Two coaches push hard on what separates winners from everyone else: relentless dissatisfaction with where you are, willingness to sacrifice, and openness to coaching. In real estate, they say the first rule is location, location, location—buy where prices are already rising or will rise.
I tell people, you can be mad at me for yelling, screaming, cursing all the way to the bank. You can be mad at me every time you make a deposit, every time you receive money. Be mad at me.
In my younger days, I was an athlete, and I much preferred having someone kick me in the ass. Yes. Then pat me on the back, tell me that there's a way to do it better so I can improve and not just keep doing it the way I was doing it.
Absolutely. And that is so imperative And so you ask, what am I looking for? I'm looking for that person that says, I'm sick of this result. I want that result. Get me there, whatever it takes.
And they're willing to sacrifice. They're willing to work hard.
That's correct.
And they're willing to be coachable as to what they might need to do to improve.
That's right.
Okay. Yeah. What makes a really great deal in your eyes?
So a great deal in my eyes is, uh, a threefold process. One is, is that it's, of course, as in real estate, the number one rule: location, location, location. Is it in an area that is appreciated in value? So number one, is appreciated or going to appreciate, has the potential to appreciate.
