Because he knows— yeah, he no-showed, but it just popped up showing he was in the waiting room.
Yes, he joined late.
He joined the— yeah, the wrong time zone. So we'll reach back out to him and let him know that there was a discrepancy in the clock. Sorry about this, Gary, I just— it popped up and I want to make sure that we didn't have you and somebody else on a conflict time.
Oh, no problem, sir, I appreciate that.
So I'm confused, I'm looking at the side of your head Oh, there you go. Now I can see you.
Yeah, I got a few screens, so I'm sorry. I gotta face the radio, man.
Yeah, you gotta face the radio. So yeah, I— yeah, you got me on one screen, your camera's on the other one.
Yeah, that's it.
Drag it over so we can look at each other.
No problem.
So tell me about Gary. Tell me, tell me who you are, what you do, and why you want to make a huge transformation of your life?
Well, I have been in sales for 30 years, believe it or not. Okay, started, started, well, longer than that actually because I'm 54 and I started when I was 19. So I sold new homes for 20 years until the crash, and then I went into financial sales doing debt settlement, credit repair, uh, funds acquisitions for companies. Uh, I have 3 children. I have 1 granddaughter. Uh, I am engaged to a beautiful woman, uh, that I'm very, very happy with, uh, after my first episode. Uh, I live in Dallas, Texas, just north of Dallas actually, in McKinney. Played college football, uh, was in a fraternity, so I did the whole college thing. Uh, you know, I'm happy in life and I wanna, I wanna go further, you know. I want to take steps to go further.
Um, I love it, I love it. Uh, you're in McKinney, Texas?
Yes, sir.
Where, east side, west side?
Uh, I am in, uh, pretty much central McKinney, uh, just north of Dallas, so Uh, middle of—
I don't know where.
Oh, I'll say where in— we're in Allen, so we used to be located in McKinney.
Yeah, my office used to be in McKinney.
Oh, I'm off Virginia Parkway, uh, and, uh, Lake Forest. I'm right there across from the 7-Eleven, if you know where that is.
So there's a whole— there's a, uh, Sprouts right there.
Yep, I know where you guys were. Yeah, the Sprouts. I'm further down Lake Forest. Towards Frisco.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay. Yeah, you know, so I was in that— so that, that office building is right there on the corner of 75 and, um, Lake Forest. Uh, no, not Lake Forest. Um, Wyatt Avenue. Never mind.
So I know why I haven't even—
yeah, yeah. Okay. All right. Uh, no, Virginia. So yeah, so the 75 and Virginia, there's a, uh, a 3-story building there Yep. Um, I was in that now. I was across the street over there at Redbud in that 4-story building, and we have a sign on the building, so our company's on the building. Now we're in Allen.
Okay. I love Allen. I mean, I, I lived in Plano for 30 years.
Okay, so, um, what do you know about me, our company, and what we're doing, Gary?
Uh, honestly Not much, but I'd like to hear about it. Uh, I have also been, uh, one that, uh, bought homes for investors in the past. Uh, I, I have to plead my ignorance here.
Well, let me ask you this. So you're, you're wanting to make a transformation of your life. Obviously you're looking to make a change. You want a better opportunity, you want a better future, you want to really excel and get everything out of life that you've ever dreamt of. You said you're newly remarried, right?
Not yet. Not yet. I got to make money to buy her a ring.
Yeah. So your fiancée or your girlfriend's like, man, Gary, I want you to be the man that I think you are. I want you to excel. I need you to just make life happen so that we can enjoy it in our golden years. Right?
She wants me to kick butt and take names.
All right. Kick butt and take names. I love it. This is what she wants. It's what Gary wants. Gary wants to do this. What's your— what's your fiancée's name?
Sydney, with a C. Sydney.
Sydney. Gary wants to make Sydney just madly the queen of his life and give her everything she deserves. Gary wants to be her knight in shining armor, all that, right?
Yep.
And then you have an opportunity to do that and you don't even look up the company, the person, and the team to make sure we are the vehicle for you to do that.
Honestly, I've applied for so many jobs, I probably looked you up and I just forgot.
Well, that breaks my heart, Gary, because I wanted to bring you on to our group. But if you can't take the initiative to know why you want to be a part of our fam— there you go. See? Wow. I don't, I don't need shit like this on my schedule. Wow. Toothless, greasy-haired piece of crap.
Wait, that's why— I mean, see, it's embarrassing.
Called out. You got called out.
Well, it's just embarrassing. Like, it is. Just own it.
Just own it. You're right, sir. You're right. My bad. Damn it. I'm gonna learn. I mean, I'm 56 years old. I should know this shit. I'm not 18 applying for my first job.
Yeah, and you were not— you weren't disrespectful at all.
Oh, I do. I put him on a platform, a pedestal, and then said, but you didn't even do this one thing. You want all this, but you didn't do the one simple thing. Is this the firm? Is this the company? No, you're looking for an effing job.
Yep.
I love being me most of the
