What do you need to know about traditional financing versus private equity lending? There's two different schools of thought there. Private lending is going to be expensive, can be higher interest rate, higher fees, but it's also going to give you higher leverage with less underwriting. Traditional financing, whether it be bank, whether it be Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, they're going to be lower rates, lower fees, but you also have to provide a lot of financial stability— pay stubs, W-2s, tax returns, job history. So you need to decide what's important to you: a lower rate, lower fees, or simplicity of ease. If you go the Equity World, it is so much simpler, so much easier. When you go traditional financing, they don't care about the property, they care about you. They look at your W-2s, they look at your pay stubs, they look at your work history. Can you pay the bills?
