What's the quote where they say, like, though that person that's too busy for 20 minutes of yoga should do 40?
Yeah, right.
That person that feels like they're too busy to sit still and read a chiropractic book, you better read two, right? Because it's like you double the dose if you feel that, if you feel too busy or too off for that, because it's. And you get tapped back in, and all of a sudden you can feel the hum again. And that's a gift that you gotta learn how to give yourself.
Hello, and welcome to Build you'd Remarkable Practice podcast. This podcast is dedicated to chiropractors who are in the seasons of launching and building their practice. Join myself, Dr. Lona, and my co host, Dr. Bobby, as we have conversations each week as it relates to building the practice of your dreams. And remember, you can have a remarkable practice as part of a remarkable life, not instead of one. We are here to lead you on the way.
All right, welcome back to Build you'd Remarkable Practice podcast. I am here with one of my favorite humans on this planet, Dr. Devin Varana, and she has been on the podcast before and is one of our favorite guests to have on because she has so much to share with chiropractors and has such a heart for growing chiropractic. And so to today, first of all, welcome Devin. And second of all, we are going to open up a great conversation today about conviction and chiropractic and how that helps you build your team and your practice. So, Devin, I want to just pitch you a question, right, to begin with. Like, I see you as one of the most rooted in, you know, chiropractic philosophy, chiropractic certainty, and it oozes from you, but I'm imagining it wasn't always that way. So, you know, anything you want to just kick off kind of sharing with, like, you know, how did you get to be you? Who stands on the stages is so fire fired up and lit for chiropractic? How did that happen?
You know, I think what I lead with is wherever I go, I don't go alone. So literally, when, you know, I have an opportunity like this, I grab a hat, which is the raising legends, which is my babies. So I. I bring my. My kids, right? So I'm tapped into that why I'm also wearing a Cal Jam shirt with Dee and Fred Barge and bj and then I grabbed these books and I set them here and my chiropractic office this way. I mean, guys, the way we do one Thing is, the way we do all things, and it's cliche, but it. It is true. Truer than true. And so, you know, the way I live my life is with the mentors, with the. The ones that have set the path before me and the ones that I'm doing it for, right? And so whether that's going to the grocery store, to my practice, like, I don't turn on a switch when I hit a stage. It's like this all the time. Because I want to live as big and bright and bold as I can, and I want to serve as big and bright and bold as I can. And I got to take people with me. That charge, that fire.
That's good. And we see you. You are big and bright and bold and on fire.
But I got help, right? I think so many people feel like you've got to fuel it, like it comes from you. And that's exhausting because we're human and we're limited, and the battery life is. Is a limited resource. And so if you're trying to stay on fire and you have to be the fire, you're going to set yourself up for failure. What I feel like I've learned through a lot of pain because you asked the question, how'd you get here? Pain. Pain is the simplest way I can answer that. Pain in birth, pain in my oldest son, who's 20 now, but had a really rough birth and cried for two years. And chiropractic changed our lives. It saved our lives. It made our lives. But pain brought us to that point. And I don't forget that. I'm humble enough. But the gift is that I learned in practice and in life and in skinning my knees and broken hearts that, like, I'm not the source. If I connect to source, then I'm never depleted. And so it's easy to be fired when I recognize I'm not the fire. I'm conduit of it. I am not the bringer of it. Right? So that.
You know what I. When you said that, the thing that stood out to me is. And I think this is true, you know, since we call this build, your remarkable practice, then in that season of build, a lot of times when you are maybe a solo doc with, you know, 1, 2, 3 CAS, whatever that is, There is this element that you. We all work through at different points, which is that you're not the one doing the healing. It's the patient and the patient's connection to their innate and how innate is working through them, and that letting go of having to be responsible or carrying the weight of other people's outcomes is a big part of learning how to hold a bigger container. And I think have that conviction to trust, like, to trust chiropractic, to trust innate, to trust how it works through people and to honor that it knows so much more than we know. And then that's part of how you are stewarding it and able to build a bigger practice because you're not beaten down from trying to control things you can't control.
Yeah, yeah. I mean, and it. It anchors everybody. I mean, anchoring's huge, right? What's BJ say? You know, no one can anchor to an unanchored mind. So. And I've. I've been that version of myself where I was unanchored. So the team was unanchored, so the parents, people I was serving were unanchored. So the practice is unanchored. That's messy, and you can't build on that. It's a shaky foundation. It's going to fail every time. But if I'm anchored, then my team's anchored, then the practice is anchored, then the adjustments are anchored, then my people are anchored. And so, you know, I guess that leads to the question, right? Like, what's your anchor? Whoever's listening to this with us today, if you can't answer that, you need to. Right? That's the beauty of TRP as well. I've always felt it, but it's helped pull it out of me in a way that now it speaks a business savvy of. Of core values and vision and mission and make it simple and make it, you know, something that the whole team and community can buy in. Because without that, like, you know, I'm going alone, and, you know, we're much more potent and powerful together. So what's your anchor, you know, and why. Why are you doing. Doing this? Right? We're talking about conviction. And reality is, quite frankly, in today's world, there are limitless jobs that are easier than chiropractic because we're holding a big grid right now, and we're dealing with really rattled nervous systems. Look at the three T's thoughts, traumas, toxins. Are you kidding me? Like, what people are dealing with mental, emotional, chemical. And we're supposed to stabilize and optimize nervous systems. Right now is a big calling. So if you come out this without an anchor and without some, you know, passion and fire, good luck. You're gon. So before you go, get still. What's your anchor? Why are you doing this? And get real clear on that. Because if you aren't, nobody else will be. Yep.
Everything is a mirror on some level, that's for sure. You know, if I think back for myself when I was learning how to develop a root, a strong conviction in chiropractic, for me, I got exposed to going to New Beginnings, which happens in New Jersey, and I went often, like, at least once, if not twice a year, to just sit and listen to people that, like, could ooze chiropractic from every pore. And I remember feeling, I think a mentor said to me, like, you know, if you squeeze an orange, orange juice is supposed to come out. You know, if we squeeze a chiropractor, is medical jargon coming out or is it chiropractic? Right. Like, is that trust in, you know, above, down, inside out, healing? Really, there's. And so for me, that was a route for me, and it continues to be. I still make my way back there often and I bring my team with and. And so, Devin, when you think back on young chiropractic Devin, you're still young chiropractic Devin, but you know what I'm saying, Younger chiropractic Devin, what were some of those things that helped you develop your chops for chiropractic?
Oh, man. I mean, first person that comes to mind is Dr. Tim Young. And so if you haven't been to Focus okc, you just have to, like, if you're a subluxated chiropractic soul or if you, you know, feel like you're missing that thing, I don't know that there's a fire that burns brighter for the principle of chiropractic than Tim Young. And. And what he does at Focus every year. I was blessed with really good mentors, but I think that starts with being teachable. Right. I think humility is a lost art. I. I know you. I know the ones that I've sat next to that burn really bright. The. The Brett Jones, the Denisa Weber, the Katina Manning, Stu Bitman, people that you and I have.
With and had big booming practices and have big impacts on chiropractic. They're students of the game and that are. That are always looking to learn. So whatever room it is, get in it de a big one that's still alive and well. And I think when you get around people, there is that, like, mirror neuron. There's. There's a feeling, there's an essence. And I'm in a, you know, season now where I can't get to events as much without Leaving five kids behind. And so I'm making. I went to a lot of stuff early on in practice. If you are in that season where you can get there, no excuses, get right, get there, get to as many. As many events as you go, sit in the seat, you will bring that fire back home for your family, for your community, for your practice. Like, that fire is just palpable if you aren't. They're here.
Yeah.
You know, I mean, this. This book by Arnaud Brunier. I've read it three times now. Life Without Fear, you know? Fred Barge. Are you the doctor? Doctor? That's something from bj, the chiropractic textbook. I mean, these things, like, there's no excuse for not knowing where to go to get dipped, but if you're waiting on somebody else to bring it, you're the problem, you know? So you just. You got to surround yourself with those opportunities to grow from.
Right? That's an investment that. Whether it's an investment of travel or an investment of time sitting and. And immersing yourself in trying to read and understand, which I know isn't easy at first when you're first starting to, like, try and dip yourself fully, especially depending on which school you went to, if you weren't exposed to a lot of it. But that investment to really get. I'm going to use the word playful with understanding what chiropractic is really about. What is my job as being someone who facilitates and does this thing called chiropractic. And that investment is going to pay off so many dividends in your practicing life, in your team's life, because they're not going to get it if you don't get it. Right. They're going to go somewhere else if they are someone who gets it and you don't. Right. It is one of those things that do not press, you know, do not pass go, do not collect your 200. Like, you got to get what chiropractic's about.
And it's not. It's not. Once you get it, you got it.
Right?
I mean, literally, my brand is the big idea. And I've forgotten. I've fallen asleep, I've gotten numb, I've gotten sad, I've gotten sick and subluxated. And we numb out all of us. We're human, right? And so are you getting adjusted body, mind and soul. I think that comes down to habits, right? So conviction is a habit. It's a muscle that if you're not training, won't work, it won't grow, it can't serve you. And so you talked about, you know, some of that, like, passion and fire. And if I get into the tasks and the to dos. I told you, I got five kids. We got business. Like, it's really easy to get in the rat race of life. And so every morning is prayer. Every morning is going for a walk. Every morning is. Even if it's just time for an Any. The epigram that, like the. That says expect miracles. I'm getting that adjustment because I know where those two words came from and what they mean. If I have time to read out of a book, then I'm gonna, you know. You know, and what's the quote where they say, like, though that person that's too busy for 20 minutes of yoga should do 40. Yeah. That person that feels like they're too busy to sit still and read a chiropractic book, you better read too, right? Because it's like you double the dose if you feel that. If you feel too busy or too off for that, because it's. And you get tapped back in, and all of a sudden you can feel the hum again. And that's a gift that you gotta learn how to give yourself.
Yep, yep. I agree with you.
And it.
That is nervous system regulation. Also, it's what we're preaching to people is learn how to do that for yourself. Especially. I mean, I look at Devin, and she said, two sets of twins, she's running practices. Her husband runs a practice. Like, you know, Devin, has. Has that come just so easily for you to learn how to do this dance?
No, no, of course not. Right? No. Right. Yeah. I mean, it started early. I think my superpower is also my Achilles heel. We'll talk about the speed and the intensity at which I live life and that probably, I mean, I. Maybe on some levels, have always been that way, but I had my first child at 21. Single mom, put myself through, you know, bachelor degree and chiropractic school. And so I had to learn to expand time and to organize time and to be present wherever I was at, you know, because I was mom and dad for this little guy. And. And so that carved me out a lot. Then I had two sets of twins, which, you know, there's. There's that. Right? And then Joey and I are both chiropractors, and we started practice together, but we love each other so much and want to stay married forever that we were. We need two practices. So, you know, couple sets of twins, two practice. We like doing things in pairs, evidently. But, you know, because of the split. Like I've had to strengthen my ability to channel my, my fire because otherwise I'd burn myself out and everybody else around me. And so, yeah, no, I, I think by necessity I've had to get good at these things. But it doesn't come easy, right? Like, I didn't ask for easy. I asked for big and bright and beautiful. And that means God has to give me the lessons to make me the version of myself to live that.

You know, we, we were having conversation earlier this week and I think what you just said there reminded me of that is like, you know, for many of us who get to, you know, showcase chiropractic from stages or, or get to have to be on podcast and share with people about, you know, maybe something we have that we know or we've experienced in chiropractic and you know, it comes usually from either having to lean into challenges or having to get better or falling on our face on some level and realizing that's gonna work, I gotta figure out something different. I gotta ask for who my next who is to teach me something new like as Devin said, you know, humbling experiences and. Or just being humble. So you keep learning, right? And, and so for those of you listening that also think it should be easy, right? Which I don't. I'm not saying all of you feel that way, but I know sometimes we want to make things easier for people and that's a worthy thing. And at the same time, also having challenges and going through hard times, whether that's even the hard times of growth, which exposes things, that's part of developing, you know, the, the strength that you're going to need to keep stewarding to the next level and growing the vision. And that's, that's the gift in it, right. The gift is who you get to become by learning how to be a pillar, supporting chiropractic in this crazy world right now that chiropractic is so important to just stewarding so many of these new. I'm going to say, like, this audience that maybe five years ago wasn't as ready for so much of what we were preaching, that now is ready for so much more of what we've known for years. So, Devin, I don't know, you and I have gone on and on a little bit about some of these things. We're just not necessarily expecting things to be easy and being okay with that. Yeah.
I think where you talked about the orange squeeze earlier, the best juice that I've gotten to experience in life has come on the heels of pain, right? Like, you and I both shared Mother's Day not too long ago, and both of us have witnessed our mother's passings on to the next realm of life. But if chiropractic is all about tone and life and life expression, what better teacher of life than death, right? And so in the exquisite pain of grief and ending comes the reverence and gratitude for beginnings and life and children. And like, if you don't let yourself. I mean, we're human, right? We're reptilian in some. In that, like protection, fight or flight. Like, we guard naturally. But if you can just stay open to what life's trying to show you and, and get curious. You mentioned playful. I think that's essential, right? You, we, we, we take it all so seriously. We gotta figure it out and we gotta do it. Instead of like, man, why, you know, why is this happening for me? What's the lesson in this? Like, perspectives, everything. Curiosity is everything. And man make chiropractic playful again, could change the whole trajectory, right? Because Napa.
Yeah, I like it.
It should be fun. It should be Fun. And if it's not, you really need to ask yourself why. And we were at the event for TRP and the, the battleship and the pirate ship. Right. And the playfulness that was going on there. But really, like for your team, you remind me my, My nature is to nurture and mother and try to make it easy for my team. Well, you know, to the, to the leaders out there, which is all of us. You know, our job isn't necessarily to make it easy for the team, but it's, it's to be a team, you know, in the turbulent waters together. Right. Like we set sail in this thing called practice on big missions. And you know, and we call out as rebels for the hard times of sorts because we want to go help people. And I just think like, if we can make it playful and go together but not try to save each other from the pain more, just be there to champion each other, it's a whole different deal.
Yes. And we all are going through transformation then, which is the gift in all of it.
Yeah.
So, okay, so as you're, you know, just have your hands on chiropractic right now and we think about like, you know, anyone that's in this season of build and maybe some wisdom to just share with them. Like if they are, you know, feeling like chiropractic is hard right now or they're like struggling in practice. Like, what are some things that you remember for yourself when you felt. Because I know we all had that experience where you're like, is this okay? Am I gonna make it? Like, are we doing thing well? Like, how do you help yourself move through that experience as you've been building practices for a long time now.
Oh man. I'd give the chiropractic spanking that my mentors gave me early on. Dr. Steve Hayes and Dr. Richard Yini of like, quit being selfish. It's not about you. Like, if you want to, you want to adjust yourself through a subluxation season or challenge, think about the people you're serving.
Think about your.
Why stop thinking about yourself and get after it like all in for all things get going. And you know, Zig Ziglar says that, right. If you help enough people get what they want, you'll always get what you want. And I think we get really self centered sometimes because we're the product, we're the CEO. We wear all these hats in practice. So we are the center of our universe. But when you start to think about others and you get out of that, it frees up so much energy and you the stinking thinking, it solves itself, right? So there's that. I also think, you know, it doesn't have to be hard, right. Like, so many of us are, especially those of us who have navigated tough seasons. We're, like, looking for problems and looking for chaos. And look, because it's what we've known and likely even since we were kids. Right. Well, we're masters of nervous system system here. So what if we look for joy? What if we look for ways to praise our team? What if we look for, you know, the things that are happening positively for our people? If we're just looking for the wins, chances are we're going to find more of them and we make chiropractic playful again. Yeah. And then, you know, I think the other, I guess, mama bear that I would bring to this is like, I am so sick of the chiropractic story. That is, we serve 10 to 12% of the population or whatever it is. I think chiropractics, you know, subluxation is what it's always been. There's not enough people who are willing to stand for something. And so conviction is the topic, and the call to the wild heart is, what do you got to lose? Like, what's standing between you and the version of you that lights yourself on fire for this thing? For this thing, for these babies, for these, these kids, these moms, these dads, these animals, whoever, whatever it is you serve in chiropractic, like, what if you just, you went all in for 90 days and just saw. Just test it out. Go big. I mean, like, go big, Tell the story, carry your business cards, give it to the lady at the grocery store. Like, whatever you're doing, do it 10x just like, just for a season. See how it gives back and then come back here in it. And if it didn't give back to you tenfold. Okay, what are you out? Like, I just. We're playing so dang safe, and we're never gonna get anywhere that way. I, I. Chiropractic will only thrive and maybe survive if enough of us quit the and play a little more bold.
I guess that's where I, that's so good.
Oh, yeah. We are playing too safe.
Have been, all of us. And that's, that's, that's that message that I'm like, wow, is me with the finger point. I mean, it's me, you know, because you make a comfy life for yourself at some point, and then you don't want to lose what you've built. All of Us are facing, you know, the. The gap between us and. And where we're going. And just I picture Dede and BJ and Jesus and, you know, my source, my mom, the. All these babies that I will meet again in heaven, who said, like, did you give me everything you've got? And I want to be able to, when I cross over, wherever we go, I want to get to my maker and go, I did it. I went with everything I had. I did what you called me to do. I laid it all on the line. And if, you know, I got to live that way and I got to remind myself of that every single day. And so I don't. I don't know who that's for, but I hope you feel it. And if we do get to meet, come hug me. Because it is. It can be scary, but it always. Love always wins when you live like that, you know, so good.
And when you said, like, you know, if you did that for a whole month or whatever, and you went out in 10x right, like, it has to come back to you if you actually did. It is law. Yes. Which is again, the reminder that chiropractic works within the, like, the actual natural law. And. And to remind yourself that you are working in accordance to something that is so pure that if we do just have a bit more courage behind it, tell a few more people about it, dare to hire another employee or do whatever that is that's going to take things to the next level and you do it in alignment. Like, you can't fail.
Yeah, no, no, you got to go. You got to go. Our time here is. Is limited and I'll probably. I know you and I have a lot of the same. But I'll share a few of those books too, because, you know, I. As I'm sitting here, I'm like, man load of the, you know, the Donny Epstein one, the Energy 12 Stages of Healing, the Seekers code.
Oh, yeah, yeah.
And then like the Little Money Bible. And like, if you got it, it's defining where the energy is coming from and becoming that conduit. I mean, going back to that. Right. Because otherwise we are limited, fragile being. So I'd love to just share some books that help get me back on track when I, you know, slip off. So.
So where can people follow up with you? Where's your handle?
Dr. Devin Barana on Instagram and at any of the TRP immersions, I. And I'll be at Focus OkC, Mile High and the Extravaganza in Connecticut. Love going. And Canada. I get to go to Canada this year in November. So love going to chiropractic events if you, you know, need an adjustment for the chiropractic soul, I mean it, do you do not hesitate to reach out to me. I'm happy to connect and walkie talkie anytime.
Yes, Devin is great at adjusting the chiropractors above the ears. Right? That's right, that's right. All right, well, I love you and we will see you down in Orlando very shortly here.
Sounds good, love.
All right, talk to you soon. Bye. Hey everyone, please listen in for this next bonus interview of one of our remarkable success partners. They all help us help more people find the benefits of chiropractic. So listen on.
All right, guys. So today we've got a special guest on the show. I'm speaking with the awesome Alan Polish from AP4 Wealth. And this is someone guys who when it comes to all things wealth management, retirement planning, insurance, so many of us, you know, haven't really got this figured out or the last time that we looked at any of these things were potentially years ago. But it's something that we know everyone at some point in life is going to face. They're going to face, you know, these, these events that happen in our life that if you just line up all your ducks properly when those events happen, you're going to be covered, you're going to have peace of mind, you're going to ensure that everyone's being looked after, you're being looked after, your family's being looked after. And I don't know anyone who does it better in the business guys then the guys from AP for Wealth. And today I've got Alan to join us on the show. Alan, what's going on man? Take us through a little bit about AP for Wealth. I know you guys have been doing some splendid work with chiropractors when it comes to the things that we just chat about. But I love to know a little bit about AP for Wealth and what is it that you guys offer everyone?
Dr. Bobby, thanks for having me. Look where we're essentially like we're a growing financial planning business. We're specializing in superannuation insurance, retirement planning and investment. Our big focus, I guess is focusing on the Cairo niche clients because obviously they've got a lot, a lot of work on to do. They're very busy, busy people. You guys obviously have a very demanding role. So what we do essentially is we come in and we work out how we can fill in some of the gaps, especially around the insurance front because A lot of you guys have families, you know, high income earners. So essentially if anything wants to happen to you, we would obviously need to make sure that there's gaps that are filled there to ensure that, you know, you get a positive outcome.
Yeah, so talk to me a little bit about that. So I know this is a conversation that, you know, early in my career I made sure I took seriously and talk to me a little bit about what you recommend in terms of insurance. So obviously as a chiropractor or as a chiropractor, listen to this. Especially chiropractors, business owners, you know, we're high income owners like you said and obviously you usually the primary bedwin and then a family. And so you guys have products where if things were to happen, because let's face it, life happens. So let's remove the word if and insert the word when things happen. Because as life goes on, things happen. Injuries are inevitable, accidents are inevitable, death is inevitable. And what you guys do is you help us get the structure set up properly on time so that when those things happen in the future, we know that family is being looked after and we've got complete peace of mind that we're working now to be able to set up, set up family up for a lifetime essentially in the future. Is that right?
Yeah, that's right. So a lot of clients that we work with, along with the chiropractor practice, they essentially have default insurances that were set up when they first started working through like default. Super. So what that means is there's actually no contract between you and the insurer. So if anything ever happens to you, the insurer doesn't know anything about your health, doesn't know anything about your occupation. And where we come in is we try and set you up with the best policy for a Cairo that they can have in terms of the insurance offering. So, you know, some, some insurers are more specific to blue collar, some are more specific to accountants. Some insurers really want to specify and specialize in with, with chiropractors. And that really then helps get you a positive outcome because if we can make sure the definitions align to what you actually do, if you do make a claim, the process is a lot easier because remember, an insurer is always, is always first to not want to pay you out. But essentially if we do all the work beforehand while you're still quite healthy, then we can, we can make sure you get a positive claim.
Yeah, so what I heard, I want to make sure, I repeat this for everyone, is the Better, the more thorough and the more work essentially you do before an event, the easier, more streamlined the process is after the event. Is that right?
Yes. 100. 100. And that's why there's different structures you can have, like when it comes to paying insurances through your super fund. So it helps with your cash flow, but there's also structures when you're protecting your income to pay out of cash flow. And because you guys are earning quite a good amount of income, you can claim that as a tax deduction. So there's different ways of structuring it. But I think our, our expertise in the field of dealing with specifically in the health industry shows us that not every insurer will be sort of covering you for specific conditions based on that occupation.
So yeah, spot on. And I love what you said earlier. What makes you guys unique. It's not just, you know, you'll toss any product our way, but you'll obviously look at what's the right product based on specifically the carburetor industry. You guys know the industry. I know that you do all of my stuff, you do a lot of stuff for growing emerging amount of chiropractors within our tribe. And so you guys are going to tailor solutions that, you know, works best inside of the chiropractic industry.
Yeah, that's right. So, so essentially like, you know, as a chiropractor, you know, chiropractor, your business structure, your setup, you know, it's quite specific. So understanding how what a Cairo even does for work, what they do during the daily, their daily routine and all of that, that actually helps us determine potentially what policies and best outcomes we can have. So it's really understanding what a person does within their job. I think that's where we sort of a little bit different to other, like other advisors.
Yep, yep, I love it. And on that note, I know that obviously insurance is a large part of what you guys do at a rock star level for offices. Is that the only thing, however, you guys do specialize also in wealth management and future retirement planning as well. Is that right?
Yeah. Yes, that's right. So we focus on superannuation. So building up, you know, your superannuation because ultimately that is what you're going to be left at in retirement. So essentially we focus on the investments in there, also strategies around how we can structure it so you can pay less tax by using your super. But we also do investment planning, so manage funds, ETFs, direct shares. Now a big part I think of what I guess you know, as Cairo, as you guys like to do is you like to obviously purchase property and usually sometimes the best way of doing that is potentially through a self managed super fund. Right. So I guess that's where we come on board because we essentially need to give advice that as SMSF is created and an investment strategy is done. So I think, you know, focusing on those three to four areas will sort of hold you in pretty good stead.
Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Yeah. A lot of cars do love to eventually buy the premise that they're practicing in. Right. Property play. So self owned ship fund is definitely a large part of that. So you guys can help with the organization, the setup and the management of that too, right?
Yeah, 100%. So we pro, we, we project manage that. Obviously we would deal with an accountant potentially to set that up, would also deal with the solicitor to make sure that, you know, all the, all the lawyer stuff is done as well. But essentially we're doing the investment strategy on top of that. So it's a bit of a project, it's a team, team effort.
Yeah, love it. So I guess my final question, Alan, is I'm listening to these podcasts right now. Who is the right person to contact you? So if I'm listening to this and maybe I haven't done my insurances at all, that would be like an emergency red flag. It's like get on top of asap. The earlier that you do it, the more affordable and the better the outcome is. Or maybe if I'm listening to this and you know what, it's been over a year since I reviewed any of my stuff. Who'd be the right person that should reach out to you guys in the back of this?
It can be a single single person. It could be someone that has a young family. I think, you know, when, when you actually realize how often claims do happen and injuries, injuries do happen. I mean, making sure that, you know, your loved ones are protected. So I do truly believe, you know, people that have anyone that they love in this world that want to make sure they're going to be not financially burdened is definitely somebody we want to see for the insurance space. Anyway.
I love it. I love it. That's exactly what I did. I did this with you guys way before I had children or family, you know, but that's a great way of putting it. Anyone in this world who has someone that they love, guys, remember, okay, you're doing it for them. And I know, you know, you guys obviously get up on stage and say, hopefully, you know, the worst doesn't happen. But I'm just going to real with people and say the two things in life that are guaranteed are death and taxes. So I actually look at it from a different angle and say, when this happens, aren't you just. Wouldn't you have. Wouldn't you be thankful to make sure that you do all this on time so that insurance, everything is sorted and you know that, yes, the people that you love are absolutely looked after. You know, the future is bright for them either way, right?
Absolutely. I think that's the. That's the biggest one. Like, we've had probably four meetings this week where a client has had cancer. Mental health issues. It's everywhere. So sometimes, I guess when we speak about it, we don't want to be morbid to the point of making someone feel very anxious about things. But essentially claims are on the rise. Mental health is a huge, huge thing and you never know what's around the corner. So I think making sure that everything is set so that way you don't have to sell off assets if anything happens is definitely something you want to work on.
Yep, yep, nailed it. So there you go, guys. So if this is you listening to this and you need to sort out your insurances, you need to set out your future planning, your wealth planning. Guys, get on top of this thing on time. What do we do, Alan? Just get in contact with you and next steps will be organize a meeting, have a chat with you guys, jump onto a zoom call. Is that right?
Absolutely, yeah. So we have online inquiries on our website where you would put your name, your mobile number and your email. My mobile number is also on our. On our website. And the details, the lovely, remarkable practice.
We'll leave everything in the show notes. So that guy's easy. If you just jump in the show notes, there'll be a link in the show notes that you can just go straight to Alan's details and then literally book a call with Alan or his team and then get on the phone, have a chat with you guys. Right?
Yeah. So the first. Yeah, the discovery meeting is complimentary as well. So it's about where we actually work out what we may need to do. And then after that we could obviously have discussions going forward. But the first meeting is really just to get to know each other and see the lay of the land and how we can help you.
Yep, yep. There you go, guys. So organize it on time. Discovery meeting. You guys get it there. These guys are fantastic. Like I said, they look after all of my stuff and a growing amount of docs within the TRP community. So get this organized in time and it's something that you can then sleep peacefully at night knowing that all your ducks are lined up in a row. Alan, thanks so much, man. I appreciate all the work that you do, not just for us, but for chiropractors in general. I know that you guys are making some waves in the entire industry, and it's definitely something that's been needed.
Thanks, Dr. Bobby. Thank you for your time.
