Who you are today is really a combination of two things. Number one, it's the people that you met and it's experiences that you've had. So those two things make up who we are today. The people that we've met experience that we've had. And so when you realize that, then you start to recognize and realize one of the most important things that can influence your future trajectory is who you actually meet today, what rooms you put yourself in, how you invest in yourself, how you get amongst other people that force you to access areas of your brains that maybe otherwise you wouldn't access.
Hello and welcome to Build you'd Remarkable Practice Podcast. This podcast is dedicated to chiropractors who are in the seasons of launching and building their practice. Join myself, Dr. Lona and my co host, Dr. Bobby as we have conversations each week as it relates to building the practice of your dreams. And remember, you can have a remarkable practice as part of our remarkable life, not instead of one. We are here to lead you on the way.
All right, team, welcome back to the Build you'd Remarkable Practice podcast with the amazing Dr. Loner Cook and myself, Dr. Bobby Ladaspic. And today we're together learner for the first time. My God. Wow. All right, guys. So we're coming to you live today from Atlanta. So Dr. Lerner and I have had the great pleasure this weekend to be doing an event here in the Porsche center in Atlanta. And it's a smaller group, so there's about 20, 25 people there, but it's a very high level group. So to be in this group, you have to be already playing at a high level to CEO Summit. The CEO Summit. Really high performance group in a really high performance center. And we're super excited because today's podcast, when we're discussing what are we going to talk about and what do we want to go into more detail about, we're like, you know what, there's some great lessons from this group to learn. Like, when you look around this group, what are the things that you see in common? Everyone's performing at a super high level. So what are some things that you see in common that we can take from that and then we can start to apply to our own practice. But before we get to that, loner, how's the weekend been? Two big takeaways. What have you loved about the weekend?
Well, this morning just walking in, my mind was blown, but I don't want to spill it because it's part of what we're talking about here. So I think just Again, like listening to high level chiropractors with big visions and just how much that expands my own, you know, ability to dream that. And I brought my kids with. So my youngest is swimming in the pool every day, and my business partner came with her son. And so we're just having a great time all together. Bunch of great people here.
You guys are gonna be a family holiday.
Yeah. We're like, mom. It's like a mom getting away with the kids to make it all work. But that's why you need a village.
Nice. Exactly. I love it. So yesterday we kicked off today driving Porsches here on the track, which was totally awesome. So there's 25 of us all out on the track, all with our own cars, just doing everything from, you know, straight line drives to going between cones to like, I wasn't there. I know, I know. You should have been there.
I was at the aquarium.
Yeah. But it was a super cool way to kick off the weekend. So performance weekend. Starting with high performance cars, then moving into high performance business building. So this weekend, guys, we have a room full of chiropractors that are just doing really high level things. So we're talking multi, seven figures, most people. Some have multi locations. Enterprise. Enterprise locations. And so we look around the room and we thought, okay, what better way to do this podcast than to take to you? Well, what are some commonalities that we see? There's definitely lessons that you can learn when you look at this group, when you look around the room. And there's things they certainly have in common. Lauren, I know you and I sat down. We thought, okay, well, what are three things? I know there's many things that they have in common, but if we could kind of like distill it down to a top three, what are the top three things that we see? Because we know success leaves clues, right? Yeah. And one of the quickest ways to success is to model people that have already been there. So the three things that we came up with were really, like, it didn't even take us long. We literally sat here for a minute. We're like, yep, that's number one. Definitely. I agree with that. I see that. What about this for number two? Yep, definitely. I see that with number two, for sure. And then what about number three? Yep. 100%. Like, we literally got to it within a minute. So why do we kick off? Lana, what's the first thing when we look around this group that people can learn from it? And definitely that we definitely see that they all have in common?
Yep. Yeah. The first is that they have an amazing vision and a really big vision for chiropractic, for humanity, for themselves, for their team. So they likely are spending daily time just, you know, circulating in their mind, where are we going? Why are we doing it? How do we get there? Like, they're not just doing this once a quarter, once a year. These are people who spend an immense amount of time thinking and getting into their heart and their minds about where are we headed, where are we going? And you can feel it that they are big thinkers. And what was really amazing is we got to look at kind of like an intake form almost before this event of like, where each one of these CEOs want to be over the next three years. And it was really inspiring to read that and also to see the level of detail that some of them specifically put into that vision. Again, just like underlining how much time that they spend thinking about all of, all of the directional compasses for their team.
Yeah, no, absolutely. I love this exercise. It's called the 10x vision multiplier. And the 10x vision multiplier really forces you to get down in the weeds with like, looking at your goals and then asking yourself the question, what would be required in order for me to 10x these goals? Is it even possible? And it's quite interesting because I've heard this concept before. When I first heard it, I was probably pretty early in my chiropractic career and I thought, 10x, oh, it's not even possible. Like, whatever goal that I had, like 10x that is that even possible? How would you do that? When I first started to do this exercise many, many years ago, what I recognized is that it completely changed my mind about how I'd have to approach a goal. So if I had a goal, let's just say the goal was, all right, I want to hit a million dollar offers, for example, I would look at that and go, okay, well, I'd probably need to do this many events, this many screenings back in the day. You know, I'd probably have to start. This many people have a team this size. I probably have to, you know, recruit another associate or two. Like, these are the kinds of things that I would write down to help me hit that goal. If I had someone said, okay, how do you 10x that? Like, is it possible to do a $10 million office? Oh, I'd be like, dude, we have to get on like TV campaigns. And I don't even know if it's possible. But it's interesting because I had a full Circle moment yesterday, where, you know, right now, as we record this podcast completely in my mind, I can see a really clear pathway to a $10 million office. Single office. $10 million a year. And that's 10x what it was just a few years ago. And I see everyone in this group.
Yes, because you're clear about it.
Exactly.
That's what manifestation loves is the clarity.
Yeah, totally. So that's why always. It's funny how whenever we talk about, you know, key principles, somehow or another, it always goes back to the number one principle being clear in your vision. Why do you think that is? Why do you think that clarity around vision is such a big accelerant and, you know, such a big impact in multiplying your. Your ability to actually hit goals?
Yeah, I think it's how our physiology is actually made like we are meant to be like little antennas walking around. And so when our antenna has picked up an idea and downloaded it, then the physiology, the manifestation, can actually come through. If we do not clearly see it, it cannot manifest, because that's just not how the, like, natural laws work in this universe.
Yeah, yeah, it's really interesting, right? Law of attraction, people talk about. And, you know, it's funny because we're talking about the Porsche experience yesterday, and the facility here is amazing. The cars are amazing. Everything is amazing. And somebody said yesterday, I think I was speaking from the stage and I was talking about, I very much doubt that they'd actually make money from the facility. And then someone in the group was saying that they actually found out that, no, they lose. Can't remember how many millions it was annually. I think it was like something crazy, like, I'm going to say, 20 million annually. But you look at that and you go, well, how many people yesterday in our group will probably go ahead somewhere in the future and purchase a Porsche as a result of being at the experience here and now, now that you've been here, watch how many Porsches will get in front of your eyes over the next coming weeks and months and years. You'll be seeing them all over the road, everywhere. And that, I believe, is a lot of attraction. How it works, you start to see things, and then that becomes a normal thing for you, and then you start to attract more of that in your life.
Yes. Yeah, totally.
Yeah. So rule number one, guys, definitely, that we see as a commonality amongst this group is that people have high clarity around their vision and super high goals, which. Which is really, really key. Dream be amazed at what you can achieve. Rule number two, do you Want to reveal this one or do you want me to reveal it?
Go for it, Bob.
All right, so here's the rule number two. I see this one, guys. Common among successful groups of people that I get amongst in all different professions and all different businesses. And here's what it is. They love to surround themselves with other people that are on fire. Okay? So I think that's something to be said about. I think it was Einstein that said it in the beginning, that you'll end up being the average of the five people you spend time with. And so who you are today is really a combination of two things. Number one, it's the people that you met and it's experiences that you've had. So those two things make up who we are today. The people that we've met, the experiences that we've had. And so when you realize that, then you start to recognize and realize, well, one of the most important things that can influence your future trajectory is who you actually meet today, what rooms you put yourself in, how you invest in yourself, how you get amongst other people that force you to access areas of your brains that maybe otherwise you wouldn't access. So the second thing that I can see amongst the group is that everybody loves to surround themselves with high level thinkers that push them, they get them outside their comfort zone, that make them see things that maybe were blind spots to them previously. What are your thoughts on that later?
Yeah, I love that. You know, and for some of you very new to practice chiropractors listening to this, I remember a mentor saying to me, you know, when you squeeze an orange, what should come out? Orange juice. When you squeeze a chiropractor, what should come out? Chiropractic. Like, if you're in that beginning phase where you're still really getting immersed in chiropractic, part of the rooms you want to get into is those rooms of going to the right technique seminar so that your hands become like the thing you're convicted around in your ability to deliver chiropractic. You want to get in the rooms where the philosophy is deep so that you can pick up the philosophy. And then you want to get in the room where the visions are big, so you keep growing yours. So there's so many layers that. Or if you are birthing your first child, you want to get around other parents who are very successful at raising their kids and learn what they did and listen and ask questions. Like, that's probably the biggest thing. Ask the right questions too.
Yeah. And it's funny, we spoke about law of Attraction and we spoke about getting the right rooms and you mentioned birthing kids there. So in our church community, community, my wife and myself were the first couple to home birth. And that was now only two and a half years ago. Fast forward now two and a half, two and a bit years ago. And there's six people in our church community. You know, the course of decades and decades, we were the first one. Now in the space of the next two and a half years, there's six.
Right.
So it's interesting how you, how you end up exactly and how you know the people that you spend a lot of time with that you rub shoulders, how that rubs off onto other people. Yeah. Where you are right now, I think it's really important to look ahead and get in the right rooms. And sometimes getting in those rooms is going to cost you a lot more money than what you're comfortable with. That's one thing that I've learned. I recently made an investment which is probably the biggest ever single coaching investment I made. It cost me tens and tens of thousands, almost hundred thousand dollars to get into this room. But that fee I knew would be a pre qualifier for the standard of the room. Like if you can pay close 100k to be in a room, that means it's going to be a pretty high level group. And so while at the same time for me when I was making the decision I was like, oh okay, it's close to 100k. At the same time I was like no, that's a good thing because think about that's the guardrails to get into this group. Think about the quality and the caliber of people that are going to be in that room and how that's just going to naturally rub off onto you. Big lesson learned from here and from this weekend is surround yourself with the right people that push you. Sometimes you will have to pay to be in those rooms. Definitely. And that discomfort of paying to be in the room is actually a good thing. Understand that because most people won't do that. And so therefore it ends up being the pre qualifier of the group.
Yes. And to learn that lesson early in chiropractic that you are going to continually invest in yourself in your development and that is some of the best money you'll ever spend. You know, you can just tattoo that on your, your forehead if you ever need to remind yourself that.
Yes, spot on. And every time I found, you know, it was funny, the first ever coaching investment I made learn I was in the final year of chiropractic school and I was making $300 a week and I remember it was a contract for $1,000 a month. It was a coaching contract. And that made me feel super uncomfortable because I was like, man, I'm getting $300 a week and this is $1,000 contract. And they made me sign an 18 month contract. And I was like, oh, right at that point, I'm making 300 a week now. Safe to say I make more than $300 a week. But every time you go to make investment in yourself, you still have that little bit element of, you know, discomfort or in your tummy. You're like, oh, it's an investment. And every single time when you make the investment, it just turns around tenfold the minimum. And you're like, whoa, what a smart decision. What a smart investment that was. In fact, this weekend I'm actually picking up a device. We're here in Atlanta. It's a good example of this. When I left my place in Sydney four or five days ago, I just started talking to someone about some equipment that we're buying for the office for us. I started out equipment, I sent it over to my team, they handled everything and they sent me a email back when I landed here on Thursday afternoon saying, yep, you can get the equipment. The equipment is, I think it's 14, $15,000. And guess what, the CEO lives in Atlanta, so you can pick it up this weekend and not have to ship it and take it home. And so I was like, great, cool. Signed the contract, 15 grand. Now at the time I was like, oh, 15 grand, that'd be nice to, I don't know, put into something of my own. So my point is that you still get that level of like, oh, but now I realize my 15 grand will turn that around literally within days, within weeks, and you know, make tens of thousands, eventually hundreds of thousands and millions on the back of this technology. But just understand that that discomfort of investing yourself, investing in yourself is always there, but it's the one of the key things that actually drives you forward, then you should just do it anyway and not let that stop you.
Back to point 1. Have a vision for it.
Yes. Yeah, exactly. Because if I was just buying that tech and I was like, oh, another gadget, it'll just become another tool that gathers dust, that doesn't actually make any income. But one of my prerequisites when I purchase something is that I'm really clear before the purchase. I said, before we actually push, send money or whoever pushes that, I'm really clear in my head about exactly how we're going to be implementing this and not a case of like, well, let's just buy it and then I'll work out how to implement it. So meanwhile, I have a rule around that. We always have to first have like in our mind. Here's what we're doing here that's getting implemented. Here's the process. You ready? Cool. Purchase, not purchase. And then figure that out.
Yeah. And I think that's something. Chiropractors are notorious for going after shiny objects. I'm not saying that as Bobby's scenario here. So know thyself. If you're someone who constantly looks for the next thing and has not had a plan for how you're going to implement, have the vision, carry it out, be productive with that, then that goes back to again, the point one, which is that to do this at a high level, many of us, part of what we have to cultivate and hopefully these rooms you're getting into is the ability to focus and to carry things out even to the point of drug era sometimes.
Yes.
Because that's what it requires some of the time. And if it's your vision and it's your dream, then it doesn't feel like that. There's moments that can be hard, but it's. It's the hard you're choosing.
Yes. Yeah, spot on. So there's a reason why Clarity vision is number one. Because as you can see, it always goes back to that. Do I investigate this high level group? Well, what's my vision? This is my vision. Then of course this group's going to take you there, which is huge. Yeah. And then that leads us to number three. So the third point that we see guys amongst the group. So as a reminder, number one, clarity vision, number two is they like to surround themselves with people that are also on a high trajectory. And number three, this struck me yesterday when I was sitting in the room and looking at the questions that were being fielded, you know, at the expert coaches yesterday, number three really hit me like a ton of bricks. And that was that they make it bigger than just about themselves. So they always make it bigger than about themselves. So it's not. We want to grow. So I can do more and I can achieve more and I can earn more. Whatever it is, you know, insert the I there. No, it's so that we can expand more. Everybody's visions and dreams can get realized, you know, through our goals. Talk to us a little bit about what. Have you noticed? Have you seen that's a trend among successful groups that you get in for sure.
And that's, that's where the whole like, you're better with me than without me. Not because you couldn't do it alone, but because I want to attract people that can see that we can collaborate and all of us can win in the process and that, that truly having a heart for setting up. Win, win, win all of the time. Win for the, the patients we're serving, the practice members, win for the people who are collaborating to make that happen, the teammates. And then of course the business owner needs there too. But it's not in spite of any of those other things. And in fact this morning I was talking to a gentleman who's sitting over there that is a chiropractor that has a vision to keep growing these multi practices so that eventually all of his people have equity in them. And I'm like, that's such a beautiful vision, right? Like to go to these high level things because you want your entire team to win and enjoy the things you're also enjoying.
Yeah, that was something that was really, really at the front of mine and my wife's minds when we build our businesses, that we have a model that everybody's dreams can be realized under that model, not just one person's dream. And it's funny, I think parents, especially when you become a parent, you realize this and some of you guys listen to this. Maybe our parents, some of you aren't, maybe some of you will be in the future. But I think that kids change that for you a lot because you start to recognize and realize that you'll do so much more for actually other people. And when you make that a strong point, when you make that something that you focus on, then some of the way that you achieve goals, move towards goals, completely changes. Because you'll do a certain things for yourself, but you'll go above and beyond for other people. And I think that's something that you can really powerfully leverage when you're building a business.
Yes. Yeah, I totally agree. And, and that idea too, that like sometimes you get to a place where you're probably happy and comfortable, but you realize everyone around me, they got big dreams too. We've got to, we've all got to keep going. We got to keep growing together because I want that for all of them. Right. And that helps you grow the vision bigger than maybe you would have done if it was only about you.
Yeah, yeah, exactly right. Which goes back to point number one, vision. If you're having trouble laying out a vision, well, often involve other People in it because your goals will change. They naturally have to up regulate and get bigger and change. If you on those goals have multiple people that you're trying to hit goals for.
Yes.
And recognize that, you know, as a human being, every single human being loves to see progress in their life. Every single human being has a purpose, Right? Every single human being has goals. Whether they consciously recognize it or not is different story, but they all have it. And so if you're the person that can help them A, consciously recognize it and then B realize it, well, then you become a very powerful person to stay associated with. So if you're someone who leads a team, that means that your churn rate of team member is going to be much lower because people are going to stick with you long term because by being with you, they can actually realize their vision too. So when you make your goals bigger than just about yourself, guys, it naturally forces you to upregulate your goals. It naturally forces you then to think bigger. And people often ask me, hey, how do I improve as a leader? Like, I really want to improve as a leader. I really want to prove as a leader. And one of the things that I tell them always is one of the best ways to do that is in your mind, start thinking about things bigger than just yourself because it will force you to level up your game and how you show up and how you present yourself and how you learn all the skill sets needed to lead. Something like that.
For those of you just starting in practice, your first hire, sometimes I know there's that really uncomfortable feeling of like, I'm not even paying myself well yet and I'm hiring someone and I'm going to be responsible for their salary. And that's part of, you know, beginning this curve of like, I'm thinking about someone else. At the same time I'm thinking about myself and wanting a trajectory for them to win. And part of them winning isn't always just about money. Money is part of it, but it's also about, you know, can I come to work somewhere where I've. I'm enrolled in a vision that I believe in? Like, that's a huge part of this. And that's why your vision carries throughout. Because people will do a lot, they'll work really hard, they'll do the drudgery with you when they believe in what the mission and the vision is carrying out. So again, any work that you do there is, is going to pay off tenfold.
Yep, yep, ex. And one of the core concepts from the weekend guys was even this idea about investing in your business ahead of the growth, that's what that is. Because you know where you're going if you're clear with your vision. And very often you actually have to invest, which AKA means put money down the table without seeing the return ahead of the growth. Okay, it's like a car. You can buy a car, but if the fuel tank is empty, it's not going to do anything. So you actually have to put the fuel in it first, which costs more money. So you can realize the investment that you just made in this brand new car and actually enjoy it. Same thing with your business. It's like you've got to, if you know your vision, invest in that ahead of time. And I think it's a really important concept to end on as well. I explained this to one of my associates recently. When you go into business, people think that, oh, I'm taking a risk once. It's like I'm taking this risk going into business, okay? And they think, oh, okay. And they often stew on it, sometimes for years. I think I'm taking this risk. I'm going into business for myself. All right, I'll do it. And what you should actually realize is what business really is. It's continually, every single day, taking many risks. Right? Do I purchase this equipment? Well, there's the example there. Do I purchase equipment? Somebody becomes 13, $15,000. I could keep the money in my pocket. What I'm choosing to do is like a risk. In that example, 13 to 15 in hope that's going to give me a better return. Do I upgrade my space? Well, list space is kind of good, but we kind of need something more comfortable. I'm choosing to invest ahead of the growth, knowing it's going to lead to growth. Do I put more money into marketing? Oh, I'm not really sure. I've never done these kind of events before. Should I pay my end to this? In marketing, right? You're choosing to risk a certain amount of money for that marketing. Know that that money could potentially produce more people in the office. It gets you a better roi. So recognize and realize. I could give you example after example that businesses is continually, if you're doing it right, almost daily, mini risk that you're taking, calculator risk where you're backing yourself that you're going to get a better return. And you do that because you know that's how you grow and that's how you help others achieve their goals as well. And so that ability to take risks, I think is nothing that's really key.
Yes. So good. So in just kind of rounding this conversation out, those of you sitting here thinking, I haven't thought like that before, great, you're already starting this process by just listening to the podcast and then you're going to start to play with that vision more. You're going to get in some better rooms. You're going to re evaluate who you're spending the most time that each week that you're letting influence your mindset and you're going to start to think about other people in the vision and certainly bring them along with you. And that's why a players are required is because we want to be linking arms with those of us that are actually going to be able to carry this out in a meaningful way together. So there, there really is no seats on bus for people who don't want to carry their weight and grow it alongside them and win in the outcomes that you're sharing together.
Yep, spot on. And invest in yourself, guys. This is why having a world class coach ahead of you so critical and key because so many of those risks you can actually be helped. First you get blind. You get blind spots that are highlighted for you. You don't even realize risks that you should be taking. And then number two, when you take the risks, they're actually not that great a risk because you've got someone way ahead of you that's like, it's okay, I remember when I was there, here's what happens, here's what you should do next. Guess what, you take the risks quicker, you make the mistakes quicker and therefore you grow and you learn, you expand quicker as well. So you know, it's why coaching is so key. And you look at this group here and it paid thousands of thousands of dollars to be here. And it's because of that we know that, you know, it achieves those three things that we just chatted about. But at the same time, it's investing ahead of the growth and it's investing in someone to show me the way, eliminate the blind spots and therefore risk mitigate. You really reduce the risk. Risk majorly. The only risk that you kind of still maintain is your ability to actually implement things which guess what, we'll talk about that maybe another time. But that's a muscle that can be trained. If you're someone that's like, well, I just don't implement things, there's a muscle to train that. So you become an implement implementation machine.
Yeah. Revert back to step one.
Yeah, yeah. Step one of that process is step one of Today.
Yeah.
Clarity, vision. Remind yourself that. Awesome. All right, fantastic. Guys, we're gonna go because we gotta kick off this event and we are doing round tables, so awesome as always. If you guys enjoyed this, subscribe, give us a like or if you need any help, send us a message on Instagram probably is the easiest. Otherwise we'll catch you guys next week.
Thanks, guys. Hey, everyone, please listen in for this next bonus interview of one of our remarkable success partners. They all help us help more people find the benefits of chiropractic. So listen on.
All right, welcome back, Remarkables. This is coach day with the remarkable practice, and I have an awesome opportunity today to interview Margaret Roslonic with Fortis. And I gotta say that I run Fortis in my practice and as I was getting ready to interview her, I'm like, boy, this is one of those systems that just is automated and runs in the background. And I know that my staff absolutely loves using Fortis since ever since we changed, but it's just one of those things that it just works the way that it should and it provides consistent outcomes. So in all honesty, Margaret, as we go through this, I'm going to be learning as well because I remember when we brought Fortison to our office and I was like, yes, this is a really good idea, but I'm not actually in the day to day with it. So I let my staff do that just because that's not my superpower. So I delegate that. But. But honestly, I'm. I'm looking forward to this interview as much as hopefully you are as well. Welcome.
Yes.
Thank you so much for having me. I appreciate the opportunity to connect with you and to the TRB tribe listening in. So I really appreciate that. And yes, that's one of my favorite testimonials that I received from docs is that Fortis is the best thing that I know nothing about. My team loves it, the payments go through flawlessly, and we're just so thankful to have you. So I appreciate that feedback from you and I'm happy that your team is loving it too.
I'm glad I'm not the only person that said that. That's great.
Yes.
So I've got a few questions for you here and let me go ahead and get started with the first one. So. So what is the specific problem that you actually do solve? Because at the end of the day, businesses are in existence to solve problems for either another person or another business. So tell everyone online or that's listening, like, what does Fortis solve?
Yeah. So Fortis, you Know, our goal is really to find the chiropractor that's looking to be mission driven and purpose driven instead of task driven. And so we really want the whole team, whether it's, you know, Cairo working solo as a practitioner as he's just launching, or if you're in the scale phase and you've really got a huge team under your your wings there to be able to make sure that everybody is on mission and being able to put healing, retention and getting families and serving families in the community under care. And so our problem that we solve is really eliminating the friction that can occur with payments. Whether it's eliminating the money mindset by automating and creating recurring revenue so that the payments are just running invisible behind scenes. Being able to prevent your staff from having to have those money objection conversations at the front desk and instead ensuring a smooth process flow where they get to love on patients and be able to engage with them about who else do you know that we can help with Chiropractic, right. Really educating them about their treatment as they're going their healing process and just making them have that energy at the front desk that really makes a difference. So, you know, between the automations that we provide and the ability to really keep the staff's focus on how do we heal, how do we serve families and how do we keep patients under care, you know, by automating and again creating these different types of payment methods that are going to create a seamless and remarkable experience for the patient. So recurring revenue, being able to send a pay link where you can just do text to pay and the patient can just click right from their phone, that card can be stored on file automatically and all the payments will sync right back into the ehr. Eliminating that need to have to do manual entry and just allowing your team to have that payment experience be something that is really flawless compared to having to collect every single time, every card.
That is tremendous. And that, and that's exactly what docs need to hear as well. Whether they're in build or scale or transitioning from build to scale is, you know, the last thing that you want to do is bog your team down with tasks. Right? And the more streamlined and the more efficiency that you have, the less bandwidth that you're going to be pulling from your team. So that's one of the reasons why I absolutely love it and why I think I would be in big trouble if I ever considered changing that. So very, very good on that. So the next question is kind of an interesting one, but it's what kind of a return on investment can a CEO expect from actually investing again, your guys services. And as we were talking earlier, it's like when we talk about a return on investment, it's not always financial. Right? So we as owners or as CEOs, we have four limited resources, just like every other human. We have time, we have energy, we have our money obviously, and our focus. So again, what kind of return on investment can a CEO look for if they invest in Fortis?
Yeah, so with Fortis, we offer so many opportunities for return on investment when it comes to the time that you're saving. So not only from a recurring revenue standpoint of having predictable and allowing you to be able to have that revenue that you can count on each month coming through automatically, but on top of that, like you said, saving the team's time from those redundant tasks. So I actually used to manage a chiropractic office myself, so I come from the front desk experience and can give that insight to the time that we were collecting at the time of service and having to have that card in hand and swipe that copay every single time. It really bogged us down at the front desk, not only from a capacity level, but also when it came to how we were purpose driven. So it was really easy to get discouraged in the mindset that we had of we're so chaotic, we're so busy at the front desk trying to check out all of these patients all at once while the phone is ringing with a new patient, while we've got someone that needs to be brought back to the report of findings room, there were just so many things happen at once. And so when you have all of those patients stopping at the desk every single time trying to check out, it really creates this bottleneck. But it also puts so much stress on your team and they really can't see that there's a ceiling that they're just bumping up against. So we would have the mentality of like, oh my gosh, Doc is saying like, we need to grow and see at least 10 more new patients. That's weak. And we're looking and saying how can we possibly do this? But once we implemented Fortis in the practice and we realized that by storing cards on file so we didn't have to have patients physically in front of us to be able to check out by automating those payment plans, we went away from time of service payments. Anyone that was under active or corrective care, we gave the option of either a prepay or going into a monthly recurring revenue model. And so that way we were able to streamline that. So now Instead of, of 30, you know, patients having 12 visits in a month and having to collect each time, whatever the case might be, now we've got just one monthly payment for each of them. So it made a huge difference that way. But it also created the ability for us to be able to free our time to understand and see how we really could see more people. And after we implemented Fortis, we grew from 300 patient visits a week to over 500 patient visits a week because we just removed that friction at the front desk. And we also gave that freedom to the team to be able to then focus on other things rather than just swiping payments all the time. So it's a really a huge difference. And especially being able to keep your team on mission really drives the growth of your practice. When you've got a burnout team, they're not willing to go and get that one more. They're not willing to ask and see who else can we help. So you really want to keep your team inspired, empowered and purpose driven as they work through their shifts.
Boy, I think we need to get you on the coaching team. You pull all my thunder that I was going to parlay what you were just saying, but that's absolutely it. I mean again, you know, I listened to this in the, the, the context of being like a sole provider or sole practitioner and like a small, lean, mean team. This is huge. I mean you, the amount of time that you're going to buy back, but then also like the, the clinics that are, you know, 5, 600 and plus the amount of time saving. So you know, and I know that there are other services out there that are similar, but I think that you guys are just don't even compare it to the others. So you guys do an excellent job on that. So a couple other questions for you though, and this is a big one too, is like considering like what's important next. And as you look ahead and assess the needs for our profession in terms of chiropractic, how are you helping doctors be prepared to succeed in the future?
So we have so many different ways that you can take a payment with Fornas. It's not like an old school terminal where you have to be in office and at the front desk ready to collect in hand. So we have already the payment capabilities for you to embed web payments anywhere in your social media marketing, your click funnels, you could easily pose it into your dinner with the doc talks and different webinars and things that you're doing where you can give the opportunity to schedule with you and book new patient appointments and then have a payment to secure that appointment. So it's really important to eliminate no call, no shows so that the doc's time, when you're setting aside such an an important time frame for that patient to have that one on one care with the doc, that patient shows up. So it's a way for you to be able to qualify and make sure that you're not just getting quantity of people that are signing up for your appointments and then not showing you can attach a payment to it. And with our web payment feature, what's amazing is that you can fully customize it to be matching your branding, your message. What do you want the pay button to say? What, what information do you want to collect from this lead? That's what they are at that point. And so you're able to customize all of that and you even have the ability to customize your redirect pages. So if the payment goes through successfully, take them to this scheduling screen. If the payment declines, take them to this screen that maybe says to contact the office. Right. So there's all of that customization. So we're always staying ahead of what is needed in the tech world to be able to accommodate your payment anywhere in and outside of the office. We have a fantastic mobile app and we actually, it's just about ready to release. We're so excited. So it's coming soon where you can actually use your iPhone as a terminal for tap to pay. So imagine being at an event, a wellness event, and you're meeting 80 new patients in this one weekend. And now to be able to secure that payment, to get them in your door, you just need an iPhone and be able to tap right there and select that payment.
Could have used that last week.
Yes, yes. So that is coming soon and we're really excited about that. Now here to take it to another level. With Fortis, you can store any card from a ran transaction. So what that means is if you meet Becky on Saturday afternoon and she comes in for her new patient on Tuesday, you can go back, grab that transaction from Tuesday. Because remember, with Fortis, all of your contacts that you have in Fortis are auto generated because we're embedded in the EHR. So if you're using ClinicMind or Platinum like some other success partners, you'll be able to have Becky's contact created. Once she's in the office, you can go grab that transaction, tie it to her contact now that you know for sure she's a new patient and in your ehr. And then you can store the card on file after the fact, even give it a nickname. And you can share cards across family members and even split payments too. So if Becky is a mom, you've now got mom's HSA on file. So when little Timmy and little Susie come in for their appointments the two days later, because we're explaining how important it is to get families under care, right then you already have their card on file. And when you're going to check them out in the ehr, you don't have to navigate to mom's account. You simply check out Timmy and mom's card is right there available for you. No debate. Credit transactions, moving things around. Your team doesn't have to take, you know, 10 steps to make one change. It's just going to be right there and flawless for the team.
Incredible. And way to stay ahead of the curve on that too. That, that's incredible. Thank you for, for this explanation again that that brings me or provides some clarity for me on some of the new features that I'm going to be looking forward to as well. So what's the best way for the listeners to learn more and get in contact with you to take that next action? See step.
Yeah, so we do have a page dedicated to our TRP members. And so if you just navigate to go.fortispay.com TRPsuccess partner that will get you right to our special page so that we know that you're a TRP member and we can give you a sweet little promo for checking us out and learning about us through trp. We have so many clinics that we work with that are already TRP Fortis members. And it's so exciting to be able to go to the immersions and be able to hear from those clinics what an impact Fortis has made for them. So we definitely would love if you use that, you know, page so we can give you guys some extra love for being part of TRP. But you can also email us@cairofortispay.com and we also have a phone number you can call 855-9999 and you'll be able to reach our team. But I would say the easiest way to go is go.fortispay.com TRPsuccess partner Terrific.
