What does 12 months from now look like for you? Where are you going with your business or your businesses? You've got to have a vision story where you could be able to speak for an hour uninterrupted, describing to us what success looks like 12 months from now. Okay. Because once you can do that, the only thing, the reason that you're not there yet at the moment is a skill set thing. So there's a skill set shortage somewhere. And the way that you get skills is you buy them. It's really that simple.
Hello and welcome to Build you'd Remarkable Practice podcast. This podcast is dedicated to chiropractors who are in the seasons of launching and building their practice. Join myself, Dr. Lona and my co host, Dr. Bobby as we have conversations each week as it relates to building the practice of your dreams. And remember, you can have a remarkable practice as part of a remarkable life, not instead of one. We are here to lead you on the way.
Welcome back, team to the Build you'd Remarkable Practice podcast with the fantastic Dr. Londa Cook and myself, Dr. Bobby, where we come to you every single week, guys, with practical tips for growing your chiropractic office, scaling to the next level and making a bigger impact. And today's episode. I'm excited about London because it's something that when we'll talk about in the pre show notes, both of us resonated with immediately. But it really stems from a place of a story that you were sharing. So a lot of us know that obviously you have multiple practices, but what's really unique about your case is that you have a school based practice inside of the school and you'll often get questions around that, I'm sure. And how do you do it and when's the right time to do it and should I do that immediately? And this really is a business principle today that we want to talk about with a lot of people, that we see people doing two things at once or branching away too early. So why don't you kick us off by sharing your story and what, what's the lesson that you learned through that? And then we're gonna unpack. How do you scale properly and not lose focus on things too early?
Yeah, thanks. Well, I was just telling Bobbi we had a research paper finally come out that's published on like 187 retrospective cases. So kids in school that we were seeing for chiropractic care over the last number of years and it finally came out and this has been something in the works that we've literally Been working on with the HAVOC research team and the LIFE University team for eight years. So to have this paper come out that showcases some of what we all that we see that in our brick and mortar practices that chiropractic helps people of all ages and certainly kids are no different. You know, it was a, it felt really great to see the paper come out because we fundraised for it and obviously there's been a lot of work going into building this, this practice that operates in the school system. But what I shared with Bobby is that, you know, you see something like that and of course we get a lot of like accolades of like, oh, thanks for doing the research and you know, like this is amazing that this came out and I had someone message me that's like, oh, I'm so proud of what you've done the last couple years. And I in my head is thinking, yeah, that's been more like eight to 10 years to get to this point where the research paper came out. Right. And so, so much of scaling is learning that art of seeing something that's not there yet that might not show up for some years and putting the, like the durability test into where, you know, your practice needs to get rooted so that you actually can pick your head up to do something. Like in our case it was the school based practice and growing that now doing research, you know, that couldn't have happened had we not learned how to get great systems in place in the main office, have a great team built around it and certainly TRP helping me learn how to scale is why we can be doing the things that we are doing. So I'm forever grateful and I'm excited to see what else is possible now that, you know, we have so much more awareness to how you can do things like this if you have the right team in place.
So that's super, super exciting for chiropractic. So you guys had how many case studies, retrospective case studies on children inside of school and how they responded to chiropractic care?
Yeah, I think in this series because there's another one that's going to be published. There's 187 kids that they crunch the data on.
Yeah. So 187 kids. And what do they find lona? What do they find with 187 kids that run to care?
Okay, so we are looking. This is again the research team is better at packaging this all up. But they had us looking at hrv. They had us looking at obviously things that the kids self reported on and depending on the age of the child, like if they were five years old, then their, their teacher or their para helped them report because there's certain classifications of how we take in that type of data that's self reported, but a lot of it showed that the child's self of sense of self awareness to how they felt about themselves in school and how capable they like assess themselves to be in responding to their peers and navigating. The school day increased and was improved with chiropractic care, which is part of what we're trying to show is down the road. We want to do the next phase of research showing that this actually is influencing the cortex so how the brain functions. And that's why there's reports of these different changes. Of course there was reports of like, less bedwetting and some of the like, more typical things that are symptoms that go away in children as they become less subluxated. But yeah, so we're trying to also showcase how it would make a difference in a child's school day.
Yeah. Wow, that's amazing. That's so, so cool. So the thing that I take out of that, obviously is we're getting this body of evidence emerging more and more, which is so valuable for the profession. And it's so cool to see, you know, how chiropractic kids that are undercared in schools respond differently. And we're starting to kind of put the piece of the puzzle together. But obviously this is a business podcast and one of the things that sticks out for me, what you said in that whole last five minutes, Ilona, is that this didn't happen overnight. It didn't even happen in one or two years, which is externally facing what it looks like. So people that are looking externally say, oh, great, I know you've been working that for a couple of years, but what you said there was, yeah, more like seven or eight years, which, if I calculate that right, is probably four times more than what the external person sees. And I think that there's a very good lesson to be learned there that, you know, success, quite frankly, takes focus and then multiplied by time. I once heard this equation that says that intensity of focus. So how intensely you focus on something multiplied by time is what ends up equaling the outcome. So, you know, you guys had eight years there of a certain level of intensity of focus which led to this outcome. But I think there's really great principles there to be learned in business life as well. If you're building an office or you're scaling to the next level, you might have an idea in your head about how long something takes and you might think, oh, you know, this should take me six months or it should take me 12 months. And yes, while with time you can accelerate quicker through the acquisition of skills. And I'm going to share a story about that. Really nothing can cut the time short in terms of like the only thing I should say that cuts the time shorter is the intensity of focus on something and staying the course on one thing for a long enough period of time to get the results and outcomes. Would you agree with that?
Yes, I would totally agree with that. Intensity of focus. Yes.
Yeah. So it reminded me, when we're talking about this, of a rule and I got this rule. I learned this, I was blessed to have learned this probably in like my first year in practice. And it was by Dr. Fransen. And I'll give you the G rated version of the rule, but the rule says it has two parts to it. He says in chiropractic and he told me he got this from Reggie Gold. He goes in chiropractic, a lot of people don't build an amazing office because they get distracted. I think in life that's what happens when people get distracted and say, in fact they say that focus stands for focus. One course until successful. Right? So focus on one course until successful focus.
Okay.
So I heard I focus on one course until successful. And so many people lose focus, they either open a second practice too quickly or they do a second. Today's world, it's so popular to be doing like side hustle. I got this side hustle, it's great, it's only an extra 10k a month or they get distracted by something else which really is taking away from their primary business. And the two step rule that he told me was this ready? He goes step number one to the rule is build a kick ass practice. So spend the time, spend the effort, spend the money needed to build a kick ass practice. Because along that journey there's a lot of skill sets that you need to learn and, and you get skill sets by buying them. So I always look at what level I'm going to, what skill set am I missing, who do I need to employ, which mentor or coach do I need to get? Because I'm going to buy that skill set and I'm going to save myself a truckload of time. All right, so spend step number one is spend the time to build a kick ass practice. And then, and then the second part of the rule is do whatever the heck you want. Okay? Now whatever the heck you want might mean, all right, now I'm going to replicate to another office. Do whatever heck you want. Might be like, now I'm going to start another business. Do what the heck you want. Might be like, well, you know what? Now I'm going to kick back and just go surfing on the weekends. Okay. Some people want to buy back that time. That's totally cool. But you can't skip step one and go to step two. You've got to do it in that order. So it's something that I really. In those early days when I was building my office as we were in, me, my wife, I just kind of kept in the back of my mind always. It was like, I know that there's a lot of challenges right now at the moment, but this is rule number one. I'm building practice. I'm learning the skill set. I'm investing always in mentors and coaches around me, and I'm, like, purchasing these skill sets, which allowed us to grow that first office and then buy back our time so we can do multiple other things now in the future.
Yes. So good. And, you know, to where we were talking about before, a lot of that is not visible to the outside eye. Right. They don't know how many layers and investments and, you know, places you got vulnerable and places you had to look stupid to show your vulnerabilities to get better. You know, like, there's so many elements there that aren't on Instagram. Right.
Spot on. Because I've got a question for you. So we see it firsthand now with you, and we see it, obviously, you've had the ability now to go into a school, build a successful practice, get all this research that's emerging from that. Can you walk us through it? How important is it for you to have had an original office that's actually durable, which means it functions as a business, so it's not reliant on loner being there every second of the day in order to afford you the time to be able to do that.
Hey, Doc, I have a question for you. Do you feel like you own a job or a business? If you're like most chiropractors, you feel like you own a job. In fact, if you're being honest, you probably feel like your job owns you. Hey, I'm Dr. Steven Fransen from the Remarkable CEO Podcast for Chiropractors. I don't even know how to like triple underline that. You know, if I think back the first three years of practice for me, I was all in on building the main practice. Like I wasn't married, I didn't have kids. Like I was all in on practice and it grew very quickly.
And I had really created a system built around me at that point. But I had the experience then of how do you build a high volume office and how do you run at a pace?
And as that then moved into I did start to scale at that point I brought an associate into my practice and I actually opened another practice then quickly figured out that training others wasn't the same as training myself. So then I had to go through the like school of hard knocks. Learning how to speak other languages and how to help someone else's learning curve and how to do a second practice was a different animal than the first practice and in a different location that was a different animal than, you know, the different type of demographic. And I learned a lot. And so I think the next I mean it's always learning that, you know, all of it is constant learning. But I was gathering different skill sets. The first three years was really gathering skill set in just learning how to run one business and learning how to run a second practice or first practice and then the next part of that was starting to learn how to help other people run my practices so that we could keep growing. But it wasn't all done by me, right? And I wish I would have had TRP at that point because I probably could have really sped up my learning curve and some of the painful things that didn't scale well. But I think there's really no failure because you're always just feeling forward, like that didn't work. Let me move on to the next thing. Or that was painful. Let me move on to the next thing. So, you know, as I learned that it wasn't going to be done all by me, that's what then attracted, you know, now we were probably six, seven years in and I was, I was traveling quite a bit in the profession speaking already. And so I was getting, you know, exposed to a lot of ideas as well as exposed to a lot of students. And so I think attracting my team became easier then because I could find people that were resonating with the message that I was maybe at seminars, connecting with, et cetera. So it was like there's this perfect storm of right things that were happening. I was growing, I was expanding and my team was expanding and we were attracting the right people in. And I just kept moving with it and just leaning into what felt like the right next step. And then like Bobbi said, finding the right mentors to keep helping me because sometimes it was outgrowing mentors too. And that was an okay thing. And so we could never have probably. I remember actually like when we went into scale mode on the school, school based practice, because before I was still running it, I wasn't scaling any of it. And one of the women I had met on a mission trip and at several seminars came up to just shadow in my practice. And all of a sudden, midway through her shadowing, she's like, I don't think I'm supposed to go back to Ohio. I think I'm supposed to move here and do the school based practice with you. And I was like, oh my gosh, that would be amazing because I was starting to feel like I couldn't keep doing this thing by myself. So she came in and we received a fair amount of feedback from other mentors in our profession that this will never work. You can never do a school based practice. Like there's so much red tape. Don't move up here. And that's part of where your vision has to pull you through a lot of the things that maybe other people don't see. But you, you know, it's on your heart and you, you know, been placed in a circumstance for a reason. So I think, you know, a lot of besides scaling and learning how to employ the right people and leverage team, it was also learning how to really trust myself and become A stronger leader and how to not have to have someone always give me the right answer so that we could keep moving.
But it's interesting you should say that because even that being able to, you know, know what the right answer is and being able to kind of build that gut instinct, I look at that and I go, you know, yes, two parts gut, one part data. I look at that and go, that's, that's a skill set to learn how to do that, you know. So again, in the beginning, if I go back to my very early days, like my gut told me, yeah, you can do this, yet you're equipped to build an amazing office and help a lot of people. Yep. You've got, you know, this amazing knowledge as a, as a chiropractor. But I don't know where to start. I don't know where to do. I don't know how to get a newie in. I don't know how. I didn't even know conversion was a thing. You'll hear my little daughter in the background here having a great, great old time. I didn't know where to start, guys. So like what I recognized is that it's a skill set. It's a skill set that you need to learn, you need to buy that skill set. And ultimately if you don't know how to get to the next level, it's because you're missing a skillset so you're going to invest in mentors. So I worked out in those early days. Well, there's three things that I need to get really, really good at in order to build a seven figure practice. This is what I worked out. There was three key essential things and those three things were marketing. I needed to learn how to market. Two was systems. I needed to know how to get the right system set up. Attraction, conversion, retention. Okay, and then step number three was team. How do you recruit great people and how do you build the people and the people build the business. That's the key there, that last line. So if you are somebody that doesn't, you know, want to just be, have the old thing built around you, you've got to know how to build the people and the people will build the business. That's a skill set. How do you then attract great people? How do you motivate them? How do you onboard them properly? How do you keep them motivated? How do you progress them? Like how do you develop people? Everything really just comes back down to a skill set. And it's interesting because I look at our track record and you know, to Crack our first seven figures. So to crack our first million dollars took me about three and a half to four years. So like, took about three. Between three to four years to crack the first seven figures. Then last year in one of our offices, we went up by 2 million in the space of 12 months. So it's like, all right, you doubled the outcome in a quarter of the amount of time. And the only difference is the skill set that I have now relative to the skill set that I had then. So, you know, now as we're on the journey and we're like, okay, cool. How do you now scale to multiple eight figures? Okay, great. Well, guess what? I hire eight nine figure operators to lead me along the way of that. Because eight nine figure operators think differently. It's a different level of assessing the situation and a different level of skill set that you need. So, you know, the purpose of today that we really wanted to highlight for everyone is that it's intensity of focus. And so many people lose focus too quickly because they're not acquiring their skill sets. And then they go into, well, I found this side hustle. Or I'm doing this as well. I'm doing that. Every time I hear that, I'm like, oh, man, you're just leaving so, like, much juice in. In the orange or whatever it is that you're squeezing because you're just not squeezing it properly.
Right. Well, that's a. I think many times chiropractors, if we use the orange analogy, like you squeeze an orange, what should come out? Orange juice. Right. First of all, you squeeze the chiropractor, what should come out? Chiropractic. Right. So if you're asking yourself, well, when I get asked tough questions, do I revert back to, like, not philosophically deeply rooted chiropractic? I need to double down on my focus and my intention on how I'm learning chiropractic. And speaking chiropractic, if I squeeze my business, meaning, oh, I want my business to grow, or we could go to the next level, do I do that by adding more things or do I actually adjust more people and speak the chiropractic story in more places and grow in how many? Because the number one thing we can do in our practice is see more people and adjust more people and tell the chiropractic story, I believe. Right. So a lot of people are picking their head up, looking around, adding things in when they should be doubling down on the principal.
Yeah, exactly. Right. So, guys, if you're hearing this right now, wherever you are, you're in your car, you listen to this, maybe you're going for a walk. My question to you is it all starts off with clarity of vision. So my question to you is, what does 12 months from now look like for you? Where are you going with your business or your businesses? You've got to have a vision story where you could be able to speak for an hour uninterrupted, describing to us what success looks like 12 months from now. Okay? Because once you can do that, the only thing, the reason that you're not there yet at the moment is a skill set thing. So there's a skill set shortage somewhere. And the way that you get skills is you buy them. It's really that simple. You buy them through other people, through mentors, and you can buy them for as cheap as a book, which is $29. Somebody's life work condensed into a book. Their best knowledge, ideas. All right, and success principles for $29 in a book. But then be careful to also just not get into the habit of like being a book consumer where you just like always buying the next book. But you don't really do it in the right order because the other thing that's very important, and this is a lesson that I learned from one of my mentors recently, as recent as probably the last three months. This comes from someone who's a nine figure business operator. And what he said was this. In business, there is a million things almost that you could be doing right now to grow your practice. Okay? However, that doesn't necessarily mean that you should be doing them all. So what separates people that are successful from people that just spin their wheels really is sequencing. And sequencing means what is the order that you do things in? So it's like, all right, well, here are the million things that I can be doing. However, this is priority number one, two, three, in this order. And most people stuff up that sequence, they do not do it properly and they get distracted by things they think they should be doing because they're not being guided. And instead they're leaving all of this money on the table, quite frankly, because they're just not doing it in the right order. Like, if you had tried to do this school thing first and then you're like, oh, wow, I actually money. Now I need more time, freedom. So I'm going to go back and work on my practice more. Right? Like, it wouldn't work like that. And chiropractic wouldn't be better off because it wouldn't have the best version of you.
That's good. That's really good. Sequencing, so important.
Yeah, exactly. Right? So guys, that's why our message for you today. So if you enjoyed this, please do us a favor guys, add us onto our social. So on Instagram we take you through the behind the scenes, exactly how this all works. If you want more details about those three things that I chatted about, which is your marketing, your systems, okay. And then your team building and exactly how to put it together, send me a message or send Dr. Loner a message about this. Just saying, three systems. And I'll give you a tool that we use that helps us a lot around that. But Lana, any final questions?
Yeah. If you want to see the study, send me a DM on Instagram or Facebook and I will send you a copy of the study.
Love it.
Love it. Awesome.
Lena, thank you so much for all the work that you do for chiropractic and for all of us. And guys, this is a great lesson for all of us in here. Remember sequencing, remember the two step rule. Build a kick ass practice and then do whatever you want.
Love it.
See you next time.
Hey everyone, please listen in for this next bonus interview of one of our remarkable success partners. They all help us help more people find the benefits of chiropractic. So listen on.
Hey everyone, welcome to the success partner. So we've got Sam oh from Australia and talking all things it and X rays. So do you want to introduce yourself? Sam.
G' day guys. Sam here from Medicloud. Thanks for the introduction. Yeah, we're based in Australia. We dabble a little bit in New Zealand as well and business is growing so happy days. As you said, we specialize in the technology space. So IT and X ray systems, our bread and butter has always been X ray systems. That's where we started out from my garage and we noticed that the clinics needed a lot of help with the IT side. So having that background I'm like let's, let's give them that help that they need. Let's give them that nurturing that they need.
Yeah. And I know you started in your garage and but you've grown so much. You're looking after people, a lot of people in Australia and you don't just dabble in New Zealand, you're heading into New Zealand and through Asia as well, aren't you?
Correct, correct. So you know, we are in the process of finalizing a company registration in New Zealand so we can start giving the same quality products, quality service to the profession over in New Zealand, north of south island. And then we'll just continue growing in that. In that space.
Amazing. So speaking of that, what are the sort of problems that you solve for our listeners? What are the sort of things. I know it's IT and X ray, but can you be more specific in that?
Yeah, absolutely. I mean, there's a couple of different approaches we take. So there might be an existing clinic that's having challenges and issues, or there might be a new startup clinic so that they're entering the market space with setting up a new practice. If I start on the entry side of the equation, we kind of look at the clinic that's getting set up or wanting to be set up from the very, very early days and we try and gauge an understanding of what do they want to achieve. Are they going to be a single clinic or a multi location clinic? And then we provide information and access to resources on how they can go about down that path. So everything from the technology space to we become their cto. I know it's very important to have the C pillars in any organization. So we become their point of contact as their chief technology officer. We start with, let's get the basics underway. The Internet. What sort of Internet can we get access to at that location? Getting that. Set up the phones. How do you want your phones to work? We find a lot of startups, you know, one of the pain points is they don't know where to go, they don't know what to do. They'll start using their personal mobile phone, they'll start registering a random number to use for the clinic. And that doesn't always work in their best interest, especially long term. You start growing that business, you don't have that infrastructure set up correctly to begin with. All of a sudden everyone's ringing on your mobile phone rather than a designated phone that you can still answer from your mobile phone and so forth. That's the, that's, that's the primary infrastructure side.
So just on that, so that you're talking about the launch stage of practice. So this is people who are starting a practice.
Absolutely.
It's begin with the end in mind. One of the seven habits of highly effective people begin with the end in mind.
Correct.
So getting the, getting the infrastructure there at the start will actually enable them to grow rather than trying to refigure it down the track where it just creates all awkwardness. That's what you're saying in the launch.
Absolutely. And that can cause a lot of disruption to a clinic that's already halfway through its life cycle. So we try and get a good Understanding where do you want to be, where do you want to go, what's your plans for 12 months, 24 months and maybe five years down the track. And then we try and come up with a solution that's cost effective today, but allows that future proofing of growing the business in the future, growing to a larger clinic or going to a group of clinics. So that's where we really focus on in the launch stage of a clinic.
So getting it right in launch so that they can build effectively without having to reconfigure things. So cost effective through launch. So it's not going to take much dollars there.
Correct.
There are costs involved, but then through build and scale, you can take that system and add to it rather than having to reinvent it and keep on getting new systems.
Absolutely, absolutely. And everything's always thought out and designed in, in a strategic manner. And, and we make sure we know where you can cut costs and cut corners in the technology space. And we know the items that you kind of go, no, we really can't afford to cut corners in this particular aspect of the launch of a clinic or the startup of a clinic. So we hammer that in to the clinic and we go, let's figure out a way to budget for this accordingly. Let's help you focus on the core important items and then let's see how we can save your costs on other components within the clinic. So we're here to be guided by you, but at the same time we take a very strong ownership of what you're doing. So we become part of your business, we end up becoming your business partner in a so to speak, kind of way. Yeah.
And that's the IT side. Can you talk a bit more about the problems you solve with X ray as well?
Yeah. So the beautiful thing about Australia is that the chiropractors can tap into what we call Medicare here through third party teleradiology companies. Now, so people understand this, when you want to tap into Medicare, Medicare requires two items, the procurement of an X ray. So someone taking the X ray and the reporting of the X ray by a radiologist. So as a chiropractor, you would put on the hat of a radiographer, you're taking the X ray and then a radiologist reports on it. The combination of the two then allows you to have access to Medicare. I mean, look, there is a specialized company or group of companies that handles that side of it, so you would need to reach out to them. But we know all the fundamentals that's required to get that up and running from our side of the equation for the clinic, in the best interest of the clinic. And then we look at the most cost effective way to get that into place for any clinic that wants to start taking X rays. And you know, I had a discussion this morning, the clinic has grown substantially and they're very, very tight on space. So we've come up with a solution that's going to allow us to fit an X ray machine effectively into a closet. So, you know, we can request certain solutions from the manufacturer to say, I'm going to fit this into a tiny little room, it's not going to be a standard fit out and we need this to be done in the most cost effective way so it becomes a win win for, you know, for the clinic and their patients and future patient outcomes.
Awesome. So you problem solve and you, you get, you know, the outcome you want to achieve and you, you work as a chief technology officer to help them achieve that.
Absolutely.
Think outside the square, which is amazing.
We, we do and look, we try and make sure the clinic passes on the headaches of dealing with builders, construction people, electricians, data cablers over to us. We liaise with them. We know again, we know what's a cost effective way of doing certain things. And the most simplest example I'm going to give in this scenario is you require an operator shield to stand behind when taking X rays. And the legislation says you need to be able to see the patient when you're taking their X ray. The legislation doesn't say how you need to see them taking the X ray, it just says you need to see them when you're taking their X ray. Now, as you can imagine, you're taking a thoracic AP series. You might want them to breathe out. So you get through that AP correctly, you're getting to see the spine. And what we've done is the lead windows, they're quite expensive, so we've asked the manufacturer to incorporate a camera directly into the X ray collimator. So the collimator is always going to be facing the patient and if the camera's there, you're going to be able to see the patient from the computer screen when you're taking the X rays. So we've eliminated the entire need of having a lead window, which 2, $3,000 saving for the clinic on the spot. And guess what, we're not charging any extra for having that webcam in a nutshell built into the X ray machine.
Amazing.
I never even heard of that. That's amazing.
Yeah.
So talking of the dollars. What sort of ROI can the CEO expect from investing in your services as Chief Technology Officer?
That's a double edged sword. So you've got your instant roi, which is what you would get from just taking X rays. We're not talking about long term retention of the patient, we're talking purely about taking X rays. I would generally say to someone, if they're not going to take 5 to 7x rays a week, then it is not worth their while unless they want to, you know, have, have that ability to do in house X rays. Right. If you are doing between five and seven return on investment, probably two years. If you're doing 10 patients a week, 10 new X ray patients a week and you're doing a full spinal series, you can get a return on investment rather quickly within 12 months. That'll cover the cost of your build of the X ray room, the lead shielding, your paperwork and the cost of the equipment delivery and installation. So you can really, really.
So you're talking return of investment, not just return on investment. So you're get the money you put in backs, that's return of the investment.
Correct.
In a short space of time if someone's having more than 10x rays a week.
Absolutely, yeah, absolutely. It's not rocket science. It's very straightforward, it's very simple. It's, and again it boils down to the clinic having good procedures and processes in place. As a chiropractic patient myself, I've got, you know, titanium cages in my neck, I've got a fused lumbar spine. So I, realistically, if I was to see a, a chiropractor for the first time, knowing what I know about my own spine, it won't actually, I, I want them to X ray me. I don't want them to touch me without, without that X rays. So, you know, so that's, there's a massive clinical benefit to having the X rays in the clinic and there's again, there's a lot of tips and tricks. We, we educate the clinics on when we do install an X ray system, on how to use the system correctly, how to get the most value out of that system, how to save time when using the system. I know for a fact a lot of our clinics with our particular X ray system and the way we've designed and implemented it, you should be able to do a full spinal series. So that's a set of 5-6x rays within under two minutes.
So you've got the, you've got the logistics down. So considering what's important next, how do you, and you've talked a little bit about this, helping doctors be prepared to succeed in the future, that's really around being the chief technology officer and thinking ahead of what they're thinking, right? That's how you're doing that.
Absolutely. So, and look, we leverage off our existing clientele base. We see what works, what doesn't work, who's doing things a particular way, what's working for them, what's not working for them. And we, we gather that knowledge and without disclosing information about someone el or on someone else's intellectual property, we review constantly and revise constantly what's working out there. And we look at the changes in technology with the introduction of AI and new practice management systems and everything along the way. And we go, how can we allow these clinics to integrate into these systems moving forward? How can we improve the patient workflow? How can we streamline a clinic's ability to work as efficiently as possible and free up the time for not just the chiropractor, but the ca, you know, and a very simple example of that is we've got a lot of clients using practice management software called Cliniko and a lot of these cloud systems. They don't have too much capabilities of working with internal products because they're all cloud based. They don't integrate with any products internally. So we've taken it up on ourselves to go, all right, they're taking X rays. How do we get these X rays into Cliniko? Automatically. And we wrote special, special code to do that. So now we've got a code that automatically sends the images straight into the practice management software. Spinalogic's already got that capability in there. We didn't have to write anything special, but we've done that for a majority of our clients that use Cliniko. Then we've taken it one step further and we're like, well, in a radiology environment, which we look after radiology centers, the front desk management system or the clinic management system sends the patient details into the X ray machine so they don't have to walk to the X ray machine, type in the details. And we've done that as well. So now it's going in both directions.
Then the IT background, you're, you're actually thinking ahead and making sure that it's as easy as possible for your clients, basically, isn't it?
Absolutely. And we've got the check in module. You know, we've, we've come to enough TRP sessions to hear about check in Checkout. We're like hey great idea, let's, let's put a check in module into Cliniko and now that we've got that underlying code in place, we can start reaching out to you know, Prac Suite and other cloud based providers and say to them guys, we're able to do this for your software. It'll add value to your product but ultimately it'll add value to the clinics that use these products. So that's the long road for our business but ultimately it's about providing something back to the profession.
Yeah, amazing. So what's the best way for the listeners to learn more about your services, get in contact with you, take the next step?
Look, something that we've kick started mid last year and it wasn't purely for SEO purposes was our blog. So we've created the on our website www.mediccloud.com you're going to spell it right. Medic cloud.com we've got a blog section, we've called it the Medicloud Hub. Go in there, there's a lot of training videos, there's a lot of information there on things you can do within your clinic, within your X ray systems. You know, whether you're buying a secondhand X ray machine from, from Facebook or whatever might be the case, we there providing you guys a whole bunch of resources and information and all our contact information is on our website as well. So you can quite easily reach out to us directly from our website whether it's for our 1 300-658-103 number or our email address or the contact form on the web page.
Yeah, so really go to the website. So thank you so much Sam. What a great service you provide through Australasia at this point. But I can see where your vision is going so a great, great success.
