EP 162 WTH?!?: The Vibrational Nature of Water with Michael Hobson

Michael Hobson explains how water's structure affects health, covering exclusion-zone water, coherent domains that store vibrational information, and silica's role in bone health. He discusses deuterium-depleted water and Queen Springs, a naturally silica-rich spring water designed for optimal hydration.

Welcome back, Everybody. I am Dr. Greg Eckel, and this is what the health and we are talking today about the role of water and silica in longevity. My guest, Michael Hopson is the founder of a Queen Springs, and he spent his life studying frequencies, which I'm very excited to get into, first as a mathematician, then as an economics professor and corporate business consultant. Through his several businesses in the music industry, at the forefront of both vinyl movement and live recording industries. Michael's interest in frequencies eventually brought him to water, which is where we're going to begin our conversation today. Welcome aboard, Michael.
Oh, Greg, it's such a pleasure to be here with you today. Thanks.
Well, so, I mean, all of those things are very fascinating and I'm hoping we can actually even touch on the vinyl and the live music, because I love both of those things. But today, in particular, even more than those, we love water. And you have a, an intimate relationship with water and in particular in one area of the country. And I'm wondering if you want to share that story on how that diverse background brought you to water.
Yeah, thanks. I think if you. I think this is true of all of us. If we look back at some point and we say to ourselves, how does this all fit together? There's an aha moment. And for me it was that everything vibrates. And once I recognized that everything vibrates and that in characterization of vibration is the notion of frequency and phase, a number of other related topics that I came across this saying, actually a quote from Nikola Tesla, which I'm sure people have told you before, which is if you want to understand the universe, think in terms of frequency, vibration and energy. And I think I've screwed up the, the order, but it really doesn't matter because they're all related, right? And so my background has prepared me to find my way through the music business and, and its relationship and our relationship, really, which is what's interesting to water, because think about this, that right now in this segment, we are, I could say that we are water speaking to water. I think most of your listeners know that by volume, human beings are about 70% water as adults, more than that as children, and less than that actually, when we're elderly and molecularly, we're 99.999% water. So water is a crucial part of life. In fact, I would say it is the source of life.
I love it. I mean, even thinking through around the cells in the exclusionary zone, water is a fascinating molecule in and of itself. And so really, how did you get. Now you found a spring.
You found a spring.
How did you come to find this spring?
I didn't find it. It found me. That's really the story that I tell. And I mean it wholeheartedly. That for me, and I don't. I think other people find this to be true as well. That when you get to a point where you recognize that there is a reason that you're here and you embrace that reason, that you then become guided and that things find you as as opposed to you finding them or you're pointed in a direction, you know, I tell people all the time that, you know, there I. I'm surrounded by books and I'll just say to people that I've not read every single book that's in the background here. There's a lot more than that, but they are here for me to draw upon when needed. And what I mean by that is when I ask for an answer for something, I'm guided to a book. Yeah, unknowingly. And it's happened so many times, I chuckle at it now, you know, I. I walk up and pick up a book and I open it to the page that has the piece of information that I need. So I love that.
I love that. Yeah, it is. It really can work that way. You know, I like to say that the age of Zizyphus is over. We don't need to push the rock up the hill anymore. We could actually have a lot of grace and ease and flow in allowing these things just to happen.
Yes, absolutely.
So I'm in full on agreement with you there. And it is that time and more and more people are waking up to that possibility. And, you know, with you speaking your truth and into that of, you know, this is just what is happening for me, and allowing it, like that's a big part is just receiving it, which is awesome. So not all water is created equal, is it?
I think that's a very true statement. And for the longest time, people have thought that water was just, you know, atomically an oxygen bound to two hydrogen atoms. And, you know, that's about it. And as time has gone on, specifically with people like Gerald Pollock, whose book Seen before the Fourth Phase of Water. Jerry's a good friend of mine and is one of those guidance mechanisms that I've used over time to find my way to where I'm at now. And yeah, so I think what happens is that water has this miraculous ability to change its structure. And in particular, it has an ability to change its structure around surfaces, what's called interfacial water. And so, aside from the wonders that it does in the human body, which I'll talk about in just a second, it's probably the reason why boats float.
Mm.
Okay. So the water around the hull of a boat is not the same as the water 5, 10, or 15 or 100ft below that. So something special happens at interfaces and in particular in the body. In the human body, around macromolecules inside the cells, it forms a layer, which Pollock has coined an exclusion zone layer, or a layer of structure, a crystalline layer that allows macromolecules, microtubules, as an example, to be able to communicate electrically and photonically with other micromolecules in the cell and between cells as well. So you can think of water as changing into or changing its structure to a crystalline one that allows for life effectively. Okay. And so that, obviously, is water that's very different from, you know, the water in the tap or even the water in a bottle and so forth, which we could refer to as bulk water. And so I think what that illustrates is that water can take on this structure, and if people have seen or investigated at all some of the work of Dr. Emoto, showing that water, when presented with a piece of music or words or even a symbol, can take on characteristics that are directly related to that vibratory information. Right. So if you think of water as having memory, as having the ability to change its structure and to hold information, then you start to think of, oh, my goodness. And this comes back to what you talked about. What's the difference between water that comes straight out of a spring and municipal water? Well, municipal water's been in an environment that it's probably absorbed a lot of patterns that may be somewhat chaotic. Right. And so the. The water molecule itself may be the same. It may be slightly different in terms of the bond angles of the hydrogens. However, that structure happens to develop what are referred to as coherent domains that act as crystalline structures within the water that can actually hold standing waves and patterns. And that's what I think happens with the Moto's photos, is that you're uncovering that pattern that's been created in the structure of water. So that's a long answer to your question about all waters aren't created equal. It depends on what they've been exposed to and where they come from.
So just to carry on that thought process a bit on the. The carrying capacity of water, that it's pretty unique that way.
It is, absolutely.
And what I had seen some research out of Germany, like The early logging industry would only log trees under a full moon because the moonlight created a stronger buoyancy at that interface that the logs actually floated better. That was really fascinating. Early logging component was utilizing some of these principles.
Yes, absolutely. What. And water is affected by, you know, cosmic radiation as well, which is exactly what you're talking about.
So and when, when you're talking about frequencies, what kind of frequencies are you talking about? Of. And how does water. Is there some research on that or where are we getting that information?
Yeah, I think, I think, you know, this concept of coherent domains, which was pioneered by a famous physicist who's passed now a guy, an Italian guy called Emilio del Giudice, right. Who was a colleague of, of Gerald Pollock's as well, he did a lot of work together, is the concept of coherent domains that water, under certain circumstances, right. Orders itself in a way that it can hold that vibratory information that even that we speak, by the way. And when you start to think about the water in our body as being structured and it. And us acting in many ways as a semiconductor. Right. With silica being a component of that. Right. So one of the things to recognize is, and it's true, people don't know this, but in addition to the elderly being more or less dehydrated, right. So that's part of the reason why they have wrinkles in their skin and and so forth, is that they also have a lower silica content. Right. And so if silica is important in terms of bones and teeth and hair and our extracellular matrix and blood flow and cardiovascular health and binding to aluminum to detoxify us of aluminum toxicity starts to make some sense why we see a lot of the chronic inflammatory diseases which we talked about earlier occurring in old age, it's the accumulation, for example of, of toxins, including aluminum. Don't have enough silica to bind to that to detoxify. And so, you know, there we go.
Speaking of that, a bit silica rich water, what. What is that?
So silica, for people that don't know is, is basically silica dioxide. Silicon is the, actually is, is, is the element in the periodic table. But like hydrogen, we don't often find it on its own. In fact, I like to call silicon and hydrogen lonely bachelors, they like to pair up with, with something of the opposite sex, which is often oxygen. And so one thing to note. Let me just back up a minute. The number one element in the earth's crust is oxygen. Number two, silica. Number three, aluminum. Okay? So, so silica binds to oxygen to make silica dioxide. And also silica binds to aluminum. And as a way of us detoxing as human beings and animals, we excrete it by urine and sweat. Plants actually sequester aluminum that they absorb from the soil with silica to keep them from becoming inflamed as well. Yeah, interesting. Yeah.
The I. When I hear silica, I think about horsetail a lot there. It's a very silica rich.
Absolutely.
How does do tum depleted water fit this picture?
Yeah. So this is an interesting subject and I would suggest to you that it falls into the same area as ph. Right. Okay. I don't mean that they're related.
Yeah.
In. In fact, they. According to the research, they are. But not in. Not directly in the way you think. What I mean by that is that if you ask someone, you know, should I be drinking water that is alkaline? Right. So above pH7? And the answer is, well, maybe it's not clear, but there's a lot of effort put into that world of alkaline water and so forth. And we all know, you know, the different machines that make, you know, that type of water, and there's a lot of water that they add minerals to to make it alkaline in nature. And they sell that in the grocery store is high alkaline water. And I would just say to people, be careful because if more alkaline is better than, you know, drain cleaner is alkaline 14.5, but we should probably not drink that. So, you know, make it a little easy. But back to your question about deuterium. So deuterium, it turns out, is. Well, it's thought to be related to hydrogen, so that it's a little heavier. Right. It's deuterium in water is. Makes heavy water. So the idea is that the, the theory goes that there are these little rotors with shafts inside of our cells and that hydrogen that is freed up from the carbohydrates that we process in our body or fats or whatever, that, that those hydrogen atoms actually are molecules, H2s are what spin these little rotors. And that deuterium is. Got an extra neutron and so it's bigger and it jams up the rotors. And so the, the microtubules are not able to make. Or the. Sorry, are not. We're not able to make energy as sufficiently in the cells. That's the theory. Okay. I'm just, I'm explaining. I'm not advocating it. Yes. So the idea is that if that's the case, then you should take the deuterium out. Or if you drink deuterium depleted water, that you'll have more energy. That's the way that logic goes. Here's the problem. I've never seen those rotors and shafts inside of a cell, and I suspect you haven't. And even people that have this theory haven't any evidence of that as well. I'm not disputing it in any way, but you asked the question, so I've explained it. Yeah, way. Right. So it turns out that a Queen Springs water is naturally deuterium depleted. Right. Relative to seawater, which is what everything is gauged off of. I think if it's beneficial, then great, we have that. If it's beneficial to drink alkaline water, great, because we have that. I personally believe that the water that comes from this sacred spring in southern Idaho, not terribly far from you, is a source of primary water where primary water is water that's made in the earth's crust, that's never been in the hydrologic cycle. Hydrocarbons in geothermic areas get dissociated and the hydrogen becomes a free agent or a bachelor again. And what does it find? Oxygen in that environment makes steam. The steam makes its way through the earth's crust and it comes out of the ground at 140 degrees, having accumulated trace minerals, including silica. Right? Yes, that's the story of how this happens. But more importantly than that, we bottle and bag it at the source. And so it's pristine in the following sense. It has not had the influence of the environment. It has been around chaotic people or people with a lot of negative thoughts and so forth, all of which can influence water. And by the way, that's the mechanism by way by which we interchange with each other is through the electromagnetic output of our body, mainly from our face, by the way.
Ah, really?
Yeah. And that's, you know, when we look somebody in the eye. Yeah, the eyes. It's also the face that's projecting. And why do we get red when we're embarrassed? Or should I say when we have an orgasm? Right. Yeah. It's an expression of. Of our true inner self.
Ah, the. You know, I always thought of when you think about municipal water and most bodies of water have contamination with pharmaceutical medications now. Right. Because so many people are on them, they're urinating them out and the plants don't clean them out of the water. So it is. And the whole bioenergetic component of this is pristine. I like that word. Primary water that has never been in the atmosphere. So it's. It is coming from literally from source and it hasn't been imprinted.
That's cool.
Do you see anything with like your packaging or do you have to shield it in transportation or is there any thought around that?
No, I'm not sure that you can actually shield.
Yeah, yeah. I was just curious if that was something that you guys have tuned into or if there is some thought there. It just came up because, you know, you can take this to. I call it fractal fractalization. There's multiple levels that we can kind of jump in there. That's phenomenal.
I think, I think there's a point at which just to. To continue on this.
Yes.
Municipal waterfront.
Yeah.
I think what we're going to find, and this is a bit of a prediction, is that elements themselves are vibratory patterns that are stable. And if we think about supplements as an example, those are molecules that are stable and they have a vibratory pattern. And so what's really happening with supplements and drugs for that matter, in my opinion, is that they're taken into the body and they have their vibratory pattern. And that vibratory pattern may be sympathetic with some need in the body or it may not be. And if it's not, it means there's some side effects. Right, right, right. And so back to the municipal waterfront. If that's the case, then I think the future holds. Purification, if you will, of water. Yep. Is will come from vibration. It'll come from light. Yeah. Treatments that involve light. Look, we already treat water with uv.
Yeah.
As a disinfectant. And once we learn how to transmute. Yeah, okay. And, and by the way, this is a bit along the lines of noise canceling. Right. For people that want to think about this, think about, you know, putting on a set of noise canceling headphones. What happens, you're then shielded in some ways from the sound, which is a vibration. It is light in the ambient environment.
You know what? I love it. You know, the first recommendation I have had for over 20 years, the majority of patients that I see, first thing is water hydration.
Yeah.
Do you have any guidelines as far as I saw on your Instagram account, a little document from Harvard and some of their research on by age and ounces. Fluid ounces to drink every day. You know, there's always this controversy. Where did the eight glasses of water a day come from? Or you know, Botman Jolly wrote the body's many cries of water and you know, actually produce some pretty good. I mean, While case studies out of prison treating people with water, the guidelines actually are pretty good for half your body weight in ounces. Tends to, tends to work well for folks. I'm wondering if you've. You've come across anything like that in your studies.
You know, I used to do exactly that. I used to have an app that, you know, meter and told me when to drink water. And it was effectively based on half your body weight. Yeah. And I've kind of revised that now, I think. And by the way, it depends on the type of water you drink. Sure. Another issue, and I've got unfortunate news for people that it appears as though reverse osmosis water, which people think of as making water very pristine. And it does because it takes a lot of the mineral content out, which may or may not be a good thing. Right. Is that it actually is not as easily absorbed into the cells and the tissue. And so you end up drinking a bunch of water and urinating it out. So that really isn't all that helpful. Right. So water, it needs to be. And we could talk a little bit more about that. I've revised that to probably. It depends more on the environment that you're in. Right. So if you're in the desert or you exercise a lot or you do a lot of saunas, which I think are really good for other reasons. We could talk about if we had longer or maybe if I come back we can talk about those.
Yeah.
Is. Is I think as important. So rough rule of thumb now is probably a liter minimum. Probably a couple of liters on average. And then more than that depending on. On the. On the circumstances. The environment. Yeah. So that's what I would say. Awesome.
Thank you for that. We definitely. We. We have so much more to talk about. I'm wondering. There's one piece of this puzzle while you're talk. The most common elements on Earth. And there, there was one component that piqued my interest is what is the Aluminum Age and why do we want to know about that?
Well, Dr. Exley has, has characterized this in a book called the Aluminum Age. And it's really about all the sources of aluminum around us, even in food, for example, and in water and in the environment. Let us never forget that we are in an environment that's filled with all sorts of particulate matter. Right. Not the least of which is pollution, but it includes all of the effluents from all of the manufacturing and so forth. And we breathe all that in. Right. We cook in aluminum pans and there's just a Lot of aluminum that comes into our, into our body and if we don't have enough silica to bind to that. So where does silica come from? Well, it's in plants mainly. So if you eat a lot of plants and, and, and vegetables and fruit now you have a lot of source of natural silica, which is bioavailable, not as bioavailable as in water. So I, I would urge people to eat, you know, which is what everybody knows already, to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and to drink water that has a high silica content in it.
Awesome.
Thank you. To help ward off or even, I think, reverse the circumstances around chronic inflammatory diseases, which we've already mentioned, and we see that everywhere.
It is kind of the pat answer. I always joke with folks of eat your vegetables and prescribing that as the naturopathic doctor on the zoom line. And, and this is another case in point as to why that's beneficial for you. Michael is so fascinating. So much more to talk about. I'm wondering on today's show, we're going to put in the show notes how to connect, how to actually get the water from you as well. Yeah, and we'll, we'll get that going. And I think we have an offer.
For your folks as well, right?
Yes, yes.
They come to our website, which is a queen Springs, A Q U E N E springs dot com. By the way, a queen means peace and tranquility.
Lovely.
So during checkout, if you put. And I think it's WTH. Is that right? Yeah.
What the health.
You know, WTH 10. The number 10. All right, 10 discount.
So awesome.
Check out with that.
Awesome. Any last closing words for our viewers and listeners?
Yeah. I want to tease people with something that hopefully will have you invite me back to give more details on it. So I've already set the stage for water being able to hold patterns, being able to hold information, be able. Being able to hold intention. So imagine a situation where you can take a glass of water and you can have a thought, a beautiful thought, a loving thought, and you can pass that thought to your heart, and then from your heart you can speak that. Because what is speech? What is, what are words? What is when we speak it is a vibratory version of our thoughts or our intentions. And if that water can then hold that intention, that vibratory pattern, you can actually drink that and communicate directly with your cells and with your body. And you can use that to manifest, you can use it to heal.
Ah, I love it. More love in the world. Michael hobson, the Queen Springs thank you so much for coming on. What the Health folks, if you like today's show, please go out there, give us a five star review and give some comments as to what you took home from this interview and share it because it can change a life. That's where it starts. It happens from here on out. So thanks for tuning in. We'll see you all soon. Thank you, Michael.
