Stress can really sneak up on us this time of year. However, one thing that keeps me grounded and a bit less stressed is being smart and thoughtful about my food choices, eating foods that can help support my immune system, gut and overall mood. One of my favorite smart foods that I can sneak in my meals throughout my day is HDB sprout powder. It's 100% sprouted Himalayan Tartary buckwheat and has a rich nutrient profile including antioxidants that help fight oxidative stress at the cellular level. By supercharging cell health, HDB sprout powder balance out stress hormones and build resilience in the immune system. It also plays a huge role in bacterial gut diversity which can positively affect your overall mood. One of my favorite ways to eat it is in this vegan cheesy topping. The serving size is 4 tablespoons. You can sprinkle it on some toast, use it in a pesto like a pesto pasta salad, or munch on it with some popcorn while watching a movie with your cats. Of course.
