This is a YouTube video titled "Big Bold Health CGM Study 2020 - Day 6" containing a conversation recorded on January 18, 2021, between Speaker A and Jeffrey Bland, PHD. They discuss the results of a continuous glucose monitoring experiment involving white bread, Himalayan tartery buckwheat flour, and HTB shake mix, focusing on the impact on glucose response.
Chapters
Well, here we are, day six of our continuous glucose monitoring experiment. And you recall we started out with white bread. Then we went from white bread to the Himalayan tartery buckwheat flour. And then we went to the HTB shake mix. And today we actually combined the two of these together to see what impact putting the flour together with the shake mix would have on the glucose response. And it, it was really interesting and I want to share the data with you because I think we're learning something quite interesting.
So you'll see the peak of Everest Mountain there with the white bread. That clearly was a big glucose response spike. And then when we did the HTB shake mix, you see that we had a much attenuated, a smaller glycemic response, as you might expect. But then when we added the shakes mix and the flour together, look what happened. It broadened and flattened it even more, once again showing the power of this HCV flower to really smooth the glucose response and lower the glycemic load.
So I.
Think this has been a very, very interesting experiment for us so far. So we're pushing on.
You know, we.
Have another week to go, but I think so far we're.
