Well, you all know I've been very excited over the last many, many months about the Clinicians of the Month interviews that we've been doing for Functional Medicine Update and for March 2011, boy, do we have a treat. I just am very fortunate to have Dr. Stephen Gundry with me today, who is going to be our March interview. And I think when you have a chance to hear Dr. Gundry and his approach towards the management of chronic degenerative disease, from his years of experience as a cardiothoracic surgeon and now moving into this field, you're going to be extraordinarily just amazed. Steve, maybe you want to tell us briefly about what the listener might expect to hear.
Well, you're going to hear a heart surgeon tell you how to get rid of heart disease without operations. I'm going to tell you how to get rid of diabetes, arthritis, autoimmune diseases. And I'm going to tickle your fancy that perhaps cancer is a lot more beatable than we think with dietary and nutritional changes and supplements. It's an exciting area. I wouldn't have believed 10 years ago that I had gone from a chairman of the department of surgery to now teaching people how to avoid me and to take control of their lives through food and nutrition and supplements. But it's an exciting time.
And I think you're going to also want to read Dr. Gundry's book, Dr. Gundry's Diet Evolution, which really goes into the news to use on this. But we'll look forward to sharing with you in March of 2011. This discussion.
