I'm a nutritional biochemist, Dr. Jeffrey Bland, and you know, everybody has this inflammation thing, I think, kind of wrong. Why would I say that? Well, certainly inflammation is important, but it's a mixed bag. It's a two-edged sword. It has positive benefits and it's got negative benefits. It's when it's imbalanced that it's really a problem. And what we see is this kind of fugitive inflammation, this chronic inflammation, this simmering pot inflammation Sometimes called inflammaging, associated with aging. But inflammation in and of itself is very important because it helps to get rid of damaged tissue. It helps to regenerate the body. It helps to restore. So you want it to be functionally capable of being resilient. It's not getting rid of inflammation. In fact, you know what happens when you completely wash out the inflammation process? You end up with opportunistic infections because the body can't defend itself. Right. So here we go. We need to tell the story right. How do you retain, maintain, and support immune resilience so that you don't have a fugitive immune system, you have a controlled immune system? That's the story.
