I want to thank Dr. Terry Wahls so much for the extraordinary book that she's written about her own experience, the Wahls Protocol, which really describes a functional medicine systems biology approach to very complex neurological disorders which can be applied not just to Dr. Wahls herself, but to so many other people. And in fact, that model is directly related to what we are talking about in my new book, the Disease Delusion, which underpins and describes this whole functional medicine systems biology approach to health care. I think that the Wahls Protocol book, in conjunction with the Disease Delusion, provides a manifesto for a new health care paradigm that allows us to actually fight back against this rising tide of chronic illness and find solutions that are managing the cause, not just the effects of these conditions. It's really a privilege to work with Dr. Wahls and to kind of collaborate as to how we're raising the bar of understanding of this new opportunity that people will have to rid themselves of the burden of chronic disease.
