Hi, I'm Dr. Jeff Bland. And what about the age of our immune system? Well, you might say, well, it's the same as my age and birthdays? No, it's not necessarily. You can have an immune system that's younger than your age and birthdays or older. You want it to be as young as possible because that's related to long good health. Therefore, how do we make that happen? Really? There's three things. Number one, eat the right things. We like diets that are high in polyphenols, the diets of the rainbow that are colored in vegetable and fruit products. Secondly, we like to consider sleep and rest very important for rejuvenation of our immune system. And third activity, don't just sit there. Do something, move around, be active. All these three things help to rejuvenate and lower the age of our immune system.
