You're busy all day, but you feel like you got nothing done. It's so frustrating, the whole day slipping through your fingers. Hi, I'm Dr. Juna Bobby MD, Harvard-trained educator, and I've been there. And here are the 3 things I do to take control of the day. Step 1: Realize it's not a character flaw because your brains are in open-loop mode because there's no clear starting point or action items. Step 2: Use brain talk so you don't trigger the amygdala, because when the brain goes into fight, flight, or freeze mode, that's when the drama starts. So instead of saying, why aren't you doing this or that, say, it looks like our brains don't know where to start. Step 3: Set a timer for 10 to 20 10 minutes and organize the day on paper. 3 priority things to get done, and you can even schedule in free time. Now instead of "where did the time go?" it becomes "we actually moved forward." That's the O for Organize in the Relax to Store method. Organizing time creates focus in the brain and calm in the house. DM me @braintalk for your cheat sheet.
