A mom-doctor turned a parenting card product into a million-dollar business. She started with a $2,500 Kickstarter goal, raised over $10,000, then scaled it on Amazon to seven figures.
'cause you made over a million dollars, right? Just selling these cards on Amazon. So maybe you can walk us through that amazing journey.
I didn't know Kickstarter actually. I didn't even know it existed. And somehow I might have— somebody told me, or I came across some article that I was like, oh, there's such thing as crowdfunding. I think my goal was like $2,500 and I ended up doing over like $10,000.
4 times that. That's awesome.
Yeah, yeah. Yes, I really would encourage people to look into Kickstarter because one thing that surprised me is that it's not just domestic funders, and these are early adopters who are interested. It was really Kickstarter that helped me to build a global footprint because organically, you know, I think some of the backers on Kickstarter, you know, people who fund your project, they are just intrinsically interested in new technology or methods of learning, doing things. And they are highly supportive as well.
