12 Noon Teaching | Day 7 or 21 Days of Action | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr.

Dr. Mike Woods teaches that jealousy, envy, and greed fuel conflict, and that contentment with God's provision breaks the cycle. He grounds the message in 1 Timothy 6:6 and calls listeners to fast, tithe faithfully, and live in humility.

Good afternoon, saints. God bless your hearts. I pray you're well. This is the day the Lord has made, and we rejoice and we're glad in it. Uh, this is day 7, guys, of our 21 Days of Action, our 21 days of fasting, uh, plus prayer. We're super excited, uh, about what's happening. These 7 days, uh, in have already been a tremendous blessing to me, and I pray, uh, that you have been blessed by this fast as well. Um, today I'm looking forward to teaching. I'm looking forward to sharing with you I believe there is a word from the Lord. Uh, do me a kind favor, guys, as you're coming in, I need you to go ahead and share this. Glory to God! Please share, please share. Someone needs this word. Glory to the name of God. So please share it. Uh, good afternoon, Kiara and Tanya. Good to see you guys here. You guys share, share, share. Glory to God. We're looking for God to minister to us in a tremendous way today. Uh, so please let's share, let's share, let's get everybody we can involved. God is so good. He's worthy to be praised. He's worthy to be glorified. Uh, he's worthy to be magnified. There is no God like us, man. I'm telling you, he's just— he's perfectly, absolutely wise. What I'm gonna do, guys, is go ahead and play, uh, the series opener for Taking Action Against Strife, because that's what we're teaching. Uh, we're still in this vein, so So we're going to play that, then we're going to come back, we'll pray and jump right into this word. Y'all keep sharing this, comment below, let us know you're here, say hello. Uh, God bless you all. In a world filled with conflict and division, where strife threatens to tear us apart We are called to a higher purpose, a greater destiny, to advance the kingdom of God and superimpose heaven on earth. Together, we explore the wisdom of God, the wisdom of His word, and we discover a pathway to fulfillment, to peace, to harmony, and unity. Join us for our new teaching series, Taking Action Against Strife, as we seek to bring peace and understanding to our world and to our lives. Together, we can make a difference. Well, praise the Lord again and welcome everybody once again. We're going to jump right into this, man. I really, um, am excited about teaching this today because, you know, we've covered a few great things, uh, that I believe are very helpful. We've been talking about jealousy, envy, and greed and how those spirits are uh, the driving elements behind the spirit of strife or conflict. And we've discovered some very interesting things about those. If you've missed, uh, any of these messages, I want to encourage you guys to go back, praise God, and watch the other messages that we taught last week. We taught 4 messages last week, uh, that's kind of getting us into the meat of where we're getting ready to go now. Uh, I pray that everybody's having a great day. I pray that this Monday again will be a Miracle Monday. 5 o'clock prayer was great. Perhaps you're just joining us. If you are live or by replay, do me a kind favor, family. I need you to share this. This is so very important. So I need you to share, share, share. Sharing is caring. Glory to God. It's godly. Praise the name of God. So please share this encounter with others. Uh, but today I want— if I put a subject on this, we're still— again, this, this message is still part of our Strife series. If I would put a, a, a subject on it, I would just call this 'I Think I'm Right But I May Be Wrong,' because as, as you study this and as we see today, we're going to discover that there are a lot of people, guys, who end up in conflict, end up in strife Uh, because they honestly believe they are right about something, which goes us back to the greed, wanting to always have your way. Um, and you could be dead wrong and be in the middle of a conflict thinking that, hey, I think I'm right, but you could possibly be wrong. And the reality is there are some keys to getting around that. And I think the first key is understanding, really, guys, how, uh, the spirit of contention actually works. Uh, you, you need to understand how the spirit of contention actually works, how the spirit operates, how the spirit flows. You need to know how it actually works. Contention is real, and you need to understand how it works, how it operates. Glory to God. So let's jump into this. So the first thing, um, I want to talk about— because we, we talked about— we left off talking about discontentment, but I think it wouldn't be fair if I didn't tell you what contentment looks like. So we're going to start in 1 Timothy, uh, 6:6. Glory to God. I'm gonna go to this and then I'm gonna pray so when I get finished I can just start teaching. Glory to God. 1 Timothy 6 and verse 6. Praise God. And I think we hit this a little, but I just want to kind of go over this. Glory to God. Just a little before we jump into today's teaching. Praise God. Glory to God. God is so good. He's good. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. 1 Timothy 6:6, the Bible says, but godliness with contentment is great gain. Let's pray. Father, we give you praise. We thank you for the opportunity to teach. We thank you for 21 days of fasting. We thank you for day number 7. And Father, we pray for your mercy, your grace, your favor. We thank you for alignment with your will, your way, your word. Father, do something unusual in our lives today, even through this teaching, something man cannot do. Uh, saturate the corridors of our mind, uh, from the north, the south, the east, the west of our mind, God, and just inebriate us with your anointing, with understanding, with clarity. Father, as I teach, let there be a divine and superior release of light, uh, intelligence that emanates from the Holy Spirit. And we give you praise for that, God. We thank you, God, that there will be, uh, insight and, and open-mindedness as we teach. Even God, in the name of Jesus, we do pray. Amen. And thanks be to God. All right guys, we're here, we're about to get into this with both feet, right? All right, so, uh, glory to God. 1 Timothy 6:6, praise God. And we're going to jump right into this teaching today. I believe, like I said, there's a word from the Lord. So if you're bouncing in and out of here, glory to God, you know, just stay here. It's possibly you stop because there's something you need. Glory to God. And, um, we're gonna give it to you straight from the hip like we always do. No sugarcoating here. This is the wrong page if you want sugarcoating. That's not happening on this live. Glory to God. Uh, what's coming on this live is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. So again, but godliness— godliness, let's stop right there. Let's stop right there. Uh, eusebeia in Greek, eusebeia, which means godliness. Glory to God. Uh, reverence, respect, piety. Glory to God. Watch this, uh, careful thought toward God's presence in all you do, which means you think through the fact— hear me— that God is with you in every decision. You think through the fact before you decide to do something wrong, something that's out of the will of God. You think through every part of the process. Hear me, guys. Every single part of the process, you think through it. My God today, my God today. You think through it because you want to be godly. That's, that's the deliberate, intentional practice of godliness. Listen, I believe this, that many believers want the privilege of being a believer but they do not want the responsibilities of godliness that go along with being a believer. They want to say, I'm saved, glory to God, I've been born again, the Spirit of God has come into my life. You know, they want to be able to say, glory to God, that I am a child of the King. But when it comes down to practicing, glory to God, being a kingdom citizen, living out his principles, believing him by faith, trusting in him in our every move, behaving in a way that is becometh to a saint of God. Many don't want that, glory to God, and they find ways to justify it again. And we, we flop around this grace card. It's like playing spades, man, and every player gets a joker in their hand every time, and that just is not going to happen, glory to God. You know, if you're playing spades and it's only 2 jokers in the deck At the end of the day, the reality is only two players or one player is going to get both jokers. The reality is you, you just can't flop this card around, put it in your deck every single day. Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? I keep going back here, God forbid, because I gotta attack the spirit of this age, the spirit of this generation that doesn't believe godliness with contentment being satisfied, oh my God, with doing godly things. Contentment, uh, atar, atar, atar, and it's more than just mere satisfaction, but it's sufficiency. I'm sufficient with this way of living. This way of living, my God, is enough for me. Are y'all getting this today? Glory to God. You, you say that you, you make it clear that this way of living is enough. Godliness. I'm satisfied, which means out of my hunger, out of my seeking God, getting to know him. Once you really get to know the love of God, I promise you, once you really taste him, all you want is his systems. All you want is his ways of doing and being right. You got to be content with that. Godliness with contentment— watch this— is great gain, is great porismos, P-O-R-I-S-M-O-S, is great increase, is great prosperity. Oh, because again, when you got contention with God in his ways and his ideals about how you live and how you do things, it hinders blessing. So it's great gain. Oh my God, when I'm content and not complaining about my life in God. Or watch this, or complaining about where I am in my life, but I'm working really hard to be content with living godly, practicing faith, so my life can increase, so my life can get better. Oh wee! Oh, we, oh, we— I'm talking to believers right now. I mean, there's really no excuse, guys, me and you both, for us ever living beneath our privilege. We should always be living in alignment with God's plan. And he's saying you could have porismos in this text. You could, which means you can have great gain, great acquisition. Your life is constantly acquiring everything that you need, everything you desire. You never have moments where things are missing, broken, or lacking. Yeah, because you align yourself with the word. Oh my God, today, good God from Zion. I give you glory, God. I give you praise. He said it's great. Yeah. It's great gain. Y'all ready? The Greek word for great there is megas. Megas. It's megas gain. It's amanshita. But it's exceeding external appearance. So mega is not just what you see on the outside, but you have great gain internally and externally. That's what he's saying. You, you grow spiritually, you grow naturally, you increase in every area of life when you can have godliness with contentment. Say that with me: contentment, contentment, contentment, contentment. You need to be satisfied in him and the life that he has afforded. I don't have no desire to be worldly. I have no desire to sell drugs. I have no desire to be shady in business. I have no desire, glory to God, to follow the systems of man. I have no desire to get a secular job. Uh, matter of fact, I wouldn't know what to do if I was in a secular job. Glory to God, I love what I do full-time in ministry. I know what I love, what I do. Glory to God, owning a branding company, owning a film production company and studio. I love what I do. And I love that these are part of my kingdom assignment, and I have godliness with contentment. I mean, you need to be able to, to have a hashtag that says, I love my job. I, I can literally for real say, hashtag, I love my job. I love preaching. I, I love doing the things I have to do, creating, uh, in film. I love working with my clients. I, I love, I love, I love my job because it's from heaven is kingly. I have godliness with contentment. Oh my God, you need to be satisfied, glory in Jesus alone. So many people are seeking to be validated by others, and oh my God, and to— and so we operate in this pleasure mode where we, um, want to please others when we should be operating in a pleasure mode where we're— where God is pleased with us. And the only way God really takes pleasure in us is when we are content with his way of doing things. The only time Abba the Father spoke audibly in the New Testament was when Jesus got baptized. And after John baptized Jesus, you can read it in Matthew, the Father speaks and he says, this is my son in whom I'm well pleased. Yeah, so can God announce over your day-to-day activity— hear me— this is my daughter, this is my son, whom I'm well pleased? Because Jesus had not even begun his work yet. He did— he got baptized, and the Father speaks, I'm already pleased because I know his heart, I know what he's going to do. Can the Father count on you to do what you're supposed to do for him in serving him? Come on, the second tier of the fast was serving because you're content. Oh my God, with the assignment. Y'all make sure y'all share this, ladies and gentlemen. Glory to God. The numbers dropped, but I, I really don't care. I'm gonna teach. Glory to God. Uh, I, I— this is soulful, you know, people Well, okay, I'm gonna just teach. Glory to God. I'm not gonna even address that. Listen, you got to be— I'm gonna teach the ones that want it. Y'all want it? Y'all here? If you're here on this live and you want this word, just type it in the comments, 'I want it.' I don't care if it's 1, I don't care if it's 5. Glory to God. Again, we have to learn to prioritize the importance of this word. Glory to the name of God. We give you glory, God. So we got to be content. So contentment— I want to share this with you, you can write this down— it's more valuable than any material possession. Glory to God! It's more valuable than a Bentley, a Rolls-Royce, a mansion on a golf course. It's more valuable, glory to God, than a private jet. It's more valuable than G-Wagons. It's more valuable than having $20 billion in the bank. Contentment. Oh, it's valuable, man. Content. Because, because again, this word parismos deals with the idea that you are satisfied with things as they are. You're fulfilled with the life you've been given. Because you know, you can get all of the things that I just named. You can get Gucci, you can get Louis, you can get uh, Dior. You can get— glory to the name of God— oh my God, you can get all of the— maybe you can get Chanel, you can get all the major name brand things and still not be content. You need to have godliness. Itaya satavaya. We're content, man. You need to have peace in your home. You need to have peace in your life. Glory to God. You need to have peace with your family, peace with your children. Glory to God. You need to have some contentment. You need to have peace with the life that God has given you. And let me tell you something, it's a great life. And if you get content with it, it'll start manifesting. All of the resources, all of the finances, all of the things that you need will begin to manifest and come forth out of your life if you become content. Oh my God, today. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. When you content— watch this, see, see, see— the spirit of contentment comes with faith. Because it says I have faith in God. So if I'm content and I'm at peace with my life and that God is working through me and for me, yeah, on my behalf, I don't have any ambiguity, which means I never question God. Yeah, when I'm at peace with the process because I know I'm in the will of God But some of the things you go through, you go through them because you're rebellious. You go through them because you doubt. You go through them because you move in fear and you don't give God opportunity to work for you. But if you get contentment with behaving like a believer, believing in your Daddy— oh my God, today, oh, I'm working on you. I am working on you today. Oh my God. You got to be satisfied, man. You gotta be content. You cannot help— you cannot question God. Don't question it. Don't question him. Trust him. Be content. Trust his word. If he said it, believe it. If he said he'd supply your need according to his riches and glory, be content that that is real and do the godly thing and believe it. You know, faith is godly. Trusting God is godly. Do the godly thing and trust him. Oh my God, oh my God, today, Lord have mercy. We give you praise, we give you glory. You're at rest, you're without strife, you're at peace when you're content. Go to Philippians 4. Let's go, let's go, let's get in this word today. Philippians 4. Glory to God. I pray you're getting something already. Glory to God. Philippians 4, uh, verses 11 and 12. Glory to God. I think I'm right, but I may be wrong. Glory to God. That's what we're talking about today. Glory to God. We're gonna get there. We're just laying a backdrop because you— we really can't deal with the meat of this if we don't understand contentment, because Contentment is going to help you not be deceived when you're wrong. Oh yeah, it's not gonna— it's not gonna make you be discontent with yourself and others when you are content with what God is doing in and through you. Glory to God. Philippians 4, uh, verse 11— I'm sorry, the Bible says, not that I speak in respect or want, but I've learned in whatever state I am in to be content. Paul says, listen, I've learned to be satisfied to the point where I'm not disturbed. That's what he's saying. Wherever I'm at, whatever I'm going through, I'm satisfied to the point where I'm not disturbed. Verse 12, he said, I know both how to be abased, okay, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry. Both to abound and to suffer need. So no matter what you're going through, watch this, when you're in God and you're practicing godliness with contentment, you learn how to be above, you learn how to soar, and you learn how to go through the seasons where there are things challenging you, where there are obstacles, where you're— oh my God— going through pain and you're going through brokenness, you're going through seasons where your mind is even being challenged. Glory to God. Because listen, you learn how to trust God and not get disturbed by what's around you. You don't panic in storm. Glory to God. Oh my God. You don't panic because you know who you are. You are godly and you're walking in him, and you got a right to trust him and be at peace. And I'm telling you something, he never failed me. He never failed me yet. He never failed me yet! Jesus Christ never fail me yet everywhere I go— I want the world to know Jesus Christ never fails me yet he never fell on me at he never felt me yet Jesus Christ never failed me yet everywhere I go I want the world to know Jesus Christ never fall me yet. I need that to be your testimony. I need you to be able to say, no matter where I am and what I'm going through, my God, today Jesus, he never failed me. Say, he never failed me. Glory to God. Hallelujah. I want you to shout that. He never failed me. He never failed, and he never will. Hear this, and he never will. Glory to God. All he wants is deliberate trust. I'm telling you, I, I'm, I can, I've lived what this, this text in Philippians 4:11-12, I've lived here. Glory to God. I've been a base. I've lost everything. Glory to God. And I had to learn how to be content and trust God when I was at zero. Oh my God, I've been to zero. Matter of fact, let me just be totally honest with you, I've been to zero not once but twice in my life. I'm talking about where I was abounding, glory to God, and everything was zero. Whew, but God, ah, but God. Ese ki anta tabaya, bran sete babakonso rata, ete man sete babaya. And that's why even where I am today with the blessing that's on my life, spiritually, financially, in every area, I learned to understand that this is all God. None of this is me. Glory to God. Yes, Father. And that he could just snap his fingers and it all be gone. And I have to be content and be godly anyway. Glory to God. It doesn't give me a right— ish etababa basura bayah, bread setaba— to do what I want to do because I'm going through. I got to be content with what God has for me, man. Oh my God, go to Luke. We're gonna just— we're gonna plow, we're gonna plow through this word, man. Luke 3:13. I pray you're getting something out of this today. Glory to God. God bless all of you. Glory to God. Hallelujah. I see your comments. God bless all of you. I love you all. God bless you, Elder Frazier. Good to see you. God bless you. God bless you, everybody. Laquita, God bless you. Dr. Cargo, God bless you. I see my wife. God bless you. Wife. She always gonna be here. I love her. That's my number one fan. I appreciate God for all of you. Glory to God, you are a blessing to me. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for being here. Glory to God. Listen, guys, listen, listen, listen to the— listen to the preacher. I need you to understand something. I really need you to grab this. You got to get some contentment because God is always at work. Whenever there's fallacy, whenever we miss something, whenever something's not moving the way it needs to move— watch this— it's because, glory to God, we are not in alignment. We've missed it somewhere. Are y'all hearing me? Are y'all hearing me? Glory to God. Are you getting this? Glory to God. Hallelujah. Are you, are you hearing me? Glory to God, we give him praise. Hallelujah, we give him glory, we honor his high name. Glory to God, you got to get in line, you got to get in line, you got to get in line. Hallelujah, you got to get in line. He's always working. I'm slowing down because I want you to— I want you to let this marinate. Glory to God, you gotta line yourself because God's 100% invested in the relationship. He is. But here's how covenant works. It's an agreement between two or more parties to carry out their part of the principle of the covenant. And when one party fails— watch this— one of the parties on either side fails, the covenant becomes inactive. Until all parties align. So God never fails. He's always 100% involved. God bless you guys. Listen, you got to get your part and always make sure the covenant— hear me— is intact on your end. Glory to God. Oh boy, I tell you, glory to God. Let me just keep going. Luke 3:14, that's where we're at. Glory to God. Luke 3:14. Are y'all ready? Glory to God. The Bible says, and the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, praise God, and what shall we do? And he said unto them, do violence to no man. Neither accuse any falsely. Watch this, and be content with your wages. Oh my God, Jesus told the soldier, be satisfied with your rations and your wages, and although you're angry, do not harm anybody. So watch this, even in your work situation or your business, you may not be satisfied with what's happening right now. You may think it should be more, but if you know you're godly and you're content, you need to be satisfied and trust God that the increase is coming. We already talked about great gain. Listen, when you're thankful— this is a principle, you might want to write it down, you're going to need this later in life. Glory to God, this is a principle. Glory to God, you going to need it. You going to need this later in life. Glory to Jesus. Write it down. Hear me. When you are satisfied and content with God and where you are, God can get more to you. But when you are complaining— I posted something earlier this morning after prayer, you know, really, you don't even understand the blessings that you have. Stop complaining, please stop complaining. I want you to stop doing it. Matter of fact, number one, you can't complain about what you permit. It. If you're allowing it, please shut up about it, all right? Just be quiet about it. If you're allowing it and it's your fault, you don't get to complain about it, all right? Secondly, you're complaining but don't even realize the small things that— and you're not celebratory of the small things that God has blessed you with. Come on now, you know, you're complaining But you don't realize your house is a dream to someone that doesn't have a house. Come on. So you complain about your house and there's somebody that's either homeless or renting that wants a house and can't get one, and you're complaining about yours. Come on, stop it in Jesus' name. Stop it in Jesus' name. Oh my God. Oh my God. Your car. Oh my God. Is a dream to somebody that doesn't have a car, that's riding the bus or taking Ubers. At the end of the day, stop complaining. Stop complaining. Be content so God can get more. Be grateful for where you are. Your job is a dream to someone that's unemployed. Listen, you, you need to understand that someone that's unemployed is looking at you saying, oh my God, you complain about your job. Oh, glory Jesus the Christ. Jesus the Christ. You complaining about the job that you have, it's going to be impossible for you to open up realms. So I'm gonna give you a scripture for that in a moment since we just read one, but I'm gonna give you another one in case you missed that one. Because somebody else is watching you saying, wow, they're so blessed. You're complaining about your marriage and somebody's single is looking at you saying, oh my God, if I could just get married. Glory to God. You're complaining about being single and it's probably somebody married looking at you saying, boy, if I could just be Stop complaining. You're blessed no matter what state you're in. Oh my God. Today, today, today. Oh, Shantabiah. Be content, be content. Okay, here's the other scripture. Be faithful over a few things and I'll make you ruler over many. So be faithful with the wages you're getting. Be faithful to take care of your responsibilities. Be faithful to be a tither. Be faithful over few. Glory to God. Listen, you want God to bless you with $100,000 a month and you won't tithe off $1,000 a month? Come on, man, you can't expect God to trust you with $100,000. You sure ain't gonna bring him $10,000 a month if you won't bring him $100, or if you won't bring him $10 off the $100. Come on, church. Come on, church. Reba shatababa. We give you glory, God. Glory. So you got to be faithful over the few. How can your salary increase and you're a believer? So part of— I know y'all say, Apostle, come on, man. Yeah, yeah. I'm telling you, those you connected to me, I'm— my goal for Rider Church family, glory to God, is that Rider Church be a 100% tithing church. Period. Period. End of story. Period. So I'm gonna keep coming at you until we get there. And when we get there, I'm gonna tell you, because you know right now we ain't there. Glory to God. And it's because we don't understand that following godliness with contentment is tied into obedience in all areas. Glory to God. So again, if you making $100 a week Don't stop complaining about that $100 and bring them the $10, and then God can trust you with $100,000 a month. So your tithe is $10,000 a month, but you ain't proven that you can be trusted with the $10 off the $100. Oh boy, oh boy. Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, somebody say, Apostle, leave me alone. No, I'm not leaving you alone. Obey, shorty. That's what I need you to do. Be obedient. Glory to God. So you can be blessed. Sheba ti ansu rabba ya. Brand city be kosha tabaya. Koto man so rakai. We give you glory. We glory. Bansata babaso rabba ya. We glorify you. Be faithful in those few things. I know God's getting ready to bless Rhema Church Atlanta with a new building because you know what? I've been faithful and obedient in that building that we're in now, in the meeting space that we're in now. Glory to God. Hallelujah. And I know the blessing of a new facility is on its way. It's going to be ours. We won't be renting venues. We won't be— hallelujah— renting any space. We're going to own it. God's about to release divine favor because of faithfulness. I'm telling you right now, watch God. Listen, because I've been faithful. Me and Lady Felicia have been faithful. Glory to God, we've been faithful. Go, we tithe when nobody else does. We give when nobody else does. Glory to God. That's why our house is blessed, because we make sure that God's house is taken care of when nobody else does, you know. And at the end of the day, the reality is I appreciate the ones that are faithful. God bless you. You're walking in the principle. You're walking in the principle and you can expect blessing. But wherever you go to church— this live, this for the public— let me help another pastor. If you go to that church and you're not tithing, stop listening to these Facebook lives and these live streams that's talking about tithing is a lie, it's in the Old Testament. Listen, you looking at somebody that's blessed because they are a tither. Oh my God, oh my God. Okay, okay, okay. I'mma go. I'm believing with you, Pastor Montgomery, 100% tithing church, man of God. Yes, God, I'm believing that for Seed Planters as well. We give you glory, God. Let me keep going, let me keep going. Listen, when a person is never satisfied, because according to this text This text right here, when a person is never satisfied, listen to me, no matter what they have, they're going to continually open the door for Satan to steal what they have. When you're never satisfied with what you got, you are continually— y'all are talking here— to open the door for Satan to come in and steal what you got because you ain't satisfied with it anyway. So the enemy comes in and steals what you have. Oh my, thank you, Pastor Jasper. Appreciate you, son. Glory to God. I see you, Bruce. Yeah, it's the truth, sir. We have, we, we have authority to change these things, you know. We again, we flap around this grace card and keep living in the same way. Glory to God. And God says, no, I need you to change. I need you to be obedient. Glory to God. God. Go to Proverbs 1:19. We walking through, glory to God, we walking through. Proverbs 1:19. I'm working on you today, glory to God. Proverbs 1:19. I'm working on you, glory to God. Hallelujah, we give you praise, God. Yeah, scrolling these timelines, watching these videos talking about tithing is a lie, tithing is not real. I challenge any preacher, any pastor to come on one-on-one with me and let's talk about this, because all I'm gonna do is not only give you Bible, but I'm gonna give you real life situations where tithers— glory to God, ha— and myself as a tither has been blessed through tithing. Listen, we're all this deception out here. Glory to God, we gotta change that, man. And I'm not trying to convince you to be a tither because I need money. I'm trying to get— convince you to be a tither because you need some, and you need the blessing of the Lord on your life. Glory to God, glory to God. And you good. That's right, Mr. Felix Anderson. Glory to the name of God. Tithing is a life. He knows it. Glory to God. That's a man of God that practices it. I've watched his life over the years. Glory to God. He— and he has prospered because he has tapped into that principle. Glory to God. I need you to understand, ladies and gentlemen, This is real. And whether we obey the principles or not, the principles work. They are consistent, and they're going to make your life either better or worse if you don't obey them. Oh boy, let me move, let me move. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. Glory to God. Oh yeah, spoken by True Tither, Pastor Jeffrey Jasper. Tithing is life. Life. Glory to God. He knows that because he's a tither. Glory to God. I'm a witness to he a tither. Glory to God. Let it be so to my mind. It's life. Glory to God. It's, it's a lifestyle, like Felix said. It's a lifestyle, like Jeffrey just said. It's facts, man. It works. Proverbs 1:19. Let's move through this word, man. Watch this. So we're still talking about I think I'm right, but I may be wrong. So there are people that think they right about how they give, and they wrong, and don't understand because your giving is jacked up. That's why your financial life is jacked up. Again, even if you go to another church, you don't have to give me a dime. I'm saying I'm helping other pastors. Now, at the end of the day, your personal finances are in a shambles if you're a believer because you're not giving. You don't have gratitude. It's non-negotiable, people. Glory to God. Oh, I lost a few people. They got off. I don't want to hear that. I don't want to hear that. I don't want to hear that. But watch what greed does for you. Watch this. Proverbs 1:19, it says, so are the ways of everyone that is greedy of gain, which taketh away the life of the owners thereof. All it is saying that greed takes away the life of those that possess. Whatever you have, your greediness, it takes away from your life. You need to be content and you need to be obedient. Glory to God. Go to Proverbs 13:10. We're rolling. Glory to God. So I think I'm right, but I may be wrong. How do I deal with that? How do I— oh my God— progress past the deception of thinking I'm right and I'm dead wrong. Glory to God. Hallelujah. How do I get past that? It starts, guys, with humility. Humility. Type that in all caps. Glory to God. You got to be humble enough to receive truth. You got to be humble enough to receive correction. You got to be humble enough to be content with the word. So let's look at how powerful humility is. Proverbs 13 Uh, verse number 10, this is where we're going. Watch this. Only by pride— watch this— cometh contention. So contention shows up because we're proud, because we're arrogant. Glory to God. So we, we end up being unsatisfied. We end up being— and we talked about discontent yesterday, Friday. So at the end of the day, I'm not going to revisit that, but at the end of the day When you're proud and arrogant— so let me, let me just give you these nuggets right here. Arrogance leads to aloneness. Oh boy. So if you're arrogant and you're full of pride, most of the time you're going to end up by yourself. Nobody wants to be in your circle. Uh, matter of fact, even God resists the proud. That's the main one you should worry about, right? He don't want to have nothing to do with you if you're proud. And what shows up is contention. So arrogance leads to aloneness. Aloneness— watch this— leads to adventurism. So you start taking risks because of your pride, and you by yourself, and you become this listless vagabond who is an adventurist taking all of these uncalculated— watch this— ungodly risks. Oh boy. Oh my God, today with your life and everybody else's life, you have no general— oh my God, you have no general direction. You have— I'm too excited, let me calm down. You have no general direction. You're listless, you're a vagabond. The vagabond spirit is just driving you here and there. You're being tossed to and fro by every slight of men, every wind of doctrine, because there's no stability in your process because you're not satisfied, you're discontent, you're arrogant, so you're adventurous. And then ultimately you become an adulterer. And adultery means to be satisfied by something that doesn't belong to you. So you start being— it's not just sex outside of marriage, that's a— that is adultery. But at the end, it's not just sexual unfaithfulness in marriage, it's also being— because that's being satisfied by a another human that ain't your spouse. But you are in adultery if you're satisfied by a system. Yeah, a way of living. I just love the Holy Ghost. You satisfied by a way of living, a way of doing and being right. That ain't God. You get satisfied with the world system, the world's way of doing things, the world's way of acting, the world's way of being. And God says, uh-uh, no, no, no, I have not ordained that for you. He says, no, you're an adulterer. He called Israel an adulterous nation because they were satisfied by gods and ways of life that wasn't God's plan for them. So you're an adulterer when you're living a life that wasn't designed for you. Oh my God. Oh, why? Somebody said, oh, why is following Jesus so hard? It's not. If you just take his yoke upon you and learn of him, his yoke is easy. If you, if you don't make it be religious and do it out of love. Yeah, be satisfied and not be arrogant. Hallelujah. And prideful and boasted, boastful, and, and, and, and looking down on everyone. Oh God, here we go. He said, only by pride comes contention. Come on. But with the well-advised— good God Almighty— is wisdom. So when I'm learning, for when I learn, when I am advised well, when I take the position of a learner— yeah, yeah, glory to God— when I humble myself and take the position of a learner. Humility is key. Glory to God. And I take the position of a learner. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Glory to God. God is glorified. God is magnified. He gets the glory out of my life. Glory to God. And I have wisdom. Hakma. I know how to properly use to use the revelation and the knowledge that Jesus gives to me. That's the word for wisdom, hakma, in Hebrew. I learn how to use the wisdom properly. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Come on. I'm almost through, guys. I ain't gonna finish this today. We got 14 more days to go through all this word. So the first key is humility, right? Go to— okay, go to James 3:17. So he says, through pride, which is a lack of humility, right, contention is born. So contention is the mother— so I'm sorry, pride is the mother of contention. Okay, so if you're walking in pride, you got to kill the mother, not your natural mama, but kill your mama, kill your— that, that demonic mother, that matriarch that gives birth to— that's matriarch spirit that gives birth to contention in your life, because it takes you out of alignment where you need to be to receive the blessing of God. I mean, always of differing opinion, you know, always striving to be in control, to be at the end of the day you're right and everybody else is wrong. Come on, man. You are causing contention. You're— it's a dangerous spirit, and that's pride. That's arrogant. You got to kill that before it kills you. All right, uh, James 3:17. Watch this. Watch what a wise man is willing to do. James 3:17. Uh, glory to God. Thank you, Lord. I pray y'all learning something today. James 3:17. I feel like running. Jesus. I'm for real, I do. I feel like running. I feel like running for real. God have mercy. Thank you, Jesus. Glory to God. But I'm looking at myself in this monitor saying, man, did I really— I must— I prayed in this red coat shirt, this, this red Atlanta Hawks shirt this morning. It's a Hawks golf shirt. I grabbed out of the closet when I got up at 5, and when I, I lay back down after prayer, I worked a little and I lay back down before I came in. And so I grabbed this shirt again and put it on. And I thought this morning, glory to God, when I put it on, I said, you know what, when I was looking at myself in the morning, I just looked again, I said, man, you look like a coach. So please, glory to God, excuse the, the coaching look today. I'm talking about, I look like I'm really on the sideline, uh, coaching the NBA today with this thing on. Glory to God. Listen, uh, James 3:17, the Bible says this, it says, but the wisdom that is from above watch this, is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits. So wisdom here, watch this, but the Sophia in, in Greek, the, the intelligence that is from above, you know, which, which denotes, uh, the God kind of intelligence, the spiritual intelligence that we lean on for life. The skill set to perform purpose, to live out the plan of God in our life. Glory to God. He said that intelligence, the spiritual intelligence from— is that is from above, it is pure. Haggnos, which means it's not defiled. Okay, it's clean. Lord, it's innocent. It's— oh my God, it's, it's vulnerable to the distributor. Glory to God. So that means I only really have access to this heavenly wisdom when I am in a state of purity. Why? Oh my God. Well, because I can properly discern it and access it because the distributor of it is pure. So at the end of the day, in order for me to access it and use it and apply it, I must stand in purity, which the blood of Jesus makes us pure, makes us clean, right? So I was— I, I— so this wisdom, which is— this is what gives us an edge on the rest of society, because that's why you ought to be— you ought to be running Fortune 500 companies, you ought to be holding, uh, political offices and operating those seats from the Holy Ghost if that's your purpose. You ought to be entrepreneurs that's amassing great success because you have an edge above the other person that doesn't have access to this mind that you have access to, because you, my friend, have been washed in the blood. Oh my God. Oh, oh God. Boy, I gotta go, man. I gotta go. He said this wisdom is from above. It's pure, it's full of peace, it's gentle, it's easy to be entreated, full of mercy, full of good fruits, without partiality, without hypocrisy. The bottom line is All of those things the apostle here is saying to us. James, the Apostle James, is saying wisdom is easy to yield to the ways of God. It's not hard for them to adjust and be obedient and do what God says. Wisdom yields easy. Come on, my God, today, uh, because you don't want to be a hypocrite, you don't want to be, uh, partial, you don't want to be questioning God. You want to be where you're supposed to be, doing what you're supposed to be doing. I'm almost done, family, I'm almost done. I got 6 more minutes, I'm almost done. Glory to God, thank you, Jesus. Yeah. Go to Romans 12:16. I hear you, Father. Romans 12:16. I think I'm right, but I may be wrong. Hallelujah. There are people, because of their arrogance— watch this— religious arrogance will have you bound in a place, bound to people. I know groups of people who are bound to places. That God's trying to take from them. They're bound to people that God's trying to remove from them. You know, some people were designed just to be in your life for a specific season, and you got to have enough wisdom and intelligence to know when that season is over. I know people that's sitting up in a church that's dead. The church is dead, and they still, they still sitting there waiting for God to show up, waiting for the change, hoping that a miracle happen. Let me tell you something, baby, that church is dead. One, because you got— you'll have people who are in the leadership who will not align with the mind of God, who are causing contention in people because they're not getting words, so they're frustrated spiritually. Oh boy, I'm just telling you why I know. I talk to these people, people inbox me, and because they're frustrated about where they're at and You know, I have to tell them the hard truth. You just stuck and you need to move. You're in a time warp. You're living in history. Listen, I never want to be where God was. I want to be where God is. And if God— I'm gonna say that again. I never want to be where God was. I want to be where he is. And you're sitting there, Ichabod been written over the door. Ichabod. Which means the glory has departed. And the glory is gone because you have starchy, religious, dead leaders who don't understand the mind of God enough to create the change necessary. Oh boy, oh boy. Okay, here we go, here we go, here we go. Come on. So the church can grow, so the power of God can be revisited again. And all you got to talk about is what it used to be, is how it was. Oh boy, how God used to move in this place. He ain't moving now. No, he's not there. He's gone. And what you got to do is make up in your mind, I'm not gonna be where God was, I'm gonna be where God is. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Oh my God. Okay. Okay, you ain't got to like me. I love you though. I love you though, because I'm gonna tell you the truth. Glory to God, you're stuck. Your life is stuck because you're not being nourished spiritually, and you think you're right. You're loyal to a system that's no longer requiring your commitment. Oh my God, by heaven, heaven doesn't require that of you no more. And you got to be bold enough to walk away. And then you got the nerve, the unmitigated gall, to be upset with someone who had enough boldness to walk away from that death trap. To— oh, y'all ain't got to talk to me here. Oh, I'm in rap form today. I'm— we're on this fast. Glory to God. I'm just being Apostle Michael Woods. That's all I know how to do. Glory to God. You sitting up in that death trap. Glory to God. Yeah, I'm coming right at your juggler today. Glory to God. Because I know Some of y'all that I'm talking to, I ain't gonna call the name because I'm looking right at this dead group. Glory to God, there's got a dead person standing up there trying to lead them, trying to take them somewhere, and they didn't even call the leadership. Don't they have enough sense to give the church a leader, to find a pastor to lead the people into the next dimension so a move of God can come? You're wrong and you're out of order. And then you have the unmitigated gall. To be upset, to be mad when someone takes the boldness to walk away from that death trap. No, what you need to do is follow suit. You're tabansa ke detepe so tabaya. Oh my God, today you need to follow suit and put up your finger and walk away. Because I saw somebody posted, it's soul ties. Soul ties are not just sexual. You can be tied to a religious system. Jesus, that keeps you bound. You could be so tied to a group, an organization, a church that's dead, and you need to walk away. You need to get out of there. It's not— that's why you're frustrated every week. That's why your finances are dry. Glory to God. Because you're sitting up in a dead place and you ain't being taught nothing. You're hearing the same messages you have been hearing for years. Oh my God, today it's tabasa tabaya. You're going through the same process and you think because you bucked, because you shouted, because there was a praise break, something— no, you, you're dead and you need to arise. And I command you right now in the name of Jesus to get up from there and go where you need to go to get what you need. If you don't want this kind of truth, please push the unfollow button. Please push the unfriend button, because if you come on this live, this is my page. The name at the top say Michael Woods, and what I'm gonna tell you is the truth. You're sitting up there in a dead church. You're sitting up there with all those dead folks around you, and what you need to do so your purpose can live, so the glory can come through your life, is get up and go in the name of Jesus. Yeah, you think you're right, you think you're right, but you're dead wrong. You think you're right, but you're wrong, you're wrong, you're wrong, and you're killing yourself. You're in a death trap. Glory to God, glory to God. You're in a death trap. I'm supposed to be reading Romans 12:16. Oh God, oh God, I can't apologize for the Holy Ghost. The devil is a liar. I'm telling you, God loves you enough to tell you the truth. Stop operating in jealousy and greed, and you sitting there trying to prove a point. That the person that was bold enough to walk away was wrong, so you gonna keep staying and dying? No, you're crazy. Stop doing that. You— oh, come on, you ain't proving no point, but you're setting yourself up for death. Oh my God. And I'm not telling you to come to Rider Church. If that's where God leads you, come, you're welcome. But what I am telling you, get out of that death trap. Get out. You're committing spiritual suicide. You know for a fact you ain't getting no word. That's why y'all be in my inbox following my lives, glory to God, and following other preachers because you ain't getting nothing where you at. Oh God, oh God. Okay, let me read. Glory to God. Rukus kai. We give you glory, God. Come on, Minister Anderson. You needed some scripture for everything I just said. Minister Anderson just gave it to you. Why sit we here and die? That's the lepers from 2 Kings 7. Glory to God. Come on, come on. Glory to God. Why you gonna sit there and keep dying? Keep taking that pill every day. You drinking the Kool-Aid, baby. You need to get up out of there. You don't— you, you done drunk. Listen, you done drunk too much of that Kool-Aid. You— we, we talk about what Jim Jones did, dead wrong, glory to God, everybody died physically. But you in the same situation. You drinking that spiritual Kool-Aid because you are connected, soul tied to yesterday. Oh my God, I got to get out of here, man. I got to get out of here. Yeah, and please share it with the powers that be. Please, please, I want you to share it because they need to get wise. They need to go somewhere and pray. Glory to God. And, and to think, that you think you're right. And you're wrong because you're flowing out of your flesh, out of your carnality, and you ain't spent no time with God about how to govern and lead his people adequately. Share it, please, with the powers that be. Send them an email to the link to this video. Uh, put— copy the link and send them a text. You got their phone number, send it to them. Because they're out of order and they're killing Latai. Watch this, don't even know it, think they right, wrong, and killing the legacy of a great man. Okay, I'm through with that. I'm, I'm through, I'm through, I'm through. Okay, I'm, I'm through because we think we're right. I'm just, I'm using all of that as an example of how any person can fall subject to this deception where you believe you okay and you believe what you're doing is the right thing, and you dead wrong because you ain't following the word, because you ain't hungry for God, because you're not spending enough time with God where he can actually lead you, where you're actually leaning to your own understanding. Yeah, you're leaning to your own understanding. You're not acknowledging him in all your ways. You think because you attend church and you're loyal that you're right, but you're wrong. My God, help us today. Help us today. Help us. We give you glory, God. We give you glory. That wasn't planned, so the Holy Ghost uh, just took this live over and drove that point home. Oh, I'm gonna read this scripture and we're gonna be out. Romans 12:16, it says, be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. It's pretty much what I just said. Don't be wise in your own conceits. Don't be so conceited, stuck up, arrogant that you can't hear truth and adjust. It's amazing how leaders and preachers can disseminate truth, but when the truth comes to them, they can't take it, they can't adjust. Oh my God. But don't be so conceited and arrogant that you can't adapt and adjust to the wisdom that other people will disseminate to you. And all I did in a very authoritative way, in a very apostolic way, Because that's what apostles do. That's who I am. Sometimes I don't necessarily want to be the apostle in that way, but apostles ain't just soft and sweet. There's an aggressive two-edged sword that apostles carry, and at the end of the day, sometimes I have to swing it. And it's, it's not to offend you, it's to liberate you. Jehu was an apostolic anointing in the Old Testament. The Bible said he went in with a sword and he slayed 400 false prophets. That's what we do with the word. We pull the sword out as apostles, and we need more of the apostolic types that say they're apostles to stand in truth. And, and because that's not me at all, but the Holy Ghost had to come at the juggler today because somebody's in a death trap and they're dying. Oh boy, we gotta learn how to be of the same mind toward one another. In other words, I was just talking to my wife about this. You could be so engaged and love a person completely, and then you're their friend and you've never done anything to them, but on the other side, they are not of the same mind toward you. Hear me, if you're saved You shouldn't be two-faced. You should be able to be of the same mind toward another person. Oh boy. And you think you're right. You may think, okay, I'm justified for not liking her, for treating her bad, for treating him wrong, or, or, or, you know, not engaging with them the way I used to because they did something I didn't like. Well, that's not how Jesus acts. So when, when you're engaged with people Glory to God. You have to be of the same mind toward them. But do you realize there are people that are harboring secret hate toward you? They'll smile in your face and put a dagger in your back. They'll like your picture and talk about you behind your back. But you have to learn to hold your peace and know that the onus is on them, and God's going to deal with them. And don't allow their actions to get you in discontent. Man, you want to be content because they are wrong even though they think they are right. Man, I gotta go, I'm, I'm overtime. He says, mind not the high things. I'm putting my iPad down, guys. He says, mind not the high things. Glory to God. Most there are people that feel like they're better than you. And God says don't pay attention to that. You're a child of the King. Don't let people devalue you. Be who God made you to be. Let's pray. Father, we give you praise, we give you glory, we honor you today. We thank you for this word. And Father, if I'm on— see, I'm talking about I offended anyone, I repent, God. But I simply was yielding to what you had me to say. And Father, if I said anything that wasn't you, please forgive me. But I don't believe I did, but I'm asking you, God, if I did, I was just moving apostolically. And I pray that liberation will come through this word. I pray, God, that victory and deliverance will happen. I pray that breakthrough and open doors will occur in the matchless holy and righteous name of Jesus. I love you, God. You're wonderful, you're mighty. Beside you there is no other. It's in you we live and move and have our being, God. I pray, God, that the spirit of contentment will be upon this people. And I pray, God, that we will examine ourselves when we think we're right and we could possibly be wrong. And we praise you for that now, in Jesus' name. Amen. And thanks be to God. Hallelujah! I love you guys so much. I love you with the love of the Lord, and there's nothing you could do about it. Listen, we're on day number 7 of our 21-day fast. We've entered into the tier of serving. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Because the benefits of this fast are going to be great. Glory to God. Listen, I want to pray really quickly For anyone watching that's not born again, uh, any of the things I was teaching today, you could have that in your life. You can be content, you could be satisfied, you could be saved. The Bible simply says if you confess with your mouth Jesus Christ and if you believe in your heart that he died and he rose again, the Bible says that you will be saved. Listen, if you're here today and you know your business is not straight with God Meaning if you died right now, you would go to hell. And you— and listen, hell is a real place. I know there's a lot of teaching saying it's not. It is a real place. And listen, the reality is you want to miss it. The only way to miss it is to accept Jesus Christ and confess with your mouth. It's not automatic. It's— you're not automatically saved, regardless to the teachings that's out here that say everybody is already saved. No, the Bible tells us clearly, confess with your mouth, believe in your heart. How simple is that? That Jesus died and rose again, and you shall be saved. And if you've heard this gospel and you've received this information— my God, today this information— you're responsible for it. So just pray with me now. If you say, I want to give my life to the Lord, I know if I died now, I wouldn't make it into the kingdom. I want the benefit of being content in every aspect of my life. Just pray with me. Say, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I confess I am a sinner. I need to be saved. Say, Lord, I believe that you died and rose again. So I open my heart and invite you in. Say, come in and live in me, in Jesus' name. Amen. If you said those words today, glory to God, I want you to know you're saved. And you say, Apostle Woods, I need more information on how to walk this out. I'm glad. Radachurch.com/contact. I want to give it to you. I want to show you your next steps. I want to show you how to get in a good Bible teaching church and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Glory to God! So that I have encounters with God and enjoy all the fun stuff we enjoy over here in the kingdom. Thank you for joining us today, everybody. I love you guys. Y'all are amazing. Y'all are the— I'm talking about my heart, and I appreciate you guys for, um, trusting me to lead you, to teach you You don't have to do that. You have options. So I don't take that for granted. But I promise you, if you continue to give me opportunity, I'm gonna continue to pray. I'm gonna continue to seek the face of God on the things I'm gonna share with you, because I really want your life to be changed, and I want it to be filled with action. That's my heart. That's my desire. I love you guys today. Y'all be blessed. Um, I'll see you tomorrow morning at 5 AM. Glory to God. This is day 7. Make the best of it. God bless you. Peace.
