5 AM PRAYER WITH APOSTLE MIKE WOODS | 12 AUGUST 2025

In this live (or replay) 5 AM prayer session, Apostle Mike Woods opens with a greeting and explains the purpose of early‑morning communal prayer. He frames the gathering around the biblical theme of "walking in love," drawing on Romans 5:5, Philippians 1:9‑11, 1 John 4:18, John 13:34, and 1 Corinthians 3:6. Throughout the hour he teaches that love is a verb that must be practiced despite human selfishness and fear, emphasizing the "stimulus‑response gap" where believers pause, pray, and let the Holy Spirit guide their reaction. He links love to hope, righteousness, and the ability to cast out fear, and he uses agricultural metaphors (planting, watering, increase) to illustrate how love fuels spiritual growth. The session includes multiple extended prayers and declarations for blessings, anointing, discipline, and the casting out of fear, as well as personal testimonies of the Holy Spirit’s presence. Woods repeatedly urges listeners to engage—comment, share, give seed money, and observe a water‑only fast—highlighting community participation and support for the ministry. The overall tone is enthusiastic, worshipful, and instructional, aiming to inspire listeners to embody Christ‑like love in daily life.

Well, grace and peace this morning, everyone. This is the day, ah, that the Lord has made, and we shall rejoice and be glad in it. Welcome to 5 o'clock prayer. Uh, for those of you who may be uninitiated, my name is Apostle Mike Woods, and I am so grateful every opportunity on Tuesday morning I get to pray with you. You know, the Bible says we should pray one for the other, so prayer for each other and prayer with one another should actually be a common practice amongst believers. So this morning, man, I am really favored by God that I, I get the opportunity to spend time with whoever will tap into this live, uh, whether live or by replay, to really connect with you in prayer. You know, the scripture also says where two or three would just touch and agree, he says that he would be in the midst of us. Hallelujah! And so, and then also it says we can ask what we will So as we touch and agree this morning in prayer, uh, let's believe those two things. One, that God is with us, and secondly, we could ask what we will according to his will, and he will perform it. Hallelujah, hallelujah! And if you're joining us, uh, please comment below, uh, let us know you're here, and also hit that share button. Glory to God! So that others can be impacted and affected, uh, by our time together this morning. Uh, this morning I'm gonna pray about something as led of the Holy Spirit that I believe, uh, is so vitally important to, uh, this season we're in. Uh, I believe we're in a tremendous season of both evangelism and harvest. I believe God is wanting to bring harvest into our lives in a very powerful way. Um, we started a series where we've been teaching about how we're assigned to shine. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify the Father which is in heaven. What a powerful thing, uh, that we have opportunity to show up in a dark world, turn on our light, and darkness has to back up. That can't happen. You, you— and I, I taught on this Sunday, you won't come out the closet, you won't go into the world if you really don't love people. So this morning I want to pray about walking in love. And you know, sometimes the way people can be, you know, because we're all human, it makes it hard to walk in love with everybody if you're this. Even the most loving person, um, can be challenged. But the reality is, when Christ is in us and we allow him to lead and be the head of our life for real, we can love in spite of. And so this morning, that's what we want to pray. And remember, we always pray the word. Uh, last Tuesday we prayed to walk in the word, and I prayed that between then and now You've took up a tremendous practice, family, of walking. I feel the anointing this morning, guys. God, I feel Jesus in such a tremendous way. Glory to God. I feel him in a tremendous way this morning. Why don't you take a moment? We're going to pray. Glory to God. And we're going to spend our hour here, but just take a moment. Glory to God. And worship. Just a few moments. I know you just— many of you probably maybe are just waking up, just hitting the floor. But just take a moment and let's just glorify Jesus, worship him. Jesus, we love you. We thank you for your vast realness in our life, God. Usha ilekisa ndurongusha tabaye. We thank you, dear Father, that beside you there is no other. You're the head and not the tail. You are Oh God, our King and our God, because you're head and not the tail. You have declared that we are head and not tail. And Father, so we thank you for who you are to us. We give you glory. We thank you for discipline to live for you. We thank you for a mind to pursue you. Every person that's up this early, God, we just give you praise for them now. And I pray, God, even as we worship and as we pray this morning, God, that you will lay a special blessing upon every person that has entered this room this morning. I decree and declare that every person that's in this online virtual room this morning, that you will release blessing on them, that you will do something very unique and something special for us today, because we have made the sacrifice to rise early and to seek your face. We bless you, God, and we honor your name. He's such a loving God. It's you we worship, it's you we glorify. Hallelujah! Glory to God, glory to God. So walking in love, just a few moments just a few moments, guys. And, uh, again, share this, family. If you're joining us, share this and comment below. Let us know you're here. God bless everyone that's joining. God bless you, Shariel. Good to see you. Good morning. Glory to God. Glory to God. We give God praise. God bless everyone that's present. God bless you, Mr. Tanya. Good to see you. Glory to God. God bless you, beautiful one. Good to see you. Up and early on this 5 AM. God bless your heart. God bless you, Evangelist Smith. Good to see you. Glory to God. God wants us to walk in love, man. The Bible says he is love, and I'm gonna go back to that point I made Sunday. It is impossible to share the good news of what God has done for you if you really don't love people. And you have to love people completely. You have to love like he loved. You have to be committed. Glory to God. Good morning, my beautiful wife for life. Glory to God. You have to love people sacrificially and unconditionally, in spite of how they are. And again, like I said, sometimes that is tough. And you have to be able to love people through things. When you encounter people, you know, one thing you ought to be thinking in your head, even if you don't verbalize it, is, can this person love me through me? Can they love me through ordeals? Especially if you're single and you, you're, you're, you're thinking about marriage, you're thinking about committing. Can this person love me through this? You know, can they love me through the hardest seasons of my life? And as people who walk with God, we should be able to love people through hard times. The key is, is learning to walk, hallelujah, in love. So let's start. Y'all know what we do here, we read the scripture and we pray the word. Glory to God. So let's go to Romans chapter number 5, and we're going to start. Praise God. Give us the power to walk in love, Jesus. Chapter 5, verse 5. Romans 5:5. Praise God. Hallelujah. We give you glory, God. The Bible says, and hope maketh not ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. Which is given unto us. Okay, this is so good. So when people think about receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost and God actually moving in, because that's what it is— God moves into your life, he fills your life with his very presence, his resources, his abilities, his knowledge, his wisdom. We think that's all about prophesying, speaking in tongues. We think many a times that's all about our reactions, um, to spiritual gifts and offices and titles. But something should happen greater even than those things. The love of God should be shed abroad in your heart through the God that's in you. And the scripture says hope is not made a shame when this happens. Listen to what we just read: hope is not made a shame. So now, because we as people who carry God in us allow the love to be shed abroad in our hearts, now people have hope. You know, I I trust God, man, every day to help me personally, you know, in every situation I'm faced with, operate in love. And again, you know, because I'm human, sometimes I drop the ball and not maybe be able to react to things the way I should, uh, but I always try to do what I do in love even on the attack. Again, I don't always make it, but the reality is most of the time I do, because I need to make sure that I am fostering hope for the world. You and I, we, we need to practice this. And when, you know, when we see we've, we failed at it, what we do is we get up, we dust ourselves off, and we, we try it again. Glory to the name of God. Um, it's not always easy to turn the other cheek. Jesus, uh, told us that when we got slapped on the left cheek, turn and give them the right. Man, that is so one— I mean, God, that's probably the one of the hardest things in my walk with God. But the reality is, and it may be easier for others, but the reality is we have to work on that and show love even when someone strikes us, uh, because it gives hope. So let's pray this, this morning, so that we'll be strengthened in this area, you know, so that when we're challenged here— and not just you, but me also— so when we're challenged in areas where, you know, where we even feel like we got a right to retaliate in a certain way, uh, we have to always be mindful to retaliate or respond in love. My wife has taken my teaching to another level of, uh, not only study but practice, where I, I teach a simple principle where there's a space between stimulus and response. And when something stimulates you, you have to take the time— hear me— to go to that space, talk to God, allow Holy Ghost to regulate your response before you respond. And when you fail to do that, hear me, family, it can eliminate hope and it can cause you to respond in a way that you may not feel good about later. And so we have to make sure of this. So let's pray, uh, that God will give us discipline and strength to allow the Holy Ghost to let love be spread abroad in our hearts. Hallelujah! So that every opportunity we can eradicate— oh, glory to God— the doubts that the world has and keep hope intact so that people can see that there is hope for peace. There is hope for a better world. Glory to God. Let's pray. Father, we give you praise and we thank you, dear God, for this time of prayer. We thank you for Romans 5:5. We thank you for, oh my God, you who have moved in us in the person of the Holy Ghost. And Holy Ghost, we thank you for allowing love to be shed abroad in our hearts. And we thank you, God, because of this, our world has hope. The people in the world have hope, and people will know that there is a God who actually brings real transformation in the life of people. And Father, even this morning, we repent of the times we didn't respond to even attacks against us, times when we should have returned— oh my God— in love and turned the other cheek to even attacks. God, we— or did not respond with the highest level of wisdom. We repent. God, have mercy on our souls. And Father, give us the discipline that when we're stimulated, God, by things that may be offensive, things that may be coming against us, that we'll go to the space and allow you to let our conversation be yay and amen. Glory to God. To let our conversation be seasoned with hope, seasoned with grace. And we give you praise and glory for that now. Father, we thank you And we bless you and we honor you for love. Let agape, unconditional love, flow out of our life. And Father, we thank you for the ability to continue in your love even when people wrong us. And we praise you for that now, in Jesus' name. Amen. My God, today, hallelujah, hallelujah! Somebody ought to thank the Lord. Glory to God. We give him praise, we give him glory, we give him honor. For his goodness, his mercy. Let's go to Philippians, uh, chapter number 1. Philippians 1, and I'm going to read verses 9, uh, through 11. Glory to God. Philippians 1, uh, beginning, hallelujah, at verse 9 through verse 11. The Bible says, and this I pray. So listen, so we're doing the right thing, right? The Apostle Paul, uh, is saying that he prayed this too. So we're praying to walk in love. Glory to God. So this is the right thing to do. He said, this, this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment. He just repeats what I really just said. There's a space between stimulus and response where love can abound if you go to that space before you respond. Glory to God. If— I mean, if something stimulates you, uh, that is— oh, that goes against love, that's an act of hate. That— watch this— the Bible said, if you love me, you'll keep my commandments. That goes against your love for God and causes you to do something that displeases him. Knowledge and how you judge a situation, and oh God, will be secured in love when we walk in love. So our prayer this morning is that we may abound more and more in knowledge and in judgment because we allow love to be the fuel. Hallelujah! In how we move in life because of what we know. Glory to the name of God. Even about situations, even about people, even about— glory to the name of God, uh, entities that may, uh, seemingly be coming against us, like a business, or glory to the name of God, like a common, uh, enemy that keeps you in this circle. Glory to the name of God. Where you keep going through the same thing over and over again. Knowledge and judgment will be stronger when you operate in love. Watch this. This is why, verse 10, he said that you may approve the things that are excellent, that ye may be sincere and without offense. Oh God, Holy Spirit is working on us this morning. Till the day of Christ, verse 11, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ unto the glory and praise of God. Here's the operative thing here: when we operate in love, when we walk in love, uh, that walk Glory to God! Brings praise to God. That walk gives glory to God. Hallelujah! That, that walk brings forth the fruits of righteousness. My God, my God, my God, my God! It brings forth the fruit of righteousness. Hallelujah! We get filled with righteous fruits that show that God is with us. Us when we're operating in love. And wait a minute, verse 10 said we approve what's excellent when we walk in love. So watch this, you won't even find yourself in situations where you're dealing with cultures and people who will trigger you not walking in love. You know what's excellent and what's not. So you walk in love of even yourself enough that you don't approve things that are not excellent. You don't prove mediocrity. You don't approve, uh, behavior that doesn't align with the word. So you walk in love in a way where you— oh God, because how could two walk together except they agree? So you don't put yourself in spaces where you're in direct fire to those things which are less than excellent. The Bible said when you do this, you are sincere and without offense, because you're not putting yourself in a position where you can be offended, where you may be tempted— watch this— not to react in a way that may be so— not be so loving. So we want to pray this morning that love will abound more and more in knowledge and judgment. That's the foundation of it all, so that we can prove what's excellent, so we can, hallelujah, be sincere and without offense, so we can be filled with fruits of righteousness, so that we can bring glory and praise to God with the life we live, not just in singing songs. Watch this, man. The moment we start believing as a church— and I think most people in church believe this— that worship stops at singing their worship stops at lifting your hands, their worship stops at a praise break, man. The moment you believe that, you missed it. Worship is a lifestyle. Proskynatos in Greek— it's a sacrificial life that gives glory to God. And walking in love often, man, can be sacrificial. Hi, because there are some people that ain't so lovable. But we have to grow and mature. And when we see we've, we've failed in this area, we got to fix it so we don't do that again, so we don't fall short right there on another occasion. Oh boy, I got to get out of here, man. Let's pray this. Let's pray this. Father, we thank you for Philippians 1:9-11, and we decree and declare, God, we pray your word— your word declares that if we ask anything according to your will, your word, you'll do it. Your word says that angels hearken to the voice of your word. And so, Father, as we pray the word today, we declare that this word is going to come alive and come— —and be made manifest in our life, God. We decree and declare it in the mighty name of Jesus. Umbran sete de besutu rabanta rebebe dansi antala bakushai le tabanse to. So Father, we pray this morning that love would abound more and more. Hallelujah. That we will have deep knowledge and judgment concerning the things which are excellent, that we may prove the things which are excellent, God, that we may be filled with the fruits of righteousness. Glory to God, that we may judge situations adequately. And Father, we thank you that as love abounds in our heart, as we have an abundance of love that overflows out of our life and impacts how we walk how we live, how we react. We thank you, God, that our life will give praise, our life will give worship, our life will bring glory to God. And we bless you for it now. In— We thank you for the abundance of love. Let it pour, let it pour, Let it pour. Glory to God. Let it pour out of our lives so that with the same love and kindness we walk in, you will draw others to you. For you said in your word, with love and kindness have I drawn thee. So we thank you that our love will draw others to you. In the mighty name of Jesus, we thank you for abounding love. Amen. Oh, come on, bless the Lord. Just bless the Lord. Hallelujah. We're moving. 1 John. Thank you, Jesus. 1 John 5. Thank you, Father, for your word. We give you praise for your word, God. Hallelujah. 1 John 5. 1 John 5. He's a good God. He's a mighty— I'm sorry, 1 John 2, verse 5. That's what I want. 1 John 2, verse 5. Oh boy, the Bible says, but whosoever keepeth his word— man, the Holy Ghost is working on us this morning. Whoever keeps his word. So, oh boy, whoever keeps his word. Terio in Greek, keep it. That's a verb. That word is a verb, and it literally means— watch this— like a military fortress, to guard, to stand watch, to attend to carefully. Uh, terios in Greek, or terio, means to stand watch. So, so every waking moment and minute of our life— hear me, family— we should be standing guard. And again, man, this is easier in uh, vernacular than it is in practice. But we have to pray about this every day, that the Holy Ghost will help us to practice guarding the word. Wait a minute, come here, David. David said, thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against— oh, Oh God, that I might not sin against thee, my God, today. So listen, listen, hold up, hold up, hold up. So if I'm guarding the word, if I marry the word and keep my vows to the word, that's what this That's what terio deals with. If I do that, the Bible says here, in him, the one that keeps the word, verily, or seriously, is the love of God perfected. Oh, oh God. Perfected is teleios, not terio or teleou. Teleou in Greek, which means the love of God is complete. It is matured. So when you keep the word, the more you keep it, God says, I look at that as a serious matter that you are disciplining yourself to keep the word, to guard it so that your life looks like the word at all times. My God, again, it is so much easier in vernacular that it is practiced. But we have to discipline ourselves to guard this word daily so that God can look and say, man, I'm serious, let me mature them in love. In other words, it becomes easier to walk in love. It becomes easier to walk in the love of God when you guard the word, when the word is a priority. Hallelujah. When you'll never allow yourself to color outside the lines of God's word. Oh God, he said if you do that, love— the love of God is perfected hereby. Watch this. Hereby. By this. Not by how gifted you are. Not by how anointed you are. Not by how loud you are. Come on. Not, not by, not by your title. By this we know that we are in him. Okay, when your love is mature and complete and you're guarding the word, that is an indication that you are in him. It will be made clear that you and him are aligned and that you are one with God. You're not living out here on your own doing what you want to do. You ain't just out here crazy, right? You are aligned and you doing what God says. Ah, again, it's not how long you've been saved, not how good you are, what you do. It's by this, man. It's by keeping that word. It's not because you shook the preacher's hand and joined the church. That, that literally, uh, means nothing to your growth until you actually get in that building and start growing. Glory to the name of God. And, and submit to the word and start keeping the word in your life. This is how we know that we're in him. Glory to God. Let's pray it. Father, we give you praise, and I pray right now in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the matchless name of our King of Kings and our Lord of Lords, I decree and declare this morning that every person under the sound of my voice would get a discipline like never before to keep the word, to tereo, to guard it. Glory to the name of God. To stand watch over it, to ensure that their life is being driven by the principles that are contained in the word of the living God. I decree and declare God in the ashiko shabba, lebandora mandeko in the mighty name of Jesus. Glory to God. I decree and declare now, God, ha shibuntu rabatai, lebesiku talabandi ansa, that as we keep the word, our love will mature, it'll be perfected, and we can easily walk in love. We can easily display who you are to the world because we keep the word, we guard the word. Glory to God. And thank you that when we do this, we will be clear without a doubt that we are in you. And I declare every person under the sound of my voice is in you. I declare that every person under the sound of my voice, glory to God, is interested in perfecting love so that they could perfect godly character in their lives, in our lives. God, we praise you for it, in Jesus' name. Amen. Glory, glory. I'm telling— I don't know what y'all— I don't know if y'all feel what I'm feeling this morning, but I'm telling you, this thing, walking in love, can turn your whole life around if if you allow it. Uh, go to John 13. Saint John 13:34 is what I want. John 13 and— hallelujah— 34. Glory to God. What a mighty God we serve. 13:34. Praise God. He says, a new commandment I give unto you. Y'all ready? That you love one another as I have loved you. Oh God, that ye also love one another. I think Rodney King made a statement after the LAPD beat him up, and he said, can we all just get along. All he was saying, can we just love one another? And so many people in our past, in history, uh, have advocated for us loving each other, whether it be in a voice that was representing civil rights, whether it was our parents trying to teach us to get along The reality is this is something that has been in our forefront for most people for most of our lives. Here's the reality: most people, when they start going through experiences and trauma that snatches them out of the realm of walking in love, they start loving themselves. Watch this. And you should love yourself, but you can love yourself so much That is too much because it becomes too much when you cannot love anyone but you. Oh, okay. Yeah, you love you way too much when the only person you care about is you. So this text speaks directly— watch this— to human selfishness, how Humans have a— and listen, you know, everybody's got a story. So a lot of people retreat to this selfish, uh, self-preservation that says it's me, my four, and no more. And a lot of times you have people in families that don't really care about the family, they just really care about them, and they'll the, the mechanics of the family is not working for them, you know, they're frustrated, they're mad, they're angry all the time. The reality is love has the ability to navigate through any storm that arises when it ain't about you. You, you know how to set you aside and give somebody else what they need. So John is saying, listen, this is a new commandment. I— because apparently these folk wasn't getting it. He said, listen, y'all— and if you study the history of this text, you'll see where they were bickering. They were in strong debate with each other. The reality is we gotta love each other, man. And especially in the body Christ, we gotta love one another. We gotta get along. We gotta operate in godly love so that the world can see this love we have for each other. And watch this— want to be saved, want to come to God, want to be a part of what we're doing. Glory to God. We gotta love without dissimulation, without prejudice. We gotta love one another— watch this— how he loved us. And that's right, Nicole, that's unconditional. That's agape. It's without condition. God loves us for love alone, and as his servants, we must learn to love his people— watch this— for love alone. We gotta love each other for love alone, without prejudice. And like I said in the beginning, there are some people who are unlovable. They, they just do all kind of stuff to put you in a position where this becomes very hard. But the reality is, when it's all said and done, we still have to walk in love. Glory to God. Even if we have a run-in, or you have a run-in with somebody else, and, and they give you a black eye, you give them a black eye. At the end of the day, when that's over, everybody need to repent, and you still need to walk in love. Okay, you know why? Because that's what God would do. That's what Jesus would do. That's how he loved you. Oh, y'all don't believe it. He was wounded for your transgressions. Wounded. And he, he was wounded for our transgressions just because he loves us. That's how he loves us. The chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes— what stripes? He was beaten with this bear claw whip that every time they struck him, it took skin off his body. Oh, and he got— he was beaten with many stripes for our healing. That's how he loves us. Tall order, right? But it becomes easier. Watch this. When we pray like we're praying to walk in love— because I'm telling you, you know, there are some people out there unlovable. It's hard, it's hard, but it can be accomplished. I mean, they present this unlovable persona and they do things that just make you just, you know, I don't want to love you. But the reality is we got to. Glory to God, we We got to do it if God is in us, right? Okay, so let's pray this, man. Let's pray that God would give us the strength and the ability to love one another. Let's pray. Father, we give you praise. And Father, I'm simply asking God, even as the Apostle John began to minister and pen this epistle, that we love one another as you have loved us. First of all, God, I'm asking you give us a revelation a revelation, a revelation of how you loved us. God, continue on a daily basis to refresh our memory on the great love you gave to us. For God, I believe that if we're constantly reminded of your work, your efficacious, vicarious, substitutionary work of Calvary, God, of how you sacrifice for us. Glory to God. Hallelujah. We will be inclined to be very deliberate in loving each other. Woo! God. Oh God, let us advocate love. Let us show love. Let us do demonstrations of love. Love toward each other on a daily basis, just how you love us. And we praise you for it, in Jesus' name. Hallelujah! Oh, give God some praise if you will. How God is good! God is good! Woo! My God, this is good today. 1 John, go back to 1 John 4. Hallelujah. And 18. 1 John 4:18. I'm just giving you these scriptures the way the Lord's given them to me, in the same order. Hallelujah. We're praying the word, guys. We're praying this morning. If you're just joining us, to walk in love. This is what we're— and we're again, we're aligning the word of God. Hallelujah. With this. Glory to God. Hallelujah. We give God praise, we give God glory, we give God honor. Uh, 1 John 4:18, the Bible says, there is no fear in love. Wow, I love it. But perfect love casts out fear, because fear has torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. So anytime— so this verse is just telling us that fear and love, uh-oh, are inept to each other. Fear and love can't even stay in the same room. Are y'all here? Y'all out there? So if you're walking in love, it's impossible to walk in fear at the same time. So if you're operating in fear or insecurity, glory to God. Hmm, another form of this fear, which is dehelia in Greek— and watch this, this is amazing— that dehelia and phobos is in the same verse. There's no fear, dehelia, which is a cowardice from fright in love, which is— that's the first part of the verse. But then when it says perfect love casts out fear, it casts out phobos, which is, uh, what we get words like phobia, which is the manifestation of the cowardice from fright. So let me give an example. Some people have like zoophobia fear, that's the fear of animals. So, but God says if you're walking in love, watch this, and you know he loves you, I mean, you could walk by 10 pit bulls. Glory to Jesus. And you know those pit bulls won't harm you because you walking in love. My God. Because you're walking under the auspices of a God that loves you unconditionally. Watch this. There's some people that won't get on the boat, won't go on the cruise because they have hydrophobia fear. They're afraid of water. They won't get on that boat because there's too much water for them. And they be saying stuff like, that's too much water for me to drink. Saved it as they want to be, just got through shouting and speaking in tongues, but fear the water. But if you understand God really loves you unconditionally, and if you really are operating in love the way you should with people, fear can't even be in your space. Again, they're inept to each other. They can't share the same space. They cannot occupy the same volumes. Perfect love, mature love, cast this fear out, because God doesn't want you walking in fear, because fear will torment you. And torment— watch this— is not so much just being freaky or afraid of something constantly just scaring you. But torment here, the word— watch, got the word, uh, which is, uh, kolasis, uh, K-O-L-A-S-I-S, uh, is the Greek word kolasis, and it means to be restricted from abundance, to be restricted from enjoyment of the life God provides. So many times people won't enjoy things like I just said, like cruise, uh, or God, flying on an airplane, something that's simple, because they have acrophobia fear. Uh, the reality is you're being restricted from enjoyment because God knows, you know, flying It's better than driving. I mean, if you want to go to California, flying's better than driving any day, right? Okay, I ain't driving in California. I'm the only drive I'm doing to California is I'm driving to Hartsfield. I'm driving to the airport and I'm getting on the plane because that's too far to drive. I've done it in my past when I didn't have the means, but listen, there are people who have the means who won't fly. It's okay, we're just gonna take a drive because they're afraid to get on the plane. Listen, that's torment. You're, you're tormenting yourself in that car because you're restricting yourself from enjoying something you're afraid of. But when you walk in love, you know God's got you. Yeah, I know all the flights I've taken, you know, probably, you know, well over 2 million miles in my life in, in the air. Something to happen on one of them planes. I, I've seen it with my own eyes on one, but because God loves me, I never feared one time because I knew the plane couldn't go down because I— hear me— was on it. The love of God had me covered. So I want to challenge you, man, walk in love so you don't torment yourself, so that you don't restrict the things that you could really be enjoying and things in life because you're, you're afraid. Watch this, something as simple— and I'm moving, guys, because we got to go. Listen, something as simple as— okay, watch this— you fear love for real. You can't really commit to someone and give yourself totally to them because you were so hurt or traumatized in the past because somebody else who said they loved you dropped you. And so now you're afraid to fall in love again. I don't know who this is for. Oh, and that's torment because, watch this, one, God loves you enough to heal you and make you whole if you allow him. He loves you enough to give you someone else. I get it, it's harder to put yourself back in that place when you've been dropped. I get it, because you don't want to be dropped again. Because when, when you love somebody and they drop you, it ain't no drop like 2 feet drop. It's like somebody taking you on top of the Peachtree Plaza Hotel in Atlanta downtown, the Western, and grabbing you by both of your wrists and dangling you over there saying, I love you, but that's the risk of love. They got you dangling over the side saying, I ain't gonna drop you, and you're trusting they won't drop you. That's what love is when you're in love with another person. But watch this, they do something and they let you go. That's a long fall, and it's a lot. I get it, to get up there again, but it's fear that's tormenting you from going back in that place because God loves you completely. And I hear you, oh, if God loved me completely, why he let him drop me in the first place? Because our crisis— we taught this in leadership class last night train us and teach us, hallelujah, about our motives and about ourselves. And so God allows crisis so we can learn more about him and ourselves. Let's pray this, guys, because perfect love casts out fear. Glory to God. Because we want to walk in love, we want to walk in his power. Glory to God. We want to walk in his anointing. Praise God. Hallelujah. Let's pray. 1 John 4:18. Father, we give you praise and we thank you for this word. We thank you for perfect love. And I just declare again that love will be perfected in the life of every person under the sound of my voice. I decree and declare that no weapon formed against your children, your people, will be able to prosper. And God, at every turn and in every place, I declare that we will win. I thank you, God, that we will not be afraid. We will not be tormented by fear. As a matter of fact, you also said in Luke 21:26 that men's heart would fail them for fear. Not the heart that's 6 inches below the collarbone, our sick, our, our physical heart, but God, our center, our heart, our kardia in Greek, our center of moral and— oh my God, life. Hallelujah. Our life center is our heart, God. But out of the abundance of the heart flows the issues of life. So Father, I thank you that our life center won't fail because we're afraid, because we will choose to walk in love, and we will walk in love and allow our love to be matured and perfected so that it will cast out fear. In the name of Jesus, we declare it to be so. Amen. And thanks be to God. My God, today I pray y'all getting something out of this, this morning. I pray that— oh, you feel Jesus like I do. Glory to God. I pray that the love of God is being stirred up in your life. Glory to God. In your heart, in your mind. Glory to God. And in your spirit. Glory to God. We're going to pray one more scripture. I, I'm not even through, I'm just going to stop. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Let's go to 1 Corinthians 3:6. Praise God. We're running out of time. Let's go to 1 Corinthians 3:6. Father, we love you. We thank you for love. We thank you for your people. People walking in love. I decree and declare that the love of God— hey, yeah, 1 Corinthians 3:6, the Bible says this, glory to God: I have planted— here we go, hallelujah— I have planted, Apollos has watered, word. Glory to God. But God gave the increase. Now wait a minute, somebody might say, well, Apostle, what does that have to do with walking in love? Well, first of all, we see the Apostle Paul operating in his assignment, right? And I'm not gonna be long with this. It takes love— watch this— to move in obedience to God for real, to operate in your assignment, to plant as God tells you to plant. You are a walking seedbed of love. The whole purpose that God gave you an assignment on this earth to advance his kingdom is that there are seeds inside of you that you have to plant in people you are called to plant. There's people of ground that are walking around out there that you gotta in love sow seed into. So he says, I plant, Apollos waters. So in some instances, you will be the person that sows to those who will be assigned to your voice, assigned to your gift. In some instances, you'll simply water what's already been planted, and God will give the increase. But you will never take on this agricultural mindset. This, in the, in the natural, ain't no way you could give me a job as a farmer. I'm just not doing it. I'm not milking cows, I'm not plowing fields. That's a lot of work. You get up really early and you come in really late. You get— okay, okay, so y'all get what I'm saying. You gotta love it. Farmers love the ground, they love the outside, they love the animals, and it's the love that drives them to plant, that drives them to water. God, my mother-in-law loves outside. She's— I mean, she's— she gets up and goes out in her yard and gets in that, puts her hands in that dirt, man, and deals with her plants and deals with her yard, and she'll stay out there all day. It don't matter how hot it is because she loves it. You gotta love that to do it. And anything really that you're sowing seed into, anything that you're watering, you're gonna have to love it to do it. Glory to God. To give it your time, to give it your intellect, to give it your energy, there's got to be love. And so this scripture, I mean, as simple as this one verse is, it says that love— really, love is not even in the verse, but it speaks loudly that love is the key to increase. If you're building something, you got to love what you're doing so that you keep planting, you keep watering, so now God can give the increase. But if you don't love it enough to keep working, to keep doing it then increase never comes. Oh boy, if you, if you, if you're haphazard toward it— I mean, if you're building a marriage, building a relationship, you got to love your spouse enough to keep planting, to keep watering, so that you're reaping the harvest from your spouse, the increase from your spouse. Glory to the name of God. Of love— if you sow love, you get love. Love has the ability to bring increase in your life. Through the hand of God, because it will fuel you to plant and to water. Let's pray that. Father, we give you praise, we give you glory. Thank you that some plant, some water, and God give the increase. Thank you that many of us on this live this morning, or by replay, I decree and declare that we have an anointing. Glory to God. Hallelujah! To plant. We have an anointing, glory to the name of God, to water. And we thank you that as we fall in love with our assignment, as we fall in love with sharing the gospel, as we fall in love with being kingdom leaders, as we fall in love with what you positioned us to do, God, we will constantly plant, we will constantly water, and we won't try to bring the increase ourselves. We'll do what you tell us in planting and watering, and we thank you that according to this word, you will bring the increase. So Father, I release supernatural clarity and instructions. I declare that the assignment on the life of your people this morning will be made clear, and that they will begin to walk in love and fall in love with it, God, and they'll do it in season and out. That they'll do it when they don't even feel like doing it. They'll do it in the name of Jesus because they understand that love is a verb and love requires sacrifice. And we thank you for our love walk, God. Glory to God. We declare we will walk in love in the mighty name of Jesus. So be it, and thanks be to God. Amen. Glory to God. I gotta quit. I'm just quitting. I'll finish this prayer another time, but I believe the Holy Spirit got us where we needed to be. I did a lot more teaching today. Glory to God. Praise God. Hallelujah. And I wanted to make sure that we understand really what it meant— hallelujah— to walk in love. And we praise him for that. Glory to God, we thank him for that. My alarm is going off saying you've been talking too long. I love you guys with the love of the Lord, man. Listen, if you desire to be a blessing to this ministry, I'm going to put the ways to give at the bottom of the screen. Get your seed in the ground, praise God, and be a blessing. I want to appreciate everyone. I know it takes a lot Praise God, to get up at 5. Hallelujah. And tap into, uh, these teachings. Praise God. Um, but I want you to know, I— it doesn't go unnoticed. I appreciate you. Praise God. And I thank God for you, your diligence. Many of you, you don't miss a 5 o'clock prayer. And there are many of you that actually expected— you're looking for for it. And I appreciate your love for prayer. Glory to God. And I know it's a little unconventional. We ain't hump, we ain't tuning up, we're not doing a whole lot of hollering. But I believe that the Bible says again, we ask according to his will and he will perform it. So we're doing it, we're praying the word, we're praying like the word tells us to pray. And so thank you for showing up, thank you for being here. Uh, again, no pressure, Get your seed in the ground. Give, give to God. Bless this ministry so we can continue to do the things that God has called us to do. We love you. We bless you. Remember, Rada, we're fasting today. Uh, our fast concludes at 3 o'clock PM. Uh, water only. And I challenge you guys, walk in the word today. Glory to God. I promise you, if you do it, you'll see great results. Y'all be blessed. Peace.
