5 AM Prayer with Apostle Mike Woods | 17 March 2026

Apostle Mike Woods leads a 5 AM prayer on receiving divine wisdom as the foundation for exercising God-given dominion. He traces wisdom through James, Proverbs, and Colossians, explaining the Greek concept of Sophia and emphasizing that wisdom means applying knowledge God's way in leadership, marriage, and business. Woods urges daily discipline: rise early for prayer, read one proverb daily for a month.

All right, family, pleasant good morning to everyone. This is the day the Lord has made. And we shall rejoice. Glory to God. And be glad in it. I pray everybody is well. Do me a favor, family, um, I need you to share this. Glory to God. I need you to share this. Glory to the name of Jesus. Um, somebody needs this, and I want to make sure they get it. And one of the ways we do that is that we share. So please share, uh, send out that last text if you need to, to let someone know we're praying this morning. I believe God's going to break us through to something very special special today. Uh, so please, uh, glory to the name of God, I need you to kindly, kindly, right, kindly, I need you to share this morning. Glory to God. And we thank God for his goodness, his mercy, his grace, his kindness toward us. Glory to God. There's no God like our God, man. He's, he's just good. He's perfectly and absolutely wise. It's, it's in him we live and move have our being. Glory to God. He's a good God. He's a mighty God. He's a glorious God. He's an everlasting King. Glory to God. He's the Lord. Praise the name of Jesus. Of everything, my God. He's a Lord of every single thing. What a mighty God we serve. What a great God he is. Praise God. Uh, he's such a good God, such a good God, such a good God. And we thank him and we bless him and we honor him for his goodness and his mercy, his kindness and his grace, his favor. He's so good, he's so kind, so, so real, man. So mighty and so awesome. Glory to God. We give him praise and glory this morning. Hallelujah. Glory to God. I don't know what's happening with my camera. Glory to God. Doing some crazy stuff, but God is good. Hallelujah! He's good anyhow. Wonderful Jesus, we bless his name. Glory to God, glory to God. Yeah, we're just gonna let it be. Glory to Jesus, wonderful Savior. Yeah, please guys, do me a favor. I need you to share this. Praise God. Uh, it's just nice to be nice, and you know, I believe if you share somebody will be blessed. Glory to God. I believe if you share, glory to God, God will honor you for that. So please, let's make sure, uh, we're getting that done. Tag someone below, uh, let them know we are live this morning. Glory to God. And we're gonna pray this morning about wisdom and dominion. You know, in order to walk out the dominion mandate, uh, it requires wisdom, man. And So when I opened my eyes this morning, the Lord said we need to pray through to wisdom. And so we're gonna walk through the word this morning concerning wisdom. Praise God. The Bible says wisdom is the principal thing. Praise the name of Jesus. And the reality is that simply means it's the main thing. It's the thing that brings, uh, what you are hoping for, what you are envisioning, wisdom is the actual thing that brings that to pass. And the main thing we should be pursuing God for, hear me family, is dominion, is for dominion to come alive, glory to the name of God, in us and for God to get the glory out of our lives. So we are gonna pray through the wisdom this morning. Is that all right? And I believe, glory to God, if we do that, something great and mighty is going to happen for us. Praise the name of God. So let's open the word. Let's do that. And then we're going to dive right into this. Praise God. Hallelujah. Glory to God. We love you, Jesus. We love you. We love you. We praise your great name. Haya sotu rangiska tatataba sotu rangise. We bless you, God. We bless you, God. We bless you, God. Hallelujah. We bless you, God. We bless you, God. So before we start, we're gonna walk through some scriptures, but, uh, before we start, I want you to say this to me. Say, Father, glory to God, you said in your word, if anyone lacks wisdom, say that with me, let him ask of you who gives to all men liberally. Say it in the name of Jesus and upbraideth not. Say in the name of Jesus. It shall be given to me. Say, therefore I ask in faith, nothing wavering, to be filled with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. In all wisdom, praise God, and spiritual understanding. Say, today I incline my ear to hear your voice. And to follow your guidance that you will give to me. Say, I decree and declare that I will be wise in all things in the name of Jesus. So be it. Glory to God. All right, so let's dive in this word, man. Uh, James chapter number 1. Praise God. We give God praise. Hallelujah. Whoa, I love him, he's so good, man. I love him, he's so good. Oh Jesus. The Bible says this: if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God. Well, and so let me just start right there, right? So again, wisdom and dominion. You cannot and you will not operate as a person of dominion. You will not see dominion manifest in your sphere of influence in your life without wisdom. All right? Okay. So, and wisdom here in the text comes from a Greek word, Sophia. And it's actually spelled like the female name Sophia. It's a feminine connotation. Um, because many a times women, one, they mature a lot quicker than male species, uh, two, um, many a times women are more wise in a lot of ways. Uh, we don't like to admit that, um, and at the end of the day, if you allow— if you cover a woman, lead her well, and allow her to flow in her wisdom She'll add great value to your life. Uh, the reality is, um, some men don't— are not secure enough to allow that, but that's really a part of what being a helpmate is, uh, allowing the wisdom of the female to amalgamate with the wisdom of the man and really enhance the oneness and make the marriage effective. Another message for another day, but again, dominion in marriage, dominion in life, you gotta have wisdom and you gotta be very attentive 'cause wisdom is sensitive as well. It doesn't bond or attract to those that do not desire it. So just because you got saved, are y'all ready for this? Okay, I'm here this morning for real. Doesn't mean you got wise, okay? Yeah, boy, just because you got born again, praise God, doesn't mean you got wise, okay? Just because you came to Jesus just as you was, weary, wounded, and sad, and you found in him a resting place, and he has made you glad, doesn't mean you got wise. Matter of fact, there's a whole lot of folk that have confessed Jesus who are the most unwise people on earth. But if you really want to take dominion and live an effective maximized life, you gotta have wisdom. And that's why James said, first of all, if you lack wisdom, ask of God. So that's what we're gonna do first when we pray. We just made a confession that aligns with this, but I'm about to pray the scripture as well. The reality is, you got, in order to know you lack it, okay, guess what? You gotta be honest with yourself, honest with God. And say, okay, I lack this, God, give me wisdom, right? You, you'll never ask God for something you think you already have. The Bible says, if any man lack wisdom, let him ask God, right? So again, there's a whole lot of unwise, challenged, saved folk, man, who are not walking in wisdom. They do crazy stuff, make crazy decisions. But this morning I want you to ask God for wisdom in those areas where you need wisdom as we pray this. Amen. 'Cause it says, if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God that giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not. Hear this. And it shall be given to him. Verse number 6. But let him ask in faith. Watch this. Nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave tossed with the wind. Like a wave of a sea driven with the wind and tossed. So in other words, if you don't ask for wisdom in faith, you're again not gonna receive it and you're gonna still be driven by every wind. You're gonna be tossed all over the place. You're gonna wrestle with flesh. You're gonna wrestle with people. Matter of fact, when I got up, I posted something because it was in my heart. You know, you gotta settle this, man. Settle it, okay? Settle this, okay? Settle this. Stop wrestling— hear me— with flesh, with people. Wrestle in the spirit, wrestle in glory, so that the Holy Ghost can smash the things that attack you. The reality is you can't— it's not wise to spend your time wrestling with and emotional attacks. Some of you are battling, it's just not wisdom, and it's creating a distraction because you get all tied up emotionally and it's creating a distraction, glory to God, that's causing you, hear me family, oh my goodness, Lord, I thank you, to be delayed, out of sync, out of alignment with God, and you cannot afford to do it. So this morning, wherever the lack of wisdom is, Let's ask God, let's pray. So Father, in Jesus' name, James told us here that if we lack wisdom, let us ask of you. So here we are, God, this morning praying together, touching and agreeing, uh, as brothers and sisters. God, we come to you as your family, and we thank you, Father, for the opportunity to be filled with wisdom. And so Father, in the name of Jesus, wherever we lack wisdom this morning, Wherever we make decisions that are not wise, God, we're asking you in the name of Jesus, in faith, to supply wisdom to us. And so right now, even as we ask for it, God, we believe that we receive it. We believe that it is upon us. We believe that wisdom will overtake us now. Yes, God, in the mighty name of Jesus, in, in our finances, wisdom in our business decisions, wisdom in our ministry decisions, wisdom in our lives, God, we We won't miss it to the left nor to the right because God, in the name of Jesus, we will operate in the spirit of Sophia, the spirit of wisdom, glory to God, which is skill and ability that comes from heaven. So we thank you for supernatural skill and ability to maximize life and to move in a wisdom in a way that dominion, God, will be manifested in our life and in our sphere of influence. And we declare it now, Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Amen. And thanks be to God. My God. Hallelujah. You ought to give God some praise. Thank you, Jesus. You ought to give him some glory. He's worthy of that. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. We give you praise. We bless your name, God. We thank you. We thank you. God. For wisdom, we thank you and we receive it in faith. Hallelujah. In the mighty name of Jesus. Let's go to Corinthians 1. Glory to God. And verse number 30. Praise God. 1:30. 1 Corinthians 1:30. 1 Corinthians 1:30. Praise God. I love you, Jesus. We bless you, God. Watch The Bible says, but of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God, listen to this, is made unto us wisdom. I love this. And righteousness and sanctification and redemption. Now, now listen to this. He's talking to us. We're the church, right? So he says, we are in Christ, who God has made through Christ, oh, watch this, wisdom, righteousness, and sanctification. Do y'all hear that? I mean, do y'all hear that? Okay. I mean, for real, do you hear it? So if you say you shouldn't just, 'cause here's what the church does. We jump over wisdom. We jump over it. Okay. 'Cause again, the only way you can have dominion is with wisdom. The only way with, again, with supernatural, Sophia, supernatural skill and ability. That's what the New Testament word means, supernatural skill and ability. Inside of all of us is that. Okay, are you, are you ready? We jump over that and we'll, we'll run after the righteousness, run after the sanctification, run after the redemption. But Christ is also wisdom. Again, so you should not be an unwise child of God. It doesn't make sense. You have the ability to have supernatural intelligence, supernatural skill, supernatural abilities, and that is wisdom, family. So Jesus is in you. You should be operating at the level of wisdom. I'm pulling here that Jesus carries. Mm. Oh God. Oh my God. So, so, so, so watch this. We know he is omniscient. He has all knowledge, all wisdom. So I should be operating at the depth of supernatural skill and ability that Jesus operates at. Okay, again, you gotta have faith to believe this so you can receive it, right? Yeah, you gotta have faith to believe this so you can receive it. So we should be operating at the level of wisdom that Jesus operates at. This is how this happens. It happens when we rise for 5:00 AM prayer. It happens when we sacrifice to, Watch this, allow the word to multiply and increase in our life by hearing teaching, by assembling ourselves together. Listen to this, by obeying God on a day-to-day basis and drawing close to him. You don't just get this because you woke up. No, you got to receive it and you gotta allow it to manifest in your life. Glory to God. So let's pray this, that we will align with the character traits of Christ. And the, watch this, gifts. These are 4 gifts that come with getting saved. Wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. Oh, and all those other things I could teach all day on, I won't, because we're praying about wisdom. I need you to receive the wisdom of Christ, just like you receive the saving blood of Jesus to redeem you. You. Just like you see, receive the righteousness of Jesus to cleanse you and bring purity in your heart. Are y'all with me? Oh my God. Just like you— yeah, some folk don't receive the sanctification because that's being set aside for assignment and purpose and living for him. And there's a whole lot of safe folk not doing that neither. But the reality is, another message for another day, but you, you have to Hear me, receive the wisdom of God. You gotta receive it. So, so let's pray. Let's pray that we will receive that in its fullness and in its authority. So Father, we give you praise. We thank you for your wisdom. We thank you that the moment we received you, your wisdom, your wisdom was made available to us. And so dear God, I thank you in the name of Jesus that every person upon the sound of my voice and myself, God, that we will maximize your wisdom at the highest level of movement, your skill, your intellect, your ability, God, your tools, your resources, your ability to discern. This is all wisdom. And so Father, let Sophia reign and manifest in our lives so that our steps are ordered toward dominion, so we can be trusted, oh yeah, with dominion because we have wisdom, We can be trusted with dominion in our fear of influence. Oh God. And lekumbo sikata tabandia. Sometimes I thank you, Lord. I hear that sometimes dominion is delayed, family, because you can't be trusted with what he wants to manifest in your life. You can't be trusted with it because you're unwise. And that's— and I talked about this Sunday night. A lot of saints of God are stuck. A lot of saints of God do not move into dominion, do not elevate into the realms of glory that he would decide for us to go into because we're stuck in an unwise pattern of thinking. And God says, I wanna release new intelligence, new resources, my God, hallelujah, new ideas, new innovations, new tools, new intellect, new abilities, new skills that have always been with you. I wanna release it upon you now and get you out of that old rut you've been in. It. Glory to God. And you think that's working, but it's strong delusion because it's not working. God says, I want to give you some wisdom to shift. Yeah, everybody on the side of my voice, I hear that this is for you. He's, he's releasing this morning the wisdom to pivot, the wisdom to shift. Glory to God. The wisdom to use where you are, glory to God, as a springboard. No matter if you're in a season of trial and tribulation, to use where you are as a springboard to the next dimension because you're stuck in a reality that's not rooted in wisdom. And God says, I'm trying to catapult you into new spaces, new places. My God, today, this morning of Dominion, glory to God. E la basoto koshiantai. Yeah, God, we give you the glory. Somebody ought to praise him. Somebody ought to praise him. Glory to God. Somebody ought to give him glory. Hallelujah for the springboard, for for supernatural intelligence, skill, and ability. Glory to God for supernatural resources and access because of wisdom. God's gonna allow you to access things you never accessed before. My God, I need y'all to receive this, man. I really do. I wish y'all would hear me this morning. Wisdom is so important. Matter of fact, and we're gonna get to this, but it's the principle thing. Thing. Praise God. It's the principle thing. I know we want to jump, shout, speak in tongues, spit, blow bubbles, have somebody lift us up and body slam us in the spirit. Glory to God. And we lay on the floor. The reality is that none of that matters if you're unwise. I'm gonna say that again. None of that matters if you're unwise. Glory to God. So, so God says, I don't want to just give you my righteousness, my redemption, my rescue. Glory to God. My sanctification and things that come with all those beautiful traits, but I also want you wise. Hear me, family, hear me. Let's go to Colossians 1:9. Let's pray it. Woo! Lord, I love you. Glory to God. I feel Jesus this morning. Thank you all that thought it not robbery to get up this morning and pray. Praise God. Thank you. Thank you. And listen, glory to God, if perhaps any Tuesday, I'm trying to cause you to become apostolic people of prayer. Are y'all hearing this? Where you make apostolic sacrifices for prayer. You know, some people ain't gonna get it because they lazy, right? And, and they think that things are just going to come with them doing things the same way all the time and being redundant and, and having these, uh, repudiated experiences that do not mirror growth or increase. But if you really want to tap in, you got to learn to rise early and pray, right? You got to learn learn not just to do this with me on Tuesday. Mm-hmm. Okay. You gotta learn not to do it because I asked you to be here. You gotta learn to set aside an hour and get up early enough before you run into your day to spend time with God every day. These are the dominion sacrifices I told y'all Sunday night. You cannot listen. And if you weren't at church Sunday night, the live is up. You need to go back and watch it because you cannot Glory to the name of God. Do what everybody else is doing and expect to be a person of dominion. This is why very few people have dominion. Are y'all hearing me? 'Cause everybody's doing the same thing. You gotta make sacrifices that mirror a dominion lifestyle. One of those sacrifices is rising early for prayer. Somebody say, "Oh, Apostle, what you talking about? I don't get up that early. I pray when I get up." No, well, get up. Get up and make the sacrifice. The Bible speaks of rising early to seek him. Are y'all hearing this? All right, Colossians, Colossians 1:9. Let me read. I went off on a tangent for a moment, but I'm back. Glory to God. The Bible said, for this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you and to desire that you might be filled, watch this, with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. How important is this, man? That not only you have a knowledge of his will for you. So let's, let's just generalize without being specific to everyone. One thing we've clear about, and I've been teaching, uh, right now it's a 17-part message. On Thursday it'll be an 18-part message. Glory to God. On the mystery of dominion, we are clear on one thing. If we ain't clear on nothing else, his will is for us to have dominion and to do the things required to take dominion. Okay, it— this is why many folk don't teach this. They don't touch it because it's a lot of responsibility. But it's the— it's a mandate. It don't just happen. It's work that has to be done to actually flow into dominion. Are y'all with me? Okay, so We don't wanna just know his will for us to take dominion. We want to have a knowledge of his will in wisdom. So we want the wisdom, here we go again, the skill, the ability, the intellect, the tools, the resources. Are y'all with me? The attributes of God, hehehe, to fulfill his will. Along with the spiritual understanding. Watch this. Notice he said wisdom and spiritual understanding. So here's another place I wanna show you that we jump over wisdom. Good God have mercy. We jump right into spiritual understanding. I just wanna get the word. I wanna understand. Okay, great. You, you should, but you oughta also want some wisdom to do that word. Some tools to carry that word out. And see it come alive in your life. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, so let's pray this morning. Oh my God, let's pray this morning that we will know his will in all wisdom in addition to spiritual understanding. And if you walk with me, you understand I'm gonna make sure you have— as, as a teacher that God has called, I'm gonna make sure you have spiritual understanding. But you should also pray through to spiritual understanding. You shouldn't be totally dependent upon what you get taught. This again is why prayer is important. And watch it, perhaps if one Tuesday— I do this every day— so perhaps on Tuesday I, I get up at 5 and start praying and I don't make it on the live, you know, I anticipate you guys will do pray anyway. Joyfully-yam. Keep praying, not just because I'm here. You should go after God for yourself because it just needs to be a daily habit. I don't know why I'm stuck right there. Glory to God. Okay, so the Bible said, for this cause also— I'm gonna read it again— we heard it, we do not cease to pray for you. So watch this. Since we heard what, what they were going through, what they were dealing with here in Colossians, We started praying for you, and we wanted you to be filled one with the knowledge of his will. So I want you to be filled with that knowledge that God's will, regardless to how that comes forth, it all ties back to the Genesis 1:26 will of dominion. He wants you to be a dominator. The people of God, we should be ruling in our sphere of influence, point blank, in story, right? So, but we want to have the knowledge of that will in wisdom. We want to have the tools to carry it out. So let's pray. So Father, oh God, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for your people today. This morning, I thank you for the spirit of wisdom. I thank you for the spirit of wisdom. Let it pour, let it pour, let it pour out upon us this morning, God. And God, we thank you that you give us opportunities to receive spiritual understanding. We thank you for the knowledge of your will. Continue to fill us with knowledge of your will. But God, we come boldly this morning and say, Father, we desire wisdom to carry your will out. We don't wanna miss it again to the left nor to the right. We wanna be accurate. We don't wanna struggle in fulfillment of your will. And where your wisdom is present, it eliminates struggle. And toil. Glory to God. Mm. Because you know all things. You know the ins and outs of everything. And so Father, I thank you. Thank you for the process and the struggle and the toil being eliminated through wisdom. God, thank you that we will see your will come forth. We will see your plans and your dreams for us come forth. We will see, glory to God, Hallelujah. The prophetic words that have been spoken over our life that have, are genuinely and authentically from you, we will see those words come to pass and we will operate in wisdom so we can be trusted with the manifestation of what you have spoken. And we praise you for it now in the mighty name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Woo! So be it. Mm. And thanks be to God. Lord have mercy. Glory to God. We bless your name. Y'all ought to give him praise. We give you glory. We give you the honor. We thank God for his goodness. Wonderful Jesus. We thank him for his mercy. We thank him for his grace. Y'all, excuse me. Glory to God. We bless him, we honor him. Shanta kalabosia. Yes, Lord, we bless his name. All right, let's go to Proverbs 2:2. Praise God. I pray y'all getting something out of this this morning. I pray this is blessing you. I pray that there's something stirring in you for wisdom the more. Glory to God. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Glory to Jesus. We bless him. And we honor his great name. Glory to God, he's so good, he's so kind. Wonderful Savior. Yes, Lord, we thank you. Proverbs 2 and verse 2. What a mighty God. Thank you, Jesus. The Bible says, so, so that thou will incline your ear to wisdom and conjunction again, apply your heart to understanding. Now watch this, the word wisdom wisdom takes on a different connotation, still tied into, watch this, the New Testament meaning of Sophia. But here in the Old Testament, this word wisdom is hakma. Thank you, Jesus. Hakma, hakma. And it means the proper use of knowledge. It means to take what you know and use it it accurately. Are y'all with me this morning? Glory to God. Watch this. Or to— here's Sophia. Here's how that word interferes or brings an inference on the word hakma. To properly use knowledge is to align with the skill, the resources, the intellect, the abilities of Jesus, and use your knowledge properly as he would. That's the proper use of knowledge. See, so watch this. You can get a lot of information, right? You can sit at the feet of tons of revelation, but it won't do you any good because if you don't apply it, it's just static information that you hold. What brings it to life when you have wisdom to apply it? Let me, let me say it like this. I mean, let me simplify about it because that could be confusing for some. Maybe you can walk into a library, right? The library is filled with books. Hear this, books all around you. It won't do you good if you pull every book off the shelf and read it and fill yourself with knowledge. And never apply what you read. The wisdom is not in the reading, the wisdom is in the application. Yeah, so he says incline your ear to wisdom. In other words, listening to systematic instruction. Watch this, that's inclining your ear, lean into instruction. That will show you how to apply it, to apply what you're learning. Again, the instruction is great, but it's not great if we don't learn. That's why we 18 messages into the mystery of dominion, we gotta learn how to take dominion. We gotta learn why gates are important. We gotta learn why increase is important, why sacrifice is important. We gotta learn why being fruitful and multiplication is important to dominion, Credibility is important to Demain. We gotta learn how to apply those principles. So we incline our ear to wisdom, and watch this, our heart to understanding. Yeah, so we listen and we let it go through the ear gate, get in our heart, and we understand how to do it. And we leave what we've heard and we perform it. Right. Oh God, so let's, let's, oh, let's pray this. Glory to God. Ashiko tata mandia. Let's pray this. So Father, we thank you for Proverbs 2:2. We thank you, God, that you have instructed us to incline our ear to listen to wisdom, listen to instruction that gives us the proper use of knowledge. And so Father, I thank you, one, for teachers that will teach and impart and share wisdom on dominion and share wisdom on our purpose and our assignment and how to get it done, how to bring it to pass, how to see what you have called us to do emerge and come alive. Yes, God. May we operate in the proper use of knowledge, and may our ear be found connected to voices that will teach us wisdom. And when we hear it, may we not reject it, God, so that we again can do what you have willed for us to do, which is dominion, which is to take authority and influence in our fear of and we just give you praise and glory for wisdom now. We thank you for the voices that will pour wisdom into our life and into our hearts and into our minds in the mighty name of Jesus. Oh God, we bless you. Ha, shiku talamandi osha tatabaye. We give you glory. Let's drop down to verse 7 of that same chapter, Proverbs 3. Glory to God. Ah, glory! We love you, Jesus. We love you. We love you. Oh, we love you. We love you, God. What a mighty God. Just take a moment to worship him. Come on, he's here. I, I feel him. Glory to God. Uh, we're not yelling and screaming, but God is right here with us this morning. Glory to God. We bless his name. Hallelujah. Let's drop down to verse 7. Gonna sound a little different because I'm gonna read this on the Amplified Bible because it kind of amplifies it. Glory to God, it gives an amplification to what is here. Watch this. The Bible said he hides away sound and godly wisdom and stores it. Stores what? The wisdom for the righteous, those who are upright and in right standing with He is a shield to those who walk uprightly and in, ooh-wee, integrity. Matter of fact, I wanna just back up and read verse 6, 'cause so it's gonna make this make sense, right? He says, for the Lord gives, 'cause Sophia, right? He, watch this, he ties it all together. For the Lord gives skillful and godly wisdom. From his mouth comes knowledge. And understanding. So the Lord wants you to be wise. He gives it to you again as a gift. He hides away sound and godly wisdom. Are y'all ready for this? So there's wisdom that the world can never receive because they are not in right standing with him. So here's, here's my problem with the church, y'all. Y'all, here's my problem, right? We got stuff available to us that the world— which would ultimately give us an edge in the world so we could take dominion in our sphere of influence. We got stuff available to us, right, that the world cannot assess because they are not in right standing with God, but we can. But my problem with the church is we don't. We won't. We, we just keep going through the motions, and that ain't the will of God. A lot of times we think it's how we sound. We think— because, you know, you could duplicate sound, uh, we, we could duplicate what we've seen other people do and it not be authentic and not be genuine. Sometimes it not be wise. I mean, I, you know, yeah, I've witnessed it all the time. I see people going for and they appear, um, spiritual, deep, wonderful, prophetic, and really they, you know, I just sit and watch and discern their hearts are far from God, right? So the reality is you have to be very careful to operate in wisdom so that you know that you're operating in what God desires and not what your flesh desires. So the Bible said here— let me get back to where I want to be— he said he hides sound and godly wisdom. So the best wisdom is kept for us, but it don't make no difference if you don't assess it and you don't properly use the knowledge that he gives you. Oh my God. And that wisdom becomes a protection for us that walking upright righteousness, behave properly, and integrity. So you can prophesy, preach, you know, have the right sound, the right noise— are y'all hearing this?— and not be walking in integrity and upright, and God will not be with you, okay? And you know, we've said this a thousand times, we'll say it again, the Bible says that there'll be many in that day saying, Lord, Lord, did not I prophesy in your name? Did not I pray loud in your name, cast out devils in your name? He gonna say, depart from me, I never knew you, because what your work was of iniquity. Watch this, wait a minute. Your work was lawless, it was not wise. Oh God, have mercy. Thank you, Jesus. It was not wise. How come? So, so we better stop jumping over this gift because you— we want the stuff that people can see. Oh, they see I can have a word, I can— oh, I can hear God and I can say, thus sayeth the Lord. No, but can you live in wisdom? Can you disseminate those words with wisdom? Can you walk out the word of God in your life and see it come alive? I mean, that's what he's reserved for you and I. Let's do it so we can operate at the highest level of influence and dominion. So let's pray Proverbs, hallelujah, 2:6 and 7. Let's pray. So Father, we thank you for the gift of skillful and godly wisdom. Thank you for the sound and godly wisdom that You have RSVP'd, you have reserved for your children, us. Thank you, God, that there's wisdom we can assess from you that those who are not in right standing cannot assess. And so Father, we, we make a commitment this morning in this 5 o'clock prayer gathering on 17 March, 2026, to stop making decisions in our flesh, to stop winging it, it when we don't have to. Oh my God, we don't have to wing it and do things because we can, but we can actually pray and ask you to give us wisdom on how to deal with people, wisdom on how to lead, wisdom on how to deal with people in our job, wisdom on how to deal with people in the world, wisdom on how to take dominion. Give us that, God. Woo! Shai. Ikandi asu. Yes, God. In the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you, God. Thank God for wisdom. Lord, I bless you. Release it now, God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Then we can tap into dimensions of your favor that are only born out of wise dealings with you. Woo, thank you, God. Hallelujah. For the wisdom to even deal with you properly in faith, in expectation, in belief, in love, God. And we bless you and we honor you for this in Jesus' name. Amen. My God. Woo! I pray, I pray this is getting through to you this morning. Let's go to 2nd— well, let's go to Proverbs first. Proverbs 1. Let's go to Proverbs 1. Yeah, I like that. Uh, verses 2, 3, 4, and 5. We're gonna read that. Woo! I feel Jesus. Hallelujah! Glory to God. The Bible said that people may know skillful and godly wisdom there it is again, and instruction, and discern and comprehend the words of understanding and insight. Okay, so watch this. So this is— so right here is an introduction to Proverbs. This is why Proverbs was written. You look at the word proverb, pro-verb, pro-verb, pro for verb, action, right? Wisdom is the proper use of knowledge, it's application, action. So this book is written entirely that you may know skillful and godly wisdom. Now watch this, and I know you probably heard this before, but let me, let me give you a little insight on this. Let me give you a little insight. If you really want wisdom, if you really want wisdom, and I'm gonna tell you how to do it. Get you an NIV version of scripture. Scripture. There are 31 chapters in the book of Proverbs. And years ago, I did this until the Lord told me to stop because I needed wisdom. Every day I would read a chapter in the NIV because a wise man, Apostle Walter Boston, back then told me this, probably 35 years ago. And I started reading a chapter in the NIV every day. And when I tell you that word, I will read it and read it out loud. That word got in me and I started seeing how to practice those things every day. But then the Lord revealed to me too, not only is it one proverb for every day of the month, also he took me to a text in Proverbs as I was reading it that Solomon— watch this— who wrote it, had to defeat— y'all ready? Before he could sit on his throne as king, he had to defeat 31 kings. And that thing stuck out to me. He had to defeat 31 kings. So every day, this wisdom, as he was writing, as others who penned some Proverbs were writing It was a part of strategy to defeat a king that was sitting on a throne illegally. Are y'all hearing this? Removing them, overthrowing them so you could take your rightful place. Ah, whoo! Shadokushkatai by Koshiambe. God, I give you glory. So when you read these words, You're challenged now to remove the kings that are sitting on different thrones in your heart every day, when the only king should be ruling in your heart is Jesus. You shouldn't have doubt ruling in any area. You shouldn't have fear ruling in every area. You should not have sin ruling in any area. You should have authority over any old king that's trying to possess your life. And you know what? I started removing those kings, man, and I start seeing myself occupy spaces and places and assignments that I was supposed to be in because I was dethroning things through wisdom that didn't belong in my I'm telling you, you need to do this. Hallelujah, hallelujah. I mean, even if you think you got some wisdom, it's probably good to do it because there's some kings you that are there you probably don't even know about that's keeping everything you've been praying for delayed because God wants to see that you are wise enough to handle the release. All right, all right, verse 3, he said receive instruction instruction in wise dealings and the discipline of wise thoughtfulness. Let me start right there. So as a child of God, you should be totally open, family, to receiving, first of all, instruction in wise dealing and not Okay, here we go. Rebut or refute instruction when somebody's trying to tell you how to deal wisely. You got to receive that, man, and you got to learn how to receive the discipline of wise, because discipline never feels good. And see, the church today don't want that. If a leader or someone in authority brings discipline, the first thing we want to do is run, or we get a departure theology that we've adapted that ministers to our failure and our mediocrity, and we follow that into another place where we can hide and not be dealt with. Yeah, listen, we got some people that are literally, don't go to church 'cause they can't, they already know it's hard to find a church like ours. But these people came into the ministry, start and started on a path that was good and then started operating in levels of disobedience in certain areas. And when I have to address that, instead of embracing a dominion mentality and receiving receiving the wisdom that you need to adjust right here. This is why this ain't being released. This is why this is happening in your body. This is why you still battling with this habit, because you are operating right here the wrong way. And what they do is, is run. But guess what? It don't change the fact that wisdom is wisdom. So you might as well receive wise thoughtfulness, righteousness, justice, and integrity. As long as someone is instructing you in a righteous, just way and they're being integral, glory to God, you ought to receive it, man. If the rebuke or the discipline is in integrity and it's to make you better, to align you so you can receive the justice of God, God, Lord have mercy. You ought to stand still and plant your feet and say, okay, I don't like this, I'm grown, and I really don't know why somebody's got to give me discipline. But all of us, including me, can be subject to disciplinary action, and you would rather the person that God put in your life discipline you than you have to deal with God. Himself because you wouldn't listen to the disciplinarian that he put in your life. Oh, listen, you, you can't really walk in dominion without this kind of wisdom. See, this is part of wisdom, is discipline. Because when you get off track and you're not acting wise, it takes someone who is wise in that area and say, okay, Listen, I need people to tell me, please, if I'm off, tell me, Woods, Negro, you is off, you need to adjust here. Because guess what? I want to get it right. But I don't get the church, man. We don't want this. We want to be Long Rangers. We want to be anointed with no accountability, and it don't work that way. I gotta go. Man, I got to go. Let's pray this. Well, let me finish reading it. Let me finish reading it. He says, this is why you got to know skillful knowledge, glory to God, and godly wisdom and instruction. You got to be disciplined with wise thoughtfulness in righteousness, justice, and integrity. This is why, right here, verse 4, he says that prudence may be given to the simple and knowledge, discretion, and discernment to the youth. So I should— he says, now I want you to learn wisdom and take— because prudence is another word really for wisdom, is hakmah, which is the same Hebrew word basically, which is an extension of the proper use of knowledge. This thing should be passed along to our children's children. The reason, my God, our children react without wisdom Good God, because the grown folk don't respond to discipline. Many times children become rebellious, oh, by sikuta tabandi ansai, because somewhere the parent is not responding to wisdom. Oh my God, I know, I know my time on my clock going off, man. God have mercy. Oh, Oh my God. Okay, verse 5: The wise will hear and increase in learning. So if you're wise, you're going to continue to learn, you're going to continue to listen and hear. And the person of understanding will acquire skill and attain to sound counsel, so he may be able to steer his counsel rightly. So you could take what you receive— watch this— and walk walk out dominion. I'm gonna shut this down. I got some more. I'm gonna shut it down though. Listen, ke la sheboku tatavaya. Let's pray this. Ah, God, I give you glory. Father, I thank you for wisdom this morning. Just again, we prayed in the beginning, if any man lack wisdom, let him ask of God. And so, Father, I ask you again for wisdom, that it will be released upon every person under the sound of my voice, and we will walk out wisdom with power, authority, grace, and that God, we will show up in the world with, whoa, fortitude, knowledge, your ability, your skill set. And Father, I thank you that even when we get off and we need discipline, that we'll hear godly wisdom, we'll hear godly knowledge, that we'll hear correction, And Father, that we'll make the shift and that we'll change that because that's wise, that we won't adopt a departure theology, 'cause that's unwise, that tells us to remove ourself from opportunities for discipline, opportunities to be better. And Father, we give you praise and glory for it now. Mature us, God, that we can handle wisdom on all levels. And that once wisdom enters our life, we will actually be living expressions of what wisdom looks like, and we will have dominion in our sphere of influence. In the mighty name of Jesus, I declare it to be so. In Jesus' name, amen. Glory to God. I'm gonna stop right there, family. Listen, Man, we gotta walk in wisdom, man. I could go on. I got like 10 more scriptures, but I'm gonna stop. You know, God is— this is a good place for the Holy Spirit to slow us down because I think if we even got into the rest of it, we might lose the value of this. We gotta mature. We gotta grow. We cannot operate in dominion, man, if we're babies. He won't trust us with it. You know, babies don't have wisdom. Um, my little grandson Maverick, smart as a baby Alexander Graham Bell, baby Einstein. The boy's smart, but he don't have wisdom. I have to tell him things like— I could see him walking in kitchen, and he'll be walking toward a plug that actually has the plug things in it to protect his hands from touching the plug. But I could see him going to it and reaching out to the plug, and I have to keep saying to him, that's hot, it's hot. And eventually it's going to register that it's hot, and he's going to start reaching for it, right? The reality is you want to get wisdom through instruction versus experience. You know, it wouldn't be wise of me as a grandparent to just let, oh, I'm gonna just let him touch it so he'll know it's hot. No, and get shocked. That's crazy, right? God doesn't want us to learn wisdom that way. He wants us to hear the instruction. I know that sound real simple, right? But it's so true. And come to understanding that the stove is hot, that plug is hot, or I gotta apply wisdom here to get this contract or build this business or build this building or buy this building. The reality is wisdom is the principal thing. We're gonna have to pick this up next Tuesday when we come together again. And I want you to keep praying about wisdom. Pick up those Proverbs. I'm gonna give you that assignment, man. Today is the 17th. Go to the NIV version, start today, and just for the next 30 days, glory to God, read one proverb every day in the NIV. Glory to the name of God. And watch how that begins to help you. And watch this, if you feel led, 'cause look, guess what I did? I did it every month until the Holy Spirit told me to stop. And that thing became a part of me. I want you to do the exact same thing. I love y'all. Y'all be blessed, man. Have a good Tuesday. We have a tremendously busy week. So y'all keep Felicia and I in prayer. We're going to a senior pastor and wives round table today that happens from 10 to 2. To, uh, so y'all pray for us as we go and sit, um, at that and just become better, man. Again, taking the positions of learners, of learners, so we can get what we need. Listen, if you have not— I want y'all to hear me, family, hear my heart— you need to be on this cruise, okay? So if you have not paid your deposit, right, I need you to call and pay your deposit. Everybody needs to be on this cruise. So I need you to call, um, our travel agent Beverly Kennedy. It's on the website dominion@— see, rodditchurch.com dominion— no, rodditchurch.com/@-c. Go on there and get the lady number, call her, and lock in your cabin. This cruise is going to be very powerful and it's going to be very necessary for all of us. We need this time away, we need this break. So I just need you to make a decision and do this. I'm telling you, you're gonna not regret the fact that you did it. All right, I love y'all. Get that done for me this week and we'll see you guys on Thursday night in person. Last Thursday was phenomenal. Phenomenal. We're looking for this Thursday to be even better, so you need to be in the building. I'll see you there. Y'all be blessed. Peace.
