He walks through biblical passages on intercessory prayer, then leads a corporate decree for spiritual warfare and revival. Woods emphasizes shifting prayer focus from personal concerns to evangelistic intercession.

Well, praise the Lord, and grace and peace be multiplied to everyone. I pray you well, and once again, welcome to 5 AM Prayer. Uh, this is Apostle Mike Woods. Uh, for those of you who are uninitiated, and the Bible declares that men should always pray and not faint and never doubt. The Bible says the ears of the Lord are forever open. To the prayers of the righteous. So when we cry to God, he's always listening, uh, especially when we're in right standing with him. Listen, I'm telling you, God wants us to pray. As a matter of fact, he will not intervene or interfere with our life, but if you want supernatural intervention, you gotta pray. Glory to God. And so we're on this 12-day fast and we're praying daily at 5 AM. Glory to God. So thank you to every person that has risen early this morning to join us for prayer. The Bible even speaks of how we should seek him early. Glory to God. Hallelujah. It's such a sacrifice to break your sleep and spend some time with the Lord. And on this particular fast, we are fasting for the salvation of souls and the synergy of saints. So every day we pray, we're going to pray around those particular ideas. And today, uh, our focus is going to be, glory to God, just simply praying for the salvation of the lost. I'm gonna give you some scriptures and we're gonna jump right into it. So again, please guys, share this, uh, whether you're live or by replay, share it. I believe every believer needs to have a passion, a desire to, one, pray for someone other than themselves. You know, do you realize how much time we spend just praying for stuff that pertains to us? But we're going to be very driven and focused throughout this fast to ensure that we're praying for people outside of us, our family, our friends, and people we don't even know. Because guess what? We want to see them experience Jesus just like we— now here's what I know. People who have really had experience with Jesus Christ, these are the people— listen to me— who are actually going to pray for someone to get saved, because you want that to be a shared experience. But if you never really experienced Jesus and you just go through the religious motions, you're not going to be too excited about sharing this good news about what has happened to you with him with other people. You, you kind of keep it to yourself and kind of keep it in the circle. But how many, you know— and this is, watch this, this is where entities like social media, all that stuff is built on people telling news that they think is newsworthy. Some of the stuff is absolute garbage and millions of people listen to it. And we have the best testimony ever, especially those of us that have really for real encountered Jesus Christ. Let's read these scriptures and we're going to pray. A good morning to everyone. I'm glad you all are here. Glory to God. Hallelujah. This is the day the Lord has made. Yes, God, I love you. Yes, Lord, I praise you. Hallelujah. Yes, Lord, I give you glory. We give you glory, God. All right, glory to God. We're going to look first, glory to God, at 1 Timothy, praise God, chapter number 2, uh, verses 1 and 2. Glory to God. Chapter Timothy— I'm sorry, 1 Timothy chapter 2, verses 1 and 2. Good morning to everybody. Good morning, Pastor Justin. Good to see you, sir. Good morning, Stephanie. Good to see you. Good morning, Sharon and Eddie. Good, good to see you, Eddie. I said Saul Walker first. Good morning, man of God. Good to see you. Uh, good morning to my wife. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Good morning, Sharia, and good morning, Zion. Good to see you all. Glory to God. Let's dive in this. Glory to the name of God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah, we give him praise. I love him, I bless him, I honor his great name. Hallelujah, I honor his great name. He's good, he's kind. We bless you, God. 1 Timothy, hallelujah, chapter 2, verses 1 and 2. You're gonna find these words. The Bible says, I exhort you therefore that first of all supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made. Listen, for all men. So here we go. The apostle, or the pastor Timothy, glory to God, is admonishing the people, glory to God, to— hallelujah— to— watch this— make supplication, prayer, intercession, and thanks be made for every person, not just themselves. So again, prayer is our weapon, our tool, our license to get God to interfere. It's our earthly license for heavenly interference. I'll say it like that. Prayer is our earthly license for heavenly interference. Ears. So in this regard, this morning we're praying that God will interfere in the lives of other men and that we will be tools and vehicles to bring them to real encounters with Jesus Christ. So, and the Bible says all supplication— just real quickly, supplication, desis in Greek, uh, literally means, uh, a seeking and asking. Or a— in treating, which means simply to supply a request, basically supply, to supply a request on behalf of another. So even as we're praying and making these decrees this morning, I want you guys, listen, to be thinking about people that you want to see saved and just begin out of your spirit as we're praying and as we're decreeing to make requests on their behalf. Amen. So prayers and intercessions— the intercessions, we have an interview, same thing with God on their behalf, or a session, a intercession, a session where you enter into the presence of God. Intercession, you enter into a session with God and you have conversation with God on behalf of others. Oh my God. That— so he says, I want you to— and I want you to give thanks. Listen, there are people who are in the church who you may not— who are not in the church who you may not esteem as high value because they're not in the church. Watch this. That's not how— that's not God's perspective. While they may be in sin, God doesn't value you Hear me, watch this. Any greater than he does them. Oh, oh, oh, I know you thought you got— yeah, but really you make the choice of salvation to bring transformation and to live your life through him. Really, uh, it's a martyr's death. You, you die to your old man and you emerge a new man, and it's a gift from God. Glory to God. To be saved. And so, but God is not in heaven looking at you different than he does everybody else. Only because the only thing God sees is the blood of Jesus when he sees your life. Glory to God. Because our righteousness, the Bible says, is even as filthy rags to him. This is how holy he is. Now here's the reality: every human is human. Every human deserves value. Every human deserves prayer. Every human deserves an opportunity, whether they choose it or not, to get to know Jesus Christ. Oh my God, oh my God, every human deserves that opportunity. Praise God, my God, oh my God, how I love him, how I love Jesus. Just worship him a few moments. We're gonna read these scriptures. Glory to God. Verse 2 says, for kings and for all that are in authority— oh, here we go— that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and honesty. So for those of you that don't like the government, governmental leadership that's currently in position, whether you like them or not, you're exhorted here. You are encouraged to pray for those in authority— your governor, your mayor, your congressman, your alderman. Glory to the name of God. Your commissioners, our president. We're— listen, we can't do anything about who the president is whenever the president is there. Reality is you are encouraged and entreated to pray for them so we can lead a quiet and peaceable life in godliness and honesty. Because guess what? So that tells me if I'm complaining about a situation in leadership and not praying about it Instead of complaining, pray. And a lot of the things you experience because you complain is because you're forfeiting the opportunity for God to really intervene in that person in authority's life. Let's pray. Glory to the name of God for leadership. Let's pray that we have peace on our planet and peace in our nation. Glory to God. All right, let's keep moving. Romans 2. Glory to Jesus. Romans 2. Hallelujah. I did a little too much teaching on that. I'm just reading these. Glory to God. Romans 2, because we got to pray. Romans 2 and 4. Hallelujah. The Bible says this: Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and long-suffering? And not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance. I told you, God doesn't separate people. He's good. He reigns on the just as well as the unjust. God doesn't send his people to hell. I'm gonna teach a series on— God gave me a series. I'm looking at it, glory to God, last night, and I haven't had a chance to teach it yet, but I'm excited about it. Because it's just an amalgamation of different things that God has given over the years concerning hell. And the series is called Hell No, not N-O, but Hell No, E-K-N-O-W, because there are so many things we need to know about hell. And one of the things we need to understand is that God doesn't throw people in. People choose to reject him, and they sentence themselves, actually, according to scripture. That's the whole of the text. But the reality is God's goodness— glory to God— is what leads us to repentance. There is an innate button built in every person that if they will open themselves up and become acquiescent to God's forbearance and God's goodness, they will be led to his heart and they will And they will change, man. Wow. Oh God, let me keep going. Go, go to 2 Corinthians 10. 2 Corinthians 10. These are all prayer points we're gonna get in this degree. We're gonna pray these scriptures out this morning. Glory to God. 2 Corinthians 10, verses 3 through 5. The Bible says, though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the Glory to God. First of all, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down— verse 5— imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Romans 15:21. Glory to God. Romans 15:21. Hallelujah! God, we love you and we praise you. But as it is written, to whom he was not spoken of, hear me, they shall see, and they that have not heard shall understand. I'm gonna read that again because it's just all right to read the Bible, number one, but number two, this is saying a lot about Glory to the name of God. Our view of how God views other people. Listen to this, it says, but as it is written, to whom he was not spoken of— so people who had not heard of God, watch this— they shall see. That's what we want. And they that have not heard shall understand. Glory to God. So those that haven't been taught the ways of God, the gospel of Jesus Christ, those that don't even understand this God thing, the Bible prophesies here that they will see it, they will encounter Jesus, they will understand. This is our belief. That can't happen without you and I. Glory to God. Let's go to Matthew 9:38. Praise God. We give you glory, Father. We give you honor. We give you praise. You're so good. Matthew 9:38 says, pray ye therefore— listen— the Lord of the harvest, that he may send forth laborers into the harvest. We're gonna, we're gonna, we're gonna speak that thing out this morning because we want God to send laborers into the harvest. Glory to God. Here we go, we're almost done. 2 Timothy, and we're gonna pray. 2:26. Praise God. Hallelujah, hallelujah. 2:26. My God, today we give you praise, Jesus. Give you praise, wonderful Savior. Hallelujah. The Bible says, in meekness— oh, that's verse 25. I might have might as well read devil. In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves, if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth. Verse 26: And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. So As we learn to develop compassion for people who are not saved, we must understand that they are actually under the snare of the enemy. And the enemy just takes captive of them because their idol is his workshop, as he pleases. And he uses them as he pleases. And a lot— many a times they don't even understand that's what's happening. But our prayer is, is that God prevent you would give them repentance, that they will have a change of heart, a change of mind, a change of behavior, and that they would acknowledge the truth and that they will serve God. Hallelujah! My God, today we give you praise, God. We're going to pray. Praise God. We're going to pray. Yeshua, we bless you, God. We bless you, God. We give you praise, Jesus. We honor the great name of Jesus. How worthy of you, God, to be praised. Just a few minutes, just begin to worship him. Just a few moments. We give you glory, God. Just a few moments, just a few moments. Come on, worship. We give you glory, God. We honor your name, and beside you there is no other. You rule and you super rule, God. Heaven is your throne, the earth is your footstool. The heavens declare your glory, God, and the earth your handiwork. We worship you, God. This is the day. Yes. That the Lord has made, and we shall rejoice and be glad in it. God, we give you glory. Our heart beats because of you, and our heart beats because you yet have need of us, God. And so we worship you, God, and we yield our vessels for your usage. And we say, Father, here am I, use us, God, and get the glory. Out of our lives. Now I just want you right where you are to lift your hands. Glory to God. And we're going to just begin to say this decree. I have it typed up in my iPad for you, and, uh, just to make sure it's accurate. And also, if anyone wants it, I'm honored to give it to you because the fact you want to pray for our souls, glory to God, means the world. Praise God. So I want you to say this with me. Glory. Remember, we're decreeing for the lost, and the Bible says, as we decree— I want you to remember this, because people be decreeing and really don't understand really the power of it. Most of the time time don't understand what they're doing. But whenever King speaks, it's a decree, it becomes law. So when we decree, we're all— we have to number one be decreeing what he already said for it to be effective, because it's something he's already enacted and he's gonna act upon. That's why the Bible said if you decree a thing, it shall be established. So if you, as a child of the King, when we make a declaration in alignment with what he's already declared is established. So every word that I've written down here, glory to God, this prayer is given to me by the Holy Spirit. We're going to decree it, glory to God. I need you to hear me, and we're going to trust God, and it's going to be established. Praise God, it shall be established in the name of Jesus. Hear me, hear me today. Secondly, guys, I want you to understand something, that angels hearken to the voice of our decree, the voice of his word. So when we pray his word and decree his word, angels, ministering spirits, who are assigned to our words, who are assigned to assist us, they get involved, they hearken to bring to pass what we say. Hallelujah. So say this with me. Say, Father, it is written in your word, first of all, then I admonish and urge that petition, prayer, intercession, and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all men. So Father, in the name of Jesus, we bring the lost of the world this day. Every man, every woman, and every child from here to the furthest part of the world. Oh my God, we bring them before you. Hallelujah. As we intercede, we use our faith believing that thousands this day will have the opportunity to make Jesus their Lord. Yes, God, we give you praise. Say this with me. Say, I decree and declare, Father, hallelujah, that Satan cannot and will not prevent these from hearing the truth. We decree and declare that we are human, but we do not wage war against flesh and blood. We do not wage war with human plans and methods. Say, in the name of Jesus, We use God's mighty power and God's mighty weapons to knock down the devil's stronghold. Say, in the name of Jesus, with these weapons we break down every proud argument that keeps people from knowing God. Yes, God, say, with these weapons we conquer rebellious ideas, and we, in the name of God, will teach them— yes, God— to obey Christ. Say, in the name of Jesus, we ask, yes God, the Lord of the Harvest, yes, to thrust perfect laborers across these lives this day. To share the good news of the gospel in a special way so that they will listen and understand it. Hallelujah! Glory to God! Say, in the name of Jesus, we believe. Glory to God! They will not be able to resist the wooing of the Holy Spirit. Glory to God. For you, Father, bring them to repentance. You bring them, Father, to your goodness. You bring them, Father, to your love. You bring them, Father, to your grace. In the name of Jesus, say, Father, we confess now that they shall see. Oh, shabba bati kansiaya. We have never been told of Jesus. Say this with me. Say, in the name of Jesus, they will understand who have never heard of Jesus. Say, in Jesus' name. Oh God, they shall come out of the snare of the devil who has had them captive. And they shall open their eyes and turn from darkness to light. Glory to God. Say, in the name of Jesus, the power of Satan will no longer hold these souls captive. And said furthermore, in Jesus' name, I decree and declare that I I am filled with the Holy Ghost. And because of that, I am first a witness. Glory to God! In all of the earth, first in Jerusalem, then in Judea, in Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the world. Say, in the name of Jesus, I crucify my agenda and I take hold of your agenda. Say, Father, use me to become a walking encounter so that every person I come in contact with will experience you through me. In Jesus' name. Hallelujah. But Father, I thank you for this word, these decrees. And I decree and declare, God, over your people today that this word will come alive. I say in the name of Jesus, come alive, come alive. And I decree and declare under the sound of my voice, God, you're raising up witnesses, you're raising up believing evangelists that will go into the world and preach to preach the gospel to every creature. I decree and declare that the people under the sound of my voice will become walking encounters. Glory to God! And they will move boldly. And oh yeah, God, I thank you. Holy Spirit, yes, I hear that. I bind up the spirit of fear that stops you, hallelujah, from speaking to others about Jesus. I bind Licko The spirit of intimidation, the spirit of shame. Glory to God. Oh my God, that will hold you back. The timidity that will hold you back. And I declare over your life that God has not given you the spirit of fear, but he's given you power, he's given you love, and he's given you a sound mind. And I decree and declare this morning that you will go forth in boldness, you will go forth in authority, and you will be a mature witness. Glory to God, that will bring many to Christ. Oh, shabandi kosiaya. We bind up fear and intimidation and timidity, oh God, in the name of Jesus. We thank you, Lord. We thank you. Lord, we bind up slothfulness and laziness. Some people are not afraid, they're just lazy. So Father, we bind up laziness in the name of Jesus. They talk to people about everything else, they meet strangers and converse about everything else. But Father, let there be a fire this morning in prayer that is ignited among your people, God. Light the fire, God. Light the fire, light the fire. The people, they want fire in the church building and they have no fire when they leave the building. But let the fire burn from the building to the community, from the community to the school, from the school to jobs. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit burn through us and let gifts be in operation in public places. God, I release gifts of healings and discerning of spirits and gifts of prophecy. God, let them be activated. God, give some miracles. Yes, God, I praise you, I praise you. Words of wisdom, words of knowledge, let these gifts be stirred in your people, God. That when they're in the grocery store or at a gas station or at a restaurant, they casually meet someone, not even causing a scene, but your power and your love and your compassion will flow through them, and the gifts will manifest, and people will be healed in public places. Lives will be changed in public places, and as a result— thank you, God— You'll add to the kingdom daily, such as would be. And as you add to the kingdom, you add to the church daily, such as would be. Thank you for a revival of souls. Not just what we have meetings and a bunch of believers get together in the room and we, we go through the motions. God, thank you for Revival, where men, women, and children, teenagers are coming to God and receiving the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Thank you for revival. Let us see it. I declare it this morning that revival is sweeping through me, is sweeping through every person under the sound of my voice, that believers everywhere will allow revival to sweep through them. That it may touch their family. And Father, we're open for correction, we're open for rebuke, we're open, God, for wise strategies. Oh, Shabaya, give us wise strategies. Well, he that wins a soul is wise. It was wise strategies and methods in the name of Jesus. To reach those that need you. So Father, we thank you for this place. Bless us as we go through this day. Give us strength and give us power. Give us the boldness, God. Let us purpose in our heart over these— hallelujah— yeah, 9 days we got left to minister to people who don't know you. And to practice evangelism. We give you praise for it now, in Jesus' name. Hey, glory to God! We bless you, God. We honor you. You're so good. You're so You're so worthy, God. Great, great God, we give you glory. We love you, guys. Thank you for rising early and joining us. I pray that the spirit and the impulse and the fires of evangelism flow with it. You know, because of what God did for you and I, it's our reasonable service to share the good news with somebody else. It just makes sense. The very best thing that ever happened to you is not yourself. It's not your grades. It's not your history. It ain't even your profession. Professional, your children. Best thing ever happened to you was him. He gave you an opportunity to come home to your home country, to live and sit in heaven with Christ. He saved you from life, killed you through death. Thank God. Died on a cross for you and for me. We owe it to tell somebody about him. Amen. I love y'all this morning with the love of the Lord. Glory to God.
