500 AM Prayer with Apostle Mike Woods Sr | 12.14.2020

A pleasant good morning to everybody. I want to welcome you into our 5 o'clock prayer. I'm super excited to be able to get up and pray with you guys, uh, this the Lord laid it on my heart, actually yesterday, Sunday, on my way to church, that, hey, we should fast for the next 5 days. So we have consecrated a fast, and I'm inviting each of you that desire to fast with us to definitely set that as a priority and do so. Secondly, the Lord instructed us to invite every person. We're usually praying at this time anyway, to join us for 5 AM prayer. And, you know, I believe the world is in need of revival, is in need of a culture shift that comes straight from Heaven, where Heaven actually superimposes itself upon us and we begin to experience the glorious insights, revelation, wisdom, and moreover, the power and the love that comes from above. And I'm telling you, Right now, if you're watching me, I want you to be very clear of something. God loves you. I'm going to say that again. God loves you. And I want you to entrust, glory to the name of the Lord, your heart, your time this week with me as we spend a few moments in prayer and devotion unto the Lord. You know, in the beginning of our day, God needs a people that's willing to make sacrifices. And so today, I'm going to be praying, glory to the name of God, about restoring our dependence on God, because I believe something has happened in, watch this, the community of believers where we have been so inebriated and intoxicated by this world system that our dependency now is so much on earthly things and what we do in the realm of humanity that we have We have actually forgotten that heaven really does exist and it really wants to superimpose itself upon us. And so I want to pray for community today because a culture that has independence from God is in trouble. And I want to tell you something, it is impossible for us to be a light to the world hear me, and win people to Jesus Christ. And yet, listen to me, ladies and gentlemen, and as you're joining, please share this with someone else. Someone else may need this. It is highly impossible, hear me, saints, for us to be able to be a light to the world, share the experiences we have with heaven with others, when we don't believe it ourselves. And when we're detached from the culture, we become so independent. And many people don't even pray anymore. Or if they do pray, they pray without any devotion, without any fire, without any passion, without any fervency. It's in a rush. It's a religious duty. But prayer should be an opportunity to literally, literally, okay, spend time with the Father. And so this morning, I want to pray with you. I want to pray that our dependence will be restored. I want to read a scripture from 2 Chronicles 6, because in 2 Chronicles 6, first of all, Solomon had just finished building God's temple in Jerusalem. And in this particular text, he offered a prayer of dedication to this temple. Now I want you to hear me clearly. Uh, in this particular prayer, Solomon affirmed that he wanted to lead his people the way God wanted him to lead. And after that prayer, here's what happened. The glory of God filled the temple. God's glory took over even so much so that the priests could not stand to minister because The king, the leader, had decided, I want to lead God's way. Now, here's the problem in our society today. Most leaders and most believers have decided they want to do it their way instead of God's way. But I want to pray that God would restore not just your dependence, but the world's dependence on him. And it starts with us who believe, us who have relationship with God. We must be a living, walking example that we live by faith and our dependency is totally in the Lord. So I want you to just hear, hear me today and pray with me. And I promise you, We're going to see some results after this week. I want you to stay with me all week. The fire from Heaven is going to come into your life, and I just want to deal with this issue because we become so independent of God. We do things our own way, and we expect it to work, but I'm telling you right now, it's not going to work. It may be working for the moment, but it won't have longevity because you are detaching yourself from the one, glory to the name of God, that has everything you need. To get the job done. Let me read this. The Bible said this, uh, 2 Chronicles chapter 6, and this is the foundation for which we're going to pray this morning. Uh, beginning of verse number 1, it said, then Solomon said, the Lord said he would dwell in total darkness, but I have built an exalted temple for you, a place for your residence forever. Then the king turned and blessed the entire congregation of Israel while they were standing. He said, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel! He spoke directly to my father David, and he has fulfilled the promise by his power. He said, Since the day I brought my people Israel out of the land of Egypt, I have not chosen a city to build a temple in among any of the tribes of Israel so that my name would be there, and I have not chosen a man to be ruler over my people Israel. Watch this, verse 6, but I have chosen Jerusalem so that my name will be there, and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel. Verse 7, my father David had, had his heart set on building a temple for the name of the Lord God of Israel. However, the Lord said to my father, since it was 'Your desire to build a temple for my name, you have done well to have this desire. Yet you are not the one to build the temple, but your son, your own offspring, will build the temple for my name.' Verse 10, 'So the Lord has fulfilled what he promised. I have taken the place of my father David, and I sit on the throne of Israel as I promised. I have built the temple for the name of the Lord.' God of Israel. I have put the Ark there where the Lord's covenant is that he made with the Israelites. Hear me, ladies and gentlemen. I'm telling you right now that there is a remnant of people in the earth. I believe that there is a reconciliation of glory where God is about to superimpose his glory upon us in a way like we've never seen seen it before. He's going to overshadow us with His power. He's looking for temples who have purity and temples who have a passion to worship Him and intertwine themselves with Him that He can endow them with His power. And I'm telling you right now, there's a remnant of people that's willing to make the sacrifices, that's willing to fast, that's willing to pray, that's willing to rise up, up early to seek His face so that He can get the glory out of our lives. I'm telling you, like never before, the, the world needs to see a manifestation of God's glory in their lives in every single way. So let's pray today that we would be that temple. Hallelujah. That He can live here, that He could dwell here, Glory to the Name of God, and that He can abide in the earth realm through us, that we will be His conduit, that every person in every space that we come in contact with will be an experienced person with God's glory because they experience you, because He permeates through your building. You are the temple. Touch yourself and say, "I am the temple." Say, "Live here." Come on. Say, "Dwell here." Say, "I am your own." Come on, say it again. Say, "Live here. Dwell here. I am your home." And this is what we should want. We should want God to live in us eternally. So let's pray. Glory to the Name of God, that God would take up residence and we would be able to create a culture of power, of anointing, of glory that the world can experience like it never has before. So here we go. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you this morning for your people. And first of all, God, I praise your holy name. You're wonderful. You're mighty. You're glorious. And beside you, there is no other. It is in you we live. It's in you we move. It's in you we have our being. And Father, we glorify you. We makrograph you. We suplimate you today. Hallelujah. We lift you up and we exalt you, God. Beside you, there is no other. It is in you we live. It is in you we move. It is in you we have our being, God. Everything we are, we are because of you. And so Father, I take privilege. I take great honor to be able to come into your presence this morning. We come worshiping. We come thanking you. We come giving you glory. And Father, we declare that there, hallelujah, is none like you nowhere. You're holy. You're righteous, God. Come now, Lord. Abide with us. And we declare that your presence is all that we need. For your Word declares, God, it is in your presence that we find fullness of joy. And at your right hand, there are pleasures forevermore. Forevermore. But Father, we decree and declare today that we walk under the auspices of your pleasure. Hallelujah. We walk under the auspices of the authority of your right hand, God. And so, Father, I'm asking you now that upon every person that's praying with us this morning, I decree and declare that your presence would fill the room where they are, God. I decree and declare that they will open their heart to receive you. There are many that are listening now, they have not even received the baptism in the Holy Ghost. And so, Father, as we pray this morning, I decree and declare, God, that you will let your Holy Spirit rest upon them, sit upon them like you sat on the 120 on the day of Pentecost. Sit on them until they're filled. Sit on them until they're blessed. God, sit on them until they're delivered and set free. Sit on them until tongues of fire fire would come forth out of their bellies, God. And I give you praise for it. Burn in them, God. Burn in them. We give you the— We give you the glory, God. We give you the honor. It's you we desire. It's you we want. It's you we need, God. There is none like you, Jesus. We worship and adore you, God. Have your way in this prayer this morning. Oh God, we call on the whole So, God, we call on the angelic host of Heaven to enforce the covenant of Thy Word. And so, God, we decree and declare, God, according to Your Word, that we are Your temple, God. We are the temple of the Holy Ghost, and You dwell in us. And we thank You, God, that we live in purity. We make the choice to live clean, to live pure, so You can dwell in our lives, God, for Your Word declares, "You cannot dwell in in an unclean temple. So we decree and declare, God, that by your efficacious, vicarious, substitutionary work of Calvary, Lord Jesus, we decree and declare that we're cleansed. We're washed in the blood, and we have a right, hallelujah, to the Spirit of the living God living and taking up residence in us, God. Make us a part, God, of the, ah, of the heavenly community, God. We don't just, we we can go, God, I bind up religion right now. I bind up a religious pattern of doing things, God, that never touches you. But I decree and declare that our ears are sensitive. Shema. God, our ears are sensitive to your voice. Yes, Lord. And I decree and declare Father, that our eyes are fixed upon You. We set our eyes according to Colossians 3:1 on things which are above, God, and we set our heart upon things which are above, God, and we decree and declare, God, that our focus is a heavenly focus, God. Give us perspective, God. Let us see life the way You see it. Let us see people the way You see in particular our lives the way You see them, and we give You praise for it now, God. And God, I pray that the light of the Holy Spirit will permeate so strong through us, God, that the world will see Your glory on us, and they will say to us, What must I do to have what you have? What must I do to be saved, God? I give you the glory for it now. I pray for souls today because they will be drawn to the light, God, a city that sits upon a hill that cannot be hid. Otorobanse. And I thank you, Father. For me to return to righteousness, God. Hallelujah. Because we decree and declare your word and that your love and your light flows through us with great power, God. And I thank you for it now. I thank you, God, that you are a Healer. You are Jehovah Rapha. So I decree and declare that Jehovah Rapha heals us now, and I thank you that sickness cannot dwell in our bodies. And I call on the name of Jehovah Rapha for this land. I pray, God, that you would heal our land. You said in your word, if if my people who are called by my name would humble themselves and pray, seek my face, turn from their wicked ways, you said you would hear from Heaven and you would heal our land. So I decree and declare, Lord, that our land is COVID-19 free. I declare now in the name of Jesus that it is going back to the pits of hell from whence it emerged, and I decree and declare that You will get glory, God. I thank you for many being healed of COVID-19 under the power of the Holy Ghost. We're not afraid, God. The church is the safest place on the planet, God. If your presence is there, how is it that we can contract this disease? Disease in your house. You are the God, our healer. You are the God that heals us. And I thank you now. Oh God, I give you glory. I give you the honor, God. Thank you for what you're doing, God. I pray for those that are on ventilators right now. I bind up death from COVID-19. I command life in Jesus' name. For God, Your Word declares we should not die but live to declare the works of the Lord. So, God, I pray for those that are even at the doorstep of death from this disease. God, touch now. Give them a miracle right now in the name of Jesus. No more deaths, God. No more death. Let the glory of God saturate every continent on this planet. And in that glory, let there be healing. Let there be deliverance for your Word says healing and deliverance is the children's bread. We thank you for the victory now. We rebuke cancer. We rebuke tuberculosis. We rebuke high blood pressure. We rebuke diabetes. We rebuke high cholesterol. We decree and declare with your stripes, your people are being healed even now as I pray in the matchless Name of Jesus. And I thank you, Lord, for what's to come. And I decree and declare today that what's to come is better than what has been. I thank you for the future. I thank you for the future. I thank you now for the future, God. And I give you praise and glory. You're wonderful and mighty. You're glorious and awesome, God. I sing great praise to your name. I give glory Glory to your high name, Jehovah Rapha, the Lord our healer. Jehovah Nissi, the Lord our banner. Because of your shed blood, Jesus, we uphold a bloodstained banner. We uphold a victorious banner in the mighty name of Jesus. We thank you for it now, Lord, and we praise you. Hallelujah for the days ahead. In Jesus' name. Would you repeat after me really quickly? Glory to God. I just want to put some decrees in the air this morning because I believe that God is bringing his light like never before into his people. And we will be that city that sits upon the hill that cannot be hid. And many will run into that city. City and be healed and be saved and be delivered and be set free. I give you glory for it now, Lord. Would you repeat after me? Let's just put this decree in the atmosphere during this early morning prayer. Glory be to God. Say this with me. Say, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I decree I declare I am a part of the community of God. Say, in Jesus' name, I am the temple of God. Say, Father, I glorify you in my body. I glorify you in my spirit. I glorify you in my mind. Say, Lord, have your way in me. Say, in Jesus' name, I decree I'm yours, Lord. Everything I am, everything I'm not, everything I got, I'm yours, Lord. Lord, say, try me now and see, see if I'll be completely yours. In Jesus' name. Amen. Hallelujah. I'm so glad you joined me for prayer this morning. Listen, make plans to join me again tomorrow morning at 5 AM. We're fasting all week from midnight. Glory to God. I can feel the anointing right now. From midnight to 3 PM. After 3 PM, you're free to eat, and then we resume the fast at 12 midnight. This is the fast that God ordained. This is what he gave me. So this is how we're doing it. And when we go into January, we're going to fast for 21 days. Glory to God. That one will be structured a little different. But God said this week, the week before before we celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ to consecrate a fast, because I'm believing God for souls. I'm believing God that men will be relieved from depressions and burdens. I'm believing God that the church will become the light, the authority. Hallelujah! That we'll reassess, reassign, and realign. That we'll find ourselves in the proper place. And this is why we fast this week. Glory to God. To take retrospective, to look back over this year and see how we've grown, see how we've not grown, and make the necessary adjustments before we go into 2021, which by the way is going to be the year of amazing things for those who are positioned. Because I'm telling you, God is looking for you right now, and you got to get in position. So you can receive the amazing results, the amazing manifestations that are going to come forth in your life. Listen, I love every one of you. Thank you so much again for joining us for prayer.
