In this short documentary, Dr. Michael Lyris Woods celebrates his six‑year wedding anniversary with his wife Felicia. He recounts the surprise proposal on August 25, 2018 at Disney World in Orlando, describing the planned reveal, the song that accompanied it, and his belief that the decision was divinely guided, citing the biblical proverb about finding a wife. He then narrates their wedding ceremony on August 3, 2019 in the Bahamas, where they exchanged vows aboard a cruise ship surrounded by family, friends, and the Atlantic Ocean. Throughout, Woods weaves scriptural references—particularly about love casting out fear—into his testimony, expressing deep gratitude, enduring love, and a promise to continue making Felicia the "happiest woman on this planet." Felicia (Speaker B) responds emotionally, echoing the dream motif and affirming the partnership. The piece blends personal narrative, religious conviction, and romantic sentiment to mark the anniversary.

Well, grace and peace, everyone. This is Dr. Mike Woods. I pray you are well today. Listen, don't scroll. Stay with me. I want you to share my joy for a moment. Today I celebrate 6 years of marriage to the love of my life. Back in 2018, matter of fact, to be exact, August 25th, 2018, in Disney World in Orlando, Florida, I proposed to my wife, Felicia. And when I tell you, it was the best decision that I could have ever made. The Bible says, "He that finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor with the Lord." And since that day, uh, favor has been upon my life in a very heavy way. And I am so grateful that I was obedient to God, that my heart was open to all the love that she carries and brings to my life. I want to take you on just a short journey of what that looked like. So August 25th, my sons and I, my family, my friends, we go down to Orlando. Felicia knows nothing about what's going on. She's going down with her family. Which I've already previously planned this whole thing to surprise her. And we go to the restaurant, Ben sings this beautiful song that so speaks to my finding her. And it simply was just saying that she was a dream, and she really is a dream for me. She's a dream come true to have such pure love, that's irreplaceable. It cannot be replaced with anything. And I am, like I said, I'm such a blessed man because I found her. And then after that, fast forward a year or so, on the 3rd of August of 2019, we went to the Bahamas. On a cruise ship, took some close family and friends with us, and we exchanged our vows surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. I vowed to love her all of my life, and I'm here today to say that hasn't changed. I still do. I still love her. And Palicia, I want you to know I'm going to spend the rest of my life loving you and making sure you are the happiest woman on this planet. So I want to say to you, happy anniversary, and I pray that God's riches and best will always be yours. I love you.
That's a dream. That's my dream. I needed a dream when it all seemed to go bad. Then I found you, and I have had the most beautiful dream any man has ever had. When I first I said, oh my, oh my, that's my dream, that's my dream. I needed a dream to make me strong. You are the only reason I'm here. Oh my God, oh my goodness, don't cry, girl, you going to mess up your makeup.
There's a passage of scripture that says love, perfect love, cast out fear. And ever since you've been in my my life. Your love has been so perfect, so absolute. Any fears I've had of love, you've erased them. All of the hurt, all of the pain, all the brokenness I've gone through, you have literally been my dream. I've always wanted to be able to purely love again, and you've given me that opportunity. And I want to say thank you, and I want to ask you if you will marry me and spend the rest of your life with me.
