Clap those hands, everybody. Just give him a round of applause. He's worthy. Come on, come on, you got two hands. Clap. You're alive, your heart is beating. You got two hands. Clap him, clap him, clap him. Yes, he's worthy. Father, we thank you for your presence. Thank you for resting here with us. Now anoint our ears to hear what the Spirit would say to us today. May we experience the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of the Holy Ghost. Do something unusual, something man cannot do. Saturate the walls of this place and charge the atmosphere. Let your Shekinah glory be revealed. Let the weak leave saying I'm strong. Let the poor leave saying I'm rich. Let the discouraged leave encouraged. And let doubters leave with faith. Let those that need deliverance leave free. We thank you in advance for freedom in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you that what's to come We stand even in this moment, God, at a pivotal point of destiny, and we thank you that what's to come is better than what has been. We trust you, Father, with our very life, and we give you praise now in Jesus' name. Amen. And thanks be to God. Clap your hands and bless him again. Glory to God. God is so good. He's so wonderful. He's so kind. I'm gonna jump right into the heart of this today. Glory to God. Thank you, Lord. Lord, it's all of you. Yes, Lord, you are my shelter, you are my strength. You are a very present help in times of need. You are my fortress, Jesus, my everything. You are the only thing that matters. Lord, it's all about Y'all believe it's all about him? Yes. Thank you, Lord. I want to jump right into this. Um, I want to share with you what the Lord gave me for today. I had in my mind that I was going to preach something else today, and I thought that was the word the Lord wanted me to share today, and I got in the car to drive from Orlando this morning. We got in the car about 6 AM, I guess, and I started out driving. About an hour and 30 minutes in, this sleep came over me that was totally crazy. I mean, I'm like, why am I so sleepy, right? And so I told Felicia, I said, you need to drive. So, and I thought it was just I'm getting some sleep, but I didn't sleep much. I got on the other side and the Lord started talking to me. So, uh, we started typing notes in our phone and whatever the Lord said we put here. So we're just going to prophetically plow through this today. I believe that this is going to be a year, 2024, of action. Say that one more time. Say the year of action. The year of action. I believe some of the things that, whether you're here or watching out there, that have not manifested in your life, they probably haven't manifest because of a lack of action. You can talk about it, you can think about it, you can believe it, yeah, yeah, but if you don't take action, things will never change. Matter of fact, you can have all the faith that there is But if there's no action behind that faith, the thing you're believing for will never happen. You can know the Bible from COVID to cover, but if you don't apply it to your life, you'll never inherit the promises in between the pages. Touch yourself, say, I must be a person of action. And I believe that as we take action this year God is going to meet us inside of action. So I want to start teaching something today that I'm going to be talking about all year, probably, uh, and it's simply this: it's a call to action. Say that with me. Say, a call to action. Now let's go to Hebrews 11, and I'm not going to be long today. I just— I'm just going to sound like it's just This is gonna be real long, but it's not gonna be long. It's gonna sound long. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Hebrews 11, verse number 6. This is going to be the foundation of this entire teaching. I will not touch this much today, but this is the substratum of this whole message that we're going to be talking about as long as the Lord will have us. The Bible says this, Hebrews 11:6. It says, but without faith— say without faith. And we know the word faith, the Greek word is pistis, and it means to be totally confident. Say that with me. Say totally confident, totally reliant, totally dependent upon that you believe. So whatever you believe in, you totally rely on it, you're totally confident in it. You totally depend on it. So if I'm walking by faith, I am walking according to everything God says, and I believe him. I depend on it. Well, how many know there are many times we say we believe and we get outside of the lines of what we say faith is, and we really don't believe it? Because our actions don't show that we believe. I'm gonna keep reading. He says, without faith— watch this— it is impossible to please God. I want you to take note here. He didn't say without tongues. He didn't say without prophecy. He didn't say without prayer. He didn't say without gifts of the Spirit. He didn't say without apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists. He said without faith. Because guess what? You can be none of those things if you don't have faith. Again, faith is substratum of everything we do. If you're, if you're an apostle, a prophet, an evangelist, a pastor, teacher with no faith, you're not going to be very effective. If you're praying with no faith, you're not going to be effective. Your prayers are just going to be words. And my opinion is you might as well not pray if you ain't gonna believe when you pray. Remember, Jesus, he agrees with me. He says, believe when you pray that you receive what you ask. So while I'm asking him for it, I should be believing it. Touch yourself. Say, I believe God. I believe God. Said, this year I'm taking my faith to new dimensions. And you know, as your faith increases, the pleasure you bring God increases. I don't know about you, but the more you walk with God and the more he requires of you, sometimes you feel like you let God down. Because God is so fast, he's so big, and some of the things he requires— I don't know about you, but of me, I know humanly I'm not capable. Amen. And I need him to help me. At the end of the day, I have to believe that he's going to give me the capacity to fulfill what he says to me. Say, I'm increasing my faith. Increasing my faith. And when I increase my faith, say it. I increase my pleasure toward him. Watch this, he said, but he that cometh to God must believe that he is. So again, wait a minute, if I don't believe that God is real, why am I coming to him anyway? Amen. Come on now, we got to believe him. So if I'm gonna step to God, I gotta believe that he's God for real. He's not some fairy tale as some people would like to depict him. He's not a tree. You only got to talk to me. And some of these people said God is everything. He could be a tree, a rock. No, he's not. He's God, and he's real. And if you ever get to know him, you'll know just how real he is. You got to believe that he is, and that he is— I love this part— a rewarder. So there's some rewards for me. Come on, say it. So there's a reward for me. That I must claim. It's just like, uh, I think the Powerball is almost a billion again, right? 18, huh? Somebody said 18. They like me, they've been watching the number. I ain't been watching it to play it unless the prophet— see, I got, I got a problem with some of these prophets. You that accurate? Because see, I'm scared of you. You too accurate anyway, because the Bible said we know in part. Y'all ain't got to say nothing to me. But if you can tell me my name, my address, and my phone number, right, right, I know that already. Let's get them 6 numbers and the Powerball. Since you can see my Social Security number, my phone number, my address, you so good at saying numbers, show me them numbers. Cuz if I keep those numbers, I'm not gambling at that point. Oh, y'all ain't got to talk to me. It ain't gambling if I know I'm going to win. Okay, I don't care what you say, judge me. I'm going to spend that billion dollars by myself then. Because I'm telling you, the prophet come to me and tell me I got the number, I'm going to play it. Y'all ain't got to say nothing. I'm gonna take the blessing however it comes. What I was about to say, if, if that happens and I'm gonna play it, and perhaps I'm not watching when they're pulling the balls and I don't check my ticket, all right, my money is just sitting there. I've already got the reward, and I have to go take the ticket and claim it. Can I tell you there's a reward that comes from God, and you need to show up this year and claim what's yours. I love the word. The word reward means misphah, pogees in Greek. It means that God who— the God who pays wages Watch this, in faith. So he looks at your faith and he blesses according to what you believe. So I got some rewards coming. He's a rewarder of them that diligently— is the action— seek him. Diligent, zeteio in Greek, which means to pursue hard after. With uninterrupted focus, which means this year I'm not letting nothing distract me. I'm telling you, you got to make up your mind. I'm not going to miss it to the left or to the right, and I'm letting nothing distract me from what God says is mine. I'm going to diligently seek, zito, go after him. Come on, you got to make up in your mind. It doesn't matter who it is. Some people you got to just leave behind. Everybody can't go where God is taking you. Everybody's not qualified for the blessing that God's about to release in your life this year. And you got to decide, I'm gonna be diligent. Diligent people have a bulldog-type tenacity. They're aggressive. They bite into something and they don't let it go until they get it. And I'm telling you, if God promised it, you gotta diligently decide this year, I'm going to get what belongs to me. Yes, yes, I think— thank you, Lord. He's a rewarder. Thank you, Lord. So I gotta take action. Thank you, Lord. Go after this thing. I can't just sit here and wait for it to fall out of the sky. I'm here to tell you, it ain't falling out of the sky. There's no more manna. I'm going to say it again. No more manna. In the Old Testament, the Israelites getting manna from heaven, but God ended that dispensation when they went into the promised land. Here's what I found. Okay, ain't nobody asked you. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Say no more manna. No more manna. So I got a promise That's already mine. Thank you. So this, this message today is a call to action. I'm gonna give you a few points, write these down, and then we're gonna get into this heavy. Firstly, inaction, which means doing nothing, breeds doubt and fear. Inaction. I-N-A-C-T-I-O-N. Breeze down the field. And the reason, reason you doubt and fear when it's time for you to get done what you got to get done, because you're not doing anything. But you got to stay busy. Say, I gotta stay busy. So I gotta get it done. And if I really was using a subtopic for this message That's what our call is. Let's get it done. Let's not talk about it, let's get it done. The reason you're afraid is because you're not moving in the faith. The reason you doubt, because you haven't stepped out there and seen what God is able to do. Sometimes you're not going to know what God can do until you get in it with nothing. Amen. And this year you're going to jump into some things with both feet. Are y'all hearing this? And you're going to trust God when you can't see him. Thank you, thank you. And you got to decide, I will not doubt, because doubt and fear are inept to faith. Faith and fear can't even stay in the same place together. So you gotta decide, I'm gonna take action, because action— write this down— breeds confidence and courage. When you take action, you develop confidence, you develop faith, you become fearless. You know how I know that? Because I've done it so many times. Even when you fall on your face, you get up, dust yourself off, and you keep going because you're confident that God's got you. You're confident that you're not alone. So if you really want to conquer doubt, conquer fear, stop sitting at home being lazy thinking about it. Ready for y'all to hear this? For them out there, get up off of your glutinous maximus. Y'all hear me? And do something. Get busy. And so some of the people in this room are too young to remember the Arsenio Hall Show, but Arsenio Hall, after his monologue, he said, let's get busy. Oh, y'all see, too young, y'all too young. He said, let's get busy, and that, that means the show is about to start. Just, just look at somebody, say, let's get busy, let's take action this year. Some of the things, and I can admit Some of the things this year that I was supposed to do, that God told me he would do through me, didn't happen because I either got distracted or I pushed it to the side and said, we're just gonna do something else. And so it creates delays and it slows down the process when you don't align yourself in obedience and take action. Listen to this, you You cannot serve others with an empty vessel. Touch your belly and say, I cannot serve others with an empty vessel. So you gotta get busy filling yourself up. Watch this, you can't give because people need you with empty hands. Are you hearing me? And you can't show up for others— listen to this— when you don't show up for yourself, right? I'm gonna say that one more time. You cannot serve others when you're empty. You cannot give with empty hands. You cannot serve to the highest of your capacity the purpose of the assignment that you've been called to serve And show up in that assignment when you don't show up for you. What's the lesson there? Take care of your body. I hear this this year, you gotta take care of your body. Don't just say you're gonna do it, just don't be at the gym the first 2 weeks of this month. You need to decide this year you're gonna take care of your body. Decide this year you're gonna eat right. Because you can't fulfill your purpose if your vessel is broke down. See, when you're a person of action doing what you're created to do— oh boy, here we go— you, you concerned about how long you're gonna be here, right? So you do the best things for your body so you can stay here and finish. If you die before your assignment is complete, that's murder. We need to stop saying their funerals, well, it was their time, the Lord took them. No, it was them hamburgers every day. Lord ain't took them, it was ribs. It was all that fried fish. Are y'all, y'all hear me? All that fried chicken. And then we be thinking that we can just pray, Lord, take the grease out of it. Come on, he ain't taking the grease out of it. Are y'all hearing me? Yeah, yeah, you need to be wise. I'm not saying you can't eat that, but you got to take care of your vessel. You got to nourish yourself. Are y'all hearing me today? Secondly, you got to take care of your finances. Because there are going to be things you're going to have to give to others to help them. Your money starts looking at you, looking for you, when you get an attitude to be a giver. If you don't have an attitude to give, money ain't gonna come to you. Money comes to those that want to bless others with it. All right, we're blessed to be a blessing. And then take care of your spiritual health. You need to pray every day, you need to worship every day, you need to study every day. You cannot let up off of this, not one day. We're gonna start our 21-day consecration on January 9th. It's gonna set the tone for the rest of the year for you, because the last 14 days is going to be real tough. Because we don't have— we're gonna take it easy the first 7, but the last 14, it's gonna be tough because it's gonna create discipline in you, not only to pray and study, but even in how you eat. These 21 days, we're gonna take all the sugar out of our diet. Oh, y'all ain't got to say nothing. Hopefully by the time it's over, you won't be addicted to it anymore. You realize there's more people addicted to sugar than there are drugs. So not only do we want to get the spiritual benefit of this fast, we want to get the benefit of what it's going to do for our vessel. Because when we're strong naturally, spiritually, financially, mentally, we can go and serve others. So it's a call to action. Two type calls you read about in the Bible. One is the word kaleo, which is an outcall to everybody. God has called those of us that are saved to be saved. Every person is called to be saved. The Bible said before the foundation of the world you were predestined to be saved. So that call went out. You didn't come to God, he brought you to him. He found you. Are y'all hearing this? He chose you. I know you thought you came to church and came down in a high moment and gave your life to Jesus. It was all part of a plan. The Bible said no man comes to the Father except he— soukouro in Greek— draw them, which the Greek word means to drag them. Because many of us was kicking and screaming. We didn't want to get saved, but when it was time for you to come to God, he dragged you in. Are y'all hearing this? It's not because you wanted him. He had already chose you. That's not kaleo. That's the outcall. We're predestined to be saved. He loved you when you didn't love yourself. Are y'all hearing this? He cared for you when you didn't care for yourself. While you was yet a sinner, he died for you. Good God. While you were doing everything you wanted to do, he was loving you the whole time. I mean, you was— you were dead wrong to the left. And God was like, I yet love you. You all say thank God for loving me, because I'm telling you right now, it could have been the other way. Because there's some people that ain't predestined. Predestined means he decided before you got here. There are some people that will never be saved. That's why hell has enlarged himself. And it's not God, for the inclusionists, that's throwing people in hell. It's the lifestyle and the rejection of God that people are choosing that they go to hell. When God predestined you and you reject him That's how you get there. He become your whole life and you still don't accept him. But thank God for the outcall, which means he summons you to action. That's what a call is, a summons to action. But here's another one you read in the Greek, klētos. Klētos is a personal call based on an authentic reservation. That God has reserved for you alone. There's an assignment, there's a purpose that only you can do. There's something nobody else can perform but you. Say that with me. Something unique. Y'all stay with me. Say I'm authentic. Say I'm vintage. Say I am called to action. So action is the process of being active. It's being involved, it's being engaged with instructions or assignment and carrying them out as given. So taking action is not doing it the way you want to do it. Are y'all hearing me? It's doing it the way God says do it. You don't get to choose how you do it. Touch yourself. Say, I gotta do it this way. So if you— if I broke the call down in 5 parts, Genesis 1:28— I don't have time to preach it. Matter of fact, y'all can read it later, but it says, be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue the earth, and have dominion in the earth. So here's the call to action. First is to serve others and make the world better. Say, I'm here to serve others and make the world better. Listen to this, that's being fruitful. The scripture says be fruitful, not do fruitful, be fruitful. We are human beings, not human doings. So being fruitful means I become a seed that's sown into this world. Glory to God. So I can bring forth fruit after my kind. That's why he said be fruitful, multiply. So you ought to be multiplying people who are in your influence or in your sphere of DNA. That, that means you reproduce other people of like passion. I want to challenge you this year to heed the call, that next year this time you can look back over your shoulder and say— and just look around you and look at your culture and see that you reduced, oh my God, yourself from yourself, and you reproduced people after your kind. Can I tell you something? There's some souls who are predestined to be saved that are assigned to your voice. Oh boy, you've got to find them and you got to sow yourself into them. That's how the multiplication happens. Oh God, when we begin to multiply consistently, watch this, we become the Earth's or the human realm's source of supply. We must become the humans that the world look to for counsel, for guidance, for resources. We can't do that, it would not be fruitful if all we're doing is coming to church and having good church. What happens when we do this? We make God's way of operation irresistible to the world. Right now, people don't want to go to church. It's resistible on a lot of levels, right? Because people look at the character of leaders. I prophesied at the beginning of this year that we will see major leaders exposed. I prophesied it right in this room 2 weeks ago. We still see it. Here's a reality. We gotta become the church for real so that when people looks at us, they see God, they see something different than them. If we're just like them, they don't want to be a part of that. They just stay out there, keep doing what they're doing. So we need to set a standard, raise the plumb line. And give them something that's irresistible. When we see power and miracles and breakthrough, that makes the church irresistible. But not only that, when we balance that thing out, and when we leave the church and they see you prospering and they see you living well, oh my God, it becomes irresistible. Touch yourself, say, just declare, say, I'm irresistible. Sounds good, don't it? Hallelujah! Say it again. Say, I'm irresistible. Say, I'll live according to God's way. See, when we do these things, when we, when we serve others, make the world better, when we reproduce others with like passion, when we become Earth's system of supply, when we make God's way of doing things irresistible, here's what happens. We take over every kingdom of the world. The Bible said the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of my God in Christ. That cannot happen if we just churchgoers. It ain't gonna happen. You got to be out there, some doing kingdoms. So how do we get this done, Michael Woods? I'm glad you asked. How do we heed this call? How do we move into it? Go to Philippians 4, verses number 6 and 7, because I believe to effectively manifest this call to action and to help others experience their best year ever while we're experiencing our best year ever, we gotta master these areas of individual action. So before we even get into corporate action, we gotta master these areas of individual action in ourselves. I'm not gonna be long, I'm almost through, believe it or not. And because I'm just gonna really give you the structure of what this looks like, don't come back and teach all of these. Philippians 4:6 says, be not anxious about nothing. But in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your request to God. My God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. So the first area we got to master individually to get this thing done, to be people of action, you got to take action in this area. First area, you gotta master your emotions. Oh boy, say, I gotta master my emotions. Most of the time we're emotional about things because we're anxious about stuff. The scripture says, be anxious for nothing. Most people are emotional about stuff because they want too much too fast. They want things that God did. I don't want anything that God didn't give me. I don't want a friend that God didn't give me. I don't want— yeah, I don't want to be around people that I'm not supposed to be around if God didn't ordain that. Are you listening to this? You— some of us are anxious for things. We're trying to make something happen that ain't gonna happen. And then we get emotional about it when it doesn't, right? I'mma tell you something, this year you got to stop being a baby, crying about every little thing that comes up. Okay, every time something happen, listen, grow up. And get your emotions in check. Okay, I'm gonna preach this camera because that's not these people here. Listen, I need y'all to understand, you got to be mature up, woman up, man up. Put your big girl panties on, put your big boy drawers on, and decide I'm not gonna be anxious for nothing. But when something arise I'm gonna take this thing to God in prayer. Are y'all hearing this? The scripture said, it said every situation, whatever comes up, he said take this thing, stop whining about it, pray about it. Come on now, come on. Yes, yes. Stop complaining about it and pray about it. Get some faith. Watch this. Never complain about what you permit. I'm gonna say it one more time. Never complain about what you permit. If you are allowing it, shut up about it. You don't get to complain about something you're letting happen. Okay, I was on vacation this week. I'm good and rested. Y'all ain't got to say nothing to me. I prayed before I got here. All right, glory to God. Listen, I'm not preaching for amens. I'm just trying to tell you the truth. I'm trying to help you have your best year ever. All right, thank you, thank you for that, thank you for that. He said every prayer and petition with thanksgiving. So you woke up in prayer knowing that it's already done. All he's saying is when you petition God, you go in worshiping and praising that what you are about to ask for has already been done. Why are you going to prayer with doubt? But you got to take an enemy and get your— God is not moved by your tears. Come on now, come on. I prayed in the crowd, I prayed in the crowd, and I've been praying and crying for years and God still ain't working out. He ain't gonna work it out. Cuz he's looking for faith. He's looking for somebody that rejoices in the fact that this thing is already complete. So I got to master my emotions. God says when you do this, verse 7, he said, the peace of God, the presence of God's assistance— that's peace, not the absence of confusion— the presence of God will transcend all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind, which means the presence of God will get your emotions under control. I'm going give you 6 steps real quick to master your emotions. Write them down, cuz I'm losing y'all, so I'm going just go on and teach this. Number 1, you got to identify the emotion. You gotta identify that negative emotion as an action signal. So when you feel a negative emotion arise, that's an action signal for you to take action against that. Are y'all hearing me? Instead of letting it fester, if something makes you angry You need to start examining you. What action do I need to take? Why am I angry about this? That's right, come on now, come on. Yes, yes, 9 times out of 10 we're angry not because of what somebody did. We're really angry at ourselves. Oh, y'all don't like this. That's okay. See, when you expose yourself in the emotion it gives you the power to defeat it. All right, all right, come on. But if you keep blaming everybody else for why you're feeling the way you feel— come on now, let me, let me give you this. You don't get to allow others to make you feel guilty of about what they're doing to themselves. So there's some people who are doing things to themselves, right? Come on. And they'll try to make you feel guilty about something they're doing to theyself, and you ain't got nothing to do with what they're doing to themselves. I'm telling you something, you better— you have to own your stuff. Oh Lord. And you got to make up in your mind, I want to be free, so I'm gonna take action. I'm not gonna blame somebody else because I'm sad. If you said that's your own fault, you got to take control over your emotion. When God said the fruit of the Spirit is joyfully-yam, why you sad? And you got the Holy Ghost in your life, he lives in you. Oh God. And then go have the nerve to be singing, he has made me glad, he has made me glad, I will rejoice for he has made me glad. Just be saying. And as soon as somebody make you mad You forget that song, you be singing some, something else. I'm going to keep you. Yeah, the reality is you got to unmask that emotion and stop letting people push you there. Come on now, come on, help me, help me. I was down in Florida a couple of times this week. You know, I just— I guess sometimes being around people, because I'm— my wife will tell you, most of the time I'm just an isolated dude. I do what I do by myself most of the time. But, uh, so we went out to see The Color Purple, a group of us. I had about like 7, 9 seats. We get to the movies Somebody in our seats. So my wife immediately knows that it's about to be a problem. So I hear her under her breath, Shaki de dabasa. I'm saying to myself, they don't need to talk in tongues, they going to get up out my seats. Wow. I mean, yeah, yeah. And so I got— I said, excuse me, sir, these— this— most of this road belongs to us and we need our seats. All right, all right. So again, the man is trying to make me feel guilty about what he's doing to himself. He says, why are you talking to me like that? He's African. So why you talking to me like that? I said, sir, I just want our seats. I said, these are— he goes for his phone, show me ticket. I said, no, no, I have these seats. I just need you to relocate. But you don't have to talk to me like that. Wow, that's crazy. So everybody now see me getting bit out of shape. They sitting there, well, we'll just take these up. No, I'm like, no, we don't take nothing else. We're gonna take these seats we paid for. I need you, sir, to get up. But I had to, because that could have went real bad for him. He was about to be cast in The Color Purple. He'd have been part of the film. But I had to control— are y'all hearing this— that emotion. Because I'm going to say, you African man, you don't get up out of my seat. So I just, you know, and then people that was with him said, those are not your seats, just get up and move. And what they were doing was movie hopping. They had already seen another movie and then came in, so you all the way out of order. So, and acting like you about to pick up your phone. I'm trying to tell you, listen, if that could have went real bad if I didn't control My emotions. Are y'all hearing me? So I gotta identify the emotion. I would have called him up back to Atlanta, said, I need bail money, I'm in. Oh, so I gotta identify the emotion. Number 2, here we go. You gotta appreciate— watch this— and clarify the message. So once you identify the emotion, you got to clarify what the emotion is trying to tell you. Once you identify, you got to identify the value of that emotion and clarify what it's trying to tell you about you. If you're trying to push that on somebody else, when you were emotional, he's trying to tell you something about you. Touch yourself, say my emotions. Will speak to me. Will speak to me. Because at the basic level, what your emotions are doing when negative emotions arise is telling you something you need to change. That's right. So this year, 2024, when the attacks come, yeah, yeah, it does. And you identify the emotion, instead of reacting to the attack Clarify what the message is. What can you learn from how you want to react so you can mature? Number 3, write it down. You got to get curious. Get curious about how you really want to feel instead of that emotion. Why? You got to start asking yourself questions. Why do I feel like this? How do I really want to feel? I don't want to be angry. I don't want to fight. I don't want to yell. I want to be mad. I don't want to be upset. Ask yourself, get curious, and then start saying stuff to yourself like, what do I need to do? What do I need to believe to feel better, to feel different? Pick up your Bible, talk to God. Don't just accept that emotion. Watch this, number 4, write it down. I'm trying to show you how to master these negative emotions. Individual action. You got to become confident— watch this— about past success. So you got to think back to a specific time when you successfully dealt with a similar emotion. And that's really what I did, and I do a lot of that helping me with people, I go back to times where I had the same thing come up and I defeated it. You got to go back to your testimony and how God brought you over in the past. Are y'all hearing this? Yes, yes, yes. I love the Lord. Say, I can defeat negative emotions. I did it before, I can do it again. Here's number 5: you got to be certain that God will help you— watch this— master the emotion, because you're not by yourself. If you talk to him, he'll help you. There's a space between stimulus and response. So you stimulate it, go to the space, talk to God before you respond. He'll help you master the emotion. Yeah, yeah. You know, if you know you emotional in certain areas and you're about to deal with something, you got to get a vision on how you're going to deal with it when you're in that person's presence or when you're dealing with that certain issue if it arises. Going around my family I'm pretty emotional. I love my family, but I'm almost— I got these emotional issues because of how I grew up in my dad's house. And a lot of things, they don't see it. They don't really expect me to feel that way because they weren't on the receiving end of it. I loved it, but at the end of the day, I have to— whenever I go to his house Whenever there's a family gathering, I have to adjust my emotions. So just in case somebody say or do the wrong thing, I ain't up in there flying off. Are y'all hearing me? Yes, sir. Have to bring those thoughts into captivity. I have to get a vision that when I walk through these doors, I'm gonna move in peace. No matter what anybody says or do, no matter how they look at me. Uh, there was one time, uh, Felicia, she, she, she— y'all pray for the First Lady because she ain't master how people deal with me. So there was something that happened one time a couple of years back. We went to the house, um, and I have 1, 2, 3— I have 3 grandchildren. That are grandchildren of my father. And so all the other— his other grandkids were there, and we were there, and we just— we went over Christmas like just as a visit like we normally would. And so they were celebrating, everybody passing out gifts and exchange. Of course, I bring elaborate gifts, so I'm giving out my gifts. And Felicia has a problem. I've already got a vision. They ain't gonna give you nothing. I didn't go to receive nothing. I got here, it is— I went to give. And I already had a vision of who I was dealing with, and I knew they were going to steal my joy when I left out of there because they didn't give me nothing. Because it wasn't about me. But my wife saw this for the first time, and she was like, I can't believe they did that. She's like, it took everything in me to hold my tongue. She was ready, but I told her, I've learned to cast vision that I'm not gonna let nothing steal my joy. And see, when you got control of your emotions, nobody can take who God has made you. Oh boy, you got to know who you are. And you got to know the value you have to him. Oh my God, you got to know. Watch it. I, I posted this. God gave me this revelation earlier this week. I was playing golf. The reality is you got to know the power of value and places. You got to know, praise the name of God, that in some places where you're not valued, it doesn't matter. Shake the dust from your feet. Just change places so you get the value that you deserve. Are y'all hearing this? You could go to Kroger and buy a bottle of water for $1 to Sunday when they got it on sale with your Kroger Plus card. You go to the airport, that same bottle is $5. Uh-huh. Yeah, same to Sunday, $5. Go to a hotel, $3. What's the difference? Same bottle, same bread, change of place. The place changed its value. You gotta decide, I'm going to be where I'm valued. And you handle people that don't value you for who you are. It's not their fault, they just can't see your value. Where there's no revelation, there's violation. If I have not been revealed to people, they gonna violate me. If you have not been revealed to people, that's why they violate you. And you've got to learn to hold your peace and let the Lord fight your battle. You're only talking to me here. You gotta learn to be still and know that he is God. And then no matter what people do, you ain't gonna move me out of this place. You ain't gonna steal my joy. You ain't gonna make me quit. You ain't gonna make me give up. I will not stop being anointed. Because you can't see who I am. I will not— oh my God— go back and lose my mind and walk with low self-esteem another day in my life because I know who I am. Let's let somebody say, I am who God says I am. So number 6, if you want to master negative emotion, glory to God, you gotta be excited And you gotta take action, which means you gotta be so excited that you do something right away, immediately when you feel the emotion. That shows you can master the emotion, even if it's opening your mouth saying, Satan, the Lord rebuke you, I will not go there. Glory to God, I got the power over this. And you got to learn— see, I grew up fighting, man. I grew up in a neighborhood where I had to fight my lunch money, fight to keep my shoes, fight. I mean, we had crazy folks. We're gonna read no book, but we're trying to steal your books. Y'all not talking. Just to intimidate you. So I had to fight for everything. So fight is in me. Glory to God. And there was a time in my life I would walk around with this big red button. Yeah, I wish you would. That button said, I wish you would. I wish you would do something to me. I wish you would be in my seat. I wish you would would talk about me because I'm gonna get you. But I've learned to master that, and I'm excited that I can master it, that I got control. Glory to God. The second thing you got to take individual action— and I'm coming, I'm quickly coming to a close— is your ego. Ah, you're gonna have to take some action and get that ego in check. Ego is the Latin word— are y'all ready— for I. It's the Latin word for I. I is the middle letter of every word that separates us or disconnects us from God. S-I-N. Because of your sin, you're Separated from God. Pride, P-R-I-D-E. A haughty spirit comes before destruction. Are y'all hearing me? You got to check your ego at the door. E-G-O, edging God out, which means it's about you. Come on now, you're self-absorbed. And God said you have to make up in your mind, this ain't about me, it's about his business. It's about his plan. It's about his desire for my life. So I gotta get my ego in check. Watch this, I'm gonna tell you why. Proverbs 22:4. Because watch this, when you see people that begin every sentence with I, watch them, because that's a sign that they got a big ego. And everything in their world is about them. Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah. Come before a fall. Watch this. The reward of humility— this is how you deal with it— you have to humble yourself. The reward of humility and fear of the Lord— listen to this— is riches and honor and life. So God says, if I humble myself and fear him and reverence him, and I have an ego, he said, I'll give you riches. I can trust you with them because you won't flaunt them to make people feel bad. It won't be all about you. You'll be blessed to be a blesser. He says, I'll give you honor among your world, and I'll give you long life. Where life is long life. Egotistical people don't live long. That's why you got to choose to humble your mother. A lot of them get shot or they die from stress because they make everything about them. But life is not about you, it's not about me. What we do for God is not about us, it's about him. So I gotta get my ego in check. That's what happens when you got a bad ego, and you, you could be walking in heavenly places with a bad ego and get kicked out. Isaiah 14, verses 12 and 13, it says, how are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning? So Lucifer, the son of the morning, he was the worshiping angel. The chief worshiping angel, that whenever God needed worship, he would call for Lucifer, and Lucifer would lead the entire host of heaven in worship. His wings had instruments in them. God asked the question, said, hey, how you falling from heaven? I want to know that too. You in heaven, how do you get kicked out? That's dumb. I mean, that really is dumb. You already in heaven, we working hard to get to heaven, and you get kicked out. Here's what happens. He said, how you cut down to the ground, you who weaken the nations? But you have said in your heart— here we go— I will ascend into heaven. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God. I will also sit on the mount of the congregation, on the farthest sides of the north. And I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, and I will be like the Most High. Ego, his gift, exalted him above measure. Can I tell you something? I'm gonna move to the next one. You got to master this because I'm gonna come back and just teach an old message on ego. Never think more highly of yourself than you ought to. Are you hearing me? Always be where you are. Are y'all hearing me? Yes, it's the safest place. Ain't no need being in a hurry. Be where you are. So I got to master my emotions, got to master my ego. Come on, say that with me. Say, I got to master my emotions, I got to take action and master my ego. Thirdly, again, remember, you cannot serve with an empty vessel. Your vessel has to be healed. It has to be whole. You can't serve out of a broken system. You need to be whole so that when you release things to people, it is released in wholeness. You cannot serve with empty hands. You cannot give with empty hands. You cannot change the world and show up for everybody else We have a shoulder for yourself. Here's the last one: you must take action to control your economics. So emotions— see, we don't like to talk about this in church— ego and economics. But watch this, Ecclesiastes 10:19. The prophet says, a feast is made for laughter So it's okay when we eat, to laugh when we eat. Amen. To enjoy our food, to have joy. We ought to have joy, right? Wine makes life merry. For those of you that want to drink a glass of wine and use this for the reason you do it, the wine that you drink ain't the same wine. This is grape juice. That's what this is. Study the text. Ain't no added alcohol, none of that. This is fermented grapes, okay? So you're gonna go, so well, Apostle said I can make merry, I can get me some wine. No, ain't what I said. I said you can go get you some grape juice. Glory to God. Wine makes life merry. And watch this though, money is the answer for everything. It's in the Bible. You could be saved and floating and flying, but you can't answer the light bill with that. You need some money. Money answers everything. According to the text. Yeah, do y'all believe that? Nobody wants to go through life— here it is, and I'm done, I'm closing— not being able to afford not only the things they need but also the things they want. Nobody wants to go through life like that. So this year, you got to take your economics serious. But that means you're going to take some action to change that. Money can't buy you happiness, but it definitely can buy you comfort. That's right. Ah, you only got to say nothing. I told you I prayed for a guy. He haven't been on vacation since last Friday. The reality is you need some money. You can't go down to Georgia Power speaking in tongues. They're gonna put you— yeah, you can go down there, they're gonna take you right to the grade, to the 8th floor. We got one down here, y'all come get him, because you can't do it. Money can buy comfort, it can buy freedom. It can buy your time back. It can give you your life to be free to do what you want to do. You can enjoy nice things when you got money. I appreciate God for the blessing of money. Say that with me. Say, I thank God. Thank God for the blessing of money. Blessing of money. Say, in 2024, my economics will be greater than ever. I'm telling you, something to have the freedom to be able to do what you need to do when you need to do it. Yes, Lord. We were down in Orlando, and I thank God I had the freedom not to even think about just what I wanted to do. We were going to amusement parks, going out to dinner, whatever we did. That's freedom. It's freedom to trust the blessing of God. Are y'all hearing this? Say I'm free financially. I'm gonna give you 7 steps real quick. I ain't gonna stay with them long to master your money because I'm gonna come back and teach this over again. No, no, again, I just want to give you the construct. You got to understand that 80% of wealth— listen, I'm telling you this because money has all things. So you need to know this. Two things we don't want to talk about in church: sex and money. But we want both. Most of the time we want a lot of both. Okay, well, maybe not in this place, but some of y'all want a lot of both. Number one, you gotta understand that 80% of wealth is psychology, it's mindset. Money is not currency, your mind is. Your bank account is a direct reflection of how you think. A lot of times we think money is— the scripture said money has all things. It didn't say money is the ultimate power. It's not. That's a limited faith. That's a limited belief. God's the ultimate power. Money becomes a tool that God uses to get done what he needs to get done in this realm of exchange where we need Are y'all hearing this? Money has no power alone. It only has the power you give it, right? You can have a whole lot of money and do bad with it. You have a whole lot of money and do nothing with it. But you can have a whole lot of money and do a whole lot of good with it. You can take your money and empower it to be great. Hallelujah. Number 2, when it comes to your money, you want to master it, you got to work on self-discipline. We live in an age, y'all, with self-gratification, instant gratification, where most people don't even know what they want, but they want it now. They don't even know what they want. Whatever it is, they want it right now. Self-discipline says, I'm gonna put off doing this so I can do this later. When it comes to money, you cannot let money burn a hole in your pocket. Are y'all hearing this? I'm smelling food and have the chips, bro. I hope you're listening back there. Say, self-discipline will position me to master money. Amen. Gotta master your mind when it comes to spending. Most people don't even have a budget. They don't know what they got to do from month month. Y'all hear this? They just get money and spend it. Number 3, write this down. I'm not going to teach these because I'll be here all day. I can teach these all day. This is just a construct. I'll come back and teach them. You got to become financially literate. See, another limiting belief— say limiting belief. Limiting See, we're limited in what we believe about money in these different areas because we— a lot of times we believe we're just not smart enough to figure money out. I'm telling you, it really ain't that hard. There's too much information to make money easy. You gotta learn it. You got to develop a financial vocabulary. You got to learn how to invest. You can go on YouTube and learn how to invest. There are people that teach it all day long. Watch those videos. But you don't even know we looking for the spiritual videos, and we get real hyped up spiritually, suited up, fat. Are y'all hearing this? And then we have no resources. Well, we got to balance that. You got to become financially literate. Number 4, you got to set goals. You got to set some goals for financial freedom. You got to set a goal to not be renting at home. Are y'all hearing this? Set a goal to buy an automobile cash. Y'all listening? Set a goal to pay off your mortgage if you got one. And you know God is able to help you do that, right? Because he said money answers all things. So you got to set some financial goals. And listen, the way you do this, you need a plan, a financial plan where you take action with that plan every day. I call it a MAP, a Massive Action Plan, a map that relates to where you're trying to get financially. If a million is your number, if you want to make a million dollars, how you gonna get it? If you're gonna make $100,000, how you gonna get there? You need a map. You can't jump, shout, speak in tongues this into existence. You have to do this. You gotta take action. Oh, it's quiet now because we wanted to fall out of the sky. I'm sorry, it's not. You gotta do the work. There's so many people who die and never experience the benefit of what God had in store for them because they don't take action. Number 5, get the tools you need. So 80% is mindset, 20% is mechanics. You got to get the right tools. Oh boy, that's how you're going to master it. You gotta— part of the tools is really take the position of a learner, learning from people who already know. There are people that know stuff about money that you don't know. You got to sit at their feet, you got to learn it. Just like we want to learn spiritual— you know, we learned about money go to school, get a degree, get a job, and whatever the job pays. It's so much more to it than that. So y'all learn the game. Number 6, make yourself irresistible to money. Ah, that's called the kingdom law of attraction, where provision is looking for you. Let me tell you something, you're always in proximity to the blessing of the Lord. I talked about this last month, the blessing of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow. You're always in proximity to that blessing, but you got to make yourself irresistible to it so that money will come looking for you. Can I prophesy to you, those that are watching, those in here, in 2024, money is already accumulating and it's already waiting for you in certain seasons. But you got to be in the right place, in the right mindset, cuz it's not going to come if you ain't ready for it. So that's why you got to learn what you got to learn. And number 7, I got to go. I'm going to teach, teach this whole thing. Later with— on these 3 points. I'm gonna teach them all separately because it'll take me all day. I'm out of time. I'm learning to create a growth culture. I'm learning. That means I can't preach all day. Glory. It's just being wise. If you want to grow, you got to create a growth culture. Amen. Someone said, well, the Holy Spirit is leading me— not the Holy Spirit ain't leading you to teach all day. It ain't God, that's you want to talk all day. Glory to God. You got to create a growth culture. Some people ain't gonna come and sit up and listen to you all day. Are you hearing this? So we gotta create a growth culture. So I'm trying to do— my spiritual father says, he told me, he said, you preach too long, man. So I'm trying to do better. I'm trying to be obedient, son. Glory to God. You got to become a creator of your own life. Touch your belly. Say, I'm a creator because the Holy Spirit lives in me. Say that again. Say, I am a creator because the Holy Spirit lives in me. Oh God, he created heaven and earth. He created you and I. So you got to become a master of your life and become a creator of the life you deserve. How did he create it? He opened his mouth and started speaking. You shape the world you live in with your words. Start opening your mouth and saying what you want to see. Start speaking plans into existence for you to follow, to bring to pass what God has promised for your life. You Creator, you got to get it done. You play soccer. Hallelujah! Y'all stand. I know they working in there, but can you ask them to step in here for a moment? While we pray. Glory to God. Hallelujah. We give you glory, God. I hope y'all learned something today. Amen. Glory to God. We bless you, Father. I will do a new thing. In you it shall be done. I will do a new thing. My work I will perform. Now I stretch forth my healing hand to give my word to you. Remember not the things of old. A new thing I, I will do. I will do a new thing in you. It shall be done. I need you to hear the Lord. There's something new happening in your life. He's saying, I will do a new thing as we go into this new set of days. He's saying, my work I will perform. Now I stretch forth my healing hand to give my word to you. Remember not the things of old. Remember not the things of old. A new thing I, I will do. I will do a new thing. I want you to close your eyes and just throw your arms around yourself. In you it shall be done. And as the Lord ministers newness to you, I want you to decide today that you're going to take action over your emotions, over your ego, over your economics. I will do a new thing. By word I will perform. Yes, God. Now I stretch forth my healing hand to you, my word to you. Rhythm of all the things of old. Rhythm of all the things of old. Rhythm of all the things of old. A new thing I, I will do. He's making making all things new. He's making all things new. He's not making all new things. He's making all things new. He's making all things new. In the word of the Lord, he's making all He's not making all new things. He's making all things new. Grab somebody by the hand. We're praying. God is raising up a people of action. It's a call to action. It's a call to to serve others. It's a call to make the world better. It's a call to reproduce ourselves. It's a call to subdue the earth into the ways of God. It's a call to subdue the kingdoms of the world so that the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our God. God says to us today, as we move into this new year, it is not only the beginning of a new year, it is the beginning of a decade. And God says, from 24 to 34, God says, I'll begin to pour out fresh faith. I'll begin to position the elected, those who are summoned, those who are called, those that will move in action. God says, I'll move you to the forefront and you will become the leaders of our day. God says in this world I'm going to raise up people even beyond the walls of the church that the world will look to for guidance, that will look to for resources and answers. And God says to tell you, even in the days where you're outnumbered, where you are out-resourced and out of options, he said to tell you, I am with you. And because you You move in faith and you move with action. For even I have said to you, said the Lord, that faith without works is dead. Faith without corresponding action is dead. Be alone. And I say unto you, said the Lord, rise up in faith and move with corresponding action. And as you do this, you'll never be empty. You'll never be lacking, and you'll never be broken. For I say that to you today, as you control your temper, control your anger, control your flesh, control your lust, control your behaviors, I the Lord say to you, I will present a pure thing, a clean thing, a new thing. I will show forth a a thing that the world has never seen, that the world has never known. For I'm bringing forth a people who will act out holy behavior, who will be holy before me, who will exhibit practical holiness and responsible Christianity. For I'm calling you now to a new place of action. For I say to you today, repent. He said, he said, I'm calling you to repentance today. Even now, I just want you, while you're holding that hand, I want you to just begin to repent to God for sin of omission and commission, things that you may have done that you don't know you did. But before you go into this new year, God He said leave the dirt behind. He said cover in the blood. Come on, repent and ask God to purge you as Bishop. Oh my God, wash us, God, and we shall be clean. Create in us a clean heart and renew the right spirit within us, God. Take that the Holy Spirit from us, God. We take action to clean up ourselves. The days we've been emotional when we shouldn't have, the days we acted like a baby when we should have trusted you, we repent, God. The days we went left when you told us to go right, we We repent, God. We repent for taking on assignments and ventures that you never told us to do. But God, we declare this year we'll lock into focus and we'll take action to do what we created to do. We won't obey our ego. We won't allow ego to control our direction. Pride to control our direction. God, I even repent before this people for allowing my ego to keep me in Jackson longer than I should have been, to keep me consistent in doing that when you told me months ago to slow down. God, I repent for following my ego. And Father, I repent and I ask for your forgiveness even before these people, when I should have been focused on this work and I should have been pouring resources into this work, and I was pouring time and money into a work— —God, that needed to be built slowly. God have mercy, have mercy. I tell them outside, oh, don't you judge me. You got some mess in your life. I need you to talk to God. When you followed your ego and you've done too much and you lingered too long and you had too many conversations and you woke up in the water bed and you followed your own ambition issue. God says repent and do your first works over. If you want to be blessed in 2024, repent. Repent for overindulgence. Repent for doubting fear. Oh, sh— God was trying to grow you up quickly and accelerate you. And you just tried to stay a baby. Repent for doubt and not trusting God. God says, I prepared more. He says, eyes have not seen and ears have not heard, neither has it been revealed in the heart of men. The good things I'm preparing for you, said the Lord. Praise the Lord, and grace and peace be multiplied to each one of you from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is Apostle Mike Woods, and I sat down today to personally invite you— yeah, you— to be my very special and personal guest during our I Am the One Revival Encounter. Listen, there's going to be miracles, there's going to be signs, there's going to be wonders, and there's going to be a powerful word from the Lord that's going to transform your life and change the entire trajectory of 2024 and beyond for you. We have none other than Apostle Stephen A. Davis. Say, what I'm going to do because you've been through so much, I'm going to remove the waiting period. He said, because you suffer so long, I'm gonna remove the waiting period. Because when you suffer a long time, you will give up quickly if the time is extended. But God is bringing that time, reducing that time. He's reducing it. He's reducing it. Listen, you need to come out, be edified, enriched, educated, empowered to become a better version of you. And I promise you, if you come to this meeting, listen, and you adhere to the word spoken, 2024 is going to be your best year ever. So get to Rhoda Church Atlanta January 7th and 8th, 2024. 6:30 PM is our start time. I'm telling you, you don't want to miss this, man. I'll see you guys Sunday and Monday. It's going to be powerful.
