ABUNDANCE '26 | APOSTLE LAMORRIS RICHARDSON | 27 FEBRUARY 26 | RADAH CHURCH

In this impassioned sermon, Apostle Lamorris Richardson preaches a message of biblical abundance and prosperity while warning against the spiritual pitfalls of wealth. He opens by acknowledging his humble background and the difficulty of interpreting Scripture, then moves into a detailed exposition of Deuteronomy 8:7‑14, describing the promised "good land" as a metaphor for God’s material blessings and the responsibility to steward them. Richardson links poverty to generational curses, harmful habits, and systemic issues such as a minimum wage set below the poverty line, illustrating how these factors keep Black communities trapped. He emphasizes that true wealth comes from a covenant relationship with God, not personal achievement, and cautions against pride, worship of mammon, and forgetting God after receiving blessings. The sermon pivots to practical spiritual disciplines: tithing, seed offerings, and the specific $88 "seed" appeal. Richardson explains the theological basis for tithing (referencing Abram, Melchizedek, and the concept of a "lease payment" to God) and argues that faithful giving breaks curses and unlocks multiplication. He repeatedly calls the congregation to respond, urging them to give $40 tithe, $5 offering, and the $88 seed, promising that God will multiply what is given. He also invokes the prayer of Jabez, urging listeners to ask God for a real, tangible blessing. Throughout, Richardson interweaves personal anecdotes, cultural references, and interactive call‑and‑response, addressing issues like alcoholism, family conflict, and community development. He outlines a vision for a new real‑estate project called "Love City," seeking investors and promising divine favor on the venture. The sermon concludes with a collective prayer, a declaration of upcoming abundance for the next 30 days, and a final exhortation to give, forgive, and walk in the blessings promised by Scripture.
Chapters
I've been preaching for a long time, but I'm a country boy, and sometimes my subject and verbs don't agree. But if you hang in there, I'm gonna teach you this text. So if I throw you in one of the hardest words you ever heard, you know, something like pergamene, and you just— just pause. Amen. Now, I know a little bit about that city because I was— I grew up in Oakland. That's my history. When God called me to preach, there was no imagination in me strong enough to imagine what he would do in my life and where he would take me. It was simply hearing the call—
watch this—
and then daring to be obedient. And I, I realized, uh, going to church, that a lot of stuff that people told me the Bible said, it never said. And part of the problem was I was trying to live out something that did not agree with the word of God. And you know, you can, you can, you can put yourself in a bind But a lot of the things I was going through, the devil wasn't even in town. The devil was in the Bahamas somewhere on vacation. But it was easier for me to blame the devil than to say I need to go back to God and get a fresh revelation. So I'm going to talk with about abundance. Lord, bless my my lips these next few moments. Give me what to say and how to say it. May I minister a word that is fresh. May it fall on the ears of those that hear, and may we be made free by the scriptures. In Jesus' name, amen. Now, the Bible is very intentional and purposeful about how it talks about wealth. Prosperity and money. I need you to listen at this. While on one hand it teaches us God's desire to bless us in a material, in financial manner, it also warns us of the many pitfalls we can fall into when money and wealth is loved, worshiped, or mis— value. Somebody said, don't love it, don't worship it, and don't put a value on it that it does not deserve. I wanna, I wanna, I wanna start with Deuteronomy chapter 8. Deuteronomy chapter 8, look at verse number 7. I'm gonna read verse 7 through 14 and then I'm gonna take off. All right. For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land. So God, God begins to describe what he wants for us. He begins to desire, uh, to describe, amen, what he wants us to believe him for. So he says to the children, God's bringing you into a good land. Watch this, a land of brooks of water. So it's not a dry land. How do you know dry land can't grow much? So he says it's not a dry land, it's, it's brooks of water. Of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills. It's a land of wheat, so you can, you can, you can make bread, you can make, you can make, you can make, uh, different things you can, you can cook and make out of bread. So it's a land of wheat, it's a land of barley, it's a land of vines. That could be grapevines, that could be, you know, just There's, there's certain fruits that grow on the vine— watermelons, amen. The different fruits that grow on the vine. It's a land of vines. It's— there's fig trees there, there's pomegranates there. It's a land of all olive and honey. Now you know, any land that's full of all this kind of stuff, uh, it can't be to eat. I mean, how much honey you gonna eat? How much wheat you gonna eat? So he's— what he's giving you there is that it's a land of business. You're gonna get you a couple of jars of honey and put it inside, and then you're gonna sell the rest. When you read the Bible, he talks about all that was over in the Promised Land, and he tells them, you know, you got these big grapes, and it took 2 men to bring back 1 bunch of of grapes. They're not eating all that stuff. That'll make you sick. You can't just sit down and eat honey and— no, no, no. What he's describing is a place that is economically and agriculturally— amen— it is prosperous, it is blessed. There is an abundance where he's taking you. Somebody said, there's an abundance where God is taking me. He said, a land wherein thou should eat bread— look at this— without scarceness. So God said, I'm taking you to a land where there's no poverty. If you're poor, you'll be poor no more. Are y'all with me here? It's a land wherein thou shall eat bread without scarceness. Thou should not lack anything. That's a bold statement. Now God said, I'm taking you to a place where I'm going to remove you from lack. Now let me talk before I read the rest. Let me talk. Poverty and lack is not just a condition. You can have money and still be in poverty. I grew up around folk, they had, they had the best jobs in town. They, they work, they work for the biggest factories, biggest companies, but they never did break the poverty cycle. They still, they still lived in a one-room, you know, uh, no trailer. They, uh, they, they, they still never had no money. They was always borrowing. And, and the biggest— because, amen, see, the one of the first things that pulls on your money is your habits. So they would have kept— they were counting folk that when you got paid on Friday, they first stop was to get, get a cold one. Y'all know the cold one is down here in Georgia. Yeah, get you, get your 6-pack, 12-pack, case, and go sit on the front porch and get drunk. And when you drank that enough, you get upset in the morning, go get another one. And most of them by the time By the time they got to work on Monday, they had spent up everything they made on Friday because it wasn't just a condition, a spirit had it. I'm preaching better than y'all hollering back at me already. And we have to understand, when you talk about coming out of a condition— now, in, in the black community in particular, a lot of our poverty and lack goes back to slavery. Uh, every year when, when, when, when the master didn't let you off the field, he was cursing you. See, most of us think cursing is, is, you know, just foul language. No, that's cussing. You didn't get cursed out, you got cussed out. A curse is when somebody speaks something negatively over your life and they repeat it to the degree that it becomes a part of who you are. And it didn't have to be the master. You, you could have a parent, and depending on how they— how they— what they said to you, if they compared you to your daddy or told you you were not going to be much, then those kind of things. So when you start— when you start trying to— now then, then, uh, uh, now let me, let me show you how, how deep a curse is. That They'll set a minimum wage and know when they set the minimum wage, it's below the poverty level. So how are they helping you? That's a curse. The minimum wage says you'll never break the cycle. I'm gonna give you one y'all ain't heard of. When I, when I first started pastoring back in 1998, I would walk in my church sometimes and I would see pennies on the floor. So I forgot to ask around the church, who keep throwing all these, these pennies on the floor? And one of my old mothers said, they trying to put the do on you, Pastor. Oh, what kind of do? They said, that's voodoo. The pennies say You'll never break this curse of poverty over this church. Now, now you need to be able to see how poor we were. In the floor was a jar, pickle jar. Y'all remember the big old pickle jar that the guy would take the tongs and reach in there and put that a little, little white sack for you? And there's a pickle jar in the floor, and the pickle jar had taped on it building for him. Now how are we going to build? Now you talking about poverty thinking, how are we going to build a church out of the pickle jar? It was a spirit. Now, now watch, I'm going to say something, because when you start dealing with spirits, I had to insult the spirit to break the spirit. And the hardest part about getting folks delivered from something, you just about got to make them mad before they want to get rid of it. So one Sunday morning I was preaching and I— my attention kept going in that jar, kept going there. So I took my foot and said, y'all come get these pennies off the floor, we're not going to build no church out this jar. And the church got just like it is. But listen, God's gonna have to bless you so you can bless the house. You have to understand that God is committed to breaking the curse of lack over your house because His house can't get no better if your house don't get no better. You can't give no more money, amen, if he don't give you no more money. So I'm invested in getting you blessed, even if I have to insult you, because you can't bless the vision if God don't bless you first. I need you to touch your neighbor, tell them, I know I'm coming out. Because the church can't come out if God don't bring me out. Oh, I feel the Holy Ghost. If I holler one time, if I holler, just hit that D, that E-flat minor, and that'll put me right where I need to be. I need the minor now. I need the minor. E-flat minor. I need the minor. All right, all right. Yeah, yeah, that's it, that's it. I need, I need that. If I go there, I need the minor. Look what he says now. Now you got to read the text because God is so certain that he's gonna bless you until he first tells you what's in the land. He then tells you how much of it he's gonna give you. Then he tells you how to act when you get it. Let's read. I'm at, I'm at, I'm at verse, I'm at verse, uh, uh, let's see, I'm at verse 10. Watch this. So he done told us in the land, he won't say, said the land was full of stones of iron, amen, and out of those hills that thou may dig brass. So, so you got all kinds of metal in the land. Then he says, now when you have eaten and are full. When you look at somebody, say, I'm on my way to a full place. Said, God is about to fulfill everything that he promised me. Oh, y'all gonna make me preach in here tonight. Then watch this, when you've eaten up full, then thou should bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he has given thee. Now understand, you didn't get the land because, because you— but nobody sweated your brow. You didn't get it because you work overtime and double and all. God said, no, no, no, I gave you strength, I gave you ability to do that. God says you are blessed because, amen, you tap into what I wanted you to have And now I'm giving you what I promise you. Somebody say, I'm getting ready for what he promised me. Come on, say it again. I'm getting ready for what he promised me. Watch what he says now. Then thou should bless the Lord thy God for the good land which he has given you. Then he said, now beware, be careful. Don't make this mistake. Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God in keeping his commandments and his judgments and his statutes which I command thee this day. Now he said, now if you forget me and you forget to walk before me, here's what's gonna happen. Now this don't get no plainer. Listen, I'm right now, I'm really not teaching, I'm just reading the Bible. Watch this. Lest when thou hast eaten and art full and you built your house— see, first he, first he promised you a house, then he assures you you're gonna get the house. Because what he's talking about now is how you gonna act after he gives you what he promised you. I need everybody that's believing God for a new home, just wave your hand. And say, I am certain that my home is on the way. God wouldn't be telling me how to act if he wasn't gonna give me one. Brother, God wouldn't be telling you how to act after you get the new church if he wasn't gonna give you one. I feel a ghost in this house. Tell somebody, say, must be the Holy Ghost.
Oh, that's the Holy Ghost.
Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God and keep his commandments, his judgment, his statutes which I command this day. Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built thy goodly house, and ye live in it, and dwelt there in the place, and when your herds— listen to what he said— and your— now he's not saying if, he's saying when, because he's making it clear, I'm about to bless everything. The dog, the cat. And when the anointing get on you, Amen. And you breed your dog, you better, you better make room for 10, 12. There gonna be no 3, 3 dog litter. All right, sir. All right, multiply. I, I raised bears in Malawi, and you, they have between 6 and 10. Like, how she has so many? The Lord said, that's the blessing. See, when God doing a thing, it comes bigger than you imagine. Some of you got God little old— you want God to pay the bills, you want God to pay the car note. Babe, God going to pay the car off. Why would you ask somebody as big as your God just to pay the note? Why would you ask somebody as big as your God? Come on. You're gonna talk to a king asking for what you need? He done gone through the silver and gold, his mind, the top on a thousand hills, his mind. It's time to ask for what you need. You just tiptoeing around God. God, I need, I need enough gas to make it, to make it, to fill the tank up, God. Let the needle fall in the corner so hard it take it 3 days to come out. Somebody shout, I believe God! Watch what he said. And when thy herds and your flocks multiply, watch this. And thy silver and your gold is multiplied. That's money, that's money right there. Shake, shake your purse, shake your wallet and say, I command you to multiply because God said so. Watch the text, watch the text. Then in case he missed something He gets very generic and says, and all that thou hast has multiplied. He purposely leaves nothing out to make you understand, I'm not just blessing you, I'm blessing everything that's connected to you.
What?
He come back to the warning, said, now what you got to be careful for, because see, see, here's the thing about God. God will bless you so well until you think what he gave you is the blessing. Ah, y'all don't want no preaching here tonight. Look at the tone y'all looking at me. I don't like how y'all looking at me on that. God will bless you so until you think what he get— see, some of y'all think the car is the blessing, the house is the blessing, the job is the blessing, the check in the mail is the blessing. That ain't the blessing. The blessing is that you're in relationship with a covenant-keeping God. And he loves me so much that he promised that whatever situation I'm in, he's gonna bring me out of it. Oh, I need you to touch somebody.
I'm coming, I'm coming.
Tell them I'm in a tough test right now, but tell them I believe that I'm tougher than the test. Can I work? He says, he says, he says, he says, he says, then your heart get lifted up. Now that, that term lifted up right there, now here's what he's insinuating, that the blessing of the Lord, if you don't put it in the right perspective, instead of praising God, you get prideful. More people lose the blessing from pride than they do with pressure from the enemy. Most time it ain't the devil, it ain't— it's, it's— see, see, pride is one of those spirits when God talk about it, he says, I resist the pride. That means if you prideful, God push you away from him. Get on back. Then another scripture says, humble yourself before the hand of God and he will exalt you in your season. Now it has to be understood that the things God promised comes seasonally. Some of you want a harvest in your giving season and you hate— and you hate giving. Boy, y'all don't like how I'm talking right now. I'm gonna say it again. This— I'm just gonna rewind that tape just, just to that spot. Now I ain't going back, I'm gonna go right back there. Some of you want your harvest in your giving season. Me and Brother Jim was talking, we was looking at some things, you know, that we, that we studied, and we were talking about how that farmers go to the bank every fall and they borrow millions of dollars on credit, listen, just to buy seed. And they have to take a risk on the harvest, but we want God to give us harvest with no seed. To borrow millions in the fall on the expectation of a harvest, number one, it takes faith. You got to believe that what you working with will produce if I do it to the best of my ability. God been trying to get some of you, amen, to come out your little $5, $10, $50. If your tithe and offering look the same way every week, you are giving under a curse. You don't never add nothing to your $40. You don't never add nothing.
$40 and $5.
$40 tithe, $5 offering, and you stuck there. And God is stuck where you stuck because the former sacrifices— sometimes he done, he done spent all that money, put them seed in the ground, and it ain't raining. And he out there praying, saying, Lord, I got everything in the ground, I just need you to give me a little rain. Sometime he got that seed in the ground, amen, and it done rain too much. And he said, Lord, I need you. Amen. It's too much rain, it's gonna rot my seed, it's gonna, it's gonna rot my small crop. I need you to hold back the rain and give me a little sun. But he understands who's in control of the harvest. Y'all gonna make me preach in here. Look at your neighbor, say, you got to understand who's in charge of the harvest. God said, if I can get you, if I can get you, amen, just to lock into my system. I'm telling Black— I've been telling Black folk for the last 5 years, stop waiting on a white horse with a knight on it to come out of Washington, DC and rescue us. It is not going to happen. We have to divorce that system. And we got, we got to go back to our roots and believe that the Lord will make a way somehow. And until we believe God and stand on his word, and we going to keep repeating the cycle because we have been cursed by this nation, and there's only one man that can break the curse. Somebody said, he's taking me to a wealthy place. So sit down, let me talk to you. I ain't ready yet, I ain't ready yet. I hear you over there, I ain't ready yet, I ain't ready yet. So he said, he said, don't let your heart be lifted up and you forget the Lord. Now it's easy in this, this, this, this world we live to forget God. Now over in, uh, Matthew Matthew 6:24-25, there's a statement that everybody quotes. It says, you cannot serve God and mammon. Now I need you to understand, because mammon— when you study mammon, mammon was the spirit or the god or the demon that was over money. I need y'all to hear what I'm going to say now. Now there's one reason we have a battle breaking the curse. Because all the money on the earth that is not sacrificed to God has the spirit of mammon on it. The money you make on your job, if you don't bless it and give it to God, you don't tell the Lord lay his hand on it, mammon on it. Yeah, all that money, all that money that comes to you, it's systematic money. The money don't get blessed until you give it, you, you, you, you give it to God to bless it. Some— a guy asked me one time, said, said, Apostle, if, if a drug dealer came to your church and he wanted to put a million dollars in it, would you take take it? I said, yes sir. I said, yes sir. He said, Pastor, I don't understand. He said, what you preaching, T, why would you take drug money? At first I told him, I said, the devil done had it long enough. I said, number two, when it hit my hand, I'm gonna tell God to bless it. See, see, you, you got the— you got the ungodly mammon. That word mammon means money. Then you got the righteous mammon. That's money that's been sacrificed to God. Now, the reason tithing— let me help the church a little bit. Let me help Rod out a little bit. The reason tithing is so important Tithing is the first step in changing systems. Now I know a lot of teachers, but you know, tithing under law— tithing ain't under no law, ain't never been under no law. If you go to Hebrews and read, the Bible says when, when Abram tithed into Melchizedek, it says Jesus was in his loins. He never was given to, to, to Melchizedek. Jesus was in that, in that order. And tithing is God's lease payment on the earth. You remember when he put, when he put, when he put Adam and Eve in the garden and said, y'all have all these, part of all this stuff. He said, see that tree right there? That's mine. That's tithe. Don't eat it. Don't touch it. That's mine. The first step into God's system is the tenth. Now let me tell you, and I'm gonna move on, I'm gonna stay here long. The tenth is fair because God could have said every is $100, we both gave the same thing. See, it took a God to create a system that everybody could participate in, and it don't put nobody in— you didn't make but $10, God said bring me a dollar. You keep denying. That's foul. Now a lot of you asking God to bless you and you ain't nothing. Some of you got more weave in your hair than you've ever put in church. Y'all ain't got to holler, but I got it now. Y'all just sat there and look at me like I ain't preaching. I got it now. Yes, I don't know. Now some of you got more money on your toes, on your nails. Holler back at me, First Lady. Tell me to preach. Some of you have made sacrifices on yourself that you've never even considered making to God, and you keep— and God said, I'm trying I keep trying to tell you, I don't bless you. God said, I remember when you couldn't get your nails done. Look at me like I'm not preaching. God said, I remember, I remember when pedicures was out there. Now you might have did some with your hand, but going to get your feet done, nope, it's out the question. God said, I remember when buying half Come on, talk to me, somebody. Never crossed your mind, but I bless you. Some of you doing stuff now you told— you thought yourself you'd never do, but you're doing it because he blessed you. And when God blesses you, amen, things you couldn't afford to do all of a sudden don't look so bad when you can afford to do it. Talk to me here, somebody. And God said, I'm doing it because I'm trying to show you the kind of God I am, but I need you to be careful that after I bless you, that you don't get the idea that you did it for yourself. God said it was my hand, not your hand, that gave you the power to get this wealth. I'm trying to prophesy about wealth is on the way, but you got to understand where it coming from.
I'm going—
can I go a little deep? I'm, I'm almost out of here. I'm almost out of here. Watch this. He makes it clear that wealth and success— listen at this— is not a personal accomplishment, but the Lord gives the power to get wealth. It is not our hands but God. He is absolutely so sure that he will bless us that he tells us ahead of time how to respond to the blessing. He admonishes us that when success and prosperity comes, not to forget that it was not— that it was the Lord that did it, not our careers, not our jobs, not our talents, not our abilities, not our smarts. Somebody said it was the Lord. When we give ourselves the credit, it is easy to miss God. Watch this— miss church. Are y'all in here? We are then giving our careers and our jobs the credit for our success and not God. Proverbs 10:22 says, the blessing of the Lord— watch this—
it—
that's the key word— the blessing of the Lord, it makes rich. Now somebody said, well, what about all these folk in the world? Because see, another system— see, a lot of y'all, a lot of y'all, you know, you look at Trump, say, how can he act like that? That money Got him acting like that because money without God is corruption. Somebody who talked to somebody any kind of way and say any kind of thing and just— and no remorse. Even if I'm mad with you, you know, you know, I, I got the vocabulary that I can tell you off, and it takes you 4 or 5 minutes after I told you off to figure Brett told me off. Let me see, he said— he did, he tried to get smart with me. Now that's somebody who's got vocabulary. Well, you ain't got no vocabulary and all you got is, is what makes you some power, some authority. then you can talk to folk any kind of way, you can say any kind of man, you can put the president and his wife in a baboon suit, amen, and it don't make no difference because money has no redeeming value. Money ain't saved. And if you don't recognize who gave it to you— watch this— money will make you you twice what you already are. Oh, y'all going to act like y'all don't know what I'm talking about here. You ladies, you ladies who, who, who, who, who, who like to shop and you like nice clothes, what you do when you get some extra money? You going to shop some more and you going to go to bigger stores. Hello, somebody. Don't look at me like that. You know I'm telling the That's true. Don't look at me in that tone. Yeah, money has no redeeming value. If I like the women of the night and I get some money, I'm gonna go from corner girls to the uptown girls. Instead of meet them on the corner, I'm gonna meet them at the hotel. Talk to me, somebody. Cuz money ain't going to sell you. Money going to make you bigger. That's why God's telling— cuz money going to make you bigger what you love. See, a lot of you waiting on a blessing, and if God bless you right now, it'll take you out of church. You already said it, child. If I had that kind of money, couldn't nobody tell me nothing. God know it. That really won't give you nothing because that pride will light you up. It couldn't nobody tell you nothing. But then God got a group, amen. When he, when he put that first $100,000 on them, they gonna be in a hurry to get to the church with $10,000. Pastor, I'm gonna get in church, $10,000. Watch this, watch this. And you've been preaching to me for the last, amen, 4, 5 years, I'm gonna break you. I'm gonna break you off a little piece because there's a group who understands this is you to be a blessing. And if you never set up the basic stuff, amen, I'm gonna honor God with my money. What comes through my hand, I'm gonna bless God with I will not, amen, allow what I spend on myself, amen, to outdo what I do for God. Come on, somebody, amen. God, you only asked me for 10% and you told me you bless the 90 when I keep it. So I'm gonna proudly give you the 10 because you said if I give you the 10, you gonna bless the 90 that's left over. I need your blessing on my 90% so we can do it all over again. Multiplication means you keep repeating the process and you keep getting the same result. That's multiplying. You do it and God bless it. You do it again and he bless it again. And every time he bless it, it's a little bigger than the last blessing, because in God every round goes a little higher. Let me try to get out. I'm almost there. I'm almost there. Can I, can I have about 10 more minutes? I'm, I'm, I'm gonna get it. Now, Pastor's theme for this week was Saint John 10:10. I need to go there just a minute, and then I'm gonna come down through, through Jabez, and we're going home. All right, all right. Now, Saint John, Saint John 10:7. Watch this. Jesus says, truly I tell you, I am the gate of the sheep. All who have come before me are thieves and robbers. The sheep have not listened to them because I am the gate. Whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and they'll find pasture. The thief— now, so now you have to recognize who the thief is. I'm finna help you. The thief is not the devil. He just told you. I'm gonna just make you see it. All that have come before me. So the thief in your life is the people who are in your ear. It can be preachers, it can be best friends, it can be, it can be your road dog, your ace boom coon, your ride, your ride or die. This thief is the person in your life who encourages you to disrespect the ways of God. These are folk who did not come through the door. Every preacher wasn't called. Does not make you a pastor. Hello, somebody. An alcoholic with a church is a drunk preacher. Don't make him no pastor. Y'all ain't hollering at me. Yeah, you got a lot of folk got— because you got a name on the door and folk come here, don't make you no pastor. Pastoring is a calling, and one of the, one of the, one of the One of the main, uh, um, one of the main, uh, tendencies— that ain't the word I want— one of the main, uh, characteristics— that's good, that's better, that's better, amen— of a pastor is— but I'm trying to deal with the compassion. One of the main compassions of a pastor is they care for the sheep. sugar dad. He ain't here to play with you. He's the man of God. His job is to guide you in the way of God, and to do that, sometimes he got to break your leg. You leaving the church because you didn't like what he said. And then let me tell you something, all this got You ain't got no preacher and God ain't got nothing to come by. And here and by— watch this, watch this, watch this. When God gives you a man of God— see, this is important— see, God don't pastor. Boy, look how y'all looking at me on that. Y'all need scripture for it, right? All right, all right, watch this. And then I'm gonna go get J-Bad. We going home.
Watch it.
Jeremiah prophesies. God says, I will give you pastors after my own heart. So I'm gonna give you a pastor, and I'm gonna put my spirit, my heart in that pastor. Watch this. And they will feed you. Now, the reason a lot of you not prospering, because you come to church every Sunday mad with your leader. Do I need to camp out down here in Atlanta, Georgia? Get— do I need— do I need to just sit down and teach? Hey baby, see, if you come to church every week, you got attitude with me. You hear me, but you ain't listening. Just cause you hear me don't mean you listening. See, so I can be preaching the blessing and telling you what God want to do, and you mad with me, and you come to church week after week and don't get nothing. It done got chinna down through another jaw. Y'all feel that breeze? Now this is what I do. Now I'm apostolic for real. This is what I do. Y'all ain't, y'all ain't bothering me at all. You come here every week and you mad with the pastor and he preaching and teaching on it, and then you hear something, hmm, hmm. Then what y'all do sometimes, okay, let's, let's say, let's say, and this happens sometimes, it's church, some, let's have somebody get pregnant. It happens sometime in church. Can I get an amen? So somebody get pregnant, or somebody, some, somebody, you know, we find out somebody, you know, got arrested for robbery. Okay, then what y'all would do is, because you more family than you are Christ, I can't preach about, I can't say nothing about no more. I got the wife, I can't say nothing about nobody getting pregnant. I can't say nothing about nobody stealing, even though, even though the theme is killing the thief. Hey, you think I prepared a sermon all weekend to come to church and talk about you? I wish y'all would get up off me down here in Rudder. I can't hardly preach nothing now. Talk about preaching, you talking about my family, you talking about my cousin, you talking about— well, your family sin too. But I ain't just talking about your family. I got you Quita and Maymay that I got to keep from getting pregnant too. It ain't just the devil at your family, I got little babies all over this church that the devil's trying to mess up, and I got to preach. So you got the freedom, man of God, to talk about what needs to be talked about, even if it's got to do with some of your folk. Some, some of them, some of them work for— I have a pastor with my family. I'm up telling folk, here's what we're gonna do, and everybody listen to me but my family. And I'm like, did y'all hear what I was saying? My daddy said, boy, boy, boy, I'm your daddy. I said, you daddy when I come by this evening to eat. Over here at the church, I'm the daddy. And when I said what I said, I was talking to you too. Y'all don't like how I'm talking right now. Then Jesus said that your greatest enemy, your greatest foes, would be those of your own household. Your family, you ain't talking to them. So what, what, what, what God does— we're praying for money, we got the promises of God, but what God has to do on the way to the money is develop you. You got to have some character, man. Money, money with no character, money mess you up. Money dangerous. Without God. So he developing you. He let you go through the man— God let you go through a period when you barely making it, and you wonder, Lord, why am I going? He teaching. He trying to see if you still steal. The only way— see, see, it ain't enough for God to know your heart. You need to know you. So when Ray called just for Christmas— come on, some of y'all know Ray. Y'all know Ray. You don't hear from him all year long, but he know you got them kids, and it's like clockwork every November. He called, he called in his down-low voice.
How you doing, girl?
I ain't seen you. Y'all hear that tone? I ain't seen you in a long time. I was driving today and you just came across my mind. So what you, what you doing now? He trying to, he trying to see, well, yeah, what, what you doing now? Who you, who you dating? It's like Clockwork every November, and you don't realize every November God tests you to see if you done growed up. Some of you fall for the same Same demon every November. He timed it just after Thanksgiving. Look how y'all looking at me. He's developing you. He's trying to see if you honor him. He's trying to see, amen, can you handle what he's about to give you. He's trying to see if you can be faithful over a few things so he can make you ruler over much. I got to get out of here. Oh Lord, hit me one time. I got to get out of here. I got to get out of here. But in 1 Chronicles 4:9— can I take my time?
Just walk, walk around.
There was a man by the name of Jabez, and my Bible tells me than his brothers was. When I read that he was more honorable, what God is trying to tell me is that he honored God. Why don't you say yeah?
And the Bible say his mother called him Demas because he was birthed out of pain.
Somebody in here tonight, why don't you worship God while Why have I gone through so much? Why have I gone through all the pain? Because God is birthing you through the pain.
Look at your neighbor and say, "Hey, I know that it's the birth of me because I've been through pain." Why don't you sing it again? Sing it again. Sing it again. And I got to get up and talk to you people. But listen what he says.
He says Jabez called on the God of Israel, and he said, Lord, here's what I need you to do. I need you to bless me indeed. Look at one more person and say, I need a real blessing.
That's what the word indeed means. Indeed blessing for me. I don't want no fake blessing.
Anybody receive it tonight? I'm still gonna get it.
The devil don't want no car. Devil don't want no house. Those attacks are to get you to stop from believing God. In every attack, but I'm praying, I'm praying right now. I need you.
Some of you, you're facing some financial challenge. You're facing some debt. There's some things you— some of you believe in God. You're trying to birth a business, trying to birth something new.
You're trying to do something now. You've kind of got the bear scars. You're just trying to get up and just really birth you out of the season of going to that 8 to 5. I need you to get in mind what you need God to do.
And I'm getting ready to pray. Apostle prophesied just before I got up, and he talked about if you can receive the word, God was going to break you loose from the things that are holding you. Just give me something soft. Stay with me there. Just something a little soft. You— he's bringing you out.
Tonight, and may there be a performance and a demonstration of his grace, even beginning right now. I thank you, Lord. Loose us from the spirit of oppression. Make us free. In Jesus' name.
Praise the Lord. Somebody help me give God praise.
This is a new beginning moment for many of you. God's doing something. He's shifting you. All this year, God talked to different of you, especially you, Father.
I've updated my vision.
I've got new plans and ideas. Back to my church, trying to figure out what's wrong with me. He's moving me, he's, he's enlarging my territory. He's doing what Jabes asked. He's expanding me.
Some of you been fighting, you've been fasting, you've been under pressure, and all it is, God is developing you.
God The devil's not about to bless because he don't want to work hard to get out the devil's hand into your hand, then you turn around and get back into the devil's hand. Sometimes you cry, nobody know you cry. Sometimes you You're struggling.
Everybody know you're struggling, and you've learned how to walk above it.
You know how to look right when it ain't all right. But I'm telling you, God develops you through the struggle. And if you believe tonight that that's what a new beginning work in your life I want to ask you to join me.
I always give what I ask for because I want you to know I believe.
I'm giving. I didn't just come to receive, I came to give. I'm giving you what God gave you from home. And now I'm challenging you to make a sacrificial seed into what God has spoken over your life. You ain't got to do it, but I believe there's a blessing if you do it. And if you don't do it, you'll get whatever else God got for you, but you won't get the blessing that's attached to what I'm doing right now. I want this word to change your life.
If you'll join the $88 seed, come on, stand to your feet with me. Let's do that.
Let's do that. $88 seed. $88 seed. $88 seed. $88 seed. If you're going to help me with that, come on, just bring it. I'm not going to be but a moment. I'm going to beg you. $88. This is your moment, this is your turn, this is your time.
Don't get up standing.
I'm, I'm assuming you, you sold $88 online.
If you are, just wave at me.
Come test the blessing. I saw you wave at me. Thank you, Lord.
I heard that tell He's bringing you out.
He's bringing you out. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
$88.
$88.
Anybody else?
Anybody?
Come on, I'm waiting on you.
I ain't in no hurry.
Pastor, Pastor got me a hotel. I ain't got nowhere to go.
Back to the room.
I'm waiting on you. Take your time.
You better look y'all way. I shout you. She getting it.
There's Aiden. What she need?
She got Aiden? Yeah.
Well, just come on, come on, just come, just get up and bring it. Devil tempt you, sit down.
Come on, come on.
You got it right, Lily. One more, come on.
Come on, come on, we going to make it happen.
I'm talking about monthly engagement. Then show up and don't preach about what your theme is. Why would Apostle put on an abundance conference and I come here with something else? When he tried to birth—
he tried to birth abundance in us.
You get all that stuff up, nobody's concerned about division no more. They just Anybody else want to give anything tonight before I close? I thank for those who believe what was spoken.
Jesus declared, the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they bring life. May these few nuggets our Lord allowed to share with you, may they catch root, sprout up, and multiply.
May it cause everything about this house to change.
May it cause the vision to be clear.
May those that come to church, the heart has not been right with the leader—
I just heard this—
but some of you need to You ain't got to do it tonight.
You get that out your heart. You're going to be sowing seed into the ground. I'm going to tell you what you sow.
God will tell you how much some of you, you've been bitter so long. I'm telling you, you ought to get a love seed out of you, a love heart out of you.
To sow a seed in your bitterness into your— when you sow into that bitterness, God's going to turn you around. Cuz forgiveness is not an action, it's a decision.
Real forgiveness. The Bible said, while we were yet sinners, God— so it wasn't a decision, it wasn't emotional. Some of you have sinned so long, you can't always forgive it. You got to show it to the man of God.
God's going to turn your heart.
Healing's going to take place, and you're going to be able to receive like you need to receive.
And I'm that man of God, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Thank y'all.
I said, you sure you want me to build this? 56. He said, what I say?
He said, I definitely want you to do it because this is your legacy piece.
And he said, I've already positioned the people in a way that I don't want you to go. But God, like the man of God said tonight, is going to prosper every one of you. So when you need God, he's going to prosper you. Somebody— that's a good place to get I was looking at you tonight.
Lift your hand, cuz I don't want you to look—
when I looked over to you while Apostle was preaching, I saw these tires on your body, like car tires.
And it was like they were spinning in mud. Ever seen a car get stuck in mud?
The worst thing you can do is try to push the car and get out of the mud. God said to tell you that working hard to try to change the trajectory of your life, to try to get out of the place you're in and it's just like you've been spinning your wheels. Nothing is moving.
God told me to tell you, these next 30 days everything is about to turn all the way over. And the tears you cried in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024— you've had 5 years of God said today, angel snatching you out of that mud. There's an angel that has you lifted you up out of the mud right now. God said it starts today. For the next 30 days, you will have abundance, you will have harvest, you will have breakthrough. God said the thing you The tears you've sown in sorrow and the weeping, he said, you are about to reap in joy.
He's about to make you smile again.
He said, Michael, tell her I'm about to make her laugh.
I need somebody to point your hand to her and say, God is about to make you laugh. We praise you, we give you honor. Oh, we, we worship you, our Lord. You are worthy to be praised. Oh, we give you honor. Lord, you are worthy to be praised. We worship you, our Lord. You are worthy to be praised.
That's your finished product around us. This is actually phase 2.
We did phase 1 2 years ago.
The Lord told me I have to sign another lease because renting is no heaven.
I got to sign a lease with somebody. So I immediately started praying about a community So 33 years around the corner, what you saw before you left, I want to acknowledge. Candace is here today.
She has worked with me to start the assemblies of our very own, the last building that we went and looked at. I'll give God praise for that.
Such a good God. Contract is being drawn up, so our next stop is already in place. Hallelujah! Glory to God! 36 years preaching in all these churches, preaching the Bible. And I thought, I thought in the latter years, I promise you, I would have been all right just coming here every Sunday talking to y'all and joyfully-yamming. I would have been okay. I said, listen, In Jesus' name. Over me, over you as well. I love all of you. Thank you. Father, we give you praise. Thank you for Apostle Richards. I'm asking you, God, to give him back a thousand times more than he's given to us.
Thank you for his wisdom. Anointing on his life.
Thank you for the resources.
They are graced with this joyfully-yam. And I pray, God, your blessings upon this real estate project that you've placed in his hands, the heart you've given him for housing. And Father, I'm asking you to send investors from the north, the south, the east, and the west to invest in his product. Yes, when I hear that, I'll also invest. I don't even live in Mississippi, but I'll invest because it's him. And I decree and declare, God, that where he puts foot, it will prosper. I declare that Love City will continue to expand and grow and increase, and you'll bless his children's children. God, we thank you that we'll never be be the same because he lives. Bless us as we go. Go before us.
We want this school successful and prosperous, and we praise you for it. In Jesus' name, amen.
Hug somebody, tell them I love you tonight. God bless you.
See you on the 22nd.
