Basking in your glory, feasting at your table, surrounded by your glory, in your presence. That's where I always want to be. Yes, God.
Yes, Lord.
Yes, I just want to be with you. I just want to be with you. Is there anybody sentimental today? Do you just want to be where he is? I don't ever want to be where God was. I want to be where he is. And God, that's my prayer. That's my supplication to you this morning. I want to be where you are. I want to be where you are. Yes, God. Dwelling in your presence, God. Oh, shatabaya maya. And feasting at your table. Yes, God. Surrounded by your glory. In your presence. That's where I always want to be. Yes, God. And I just want to be with you. Draw me near to where you are, God. I never want to leave your glory. There's victory in your glory. I never want to leave your side. That's why I sing, keep me in your glory. Never want to leave your glory. Never want to leave your glory. There's victory in your glory. Victory in your glory. Never want to leave your side. Say it. Keep me in your glory. Keep me in your glory. Never want to leave your glory. There's victory in your glory. Never want to leave your side. Yeah, it's our prayer. We want to be where he is. Come on, just worship him. We just want to be where he is. Asking in his holy presence, feasting at his table, surrounded by his glory. In your presence, Lord, is where I want to be. Yeah, I just want to be with you. We worship you, God. We adore you. We worship you. We adore you. Come on, the corporate man, give him the fruit of your lips. Come on, give him the fruit of your lips. He's here. If we just lift him He'll gravitate to us and superimpose himself upon us. We give you glory, we give you glory. We've crossed through the door, we've stepped into a portal. Come on, just worship his great name. We glorify him, we magnify him, we lift him up, we bless his name, we glorify him. We give him the praise. What a mighty God we serve. What a glorious God we serve. He's so awesome. He's so wonderful. He's a man— Come on, give him the fruit of your lips, saints. I know we're short today. Pastor Jeffrey is out, but just give him the fruit of your lips. Come on, the Bible Lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of Glory will come in. They were just singing about the King of Glory. How do we get him here? We gotta lift up our heads and lift up our gates. What's your gates? Your gate is your mouth gate. Open up your mouth gate. Lift up your mouth gate. Open up your eye gate and look toward heaven. Open up your ear gate and listen for the voice of God. He says, and the King of Glory will come. Not he might come, but he will come. So Father, as we lift up our gates, as we lift up our voice, as we open up our mouths and give you glory and makrograph and supplement your name, God, come in. Who is the King of Glory? The Lord God, strong and mighty. He is the King of Glory. Oh God, we worship you. Hallelujah, hallelujah! We lift up our gates, God. We lift up our gates. There's no reason for our heads to be hung down. There's no reason for us to be despondent and be depressed. But God, we rejoice. We rejoice in who you are. We lift up our heads. Hallelujah. Hallelujah, hallelujah! And the King of Glory shall come in. Who is the King of Glory? The Lord God strong and mighty, the Lord God mighty in battle. We love you, Jesus. We thank you for your strength, God. We thank you for your provision. We thank you for ways made. We thank you, God, for doors opened. Oh, I wish you ought to— oh my God, you are— I wish you'd thank him for what he's done. Hallelujah. Just open up your mouth and lift up that mouth gate and begin to thank him for his goodness. He's been good to us. He's been good to us. He's provided for us. He's really made ways for us when there was no way. I'm telling you, God is a good God. Yebasha tatapapa. The old Mother was singing a song, "God is the good God." Yes, he is. I declare today, God is good. Yes, He is. Come on, give him glory. We bless you, God. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. Wonderful Savior, mighty God, you're so good, God. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Hallelujah! The devil should have killed you when he had a chance, but he messed up and let you start trusting God. He messed up and gave you an attitude of worship and gave you an attitude of praise, and now God has brought you through. He's brought you out. You ought to bless him, God, for what he has done. Hallelujah! We give you the glory, God. We thank you, God. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! We bless you, God. We honor you and we lift your name on high. We lift your name on high, God. You're worthy of praise. Hallelujah. We give you the glory. And I, the Lord, say to you, my little ones, today that I have brought you to a place of closeness. I brought you to a place where I cannot be denied in your life. And now I ask of you to simply trust me for every dimension, for the dimensions ahead are greater than you've ever imagined. For where I'm taking you in this next place, said the Lord, is beyond what you have experienced or ever encountered. As a matter of fact, I, the Lord, say to you, you've never even thought of this dimension. And God said, this place will be a place of absolute peace. It will be a place of total joy. It will be a place of total— oh my God— provision. It will be a place where you will never lack again. For I declare unto you today, I am your provider. For I have tapped you into the dimension where I am eradicating lack in your life. And you shall live in the realm of fulfilled desires. For as you have delighted yourself in me, and as you continue to delight yourself in me, I, your king, will give you the desires of your heart. For these dimensions that lie ahead will be dimensions where you commune with me. You commune with me in a very close place. My voice will not be questioned. You will know my voice. You will understand with clarity when I speak. And I say unto you, esti— steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as you know your labor is not in vain. For many times you seem tired and fatigued and weary, and maybe it seems as if I'm delayed in fulfilling my promise to you. But I say unto you, stand fast, for I come quickly. I come to turn it around. I come to make things better. I come to do a new thing. And your eyes shall behold it, and your hand shall handle it. You shall know that your prayers have been heard, for I come with a response. Because this day I brought you closer, closer than you ever been. I give you access that you didn't have before. Use it in the days to come. You have access to me. You have access to all I have. You have access to my power. You have access to my love. You have access to my healing. You have access to my deliverance. You have access to my provision. The question I propose to you today, my little ones: do I have access to you? He says, you have access to me. But do I have access to you? Have you yielded totally to my plans? Have you given up all for me? Have you presented your body a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto me, which is your reasonable service? Has you— have you renewed your mind in my word? Do I have access to you? Do I have access to you? Do you trust my plan? Do you trust what I say? Said the Lord. I'm with you, and this day I have brought you close, closer than you ever been. Give God praise for his word. Hallelujah! Come on, praise him for close proximity. We bless him. Oh, glory to God. We bless his great name. We bless his mighty name. What a good God he is. Hey, my God, today we bless you. What a good God he is. Hallelujah. I want to welcome you to church today. Glory to God. Thank God. Give God praise. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. He's so good. I mean, he's an awesome God. Hallelujah. Glory to God. I'm going to teach his word. I feel it in my spirit. Glory to God. And I'm gonna I'm trying to give it to you like the Lord gave it to me. Just touch yourself, say, "I'm close to him." Say, "Me and Jesus, we're tight." Say, "We're close." Say, "In Jesus' name." Hallelujah. Give God praise if you believe it. Hallelujah. We bless him. He's a good God. He's a mighty God. I want to welcome those watching us online. Listen, if you're in the sanctuary, you have a phone nearby, go online, just share it from Rhoda Church's page or from my page. This word is going to bless somebody. If you're watching, please share. Glory to God. I believe somebody's going to be blessed by this on today. Glory to God. Um, Luke chapter 5, and I'm gonna read 7 verses here, and we're gonna be out. Glory to God. I started something on Thursday night. Matter of fact, let's go to Acts 1:3 first. I'm gonna read that because that's where I started Thursday. Because this is just a continuation of that teaching. Glory to God. And I started talking about after his passion. Say that with me. Say, after his passion. Because again, we have Easter, we have eggs, and I'll do all that stuff, and then folk forget that he resurrected. We actually ought to be living a resurrected life. Say that with me. Say, I was called, I was created to live a resurrected life. So your life literally becomes proof that he actually is alive. Matter of fact, say that. Say, I'm proof that he's alive. So we start talking about that a little on Thursday night, and, uh, we came from this verse and we talked— we just kind of dealt with the the fact that he showed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them 40 days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. And we talked about how 40 is a number of prophetic fulfillment of promise. That's Acts 1:3. So we are the fulfillment of God's promise on earth. So when we live, people see us, they see the fulfillment of the promise of God, or they should. We should be proof that God is alive. So Jesus came back to give us an example, a model, and to teach kingdom so that we understand we are to be advancing the kingdom of God in our everyday life, which means we should be living as kingdom citizens with a authority every single day. Are y'all hearing this? Which means when we show up in the world, people should see a child of the King who has no doubt in their mind that Jesus is their King. And because we show up like that, we ain't freaking out over what Trump do. We don't freak out over what no government official does. We don't freak out over resources and money. Because at the end of the day, we know our King has everything we need. We know our King is going to take care of us. Say that once. Our King takes care of us. I'm telling you, that's a living truth. I'm a living witness. He'll take care of you. He'll look out for you. He'll cover you. Glory to the name of God. When everything is seemingly against you, God will make up the difference. Are y'all here? So he says he showed himself with many infallible proofs. So we are the proof. Say, I'm— say it again. Say, I'm the proof. So let's go back to Luke 5 and verse 1. So here today we're going to look at this, and we're going to look at how restoration is proof. When God starts restoring things and doing the impossible in your life When he restored— restoration of the impossible, or that, that they said was impossible, when God makes it possible, that's proof. If you think about it today, you ain't got to raise your hand, but if you thought about it, what are some things in your life that God has done that man said was impossible? Hallelujah! I got a few testimonies I could rattle off right now. I, and I could, I could stay here all day if I really start talking about my life over the last 40 years. Truth be told, the main thing is, if it wasn't for God, I shouldn't be here alive standing. But I'm alive with breath running through my body because God did an impossible thing in my life. Are y'all hearing this? He's a God that makes the impossible possible. Say that with me. Say, God's about to do what I thought and others thought could not be done. So take the limits off your mind. I need you to hear that prophetically. God wants to do what you thought could never be done. Glory to Jesus. I'm talking about the stuff they told you you'd never get, the places they said you'll never go, the things in your body they said could never get healed. I don't know who this is for online, that diagnosis that came, or in this room, that diagnosis that came that they said was irreversible. God says, I'm about to do what you thought could never be done. Cause he's alive for real. He ain't just alive on Easter like all the folks that showed up here on Easter. They— that ain't the only Sunday he alive. He alive every day. Are y'all hearing me? So watch this in Luke 5. Say that with me. Say, I'm proof that he's alive. The Bible says here, and it came to pass that as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret. Now I want to just break this down a little first. So first thing he says in this verse, and it came to pass. When you read, and it came to pass, in the Bible, that means it's history. That means this actually happened. This is not a made-up story. This is a historical event we're about to hear, and it came to pass. Can I, can I graduate from that just a little and apply that to you in your own life? Wherever you are, whatever you're facing, I want to submit to you today It didn't come to stay, it came to pass. Glory to God. It didn't come to stay in your life, it came to become history because you serve the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, and he's working when you don't see him. Matter of fact, glory to the name of God, about probably about 25 years ago now, God showed me something in the spirit. It was a clear vision. I saw one of those big orange diamond-shaped signs. And you know, if you drive on the road and you see them on the side of the road, they say, "Men are working." A lot of times you drive by this sign, you don't see no men. I'm like, "Oh, this road is totally messed up. I see a sign, but I see nobody fixing nothing." And that's reality. But if you keep going the road, even though you didn't see them, that road ends up fixed. No matter— like, they've been fixing the River Road around here for a long time, and some places they've been fixing it for years, still ain't fixed. But some of the spots are. But if you keep going, because they're working even when you don't see them. So God showed me the sign in the spirit. It was a huge one. No sign. It said, God is working. And a lot of times you don't see him working, but he's working stuff out that you can't even behold with your physical eyes. Are y'all here? Glory to God. I'm telling you, there's times I have been about to panic and God was working, and then all of a sudden, bam, the blessing came. Can you help me understand something here? God wants you to know nothing is never as big as it first appears. You see something, just go to freaking out, give the report freaking out. It ain't that big. It definitely ain't bigger than God. And he wants to work behind the scenes on your behalf so that you can say, and it came to pass, so you can have some history with him. That's what this is about— God wanting to make history with you so you could be proof of what he's able to do. Gloria! So every testimony you got is a testimony of proof of God's ability. So I challenge you, testify. Even though we don't have testimonies, church service in church all the time, you know, I grew up in the church. Every Sunday we had testimony service. Have to be careful now about testimony service because you don't know what people gonna say. I mean, some stuff ain't a testimony. I mean, it's something— oh Jesus, I paid my rent this month and I went to work every day. No, you, you just went to work and hopefully you get to pay it every month. That really ain't no 'Cause you ain't really tested with that. You just do a testimony, is monologue about the test. So I'm talking about something God did miraculously or something that God intervened. He can very well interfere with you paying your rent, but if you're working every day, you ain't got to testify that every week. If you've been in your apartment 2 years, we need testimony. You done moved and got a house. Oh, y'all hearing this? Not, not every— so, so y'all understand that we, we need to testify because we overcome the enemy according to Revelation by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. So I gotta say it. So you helping somebody when you testify. You can't be ashamed of what God has done. Hallelujah! Because you're proof that he's made history with you. There's something that you ain't just talking about God, something actually happened. You ain't just religiously going to the church every Sunday, something happened. That's why I go to church, because something happened for real. I'm gonna just tell you right now, religion could not hold me in church. I don't know how people do it, how they allow religious obligation to hold them in church, because religious people are still looking for God. They found him, they're trying to figure it out, so they go through motions to try to get to him. But when you know him— glory to the name of God— religion never empowers, but you're empowered through relationship when you know it. Can't no religion— man, let me tell you something. Religion— if, if I had to be based on religion, I'm gonna be out there doing everything I want to do because ain't no power in religion, ain't no relationship in religion. That's why the world, when they look at a religious— the religious church, they don't want to go because there's a man— they powerless, they're just like us. Where's God in all of this? Are y'all here? So it came to pass— this actually happened— that as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God— notice the priority here— the people there, and he was doing miracles, but the people pressed to hear the word. They pressed to hear this word to hear the word of God. The word, the Greek word is logos, which means they pressed to hear the logic of God. They pressed to hear what was on God's mind. So when you go to church, you should better take it for granted that the preacher has spent some time with God and he's talking to you about what's on God's mind. I don't want to be nowhere where the preacher just wants to entertain me. Are y'all hearing this? I don't want to be anywhere where the preacher don't pray through to a word that's going to minister to me and cause me to grow. So we ought to be pressing not for the other stuff people press for, because see, the church has become iconolistic. So people press for icons. If the preacher is popular If the building is big as this whole block, then the people press to that. And I'm not just saying that because we got a small church. We just got a small church. We're gonna always have a small church. I'm not saying it because I'm hating on them. I'm saying that even when we get a big church, you need to be coming for the word, not for nothing else, not for how good the worship is. Oh, okay, the worship is good, should be good. But that ain't why you ought to be pressing, because guess what? You can worship by yourself. Matter of fact, you ought to be worshiping by yourself. You ought to have some time with God, you and him, where you worshiping by yourself. You know, it makes worship a whole lot easier when you do that. It's easy to jump into corporate worship when you got private worship. You ain't got no private worship, corporate worship is real hard. Is boring to you. Are y'all here? Glory. So we need to say it with us. I need to press to hear the word of God, what's on God's mind. Logic, logos. So how can I get what's on God's mind? I got to spend some time in prayer, and I got to pray about what God wants me to say. And I'm at a point in my life and ministry, and I've been here a while and I'm still here, but I'm listening. I don't want to talk unless God's talking through me. I don't have nothing that interesting to say that I want to speak to you and I'm not speaking the Word of God. Or I get up and just give you a speech that I wrote down that ain't connected to this book. Are y'all here? You know, there are preachers that actually— yeah, watch some preachers preaching with iPads. They'll have a whole book open that ain't the Bible, whole book that another author wrote, and preaching to you out of chapter or book. It's dangerous piece because that says that person really is warming over something and they're giving it to you because it influential or is popular, or people will borrow other people's message. No, you need to press to get the word. That's the point I'm making here. This is because we're going somewhere. This is how you become proof. You got to walk out the word. So that's why you need the word. Faith come by hearing, hearing by the word of God. Just shall live by faith. I cannot walk by faith and not by sight if I ain't got the word. Say, I need the word. Oh boy, my late spiritual father, sometimes he would get up and he would, he would teach for 4 hours and nobody would leave. Nobody would complain because so much revelation from the word and stuff we had never heard before was flowing out. And God rest his soul, His name was Miles, and what we used to say, we called him Miles because he preached for miles and miles and miles. And I'm talking about Miles Monroe. He— and some of you know who he is. The reality is, when you want the word and you want something that's gonna be good for the soul, you're willing to wait through the process to get Now I'll give you an example. If you eating breakfast— my wife loves to cook breakfast— if I'm really hungry and I just grab a bowl of cereal, that cereal ain't gonna stay with me. But if I wait, if I'm patient enough to wait on them grits— y'all, y'all hear this— and eggs and bacon, That's gonna stick to my ribs. It's gonna stay with me a while. Are y'all hearing this? You got to be willing to be open to get what you need so you can be proof. All right, he says, so they pressed to hear the word of God. He stood by the lake of Gennesaret. This is, this is important. So Gennesaret, watch this, the Greek word for Genesaret, or Genesaret in Greek means a harp or strings. Watch this, that are played in worship. So Genesaret means a harp or strings played in worship. This is saying to us that worship, watch this, becomes the heart of God. He wants to be worshiped, and the word should emerge out of worship. So we, you know, there's some churches, they'll worship, worship, worship, and nobody ever preach. And so, oh, the glory fell, we couldn't even preach. But honestly, the word of God should emerge out of worship. You need to get some kind of word, even if there's a prophecy that comes forth with the mind of God out of worship. Some word needs to come forth out of worship. Watch this, even in your personal time with God, the word emerges out of your worship with him. You want to hear him speak? Go into worship— watch this— before you start praying and tap in, and then start talking to him. Because you know what? He lives in worship. So we worship, he comes on the preaching too. That's why a lot of preachers preach in flesh, man, because at the end of the day there's no worship happening in the environment. So they preach in the flesh to try to get the people up. And a lot of times you see the celebration of the word after the word, and I'm not knocking that because that's good to rejoice over the word, okay? But when that's staged, when you know, I'm— well, I'm gonna say this right here, they're gonna get up, they're gonna shout, they're all gonna get the going. And when you stage that— are y'all hearing me? Listen, I love to preach. I've been preaching all of my life. Okay, yeah, they hit that right key and it— and, and, and, and there everybody goes bucking like wild horses. It's not nothing wrong with it, but when I get to the— if I start preaching, if y'all ever hear me preaching, a lot of times on the road I do preach because you got to preach the gospel. Doctrine is taught, gospel is preached. But if you hear me preaching, I done already talked, and my preaching is my way of praising God. Now whether you want to join in or not, that's up to you, but that's me giving back to God my joy of him calling me and using me. So if God prompts that, I do it. But staging it to get people up Never, because worship should emerge out of the word. Are y'all hearing this? But people don't feel like they had church unless they did that, unless everybody is running all over each other stampeding. Lord have mercy. I mean, it's more TikTok. I guess the world now thinks all the church do is shout because every other TikTok video at church, they dancing. Got videos of preachers in the pulpit just dancing. Ain't nothing wrong with it, okay? Because David danced, right? The Bible said David danced out his clothes, but it shouldn't be for entertainment. It should actually be a praise unto God. Yeah, and the Bible said bodily exercise profiteth little, but godliness with contentment is great gain. So you really want to have great gain and increase in your life, you need some godliness with contentment, not bucking, having a Baptist fit. Listen, let me tell you something. God wants us to understand priorities, because really all this should culminate with how we show up in the world. So what I'm doing in here is not affecting how I show up out there, then I'm doing something wrong in here, because it really ain't about in here. The Bible— there is a running command to go into all the world and preach the gospel. That's a standing command. So your life— we are epistles written in red of men. That's the Bible. So when I show up, I ought to be a book that shows the proof of God. But I got to do what's right in here so it affects how I show about it. That's all. That's all verse 1 is telling us. Make sure that we press for the right reason, and when we get in here, we do the right things. So watch this so we can go back out. Okay, all right, so number 2, let's read verse 2. Luke 5:2, he says, and saw two ships standing by the lake, but the fishermen were gone out of them and were washing their nets. So watch this, situations set up revelation. I'll say that again, situations set up revelation. Revelation of what? Of who God is. Is and what God can do. So he comes to Genesaret. There are two fishermen who are quitting, who are giving up because they've been out there fishing. Now watch this. This verse shows me that Jesus is always attracted to people who are about to give up or who have given up. He will come and get you. He will use your situation to get the glory out of it. So if you got a situation where you cut— and I say this too, if you haven't ever felt like quitting something, you ain't in much. Because anything that's worth having, you're gonna at some point, you're gonna get challenged and want to quit. Glory to God. If you ain't never want to quit it, you might not ought to be doing it. I'm just saying. Because the reality is, it's those tests and those trials that transition you to the next phase. So there are challenges that are going to affect your human— watch this— Jesus wanted to quit. Somebody said, 'Now, not Jesus.' Yeah, yeah, Jesus. He went to Gethsemane and said, 'Father, if it be your will,' 'Let this cup pass from me. I don't want to do this. I understand you want me to save them. I want to— I see what's ahead. I won't do it.' But guess what Jesus did after going through that phase? He went a little bit further, the Bible said, and he prayed some more and said, 'Nevertheless,' watch this, not at dancing, not at worship, At thy word, I'm gonna do it. He said, nevertheless, at thy word, I'm gonna do what you said. Are y'all here? That's why you got to have some word in you. That's why I behoove you to study the word beyond church. You ought to have a study life. If the only time you open your Bible is on Sunday, something wrong. Oh, but I'm busy. But you busy enough to watch the news. You, you can sit down and watch your favorite show. Why you can't find time? Oh, you, you sure got time to go on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads. I think I hit all of them. Glory to God. You got time to hit all of them, but there's an app that you can download that has the Bible in it. You just need to do it on your phone. You ought to at least open your Bible. Check your screen time weekly and see which app gets the most screen time— your Bible or Facebook, your Bible or Instagram. If Instagram is beating your Bible, you, you're not maximizing your time to get word in you. That's why when the preacher is teaching, or you're in any service, you should be taking notes so you can go back and study that and make sure the word— listen, guess what? You all take notes while I'm teaching to make sure I'm in the word. Are y'all hearing this? To make sure what I'm saying is solid. Don't get up— because there's some preachers will get up and they'll say stuff that ain't even biblical. It'll sound deep, it'll sound awesome, wonderful, ain't nowhere in the Bible. Are y'all hearing this? We live in a season of fact-checking. Check the Bible, check the preacher, fact-checked it. Are y'all hearing this? You better fact-check in these days. Glory to God. 'Cause I'm telling you, people are about themselves. And so what— 'cause what they want to do is draw men to them. But the Bible says here he saw those that were giving up. And the Bible says, watch, they were going out of their nets, their ships, and washing their nets, which means they had thrown in the towel. We done. We are done. We ain't caught no No fish. We're about to get out of here. Look at what Jesus does. Jesus enters into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down— watch this— and he taught the people out of the ship. What people? These same people that pressed to hear the word. So Jesus needed a place to stand where everybody could see him. The ship was ideal. Watch this. No matter what you're going through, no matter what the ship looks like, Jesus wants to get on that boat. He wants to get involved in that ship so that he can release the instructions on how to navigate to the the next phase. Look at what he told him to do. He said he got— first of all, he didn't ask to get on the ship. Notice what it said, he entered the ship and then started giving instructions. That's a God move right there. Wait a minute, because in your mind, dude, this is not your ship, what is you doing? I mean, but Jesus is like, I'm not even asking, I'm going into the ship. He entered the ship, didn't ask for permission, and then told them what to do with the ship. He said, thrust out a little from the land, and then he started teaching. He said nothing else to them. I imagine they said, now who is this? Who do you think he is? Just took over. I mean, just think about it. If you had a ship, somebody showed up, told you, you done came in, quit for the day, So now get back out a little from the land and just start teaching on your ship. What you gonna do? Just think about how you would react. You're gonna ask some questions. But he started teaching. Watch this. The thrusting from the little land says if you want to change your condition, you got to learn to change your position. A lot of people stay in the same condition because they refuse to change positions. You cannot get freedom from a condition that was given to you in an environment— oh my God— that refuses to shift. You got to change your position. You got to get out because that environment has proven it has no power to change your condition. So you got to change your position. You got people sitting up right now in dead churches wanting more, hungry, man. I'm talking about they sitting there hungry. There's a lady right now watching this live in her car, and she go— because she know, she know who I'm talking to. I'm talking straight to you. She in her car right now on the phone watching me teach. Are y'all here? She went to a church so she could do her duties as, 'cause she had an obligation to the children 'til she transitions over here. But at the end of the day, when the time for the word, she goes out of that church. Instead of listening to that pastor, she in the car on her phone. Listen to me, 'cause she understands I gotta change my position. Because her condition don't shift when she listened to that. It may shift for other people, but there are people who have different levels of needs. And if you're hungry spiritually in a certain place, glory to God, you cannot get filet mignon at McDonald's. That meat is not a filet mignon. You drive through there, you want to, you could drive through there And say, "May I take your order?" "Yeah, I would like a filet mignon." They gonna say, "Sir, we don't sell that here. You at the wrong place. You need to go to the steakhouse." Are y'all hearing this? If all they got in there is Enfamil, that's all you gonna get. Or breast milk, that's all you gonna get. Y'all listen to this, but you gotta change your position. You want the condition to change? If the pastor never lay hands on you and you're sick and he, he don't understand he got the power to lay hands on you and you get healed, you gotta change your position. Oh my God. Okay, I'm gonna keep moving. Say they were washing their nets. Say they were washing the nets. Verse 3, he said, and he entered one of the ships which was Simon's, pray him, throw us out a little on land. And he sat down and taught the people out of the ship. So they— I made that emphasis on washing the nets because they had put these nets down and decided we're going home, this is the end of our day. Jesus interrupts that and says, change your position. I'm telling you, if you watch this, you don't like the money you get at the end of the week, change what you do during the week. When you get your paycheck, you don't like it, stop looking at it saying, oh Jesus, they done gave me this little money. They give you that little money all the time. So change what you're doing during the week. That's the same check you got 2 weeks ago, or the same check you got last month. So instead of you looking at it saying, man, I just need do something else. Just, just do it. Change your position so the condition of that check will change. Are y'all hearing this? Woman sitting at home getting beat up by her husband and praying that he stopped hitting her. No, you need to leave. Religion tell you no, you need to stay. That's your— the devil is a lie. You need to leave. Because at the end of the day, you're not going to change the condition if you don't change positions. As long as you stay in the house, he gonna keep being angry, he gonna keep fighting you. At least you need to— if you really love him and want to see him delivered, you need to get out of there and save yourself and pray for him from afar until he get delivered. I'm trying to tell you something: conditions shift with position. I mean, if you look at it in the natural, in the medical field, if you got a— if you got an ailment and you go— you sitting at home knowing you got a big old growth on your arm and you don't know what the growth is, you don't know if something bit you or what, but you sitting at home, so I'm gonna do some home remedies. You got some grass on it, everything, trying to get it to go. Listen, no, you, you need to go to the doctor. Doctor. Change your position. If you don't pray for it, they went down, going on over there to the doctor and let him give you some antibodies, whatever he could prescribe, because you have no authority to prescribe that to yourself. So you can get that growth to go down on your arm. Are y'all here? Okay, I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go. Okay. So he taught the people out of the ship. That's a good, good word here because the word taught is didaktos in Greek, and it means a systematic way of sharing that brings understanding. So he did it in a systematic way. He did it so they could understand it. It wasn't over their head. When they left, they were enlightened. They knew what the next steps were after he got through teaching. You can't get that if all somebody is doing is mm-hmm. Is that all they're doing? You can't get that. You might be inspired for the moment. I remember when we used to get some good preaching growing up. And boy, we leave church and be like, what preacher show preached today? Somebody said, what that dude preach about? We don't know, but he, he was preaching, man. He went in. I can't tell you nothing he said, but I felt good. Yeah, that's right, we had good church. The devil is a liar. We need more than a good church. We need more than a preacher that can entertain us. We need a Jesus-type teacher that we could be enlightened, that we could leave— glory to the name of God— knowing that we have heard from God and have some next steps. What do I do next? How do I make this work in my life? Are y'all here? Watch this. The Bible said, verse 4, he said, now when he left speaking, he said to Simon, launch out into the deep, woo-wee, and let down your nets for a drought. I love this. So Jesus, now he turns to the people who own the boat. My first response would have been, well, it's been— it was nice that you finally decided to address me now that you done taught a whole message on my boat. But Jesus says, you were fishing in the wrong place. He says, launch out into the deep. He said, so now take this net, this boat, out into the deep now, because they was in shadow. Again, that's changing position. Watch this, it's expanding your mindset, to deepen your insight, to deepen your spiritual intelligence, you gotta deliberately launch into places you've never gone. You got to be hungry for more. You gotta, you gotta decide that what I have is not enough, but I'm gonna launch out into the deep and let my net down again. Watch this. And you can't share your movement. Notice the people that was on the bank didn't get on the boat. It was just Simon, Jesus, and the other guy. That's them, the only ones went out there, because you can't take everybody with you. Everybody ain't gonna want to go with you. Watch this. You cannot fit a 16 by 20 idea in a 3 by 5 mind. If you got a 16 by 20 dream and you trying to communicate that to somebody with a 3 by 5 mind, they are not gonna understand. Your, your, your desires are bigger than their thought process. So you gotta launch out into waters where you can flow outside of shallow thinking. Watch this. If you are eagle, and you should be, you can't run with chickens because a chicken doesn't have the ability to ascend to the height you need to fly in. And to hang with that chicken, you gotta condescend to blend in. You gotta constantly visit the ground. Are y'all here? To blend in with that chicken. So, and what am I saying? If you want to be proved, you gotta go into deep places. Open your mind to more than surface things. Get a hunger for the depths and the realms and the dimensions of the spirit that you've never had before. Have a longing to have real conversations with God. Are we here? He said, 'Let down— don't shout into the deep and let down your nets for a drought.' This word deep, I love it. It's bathos in Greek, B-A-T-H-O-S. Oes, which means to be extremely surrounded by water, which means like a fish, it's like that becomes his environment. Now watch this, a fish— hear me now— doesn't even know he's in water. That's just his natural habit because that's where he always was. Nobody has communicated it to him that you're living in water. But when he comes out of it, you know, I'm out of my natural environment, he starts flapping and flipping all kind of places and trying to figure out how to flap himself back in that water. Because he know that water is his life source. What am I saying? You have to become so immune and one with the things of the Spirit that you don't even know you're living in it, that you're walking in it. That's what it means when it says walk in the Spirit, that you don't fulfill the lust of the flesh. It means to be deported into where you're surrounded by the things of God at all times. Oh God, that means no matter what happens outside of you, it doesn't bother you. You know when you get bothered? When somebody snatches you out of that realm. That's why you got to work hard to protect your walk, protect your joy walk, protect your life in the word, and not let people in. And you know how fish get out of water? Bait. Oh my God, they, they take the bait. They think it's something that lives in there, that lives in their habitat. Good God. And they bite that hook and they end up dead in a frying pan with some hot sauce on. And that's what you don't want. You want to end up between of bread because you let somebody bait you out of the presence. Oh my God, they done set up deception and deceived you out of place. It's a dangerous thing. Oh God, that's why you got to stand still and bathos— get surrounded by the things of God. Cuz people can go to talking negative, they can go telling you, you got to stop serving God, he ain't all that, he ain't doing this for you. And they can talk you out of being spiritual. You better trust him. You better become poor in the flesh and rich in the spirit, which means you you take no confidence in your flesh at all. You have to accept that your flesh has no currency to provide what you need for spiritual living. Woo! God! You cannot do a kingdom job and a spiritual job out of your flesh. Your flesh cannot provide what you need. It cannot satisfy the appetite of the spirit. Everything the flesh give you is temporary. That's why the Bible said no good thing come out of the flesh. Nothing good come out of this body. So we got to mortify the members of the flesh, put on the Spirit of God. Watch verse 5. And Simon— and you know, Simon got a little attitude here because first of all, you own my boat, man, and you ain't even acknowledge me. So he said, Simon answered, saying, hey, master, 'Look, I know you the master, you Jesus. We done heard about all the stuff. I just heard you teach. Yeah, you good. But let me tell you something, we fishermen,' he said, 'we have toiled all night. You ain't— you went out here, Jesus, we out here all night. Now you trying to tell us go back out here? We've been out here all night and took nothing.' That's the story of a lot of people who've been toiling, trying to make the things of God work out of their flesh. Oh my God, toiling, trying to do a spiritual thing with their intellectual ability, and it makes it hard. I'm telling you, I've been there. I've been— there's been seasons in my life where I was leaning on me. One, praying like I ought to have been. One, fasting. I knew the word, and you really couldn't tell me much. I was too proud and arrogant. But it cost me a lot being that way, because at the end of the day, I was trying to accomplish a spiritual thing in a natural suit with no help from God, knowing I needed him. Knew I needed just took for granted. Well, he got me, he called me, he wouldn't have gave me this anointing, he wouldn't have gave me these gifts. But do you realize God will use you for people and then refuse you personally? Okay, y'all don't believe it. He said, in that day many will come and say, Lord, Lord, did not I prophesy in your name? Did not I cast out devils in your name? Did not I preach in your name? Did not people get saved under my ministry? He's going to say, depart from me. I never knew you. Your work was of iniquity. Why is that? The word iniquity means lawlessness. It means it has no— you had no boundaries. You, you didn't obey spiritual law. You operated out of you. So what I did was I used your gifts to get other people to me, but now I'm gonna deny you. Paul said, I could preach to others and they become saved, lest by any means I don't bring myself under. He says, I myself will be a away. So I'm telling you, God will use you. I've lived it, and I've, I've gone to church— true story— cast out devils, prayed for the sick, prophesied to everybody in the building, seen all kind of miracles happen, got back to the hotel and couldn't touch God myself. I'm telling you, that's not a testimony you want, because I was living in the realm of familiarity. I operated in my gifts, and I was familiar with how my gifts worked, but my life didn't match it. Are y'all hearing this? I'm just transparently telling— don't judge me, glory. I'm just honest enough to talk about me. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Because I'm delivered, I can talk about it. Are y'all here? The reality is we gotta line up with him and live to please him. So now ministry is about how I live Even before I come in here, I, I make a choice every day to get up and live holy, no matter what come at me. I want to live right. I want my life to be pleasing to God. I don't care how fine a chick is who tried to come on to me. I was at one of the last games I went to. I'm a season ticket holder for the Atlanta Hawks, and, uh, so this season my wife, because her back surgery, didn't go to a lot of games with me. So a lot of times it'd be random people sitting next to me. So one night this lady was sitting next to me and she was flirting the whole night. And I'm just sitting there saying to myself, I said, "Lady, you ready to go on home, 'cause I don't care how pretty you are, how fine you are, I ain't even thinking about you." I mean, she over there drinking and all that stuff, lean. I'm like, before I left, I said, "Did you enjoy yourself?" 'Cause the other seat she was in was mine. I had it up, she bought it. I didn't even know she bought it. 'Cause I never know who buys the other seat. But the reality is, I said, "Did you enjoy yourself?" She said, "I did." I said, "Well, you have a good night." I said, "And I wanna challenge you." It was a Saturday. I said, "Get up in the morning and find a church and give your heart to Jesus." And I kept walking. Because she was used to people responding to that. And I'm like, uh-uh. First of all, I love God. Second, I love my wife and I'm married to her to a woman that's crazy, she will shoot me. Man, I am not finna fool with you. What am I saying? I'm saying here, man, listen, we have to be ready to be used by God at all times, and that requires purity. You don't want to be— it's a bad feeling to be used and refused. Like, God, I did all this and I can't tap in. I can't hear you no more like I used to. God, I'm preaching, but— and people getting breakthroughs, but my relationship is whack. We got to get ourselves in order. I'll never go back to that place. Are y'all hearing this? He said, we don't toil all night, we took nothing, we ain't catch one thing. Watch this. So obviously what you were doing was going against some supernatural intervention, because remember, they're fishermen. This is what they do. This is how they live. This is their economy. Ain't no time where they go out and don't catch nothing. So here's a revelation God gave me, because God has the ability to speak to wildlife. He knew these two new disciples, Peter and John— hallelujah— were about to be called to follow him. What God will do is make you fail at what you do best to prove to you that you cannot live without him. They did this better than anything else. And I believe God spoke to the fish and told them, go, all y'all go all the way to the bottom of this sea, of this lake, and so any net that passed by wouldn't touch him. And I saw the spirit when I was studying it, it Them fish, they— that's what they did. He spoke and they went, and God showed me this is not the first time he spoke to fish. It wasn't even second time. The first time he spoke to fish, he told the disciples, he said, hey, we got to pay our taxes. Go down there, the first fish that comes up, he's going to have money in his mouth. Take the money, pay the tax. He had already told the fish to eat the money. Okay, if that ain't enough, back in the Old Testament, he spoke to the whale. He said, I got a disobedient prophet coming by here. I want you to swallow him up. Are y'all hearing this? See, the miracle— and if you read in the, in the book of Jonah, the Bible even said, and God summons the fish. The miracle ain't Jonah was in the belly of the whale. Oh my God, the belly of the whale. The miracle is that God talked to the fish. He could talk to wildlife. And just so that he could give you revelation. Because remember, again, situation brings revelation. So God created a situation, sent the fish to the bottom. Now he tells them, go back out. They obey, because now Peter says, nevertheless, you ain't no fisherman and you talking about going back out here. Nevertheless, We're going to take you at your word. Word sound familiar? And we're going to take you at worship and dancing. We're going to take you at what you've taught us. We just sat here and learned and listened to the logic of God. But watch this, there's a different transliteration of the word word in that verse than the first verse. The first one is logos, the second one is rhema. So watch this, rhema means to put the logic in proper grammatical expression. That's really what rhema is. People be talking about rhema, rhema, rhema. It just means to properly express it. It means to express it grammatically again so I can understand it. He said, we understand your word, and nevertheless we're gonna do what you say. Are y'all hearing this? Watch this. Whenever you read nevertheless in the Bible, it is saying to you and I that God's option is never less than ours. His option is always better. It's never less. His way is always better. It's never less. Even if what you think it might appear better at some— watch this— even when you think he wrong, okay? Because now sometimes It appears like Jesus is wrong, but just because it appear that way, he ain't never wrong, because whatever he do is right. Whatever he do is true. Watch this. He comes to, uh, oh my God, Lazarus' grave, and you would think this is his friend, and They telling him Lazarus has died. Jesus shows up 3 days later after telling them he ain't dead, he sleep. Now all things point to dead. Are y'all hearing this? He been dead 3 days. Rigor mortis done set in. He done started to stink. They done brought over chicken. Y'all done ate it. I mean, at the end of the day, he gone. But Jesus looks through a heavenly lens, as in, uh, easily. But he set up a situation to show them, I am the resurrection and I'm the life, so that, so that they understood that nothing can live or die except I'm involved. He said, your word, I'm gonna let down the net. Say that with me. Say, I gotta obey what God says because his way is always right and it's never less than my way. It's always greater. Verse 6, watch this, watch what happens. And when they obeyed— somebody say proof— they enclosed a great multitude of fish, and their nets break. This is powerful. Not only did they get a multitude, they got so much that the net that they had couldn't contain it. The nets begin to break. Now notice something. The nets break. They enclosed the fish, the multitude. But here's the miracle of the 2 fish and 5 loaves again with more fish. Because after the fish got in the net, they started multiplying and the nets started breaking. They went down one time, bang. Down, and now these fish are breaking themselves, multiplying. I mean, cuz remember, the, the little boy had 2 fish and 5 loaves, and when Jesus gave thanks and break it, it began to multiply. He fed 5,000. So as they— as he broke one fish, was coming out the other, just coming out. That's what was happening with this net. Just think about it. If you operate in the depths of the the supernatural, how you'll be proof how God could take what you have and just begin to multiply and cause you to walk in increase. Oh my God, I've seen it with my own eyes. I've seen it multiply money in my hand. God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all you can think or say to ask. Watch this, he's to catch according to the power that worketh in you. So you got to know the power that's in you, and you got to know he's the creator of all things. He lives in you, and if you obey his word, he'll make you proof. Verse 7, and I'm done. And they begging unto their partners. See, this is why God wants to break your net and give you an overflowing anointing where things— you can have to call on others to even help you, and you can even bless them, you know. And then I'm gonna close with this in this scripture. My wife and I was in the car yesterday, and we were actually not— well, not yesterday, day before. Was it yesterday we ate with Jeff and Pam? Day before yesterday, that was Friday. So we was headed out to dinner, and, um, you know, I, I've been really praying about some things that I got on the table that God is doing in my life, my ministry, my business. And I trust God, right? And I know what God promised me. And so I'm sitting there, the Lord said said, cuz I hadn't talked to one of my friends in a long time, Apostle Jerry Howard. God said, call Apostle Howard. So I called Apostle Howard. Apostle Howard said, Apostle Woods, I'm glad you called me. You know, he's this Holy Ghost preacher, always very— yeah, he's always— so I said, yeah man, it's so good to talk to you, man, to hear your voice. I didn't talk to you since last year. He was like, man, I tried to call you at the beginning of the year, but obviously I've been down in the wrong number because this number you just called me on ain't in my phone. I said, yeah, you've been calling the wrong number. He said, well, I've been calling you, and I put him on speaker. So I said, well, let me put on speaker because I know you about to prophesy. So he said, I've been calling you because God told me to tell you something. I said, okay, sir, I'm listening. As soon as he started prophesying, I started weeping because because I felt the presence of God. And he said, he said, Apostle, he said, first of all, God told me to anoint your hands because everywhere you put your hands for the rest of your life is going to be blessed. He said all the things you've gone through were for this season. He said God is about to bless you. He said, I know you're blessed, but God's about to bless you so abundantly financially, that the money you desire to give to people, that how you desire to help people start business, how you desire to help your community, he said you're going to be able to do that with ease. He's saying it's going to happen before this year is out. He said before this year is out, he said that billionaire status that's prophesied over you is going to begin to manifest. And all I was doing was weeping because I know that's God multiplying everything I already got supernaturally, because that's what he's gonna do to make it happen. It won't be any extra— and that's what he said, it won't be any effort, it's gonna be God that does this. And I'm telling you, that's what God wants us, where we can have to call for our partners, people that work with us. Us, people that we want to be a blessing to. Hallelujah! To, to help us enjoy the blessing. They said they beckoned to their partners, which in other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came and filled both ships. They kept fishing. Y'all see the miracle? They ain't putting them nets back down. This is one drop multiplying, got both ships full of fish. So what am I saying? We ought to become the proof through partnering with each other, helping each other, being a blessing to each other, that when people see us, none of us ever lack a thing. We ought to be a kingdom family that has a commonwealth for real. Commonwealth is a shared wealth. That means if I got it, you got it. Are y'all hearing this? That means that When we operate like this, we make sure everybody has what they need because that's the King's will. We're proof, y'all. Y'all stand. I hope y'all got something out of that. Hallelujah! Give God praise for his word. Come on, come on, give him praise! Hallelujah! Glory to God! Hallelujah! We bless him, we honor his great name. He's so good, he's so kind. Glory to God. Bow your heads, we're going to pray. Glory to God. And then we're going to say some of this out loud. Glory to Jesus. Hallelujah. Just begin to pray in the spirit if you got a prayer language. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Lebeso tu rangisa tatabaye. Urandetidemo siai. Oh, koransha shotura pata. Oh, glory. We give you the glory, God. Father, in the name of Jesus, We thank you for your people this morning. We thank you for your word, God. We thank you that we are proof and that we are to show ourselves to the world with infallible proof that this should be a regular thing in our life, God, that we will be proof that you are alive, that we will be proof that you live, God, and that men and women and children alike will know that you are God. And so, Father, we thank you that that infallible proof will work in our life, God. We'll meet people in restaurants in hospitals, and we'll meet them in grocery stores. We'll meet them in gas stations, God, and on our job. And God, they'll see the anointing. They'll see the glory. And people even approach us and say, "Please pray for me." And there'll be others that we'll see, and you'll lead us to pray for them. And we thank you, God, that we will open doors for others and that your glory will be revealed in and through us, God. We thank you, God, that our worst days are over, and we decree and declare today that these are the best days of our life. We decree and declare that the way it has been is not the way it's gonna be. But God, the days ahead will be filled with glory. They'll be filled with joy. They'll be filled with peace. They'll be filled with love. They'll be filled with prosperity. And we declare it, God, in the name of Jesus, that no weapon formed against us will be able to prosper. In the name of Jesus, we glorify you. We declare we're proof. We're proof. Say this with me. Say, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, say, I decree and declare that you're working on history in my life. Say, I declare now, and it came to pass. Say, wherever I am, it didn't come to stay. Say, I didn't come to stay. Say, it came to pass. Say, better days are coming. Say, great days are coming. Say, God, in Jesus' name, say, I have my priorities in order. Say, I will press, not just on Sunday, to hear your word. And that means I will listen to the word daily. I will read the word Daily. And in the name of Jesus, your mindset, your thought process will be a part of my life, and I will live under the word. In Jesus' name. Say, I won't just be a hearer, but I'll also be a doer of your word. Say, in Jesus' name. I decree and declare, I am proof that you are alive. I say in the name of Jesus, in the days ahead, many will experience the power of the resurrection because of me. It is so in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. If you believe it, shout about it in this place. Open your mouth and shout hallelujah! Hallelujah! We give you glory, God! Hallelujah! Glory to God! We bless your great name! Thank you, Jesus! Before you sit down, just look at somebody and tell them it is so. Yes, God. Hallelujah. Glory to God. We bless your name. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Wonderful Jesus. Wonderful Jesus. Hallelujah. So be it, and it shall not be otherwise. So be it. And it shall not be otherwise. Whoa, it shall be so in Jesus' name. Glory! Thank you, Lord. God have mercy. I pray you're blessed today. Glory to God. We're going to take this moment to receive our offering really quick. Glory to God. Put the ways to give up for me, Mario. Glory to the name of God. We bless His name. He's a good God. He's a mighty God. Hallelujah. He's worthy of praise. He's worthy of glory and honor. Hallelujah. Those of you online, the ways of giving are scrolling across the screen. So Father, we thank you right now in the name of Jesus for every gift and every giver. We thank you for this ministry. We thank you that this ministry doesn't lack a thing, neither does it have a care, but we are blessed, God. All of our bills bills are paid and we have the desires of our heart. We thank you for that, God. We thank you that we're moving in abundance, and we thank you that you're already opening up doors for new facilities, God. We thank you that once this lease expires, we'll be able to buy a new facility debt-free, and we decree and declare we'll buy it with owing no man nothing, and it will adequately accommodate our growth. It will accommodate our youth. It will accommodate our community, and we declare it in the name of Jesus. We thank you for what's to come, and bless every giver, God. May their seed, may their gift, may their tithe go back to them a thousand times more, and may they lack no thing. In Jesus' name, amen and amen. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Yes, if you have physical money, I'm gonna grab this bucket. Glory to God. You— I know Sister Thelma likes to give physically. Glory to God. Yes, I love it, I love it, I love it. Glory to God. Thank you, Lord. We give God praise, we give God praise, and even bless our online audience, God, as they're sowing. Give it back to them a thousand times more. In Jesus' name, we bless you, God. So be it, so be it. Hallelujah. Were y'all blessed today? Glory to God. Hallelujah, hallelujah, glory to God. All right, well, we're, we're getting out of here. Hallelujah. Don't forget to join us on Tuesday for fast. So we're re-initiating our Tuesday fast. Want to make sure we— it ain't never went nowhere. I just want to make sure everybody's doing it. So from 12 noon to 3, we fast on Tuesday. From 12 midnight to 3 in the afternoon, we fast. So Monday night, 11:59, 12, you go on to— you fast, no nothing until 3 o'clock. Water, y'all hear?
