APOSTOLIC CONTINUITY | APOSTLE MIKE WOODS SR | RADAH CHURCH | 9-18-2022

Apostle Mike Woods Sr. teaches on spiritual continuity as the unbroken pattern that creates lasting legacy and generational impact. He draws on 1 Corinthians 3:10-14 to explain how grace, wisdom, and mentorship build apostolic culture, contrasting temporary movements with finished, generational work.

All right, I'm gonna jump right into this. I'm gonna pray, and many of you may catch this by replay, but I believe that this is something we need to hear. Uh, I believe that, glory to God, what we're about to share is going to be, uh, simply life-changing. Praise God. So again, you guys come in and do me a kind favor and share this. So, Father, in Jesus' name, we thank you for another opportunity to share your word. We thank you for this Sunday, this this day you have made, and we rejoice and we're glad in it. We thank you for the anointing that removes burdens and the anointing that destroys yokes. Father, we thank you that even now your people will be enlightened and empowered, God, and edified and enriched, uh, by this revelation and by what you will cause me to share even now. Father, we thank you for the riches of your grace and your mercy and your favor that rests upon our lives. Father, we decree and declare, God, that as we teach concerning continuity, that the spirit of continuity, God, will be released into the lives of your people even on tonight. And we give you praise for it now. We declare, God, now that no weapon, hallelujah, that's formed against us can prosper. We thank you, God, hallelujah, that we have the This is our heritage, God, that no weapon formed against our destiny, our legacy, God, our purpose, God, that it cannot prosper, it cannot work. And so, Father, we give you praise, we give you glory, we give you honor, we lift you up and we exalt you, kind sir. And we say, Lord, besides you there is no other. You rule and you super rule. Heaven is your throne and the earth is your footstool. The heavens, hallelujah, declare your glory in the earth, your handiwork. We give you praise, we give you glory, we honor your great name even now, God. In the mighty name of Jesus, we bless you and we give you glory, God. You're wonderful, you're mighty, and you are amazing, God. Hallelujah! We bless you, God. Hallelujah! There's none like you nowhere. Let us experience even now The light, the illumination, and the intelligence, God, of the Holy Ghost. We give you praise, we give you glory, we give you honor. In Jesus' name, amen. And thanks be to God. Listen, I love you guys today. I thank you so much for being here. Do me the kind favor— hey, God bless you, Pastor Maggie Wilson, good to see you. Glad that you're on. You guys, do me the kind favor and share this. Uh, there is something— yeah, setting is different. I'm in, in the hotel, so, uh, because I'm in Birmingham. Glory to the name of God. Again, we're going to be here for a few days, uh, with Apostle Davis and the Shift Conference. Super excited about the opportunity always to take the position of a learner. Uh, you know what, you, you don't grow, you don't increase if you never, uh, sit at the feet of others who can impart into you. So I'm excited about speakers, about all of the day sessions, everything we'll get a chance to experience this week. But I wanted to again come in here and share something that I believe would be a tremendous blessing to you. Praise the name of God. So please do me a favor, guys, share this. Somebody needs this word on today, whether you're live or by replay. I need you to share this. Amen. Glory to God. All right, so we're gonna jump into this right about now. Glory to God. And I'm super excited to teach this word. I really am. Um, glory to the name of Jesus. Uh, let's see what we want to do here. All right, yeah, let's do that. Glory to God. All right, ladies and gentlemen, again I believe that God has something he wants to say to you today. Do me a favor and please again share this, right? So we're talking about continuity. So Michael Woods, what is— all right, continuity. What is continuity? Continuity is the continual form, thus continue, the continual process of unbroken patterns or systems that last over time— watch this— in the natural, and even over eternity in the realm of the spirit. Continuity is doing things consistently so that it lasts. And watch this, so that it creates— hear me, and I'm not gonna be long, I just sound like it— so that it creates Succession. All right. And that's really what God wants to do. That's what he wants out of our life. He wants to create succession. I am 53 years old, turned 53 this year in July. And, you know, actually, when I turned 50, I got a different vantage point or perspective of how I wanted my life to finish. Continuity is about creating patterns, or the Greek word for patterns or behaviors that I want to use is pneumaticos. Pneumaticos is the behavior of spiritual people. Hear that, all right? It's the behavior of spiritual people. And there's a way that spiritual people should act, and in particular, if you're trying to have good success in fulfilling an assignment There's definitely a way that you ought to be acting. There are— there's definitely are patterns that you should be following after the Holy Spirit and the Holy Ghost. Hear me, that will cause the assignment of God, the very destiny of God, to be manifested in your life. So when I turned 50, I started looking at a few things differently. I, you know, for the last 35 years, I've been very clear about these terms. But actually, you know, even preaching and teaching them, but actually hitting home and understanding how I have to operate to finish and to finish correctly so that I leave a legacy. And it's going to take continuity. Continuity, number one, in the area of purpose. Purpose is why we are here. So at this stage in my life, it's not just something I preach and teach. I've been preaching and teaching it for 30 years, for real. And listen, understand, I'm clear that everything I do now has to be accurate. Every person, everything I connect to has to be accurate, has to be around purpose. Why I am here. If it doesn't have a synergy with purpose, watch this, ultimately it's going to become a distraction. And that distraction is going to create a delay, a delay that I really do not want or desire in my life. I don't have time for delays. Matter of fact, 53, 17 years, I'll be 70. I was telling someone the other day, these next 17 years, matter of fact, one of my sons in the ministry, these next 17 years of my life, I cannot afford to miss. I couldn't afford it before, but I really cannot afford to miss it to the left or to the right ever again in my life. Because these next 17 years, everything I do has to count. I was out on the golf course yesterday and I was telling my little cousin Tracy, you know, you got to keep in your head when you step to the tee or step— address your ball, that every shot in this game counts. And what you was really— you, when you're playing golf, every stroke counts. You don't get do-overs when you're scoring correctly. Everything counts. And so when you come to the ball, you come with that in mind, making sure that you accurately do what you got to do in life and walking with God. I want to tell you prophetically right now, everything in this season of your life you need to do it accurately. You cannot afford to miss it to the left nor to the right. You cannot afford— hear me— to miss things on technicalities. Glory to God. You cannot afford— I want you to understand, glory to God. Hey, Prophet Sharon, God bless you. Good to see you, woman of God. Listen, you cannot afford to miss things because I want you to be very clear, all right, that When you miss things again through distractions, it creates delays. And many of you are behind schedule. Again, live or by replay, podcast, YouTube, Twitter, wherever you're watching us right now. Listen, so many people are delayed because they messed around and got distracted from what was purposed. And purpose again is the original intent to why God created you. Not what you wanna do, not what you feel like you can do, not what somebody told you you supposed to be doing. It literally is, hear me, what God says you're supposed to be doing. Lord have mercy today. So I live according to purpose. I am aligned with people who connect to purpose. Glory to God. I am aligned, glory to the name of God, with assignments that connect to purpose. Because I cannot afford on any day to miss it. Hear me, and I want you guys to listen to me. Some of you want to scroll and bounce in and out. Listen, I need you to stay stationary and listen tonight, because at the end of the day, I'm gonna give you some soul food, something that's gonna literally change your life. I'm not interested in entertaining you, but I want you to grab this and make application. So I live according to purpose. Secondly, I live according to destiny. Destiny is different than purpose. Destiny is an inevitable— watch this— pre-planned, pre-designed course of events. So I— it is— you stand in a spot and you look ahead at prophetically— watch this— at the events that are going to occur. I'm not just a prophet to people when I prophesy and speak into people's lives and speak to prime ministers and kings and presidents. That's not just all I do. My most forward prophecy starts with me, and it's not fruitful as a prophet if I can see into your life and can't see into my own. Glory to the name of God. And that's why there's a lot of prophets out there who are misguided and misrepresenting the office because they don't even understand the destiny. I need you to understand, people, you got to see clearly. And that's why even if you can't see it You need prophets around, people that can help you clearly adjust and focus in on— hear me. Hey, wife, good to see you, lady. I'm glad you all— I hate you not with me in Birmingham, glory to God, but I'm glad that you're all watching this live right now. Glory to God. You, you got to understand, you gotta have prophets and people that can see to help you order your steps so you can move properly into— watch this, remember I said destiny was an inevitable course of events. It's inevitable. It's inevitable, which means it's pre-planned, it's preordained. When it is destiny for real, you're on the road to a divine destiny that God planned. Now watch this. There are events that have been structured before you got here that will occur if you don't follow God's plan. Oh, wait a minute. So a lot of the things that we go through unnecessarily out of God's will is— oh my God— is because we detached ourselves. Oh boy. From the true destiny that was set up for us before we came into the world. Oh my God. I need y'all to grab this tonight for real. So you, from where you are, you need to know where you're going, and you need to understand what destiny really looks like from a prophetic point of view. So I live at 53 according to where I am going from here to there. And again, I align myself to that regard. But thirdly, which is getting me to my point tonight, I live according to legacy. I live based on what I shall leave behind. My wife and I were on the phone, uh, talking when I was traveling to Birmingham today, and, uh, I said to her, I said, hey, I'm getting ready to set up a meeting with our kids. I mean, together we got 5 kids together. We have a blended family, and all our kids are grown except one, and he's 13. And in Jewish custom, he's considered a man. And so I have even began teaching him things concerning his manhood so he can transition into manhood effectively even now. But hear me, I told her, I said, listen, I gotta start talking to them about legacy, about heritage. See, there's a difference in inheritance, and I don't want to get too deep into this because this is a whole nother apostolic teaching on heritage. But I do want to hit this really quickly because most people want an inheritance, listen, but they don't want to embrace— glory to God— My God, heritage. Inheritance is a reward that your descendants give you after they are deceased. But if you're not careful, you can give an inheritance to people who don't have the heritage inside of them to carry on legacy. And watch this, they'll destroy the family name. In the Bible, anytime there was a tribe or a group of people who was not upholding the legacy properly, if you could study it, God would cut it off and destroy that line because the heritage wasn't built inside of those who inherited the throne or inherited the kingdom. Listen, can I tell you something? I told my wife, I said, hey, I'm gonna talk. I got to tell these kids. It's important in this season. That they embrace the heritage. Heritage is behavior, it's personality, it's— watch this— is carrying on a character that makes you distinct, that makes you honorable, and more— boy— and worthy of the inheritance. Lord, help us today. Jesus the Christ, oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. Oh boy, oh boy, I, I wish I had some help here. So let me jump in this, let me jump in this. So I want to start this, I want to read a couple verses, right? And, um, yeah, that's what I'm gonna do because again, continuity is consistently or doing something that has not been broken or interrupted or disrupted over time that it creates legacy. So I live for legacy. Thirdly, what I leave behind. I cannot leave an effective legacy— listen— if I don't have continuity. Can I tell you something apostolically? As an apostle in the Lord's church, the government of God is on my life, and I want to decree this over your life. If you stay with this message and receive The spirit of continuity is going to be released over you tonight in a supernatural way. Eee! And never again— I announce this over your life prophetically— will you start something and not complete it. I decree and declare tonight that the spirit of incompletion hear me, is broken off of your life right now in Jesus' name. In the name of Jesus, I decree and declare it's so now. In Jesus' name. Hallelujah, hallelujah, glory to God. So let's start with some scriptures. Let's go first to 1 Corinthians 3. I'm gonna read verse number 10, and I'm gonna read verse number 14. All right, the Bible says this, it says, according to the grace of God given me as a wise master builder The word wise in Greek is Sophia, which means skilled. Watch this, clever. It means, watch this, talented. Watch this, well learned. So Sophia, this idea that I've taken the position of a learner, I've gained skill and ability. Watch this, to do what I am purposed to do. He says, the grace God which is given to me as a wise master builder— architecton in Greek. We'll come back to this. He says, I've laid the foundation and another builds thereon. Now verse 14, if any man's work abide— I want you to take note of that word abide, hear me— which he have built thereupon, watch this, he shall receive a reward. The word abide is from the Greek word meno, M-E-N-O, and it means to— watch this— to stay in a given place, state, relationship, or expectancy. Watch this, with continuity, which means to be consistent in a place, to continue in a place expecting what you are— oh my God— continuing for to actually manifest. Can I tell you something? The assignment of God is ready. A matter of fact, it is more ready than it has ever been before. Listen to me, guys, to manifest fully and absolutely, oh, in your life. Somebody type that scripture on the screen. Glory to God. 1 Corinthians 10:3, 10, and 14. I want you to stay there. Watch this. You see the word reward? It only comes when the work can abide over a period of time. You see that in the text? So the reward— oh boy— the inheritance doesn't come unless you abide through continuity over a period. Oh, of time. Oh my God, oh my God. So, and while you're abiding, watch this, you're being qualified to keep the inheritance. You're being qualified to receive the reward. Listen, listen, listen. Works that cannot survive, works that do not have the spirit of continuity, cannot receive fruitfulness or the reward of heaven for doing that work. You may personally reward yourself, people may give you a reward, but there's no reward like the reward of heaven. So you gotta abide over time, which means you got to keep going even when it's tough. And that's what we're going to talk about tonight. Even when it's hard, you got to have continuity. All right, let's consider John 17. Here it is, verses 1 through 6. The Bible says this, it says, these words Jesus spake And lifted up his eyes to heaven, and watch this, and said to the Father, the hour has come, glorify thy Son. Listen, hallelujah, hallelujah, that thy Son also may glorify thee. Hear this, as thou has given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou has given him. And this is eternal life, that they may know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth. I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify me with thine own self. Wait a minute. Jesus said, now I want you to glorify me with yourself. Watch this. This is the benefit— I don't have time to teach this, oh my God— of all believers is to have God himself, the Father, operating through you in authority, and that his glory is resting on your life continually. Oh my God, let me read, let me read. He says, with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. Jesus said, look, I'm in the earth and I want you to give me the same fellowship and glory I had with you before I even got to this earth. That's heavy. And watch this, can I tell you something? As a believer, you're not in this alone. You can finish the course, you can do what you've been called to do, and God wants to give you everything you need. He wants to supply it Glory to God. So because glory there is doxa in Greek, it is the express manifestation of the Father. So God is saying, I want to expressly manifest myself in your life. Glory to God. Hallelujah. He said, I want to expressly be a part of everything you're doing, everything you're saying, everywhere you're going. He said, I want this for you. Are y'all, are y'all here? Oh my God, oh my God. Touch yourself and say, God wants to live in me and through me. Which means every time someone encounters you, he's saying he wants them to encounter him. Let me read, let me read, let me read. He says, I have manifested thy name unto men which thou gavest me out of the world. Thine they were, and thou gavest me them, and they— watch this— have kept thy word. Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. So in the text we read up early, he said, I have finished the work. So, uh-oh, uh-oh. So if I'm in Jesus, any work that I'm doing in Jesus— I want y'all to grab this. You got to hear the voice of this. See, some of y'all been reading the Bible, going to church all your life, but you never heard the voice. You never allowed this stuff to become one with you. But I want you to let this become one. Let this be a living word for you tonight. Well, again, whether you're watching us by YouTube Facebook, Twitter. This is not religious at all. Hear it and receive it and see it. Jesus said he's finished work, so any work you're doing in him, why are you struggling with it? It's already finished. It's already been complete. You got to follow the blueprints and be continuous and be continual in the blueprints that have already been established See, you, you gotta spend enough time with him so you can get the blueprints. You've been building— a master builder, architecton— you've been building according to a design that the master didn't create. And so because he didn't create it— hear me, hear me, hear me— You can't get the reward. You're struggling to get it done because you're transgressing against your authentic plan. So watch this. So instead of trying to do stuff, yeah, let's spend enough time with God. Hear me? Let's spend enough time with God. Still run around talking about what you can do. How would— and, and trying to flaunt your gifts. Let's spend enough time with God to be effective so we can see the blueprint. How about getting a revelation of the blueprint? Ah, oh my God, that's what we need, a revelation of the blueprint. Oh no, I know most people spend too much time on social media. You spend more time on Instagram and Facebook and YouTube than you do on your face? I say it again. How about you spend more time on YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook than you do on your face? But if you spend some time on your face, I'm a witness, God will show you the blueprints. Yeah. So he said, so the term finish, watch this. In the text is the Greek word teleios, which means to complete, to consecrate, and to consummate in character. So again, to finish something means that it's complete, uh, it's consecrated. Oh boy. So the work, the assignment— oh, I'm about to run up out of this hotel room— the assignment on your life It's already complete. It's already consecrated. It's already consummated, which means you're married to it. You become one with it. That's what happens in the honeymoon room, you know. You consummate the marriage, you become one with your spouse. Well, you have— it has already been consummated in your spirit. Jeremiah 1:5: Before I formed you, I knew you. What was happening? God was consummating the assignment. Oh my God, are y'all ready for this? Or you want to just keep living a Monday life, doing what you're doing, living in the realm of the earth and trying to complete assignments, uh-oh, that you came up with that's not in the blueprint, assignments that didn't come from God because They were born out of your flesh, out of your ambition, out of your desire to please men. Oh, we listen. The— listen, listen, listen. The trait of strength that is needed to endure the test of time— watch this. And to endure what life throws at you comes with having a spirit of continuity. Listen, that is born out of the blueprints for your life that have already been completed. Ah, do you realize when an architect designs something on paper and hands the plans over to you. You take it to the city, they stamp it, finish. The building in the city's mind is finished. The plans are concrete, are consummated, consecrated. What God built for your life is already finished. What he built for my life is already finished. We have to be careful that we're not building the wrong things. Listen, you can only finish your work if you have the spirit of continuity. It is the only guarantee that you will finish. Continuity not in vain repetitions of things. Oh my God. Good God Almighty, of things that God didn't say do. You need— oh man, you need, glory to God, the blueprints of what God originally intended for your life. And I'm telling you, they're real. God— I have a tight relationship with this guy, and he talks to me just like I'm talking to you right now. But can I tell you something? He— and he wants to show you his plans. Wow, man, I missed it so many years because I was lazy when it came to my consecration. I'll never forget when I first went full-time in ministry. Listen to this. I was doing a revival. I mean, this is— I mean, I've been a full-time minister 33 years. This is 30, at least 32 years ago. I was doing revival in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and you know, God was— God always has used me prophetically. He's always used me in miracles and signs and wonders, and I'm thankful for it, in spite of me many times, right? And, um, I am in Vicksburg, and yeah, I had this thing. I was working out every day. I loved— I mean, I'm a basketball player by nature, so I would love to go to play basketball. So one day, the pastor's son, who's a tall guy, he challenged me after service one night. I said, okay, well, let's go play. Let's go play tomorrow. So we get— pastor picked me up, got his son, went play. Of course, I beat this dude. But the pastor said to me, and I— back then, because I was so young, My mind wanted to be offended, but I didn't say nothing to him. I went back to the room and thought about what he said. He said, Prophet, he said, if the way God uses you, if you had consecration as a key element in your ministry, he said what God would do in your life and ministry will go through the roof. And it made me think, man, for real. I forget, my mind wanted to be like, who is this dude? Thank you. But he was right. I'm telling you right now, you got to spend time with God to get the blueprints and get the highest, the maximized result— hear this— out of what you're called to do. Uh, Uh, uh, I know, I know y'all been in church this morning and the preacher preached to you, uh, I'm telling you. But yeah, okay, I'm trying to give you something. Uh, you keep going where you go. I'm just— listen, I'm telling you, and getting entertained and get inspired. But remember, when you get inspired, often the inspiration becomes an expiration. What I'm giving you now It may not be have you running around the building, but I want to tell you something, it's never going to expire because it's going to bring real change in your life and it's going to bring real relationship. Oh my God, with God. My God, I wish this would go viral because people need to understand we got to have continuity. We got to do what God has called us to do. So again, you cannot finish your work if you don't have continuity. Watch this. If you don't accomplish, advance, execute, furnish, and finish. I'm gonna say it again. Continuity deals with the idea of accomplishing, advancing, executing, furnishing, and finishing. Watch this. Over time. And that's, hear me, what God wants from us. That's what he wants from us. Listen to me good, ladies and gentlemen. So there's a Greek word I want to give you. Matter of fact, that's a Hebrew word, makila. Makila. Watch this. It's a word in Greek for ambassador. Watch this. And an ambassador— makila also deals with, in some places, where the word apostolos is interchanged for makila, which is an ambassador, a king. Watch this. And watch this, people who have the spirit of continuity— anytime you look at people who are in action like the apostles, the disciples, they had a spirit of continuity. And watch this, Jesus painted the blueprint for them. They, they didn't want to receive it, but the blueprint was, dudes, I'm going to the cross. That's what Jesus was saying basically. My mission is to die. They didn't want to accept that, but Jesus laid the blueprint and influenced them to follow the plan. I'ma die and I'm gonna be resurrected. That was the blueprint. That was Jesus's purpose. Watch this. Apostles, hear this, and apostolic people cannot afford to not have the spirit of continuity on their life. That's why it's a problem with all these people that say they apostles, but they never finish nothing. They say they apostles, but they don't even have a car. They say they apostles don't have a house. Say they apostles and apostolic people, but got tons of debt. Hear me, no power, no anointing, never finishing anything they start. It's one thing to be a pioneer and start it Here's a question. When you really have an apostolic anointing, or you're connected to apostolic culture or apostolic people, you have the ability to finish. And this is why every one of you, live or by replay, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, wherever you are today watching us, you have to have an apostle, a real— I'm not some guy or a lady that woke up one morning and slapped the word apostle on their chest and decided they were going to be an apostle. I'm talking about an apostle that has, oh my God, some rank in the spirit, because one, they have discovered who the Father really is. She's impossible to be an authentic apostle and you don't have a relationship with the one that sent you. Oh my God, because the apostle is a sent one. So you need someone that's actually been sent. Oh my God, oh my God, you, you have to have a connection to someone that has been sent. Listen to me, listen to me. This is why many times what we do, we will achieve fleshly success. And we don't see real harvest coming into our life, our ministry, our business, our family, because we don't have the connection. Every person needs an apostolic culture of some kind in their life to help cultivate them in continuity. Ah, you know why? Let me give you a case in point. 1 Kings— I'm trying to get out of here, guys. 1 Kings Case in point. Touch yourself and say, I got the grace to finish. I want you to say it out loud. Touch yourself and say it out loud. Type it in the comments. I have the grace to finish. I have the grace to finish. I have the grace. Those of you that are online, I see people on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook. You're on 3 of our Facebook pages. They're watching everywhere. But I need you to touch yourself and say, I have the grace. Oh my God, to finish. Oh my God. You have the grace to finish. Guess what? Finish, finish, because Jesus finished the work already. You just got to tap into the blueprint. Oh God. Can I tell you something? What God is doing in the earth now and in your life, can I announce this to you prophetically? It is more than a movement. Yeah, God. Movements often become monuments. They stopped at some point moving. But what is happening now is more than a move of God. It's more than a, oh my God, esh kete bams kete buska taya. Brisca la mandolo boko. Risca mansa taba. It's more than a movement. There's a difference in a movement and a finished work that's born out of continuity. Because, because the movement stops in seasons. Continuity toward the finished work never It never stops. Watch this, it keeps going even in the heritage I talked about earlier of those that are connected to your assignment. Oh my God, yes God, yes God, yes God. It's more than a move. Watch this. Why? Why, Michael Lyris Woods? Why? Because the movement, hear me, is more Ah, it's more temporary and it's not necessarily generational. I need you to hear this. What God wants from the fivefold ministry is not a temporal fix. It is important that we understand how the assignment or the blueprint for our life is generational. Watch this. A movement is not long-term. Again, it's short-term. A movement has a way of impacting— hear this— certain areas of society, even the human race. But again, it's temporary. Movement often begin explosively. Yeah, watch this. But they end less dramatically than they started because the people in the movement, uh, have not been trained for continuity. See, you can have one man that has a movement in him. Uh-oh! Oh my God, I just touched something! I just touched something! You can have a man like a Bishop Mason that has a movement in him. You can have a man like a William J. Seymour that has a movement in him. You have a great pastor that had a movement in him. But if the people connected to the movement are not trained for continuity The movement dies with the man. Lord have mercy, Jesus Christ. Oh my God. The movement dies with the man, and that's not the will of the Father. Listen, a finished work is the long-term, well-developed— watch this— generational operation. I wrote this down. That keeps the momentum and the productivity— watch this— because the participants are trained for continuity. That's why you got to be trained. That's why you can't despise training. You got to be trained for continuity. Hallelujah. So, so you can keep going and then you could impart to others continuity so they— God, I'm running out of time— so they can keep going. Listen, no single generation or group can keep up the fight externally. So people within the process of the— oh my God— finished work, people who are operating in continuity they end up developing— hallelujah— systems that open up the door for survivability in the future. Listen, let me use an example to illustrate this, cousin. I got— I gotta go. I got so much to share. Let me use this example. If you ever been in the choir— I couldn't sing, but I was in the choir coming up, right? But there was something in the choir called— my wife could tell you a lot about this— She's a choir master. Uh, the long note, glory to God, and it is sung by church— some church choirs. It is one of those notes that seem to go on and on and on into eternity. I've seen choir directors put the choir in the long note, go downstairs in the basement in the fellowship hall, keep them in the long note while he's down there, come back up, take them out of it. And it's just, it's continuity. Listen, and you, you sitting there saying, how in the world they do that? How they hold— my wife is an excellent soprano singer, and you, and I'm always saying, good God Almighty, uh, how does she hold those notes? How does she get up that high? Because I, I've come to learn, as I've learned more about singing, that there's a trick even in the choir. That when they're holding those long notes, it's, it's a breathing technology. Glory to God. Everybody ain't holding the long note the whole time. They're, they're, they're, they're giving signals. They're, they're giving one another rest so they can breathe. Oh my God, listen. And only a few people in the choir actually have breath control. Yeah, so What am I saying? You need synergy inside of your purpose, inside of your blueprint, with people who can help you breathe, who can help you when you don't feel like going any further, when you feel like quitting. Because let me tell you something, if you're in anything and you never wanted to quit it, you ain't in much. But people who But people, listen to me, who are really inside of the blueprint and living out the purpose, there's gonna be days you ain't gonna do it. But when you got support and the culture that's constantly and prophetically driving you towards your end, it's impossible to quit. I gotta go, man. My time almost gone. I don't— held y'all too long, man. All right, let me give you a few principles of what continuity looks like really quick, right? So here's a breakdown of what a finished work, a successful work, looks like. And here are the elements of continuity that must be embraced in order to finish, in order to have this successful work. I'm gonna try to give you this in 10 minutes. So as that choir has different people that have different breathing strength, I need you to hear me. God bless you, Prophet Walker. God bless you, Pastor Wilson. God bless you, my wife, Lady Felicia. God bless all of you that are on here tonight, even those of you that watch from other countries on YouTube. Listen, I, I want you to hear this. 1 Corinthians 3, verse 10 and 14. I'm gonna read it one more time because every one of you have a grace. Watch this. According to the grace of God which is given to me as a wise master builder— listen to this text— I have laid the foundation, another build thereon. Verse 14, if any man's work— listen— abide which he have built thereupon he shall receive— hear me— he shall receive a reward. Now let me give you a breakdown of what this looked like. Continuity must have each one of these elements in order for it to be classified as a successful work or a finished work. I'll learn in the text first, and you can write these down. The first one is grace. Paul said, according— symphaneo— symphony is where that word comes from. Symphaneo— according, in alignment, accord to the grace, not outside of it, but becoming one with the grace. Hear this. Oh boy. That was given to me. So I will tell each of you, like the Apostle Paul, there's a grace that has been given you. Grace, charis in Greek, is the supernatural endowment. Listen to me, it's not just for the forgiveness of sin. That's not— we, matter of fact, God never really intended for us to spend all our time trying to excuse ourselves from sin with grace. Grace is supernatural endowment or empowerment in purpose and power. You should be using your charis on being empowered to fulfill your purpose, to move in the power and the anointing of the blueprint of your assignment. I gotta get out of here, man. I got 7 minutes. Listen, It is the ability— this is what grace is, listen— to do— oh, help us God— to do what has never been done in the past. See, this is what— when the grace really shows up, it gives you the ability to do what has not been done in the past. Watch this. When you make history with God in grace, he'll allow you to make history in public. We're doing it backwards. We're trying to make history in public. We're trying to be popular. We're trying to get likes. Y'all not talking to me. We're trying to get followers. When God says Make history with me in my grace. Hallelujah! Make history with me. Glory to God! And you will do, ah, what has never been done before. All right, let me keep moving. Is it all in the text? Wisdom. Wisdom is a divine understanding of the plan. Hallelujah! Of the future. So you got a supernatural understanding of the divine plan of the future. That's what wisdom is. It contains— watch this— prophetic sequencing of events according to God's wisdom. See, this is not your personal wisdom. So you get skill and ability assigned— watch this— to your life to accomplish the blueprint and the destiny and the events. Oh my God, Lord have mercy, help us today, Jesus. Glory to God. God help me, Jesus, I'm about to explode. Listen, because God says the events are already finished and there are certain abilities and I— and intellect and talent I'm only going to release to emerge in your life when you tap into the wisdom of the plan and start walking it out. Because wisdom is an action word. It is the application of your ability, the application of revelation, the application of knowledge. Somebody ought to shout wisdom! Listen, that's— you gotta have it. See, when the spirit of continuity shows up, it brings with it grace. And I'm not talking about just to get forgiveness of your sins. I'm talking about, again, to be empowered. Glory to God. With purpose and power. And then it sends wisdom. Glory. Hallelujah. Of the future. It gives you a clear understanding of the future, and it unlocks application Lord have mercy. Help us, God. I gotta get out of here. I gotta get out of here. It's all in the text. Watch this. Foundation. Foundation, which is a legitimate— watch this— relationship with God and his leaders. Oh, okay. So even as an apostle in the Lord's church, I have a leader. I have men that I look to as mentors. Glory to God. I have men that I— and I'm committed to, loyal to my spiritual father, Apostle Donald Graham. I am connected to Apostolic Global Impact with Apostle Stephen A. Davis. I am, glory to God, a student, glory to God, of Dr. Bill Winston. And let me tell you something, before Dr. Myles Monroe died, that was my spiritual father for years. I don't care how anointed you are, you need foundation. Glory to God. I don't care if you can see through muddy water, see through the wall, you need foundation. I don't care if you think you know more than your leader, you need somebody, glory to God, that can help lay a foundation in your life. And you need a legitimate relationship with them. I ain't talking about just a Facebook relationship. You need connection. Oh, oh, I ain't got time. I don't have time. I don't. But just know you are not operating in a spirit of continuity. You cannot have a finished work if there is no foundation, no apostolic foundation, the culture you're in. Watch this, because it is the understanding that is released through legitimate relationship with God and leaders that gives you an understanding of the corporate vision of the church and the kingdom. Most people don't know that because they're not properly connected to God. They go to church, they follow people on social media. Oh my God, oh my God, it's a dangerous time we're in, man. I don't have time. Good God Almighty. It's all in text. Building skill, a master builder. Listen, the leaders, I need you to understand this. That's right, Prophet Walker, we— you, you gotta have a base to go home to. Oh, that, that's powerful, and that's the truth. You got to have foundation. You got to have somebody that's covering you while you're out trying to build what's in the blueprint. And when you get discouraged, you need to pick up a phone and say, hey, this is where I'm at, this is what I'm going through, so they can pray with you, so that they can lead you through that hard space. Oh my God, Jesus, help us today. You need building skills so the leaders and the member or the person that's operating in spiritual continuity cannot construct things properly. Here it is: if they don't have building skill— how do you build a skill? You got to have kingdom principles. Leaders disseminate kingdom principles. Watch this. If you got a blueprint on a natural, natural, natural construction site— hear me— You gotta have a contractor out there. I'm over my time, man. I gotta go. You gotta have someone that's skilled in building what's on that paper to organize the workers to make the construction successful. You, you gotta have a foreman. You gotta have someone that's in charge. You gotta have building skills. You gotta have Hallelujah! The spirit of a learner where you can learn how to build effectively. Oh, building skills. All right, number 5, and this is what we're talking about. You gotta have continuity. Continuity again is the industrious attitude and focus— watch this— on the kingdom of God. It's the industrial— industrious attitude and focus on the kingdom of God, which means you have made up in your mind your kingdom and your kingdom all the way. And watch this, nothing is going to stop you from being kingdom. Lord, I got to get out of here, man. I gotta go, y'all. I gotta go. Good God Almighty. Oh yeah, I gotta go. Listen, number 7, and it's in the text, reward. It's the harvest— watch this— for remaining dedicated and faithful to the plan and sticking with continuity. Let me pray, man. God, I'm done, I'm done. I can't— I got so much. I, I'll teach this some more this week, man. I— listen, we gotta have continuity in our life. We cannot quit, we cannot give up, even when it gets hard, even when it gets tough. We gotta decide that we're gonna go all the way. Amen. Amen. Father, I thank you for your people. I pray in the name of Jesus— come on, Jesus— that nothing will stop them from being consistent. I declare now that there will be no unbroken chains. Hallelujah. And that they will leave a heritage and a legacy in their lives. I decree and declare, God, that the spirit of continuity will be released on their life right now in the name of Jesus. And I thank you that as you release the spirit of continuity, it will affect their finances, it would affect their ministries, it would affect their projects, it would affect their businesses, it would change the way they view how they do things. I'm praying for somebody now, God, that needs a relationship with you, a legitimate relationship, that needs apostolic culture and connection. Father, give that to them in the name of Jesus. I praise you and I give you glory and honor for it now. In Jesus' name I pray, amen, and thanks be to God. Listen, I need every person watching live or by replay, I need you to sow a seed into ministry. Listen, there are some things God has put in my heart to do to finish this year strong. Uh, he has told me, number one, I have a heart for my state. I believe that the people of God need to be exposed to the apostolic like never before, authentic apostles with miracle signs and wonders following. Also with the unique teaching anointing to empower people toward continuity. So God has put into my heart throughout our state, listen to me, for the month of October, November, December, we're going to have what we're calling, glory to the name of God, Apostolic Thrust. We're gonna take meetings throughout the state in the coming months. I need your help to help us to do this. We have to rent venues, we have to staff it. We wanna make sure our volunteers are taken care of. We wanna make sure that the meeting is well— meetings are well attended. We're gonna kick it off in Atlanta. We're gonna take it to Newnan, Georgia, LaGrange, Georgia. We're going to take this thing and then we're gonna continue this even into 2023, but we're gonna kick it off in the state of Georgia Glory to God. Closing this year out, and we're going to empower entrepreneurs. We're going to give away finances and resources to help people in their business ventures. Listen, it's going to be a Saturday morning at 10, a Saturday night at 6, and then a Sunday night at 6, and we're gonna have a blast in the Lord in these three meetings. Plant your seed in good ground today. The ways to give are on the screen. Glory to God, and expect a miracle as you give. Praise God. Hallelujah. Rhoda Church is our Cash App. Go online. Glory to the name of God. RhodaChurch.com is right there, forward slash donate, and get your seed in the ground. I love y'all so much, man. Y'all pray for me. I'm in Birmingham, Alabama again. I'm here this week, these 3 days, to take the position of a learner. And listen, I'm looking to receive from the Lord. Y'all be blessed. Heaven smile on you is my prayer. Peace. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. We give you praise, God. We give you glory and we give you honor. Thank you, Jesus.
