Apostolic Hubs, Part 1 | Dr Mike Woods | 19 APR 26

In this extended sermon Dr. Mike Woods shares a vivid prophetic dream that illustrates the danger of unclear identity and the need for the church to be fully attentive to God’s voice. He argues that when God communicates through dreams it signals a lack of spiritual focus while awake. The dream depicts a congregation confronting resistance, threats, and even suicide when members reject the truth, underscoring that identity in the Kingdom is the battlefield against the enemy. Woods then defines an “Apostolic Hub” as a center of equipping, sending, and revival that must be led by apostles. He explains the five‑fold ministry (apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers), emphasizing the apostle’s unique authority as a God‑sent sent‑one whose governance validates and empowers the other gifts. The hub’s three core functions are: (1) helping believers discover their God‑given assignment, (2) developing that assignment through proper training and mentorship, and (3) deploying equipped believers into the world. He warns that clarity of identity invites spiritual warfare, but also brings divine strength, “force,” and provision to the weary, citing Isaiah 40:29. Woods shares a vision of rapid expansion—new land, buildings, financial blessings—while repeatedly stressing that success is not measured by size, wealth, or human power but by God’s spirit and the fulfillment of each person’s assignment. The sermon concludes with a passionate plea for the congregation to prioritize God above all external trappings, promising that the hub will provide the spiritual resources needed for the coming breakthrough.
Chapters
And, um, you know, let me say something about the dream dimension really quick. It's a prophetic dimension, but it's not the preferred way that God desires to speak to you. Got quiet right there. If God has to talk to you in a dream It means he can't get your attention while you are awake. He been— it means he's been trying to get your attention about something while you awake in prayer or in worship or even doing your kingdom assignment, and you just have missed it. So he puts you to sleep. Okay, y'all don't believe it. It's biblical. In the Bible, God had been trying to talk to Joseph about Nebuchadnezzar. Joseph was doing everything except listening. Are y'all hearing this? So he put him to sleep and spoke to him. Not Joseph, Daniel. He put him to sleep. Daniel put him to sleep and told him about the king. Yeah, yeah. So I don't want you to— because a lot of times people think because they're dreamers that there's some deep thing about them. Okay, no, that's another sign that you just ain't spending enough time. So when God— first of all, when I dream something prophetic, it alarms me because I very seldom dream, because I spend enough time with the Lord for him to talk to me. I open my ear. So he knows whatever he want to say to me, I'm, I'm open to it. But this particular dream was interesting because every person connected to this church was in it. And I was up teaching like this, and it's very seldom on a Sunday or Thursday that all of us are here, but the dream was a miracle in itself. 'Cause all of us was here. All right, praise the Lord. Everybody was in the building, and I can distinctively see every face. And I was teaching about sin and about missing the mark and about coming into alignment with God. And actually walking out who he says we are. And one person yelled out— I won't call their name, um, but they're part of this body— they yelled out, my God, if I gotta do all of that, I'll never make it. And they begin to weep. And immediately I stopped teaching and went to them and began to pray for them. And the Lord said in a dream, take your hands off of them. He said, that's a cry for attention. He said they refuse to align, so they keep crying out for attention because they don't want to really accept who they are. Because a lot of times we think we can pout our way into deliverance. And you really can. You just got to be delivered. You got to accept that there's some stuff jacked up that you need to be free from and be delivered. But then when I, when I, when I backed up off of the person, the Lord said, and that applies for the whole house. And then in the dream, I kept teaching, and then we got through. We prayed for people like we normally do. People were crying out to God. We left the church, and the whole church, all of us, went to this restaurant, and we sitting down in this restaurant eating. And the person that I was laying hands on came in last. And had recruited about 3 or 4 people and came up to me and said, Apostle, God's grace is sufficient for us, and that stuff you teaching is not correct. And I'm telling you right now, if you don't change it, I'm not coming back. And normally in me, I probably would say, okay, don't come back then. That just would have been me, right? But in the dream, the Lord had me say to them, sit down, I need to speak to you. And I sat them down, and everybody was listening as I spoke to this person, and they still was rejecting the wisdom I was giving them. So much so, the— watch this— this spirit was so strong that it started permeating to everybody at the table. Now everybody started rejecting truth. One person even said, I can't take it no more, ran outside, committed suicide in the dream. Oh my God. Had pills in their purse, went outside, took all the pills, died right there in front of the restaurant. Two people with guns came in the restaurant while I was talking, pointed the guns at me, and same thing, if you don't stop teaching this, we're going to kill you. I kept teaching. They shot me dead. I woke up and that thing troubled me. My wife would tell you I did nothing yesterday. As pretty as it was, I wanted to go play golf. I could not do nothing. That thing troubled me. And so I'm just walking around and the Lord says this dream was about identity. He said Everybody connected to you needs to be totally clear of who they are. And watch this, and what they are not. And what our assignment is. Warfare many a times happens when we don't know who we are. That's it. You'll back down off what God says when you ain't clear about who you are. Amen. Can I tell you something? The enemy does not often fight those who have clarity about who they are and where they're going. Are y'all hearing this? He understands that if you really know who you are, you really in God, I don't even waste my time with that. Because the idle mind is the devil's workshop. Okay, so your idleness opens up a door for him to come in. So we got to be clear. Say that with us: I got to be clear about who I am. Come on, say it again. I gotta be clear about who I am. It's important because your identity in the kingdom is what shifts the world. And what God has done with this church— y'all say, how does this connect with the dream? Because this church has to really be clear. We're not here just to be another church. I said this a few weeks ago and I just kind of hit it because I said you need to go back and teach really what apostolic hubs are because we need to understand our identity. First of all, you can't come in here and compare us to nobody else. You can't come here and say, oh, this worship ain't like New Birth, the worship ain't like 2819. No, it ain't. The word ain't like other church. No, it's not. It ain't as many people. No, it's not, because that's not what we're called to. We're going to see in a minute. Let's look at what apostolic hubs are. Put it on. So apostolic hub is a center— say a center— of equipping, sending, and revival that is led by an apostle. You can be a hub, but if there's no apostle or apostolic people there, it's not an apostolic hub. To be apostolic means that, that pertains to the work of apostles. So if it's apostolic, that means apostles are around and involved. So this is why we do a lot of teaching in this church, is to equip you, is to get you ready for what you are called to do. Apostles, apostolos in Greek, which means a sent one. Say sent one. So an apostle cannot be consecrated, it cannot— he cannot be ordained by man, he cannot be chosen by man. An apostle is sent by God. When man lays hands on an apostle, it is simply an affirmation of what God already spoke. Now, there are a lot of people who have called themselves apostles. Are y'all hearing this? Let me show an example. Uh, glory to God. So let me use it for example. This Apostle Asia is uniquely an apostle. She knew this before she came to me and said, 'Pastor, I want you to affirm me as an apostle.' She knew who she was. And watch this, God had already confirmed it in me who she was. And, and we proceeded only to seal what God said. And watch this, now if anybody goes against that, what God said, They go against what God said. They're not going against her, they're going against what God said. They're not going against the company of apostles that lay hands on her, they're going against what God said. If anyone opposes truth that God has called me to preach or teach, you're not going against me. You're going against God, because to be apostolic means that you are sent by God. Say sent. Also, the people connected to apostles are sent ones. That's why you have to be equipped so you can be sent. It's called apostolic hegemony, which means whatever the authority you're called to walk in. The apostle equips you to walk in it, and whatever you walk in, even if you're not an apostle, the weight of the apostle's government seals your assignment, and that same power and authority to complete the assignment goes with you. Are y'all here? Which means a pastor could not do that for you, because a pastoral church is a church that is shepherded by a pastor who teaches the word. Pastors and teachers— you can literally take 'and' out. A pastor should always be a teacher. So a pastor is constantly teaching the word, leading people to maturity in the things of God and the word. There's no deploying there. Don't y'all think it's strange when people just come through here when we have meetings, or they come here when we have, uh, you know, guest speakers who are apostles, or they come here on a Sunday night or Thursday night when they're visiting? It's because they're in a pastoral church. And what they have not realized yet is there's something in them that that pastor cannot cultivate. Okay, that, that's why all the fivefold ministries are needed. Matter of fact, let's go to Ephesians 4 real quick. I ain't even had it in my notes, so it ain't up there, Mario, but let's go. Hallelujah. Y'all with me so far? Okay, so Ephesians 4:10, I'm gonna start there. It says, he who descended— this is Jesus, so when he died, he descended before he ascended— is the very same as he who also ascended high above the heavens. That he, his presence, might fill all things, the whole universe, from the lowest to the highest. So the purpose of the descension before the ascension— watch this— many times when you apostolic, things get worse before they get better. But can I tell you, better is coming. But God takes you through the worst so you can understand. Glory to the name of God. Hallelujah. That you are designed to fill the whole earth with your assignment and his presence that's going to flow out of you. So, so you go through seasons of descent and— oh my God, this is so real. Every time I've been elevated in an area It always got worse first. It always got hard first. Listen, you would not believe if I told you, and I'm not, some of the things I have been up against when we start talking about Rudder City, start talking about moving to this new place, because that's another level of ascent for what God's going to do with us, because ownership is spiritual. That's why God says possess the land, not rent the land. Possess it, own it. So ownership is spiritual. So we're about to own 3060 Boulder Crest Road, but the enemy doesn't want that ascent that's going to come behind that. Are y'all hearing this? Because he know shortly after that is going to follow testimony of how we paid it all in 12 months. Of souls that's going to be saved, of a community that's going to be transformed because of all of the space we're going to have. And then behind that is coming around our city. So he says, I gotta send an attack. Are y'all hearing this? I gotta try to— so that's why I gotta keep doors closed and not be idle so he can't get in and his attack won't be affected. But God will allow something because he's getting ready to bring forth ascension. Touch yourself, say, we're about to ascend. Yeah, we're about to go to another place. Hallelujah, we're about to go to another dimension. So he descended so that the whole universe, the whole world, from the lowest to the highest. And verse 11 says, and he gave varied gifts to men, and he appointed these gifts to us. I'm reading out the Amplified. Some to be apostles, some prophets and expounders, some evangelists, some— oh my God— some missionaries, some pastors, some shepherds and teachers. I'm gonna go back to that, but his intention was the perfecting of the saints. And the full equipping of the body of Christ. So we have these 5 gifts to perfect. Say perfect. The word perfect is teleios in Greek. It means maturity. It means completion. So back to my point, when people come by and they don't ever join, but they come by because it's something they need, because they done got frustrated sitting under that pastor Because that gift now is not being cultivated, it's not being developed, because all pastor doing is giving them 3 life points. Are y'all hearing this? How to keep your blood pressure down, how to, how to do this. That's all the pastor's doing, not challenging the gift and cultivating the gift. But all 5 of these gifts should work together. Which means pastors ought to have enough sense. I don't carry what the Apostle carries. Are y'all hearing this? That's why we're developing pastors in this church, because it's not my job to pastor you. Some of y'all be saying, well, why I can't just call Apostle when I ain't coming or doing it? And why I gotta call? Because we're developing pastors. Are y'all hearing this? The reality is everybody has unique function that causes perfection. So the pastor ought to be able to say, okay, I got some leaders here that need apostolic impartation, let me send them here. Are y'all hearing this? Even if they never join, if they never bring a tithe. But pastor ought to say, okay, Apostle, I know I'm a pastor, you're an apostle. Let them sit there for a season. Are y'all hearing this? This— okay, I just read, he said he gave all 5, right? First apostle. Why apostles first? Because first in rank, paraiso in Greek, order. That's what first means. The apostle is like the thumb. He could touch all fingers. The apostle can touch— he could touch the prophet who points into the future. He could touch the evangelist, which is the longest finger which extends into the world. He can touch the pastor who's married to the church. He can touch the pinky, which is the teacher that brings balance. So the apostle touches every single gift. So every gift ought to work in collaboration with apostolic ministry. You shouldn't be a renegade prophet and you just running around the country prophesying it. That's why we got these crazy prophets out here, because they have no apostolic connection. Okay, y'all know it's some crazy prophets out here, some crazy ones. I don't even deny they're prophetic, but the prophetic be on point. But at the end of the day, they're unbalanced because they have no apostolic government in their life, because the apostle needs to touch that and help them balance it and bring government and submission to it. Oh boy, are y'all quiet in this church? I'm trying to find my people this morning because God is saying, I'm trying to not only point you where you're going through the prophet, I need that place to be stable. I needed to last, and that comes through apostolic governing. The evangelist— now watch this— the evangelist operates outside of the church, but he doesn't operate without the apostle. He shouldn't. I'm going to take you deep. Evangelist Billy Graham, honestly one of my favorite people because he truly was an evangelist. But here's what I know about Billy Graham. He wasn't a prophet. He knew that, and he never tried to prophesy. He knew his purpose. He wasn't an apostle. He knew that. But watch this, he stayed connected to men who had apostolic government. He was always submitted to authority. That's why he can go into a city and be trusted by a pastor. From all denominations, because those pastors were under bishops and apostles that said, trust Billy Graham, he's coming to win souls for the city and your church is going to benefit. Billy Graham has preached to more people than any human that has ever lived. It's a historical fact. Now I know, uh, people like Reinhard Bonnke has preached to a million people at one time by having these satellite things in Africa. But the reality is Billy Graham has preached to more people face to face than any other person. You know why? Because he stood in his grace. He stood in his fivefold call, the evangelist. So say, we're all necessary. That's all I wanted to make on this. And I wanted to make a few points there. You don't go to evangelism crew— Billy Graham evangelistic crusade to hear him give you revelation on tongues, you ain't gonna get it. He gonna preach about Jesus. He understood what it meant, Apostle, to stay in his lane. Oh, I need the body to grab that, because what we do is we see people doing something, and because the grace on their life makes it look easy We sign up for it and say, okay, if he's an apostle or she's an apostle or he's a prophet, well, I guess I'm gonna prophesy too. And that's why we got all these crazy prophets out here. But we got to be equipped, and that's what hubs do. If something is not equipping you it will ultimately stalemate you. Glory. Let me tell you what a stalemate is. If you ever played chess, a stalemate is a point where two pieces are on the board, they're your opponent and yours, or you got one piece and then the other person is chasing you and they never can put you in check. The game is never over. Are y'all hearing this? The strategy has run out and you can no longer capture the thing you've been chasing after because you're stalemated. Yeah, can't go no further. Again, that's when people— I'm telling you, they realize it's mature of them to realize You know, I'm just ain't getting what this guy teaching now. It's not helping me forward, so let me go over here where I can get something that's going to stir this gift. Are y'all hearing this? I'm just going to tell you the truth. That's why you see them, and for whatever reason, they won't officially connect. Because they want the status connected to where they are. Okay, y'all ain't got to say nothing here. So they want to hold on to the status. Okay, and I'm gonna keep my tie here, but I'm really getting fed here. Okay, I'm, I'm going home after this, okay? But you got to make sure that you're being equipped and not a stalemate, because there are some people that are sitting in places, stalemated, don't know which way to go, don't know which way to turn, are not clear about— that's it, Minister Anderson. Like those lepers, why sit you here and die? You know you dying. Okay, let me move, let me move. So let's— so to understand this house, right, we got to understand Apostolic Hubs. Enough introduction, let's get into this. First thing, keep it right there: Apostolic Hubs exist to help individuals discover their assignment. I need more in the house so I don't have to feel like I'm yelling. Just give me a little more. Can you give me a little more? Just slide it. Yeah, there you go. All right, say Apostolic Hubs help individuals discover their assignment. So you're here even if you already know your assignment. For discovery. This church is here to help you discover your assignment. Your assignment. And we're going to do assignment refresher because I don't want nobody walking up me with no enemy walk because that man with that gun is the enemy trying to take me out. Here's what the Lord told me. He said, your church and you are on the devil's hit list. He said the devil is a hitman and Rider Church is on the hit list. Can I tell you something? There's a hit out on us. I'm just telling you right now. And, and I've been observing, some of you've been picking it up as you've been doing intercessory prayers, different ones, Pastor Jeffrey and others. The hit that's coming, the hit that's already occurring. The enemy is afraid of where we're going. Glory! Just know somebody said, we're going somewhere. So we're here. So long as we know his assignment can't work as long as we're in alignment. You're here to learn Your assignment, which is the problem you are created to solve. Everything in life solves a problem. This church solves a problem. It solves hub problems. I told you a hub is a center point. In the natural, airlines have hubs. The hub for Delta is Atlanta. Are y'all hearing this? If you ain't in Atlanta trying to fly somewhere, 9 times out of 10 you coming through Atlanta. What happens in the hub? The planes are equipped, the planes are repaired, the staff is paid. Are y'all hearing this? In the hub, glory to God, they make sure all the safety features are working on the plane. In the hub, all of the logistics for all of the flights, the air traffic controllers abide in the hub. Are y'all hearing this? So in the hub, there's discovery about your assignment. Watch it again. It's the problem you're created to solve. Say this, say, somebody needs me. That's the truth. Somebody needs you. You're here to solve a problem. You, your heart is beating because there's a problem you got to solve. There are people you got to touch. There are people you got to help. Apostolic Hub should be helping you discover that. You should be coming into clarity about why you're here. Listen, everything solves a problem. Your nose solves small smell problems. Take your nose off, you ain't smelling nothing. Your ears solve hearing problems. Your mouth solves speech problems, taste problems. Your eyes solve sight problems. Your feet solve walking problems. Your hands solve touch problems. Everything, just like your body, in the body of Christ solves a problem. You got to discover what that is. This house is designed for that. Amen. That's why I'll be stretching some of y'all, because you don't understand. You will never really do it unless you got stretched. Some of y'all just come to church because that pastor, all he would do is let you come. So it's different. You get stretched, you get more responsibility, it requires more sacrifice, but it's because of this assignment. Secondly, Apostolic Hubs help you develop your assignment. Oh boy, say this when we say development is important. So once you discover who you are and why you are here on earth, it's not enough just to know that information, because some people take the information, Sister Bird, and they run with the information. Okay, I discovered I'm a prophet. I say run out, start prophesying. Side. Okay, no, let's back up. Let's get developed in the prophetic. Are y'all hearing this? So that you will be effective as a prophet. Apostolic hubs exist so you don't have to learn on the job. That's right. So then you don't have to bump your head along the way. I've been listening to Felicia talk to my grandson. He's 18 months, so he runs, he'd be touching everything. And I'll be like, don't let him touch that stove, it's hot. She said, I ain't telling him no more. He touch it one good time, I bet he won't touch it again. Y'all don't call the 800 number on her. I'm like, baby, come on in here because we don't want you to get burned. But we don't want you to learn like that. We want you to get developed because sometimes there's no recovery from that kind of instruction. Are y'all hearing this? Improper development can kill you. It could kill your gift. It could kill your longevity. So hubs develop the assignment. Touch your belly and say, develop me, Lord. Oh boy, I love that. Thank you, Holy Spirit. The scriptures say this To whom he calls, he qualifies. That does not mean you qualify because you're called. The word qualified in the Greek said whom he called, he trains. Whom he calls, he develops. So he don't just call you and say, get out there and start doing. Whom he called, he develops. He trains. Thirdly, we exist to help individuals deploy their assignment. Again, that's the sending anointing of an apostolic house. We send you out. An apostolic house is not here to hoard over you. Are y'all hearing this? I believe, glory to God, that this church will grow, but I believe we'll always be deploying people. I was riding back from Savannah last week and the Lord started talking, because while I was— the whole time I was down, the Lord was talking about Savannah. So he said, okay, this is one of the— another hub you need to plant in Savannah. Well, you already know all I'm gonna do is plant it. That's all gonna happen, but we're gonna develop somebody here and deploy them to lead it. Are y'all hearing this? Then as I was coming through, he said also making. You need to put one in making. So we're gonna always be— and watch this, I want us to get strong enough Well, not only will we deploy the individual and their wife, or just the individual, but we deploy a whole team with them to run that ministry. Are y'all hearing this? That's what hubs do. You come through to get to the next destination. Touch your belly and say, deploy me, Lord. Say, here am I, send me. Say, wherever you tell me to go. See how I'm going? Yeah. All right, go to Isaiah 40:29. The Bible says he gives strength to the weary. So I'm just going to prophetic— prophetically plow through these last verses, okay? Because God wants us to understand as a hub We're here to provide strength to the weak. Are y'all hearing this? Can I prophesy to somebody this morning that by virtue of the fact— if you're live, hear my voice. I don't know if the camera's recording. Looks like— I don't see the red light. It's recording. I don't see the red light. I'm, I'm worried, but I believe you. Glory to God. Touch your belly. Say, he makes the weak strong. So whether you're watching me live or by replay, or you're in this building hearing my voice, let me prophesy to you right here that God is making you strong. Even while I'm talking, God says, don't you give up. He said to tell you, I know it's hard, I know the challenges have been much, I know you've been carrying another weight, but God said to tell you, don't give up. I came to give strength to the weary. Matter of fact, that says I know you're tired. So the assignment of an Apostolic Hub— I'm trying to find my people— God says you're supposed to come to the house and find strength. You shouldn't come to church and feel worse than you felt before you got here. You should never have to go to a church and you feel beat up. And down when you leave. God said no. A hub is designed is to give you another wind, to give you a second breath so you can keep going. I wish I had somebody here that made up your mind, I'm not gonna quit, but I'm gonna keep going because it gives strength to the weary. I don't know about you, but there's been times in my life I wanted to give up, I wanted to stop, I wanted to quit. I wanted to throw in the towel and say, I ain't doing this no more. But every time I threw in the towel, God threw it back and said, you can't quit, you can't give up, you can't stop. He throws the towel back. Can I tell somebody this morning? God says, I'm throwing the towel back. I don't know who the weary person is, but God says, I'm throwing the tower back. Because I give strength. Wait a minute, watch this. Just, just hit somebody and say, give strength to the weary. Good God from Zion. I got to get out of here. Glory to God, because I'm getting too happy. But just, just say it again. Say, he gives strength to the weary. Good God. Somebody said, well, maybe, maybe it just ain't showed up for me yet. I'm telling you, it's coming. And I'm telling you, if you will posture yourself to receive it— this word strength, watch this, is kowak in Hebrew, which means he gives force. He gives force and forces to the weary. Force is resources. Force is an army behind you. Are y'all hearing this? Force— sometimes you can have force without manpower. You ain't got to have a bunch of people to have force. Same word, roach, here is the same word when God says, I'll send you the forces of the Gentiles. The word forces is also wealth. Ah God, so watch this. God says, some of you tired of your money situation. I, he says, I'm about to give you force. He said, I'm tired of waiting on this breakthrough. I'm tired of waiting on this blessing. I've been giving, I've been faithful, I've been trusting God. God says, I'm giving you force. I wish I had somebody receive the force. See, you've been trying to fix it yourself, trying to work 5 jobs like a Jamaican and make it work out. God says, no, I'm sending you force. I'm sending you force. I'm sending you force, force, force, force. Money is coming to the weary. Yeah, yeah, I'm trying to find my people. He says, give strength to the weary. I love this. Not only is it force, it's fruits, it's power, it's substance, it's wealth, it's military strategy. Oh God, so many times we're weary because we're trying to strategize on our own, but God says, I'm giving power, wealth, and strategy and force to the weary. Watch this. And to them that have no might— this is the King James— he increases strength, he increases the power. are y'all hearing this? Of the weary and the weak. So not only is he gonna send you forces, but this is just saying, I'm gonna give you double what I said I'm gonna do. I'm gonna make sure you got enough. And that's what Apostolic Hubs do— reassure you with the equipment and the tools Oh God, that you have enough to defeat what the world is presenting. Watch this. It would appear that the church is losing. When you look at the world, it appears that we're losing. Now I have to admit, we've lost some battles, but I'm here to tell you this morning, the tide has turned and God's about to raise his church up. Isaiah 40:29 suggests that there's about to be a shift in power. Those of us who have been weak, we are about to have the strength. See, seemingly all of the billionaires are worldly men and the multi-millionaires are worldly men, but God says, I'm about to give strength to the weak. Seems like— watch this— doctors and Pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies carry the power of healing. God says through Apostolic Hubs, I'm about to show the world that my healthcare system cannot fail. Amen. There was a woman with an issue of blood. She was sick for a long time. And the Bible says she heard that Jesus was passing by. I said, if I could just touch the hem of his garment, I'll be well. She had some issues of blood, issues of life. Life is in the blood, so she has some issues of life. But if I can just touch Jesus 'Cause the doctors have failed. My money has run out. Y'all hearing this? My friends have walked away. But if I can touch— I wonder if there's somebody hearing me right now that understands that Jesus is passing by. And if you can just touch him, he'll make cancer whole. If you could just touch him, he'll heal diabetes. If you could just— I didn't say touch Michael Woods, but Apostolic Hubs makes sure that Jesus is in the house. So when you come to the Hub, all you got to do is touch Jesus, and I promise you, if you touch Jesus, he will touch you back. Oh, y'all ain't got to hear me this morning, but if you touch Jesus, he'll touch your back. I ain't talking about building a cancer center, building a hospital. I'm talking about coming to the place where Jesus is and touching the hem of his garment so he can make you whole. Just say, I gotta touch him, I gotta touch him. See, our dependency has been on everything else we've been, but God says it's run out. He's passing by. Can you touch the hem of his garment? He said, if you do, you'll be whole. Because I'm giving power to the weak, I'm giving strength to the weary. I'm gonna do for you what you thought could never be done. I dare you, prophesy to your neighbor and say, neighbor, tell them God's about to do what you thought could never be done. Come on, I need you to prophesy to him again and say, God's about to do what you thought could never be done. Now find you somebody else and say, hey, Did you hear what I told them? Tell them God's about to do what you thought could never be done. I dare you, praise God if you're looking for something to happen that's never occurred in your life. It's coming. Okay. Eba ba santa kaya. God, I give you glory. Go to Zechariah. I'm almost done. This is my last scripture. 4 and 6. Hallelujah. Said never been done. That means you ain't never seen it before. You thought it could never happen for you. God says I'm getting ready to do it. God's about to do stuff that they told you you too old to have. Your mind been telling you you too old now, you can't do that. The devil is a liar. Shaka, he tried to tell me that all the time. You ain't gonna never build that, you ain't gonna never see that. I say you are lying, the truth ain't in you. God's about to do what you thought could never be done. If Methuselah lived over 900 years, y'all ain't got to talk to me God can supernaturally endow my body to live 1,000 years if I need to, to see the purpose of God to come to pass in my life. Listen, don't mess with me. I'll mess around and be here 1,000 years. Y'all say, Apostle ain't gone yet. Yeah, I'm still here because my purpose is still necessary. That's why in that dream I know the devil can't kill me. The devil can't kill this church. I declare over you, we shall not die but live. No hit the enemy has against us, it's not going to work. No witch, no warlock, no demon, no hindrance, no money, nothing will stop what God has called us to do. We're going up from here. I need somebody to shout, we're going up from here! Y'all didn't hear that? We're going up from here! We're going up from here! Devil, you a liar! You might as well put up your weapons, put up your bullets, put up your lies, put up your discretion, put up your secrets, put up everything, because the blood is against you! This vision shall live and not die. We going to keep preaching truth. We going to keep telling the story that Jesus can empower you to live right. We going to keep preaching holiness, cuz holiness is right. Somebody's wrong. You can listen to these crazy folk telling you, you can live in sin all you want, but the wages of sin is death. But if I live right, eternity belongs to me. I gotta go, I gotta go. Sit, please. Sit. Then he answered and spake to me. I need you to hear this. God wants to say something to you. You've been praying, and this is what Apostolic Hubs do— train your ears in the spirit to hear the voice of God. Do you know how many people who go to church and never heard God speak? He's real. That's why you need to be in environments and cultures where God is speaking. When you were growing up, you learned verbiage and language and etymology by being around other people who were talking, who were communicating. You could tell what was going on because as you grew Your language became clearer. How you heard became clearer. That's why you got to stay in the community. It's not— y'all think I'll be trying to get y'all in church for me? You know what, I wish I can go out on Sundays and play golf. All my golf buddies play on Saturday, Sunday. I can never play on Sunday, so I get to play with them on Saturday. And if possibly some of them can get away during the week, but most of the time never. But I have to be here because I want to make sure not only that you're growing in God— watch this— that I'm growing in the things of the Spirit, because I'm not just here for you to grow, I'm here for me to grow as well. Are y'all here? We need him to speak to us. Prayer should never be one-sided. It's a conversation. It ain't you throwing all these requests to God. Prayer is communication between you and him. It's your earthly license for heavenly interference, because God won't interfere unless you pray. Glory. So just like you got to have a license to fish in certain places— now some of y'all that fish, you just show up at a creek and just pull out your stuff, but there are places you go you got to have a license. And if you don't have one, they will fine you. Okay, you gotta have a license to drive your car. Some of y'all riding dirty right now. I won't call y'all license all the way suspended. I'm not— you get pulled over, you're going straight to jail. You realize they will take you to jail for suspended license, don't you? Please get that ticket. Pay that ticket, please. Just look straight ahead like I ain't talking to you. Pay the ticket. Okay, you, you got the ticket paid anyway. You need license to drive. God says, I need you to invoke your license for me to interfere. You got to use your life because he says, I'm a gentleman. I'm not going to show up in your affairs just because you thinking it. All right, you need to come to me like an inferior to a superior. Use the license I gave you to have fellowship with me, and I'll come in. I'll sup with you, which means I'll converse with you. You. Are y'all hearing this? Something doesn't mean that he gonna sit down and have a filet mignon with you. It means he gonna talk to you. Look these words up. I'm telling you, he gonna sit down. It pays to study your Bible. He, he's gonna sit down with you and converse. Conversations with Jesus. Jesus. Well, that's another book. We need to hear his voice. This is what the world is absent of, a voice from the Lord. But he answered and spoke to me. So your prayers should never just go unanswered. And said, this is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel. He wanted him to know this ain't for nobody else but you, Zerubbabel. Are y'all with me? So there's a word that's just for you. Now watch the significance of this. The word Zerubbabel, his name, Zeru-babel. Zeru means song. Babel, Babylon. Sown in Babylon. Watch this, or sown in persecution, because Babylon represents persecution. Watch this, God will speak to you even in the midst of persecution. As an apostolic hub, persecution will come. Oh boy, didn't he tell you, I'll bless you a thousand times, a thousandfold, a hundredfold in this life with persecution? Yeah, that's the Bible. Persecution comes. Comes. But can I tell you, don't get weary when it comes, amen, because it's just a sign that you're doing something right. Are y'all hearing this? If you ain't getting persecuted, you might ought to check yourself. You're not a threat. Amen. Oh God, what he'll do— God knows I know this so well— if he can't get to you He'll use them closest to you. He'll use your children. He'll use family members. He'll use people you love to get on your nerves and break your focus because persecution is coming, because he's afraid of where you're going. Are y'all hearing this? You get persecuted, one, as an apostolic of— if you are progressing, if the enemy sees you making progress, persecution often shows up. So don't think it's strange that persecution has arisen. It's because progress is happening in your Secondly, you get persecuted. Here we go. Because of purpose. Because you are clear about the assignment. So the enemy says, okay, they clear about their assignment, let me try to persecute them and create some distractions. Let me get them distracted. And let me— because the only desire the enemy has in a fight with you is to break your focus. He really don't have no other desire, because if he realized, if I can break their focus, get them to stop looking at God, get them to looking at what they're dealing with— can I teach you something right there? You got to learn in the midst of problems to glance at your problem and gaze at God. The problem is they're just glancing. Put your eyes on him. Don't, don't act like just glance. Okay, yeah, I see you. Okay, but I'm gonna keep looking unto Jesus. Why? Because the Bible said, looking unto Jesus, who is the author and finisher of my faith. So if I keep my eyes on the problem, all I'm gonna do is inherit the problem and all that has come to do. But if I look to to Jesus, he'll give me strategy on how to defeat the problem. My God, am I in the right place? You gotta learn how to just glance at that thing. It's okay, I'm gazing at God. Why? Because he is, and the problem is not, but he is. He's the waymaker. The problem may be you're sick. I'm gonna just glance at it, but he is my healer. The problem may be you ain't got enough, but he is the supplier of every need according to his riches in glory. Oh my God, the problem may be your children are rebelling. Oh, but he is— I'm gonna just glance at you, I ain't gonna gaze at you, I'm gonna glance and look over here because as for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord because I know God is going to turn this thing around. So you get persecuted because of progress, purpose, but you also get persecuted as an apostolic hub because of prosperity. When God starts prospering you, your money grows. When you don't— watch this— have a need to pray about money no more. I want y'all to think about that life, what that looks like. Well, you ain't got to pray to him about resources and finance. There was a time in Israel where God was blessing the children of Israel, so Moses had to pray to God, say, please don't give us no more. We got more than enough. That's the kind of prayers you ought to want to pray, that you got too much. Oh God, think about that life. God said, I would above all things that you prosper, be in health even as your soul does prosper. Again, I will prosper for you a hundredfold, a thousand, 10,000% in this life with persecution. The enemy don't want you to keep what you get. That's why he'll try to persecute you. Why does it make you feel guilty about money? I got a friend, he's a very astute businessman, very smart, makes a lot of money. His business, but he's also a pastor. So every time he buys a house or a car, he said, Woods, I can't drive this to church. They'll stop giving if they see me in this. Last year he bought him a brand new Maserati truck, nice truck. He said, man, I want to drive my truck to church so bad. I said, drive it. He said, nah, them niggas gonna think You know that's not the truth, but that's the persecution people will try to bring you if they see you prosper. You ought to want to see your man of God prosper, or your woman of God. Are y'all hearing this? We don't complain when you— if you go to the doctor and he got a Benz outside. Matter of fact, you don't even question his character. And still let him work on you. Nobody goes to the gynecologist and worries about who he was with last night. Y'all ain't got to talk to me anywhere. You said, 'I just need to get this exam done.' But come to church, everybody think, 'Well, who was he with last night? What are you doing?' Come on, man, you ought to want to see the blessing of the Lord. Not just on the man of God, but your brothers and sisters. The Bible said rejoice with them that rejoice. Somebody gets a new car, rejoice. Somebody buys a new house, rejoice. Don't allow that to be a level of persecution that kill the house and divides the house because people are getting blessed. Why are you teaching this, Apostle? Because God's about to bless you guys in such a way I'm telling you right now, you're about to get new land, you're about to see new money, you're about to have new cars, you're about to get new contracts and new businesses. You— oh, y'all ain't got to talk to me here. You're gonna be able to shop in new stores. Some of you gonna rock new purses, some of you are going to know new trips and places you've never been. And I want you to be ready for your brother and sister being blessed so you can rejoice with them that rejoice, so God can trust you when it's time to bless you. My God, my God. Just tell yourself, say, it's mine, I receive it. But watch this, he says, Zerubbabel, it's not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord. Let's back up. Not by might. Here we go. This word is so powerful. Shaiyil in Hebrew. Not by efficiency. Ability. Watch this. Even though he given us the force, it's not by the force. What God's gonna do won't be by the money. He says not by the forces. It's not by the number of people. See, that's why people could come in this little church. They could hear me online talking, how you gonna build Rother City? Why are you buying 33 acres? Why are you buying a new building? You ain't got but a few folk. Just keep the building you got. I was talking to one pastor and I was telling him about— I said, we got the country on the building, God's doing it. And instead of him just kind of saying, okay, that's wonderful, I'm praying for He started telling me, well, you know, I'd watch that, man. Don't get your life tied up in that building. And I'm like, okay, you don't— you just— first of all, you don't even— you ain't even clear on who I really am. So for you to even think that I'm gonna tie me up in what God is doing, that's crazy. This is God's business. It ain't by might. It ain't by the number of people we got. Are y'all hearing this? It ain't about how much we do annually in tithes and offerings. The bank tried to tell me it's about giving units. In order to get a loan, you got to have— you got to have at least 200 giving units, pure million dollars that you try to borrow. How about we ain't got nowhere near that, but we got approved anyway? Because it's not by might. It ain't by might. I know this y'all policy, but here's what we got, and this is our God. Now either you gonna give us this money or we're going somewhere else to get it, cause it ain't by might. Are y'all hearing this? Oh God. Okay, okay. So in your life, stop looking at what you don't have. When God tells you to do something, just do it. Because he's not dependent on your bank account anyway to get it done. Are y'all with me? I need y'all— he ain't thinking about what's in your Bank of America, in your Chase, in your— oh my God— Wells Fargo. He is not worried about that. He says it's not by might, watch this, not by power. Somebody say power. This word in Hebrew deals with manpower. It deals with military power. It deals with weapons of warfare. Ah, glory to God. It deals with human strength. It's not about human strength. So again, we ain't got, in the terms of what people say a mega church is. The terms of what people say a megachurch is, is 5,000 members plus. So if you got 5,000 plus, they say you have a megachurch. Well, according to God, it's not by power. The numbers don't matter when there's an assignment. Men that came from God. If we're apostolic hub with 5 people, y'all ain't got to talk. And all 5 of those people are deployed into the world as billionaires. Why we need 500,000 like Pastor Younghee Cho did in Korea? Again, that goes back to grace. His grace was to pastor. So out of a prayer meeting, he birthed a church, the largest church ever, of 500,000 members. He's gone on to glory now. His sons are running it. The reality is he was a pastor. We can't try to duplicate that because that ain't our grace. Oh, y'all ain't got to say nothing. I can't duplicate what Creflo Dollar has done. Creflo is a pastor. Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. I'm not trying to be Philip Mitchell. I was in Vegas, the lady came on me, said, I'm moving to Atlanta and I done narrowed it down now. Oh Jesus, I'm gonna either be at your church, I'm gonna be at 2819 because I've been looking at 2819 online, but 'Whoo, you got the spirit!' I said, 'Well, where you think you need to be at then?' You heard her say— I told— and I told her, I said, 'Well, if you ain't clear, you might have gone 2019 till you get clear.' Because you— you watch this— you got to understand that God can take little and accomplish a whole lot when it's his will. I'd rather see all of us walk into billionaire status and multi-million dollar status, and we change the region, and we have people coming when we build Rother City from all over the country to— oh my God— to experience the apostolic glory that's on that property and to see God in a different way. And if it's just 25 of us that makes that happen— y'all ain't got to talk to me here. I can preach to y'all 25 every Sunday, and I'll be just as happy when I send Pastor Jeffrey out to pastor at the Rudder Church, or wherever he gonna be, becomes 5,000, 6,000 church strong because he is a pastor. Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. I understand the assignment. It's not by power. It's not by power. I'm done, Pastor Jeff. Just stay right there. Keep me in that pocket. It's not by might, not by power, but by my spirit. So whether we got 10,000 I promise you, I'd rather be in here with God than be at a church that got 5,000, 10,000, 20,000, massive cathedral, and God ain't nowhere to be found. Listen, I'm here today to tell you, just give me God. And I'm telling you, as an apostolic hub, that has to be our result. Just give me God. You got to make up in your mind, y'all can have the rest of this stuff. Just give me God. You can have popularity, you can have clicks and likes. Just give me God. It ain't by might, it ain't by power. You can have pretty, just give me God. See, you got to understand, you ought to want to be in a church where your master mascara run and your eyelashes pop off and your wigs fall off, you ought to want to be in a church where you ain't got to be pretty, where you can come and get before God. Because it's not by might, it's not by power, it's by my spirit. I wish I had somebody to rap back and say, just give me God. Oh Just give me God. Just give me God. Just give me God. In a world where everybody is going after everything, just give me God. Everybody stand, I'm done. Just give me God. Just give me God. That's what I want. I don't have to have the smoke and the mirrors, the lights. Just give me him. Just give me him. When we move to the new building, we won't compromise worship. It'll still be just give us God, just give us you. When we build Rudder City and build the Dominion Dome It'll be just give us God. He be glorified. He be magnified. Lift your hands up, please, and close your eyes. He's here.
