APOSTOLIC SUCCESS | DR MIKE WOODS SR. | THE APOSTLES TABLE | S2 E2 (REPLAY)

Dr. Mike Woods Sr. teaches that true success comes through alignment with apostles, not pastors, because apostles carry governmental authority and kingdom wisdom. He outlines six biblical elements of apostolic success: grace, wisdom, a solid foundation, building skill, continuity across generations, and reward.

Apostolic success. So when we start dealing with this, I need you to be very clear tonight. And, and again, I'm not going to be long, but I want you to be very clear that every believer, okay, every child of God, it is God's will that you have good success. And whether you're watching me tonight live or by replay, I want you to type in the comments, good success. Listen, I need you to put that in the comments, good success. Success. The reality is many believers live beneath their privilege and they never actually achieve good success. And one of the reasons is because, A, where there is authentic apostles, most of the people that align with that apostolic house don't understand really how to receive the apostle's ministry and actually apply what the apostle's ministry is disseminating into their life. Every time an apostle is speaking or teaching, they are actually disseminating governmental authority and imparting kingdom wisdom into you that is apostolic in nature, so that you can go into the world and literally— hear me— have good success. But most people, because they don't know how to receive, because they— watch this— they eat— most people come into an apostolic house and what they end up doing is receiving the apostle— listen to this— just like they would a pastor. Two different offices. Hear me, two different offices. Not the same thing on any day. Okay. An apostle and a pastor, two different entities. Two. I don't have time again. Go back and listen to some of the other teachings about the apostle and apostolic and what it is. But when you're connected and aligned with apostles and everybody in the body of Christ, whether you're pastor by pastor or not, First of all, your pastor ought to have enough sense, number one, to know he's not an apostle. And if he understands clearly that he's called to be a pastor, then he should often expose you as a kingdom citizen to apostolic gifts so you can receive the grace and the government that will cause you again to leave the sanctuary and go into the world, have good success, and be very influential. So you have to receive apostles properly. I want to tell you something. Many times, your success in the kingdom— you can go off and build ladders yourself, create networks, and become fleshly and carnally successful. Hear me? And You could do that without proper alignment. But I want to tell you something, that there's no longevity. And then you actually will never have a sense of kingdom fulfillment. You'll know it because you'll know you did it on your own and you really didn't do it with God. And see, this is the key. Apostles teach you literally how to have vision with God. And not vision outside of God. Do you know how many people in the earth today create vision outside of God? Oh my God, today. And you got to make up in your mind, listen, ladies and gentlemen, that you are not going to create any kind of vision outside of God. So in order to do that You got to align properly with apostles and receive them. And we're going to talk about that tonight because this is key to your success. Watch this. It's the key to your success being sweatless. It's a key to your success. Hallelujah. Coming for— through you following heavenly wisdom that comes through a governmental voice in the person of apostles. All right, so let's deal with this. Apostolic success honestly is a force that's related to the sequence of building. God called apostles wise master builders in 1 Corinthians 3:10, and I'll read that in a moment. But the reality is, so when we look at this, why, why, why sequence? Why a sequence. Why is this a sequence of building? Because sequence deals with order, and, and things have to be done when it comes down to apostles in a certain order. Listen, you can't— you're not apostolic. I want you to understand this: if what's in you doesn't bring order— and I'm talking about order in every situation you find yourself in. Listen, the apostolic in me shifts order not just in the church for me in ministry, but it shifts order for me in the marketplace. It shifts order for me in the mill where things are manufactured and created. It shifts order for me— glory to the name of God— in the municipality. Because at the end of the day, my government is the government of Jesus that flows out of my DNA and my apostolic lineage. And I'm just really tired of looking around, seeing these apostles who call themselves apostles, who say that they are legitimate apostles in the Lord's church. Craziness, foolishness, vain babblings is what it is. Because if the people aligned to you are not being influential— and here's the problem, most of the people aligned to you are not being influential because the reality is you're building a kingdom to yourself and you really have no interest in them flourishing. Ah, imma suru kiska taramande de oshkai. In the things that God has called them to. Lord have mercy. Oh my God. So the success of your life and of an apostolic operation is based on— watch this— succession. So it's really not successful until there is succession. So apostolic success is apostolic work that becomes generational. And watch this, and it doesn't tie success to one era of what you have done. Watch this, man. I, I planted a church in Jackson, Mississippi back in 2004. right? Um, the lineage of that particular ministry, all of the sons and daughters I had that were in that ministry that were trained and developed by me, they have apostolic DNA in them. But I want to talk just specifically about my son, Apostle Brandon Cornelius, who's doing an excellent job with his church, Glory Revival Center, and in his movement in the body of Christ. As an apostle. Reality, Apostle didn't come to my ministry as an apostle. He, he came to my ministry with the apostle in him, and it was incumbent upon me to see that, look beyond myself, and not be afraid of what I saw in him, and begin to cultivate that gift and stir it so that now the things that he's doing and that he's going to continue to do. My prayer for him daily is that he be better than I ever was. And I believe he's carrying on legacy in a region. I tell him all the time that I was John the Baptist paving the way. I just gave him a word that he had the Christ mantle for the region called Mississippi. And that's reality. He's walking it out even as I'm talking. But the reality is it's successful because the work is continuing. There is continuity. Oh my God. It's not tied to high points in what I did when I was in Mississippi. It's not tied to any success I had when I was there, nor failure when I was there. It's tied to the continuity that's inside of spiritual children that continue the work. Oh boy, where— watch this— wherever God assigns them. So apostolic success deals with succession. It has to continue. There has to be continuity. See, because succession Hear this, guarantees— listen to me— that the works that are being done will abide through time, and that those that are involved will be the reward for the fruit of labor. In other words, the real reward is not how wealthy you become, or how popular you become. The real reward is the fruit of the people that connect to the lineage and that continue and keep it growing and going in the earth. So I want you to remember again that apostolic success— and we're going to get here— is connected. It's a force that's connected to a sequence. Of building. Now let's read 1 Corinthians 3:10, and then I'm gonna drop to verse 14. And I'm reading out of NIV. It said, by the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation— hear this— as a wise master builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care, which means you should be circumspect when, when you become a part of succession. When you are birthed out of apostolic lineage, you should be careful to build with care and be very circumspect and very wise in how you build, because once the lineage is passed to you, you are now responsible for making sure the lineage again continues. Paul said, so again, every apostles have a grace to empower other people, and we'll get into this. He said, "If what has built survive," hear this, "the builder will receive a reward." The rewarding him is the fruit of the people that connect to the line and keep it going. It's the lineage. The victory is in the lineage. Ooh, it's in the lineage, man. Lord have mercy, Jesus. Lord Jesus, I know the devil didn't want me to teach this night. So let's look at a breakdown of what apostolic success looks like, or what a successful work, hear me, looks like. First of all, and we see it in the scripture, and I believe that in order for it to be proven successful, it must contain each of the elements we read in the text, right? And if this is completed, if these elements are actually manifesting through the apostolic ministry, watch this, then hear me good, guys. Oh boy. Then we find ourselves in a very peculiar place of strength. And this strength lends itself to ensuring that the line or the lineage never dies. So here are the elements that prove there is apostolic success based on the text. The first one was grace, charis in Greek. It is the supernatural, hear me, endowment of purpose and power. Grace is not what these folk is teaching. It's not a license to do what you wanna do and get away with what you wanna get away with and appease the struggles in your flesh and never seek deliverance and get free. Yes, grace. Will endow you with the purpose and power of the cross and forgive you of your sin. It will do it. But you should get to a point where you wanna use grace for more than being excused for mistakes. You oughta wanna use grace to empower the charis, the authority, the purpose, and the plan of God that's in your life. Watch this, grace is the ability to do. Hear me, what has never been done in the past. So when you really tap into grace through alignment with apostles and you, you operate under the apostolic grace, the apostolic government, and the apostolic growing dimension— those are the three dimensions of the apostle: the grace dimension, the government dimension, and the growing dimension— when you tap into these dimensions you now receive an impartation. See, if what you're doing looks like what everybody else did, you haven't received the maximized level of the impartation, because real grace is the ability to do what you couldn't do in the past and what has never been done in the past. See, there are some things in the sphere of your assignment that's never been accomplished. Watch this. That you, my friends, are called to accomplish. Oh my God. So if you want to have a successful work, you first got to have grace, apostolic grace. You got to be aligned in apostolic grace, which gives you the ability to do what has never been done in the past. It's the endowment of purpose and power. Power to make an impact, to be influential. Hear me, in the earth. Ah, ilabansheku rabanyanso. Lord, I love you today. Jesus, I love you. Oh my God. All right, 2. I'm getting through these quick. It's in the text, 1 Corinthians 3:10 and verse 14. The second element that guarantees apostolic success Here we go. Y'all ready? Is wisdom. Sophia in Greek. Yeah, that's a feminine connotation. It means to be clever. It means to be skillful. Hallelujah. It means to have, hallelujah, ability that is, watch this, unlearned. It's ability that's innate. You didn't learn this wisdom. It was given to you before God formed you in your mother's belly. He put it in you. So this wisdom is discovered through apostolic alignment. Wait a minute, Michael Woods. So this wisdom becomes a divine plan and understanding of the future. I'll say that again. This wisdom becomes a divine plan an understanding of the future. Ooh wee, ooh wee, ooh wee. Oh my God, watch this. It is a prophetic sequencing of events, not according to your wisdom, according to God's wisdom. Again, that was deposited in you in the before. Can I drop something on you? You came to this earth packaged with potential. You were manufactured with a destiny, and you were created— hallelujah— with a significant authenticity to carry out an influential work on earth that has to be prophetically ordered through a sequencing of events. See, the prophetic sequencing of events was already established. That's why God said to Jeremiah, he said, Jeremiah afraid to do his job. God says to him, look, before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Number one, yada in Hebrew, in the yada place I had intimacy with you, and not sex, but I opened you up. Intimacy, intimacy. And I made a deposit of all that you would become. Of every crossroad you would have to go through to get where you're going. I put it in you. He said, not only that, I ordained you. I set order to your life. I sequenced events. Oh, see, most of us, because we're out of alignment, we never get the wisdom to finish. And so a lot of times things become hard. Things become a struggle. The way of a transgressor— I know y'all don't want to hear this— is hard. Many of you are going through hard spaces because somewhere you misaligned. And it's only when you get in proper alignment that you lift those hard spaces and start flowing according to the destiny or sequence of prophetic wisdom events. Can I submit to you that the prophetic wisdom of God and the events in your life that lead to the manifestation of your real destiny— hallelujah— are actually what destiny is? Because destiny really is an inevitable course of events. So God planned out these events according to his perfect will. When you're misaligned out of perfect will, oh boy, and just kind of doing things your way, it's hard. I've been there, I've been there, man. That's why I'm telling you, you got to get in line. You got to align yourself with Apostle so you can get this wisdom. Oh, I stayed on that too long. Number 3, it's in the text. He talks about foundation. If you want to have apostolic success, you got to have foundation. What is foundation? First of all, foundation, this, or the substratum of who you are, is based in a legitimate— watch this— relationship with God and leaders. I can go a lot of ways with this, but I don't have time. One, because I know my tech tripping, so I'm gonna have to take the regular recording and replace this when I get off, because I'm such a person of excellence. This ain't gonna fly. This just for y'all that's listening right now, but we're gonna come back, glory to God, and fix this video. Glory to God. Listen, can I tell you something? Can I tell you something? Yeah, let me tell you something. The reality is there are a lot of people who claim to have relationship with God and their leaders, but their relationship is illegitimate. I can, I can name 10 people right now off the top of my head that say certain people are their spiritual father. And I can tell you right now that the relationship they have with that person is illegitimate because they're not plugged in correctly. They're not, ah, properly aligned and connected to the biblical cord because they do what they want to do, you know, and they kind of are rebellious. You know, um, but they want to call themselves apostles. Man, sit down with that, really. I mean, at the end of the day, if your relationship with your leader is illegitimate and you are running around here doing what you want to do and telling everybody this person, whether it's me or anybody else, is your spiritual father, but you're out of line. What you need to do is legitimize the relationship with your father by being loyal, by being connected, by, watch this, by being bought into the vision. How can you call somebody a father and you never sow seed in their life? Ah, ah. I mean, at some juncture, if you get a heart to plant into your father's life, God will make the way for you to do it. There's no excuse. You do everything else you want to do. And I don't have time to talk about creating legitimacy through giving. I mean that, because people don't want to hear that. So I'm not going to even talk about it tonight, but a lot of you are illegitimate because you're not connected. Let's, let's not even go there. You're not even connected. Praise God. Through loyalty, man. Come on. You're not even connected through loyalty. Some of y'all not even loyal. You're not, you don't show up for nothing. You're not where you're supposed to be ever. My God, today. So hear me, the foundation again is a substratum of your relationship with your daddy and with God. Whew, whew. So how can I have an illegitimate relationship with God, Michael Woods? Some of y'all saying, you crazy, man. My relationship with God tight. How in the world you gonna sit here and tell me, glory to God, that my relationship with God ain't right? Well, I'm telling you, it ain't right, and I'm gonna tell you why. Let me tell you why. Because you're out of alignment with him for self in several ways. Watch this. One, you never pray. 2, you never worship. You can't know God if you don't worship God, and you can't worship God if you don't know God. Hallelujah! I mean, and at the end of the day, you— so the key is you got to build a relationship with him. Hear me. Through spending time with him. And because you don't spend time with God, your relationship is illegitimate, is religious, is born out of protocols and ways of doing things that you think is right. And because you're out of alignment, you don't even realize you're doing it wrong. I know it's teaching rough, man. It's tough because foundation also deals with you— you get enough when your relationship with God is legitimate, all right? And your relationship with your leaders are legitimate. You have a thorough comprehension— watch this— of the corporate vision of the kingdom, because now your relationship with the king, you know the king's heart. The reason you got so many renegade folk running, doing what they want to do, is because they haven't tapped into the heart of God and legitimized their relationship with— I'm not talking about you just get in prayer and you just go to screaming and hollering and speaking in tongues and he never really talks back. You never really seen the results. You never really get any breakthrough. I'm talking about you know him, you're really legitimate. Yeah, man. Okay, okay, okay. Number 4, hainamu. He talks about being wise master builder. So apostolic success happens, number 4, when there's building skill, when building skill comes forth. And that's the ability to properly construct things and bring vision to pass. Oh my God. Using kingdom principles. Most of the time what you see being built in this hour, people are building it out of carnality. People are building it out of their flesh. They're building it out of some religious tradition. They're building it out of inspiration versus education of kingdom principle. If you ain't never sat under a kingdom teacher you won't learn kingdom principle. I thank God for my hermeneutical training. I thank God that I can intellectualize the text, right? But that's only a very pediatric foundation to opening my mind to disseminate kingdom principle, because what I've been taught about the kingdom, I didn't learn it in seminary. I didn't learn it in a Bible college. I learned it spending time with the King. I learned in studying the Word and allowing the King to download those principles in my life. And now I understand exactly, hear me, how to build using those principles. You know, it's hard to build, hear me, anything, man, It really is in the kingdom trying to do it yourself. You got to do it by the principles he's disseminated. So when you're aligned with apostles, you can have apostolic success because real apostles are going to disseminate to you building skills. And some of you have no building skills. You, you're going by what you see on Facebook, you're going by what you watch on TBN. Oh Lord, please don't. You going by what you watch on Daystar, and you don't understand that the people that are on those networks, you don't know their stories. You don't know what a lot of those people have gone through to be, be in those positions. And you don't know who has built it out of their flesh because they copied something else too. And it really— watch this— boils down to this: if it is what you're building advancing the corporate vision of the kingdom, or is it building your personal kingdom? That's a whole other message for another day. Let me move. Number 5, he talks about continuity. He talks about taking care of the work, having a razor-sharp focus on the kingdom and the finished work thereof. See, we want to see this thing finished because we want to— hallelujah— see people be blessed. We want to bear fruit that will remain. Glory to God. And number 6, reward. Glory to God. Reward. Reward is the harvest for remaining faithful. Watch this. And sticking to God's plan. Not your plan, but sticking to God's plan. Not doing what you want to do, but sticking to God's plan. Oh boy, wow, man, that's really all I need to say tonight. I had some more, but I'm gonna stop right there. See, Success is from the word asa in Hebrew, and it means to execute, to accomplish, to advance, to finish, to furnish. It is also connected to the word makalah or malakah, which means apostle or king. Oh boy, the makalah, the makalah, apostle or king. I've been saying it, the apostle or the apostolic anointing is a kingly anointing. And so what— when you align yourself with the apostles, it gives you the ability to execute, to accomplish, to advance, to finish and furnish the assignment that God has placed in your hands. Let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for this word tonight. I pray that it land on the good ground of every heart and that your people will reap it in due season if they faint not. I decree and declare that every person that listens to this live or by replay that they will have a mindset, God, to trust you in every single way. In Jesus' name, amen. And thanks be to God.
