Created to Dominate | Live from Durant MS | DR. Mike Woods, SR. | 10-13-23

Dr. Mike Woods tells a congregation in Durant, Mississippi that they are created for dominion and must live out their calling with sacrifice and transformation. He draws on Genesis and Romans to argue against conformity to worldly systems, urging listeners to identify their unique purpose, renew their minds, and become fruitful leaders. The sermon ends with a call to declare personal dominion and prepare for 2024.
Chapters
you with Jesus' joy. And I'm so glad to be in his house. Glory to God. I utter the words of the Apostle Peter as he— as Jesus stood on the Mount of Transfiguration with them. He said, it is good for us to be here. Now clap your hands if you believe it's good.
God.
Uh, we're, we're staying there at the Hilton in Jackson, and just even leaving the hotel, there are so many people in town for the Jackson State homecoming, and people getting ready to go out partying and do what they do. But thanks be to God for some saved people in Mississippi.
We going to church tonight.
Glory to God. I'm not going to be long, but much honor to your illustrious leaders, Pastor Camus Langford and Prophetess Debbie Langford.
Come on, give God praise for them. Don't y'all get any better than that.
Don't say, "Yeah, Jesus." Good leadership, hear me, is an endangered species. Ah, yeah. Nobody's invited you to Waco and leading you down the wrong way, but you got people that love God. And you know, the Bible says, what does it profit a man to gain the world and lose his soul? It wouldn't matter if you got a million dollars tonight and went to hell the day after you got the check. So God gives leaders leaders to watch over you, and the most valuable thing in your life is your soul. So again, I want you to thank God for your leaders. And to my amazing wife, thank God for her and that wonderful introduction. I am so happy And you know, um, a lot of times when you have been groomed in dysfunction, you live most of your life thinking that things you discover are functional because all you knew was dysfunction. So you start defining stuff that's not functional as functional, and it ultimately puts you in misalignment with God, and you end up happy— unhappy, broken, frustrated. But I'm so glad that I was whole and healed and could see clear and you could hear God's voice when I found— you know, the Bible said he that finds a wife— listen, if you want a husband Hide.
I'm gonna say it one more time.
I'm gonna say it for the people over here. If you want a husband, hide. You can't find anything that's not hidden. He that finds a wife finds a good thing. So when you hide in your purpose, hide in God's plan, You'll find the person for you in those plans. And she was hiding in who God had made her to be, and I found her in that process. So y'all give my wife a life. All right, I thank you, Madam Gun Alderman, for that welcome, and we appreciate you, sir. We feel welcome to Holmes County. Glory to God. Listen, I'm not going to be long tonight. I'm going to be as extemporaneous as I possibly can. Um, I want to talk about something that I believe will be, um, important for you to make application of when you leave here. When it comes to preaching and teaching, for me, in this season of my life, I've gotten to a point of maturity in my ministry where I'm not just interested in preaching a good message that gets you excited. As a matter of fact, I'm more interested in preaching a message that makes you mad, and makes you mad enough to want to go and do something about what you hear. I always say information or revelation without application is constipation.
Are y'all hearing this?
So you can get information, you get revelation, glory to the name of God, You can—
you—
we can fly around here tonight and get all caught up in the glory, but if you don't apply what you hear, you're constipated. You're stuck. This book is meant to work for us. Y'all looking at me like y'all don't know what constipation is. Listen, y'all from Mississippi, y'all know what constipation is. We got here early yesterday so we could support Bishop Wright, support the meeting, but we also wanted to eat because Prophetess told us she was going to cook for us. So we had turnips, catfish, fried chicken, spaghetti, all kind of stuff that had the potential to produce constipation. Okay, so, but it was so good.
Are y'all hearing me?
So what I'm saying, so y'all know, right? So it means stuck, you're hard to move things in the right direction. So I want to help you move in the right direction because the most important thing for me is that you show up in the world. I'm glad y'all here tonight, but it's more important that you show up in the world when you leave here. If you had 10 minutes on came in and they asked you the question, how do you show up in the world? What would your 10-minute dialogue be? Would you be churchy and say, oh, I'm saved, sanctified, filled with the Holy Ghost? That's not a good answer, because the question was, how do you show up in the world? How are you influential? I'm already preaching, y'all, stay with me. How are you impactful? How are lives being changed because you breathe? Who's different because you showed up? How is your work making a difference for others? Tonight I want to talk about the subject, and I'm going to call this Created for Dominion.
Touch yourself.
Say, I'm created for dominion. Amen. Let me honor the Lord for some of our people that came from Ronald Jackson tonight. Y'all give Pastor Ella a hand. Pastor Ella is our pastor of hospitality. Minister Brother Sims, who runs our youth ministry. Y'all give God praise for her. And my daughter Apostle Sapphira Hawkins.
Y'all give God praise. She, she one of our best preachers out there. Y'all give God glory.
Give God our sister in the back, Mamie. Prophetess Mamie.
Good to see you all.
Shall give God praise today.
Hallelujah.
Say, I'm created to dominate.
I'm created to dominate.
Let me just start here.
Let me lay a backdrop to this. Go to 2 Peter 1. Can I teach like I'm at home?
Yes.
Hallelujah. All right, Prophetess, I'm, I'm going to take that now. Don't take that back when I get further along in this. Prophetess says I'm at home, so I'm going to act like I'm at home, right? Glory to God. Some of the folks that be at home with me, they praying right now. Please, Lord, don't let him do that. Glory to God. Listen, 2 Peter 1:10.
Are y'all there?
It says, wherefore the rather, brethren— say brethren. The word brethren is a Greek word, adolphos, and it means comrade, one called into covenant. So This text tonight is not about— listen to me, guys—
sinners.
It's about brethren. It's about believers. It's about those who are a part of the kingdom of God.
So Paul says, this is for us who are in the faith together.
Say, I'm a brethren. Say, Adolphos.
Watch this.
It not only means I'm a brother or sister with you, but it means I am connected through genealogy—
watch this—
to Jesus.
Yes, not, not through religion, but through genealogy. Watch this.
Because before you were formed in your mother's belly, he knew you. That's Jeremiah 1:5. So Jeremiah 1:5, he knew— the word knew is yada in Hebrew, which means he He respected you. He hung out with you. He, oh my God, he, he began to put deposits in you, and he put down in your DNA a family gene that marked you to become a believer when you got to earth. That was before you ever got in your mama's womb. So that means you're not a mistake.
Hallelujah.
There was no slip-ups. That was no oops.
You're supposed to be here. Just look at somebody, say, I'm supposed to be here.
Don't get it twisted. I'm supposed to be here. Pastor, you're supposed to be here. Every one of you, you're here because no man cometh unto the Father—
this is proof—
except he draw him. The word draw is suggero in Greek. It means he drags you even if you don't want to come.
Glory to God. Even if you have to come kicking it was before the foundation of the world that you were called to be a child of God.
So you're created, brethren, you're created on assignment.
You're here on assignment. Nothing just happens. You're here for purpose.
So he says, brethren, brethren, brethren. He says, give diligence. I love that word. Spoudazo in Greek. Diligence means to pursue hard after with uninterrupted focus. So wait a minute. So if I'm brethren, I'm in covenant, I got DNA, he's saying with uninterrupted focus I gotta pursue hard after something. What is it?
He says I need to make my calling and my election true.
Oh boy, here we go. Your calling is your klesis. Klesis deals with the idea of your authentic or unique purpose. All right, my purpose is unique to Pastor Landfair's. His purpose is unique to mine.
Oh my God, every one of us in this room, we have a klesis.
There is a difference in who we are. That's why if you go shoot somebody with a gun and leave the scene and I'm still there and I never touched the gun. Once they run the prints, they're gonna know it's you.
Oh, come on.
Oh, y'all ain't got—
they could put me in custody, but once they check those fingerprints, they're gonna find uniquely that you were the one that pulled the trigger. Because even in our physical body, none of us have the same fingerprints.
We're different.
We're unique.
That's why we should never try to be somebody else.
Amen.
'Cause God uniquely needs you.
Yeah.
This gonna make sense in a minute. Say, God needs me.
God needs me.
Can I submit to you, the only reason your heart is still beating is because your purpose is needed. Yes.
You don't breathe because you wanna see your children.
You don't breathe to go to work another day.
You are alive to fulfill purpose.
Once your purpose is done, your heart expires.
My, my Jesus. Come on.
Klesis is connected to the word cardio, so we get words like cardiovascular, cardiopulmonary, which is a heart. So purpose and heartbeat have a connection. We have a rhythm. There's a rhythm that beats in my cardiovascular system that aligns me with who I am. So he says, I want you to do diligence to make your calling, your purpose. Say, I have purpose.
I have purpose.
Here's one of the problems with purpose, ladies and gentlemen. And I'm gonna be— I just sound long-winded. Y'all better look like this negro is gonna be so long tonight.
He give me all these words.
I mean, we finna be in here, and the woman that already told us to do 3-7 hours.
You see now, working in your head, trying to figure out how you can put up your little finger. Remember, I'm a prophet. I'm reading your thoughts right now. You trying to figure out how to get out of here, right? What can I— make an excuse?
This is going to be hard. But listen, I have purpose. I promise you, I'm not going to be long as this hour. You got purpose. Here's the problem with it though. Every person with purpose does not have revelation of that purpose.
Yes.
And when purpose has not been revealed You will abuse your life. Ah, if you don't know the purpose of children, you abuse them. That's called child abuse. The word abuse is two words: abuse, abnormal use.
You don't know the purpose of money, you abuse money.
That's financial abuse.
You know the purpose of drugs?
You abuse drugs.
It's called drug abuse. When you don't know why you're here, you abuse your life.
You work the wrong jobs, you go to the wrong school, you marry the wrong people, you date the wrong men, date the wrong women.
Because when you have no purpose Purpose necessitates how you spend your time. In my maturity, you know what I've learned to do, Pastor?
Right.
And my wife will attest to this. I don't roll with people who are not connected to my purpose. I love everybody, and I'll go and minister, but I'm not coming to everybody's house. I came to your house 'Cause I believe you connected to purpose.
Y'all ain't got to talk here.
Stop inviting people to your world that all they do when they show up is waste your time.
Come on, you're wasting your time with people who have no idea who you are.
And let me tell you something, you got to get the indignation to say, you cannot just recognize me See, when you let people just recognize you, they deal with what they see on the surface.
But you ought to get this dispensation upon you that says, I can never be recognized, I must be revealed.
So you are aware of people that you've been revealed to. See, when you've been revealed to people, they won't violate you. When there's no revelation, there's always violation. But when you know who a person is, you won't violate them.
He said, make your calling— I'm going to teach about purpose because I can stay there all night, but—
and election.
Oh, I love this piece. Sam elected. That wasn't a democratic system that elected us. Thank God for our fine man of God here that was elected by the people. Yeah, but can I tell you something? God began to speak to me last week, and he said this election is coming up in 2024. Y'all hear the prophet? He said as many people will focus on what's happening in the White House and the House of Representatives and focus on what's happening in Congress, he said tell people that this election will not be about the election at all.
He said, but this next 4 years will be about the elected.
So who cares who gets elected that goes to Washington?
God said this next 4 years he's about to position his people to be the standard.
Y'all ain't got to talk to me.
I don't need a democratic system to survive.
Don't disrespect me, I'm talking about you.
I'm a kingdom man. I'm a part of a theocracy, not a democracy. I'm a part of a theocracy, a God-ruled government. And because I'm a part of theocracy, the King, the Monarch of Heaven, the Monarch of the world takes care of me.
Yes, Father!
Hallelujah! Do you know in a kingdom, the king is responsible for his citizens?
Yes, yes, yes.
We don't understand that in democracy because our elected officials are elected.
But if you go to England, yes, yes, you don't just become a citizen because you were born there. The king has to choose you.
You don't become a citizen until the king says, okay, you can be a citizen. He doesn't now. You know why? He's waiting to see your level of responsibility, to see how you show up in the world, because he knows it's his job to take care of you whether you take care of yourself or not.
Yes. Ah. Amen.
God says, when you receive me— he's the king.
Yes.
He moves in.
With his kingdom. Okay, coming to Jesus. Jesus said the kingdom of heaven is within you. So I'm not a church member, I'm not a religious man. The Bible said we're no more foreigners and strangers, same chapter in Peter, but we're citizens, citizens, citizens, yeah, of the kingdom.
So my election— watch this—
is to dominate.
Yes, yes, God.
I got born again not just to have good church.
Right, right.
While I love having good church, I'm a church boy, man, I just am. But I understand it's bigger than this.
I understand that I got to show up in the world and make an impact.
Yes, the man of God was teaching last night. I mean, my wife was just laughing because we didn't just— because he was saying it shouldn't be wrong with you praying for a million, man. We done got so past that. We pray every day for a billion.
We don't pray the million and multi-million.
We going for a billion.
Come on, because we're created. You got to say nothing, but we're created to dominate, and so are you.
Yeah!
Hallelujah!
I take this literally. This Bible, amen, it's the Constitution of our King.
It's real.
It's not just some archaic book of historical writings that you open up on Sunday when the pastor takes a text. This book is full of life and promises that God wants to bring to pass for you.
I just needed to lay that backdrop, y'all. Let me just take this down. Say, I'm crazy dominant. Y'all getting something out of this so far? He said, make your calling and election joyfully-yam.
So in other words, you ain't got time trying to be somebody else.
He said make your calling and election sure.
Yes, yes.
You got all these people around the country, they see popular preachers on the internet. There was a time that America—
watch this—
was built on the Ten Commandments. It followed what the Bible said. But now it's built on the styles of Paris, standards of Hollywood. Who's the most popular on Instagram? Who's hot on Facebook?
Who's hot on TikTok? We follow trends.
Trends.
And watch this, a trend always changes.
Some of y'all so addicted to social media, you post a picture at night before you go to bed. And you watching that picture about 20 minutes before you go to sleep to see how many people click like. And then the first thing you do in the morning is turn on Facebook, see who liked it. You can't even make it through your day because you don't feel validated if your post don't get up to a certain number. You need to like you better than that.
Because here's what I learned, most of those people don't Most social media ain't real anyway.
Most of them fake friends. I'm so glad Facebook changed the whole algorithm and start calling them followers, because that's what they is. They're not friends, because the moment you do something or say something they don't like, they go left and jump on the bandwagon with the people that's saying what they want to hear. Somebody—
I was talking to a young lady in college, she said, I'm getting cyberbullied and I just don't know how to take it.
I said, you know what you would do? Turn your phone off. You doing that to yourself. What you want me to say? I ain't got nothing to say but put your phone down. The only way they bullying you, you got your phone in your hand reading the crap.
How about there are tools on the app for to block the people. But so engulfed in it that this is my way of feeling accepted. You got a King that loves you, that has authenticated you with a great purpose. This has a great plan over your life that he wants to see fulfilled.
Yes, touch yourself.
Say, I'm created to dominate.
I'm created to dominate.
He said, make your call at Shofar. If you do these things— I love this— he said, you will never fall. Only time you fail and fall and come short is when you're not sure of yourself. That's right.
Look at that.
That's part of our sin I'm coming tonight. It's reminding you of who you are. One of the things that happens when generals come to town, or when apostles show up, where apostolic ministry comes into a territory, there are 3 things that should happen. One, the general should measure you. My wife talked about— I was in the military, and we had— I was a Navy man, so equivalent to a general was an admiral. But whenever the admiral was coming to the base, the base was put in tip-top shape. That's right.
Glory to God.
Because the admiral was coming.
Yes.
And what he was going to do on his visit is measure the base.
Yes.
To determine its rank among other bases.
To determine if the officers in the region were doing their job.
When generals in the spirit come into a region, they come to measure you, to make you think. So if you don't shout tonight, I want you to think. The word measure is metron in Greek, and it means to put a meter on and to honestly determine where you are.
You can never move to what I'm about to teach you until you accept for real where you are.
Yes.
I walked in the mall one day, I was looking for a store.
True story.
I had no idea what a store was. Matter of fact, I was traveling and I saw this huge mall. I said, I want to go in there and see if they got something I need. So I saw the anchor on the sign that the store was there, but I didn't see the store. So when I got in I went in and there was a big directory there. So I'm looking for the store on the directory.
I found it.
I still didn't know how to get to it until I figured out where I was.
There was a big arrow that said, "You are here." Yeah, yeah.
So you got to be honest with yourself. Where are you really?
Yes.
And in this society, we put on so many masks. Yeah, I was just talking about social media. You could be anybody on your phone. You can get online and put on this facade that you're something you're not.
Yes.
But who are you really?
Who are you when nobody's looking?
Who are you when you're in the bedroom alone and going to sleep at night? How do you view yourself?
Not this pseudo person you make up for everybody else.
You ever seen somebody on social media, you see their pictures, and then you see them in person?
Oh my God, this is—
Jesus, what's What happened here?
It's not what I saw.
Little disappointed.
Sorry, God.
Where the person on the picture? That's okay, another message for another day. But listen, let me talk to y'all over here.
Y'all like—
let me tell you something, you got to be who you are. So part of that is allowing yourself to be measured. Yes, be honest with yourself, honest with God, and say, God, this is who I really am. I'll say this right now, I was going to hit this at the end, but you'll never dominate until you get the courage to accept you.
God don't need nobody else but you. And if somebody's trying to get you to change for them, they are the wrong person.
Come on, you people excited about that?
But listen, you know how many people every day are working real hard to try—
oh God—
to change themselves for other people?
Jesus.
That ain't God's will.
Be you.
Take the measurement and get better. Secondly, when generals come, they teach you to manage who you are.
They give you a real plan on how to manage your current position, how to look at yourself and manage yourself Cuz you'll never be a great leader for others until you learn how to lead yourself. Yes, individual leadership is most important. You know, in my life, when I became an effective leader, when I got control of me—
yes, yes, Lord—
cuz there was a season in my life, Pastor, I was out of control. I could preach, I could teach, I could even prophesy, but I had no ability to lead myself.
Myself. Y'all don't like that kind of transparency, do you?
But I'm going to tell you, there are a lot of people that are struggling with things that they never talk about because they feel like they need to be strong for you. But I've learned that I'm the most important entity in this equation. And if I'm not strong for me, if I don't take care of me, there's no way I can take care of her, my children, my churches, leaders I'm assigned to. So I got to deal with me. I got to be all right. You got folk preaching under the anointing, but when they come down out of the anointing, they're mentally crazy.
Okay, okay, I'm sorry. That's why you got preachers that leave the pulpit, go slap their wife. I had a first lady tell me one time I was in revival in the church, she—
and I knew something was wrong, but God would never let me see the whole thing. And I'm like, woman of God, what's going on?
She's like, I want to tell you so bad, Prophet, but I can't because I'm scared. And about— this is back when I was doing 5-day revivals. And about midweek, the lady said, I can't take it no more. I'm gonna tell you because I love my husband. I can't take this no more. She said, every night on the way to church, he beats me with his fists. In the car. And this man could preach the paint off the walls.
This man was gifted in deliverance and healing, but he was operating in a familiar realm, and he had an inability to lead himself. You can't be effective to others when you ain't effective for you.
You really don't know the price some people pay to be who they are.
God.
So manage generals, manage generals measure. But here's the— here's the where I'm getting. Generals show up to help you master. Your purpose, master your election, master your— we got too many novices doing things that they haven't mastered. So we have to have you discover, have you develop, deploy you into the world as a master so you can really dominate. So let's get into this now. I'm almost through for real, y'all. Go to Genesis 1:28. Let's go.
Hallelujah!
I hope y'all getting something out of this.
Yes, sir.
Yes, sir.
Glory to Jesus. So I'm created to dominate.
I'm created to dominate.
James 1:28 says, and God blessed them.
Church of self, say, I'm blessed.
I'm blessed.
So you ain't got to go get a blessing, you're already blessed. Legalistic people feel like they gotta earn blessings and they gotta work for blessings, but there's a blessing that has already been pronounced over your life. And it wasn't pronounced by man, it was pres— oh my God, it was presumed and spoken by God. God blessed them and said, and whenever God says something, because he's a king, it's law.
It can't be changed.
I don't care what the enemy says to your mind.
God already said you're blessed.
Oh, just touch yourself, say I'm blessed. Listen, he says—
this is what he said to them: Since you're blessed, be fruitful. Notice he didn't say get fruitful or be fruitful. See, a lot of times we're all the time trying to get something—
get delivered, get saved, get born again, get the Holy Ghost. He never told you to do that.
He taught you to receive salvation, receive the blessing, receive the Holy Ghost. And when you receive it, you can be it.
Hallelujah!
We're not human doings.
We're human beings, so we're not created to do, we're created to be.
So the first thing he says, if I'm gonna operate in dominion, I gotta be fruitful.
Yes, pesach in Hebrew, which means I gotta manifest the plan of God.
So that others can see it and enjoy it. So in other words, there's a seed in you. I told you, Jeremiah 1:5, before I formed you, I knew you.
Yahweh put something in you. You're God's delivery system in the earth. You're here to deliver fruit.
Yes, come on now.
And watch this. A, a orange seed is different than an apple seed.
So stop trying to be the apple and you're orange. Jesus, you need to spend some time with God and find out what seed bed is in you and what you're on this planet to produce.
And show up in the world and be fruitful.
Greatest day of my life, the moment I realized I wasn't just called to preach to church folk and bear fruit in the church. Now God has favored me where I preach to entrepreneurs.
I—
my— most of my travel schedule I, I, you know, I love to see people traveling around the priest church. I haven't been there, did that. My wife told you I've been to 4 continents doing that. But now I go to companies and preach. I'm surrounded by CEOs and ministers, leading, talking to heads of companies so they can eat the fruit of God.
Oh God, have mercy.
And ultimately it leaves them who don't know him to understand him. Yeah, say be fruitful, be fruitful, and conjunction, multiply.
So don't just grow one tree and let the fruit hang out. That's called the multiplicity of ministry. So you, when you start birthing out fruit, you have to multiply what you bring forward. Watch this, in a watermelon harvest You can have up to 300 watermelons come in in the harvest. Inside of each watermelon, there are about 150 seeds. Yes.
Huh?
Watch this. The seeds are designed to sow in. So you always have more seed than harvest.
So whenever God gives you fruit, the intent is for you to always replant.
Here's what we've been trying to do Prophetess.
The churches—
I was, we was standing there talking with Bishop Wright last night, and he was, he's so right. He was talking about some of the old generals and how— and, and that's my sentiments, that I miss some of these men, sure, cuz things are different when, when you don't have a dead pagan in the earth.
You don't have men who were generals who, who consistently walked in faith and power to look to as examples. It's tough because you start multiplying things that are not fruitful.
Yes, that's good.
You cannot have dominion multiplying unfruitfulness.
Let me give you an example. You've been with— you've dated a man, you know, you remember this dude, 12 years.
He ain't ask you to marry him, he keeps getting you pregnant.
Only thing that's fruitful about him is your loins.
But you keep multiplying with this person, you keep showing up hoping he makes a commitment.
It won't happen cuz you're multiplying unfruitfulness.
If you don't like the harvest you get, change the see.
At the end of the week, you complaining about your paycheck?
You worked for that. Change what you're doing during the week. At the end of the week, it'll look different. See, I'm, I'm just trying to teach you how to show up in the world. I let other people talk to you about showing the church. I'm here. I want you to show up so you can dominate. He said multiply and replenish, which means restore or put back in place. So it says, I want you to put back in place the things in the earth that should be there, people who are in charge.
So we learn dominion, we teach others dominion.
To be, by the way, is to be in total control.
Yes.
In your sphere of influence.
It comes from a Hebrew word, rada. People ask me where I get the word rada from for our churches.
Well, that's where it comes from. Our mandate is to have control.
Come on.
This is not Plan B.
All right.
God said this. And if you're an employee, God is saying, I want you to become a dominant. You need to be figuring out how to run that company, how to find your purpose and be deployed and set up your own company.
Amen.
Oh God, here today he says, I want you to replenish the earth, subdue it.
Wait a minute, subdue— that Hebrew word means to enslave the earth. To God's way of doing things.
All right, watch this.
Your presence can be so dominating and influential that people will want to follow what you do. All right, you know all the wrong stuff people following, it's not getting them anywhere. But if you learn some principle that people can see dominion operating in your life, they'll want what God is doing in you. Say this with me. Say, God created me.
I want the devil to hear you say it.
Say, yes me, yes me, to rule, to rule, to dominate, dominate, to be large, large, and in charge, and in charge.
I say, no weapon formed against me will stop me. Me from taking my place. Say, back up, devil!
I'm about to take my place.
Hallelujah!
A few people that's made up their mind even in the middle of this message, but you're ready to take your place.
Please be seated. Glory to God. And the first thing we want to do is go to heaven. So we pack our bags, get our stuff, and we got a suitcase ready, looking out the window every day, waiting for Jesus to crack the sky, cuz we want to escape the world and go to heaven.
Watch this, some of us even use the church weekly to escape the world.
Yeah, because you don't like your life when you leave church.
But can I submit to you, you can't live at church.
That's right.
Well, I don't know about y'all church, but you can't live in my church.
You, you gotta go home.
So you gotta make sure that you are showing up in a way that you don't want to escape.
I like my life. People who commit suicide, they have an escapism mentality. The mindset is, if I end it all, I won't have to deal with the world, life anymore.
Can I tell you something? You're going to deal with something a whole lot worse.
Oh yeah.
So you might as well make up your mind you're going to be who God created prayed it. Stop running from things that confront you. If you face it, God will fix it.
Hallelujah!
Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
I don't think they heard me all the way.
If you face it—
that's right— you're running from it. You conflicted in how to fight it. Well, guess what?
If the Lord is on your side, it's already a fixed fight anyway. So what you running for?
You running from the battle. Jesus, you ought to stand flat-footed and say, I got God with me. You know what, it's just like if you showed up to play 3-on-3 against some random people and your 2 players is LeBron and Steph Curry.
You ain't running for no 3-on-3 with them. I know I ain't.
At 54, I'm gonna stand at the top of the key and just give it to LeBron, let him do whatever he want to do. Give it to Steph, shoot, I don't care what you do, I'm staying right here the whole game. Because I know we gonna win.
Watch this. You got to have that same mentality because you got Jesus with you every day in life. Just stand at the top of the key, dish it to Jesus, and sit back and watch him win.
Say, God created me to dominate.
So Michael Woods, what What does it require? And I'm almost done. I'm going to give you 4 things. What does it require to dominate? And I'm going to teach you some life lessons that I've lived, okay?
It's going to teach—
it's going to call— I'm going to give you 4 things surrounding this word, and the word is sacrifice. Present your bodies. All right, a living sacrifice. Your body is your bios life, your biology, your human existence. He's saying, I want you to bring that to me alive, usable. The word living is zion in Greek. It means that you're usable. You don't go out here and use your body up playing with the devil and then show up, can't hardly walk, got diabetes, can't see, got high blood pressure, got heart issues, and then sure, Lord, I'm here. No, he says, I want a living sacrifice. Now, that's you, okay, I understand. But you know better now, so come on to Jesus. But you, you going to play until you can't play no more, and then you going to say, God, I'm here. He, he wants a living sacrifice, something he can use.
Yes, that's right. Hallelujah.
So sacrifice, it means to give up something willingly for death in exchange for something better. So are you willing to give up your way of doing things, your religious mentality, your thought process, for a better way of operating? It's a sacrifice, you know, because we're born in sin. And shaping in iniquity.
So you come into this earth, you're born in sin, which is hermisi, agree? You're born missing the mark, under God, outside of God.
And then somebody starts raising you and shaping your life in iniquity. Iniquity is lawlessness, which means you have no boundaries, no borders.
You have no insight to God's kingdom way of doing things. You're shaping outside of his system. You pick up these other systems that appear to be right.
It's a way that seems right.
Oh yeah, because when you're shaping iniquity, you don't know anything. You're learning from the people that's teaching. So you learn systems and say, if you do this, this is going to be the result. Some of the systems, very practical, they seem good. Go to college, get a degree, get a job.
That's a system.
So many people have bought into it. Watch this, there's so many people who bought into it and they're handcuffed now to a job. And don't know how to break away to follow their dream.
I'm almost done.
A sacrifice means you dismiss pleasure for power. Something you love to do, but you give it up so that that thing can be replaced with power and authority from God.
Yes.
Y'all hearing? Y'all listening?
Yes.
Good. This word sacrifice is a Greek word, fysia, and it literally means, again, to put to death so that resurrection can occur. This is the idea that it may die, but you're coming back better.
Yeah, some people are holding on to systems because this— watch this—
a system is not even alive, it's not, it's dead. It's an idea, it's not even— glory to God—
it's something that can change at any moment. And so we'll hold on to it because we're comfortable.
Y'all say, God.
Some of you are holding on to systems in the church, in your profession, who—
watch this—
who are created by people who are carnal.
Carnal.
Not that they're bad, they're just carnal.
They're smart and it's worked for them, but they're carnal, which means they're not connected to God.
All right.
And to be carnally minded is death.
Amen.
So your dream dies in the graveyard of carnality. The greatest form of witchcraft is deceit from systems who are not fueled by the fire of God.
Gotta hear that.
Or the intelligence of God. So you're in a system that's not fueled by God's mind.
Your purpose and your election dies in that system.
My God.
God says, I need you to kill every system that goes against my Every voice that's in your ear telling you you're not enough, telling you you'll never be able to accomplish big things. The man of God preached last night about greater coming, and every voice that tells you you're less than and you can't walk in that, you need to back up and say, shut up in the name of Jesus, and declare who you are in God.
I want to tell you something. Some of you are even locked into a system that's rooted in your past failures, your past mistakes. And anytime someone shows up and reminds you of what you used to be, you get depressed and you start thinking more than what you ought to. Now let me tell you something, God will never look at your past to determine your future.
He's already decided where you're going.
I'm gonna love on somebody in the name of Jesus and tell them, I'm going somewhere.
I'm going somewhere.
I got to get out of here, man. He said you got to present your body a living sacrifice.
This is your reasonable service.
That's Romans 12:1.
Logikos in Greek is logical. It's logical to give my life totally to God. It makes sense.
Yeah, it does, cuz he created everything.
Than me.
He's bigger than me.
It's a good sacrifice.
So I'm going to give him all. Touch yourself. I surrender all.
Say, I'm giving God all I got. Watch what he says in verse 2. He says, and be not conformed to this world.
Here we go.
Conformed Pros and cons.
Pros are for, cons are against. Being conformed to the system of the world means that you are against the form that God made concerning you. The form is mukekis in Greek, and it means a blueprint, a design. It's what architects do when they're getting ready to build something. There's already a blueprint, there's already a design, and you conform to the world, you're going against what God thought about you. And you got to make up in your mind, God's mind is the greatest mind of them all, and I'mma go with what God says. God says I'm blessed, then I'm blessed. God says I'm fruitful, then I'm fruitful. God says I'm the head, then I'm the head, baby. God says I'm rich, then I'm rich. God says I'm healed.
I don't care what the doctor say, I am healed. I wish somebody say, I'm going with God. Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Yes, sir. Oh God, he said, I want you to not be conformed to this cosmos, the cosmopolitan system, the way the world does things. He said, but I need you to be transformed. Metamorpho in Greek, so it works like metamorphosis. A caterpillar becomes a butterfly, it has no more reference to a caterpillar. It doesn't look like a caterpillar. It doesn't have the DNA of a caterpillar. So when God transforms your mind, your old mind is over.
Your old mind is dead.
Your old mind is crucified.
Just lay hands on your mind and say, I got a new mind. Say it's a dominion mind. It's a mind of authority. It's a mind of power. It's a mind of glory. It's a mind of wealth. It's a mind of prosperity. See, I got a new mind. It's a large mind.
It's a mind that believes all things are possible. Say, I'm large, I'm in charge, and my mind is right in Jesus' name.
Come on, I need you praising God for a transformed mind.
I got to get out of here.
Just let somebody say, my mind has changed.
That's why you can't let the devil make you lose your mind.
Glory to the name of God.
And I'm telling you, you've been thinking down, and that's why you're down. You've been thinking broke, and that's why you broke.
You've been thinking unhappy, and that's why unhappy.
But the Lord told me to tell you tonight, change your mind.
Think rich and you will get rich. Think blessed and you will get blessed.
Think anointed and you will be anointed.
I need somebody to change your mind.
You start thinking great, you will be great. You know what?
I think like a billionaire, therefore I am a billionaire. And you keep on I'm looking and I'm going to have a billion in the bank, a billion in property, a billion in revenue, cuz my mind has already gone there. High five somebody and tell them, 'Asha, my mind!' Come on, somebody!
I feel liberty in this house.
I feel somebody's mind shifted to another place. We just talking.
Hallelujah!
Hallelujah!
Lord, why does my mind need to change? Verse 2 says Romans 12. That you may prove. All right, once you got something to prove, yes.
Show me that.
I ain't got nothing to prove. No, no, I got something to prove. What do I got to prove?
What is good.
That's right. That's his word. Yes.
That word good is bona in Greek. It means what is profitable. Ask a businessman to define profit. He'll tell you what's left over after the expenses have been paid and covered. That's profit.
I got something to prove that out of all the hell I've been through, out of all the rejection, all of the lies, all the people that walked away, all the people that gossiped about me, I got something to prove that out of all the mess, about to lose my mind, hitting rock bottom, losing everything, Oh yeah, I got something to prove. I got something to prove that God can bring you back from zero and raise you up. Glory to the name of God.
So he can get the glory out of you.
Oh my God, I feel like preaching here. Just let somebody say, I'm back and I'm better than ever. And I got something to prove.
You need to know that God is able.
He can bring you out of your worst trial.
Just raise up your I got something to prove.
Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Sit. He through.
So got something to wave in the devil's face.
Some prophet said, you should have killed me when I was down.
You should have took me out 'Cause I didn't feel like fighting no more. He should have killed you past the way crack was in your bloodstream, but he missed.
I know what you're saying. He let you get up to the man you were. But God Almighty, I'm telling you, the enemy should have killed you when there was cancer in your body. He should have killed you when you were crying and going through the divorce. But God, he kept your mind and He's out to prove that you can help profit out of all the hell you went through. Clap your hands and say, I'm still here and I got something to prove.
I'm about to lose it.
Glory to God. Y'all sit.
He ain't through.
He says that you may prove what is good. I'm gonna leave that alone.
And acceptable.
Acceptable is euritos in Greek. Euritos means that, that God has pre-approved. So he only accepts what he ordains. He doesn't accept what you make up.
He doesn't accept what you decide you want to be. But God already has a plan that he has approved. You know, when you walk into a dealership pre-approved, you walk in different.
When you're looking for a house pre-approved, you look different. Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. I'm trying to tell you tonight, when you go through life, you need to walk through life pre-approved. I'm pre-approved for this blessing. I'm pre-approved for this miracle. I'm pre-approved for this breakthrough.
I'm pre-approved to have favor.
I'm pre-approved to be anointed. And devil, you can't do nothing with it, 'cause I got the hand of God. He's already signed, sealed, and delivered it. I need you to run forward and say, I'm pre-approved! See, credit—
my credit ain't always been what it is now.
It ain't always been good.
But when your credit get good, you get stuff in the mail.
They say, you can put your proof in this offer.
We want to give you $100,000 here and $100,000 there because they've already pre-selected you. They've already pre- been elected.
You—
can I tell you something?
You've been elected, selected, and protected by the Father of Heaven, and you're already pre-approved to be blessed, to be—
oh my God—
a person of dominion. I dare you, shout it out! Pre-approved for dominion!
For dominion!
Amen. He said, I'm about to prove what's good and acceptable. There's another conjunction here.
And perfect.
Perfect.
Perfect. Perfect.
Teleios in Greek, which means mature.
Mature. Complete.
God wants to bring your life to full maturation.
Yes, sir.
Stop half-stepping. God said, I want to perfect you. I don't care if you do live in Holmes County.
God said, I got a purpose for Holmes County, and I need some people of dominion in Holmes County that will operate in the perfect will of God and allow the glory of God to come to Holmes County so people We can see people operating in dominion in a place, glory to God, where they said it couldn't happen. You know, one of the reasons I came back to Mississippi, because I remember God prophesying through me years ago that the last shall be first. And God said to me, he said, "So they changed my mind. I'm gonna promote this territory." Probably the main and postfire page daily that things are changing for the better in Mississippi. Can I tell you, Mississippi, God's about to change the tide. He's about to move you from the back to the front.
Oh, oh, can I see somebody? Come here, brother in the blue shirt.
Come here, brother.
Come here, brother.
Come here, brother in the black shirt.
Can you come here right now?
Come here, come here.
Glory to God.
I need another brother. I need another brother. Come here, my man back there on the end.
Come here.
Brother in the blue shirt, you come. I want y'all to line up single file.
Just touch somebody and say, "The perfect will." The perfect will.
Tell them, "The last." The last. "Shall be first." Shall be first. I want you to get in the back. Glory to God.
Glory to God.
Line up.
Glory to God.
So if you've been like little man like this, glory to the name of God, all these big people in front of you, people with money, people with cars, look like the wicked is prospering, look like the wicked is getting more than you. But God says, in the blink of an eye, I'm about to change the timetable. You're not going to even have to do no work.
That's how I'm about to give you—
—shall be first. Now brothers, when I—
look at me, brothers.
When I do this, I want each one— I'm going to do that— I want each one of you just to make an about-face. Glory to God. So you've been fighting through it, you've been going through hell and high water, you don't know how you're going to get there, you got to Got a dream and no money. Got a dream and no help. Got a dream and no support system. But God said, yo, watch me, the last is about to be first.
Y'all turn around, everyone turn around. Notice how the musician changed. The one that was last is now first. I'm telling you right now, God's about to turn it around. And you've been behind, but God, Mississippi, is about to to the front. You ought to give God praise for the Institute. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! You ought to praise God for that. God's moving you from the back of the line to the front of the line. Many of you about to be promoted before the year end. Many of you get 6 increases as we go into 2024. God going to give you money for your dreams and your businesses. I need somebody to shout glory! Please receive that.
Time's got gone.
But you got to make some sacrifices.
That doesn't happen without sacrifice. Greatest enemy to sacrifice is selfishness. Selfishness is the source of all all sin. Selfishness is the source that causes us to miss God because you depend on you and your ways more than you do him and his ways. Everything that makes us fall or separates us from God The middle letter of it is I. Yeah, God, thank you. S-I-N. Because of your sin, you're separated from God.
All right, so you choose to please you.
That's all sin is about, your personal pleasure. And don't look at me like this. I know some of y'all I know some of y'all got your chariot outside that brought you down from heaven tonight and it's waiting to carry you back to glory. You never sinned since you've been saved. The devil and his grandma is a liar.
Yes, you have. Even if you didn't do it, You thought of it.
The Bible says all have sinned and come short of his glory. The key to the sin factor is you have to bring it under control. Yes, that's right. Amen. When sin, who is a spirit himself— we call him Mr. Sin— when he presents himself to you, his, his total goal is to separate you from God. So you have to choose to control what tempts you.
Jesus proved that you can overcome it.
Wait a minute, the scripture says Jesus was tempted, tried on every born yet without sin. Hallelujah! So we can do it. I'm a witness, you can do it, cuz I loved sin when I was in sin.
Okay, I know y'all—
I know, I'm just— I'm talking, let me talk over here, cuz it's people over here.
Listen, the Bible said Jesus was tempted on all things.
The word temptation, which means to test with desire. So even though he was just Jesus, he wanted what he was tempted with, but he denied it. The enemy is not going to tempt you with sin that that you don't want.
Amen.
Look, you can't put no Johnny Walker Red, Jack Daniel's vodka, and all that in front of me. Come on. You can't put no reefer, no weed, none of that in front of me. I'm going to look at that like, what? That's not temptation for me. But God knows what you like.
You only got to talk.
So that's what he puts in front of you, and he continues to bring it to separate you. It's not going away.
I don't care how saved you get, it ain't going away. I tell Felicia all the time, I said, you going to see a man at some point in your life that's finer than me.
And that's true.
No matter— she— listen, I'm saying that comedically, but that's the truth. She gonna see somebody finer than me. We could be sitting watching a movie. I know y'all don't go to the movies no more. This is okay. So we at home in our theater room watching a movie, and someone like Morris Chestnut walks up on you with no shirt on, and it's, it's just like I'm not even there. She— I hear noises like, I'm sitting here. Then I start trying to make statements to compensate for my body that's not anywhere near that.
First of all, that's— this an old movie.
He ain't going to look like that. I didn't know she made it. He fat now. He don't even look like that.
But I tell her, I said, I'm going to see somebody that's finer than you. The reality is it's not going to away. But anything that doesn't go away, you got to control it, and you got to bring it under subjection and say, okay, it looks good, but I can't touch it, because I have learned to value my relationship with God above the pleasures of sin for a season. Jesus!
Wow, Jesus.
There's the other thing that gets you out of the presence of God. It's pride. Wow. P-R-I-D-E. There's that selfishness again. It's all you. You choose to be arrogant. The Bible said pride comes before a fall. And watch this, a haughty spirit before destruction. Pride will kill you. It'll destroy the dreams of God in your life.
Watch this, arrogance leads to aloneness. Arrogant people always end up by themselves.
Nobody wants to be around somebody that know everything. Can't correct them, can't tell them nothing. Watch this. I was telling Pastor in the house, great leaders— we're just having a conversation and I made the statement that great leaders have enough courage to understand that they did not come great alone.
Amen. And it takes humility to know that when you're a leader, you're not the smartest person in the room. There are things that other people have in them that you need to help you do what you got to do. But when you start monopolizing gifts and limit them to what you want them to contribute, you're limiting yourself to success as a leader. I'm learning to give people around me freedom to share.
Share. How can you contribute? It takes a courageous leader to say, I need your help leading me from this point. You have something I don't have to get us through this.
Yes, yes, yes.
See, that's humility. I ain't always been there. Thank God for the new improved me, because that's how you create extra extraordinary results. You employ all of the intelligence around you to bring to pass what God has spoken.
Hallelujah!
I was listening to Pastor talk about the word that the Lord used me to share with him, and he said that he had his wife write up the vision. He knew her strength was in articulating calculating and putting that together on paper. He wasn't so proud. Okay, I'm gonna write this. Write the vision. We got to give it to this man because we need this building. If I write it, we never gonna get it. Are y'all hearing this?
You gotta know, a very smart leader always employs the strengths of others.
Why? I love the worship. I'll sing all day in the wrong key and worship until the glory comes. But my wife is a singer, so she does worship. I don't come in church trying to do worship if she's in the building. Are y'all hearing this? You have to know your strengths. Arrogance leads to aloneness. Watch this, aloneness leads to adventurism, cuz purpose cannot be fulfilled in isolation. So you start taking these adventures that ain't God. Jesus, you start doing things that he didn't ordain, amen, cuz you're by yourself, cuz you need people to fulfill purpose.
Yes, yes, you— there are some people that God has already assigned to your calling and election.
You can't push them away when they show up. You gotta receive them because that's how you're gonna dominate. You need them. Watch this. Adventurism ultimately leads to abortion. You abort the original call, the original election, because you ain't have no help, and you just burn out and start doing something else, and you get satisfied in that, which leads to adultery. Wow. Adultery is not just sexual unfaithfulness to a married person. Adultery means to be satisfied by something that don't belong to you.
You preaching good.
God called Israel an adulterous nation.
Amen. That had nothing to do with sex. Nothing to do with sex.
Had something to do with being satisfied with gods that wasn't him. Right. Some of you are satisfied in a job that God didn't call you work.
Lord have mercy.
Some of you never been to jail, but you're doing time and being satisfied in a bad marriage that God didn't call you to be in.
You preach, Keith.
Some of y'all doing time in situations and circumstances that all it will require you to do is be bold enough to walk away.
Part of the courage you need to sacrifice is the ability to leave when it's easier to stay.
Some people are stuck being satisfied with something God didn't create them to do because it's easier to stay. Well, Lord, I can't leave this job because I got benefits. Lord, the pay is pretty good. It's the first time in a long time I have a stable job. And God's still pulling you to start that daycare. He's pulling you to start your own school. He's pulling you, oh my God, to start your own online business. He's pulling you to write a book. And you, you still say, oh, I need these benefits, Jesus. And he's really the only benefit you need.
Amen. Amen.
Okay, say, I'm created, I'm created to dominate, to dominate. We're coming to a close. 4 quick things around this is what you got to sacrifice. Number 1, you got to make effort sacrifices. Say effort. Effort. That's the energy you exert. The only place success comes before work is in the dictionary.
You're never going to be success successful.
You'll never dominate if you don't put forth an effort. The man of God preached greater is coming. Greater is coming, but you got to be positioned working.
That's right. Okay, you don't believe it?
Psalm 128:2 says you will eat the fruit of your labor. So the fruit you're going to eat will be what you work for. So once you discover purpose, calling, start working in that area. Even if you got to work the job you're working until you get it off the ground, you still need to be working on it.
That's right.
Oh boy, you should be giving— if you give your job 8 hours, you need to give your dream at least half of that when you get off. I'm just saying, it's not going to fall out the sky.
You going to have to work.
He said you will eat the fruit of your labor. Blessings and prosperity will be yours.
I know somebody said we don't need to talk about money, we don't need to talk about prosperity. Yes we do. You can't dominate without wealth. Nothing can be established without money.
I don't care how much—
I know some very glorious, powerful people that are broke. How about a false balance is an abomination to the Lord?
Word of God.
I don't care how much glory you walk in, you can levitate through this building tonight, but you can't make an impact in the world if you're broke.
When you need to get out of prayer and go to work.
I mean, I'm praying all day.
Okay, get up and go do something. You're gonna be broke all day.
Back. Y'all still don't believe it?
Proverbs 12:11. Those who work their land— their land is your authentic purpose. He said you have an abundance of food. But those, oh my God, who chase fantasies, the Bible said they have no sense.
The King James Version said they are fools. So we got a lot of people chasing fantasies, not authentic purpose, not authentic assignment, not calling and election. They trying to be someone else cuz somebody else makes it look easy. I recently, um, about a month ago now, I guess I went to do a meeting in South Florida, and, uh, I didn't like what God was saying to me on the plane, because I knew I was gonna have to smash these people. And by these people, I mean the leadership, because their fantasy is to have a meeting to draw a lot of people because everybody else is doing in and to make it look like they're doing something big to others. Watch this, at the expense of the people they're bringing in.
My God.
And I got there, when I got on the ground, I'm getting the word, and the message was, do you have a crown or are you a clown?
And I start talking about about the spirit of a clown.
Yeah, yeah.
How are you chasing— listen, you should not have a meeting if you can't pay the musicians, you can't pay the drummer, you can't take care of the people you're bringing in.
Yeah, that's right.
You're chasing a fantasy and trying to get somewhere before you're there. I always— I've been saying this for years. Your church, your ministry should be spiritually and financially capable to host guests. If you're not able to host people, preach yourself.
I'm telling you, I done did it.
There have been times I want to bring people in, I said, well, we can't bring nobody in right now, I'm going to preach this meeting.
You can preach.
Listen, at the end of the day, when there's people that's chasing fantasies.
Fantasies. God says that person's a fool.
He said, but if you work your land, do— be where you are, you'll live in abundance. Yes. 2 Thessalonians 3:10. I'm almost done.
He said, well, even when we were with you, we gave you this rule.
Oh, the one who is unwilling refuse to work shall not eat. You don't work, you don't get to eat. So your efforts— you got to make some sacrifices. I never cashed a check that was drawn on the Bank of Heaven. Every check I've cashed in the earth has been drawn on the earthly bank. Even if God influenced me to do what I did to get it, at the end of the day, it had the transaction manifested in the earth.
Money is what you get when you give somebody something they can't get without you.
Look at that.
Yeah, so, so money is what comes to you When you give somebody something they can't get except you showed up.
Jesus. That's why you got to increase your value. You can't sell yourself short. That's why, like I tell you, when I go to work for corporations and we, we, one of the companies we own is also a production company, so we're making documentaries and going places, uh, shooting things for people. Our value is high because because we have invested in the highest equipment and we've invested in our skill set so we can demand top dollar.
Because I know they can't get it except they get it from us.
Yeah, yeah.
But when you sell yourself cheap, that's how people gonna treat you. Yeah. Amen.
You're a child of God. Amen. I'm glad we shouted earlier.
Church yourself, tell I have high value. Come on, sing it.
I have high value.
Say, the world needs me. Come on, declare this.
Say, money is what I receive when I give the world what they cannot get without me.
Say, I have something to give. I said, baby, I'm getting ready to give it. Come on, give God praise for that.
We just talked about this. Someone just hit it and leave.
So, so, so it said effort sacrifices.
Say effort sacrifices. Effort sacrifices. All right, number 2. I'm, I'm out of here. I'm checking out 4 points. I'm going. Number 2 is egotistical sacrifices. Egotistical sacrifices.
Ego.
Ego, edging God out. It means you are more important, your way is more important than God. Ego is your sense of importance. It exalts you above others. And God never told you to do that. And sometimes you want to flaunt your ego for people who have treated you bad, who have said you'll never make it.
But you know what you got to do? Stay humble.
Yes, we already hit this.
I'm just here to leave. All right, Romans 12:3: For by the grace given me, I say to every every one of you—
that's all of you and me— do not think of yourself more highly than you should. Amen. I didn't say it, the Bible did. So when you think more highly of yourself than you should— I said in the beginning, when you try to be somewhere you're not, you're operating in ego, you're operating in pride. Watch this. Be where you are. Just look at somebody. They told me it was rude to point, but point at them and say, always be where you are.
Hallelujah, hallelujah. Y'all getting anything tonight?
He said, watch this, but think of yourself with sober judgment.
I think most of the world, because of social media, yeah, is judging themselves drunk. It's no sobriety. Everybody thinks there's something they're not. Yeah, you got influencers that— I don't call these people influencers, but they call them influencers because they may have 500,000 followers, a million followers. That's drunk judgment if you call them an influencer, a girl that just don't put on clothes so she can get a million followers.
Yeah, you're influencing something, you're influencing lust, right? The Bible said we need to judge ourselves with sober judgment.
We need to be honest. Again, I've already this.
Let me keep moving. In accordance with the faith God has distributed each of you— now watch this— you can judge real sober when you start looking at yourself through the lens of faith and start seeing yourself the way God sees you. Just touch yourself, say, I want to see myself, I want to see myself the way God sees me.
God sees me. Come on, say it.
I like that. Say that again. Say, I want to see myself The way God sees me. See, we're too busy worrying about what everybody else thinks and everybody else's perspective and vantage point of us. But I'm telling you, you need to live for the audience of one and make up in your mind, I just want to see myself the way my daddy sees me. And you know what?
That's real success, when you can walk out what he sees.
Hallelujah!
Oh God, I love you! Hallelujah! I love you, Jesus! Hallelujah! Proverbs 16:18, it says pride goes before destruction and the Holy Spirit before a fall. Say egotistical sacrifice. Number 3, I'm almost through.
Just touch somebody and say he's almost through.
Like right back like the old preacher, say he's almost through.
I know that's Hallelujah!
Yes, Lord! Number 3. So we got effort sacrifices, egotistical sacrifices. Number 3 is emotional sacrifices. You'll never dominate being emotionally attached to things that you need to let go.
Matter of fact, some of us are way too emotional to call ourselves spiritual.
You need to get your emotions under control. Watch this, a lot of stuff that we call spiritual is emotional. Do The word spiritual, pneumatikos in Greek, literally means mature behavior or behavior in faith. It's not emotion. It's not how loud we yell. It's not how fast we run. Yeah, women have the gift of tears. A real man that loves a woman, if she cries eyes, it'll move his heart. Don't go out here and start crying and use it as witchcraft. Seriously, you have the gift of tears. A man with some money got the gift of money. It's all emotional attachment though. Some people get so tied to a man— watch this— you 24 and the man's 58. He's too old for you, okay? I'm talking to somebody right now. I ain't going to call you out, but I'm right there with you.
You need to let that go.
He's your sugar daddy. He just wants you to keep him company, and he paying you to do but you emotionally attached to the money. If he cuts the money off, you're not going to stay there. So you're missing what God has for you. So you got to break emotional attachments.
Proverbs 16:33.
Emotions are toxic to the process of dominion because you can be emotionally attached to religious ways of doing things because it just feels good, it just sounds good, it's just the way we ought to do it. But sometimes we need settings like this, like this moment where everybody's quiet. Yes. Where everybody's listening. When there's no emotion involved, when you're absorbing what's being said. Are y'all hearing me? How many times have you gone to church— not this church, but how many times have you gone to church and you got high emotionally and you got home and didn't remember nothing? Somebody said, what the preacher preach? I don't know, but we sure had a good time. Cuz she was emotional. It was a whole emotional experience. You got to give that up. Proverbs 16:32, watch this. He who is slow to anger— anger is emotion. Some of y'all angry people in here, you will never dominate cuz you don't have no control over your temper. Jesus. At the drop of a hat, you ready to fight. Hey, hey, listen, I haven't forgot how to fight neither, but you have to control it. There are some people I want to knock out sometimes, really just literally like, okay, if this was right, I would put them down right now. Amen. I be finding scriptures.
Whatsoever you find your hands to do Do it with all your might, but you got to control it. Y'all just ain't honest. It's okay.
Watch this. There are some people that go to church, and I've trained people in this realm, so I understand, but they think this is it. So they go to church, and if people are not rolling in the floor, people don't fall out, they think that they have a hat church. But the maturity beyond that is not you falling out.
Don't knock me out if I don't change.
I don't want to go in the floor if I don't leave the building and do something different.
What's this?
For years, from A.A.
Allen to Oral Roberts, I mean, I, I, I've advocated this and trained it.
I still believe that the power of God is necessary. Nobody take this wrong.
Yeah, but it can become very emotional.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, because you'll think, that's all I need, let me get a good dose and let me go out in the flow. Lord, your life still jacked up. Jesus, I'm measuring you. I make you think because it's more to this than that.
Yes, yes, yes, yes it is.
Bunch of broke folks in the floor. No, get up and go work. Jesus Christ. What's this? The text says in here, he who rules his spirit is mightier than he that captures a city.
Yes. So you got to be in control of your emotions.
All I'm saying is, if it's the power of God, let it be the power.
Come on, let it be the glory for real.
So much pseudo-glory, and we need to get rid of that. Because here's what I know: apostles and prophets definitely need to control their emotions. Absolutely. Leaders, pastors, and teachers, you got to control your voice because you'll get up and preach your emotions to people. Yes, this space wasn't designed to preach our emotions. It's designed to help people learn and become better. Y'all get anything? Yes. 1 Corinthians 14:32 says that the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. Yes. Controlling your emotions. So there's certain things that God can say to me that may be lawful but not expedient. So I need to know that certain things I shouldn't say in front of other people, to certain people, because the Spirit is subject to me. But in emotion, because people want to be seen, they just say stuff that they shouldn't side. Last sacrifice. Come on, say it.
Say, effort sacrifices lead me to dominion. Come on, say it again.
Say, effort sacrifices lead me to dominion. Self-egotistical sacrifices lead me to dominion.
Oh, I'm losing y'all.
Let me, let me hurry to a close.
Hallelujah, hallelujah, glory to God. So emotional sacrifices sacrifices. Oh, that sounds better. Say, lead me to dominion. Lead me to dominion. Here we go, finally.
Y'all not going to like this much, but it's the truth. Economic sacrifices. Economic sacrifices. You cannot dominate without economic sacrifices. That's right. Wealth cannot be established without investments. 97% of all Americans work for the other 3%. The 3% of the companies are individuals that employ the other 97%. They are in the place they're in because they transitioned from a consumer to a producer, and they learned how to invest in themselves and to get to other dreams that will create revenue streams so they can employ people. The reason in that 3%— here we go— about 0.7% of that 3% only are people who claim to be born again. Doesn't sound like dominion. We're the employees. I told you, to me it is raga. Can I mention to you, this is what children do. We shouted earlier, but we should be the employers. We should be signing the checks. The church is the poorest demographic on the planet. It's— this is empirical data. It is the poorest of all faiths. I don't care what your faith is— Baptist, Methodist, Church of God in Christ, Pentecostal, non-denominational, glory-filled, whatever your denomination— you still the poorest. It's not about that. I just want to have heaven on earth. No, you need to have more in heaven than on Earth.
That's right. That's right.
Kirk Franklin said, I'd rather have Jesus than silver and gold. That's true. But now that I got Jesus, I want silver and gold, cuz nothing can be established without wealth.
Okay, I'm just giving you facts.
You can Google it.
We're the poorest, all right, but we're created to dominate He said, be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth. Yes, I'm closing. And have dominion.
Rah, control.
We should be able to create a trillion-dollar-plus economy in the body of Christ. So that when you need a house, you ain't got to go to one of the banks, right? We got our own banking system. All right. Glory. Yeah. And it ain't based on your credit score alone. We going to look at your credit, but we also going to look at your timing record. We going to look at your faithfulness to kingdom, and we going to take care of our people. We need businesses where we can employ people.
Yes. Amen.
Do you know that sex trafficking is the largest organized crime ring in the world right now? And even in the United States, we need to be in the position to build facilities to help these people who've been trafficked.
It takes money. Say, I'm created to dominate.
I'm created to dominate.
So 3 areas you got to invest in. One, you got to invest in yourself. Part of the investment in yourself is learning. So once you discover your calling and your election, you need to figure out what you need to learn to be the best at that.
Yeah, that's right. And that's going to require sacrifice. You know why? Because you earn what you learn.
The word earn is in learn.
That's right. Yes.
So if you learn what a lawyer knows, you earn what he earns.
And don't be mad when the lawyer charge you the money when you need him. He done paid the price to charge you that money. Amen. You learn what a doctor knows, you earn what they earn.
Yes.
You learn what— oh God— Warren Buffett knows. You can earn what he earns.
That's right.
We become our own limitation, but we jump and shout and speak in tongues. And listen, I love all of that. I'm going to speak in some more tongues before we done. I already know I am. But guess what?
I understand I got to keep learning so I can—
I can't become a billionaire just because I keep saying it.
I sit at the feet of billionaires.
I read their books.
I go to their conferences. I listen to their podcast, cuz I'm trying to learn what they know, amen, so I can take that same wealth and put it in the kingdom.
Y'all got to invest in yourself. Stop waiting for somebody to do it for you. Amen. You're special, you're authentic. Invest in you. Yes. Secondly, you got to invest in your purpose.
Yes. Purpose. Hallelujah.
So you and your purpose are different. So once you start training and learning and getting yourself ready, now you got to build the dream. So you got to start figuring out, cuz if you don't invest in it, how you going to get other other people to invest in.
You should be the chief stakeholder in your dream.
I'm not gonna give you no money for what you want to do if you ain't put nothing in it.
People come here all the time, say, I got an idea, Apostle, can you help me with this?
Well, what you got in? Well, I ain't put nothing in yet. That's why I'm telling you, well, you need to go get something, then we can have a conversation. 'Cause clearly you don't believe in your dream. Okay, I'm boring y'all.
Third thing you got to invest in—
say economic sacrifice.
Economic sacrifice. Is the kingdom.
Is the kingdom.
I got investments, cryptocurrency, stock market, real estate, stuff I'm doing to create streams. My greatest investment in though, it's what I put in the kingdom. I just created a collaborative partnership with a— because I'm, I'm really on this thing, my wife and I are talking about making sure that we eat clean, that we be healthy. So I just formed this collaborative partnership with a company that grows organic fruits and vegetables, and they have put this stuff in capsules. And I believe— and they've had all these doctors over the last 20 years researching how this will work for your body and cause you to live longer. I know it's going to be a billion-dollar company, so I'm in at this level because I know where it's about to go. I've seen what's been happening. I've been studying what has been happening in the last 5 years with it. Here's the reality: as good as that's gonna be, my investment I put in the kingdom—
Kingdom, yeah, hallelujah—
it's the greatest investment than I am. You know why? Because it's the only sure investment. Yes, sir. Some of this other stuff will fail, but the kingdom—
kingdom—
there's a guaranteed return. Okay, y'all don't believe it. Okay, the Bible said 2 Corinthians 15:10.
I'm almost done. It says, give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart.
Yeah. So the way I give to the kingdom, I got to do it generously. Yes, that's it. It's funny to me that when it comes time to give to the king— I know somebody say, oh, these man talking about money now. Two things in church y'all don't like to discuss: sex and money.
But you want some of both of them.
And most of you want a whole lot of both of them. And some of you need to go somewhere and sit down because you don't need no sex. You too old. Sit yourself down somewhere. Let me go over here.
See, see, at first it was there, now I got to get away from y'all.
Some of you, nothing works no more.
You need pills, everything for it to work.
Sit down. Out. But we got to talk about this, yeah, yeah, cuz it's a taboo subject, but we need money.
And the Bible says we got to give generously without grudging.
It shouldn't be a task to give. Amen.
You should give joyfully-yam, knowing that he's This is the greatest investment you can make. You may not know nothing about real estate, crypto, the stock market, but I'm telling you right now, if you put your money in the kingdom, the King's going to make sure you get a return. Watch this. Listen to what he says. He said, you do it out gradually, you do it generously. He says, because of this—
I'm in the Bible, y'all. He said the Lord will bless you in all the work of your hands and in everything you do.
Hallelujah.
Amen. So you telling me, God, if I give generously and without a grudge, if I give to you in the right way, everything I put my hands on in your will, you going to prosper it? You going to cause it to increase. Why is he doing this?
Cuz you're created to dominate, and you cannot have wealth if you don't sow, if you don't invest.
Okay, y'all still don't believe. Somebody said, oh, just— man, that's under the law.
Okay, Luke 6:38, it says give. Not pray.
Okay, I love praying, but that's not the assignment here, right?
The assignment for return on my investment is giving. Hallelujah. Because somewhere in your praying for money, the Holy Spirit is going to speak to you, say, okay, give.
Amen.
I sow seeds for things I want.
Y'all ain't got to say nothing.
Do I give to get? Yes.
Okay, all right.
Watch what it says: give and it will be given to you. So I think you ought to give to get to me.
Come on. Amen.
Some of y'all don't like this cuz you're stingy, cuz you're selfish. You just give to your folk no more. I feel you cringing. Oh, this man trying to talk.
No, I'm telling you right now how to get blessed. I'm not telling you something I don't practice.
Oh God.
So watch this, I'm going to give you an example of it right now.
So there's— I got several cameras, my wife will tell you, we have a studio, several cameras. But there's another camera I want watched. So right in this moment, the Lord said to me, because what God's about to do in expanding you in media, Pastor and Prophet, that camera he's recording with now is one of my cameras. That's a $3,000 camera. I'm going to leave it in this church.
We're not leaving today, cuz I'm getting enough for a $20,000 camera. So I'm going to place it, and the next time I see you I will have the $20,000 camera to replace that one, cuz I put seed in the ground.
Hallelujah!
Hallelujah! He said, given it shall be given unto you, good measure. Say good measure. Good measure. That means your harvest is always proportionate to what you give. So you can't $5 and $10 God to death and think you're gonna get millions in return. It comes back in a profitable measure based on what you put in the ground.
Then he said, I'm pressing down.
Yeah, somebody say press down.
Hallelujah.
He's like, in other words, I'm going to take what you give, I'm going to step on it, mash it all the way down as low as it can get so you can get more in. Lord have mercy, Jesus.
He said, then I'm going to shake it together. Shake it together means that there going to be blessings that comes in every direction. Direction. That it won't be limited to one source. That I'll send people you don't even know. I'll cause people to call. I'll cause money to show up in your bank account that, oh my God, that you— I don't know how it happened. Glory to God, I went up, checked my account, there's money there.
I had no idea where it came from.
God said, that's me taking what you got and shaking it together. He said, that's a divine source of provision and running over, which means I'm blessing you to be a blessing. I'm blessing you so you can bless somebody else. God knows that's one of my favorite cameras too, but I'm releasing it tonight, cuz, cuz again, I'm—
this is over floor, and I'm making room for more. Y'all hear this?
Hallelujah. Jesus, the measure you use will be measured to you. Proverbs 13:16 says a wise man thinks ahead and a fool doesn't. So what is thinking ahead? That means you sow, you put something in the ground for what's coming. See, when you give, sacrificially, it leaves your hand but never your life. You know what it does when you release it? It moves into your future waiting for you to get there. And when you get there, it's multiplied. All I'm saying to you tonight, you're created for dominion. You got to make sacrifices to get what you need so you can dominate.
Everybody Everybody stand. I'm done.
Here's what I want you to do tonight. If you could play some soft music, man, just instrumental only. No, no singing, just instrumental if you got it. Yes. Here's what I want you to do tonight. If you believe what you just heard, that you're created to dominate, I want you to get out of your seat and come to this altar. I want to pray for you. I just want to pray corporately over you that Dominion will get stirred in you. Just come to this altar tonight, that you'll never think lower of yourself than you should. You'll come on, just pack all around this altar. Come quickly, come quickly. Father, we love you, we praise you, we bless you for these dominionaires, God. These people of rulership, these people that you've called to operate in the spirit of control. Jesus, I believe that all of them have influence. Come, come, come down. Just pack in. Close. There are people behind you guys, come in close. Now when you get here, I want you to lift your hands and just close your eyes. Yeah, I hear that, God. The question is tonight, how bad do you want it? And God said to tell you that you have access to him. And before you pray tonight and I pray I want you just to begin to open up your mouth as an act of desperation. Don't clap, keep your hands lifted. That's, that's a sign of surrender. And you're saying, Lord, I'm here to be a living sacrifice. I'm giving myself away. You sung the song tonight, I give myself away.
So how much are you willing to give up of you so that he can have So that his will can be perfected in your life. Come on, I need you to open
