Destiny & Dominion | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. | Radah Church

Dr. Mike Woods Sr. teaches that dominion flows from fruitfulness and requires dreaming, designing, and building with God. He shares how his own high-paying job ended abruptly, teaching him to trust God's plan rather than his own security. Woods warns that fear and lack of mentorship block purpose, and calls listeners to embrace their authority in their sphere of influence.

I thank you, Lord. I thank you, Lord. You did it just for me. Lord, you did it just for me. Yes, God. Hallelujah. Lord, you did it just for me. Even when I didn't deserve it, you did it just for me. Lord, and I say thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. We say thank you, Lord. We say thank you, Lord. You didn't have to do it. You didn't have to do it. You didn't have to do it. You could have came down, Lord, but you stayed right there. And Lord, I thank you, Lord.
Hallelujah.
Oh God, I praise your name because you're worthy. Because you're worthy, God. Because you're worthy, I worship you, Jesus. Hallelujah! I worship you, Jesus. Glory to God! I worship you, Jesus. Oh God, I worship you, Jesus. Oh, so let it flow, let it flow. Let the rivers of my worship flow to you. Yes, Father. Lord, let it flow. He's in his place. Whatever you need is here. Let it flow. Let the rivers of my worship flow Yes, Jesus. Oh, yes, yes, yes, yes, Father.
We thank you for your anointing that is in this room right now, and that is our declaration. God, we say yes. We surrender our worship to flow to you. We surrender our will to live for you. Take our mind and transform it, God. Take our will and conform it to yours, God. We say yes to you. Do your bidding in us, God. Let your destiny, let your promise flow through us, God. And Father, as we open your word today, speak to us and speak through us. God, God, give your people an ear to hear. Anoint their ears even now to hear what the Spirit would say to us. And Father, let us experience the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of the Holy Ghost today. And we give you praise, God. We thank you that your Shekinah glory is here. We thank you that miracles are in this room, and we thank you that change is in this room, and we give you praise for it now. Thank you for this church, and we despise not the day of small beginnings. We give you praise for what's to come, and we thank you that what's to come will be better than what has been, and we bless you for it now. In Jesus' name, amen. We say yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. We say yes, Lord. Come on, sing it one time with me. Yeah, come on, tell the Lord yeah, yeah.
Tell him yes, Lord.
Come on, tell the Lord yes, my God. Oh, we say yes. Yes, God. Yes.
Yes, hallelujah!
Just clap those hands and praise the Lord. Hallelujah!
Say yes, Lord! Hallelujah!
I don't know about you, but I was glad when he said unto me, let us go to the house of the Lord. Amen.
Jesus, we have— this is what, our 6th gathering since Tuesday. We've been in church every day since Tuesday night, and, um, definitely not complaining, but I am grateful because ministry is my life. Glory to God. We, um, we had the opportunity to preach in Morton, Mississippi on Tuesday through Friday. We were in our church in Jackson on Saturday, and we're back here today. And, um, I'm just excited. The scripture says again that we should bless the Lord at all times, and his praise should continually be in our mouth.
So that's not just in the building, with our life we should be blessing him at all times. Amen. All right, today I'm not gonna be long, I promise you, but I want to continue our teaching on the Dial of Destiny. Y'all remember what we've been teaching? Amen. And we have been Learning about destiny. Praise God. And, uh, we've learned— just about— we're a review before we get in today— that destiny is an inevitable course of events— watch this— planned by God that can be altered by your decisions. God has a destiny that is his optimal reality for your future. You can alter that by making the wrong decisions, and you can end up off course, moving in the wrong direction. And we don't want that, right? So we talked in the first message about destiny and order. Say order. It's very important that you make sure you maintain order in your life So you can fulfill your destiny. If you want to watch that message again, it's on YouTube, it's on my Facebook page somewhere. Go and watch it so you can review it and get that in your spirit. Second message, we talked about destiny and passion. You gotta have a passion to fulfill destiny, and you gotta guard your passion. We talked about how to guard it and making sure you stay focused on what you're passionate about. And then we talked about destiny and conflict. How conflict can literally be an enemy to your destiny that really destroys the whole process. And most people, because they don't manage conflict properly, they live their life and never really fulfill destiny. But I'm just of the opinion that you just have to learn how to identify conflict, use the discernment God gave you, kick it out of your life, and again, be passionate, stay focused so you can get where you gotta go. So today I want to talk about destiny and dominion. Say that with me. Say destiny and dominion. Every destiny that God releases in our lives, individually, because every one of us has one, is because there's an area of dominion he wants us to rule in. Are y'all here? Yeah, there's an area of authority he wants us to walk in. It is really my heart's desire, and it has been for almost 40 years in ministry now. I'll celebrate this year 34 years of full-time ministry. I planted 8 churches and I've gone all over the world preaching. The reality is It has always been my desire to have a healthy balance between what we do in here and what we do out there. Because at the end of the day, we can get so caught up in what happens in here that our life has no fruit out there. And I just need you very, very clear. While all the things that happen in here are wonderful— the gifts, the prophecy, falling on the floor, speaking in tongues— all those things are great. But if it doesn't spill over into fruit in your life, the Bible calls that a false balance. And the scripture says a false balance in Proverbs 14:1 is an abomination to the Lord. So you got to balance the weight. You ought to— you, you— I really, I start questioning people that are so super spiritual and I can't see the fruit in their life, and then they're not even willing to learn what they need to learn so they can manifest fruit in their life properly. Touch your— touch your belly and say, God wants me to have fruit.
God wants me to have fruit.
Say, he wants me to have balance.
He wants me to have balance.
Because all domination— watch this— you can't dominate your sphere of influence, your area of destiny. Listen to this. If you're not fruitful, it all starts with being fruitful. So God has a deliberate strategy on how he gets us to dominion. Two of the things, and I'm gonna mention these and then we're gonna get really in this, are very important. I want you to go to Psalm 16 and we're gonna read verse number 11. Glory to God. He uses these two tools, these two things I'm gonna give you right here, and then we'll get into the meat of this to get us to domination. Because if you skip over these will never dominate. And this is why so many people again never live according to the dominion mandate and really dominate, because they jump over this. Can't jump over this, right? So Psalm 16:11, watch this, it says, thou will show me the path of life. In thy presence there is fullness of joy. At thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore. All right, so, so the first thing that has to happen according to this text— and I'm breaking this down a little before— I'm not— I can't preach this text, I got a lot to cover. But the reality is you got to learn to dream with God. So in order to have dominion and fulfill the destiny on your life You gotta be willing to throw away your dreams, throw away the way you think things ought to be, the way things you think things ought to be working, and embrace the dream that God has dreamed for you. Watch what he says. He says, you will show me. The word show me, and y'all heard me, if you've been in here any time, you've heard me say this word. Because this is a very important word to our life. The word show in Hebrew is yada, y-a-d-a. Yada means to have intimacy, to see things as God sees them. So if God shows you intimately what he sees, it means into his perspective, into his vantage point. So the psalmist, which is David, who's running for his life, by the way, about to be killed by Saul, he says, listen, I need you to show me the path of life. And all of us get to places where we don't know which way to go. That's a good place to be, because when you get there, no matter what you do, no matter how much you complain, no matter how much you cry, What about this? Let me say this to you. God's not interested in your complaining. He's not interested in your crying. He's really not. What he wants is your faith. And what you have to do— and when he backs you in a corner, what he does is he's trying to see how you believe. Because guess what? Adversity teaches you what you really believe. Oh God, have mercy. And a lot of times, to whom much is given, much is required. Some people gonna have it easier than you because they ain't been given what you got. So you got to go through what they don't have to go through. But when you get to that place like David, you got to say, Lord, show me. Yada. Put it in perspective. Let me see this thing the way you see it. Because as long as you keep looking at it through your eyes and through your lens and through the lens of the problem, You'll keep panicking, and you're never going to graduate to dominion. So you need God to touch yourself and say, Lord, show me. Lord, show me. Yeah, he needs to pop your eyes open where you can see it the way he sees it. He says, watch this, the path of life. The word path is orach in Hebrew, and it literally means this. It means the design, or watch this, the thought process. The purpose of God for you. So arach means what God is thinking about you, what he's dreaming for you, what he has designed or put together for your life. So for every one of us, God has designed and put something together. Now we gotta see that though. You'll never see it if you don't ask him. Most of the time people never see this 'cause they don't never ask him, Lord, what you really doing in me? What is the design? What are you really thinking about my life? So many times people wait for others to tell them. They wait for others to validate them. And so many times we have created a definitive value of ourself based on what other people have said about us. And let me tell you something, you're not what they said. Whoever they are, whatever they said or saying about you, you're not that. You are who God says you are. Your circumstances doesn't define you. Your bank account doesn't define you. Where you live doesn't define you. What you drive doesn't define you. What defines you is who God says you are. Say that with me. Say, I am what God says I am, and I must be What he says I must be. You gotta get that in your spirit. You gotta dream with him. The next thing, I want you to go to Psalm 127. Hallelujah. And one, say I got a dream with God. I got a design with God. So dreaming and designing are synonymous. So you, you, because watch this, an architect that designs It's usually somebody's dream. They come to him and say, hey, I want this built, and they design it. Well, God has a dream that he's thinking about you and I. Psalm 127:1, watch this, it said, except the Lord builds the house— oh God. So let's just stop right there and just— this is what you got to do. You got to build with God, right? You can't build your own stuff. Every time you try to build it yourself, God's going to tear it down when you got destiny on your life. Watch this, think about it. Every relationship you thought was God, you thought it was for you, you thought you was happy in the beginning. It was just— you was floating all over the place cuz you just thought that was for you. And God had a way of coming in and disrupting it and tearing it all Because guess what? You shouldn't have been there in the first place. And then we get mad when God disrupted and tear stuff up. It's because we made decisions we should not have made anyway. I can't tell you number of times God have broke stuff up for me that I thought was for me. I had successful stuff that was going super good, and God stepped right in and said, man, what are you doing? I don't need your help. This is distracting you. Let me tear this up. Listen, well, when I signed on to the job, this was in the middle of me being full-time ministry. I was going through one of those seasons where I wasn't preaching a whole lot everywhere, I wasn't making money from my ministry in no way. And I'm like, okay, well, I ain't— I gotta take care of my family. And this is probably 20 years ago. But I said, I know to take care of my family, I gotta work, I need a job. So I went and got a job 'cause I got degrees. But signed on the paper, I, first of all, when I came in the door, I was making a high six figures. I was making almost $300,000 a year. Plus this company was gonna give me $70,000 in stock options the day I came in. Hmm. Because I was coming in as an executive. In this Fortune 500 company. I'm working that job, getting that money. Boy, I was happy. You know what God did? I didn't do not one thing, but there was a witch, a devil that was planted in the camp who started working against me and lying on me, creating all kind of lies about me. And my boss said, just to keep this down, I'm gonna have to let you go. And I was so mad, I was so hurt that I got kicked off that job. But the Lord said, dude, I didn't ask you to help me. He said, what I needed you to do is trust me. All right, what I need you to do is live what you preaching to everybody else. Okay, all right, because you— I need you to let me build your life and you need to build with me. Touch yourself. Say, I gotta build with God. Let me tell you something, you can't outdo God on no day. Amen. I don't care how smart you are, I don't care how good you look, you cannot outdo God on any day. So say, I gotta build with God. Watch this. This is why, because if you don't build with God, the builder's labor in vain. It's not gonna last. In vain means it's empty, it's short-term. So you're building something that's not even eternal. But when I build with God, I'm building something that's going to be eternal and last forever. Oh God, y'all, y'all don't get, don't get worried, ain't gonna be long, I promise you. I just sound like it because I'm reading these scriptures. I promise you I'm not gonna be long. Watch this. Let the Lord watch over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. So we gotta build with God, we gotta watch with God, we gotta move with God in our life so we can achieve dominion. So we gotta dream with God, design with God, build with God. Say that with me. Say dream with God, design with God, build with God. Now if you dream with God, design with God, build with God, you can dominate with God. Because your destiny again is designed for you to have dominion. What is dominion, Michael Woods? I'm glad you asked. Dominion is the Hebrew word rada. For those of you that don't know what that is, there it is right there. Glory to God. It's the Hebrew word rada. It means— watch this— to have complete— say complete— authority. And that means you don't lack authority. In any way in your fear of influence. Let me use an example. Kasai is an authority on this keyboard. He let— he don't lack no nothing when it comes to this, especially if I lined up everybody in this room. They say this room, including me. And he played something, we went behind him and tried to play. it will prove very quickly that he has complete authority and that he is the person that should be playing. It would just be plain dumb for me to sit over there and start playing and think when I put my fingers on those keys, it's going to sound like what he does when he does it. You have to find your space of complete authority. Everybody in this room has a raw dog purpose. You have a purpose out there that you should be living out, that there's an area you were born with complete authority in. You gotta find it and begin to walk it out. See, religion and religious churches and religious preachers, or preachers who watch YouTube to preach, they're not gonna try— they're not gonna tell you how to empower yourself. Because a good leader understands you have to be deployed to do what you got to do. At the end of the day, most people trying to keep people to themselves. They look at people as stockholders and shareholders to keep the business going. But that ain't what church is about. It's about training people for dominion and making sure you can be deployed into your space of dominance. So let's go to Genesis 1:28. Say, I got complete authority in my Rada purpose. Rada also deals with control or oversight. So that means we ought to be leading in society, and your destiny is designed to put you on display as a dominant factor in your area of influence?
Can—
what— those you watching, those who are here, can I share with you that you have an area of influence that's unique to you, that's unique to your destiny, unique to your purpose? My wife is a master chef. She has complete authority in the kitchen, and I ain't mad at Glory to God. You got some husbands, you want to try to outcook their wife. And I was talking to one couple, wife was talking about how she cooked this, did that, and then the husband was like, oh, I cook this. I'm like, man, wait a minute, you would come let her move in that authority. I don't have no desire to cook. And she's saying, uh, cuz I don't want to put nothing, nobody in Grady sitting at the table as I eat, as I cook. Glory to God. It could be a problem, but she's an authority. That's her sphere, that's her realm in, in, in the marketplace and in the kingdom. That's where her gifting lies. She's an authority with her voice. She's a— she's been singing since she was a little bit of a girl. That's what she was born with. That's unique to her. I'd be silly if I'm married to her knowing all that gift in her and I came to church every Sunday, I'm doing praise and worship and let her sit there. That's ridiculous because she sings better than me on any day. She's a complete authority. Touch yourself, say, I'm a complete authority. I have complete control and oversight. In my dominion purpose. Let's go to Genesis 1:28. Watch this. Then God blessed them. Let's stop right there. The word blessed is a Hebrew word that comes actually from a Septuagint word in the Greek called makarios, makarios, or makarios. And it deals with this: it is an indwelt quality of a deity watch this, that is imparted through words. So makarios means that God spoke something over your DNA. He spoke something over your life that he imparted before you even got here. Okay, let me go back to that again. Jeremiah 1:5, before he formed you, he knew you. So, and yada, there's the word no, that's that same no and show. Yahweh in Hebrew. He was intimate with you. He saw you. He spoke over your life. He handled you before you got in your mama's belly. He knew you. And what he did was he pronounced a blessing over you. In this text, he's talking about Adam and Eve, but that same blessing over Adam and Eve's DNA is on us. We have the words of a deity, the words of a king in our life. You know, when a king speaks something, it immediately becomes law. If a king decrees it, it's law. If it comes out of his mouth, it has to be obeyed. Who God has declared you to be, what he has said, it has to happen. Hallelujah. Just touch your rubber belly again. Say, I'm going to live to see this happen. Good God Almighty, cuz he decreed something in your DNA. Amen. That's why what you went through that should have killed you didn't kill you, right? That's right. Because the decree was speaking. Glory to God. Decree was fighting for your life, and you had to live. That's right. This is why when you— if you went to commit suicide, you couldn't do it because there was a word over your life. Oh yeah, that kept you alive. Just rub your belly and say, I got something to do. Hallelujah. And God said to them, this is the blessing: be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it, have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth. So that, that text right there, Genesis 1:28, That is the original dominion mandate for mankind. This scripture is our word from God to dominate, to be in control. Nothing about these words in this text suggests that we should not be in control. Hallelujah. So let me say this right here. Yeah, dominion is not Plan B, it's God's Plan A. Can I say that again? Dominion— say this, people on this camera— it's not Plan B, it's God's Plan A. Glory to God, it's still his plan. While people don't preach it, people don't talk about it, people believe it's not achievable, it's still Plan A. And can I announce to you this morning, this afternoon, it's— it is achievable. You can have dominion. You can move in complete authority. You can rule. Glory to the name of God. In your fear of influence. Oh God. Say it's not Plan B. Say Dominion is still Plan A. Hallelujah. So let me give you some principles about dominating God. First one, write it down: you cannot dominate with God if you're not fruitful. Notice the first thing he said: be fruitful. And remember, in the beginning, the first thing I told you was all dominion has at its substratum, or its foundation, fruitfulness. Hallelujah. So we need to get a working definition of what it means to be fruitful so we can make sure we're doing it. The word fruitful, the Hebrew word is parah, and it— oh God, it means to be fertile, to be productive. Hallelujah, glory to God. It means to be conducive to producing in abundance. Oh God, parah means to be fertile. Y'all know, I know some fertile people. I know somebody got 14 children for real. I told him, I said, you need to tie it up, burn it, do something. That's too many children. Well, we just obeying the scripture. No, let me teach you what the scripture means. It ain't— it was just talking about children. But listen, there was nobody on Earth then, so they needed to be real fruitful. And even then, Adam and Eve only had 2 children. In the beginning, they had Cain and Abel. They didn't have 14. That's a lot of children. Wait a minute, that's, that's another mess for another day. Listen, but God says, I want you to be fertile in producing your destiny. Oh God, fertile means that at any given time you can birth something that connects to God's purpose, God's plan in your life. I mean, fertile people, every time they lay down, they come up with a baby. Y'all ain't got to say that. That's a dangerous thing. Amen. In the spirit, every time you pray or intercede or worship, you should give birth to a part of your destiny. You should be so fertile that every day of your life, pieces of your destiny is unfolding and coming forth. You ought to be prone grown to produce or reproduce in abundance. God never called us to have a little of anything. Oh, everything about God is big. The Bible says that the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, them and they that dwell therein. All of us and this whole earth belong to him. Ain't nothing about God small. So guess what? If it belongs to him, guess who else it belongs to? It belongs to me. It belongs to you. Because the Bible says we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ. Therefore, we are heirs of everything. So everything he got, I got, you got. So why is it that we see so little of that manifest in the life of God's people? It's because they won't take the position of a learner and learn how to bring this stuff forth. I'm telling you, the moment we stop getting more interested in— and again, I love supernatural, I've been doing it all my life. But what I have not liked is to see people with holy hands and people with gifts and empty pockets. Nowhere, nowhere to live, no car, nothing's wrong in their life. We got to figure this thing out where everybody can adhere to God's promise. You know what it is? You got to become fertile. You got to become good ground for your destiny to emerge in. You got to become so fertile that your destiny cannot resist you. You got to become irresistible to God's plan, that you're so in line with God's word and his covenant that the plan of God just comes at you. Ooh-wee! And it just starts manifesting in your life because it can't stay away. You got to go further, and you got to start producing this in abundance. And when you do it, it'll overflow out of you into others. Oh my God. So fruitfulness means to be deliberately engaged in the process of bringing forth fruit. Every morning you wake up, you want to be thinking, I need to be super productive today. I need to bring forth abundance out of my life today. How do you be fruitful? The scripture said, be fruitful. Notice he didn't give them apples. He did not give them oranges. He, he did not give them watermelons. He not give them flowers. Or vegetation. Guess what he gave him? He gave him seed and told him, plant these seeds to produce after their kind. So wait a minute, the substratum of any manifestation in dominion and our destiny, that is a seed. Well, the first seed has been planted by God. That was that word he spoke over your life. See, you gotta find out what's been planted in you because a lot of people are not clear about that. You gotta know if you're an apple or orange, and not literally an apple or orange. You gotta know if you're a doctor or an apostle. I know some folks that start calling themselves apostles, that surely they are something else other than an apostle, because you, you gotta know What's poking over your life? Okay, all right, all right. So he says, be fruitful, plant, cultivate fruitfulness in your life every single day. So here's the process. So what God does, he plants a seed bed. And my wife singing and cooking like a size plane, he plants a seed bed of gifts and talents in our life. That's the first step to being fruitful. Again, that word, that seed is in you. What you have to do next is yield those gifts and talents— watch this— to service. See, the gifts were never meant to just stay in you. My wife is gifted to cook, and my Jesus, I want her to go in the kitchen and cook. That gift does no good in her belly. Because I can play, that's why I want him here, so he can play and help us usher in worship. That gift would do us no good if he didn't play. I'm gifted to preach, to teach. It does no good if I got up here, just close my mouth. It does you no good, does nobody any good if I decided not to study and allow this gift to be of service. This gift would be nothing if I said, oh God, I'm just waiting till we get 100 people, I'm not saying nothing. That's ridiculous. That's just dumb. I need to use this gift in service. This so they can bring forth what God's plan is for the fruit. So if you got to give and know you got it and you ain't using it, it's really just like you don't have it. It's really like you're saying to God, you gave me this, but so what? I'm gonna do what I want to do. It's a lot of people like that. They know that— they know what they're walking came in and won't use it. And you're saying to God, whatever, I'm gonna do what I want to do. And guess what? That's called transgression. When you're clear about the seedbed that's in you and you don't lend it to servanthood, you're rebellious. And the scripture says rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. So technically, you become a witch, a against yourself. You don't need candles, you don't need nobody else manipulating you, throwing bones. No, you're the witch because you're rebelling against God's plan, his idea, his dream, his seedbed in your life. Oh boy, y'all get some out of this. So those gifts and talents, when we sow them into the world, into culture, into the kingdom, again, they become service. Say service. Service. Now here's the problem with service, especially in the church. Let me say this right here. The church has a problem here because, again, leaders don't understand people are designed to move in servanthood, but they're not designed to stay there so long in the church. That they become slaves. Because there are people that want you to just serve their vision, to serve what God has for them, and not really prepare you for what God has for you. They don't care nothing about what's in you. Oh God, it's happening everywhere, I promise you. Most— I talk to people, and then I won't— yeah, I'm trying to get better about calling names.
Jesus help me.
But many churches— I talk to people all around the country from mega churches of all kinds because I have thousands of people that follow me online. So people, you know, it's— I don't like it. And then in a way, it gets me to hear the heart of people where people just have a direct connection to me through an inbox. Some people don't need to inbox you. It's just some of that stuff I don't want in my inbox. I just don't want it. But then when you connect to people who are a part of these quote-unquote mega ministries who are frustrated because they're serving in the ministry— I talked to one lady who was a bona fide prophet, but she's been working in hospitality at a mega church for 15 years, and she, she invites me, said, I'm just so frustrated. She said, I heard your message on Apostolic Continuity. and I realized I'm not continuing toward what God called me to do. She said, I've been at this door at the church for 15 years. She named the church. She said, but every time some kind of come in the door, God's giving me words. God wants me to— and then she started prophesying to me in the inbox. I said, Lord have mercy. She, she was really— and she was on point. It's because her gift was sitting there dying. It had not been sown. Into culture. It had not been sown or stirred because you can, as a leader— leaders, pastors that follow me, listen— you can enjoy the fruit of those that serve your vision, but then you can at the same time, if you're not careful, be killing their future. Enjoying the fruit but killing the future. That's a dangerous piece because everybody is building a kingdom to themselves and not really concerned about the multiplicity of ministry and deploying people. Because next step after fruitfulness is multiply. You can't multiply until you deploy. Oh God. So let me— let's move. We're talking about Dominating with God. That's just— oh, again, that's a whole another message for another day. But to be fruitful by Siforus, you have to understand that it cannot become fruit until that seed is sown. Those gifts and talents become service. Say service. Service. Now watch this. When you serve effectively, the service becomes credibility. So Mama releases a gift in song, it's credible. Nobody that listens to her sing can never say she can't sing, right? It brings credibility. Amen. Because she's doing— when Kasai plays, you can never say Kasai can't play, cuz we never rehearse, we never prepare. All this is flow. His ear is that good that whatever's going on, even when I'm up here in the wrong key, he can I can do it. That's credibility. Are y'all hearing that? So you cannot get credibility in your gifting, and you can't really ever have domination in your destiny if you ain't credible. You have to wear a crown of credibility so people can trust what you carry. I, I trust the mic in my wife's hands anywhere. I'm trying to get her, uh, just get out of the box a little. So next season, I'm gonna make sure that she do the national anthem at one of the Hawks games, because even if she's singing the national anthem, the anointing on her voice, the credibility is on her voice, and people are gonna feel God through her voice. Are y'all hearing this? The reality is you got to find what makes you credible. You can't really have credibility when every time you open your mouth you saying what somebody else said. Oh boy, you can't have credibility when you stealing things that really you didn't birth out of you. As I understand, again, I always say that people gonna sound like they leaders, people gonna pick up things in culture, but at some point You'll get your own identity. You shouldn't sound just like your daddy or your mama. I don't sound like my natural parents when it comes to life. I mean, we just— they raised me, but they— I'm not them. At some point, you grow into your own person. It's not credible when I hear you and I hear me, just like me. Oh, y'all ain't saying nothing. You gotta get some credibility and get your own fire. I got sons and daughters and I tell them all the time, man, please find your own fire, because a lot of people follow you that don't follow me. Then they hear me and think I'm trying to preach like you. And Negro, when you came to me, you couldn't even talk. Are y'all hearing this? So you gotta figure out who you are. Oh, y'all excuse me, I'm sorry. I'm just real. You gotta get some credibility. What makes you credible is the unique seed that's in you. God, touch your belly. There's a unique seed in me. There's a unique seed in me. Now watch this. Credibility sustained— here we go, we get into dominion— it produces influence. So you sustain the unique, authentic credibility that's in you. Oh my God, it creates influence. Are you hearing this? Yes, yes, because that's— influence is the ability to attract followers, the ability to magnetically draw people people to your gift. I appreciate God over time, how I've been able to see God do that in my life, how to take nothing and build something. At the end of the day, whether it's business or ministry, I've done it. But it's sustaining credibility so that people are comfortable with what you walk in. Oh God, watch this. And then your influence, it produces an atmosphere. See, when you operate in your authentic credibility and influence, there's an atmosphere that follows you. Nobody else can be Benny Hinn. There's an atmosphere through the credibility he created that follows his ministry. Even though people play the music like him and try to talk like him— oh, glory to God— he can't be him. At the end of the day, ain't one been here. You have to again find your own flow. Are y'all here? Amen. Watch this. An atmosphere sustained— I'm almost through— produces a culture, and that's where dominion comes forth inside a culture. We gotta stop what I call the generational genocide. We're not producing generations because we're not teaching people authenticity. We're not— we don't have generations coming behind us that are rare and fresh because we're not teaching people authenticity. Now, I do have some people connected to me that have authentic flow, authentic flavor, and I'm glad about it because they're producing a generation in their generation of people— are y'all hearing this— that are flowing where they need to flow. But we gotta stop killing the future because one, we don't mentor. Say mentorship. Mentorship. So your destiny needs a mentor. Somebody said, Woods, what are you talking about? That's the proper teaching and training. Mentoring is impartations. You need somebody that have already walked the same way you walked after you to where you're trying to go, and you got to be open to listen. The worst thing in the world is to have somebody that refuses mentorship, that thinks they have arrived and don't want to get mentored. Say mentoring. Mentoring deals with— and I believe too, it's the missing link to forward movement and dominion. You got to find experts who are in, in corporate America, they call them SMEs, subject matter experts. Y'all find experts in the kingdom who understand what you're trying to accomplish, and they can walk you through it because you earn, for real, what you learn. And if you're talking to somebody that have not done what you're trying to do, they cannot take you very far. They can give you philosophy, they can give you education, but it's the encounter and the experience that's going to help you get where you need to be. Mentors have a real challenge that they've overcome. All these life coaches and mentors out here that charge you money to be a mentor, half of them folk ain't never been through that theyself. Listen, how you a life coach and a mentor and you charge somebody $300 a month to be that mentor and you 28? You can't make demands unless you in demand. I'm saying it again. You can't make demands unless you're in demand. What puts you in demand is the fact that you have sustained your credibility and you have influence. Watch this. T.D. Jakes can charge $1,000 an hour to mentor somebody because he has credibility with people who trust his wisdom, and he has been sustained. But somebody that's never been through anything, we might as well put a baby up here and let them talk to us. Let's go ahead and put a little baby up here and say, talk to us. Because that's basically what we're getting when we connect with things that have no encounters, no experience. So we gotta kill this genocide that comes from lack of memory. Watch this, it also comes from a— say this— a lack of mentoring. A lack of mentoring. But it also comes from a lack of mantles. Say mantles. Mantles is the transference of spiritual DNA. So you need people in your life that's got a real mantle on their life to transfer spiritual DNA to you, not somebody just that just went to seminary. I have seminary degrees and I almost got kicked out because of the anointing on my life. Because I always challenge professors because of the anointing in my life. But you gotta have a mantle that's beyond a formal education, that is transferred into your spiritual DNA, that gives you the boldness and the confidence to move in your area of fruitfulness. And then what that produces— mentors, mantles, they produce manifestations, they produce the rewards of you subjecting yourself to the mentor or to the mantle. Glory to God. One of my daughters sent me a text, then I talked to her on the phone. I said, Dad, I just want to apologize to you for something. And you know, I didn't need that, but it was mature of her to do it. And she said, I understand some of the things that happen in my life are happening because I wasn't there for you. I wasn't there for what I needed, and I got unplugged where I should have got unplugged. And at the end of the day, that's big to admit that and then say, okay, I'm gonna submit to the authority I need and get it so I can manifest the promise of God. My God, I'm almost through. I told you I just sound long. Y'all learn anything? Yes. So you won't manifest— go to Proverbs 13:22, because what happens is we really can't produce dominion through our destiny if we don't have an inheritance that comes after us. So what's in us should be multiplied in other people. Be fruitful, multiply. Proverbs 13:22. Lord, I hope that's Jesus calling. Proverbs 13:22. A good man— watch this— leaves an inheritance to his children's children, and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. So wait a minute, the word inheritance is a Hebrew word, nakab, which means to bequeath, to leave with full authority or vested authority in what you left. So a good man, not— or a good woman. So a good leader is going to pass on legacy to those that follow them. A good mother, a good father is going to pass on legacy to their children. And the Bible says here it's going to begin to pass down to the children's children. This is called the multiplicity of ministry, or the multiplicity of destiny. When you take what you have and you're not so selfish that you can release it to other people. See, there's some people that have learned how to get it done. But because they're trying to build it to themselves, they won't pass the inheritance on to you. But there shouldn't be a consistent and constant multiplicity that goes from generation to generation to generation. And as long as the earth remains, seedtime, harvest. Uh, young kid, not— that's— people use that for money and fruit, but that's also for destiny. So if I plant— destiny is planted in me, I planted my children, they planted their children. They learn a model of passing on destiny. So I'm not just interested in leaving things to my children, I want to leave destiny in them. I want to leave legacy with God in them. That has to be the mindset. That has to be the thing that when you're gone, they still carrying on the name of God, right? They still lifting up the name of Jesus, because you put that in them. Oh God, help us. So here we go. What happens when we don't do this? We become indentured servants. Uh, indentured servant is a servant that never graduates servanthood and becomes one that serves as a leader. You'll always be serving, but servanthood, where you become a slave to a situation, you become an indentured servant where you just, like that lady that had been doing it for 15 years. She, everybody expects to see her. 15 years, the head of the hospitality team expects her to lead. But that is not who she is. You can't become an indentured servant where you just accept something because somebody said this is what what you ought to be doing. You are who God says you are. I'm almost done. So you can't dominate without being fruitful. That was a lot. I'm gonna go real fast now. I'm almost done. Go to Hebrews 11:6. Are y'all getting anything out of it? Yeah. Y'all want me to stop? I'll stop. Hebrews 11:6. Watch this. The Bible says that without faith Faith is pistis, P-I-S-T-I-S, which means to be totally reliant, absolutely confident. Hallelujah! You had Jesus calling you, now she FaceTiming with Jesus. It means to be totally reliant, absolutely confident, totally dependent upon It means to leave what you can see for what you can't see. So the scripture says, without faith, without leaving what you can see for what you cannot see, he said you can't please God. Amen. You can't bring pleasure to him. Watch this. He says, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them who diligently seek him. So when you come to God, you got to believe that he is. Somebody say he is. He is. See, this thing is real, man. God is real. Amen. He's not some figment of our imagination. He's God from everlasting to everlasting. He's God. Hallelujah. Listen, there are not enough words to define him. So when we start looking at the etymology concerning God, you would think that they would have picked a big long word because he's so awesome. But instead of coming up with this big long word to define such a huge entity, the writers who begin to describe God reach down into the core of their creative existence. I said, we don't know what else to say, but he's God. It's a little G-O-D. He's God. And guess what? He's God all by himself. He's bigger than every struggle. He's bigger than every problem. He's bigger than sickness. He's bigger than poverty. He's bigger than what the world is doing and the secular things that are happening around us. He's God. He's just God. He's just God. He's God. And my result Yes, it's just give me God. While people are running after everything else, just give me him. Because you want to find out, if you get God, you got everything. And what we want to make sure we're doing is by faith bringing pleasure to God. He said without faith— so here's the second point: you cannot dominate in your destiny without faith. You have to believe God. And there's going to be so many things that tempt you to get off focus of God. Sometimes the circumstances will look more real than God, they'll seem more prevalent than God. But that's the time you got to stand still, like God said to the Israelites, and see the salvation of God. Sometimes you're trying to move, you're trying to make it happen. You just gotta be still. All right, hallelujah! Because God knows where you are. Just, just, just, just start— somebody next to you say, he knows where you are. Tell him he knows where you are and he knows where you're going. His reality— God knows exactly where you are right now. He knows what's happening all around you. He already knows the everything that he has planned. And you got to make up in your mind, in spite of this, I'm going to trust God. Notice he said here, without faith you can't please him. He didn't say without gifts. Hallelujah. He didn't say— because you can be without some gifts or have some faith and still bring pleasure to God. See, we running out of gifts, we running out of having a deep walk with God, because I just need you to have some faith. God says, I need you to trust me when you can't trace me. Come on now. I need you to trust me when you don't know what's gonna happen next, because I am God. The Hebrew called him Elohim, which means he's the Lord God Almighty. That's the plurality of who he is. That means everything in him we need is already done. Elohim says that there's nothing he has to do but is already done. All right, all right. Elohim suggests that God has already finished it. So what I'm trying to get you to see, if you're going to have domination in your life, you're going to have to trust that it's already done. It's not over yet. And though it feels like it, and though you want to throw in the towel, you know, every time in my life I'm throwing in a towel, God God was so God, he threw it back at me and said, you can't quit, you can't stop, you can't give up. He will throw the towel back every single time. All right, you gotta grit your teeth and dig in and say, I'm gonna stand here, let the wind blow, let the storm come, but I ain't going nowhere. I'm gonna stay with God.
Yeah.
God's greatest joy is to be trusted. His greatest grief is to be doubted. You got to trust him. So you can't dominate without faith. So you can't dominate if you're not fruitful. You can't dominate without faith. Here's the last one: you cannot dominate with God if you live in fear. Fear is the devil's faith. It's the direct opposite of faith. Matter of fact, fear and faith are inept to each other, which means they can't stay in the same room, they can't occupy the same space. Either you have faith or you don't. You can't have faith and fear at the same time. It's like being a little bit pregnant. You can't be either pregnant or you ain't. Oh yeah, I'm a little bit. No, you whole pregnant. Yeah, not just a little bit, you whole pregnant. Glory to God. Even in times where it seems like fear is appropriate You cannot choose fear over faith. You got to trust God's ability to bring you out. Go to 2 Timothy 1:7. Let me show you why. And I'm almost done. This is my last point. Y'all stay with me. Hallelujah. I love all y'all. I'm gonna let y'all out early. This message could have went a whole lot different. I'm telling you right now, we could have been here 3 more hours. Promise you, I done condensed all of this. 2 Timothy 1 and verse number 7, the Bible says this: For God has not given us— what?— a spirit of fear. So God said, I ain't gave you fear. Now, he didn't say you didn't have it. He said, I didn't give it to you. So when fear shows up, you know that's not God. The word fear here in the Greek is dehilia, D-E-H-L-I-A. It means a cowardice from fright. It means you get frightened and you become a coward and you have no courage to face what frightened you. There's a lot of people who walk in fear every day. And they'll never dominate because they fear getting old. It's the folk now, they fear getting old. Oh Lord, I don't want to get old, what my children going to do? They going to put me in the old folks home. They going— yeah, Lord have mercy, if I get old, am I going to be humped over and sick and can't take care of them? So they're afraid of getting old. Listen, I don't fear getting old. I said my children down, I said, hey, listen, I'mma leave y'all a whole lot of money. What I need y'all to do is make sure that no matter what happens, I'm taken care of. And I'm gonna live with one of you. I gotta live somewhere. I'm checking out the novels on y'all. Move me in, give me a suite or somewhere. Y'all ain't even got to come check on me. I'm gonna be there though. Then I need you to hang a picture of me over your fireplace somewhere so people know I'm responsible for all of this. My youngest boy said, but Dad, I don't want a picture of you in my living room. I said, well, you ain't gonna get nothing. I'm about to write you out right now. What are you talking about, bro? But you can't fear what life will bring. Some people fear going broke, so they'll never spend no money, they'll never go on no trip, don't never buy themselves nothing, because they're afraid by spending this little money I got I'm gonna go broke and I ain't gonna get no more. You can't fear that. You gotta put faith in God's keeping power. People fear sickness. My mama had cancer, my daddy had prostate cancer. They feel they gonna get it. You gotta put trust in the word. God didn't give you that. They fear that they're gonna get jacked and can't drive in certain— listen, I go— I'm from Atlanta. I go here very well. I'll go get out my car, go witness to some drug dealers on the corner, start talking to them while they're dealing a drug deal. Because at the end of the day, I'm not afraid. And my wife tells me sometimes, boy, you just— but I'm not afraid of anything. Because no fear— just don't say no fear. You got to choose to move in faith. All right, all right. Go to Luke 21:26. Watch this. You fear getting diseases, you'll get one. The word disease is dis-ease. It's worry, it's fear. D-I-Ease. Your ease is divided. You get worried and it brings sickness to your life. Most folks are sitting there and worried themselves up on diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure, and dementia because they sitting there worried about, oh, I'm gonna lose my mind. I confess every day by faith that I'll never have Alzheimer's. That I'll never have dementia. I confess in the name of Jesus every day I'll never have cancer. I'll never die of sickness, but I'll live in this earth in goodness and prosperity and health, because that's the promise of the word. Yeah. So I don't accept it just because the world accepts. Watch it. Luke 21:26, it says men's heart would be failing them for fear. So this is what's happening in our society. The word heart there is not the heart, physical heart, that's 6 inches below the collarbone. This word is kardia in Greek, and it's the center of a man's moral actions, the center of man's passions, his intellect. Your heart is your ability to make decisions. Your heart and your soul are synonymous. Kardia and soul is synonymous. Your intellect, your ability to think, your ability to touch, your ability— because guess what? You can't see touch. Your hands are just a vehicle that you touch with. I can't see the touch, but touching is an actual emotion because I'm touching my wife and I promise you it's doing something to her right at this moment. But you can't see that. Hallelujah! You can't, you can't see it. I can't see sight, right? My eyes are just a vehicle to which sight is administered, but sight itself is invisible. Here's what I found. Ain't nobody ask you that. There's Jesus on the watch everywhere. Sight is manifested through the eyes. Think about that. You can't see— you can't see your mind. Your brain is just a faculty that holds your thoughts. If I snatch your brain out your head and lay it on this chair, you would never see your thoughts. You can cut it open and won't see your thoughts, but you have them. That's your cardia. That's what's failing people, for fear. The invisible lifestyle, the invisible realm is failing because they are afraid of moving away from what makes them comfortable. Because the system of the world is comfortable. The world's way of doing things is comfortable. Listen, I got, I got a friend I went to high school with. And I've been witnessing to him and, uh, takes some time for people like this. Now he's so dependent on the world system. He depend on the world system and has made tons of money in the world illegally. So I'm trying to tell you, look man, you've been blessed that you never went to prison because you out here doing, you know, he's like kingpin. And at the end of the day, Like, bro, you gotta stop. You gotta give your life to God. But that system, he can't, he fears, all in the kingdom is fear. He fears if I let this go and put faith in God. And I'm telling him all the time, man, God can do the same thing for you that he does for me without doing it illegally. But you gotta come out of that system. That's what's wrong with our world. They don't move in faith. That's what's wrong with saints. They are afraid to trust the invisible. You can't dominate when you don't trust the invisible. Okay, all right, let me go. He says, 'Men's hearts filled with fear and expectation of all things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven will be shaken.' So fear will hinder us from doing things on a large level. I'm done. Fear is infeasible. It gets inside of you like a cancer and it starts eating away at you like cancer, and you'll never do anything big. Fear impeaches large service. You try and do something on a big level, you'll never be able to do it because you Got too much fear. Fear will whiten your hair and shatter your health. Fear will cause you— you could be the most gifted person in the world, like Whitney Houston or Michael Jackson, but fear calls you to take drugs to go to bed and take drugs to get up because you don't know how to handle what what you have been blessed with. You cannot dominate moving in fear, cannot dominate without faith, you cannot dominate if you're not fruitful. So fruitfulness, fear, faith— what God wants us to dominate in our area of influence. Hope y'all got something. Y'all stand, y'all stand, please stand. Glory to God. We sing praises to your name.
Genesis 1:28 says that we should be fruitful, multiply, subdue, replenish, and have dominion. This is the dominion mandate. The word rada means dominion and authority.
