DESTROYING THE YOKE OF LIMITATION | DR. MIKE WOODS | 22 JAN 2025

Well, grace and peace everybody. Thank you for being here tonight. I don't know how you found us, but however you did, listen, I'm glad that you're here. Please share this with someone. I know tonight is going to be phenomenal. Listen, this video could be the very difference between your now and your future, so don't scroll, stay here, share this message is gonna be phenomenal. Tonight, I'm gonna be talking about breaking the spirit of limitation. You know, limitations are designed to restrict you from fulfilling purpose, solving problems, maximizing potential, and ultimately taking dominion. So we gonna find out some important keys tonight on how to break that spirit of limitation, break that spirit of Pharaoh, and break that spirit of and move into the promises that God has for our life. Look, enough talk. Let's go into the message tonight. It's going to be phenomenal. I'll see you inside. Joyfully-yam. All right, here we go. Listen, I'm excited to teach this tonight. It's going to be great. Is going to be phenomenal. I need you again to make sure you share this. Your word declares, he who the Son sets free is free indeed. So Father, that simply implies that we should be operating without limitation. We should be experiencing freedom in every part of our life. Freedom in our family life, freedom in our finances, freedom in our health, freedom in our profession, in our purpose. So Father, I'm asking you tonight as we release this word, let us experience the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of the Holy Ghost. Do something unusual in this teaching tonight. Do something man cannot do. Charge this atmosphere, saturate the walls, and let your Shekinah glory be revealed. Father, we thank you right now that what's to come Hallelujah, will be better than what has been. And we praise you for victory in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. Listen guys, I love y'all tonight. Y'all are so amazing. You're so good. I want to get right into this because I believe that again something very unique is going to happen in this teaching tonight. So let's jump right into this again tonight. Well, we're talking about the Pharaoh spirit or the Pharisee spirit, and we're going to drop some keys tonight on what it means to break the yoke or destroy the yoke of limitation. Because I believe many people and some of you listening to me tonight are actually stuck or you're going in a circle or maybe an old mindset has created an impediment or blockage to your forward movement. The reality is this is not the will of God. God has designed so much more for you. He has so much more in store. So I want you to stay with me tonight. This thing is going to be revolutionary. It's going to be life-changing. So let's get in it. Let's get in it. Let's look at our main text for the— for this 'Cause I think this is gonna probably spill over into my Sunday message. So let's look at the main text, which is Isaiah 10:27. Let's read it, and then we're gonna read a few more supporting verses, right? And then we're gonna get into the teaching, okay? So Isaiah 10:27 says this. It says, "And it shall come to pass." Now, anytime you read, "And it shall come to pass," or "It came to pass" in the Bible, It is announcing that history has occurred or will occur. In this instance, it says history will occur. Can I submit to you right here that wherever you are and whatever you're dealing with tonight, God is working on— woo!— a testimony so that at the end of it, You can declare it came to pass. It's history. Matter of fact, I believe there are people listening to me right now who have been counted out. Many people have said you will never bounce back. Listen, I have been there, man. I have hit rock bottom. I've lost everything. And many people wrote me up. Matter of fact, I got an inbox with somebody that said, I thought you were dead. But you know what, God has a— oh, shaw, oh, I feel— I'm trying to be nice tonight, glory to God, but I feel the anointing. You know, the reality is God will take you through public trauma, public failure. He'll, he'll allow others to establish an opinion of you, hallelujah, so that he can turn it all around and get the glory out of your life. And I'm, and I'm here today to tell you that I can testify that it came to pass. Glory to God! There, and then I even know there are more things to come. There are prophetic utterances over my life and your life that God yet wants to bring to pass. And can I tell y'all something? You better make up in your mind you're going to stand still You're gonna see the salvation of God and you're gonna walk this thing out. Oh boy, I done stayed on that too long. Let me keep moving. The Bible says, "It shall come to pass in that day." All right, your day of deliverance, your day of breakthrough. And can I tell you, your day of breakthrough, your day of deliverance, your day of winning, it's here right now. Even while I'm talking, your day of coming through and coming out is here right now. Glory be to God. That his burden, watch this, shall be taken away from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed. Oh my God. Because of the anointing. So who's yoke? And so here, I want you to hear something. The word yoke in Hebrew is ol, ol is how it's pronounced. It's O-L, but it's pronounced ol. And this word, it literally means, I mean, literally it means something around your neck that restricts forward movement, that restricts progress. Watch this, that causes limitation. Glory to God. And let me tell you something, no matter how much you speak in tongues, no matter how much you pray— and I'm not against speaking in tongues, I'll probably speak in some before this night is over— the reality is I'm saying you can go through all of the supercilious and super spiritual, uh, ideologies and exercises, right, and still have areas of your life where you have yokes that need to be destroyed. And what I am— oh my God— bound by the Holy Ghost to do is make sure if you keep listening to me that you get the information that's going to help you remove those limitations and move forward in your life. And the Bible says here the yoke will be taken off your shoulder, that yoke that's holding you down. That yoke that's restricting you from forward movement, from maximizing potential. He said the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. I'm going to deal with this in a minute. The anointing is— it is the fatness. The word here is shemen in Hebrew. It's the fat part, it's the profitable part of God. It's the manifestation of God's Spirit, hallelujah, and power. Oh boy, in your life, glory to God. It is the anointing, praise God, is that that is left over as residue for you to use for your benefit. It's the fatness, it's the profit from it. It's cutting away from all of the— watch this, here we go— all of the religious processes, all of the things that look like the anointing, that may even sound like the anointing, but actually taking the substance, the fatness from the Spirit, applying it, rubbing it upon your life so that limitations are broken and your life is changed. Oh my God. So I'm truly just supposed to be reading these. Let's go to Galatians 5, and I'm gonna just read because I mean, because I'm gonna teach in a minute. Galatians 5, praise God. In 1, the Bible says this, the Bible says, stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free. All right, I'm not gonna touch it, we'll touch it later. And be not entangled again, hear that, with a yoke, there's the word again, of bondage. All right, I'm not gonna touch it, man. I want you right now, go to Zechariah, praise God. Zechariah. Lord is good, he's kind. Zechariah, hallelujah. Some of you got to fast and pray to find Zechariah. Zechariah 4, uh, verses 6 and 7, you'll find these words. The Bible said, then he answered and spake unto me, saying, this is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, not by might— here we go— nor by power, but by— here we go— my spirit, says the Lord of hosts. I'm not going to touch it, I want to. Verse 7: Who art thou, O great mountain, before Zerubbabel? Thou shalt become a plain, and thou shalt bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. Oh my God, we're going to deal with this in a moment. But I want you to understand something. God's saying you're about to bury everything that has been slowing you down. You're gonna erect a headstone for that yoke. Glory to God. And, and you're gonna be able to chant unto God and unto the world that it was grace, or the empowerment of God, that brought you to this place you're in right now. Oh my God, go to John 8. And 36, which is— we've been— this is our theme for the year, glory to God. Uh, and I've been reading this. I just got through with a series on the mystery of freedom because we've declared this is the year of freedom. Then watch this: you cannot experience true freedom without power, and you definitely cannot experience— and we talked about this all last month, all this month, and, and some of last month— but you cannot experience true freedom and power neither. Hear me, hear me. Omansa kete bokush kitatai. Rebebe kandi dikush kete tabosea. God, I love you. You cannot experience true power when you have yokes and limitations that are restricting your life from problem solving, from finishing purpose, from maximizing potential, from— watch this— seeing vision clearly. So those limitations have to be broken. Uh, Zerubbabel's name in the text— oh my God, I said I'm gonna do this— it means in Hebrew, that which was sown in Babylon. Oh, so many a times, because— and Babylon deals with captivity, it deals with restriction, it deals with incarceration. So Even though you got saved, many a times the Babylonian system— oh boy— is still in your life. Oh God, can I teach this tonight? Many times the Babylonian system— you're saved, go through the motions, but you have not dealt adequately with the Babylonian system that still operates in your life. Whether it be in how you approach finances, whether it be how you approach work or career. Some of you are saved, but you approach every other area of your life with a mindset of what was sown in Babylon, or what the Babylonians teach for survival. Oh, I don't have time. I'll get in it later. Okay, okay, I'll get in later. All right, Genesis, Genesis, I'm sorry. John 8:36. I'm sorry, I— that's where I'm supposed to go. John 8:36. Y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all, y'all forgive me, I just feel like teaching tonight. John 8:36. And y'all know it, he said, but he who the Son sets free— yeah, right. And if therefore the Son sets you free, you shall be free indeed. Ontos, indeed, in all aspects. The word Indeed, it's ontos, O-N-T-O-S, ontos, or ontos, or ontos, and it means you are free in all regards. So you're not just free in one area when the Son makes you free, because God never does anything incomplete. Watch this, there are people that say, oh, I'm just a work in process, I'm yet being saved daily. No, when you receive, you're saved, but when you receive freedom, so you again You came out of bondage into deliverance, but freedom comes with a responsibility of owning old mindsets, owning limitations, and deciding, I'm gonna do everything in my power to release these things so God can set me free in all areas. All right, so here we go. If the Son makes you free, you're free. Ontos. Ushababan, truly. Watch this, as opposed to what's pretended, right? You're truly free. There's a lot of people acting free, all right? They play free on Sunday, they play free on Facebook, right? YouTube. But when you're really free, you're free when nobody's looking, all right? You're free when you go to the bank, all right? You're free when you wake up in the morning. You're free when it's time to pay your bills, because God says, I want you to be free. You're free when it comes to your health, because God says, I want you free in all areas. So we're going to talk about tonight how to break that spirit of limitation. Let's go to Genesis real quick. Genesis chapter 3. Glory to Jesus. I pray y'all getting something out of this so far. Hallelujah. I know I am. Glory to God. Genesis 3. Glory to Jesus. And I know I'm not going to get to all of this. Praise God. Like I said, this is going to go into Sunday. We're going to end up talking about this for this Pharisee spirit even the more on Sunday, cuz— but you need this because you need to be free from this yoke of limitation, because it's holding up your blessings. It's creating delays on stuff, honestly, that should have already been happening in your life, but there is a delay. I'm speaking prophetically to somebody. Listen, there's a delay there. It has been held up because you still got yokes of bondage operating in different areas, and you must be free. We're going to talk about how to do that tonight. Um, I'm just going to read verses 7 and 8 because I don't have time, but the Bible says this: And the eyes of both of them were open. We're talking about Adam and Eve, right? And they knew they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord amongst the trees of the garden. They create a limitation through disobedience. I, I don't have time, but the reality is The more we disobey, the more we create agendas that are comfortable to our desires, all right, that are comfortable to our plans. We create limitations and delays on things again that God really wants to accelerate. Because I'm telling you, uh, there's an accumulation in the spirit that has already happened for things that need to manifest in your life, and they need to— the accumulation needs to be backed by acceleration. The acceleration cannot happen because of limitation. Yeah. All right, so let's get into this. So what are limitations, Michael? Was— they are barriers that restrict or hinder a person from achieving their full potential in life. I'm gonna say it again: restrictions are barriers, yokes, that hinder a person from— oh my God— from achieving their full potential in life. And many people die and never maximize their full capacity. Because they allow limitations— oh my God— to be their portion. They allow limitations to have its way in their life. And the reality is you got to take authority over that. You got to control that, and you got to break the limitations. These limitations, you know, many times come in various forms. They're spiritual, they're physical, they're emotional, and even financial. The reality is God's will for his children is to embrace his plan, his future, his destiny that he has for their life. Live that destiny out. Allow him to be in complete control. Watch this— to have complete authority, to have his way in every aspect. But we got to break these limitations. And so tonight we're going to explore how to do it. The first thing, we got to understand limitations, right? So let's, let's understand limitations. Let's get an understanding of what limitations are. Limitations confine— is in nature— they restrain or they hold back a person— watch this— from not just maximizing potential and fulfilling purpose, but they hold a person back from— watch this— experiencing true joy, true love, true prosperity. And so it's important that you identify any person, place, or thing that is limiting or holding back, confining you, restraining you from progress. If there's an area of your life where you're not progressing, I want you to know it's 9 times out of 10 is connected to a person or a thing that's constraining you. I'm gonna say that again. If you're not progressing in a certain area of your life 9 times out of 10, family is connected to a person or a thing that's constraining and restraining you from moving forward. My God, you know, these can be external forces, you know, external circumstances. Of things that's going on. It could be a limitation, right? Lack of money can be a limitation. A lack of manpower can be a limitation. All right, uh, behavior things can be a limitation. Or it could be an external force. There's a demonic attack because the enemy understands if you get over this hurdle, if you break this spirit of limitation God have mercy. You become a threat to him. A lot of times you have internal forces like fear and unbelief. Watch this, sin that you just can't shake. These things can be limitation, but regardless to the source, whether it's external or internal. It's not God's will. Oh my God, for us to live like this. God has a better plan, y'all. Y'all with me tonight? He has a better plan. He has a better desire. He wants a better outcome for you. He wants you to have good days, man, and enjoy your life. But you gotta deal with the limitations. Oh my God, tonight. So that's the nature of limitation. Let's look at spiritual yokes. We read that in Isaiah 10:27, and God promised that the yoke would be destroyed because of the anointing. A yoke— watch this— is a symbol, again a bondage or oppression designed— watch this— deliberately to restrain one— watch this— from their future and to blind them from personal value. Oh, anytime you're operating in low self-esteem and something has caused that It's a yoke, friends. It's a yoke. It's a yoke of bondage that— oh God— that has caused you to look down on yourself and not value who you really are. It's the money. And a lot of times in our childhood or in life, we encounter things that open a door of idleness, which the idle mind is the devil's workshop. And that thing comes in and it plants a— again, a Babylonian seed that makes us feel like we're never going to do anything more than what we can perceive in our mind that we could do. And only thing we— we're— because we're blinded by the yoke, we're led to believe— the yoke leads us to believe that this yoke Because this is what we see, right? Somebody say, see, see, see. This is what you see. You see the yoke, you see the circumstance. But what if I told you tonight you have the power through that anointing you say you have, through that— oh my God, that ontos— to destroy that yoke, to take the fatness of Jesus, the profitable parts. Oh my God, oh my God, had to take the material, tangible anointing and smear it upon that yoke. And the Bible said the yoke is— it turned— destroyed. The word destroyed in Hebrew literally means it turns to dust, it disseminates. Whoo! It disassembles. It's no more. So the anointing is not just for you laying hands and somebody falling on the floor, because we major on that kind of stuff, and that's really just normal stuff for God, right? You know, I'm not against it. I pray for people all the time, all right? I believe in being slain in spirit. Don't, don't, don't fight me, okay? But I do have a problem with those of you That's all you do, okay? And then the rest of your life, you're limited. And, and I'm just trying to help you, man. You know, I, I've been doing this for almost 40 years, right? Reality, I've been there, you know, where it was just preach, preach, preach, pray, pray, pray, prophesy, prophesy. But the reality is there was no balance. I still had limits even when I left church praying and prophesying. I learned how to break those. What I'm trying to teach you tonight is how to do that. I don't want you to have good church and then you go home and you're still depressed. You go home, you don't see the value you bring to the world. You go to your house and you're struggling with a yoke of low self-esteem and depression. You're contemplating suicide. You're tormenting your mind. You, you can't sleep. You're tossing and turning. The real— oh my God, the reality is, family, You got to break that spirit of limitation, destroy that yoke because of the anointing. Praise God. So I mean, a generational curse is a yoke because you could be operating in something that just attached itself to your life because you were born in a certain bloodline. That's a yoke that could cause a limitation, and you're You're suffering behind someone else's sin, and you don't have to. The anointing of the blood of Jesus can tangibly be applied to that generational curse. Matter of fact, right now, tonight, in the name of Jesus, I believe there's someone watching, or several of you, who are battling with generational curses of witchcraft, generational curses of poverty, generational curses of infirmity and perversion. I command tonight in the name of Jesus for that generational curse to be broken, and I declare that you are free in the mighty name of Jesus, and that no weapon formed against your life will ever be able to prosper. Glory to God. And that generational curse, because of the anointing, I declare it is destroyed. That yoke will not hinder your future another day. I declare you're free right now in the name of Jesus. You won't have cancer because your mother did, your auntie did, your grandma and your great-great-grandma did. I declare that generational curse of infirmity is broke out of your life now. In the— in the name of Jesus, I declare that generational curses of poverty, oh my God, and low self-esteem— I declare they are broken Tonight, in the name of Jesus, be free. You ought to give God praise right there for freedom. Glory to God. I command every demonic force that is oppressing your mind, because anything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God— God says you're the head and not the tail. God says you're above and not beneath. He says you're a lender and not a borrower. It's an oppressive demonic attack that comes against your mind and makes you believe you cannot have those things. You cannot— that makes you believe you can't be debt-free, you can't be a millionaire, you can't be a billionaire. It's demonic to tell you you're going to always have some sickness because we're all human. No, the anointing destroys yokes. So we got to understand how these limitations work, right? Your anointing is powerful enough to destroy every yoke. My God, today, listen, the Israelites in Exodus 3, praise God. And I read, I read, I read Adam, but I want 3. I read Genesis 3 with Adam and Eve, how through disobedience they ended up with limits, right? They ended up not able to access what God gave them responsibility over. They had complete freedom. And I've said— I said this last month when I was teaching on freedom and power— God will put you out of what he intended to bless you and limit you from the experience that goes with it. Watch this, lest you repent and get back in line. That's why God sent another Adam, so we can be restored through Jesus Christ. Now, here's another biblical example in Exodus 7 and 8. In this text, the Israelites— and I'm not going to read it, but in the text, they are bound by the yoke of slavery in Egypt. But watch this, but God intervened through his servant Moses. Glory to God! And broke the chains off their limitation. Watch this. He brought them out of bondage into deliverance, the wilderness, and then eventually they moved into freedom, the promised land. Listen, God desires to deliver each one of us from any limitation that may be holding us back. Are y'all with me tonight? Touch yourself and say, God wants me to live without limits. Glory to God. I dare you to shout it, no more limits. Praise God. Hallelujah. I'm telling you, even as I'm talking, the limits are being lifted off of your mind. They're being lifted out of your mindset. They're being lifted out of your life. I need you to receive the freedom. Hallelujah! Because it starts right here, Zion. It starts right here. You got to be free in your mind. Ashabaya toshianda. All right, so how do we identify— my second point here, I'm moving quickly— how do we identify the sources of limitation? All right. We've talked about some of these, so I've already mentioned generational and foundational issues. So many people are limited from generational curses and foundational issues in their life that come from family background. Now, these manifest through recurring patterns of poverty, sickness, Watch this delay. In Galatians 3:13, and we're not going to go there, but we're reminded that Christ has delivered us from the curse of the law. Hallelujah! And through him, we can break through generational and foundational issues. So again, I just want to give you some premise on if you can identify generational curse in your life. I want to give you some premise that if you're saved and you've received Jesus Christ, and perhaps if you're not and you're listening to me tonight or today, whenever you're listening to this, the reality is you can receive Jesus Christ and through his power he can break foundational and generational issues. The second thing is, and I know you're not going to want to hear this, But many of you tonight are experiencing limitations that are self-imposed. These are self-imposed limitations. Oh my God, somebody say Apostle, really? Yes, really, man. You know, many a times the limitations we experience is due to our own mindset. Due to our beliefs. Fear, doubt, no confidence in God. This is self-imposed. Some of the stuff you're dealing with is your lack of faith in God, your, your fear. Uh, watch this. Some people fear success, and the Bible says God has not given you the spirit of fear. He gave you power, he gave you love, he gave you a sound mind. You don't have to be afraid. Are y'all with me? You don't have to be afraid to succeed. You don't have to be afraid to fail. God is with you. You don't have to doubt God. Listen, the Bible encourages us, man. It wants to empower your mind. Romans 12:2, the scripture says, be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. The renewing, the redoing of your mind. Yeah, so you got to renew it. You got to do it over. You got to unlearn the stinking thinking. You got to cast out the stuff— are y'all with me— that doesn't belong. Because everything— here we go, people— that you learned in the past, it could have seemed as if it was good for you then, and if it was the right— because just because it appears right don't mean it's right. And it might have been good to you for a period of time, but everything that's good to you is not good for you. Are y'all with me? Okay, all right. So in Numbers 13, I'm not gonna read it, verses 31 and 33, but you can write it down. The Israel— watch this— these Israelites' fear of the promised land is really what caused them to stay in the wilderness 40 years. I've said this before, I'm gonna say it again. They could have went in the Promised Land in 12 days. It was a— the topography on the map suggests that from the wilderness, from Egypt to the Promised Land, I'm sorry, was a 12-day journey on foot. It took them 40 years because they feared confrontation. Every time they saw the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Mount Seir, the Moabites, and all the other 'ites, all right, they went another way and they kept delaying the manifestation of true freedom. And they imposed limitations because they fear confrontation. They limited themselves. It was self-imposed by doubting God's ability to fulfill the promise he made. Watch this. There's a prophecy over your life right now. Many of your problems will be you'll remain limited. And it's sad that I see this because it's going to happen for some of you because you're going to, you're going to reject truth. You're going to reject correction. You're going to reject rebuke that's given to you in love. And when you do that and go back to your own mindset, you got to continue to limit yourself and create delays and self-impose— watch this— confusion, self-imposed limitations. And you're going to start believing your own ideology about how things are to work, and then you end up getting old, you die because you never accepted the truth, okay, what— that you needed to shift in a certain way and you need to change right here in this area. Listen, they, they thought they were too weak to defeat these giants or to defeat these different ones that they had to encounter. The reality is, man, You never lose with God, and you got to remember that. Do you realize in God there is no limits because he has no limits? Matter of fact, do this, do this, do this, do this, do this. Ain't nothing above your head. Just do it. Ain't nothing above your head. Prophetically, do it prophetically. Ain't nothing above your head. You can go as high as you want to. I'm gonna say it again. Ain't nothing above your head. You can go as high as you want. Are y'all with me? Oh my God, tonight. Oh my God. So how do we break free from these self-imposed limitations, or from the limitations that come through generational curses or foundational issues? How do we break free? Let's get into it, and I'm almost done. The first thing is You can only break free through the power of the anointing. I'm gonna say that one more time. You can only break free through the power of the anointing. We read it again, Isaiah 10:27. It tells us that the yoke is destroyed. And I just— I told you already, that means the yoke turns to dust. The yoke explodes. It disappears. It's dismantled or disassembled. It no longer exists when the anointing really is there. Now here's my problem, family. We got a whole lot of people that say they walk in the anointing. We hear people preach, we hear people sing, and we say, oh, wasn't they anointed? Because they sounded so good. Or we, we go to church and there's a lot of noise and, and we're dancing all over the place, and we'll say the anointing was in that place today. Or everybody was down in the floor, and we'll say the glory and the anointing came. Here's my problem, saints of God. When the anointing really is present, yokes, limitations, restraints that confine you from your future, from the ability to solve problems and fulfill purpose— those yokes are destroyed. But if you telling me that just because you preached well or you sung well or you fell out on the floor and you rolled around a little bit and, and got real greasy down there. Just cause you got greasy don't mean you got anointed, because you can get up greasy— hear me— and still have limitations. And what I'm trying to do is help you not to have limitations, because when the Spirit of God comes upon a person, when the anointing comes upon a person, what happens? He actually empowers you to rise above every barrier and fulfill purpose, finish your destiny, maximize potential. That's what it's for. Take dominion, take control, take authority. And I'm not talking about what you experience in your prayer time. When you get out of your prayer time, is the yoke destroyed, or are you still going back to the same thing? Are y'all hearing me? That God wants you free from. Okay, all right, so we got to break it through the power of the anointing. Second thing, and, and again, I taught this all this month and some of last month in December, just trying to get our mind ready for this year. Second thing, you want to break limitation, you got to walk in freedom. I mean, literally, we read in Galatians 5:1, and it declared that the only reason Christ came was to give us freedom, not, not for us to walk around saved and still bound. He wants us free and be able to experience all of the benefits that freedom brings. And, and we read in there in, in Galatians 5:1, we read in here that this freedom that Christ brings should be permanent. So when Christ sets you free, you should not return to the yoke of bondage. Now watch this, I'm, I'm going to drop this on you. I'm drop this down on you right quick. I'm going drop it on you a minute. I, I need to drink to it first, all right? And that ain't no orange juice, okay? Now If you return to the yoke of bondage after being made free— here we go— I'm going to challenge a reality. Maybe you weren't actually made free, because when you really taste freedom The way God wants you to taste it. There's nothing about bondage that you want to return to. Oh my God, today when you realize that you are now free, there's, there's some stuff in my life I will never go back to. There's some things I've done in my past I'll never do again. There are some decisions I made I'll never make again because they were made under a Babylonian mindset, a bondage mindset. But now that I'm free and understand how to operate as a free man in my marriage, glory to God, I'll never go back to some of the old things because those things, those decisions were made with a bondage mind— oh boy— with a bondage mindset, man. Woo-wee! You, you got to know, man, Matter of fact, Hebrews— the Hebrew writer said, once you have tasted of the heavenly gift, freedom, he— and once enlightened, enlightenment, freedom in the mind, in the spirit, and through revelation, he said it is impossible for you to turn again. It's impossible for you to fall away. So if you really tasted the heavenly gift of freedom, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. I know you say, oh no, I taste the spirit now, but the Spirit of the Lord is this freedom. So if you taste it for real, I'm not talking about you received him, but that's different. Okay, this orange juice, in order for me to taste it, it's in this glass, right? I gotta drink it. It's good. It's actually orange pineapple juice. But I can sit here and look at this glass and say, boy, I know that orange pineapple juice sure is good, and I know it would be so refreshing if I drunk some of it, but never drink it, I'll never know that I can enjoy that. I taste it, and watch this, because I've tasted it, I also know how it tastes, which invokes me then when I run out to buy more at the store because I, I like what it tastes like. Now, and watch this, even this brand of juice, I'll never go back to other brands because this brand appeases my palate. So same thing with God. When you really tasted him, you don't stick with him. You're not gonna let anything turn you back, right? I gotta get out of here, y'all. I gotta go, man. Ah, but you— so you got to walk in freedom. You got to walk in the liberty Christ has provided. And you got to reject— you hear me? Deliberately reject every form of limitation. You got deliberately rejected because the enemy is going to try to impose it on you. He's going to try to tempt you with it. But in order to reject it, it's going to require persistence. See, the enemy trying to get you to live in a mindset of limitation, that's resistance. He's resisting your progress. He's trying to reinforce the yoke that's in your life. But you got to be persistent against his resistance, and you got to decide that I'm going to operate without limitations. And no matter what the enemy brings to me, I will not be limited. Oh my God. All right, Mark 5. I don't have time. Verses 25 through 34. You, you know this, um, but there was a woman who had an issue of blood. She had the issue of blood for 12 years. This was a limitation of sickness. She began to open her mouth and say, 'If she heard,' first of all, with her ears that Jesus was passing by, she understood he was the source of power. He carried the anointing, right? So when she heard that, she began to speak out of her mouth, 'If I could just touch the hem of his garment. I ain't even got to touch him, I ain't got to talk to him, I ain't got to get his autograph, I ain't got to be all up in his face. If I could just touch the hem of his garment— she was speaking this out of her mouth. Again, you create the world you live in with your words. So if you really want to walk in freedom, you need to start talking like you free. When you hear of the anointing— oh boy— when you hear, glory to the name of God, of places and people that carry the anointing, you You should start confessing out of your mouth, if I can just make contact, oh my God, with the anointing, I will be made whole. That's why you can't disdain houses of worship where the anointing is. You shouldn't settle being in a place where it looks like it's anointed when really it's not anointed, it's entertainment. But the anointing again brings change. I gotta go, man, I gotta go. Her faith in the fact that she heard about Jesus, never seen him but heard what he could do, she said, if I can just touch the hem of his garment, I'll be whole. She decided that the anointing would have an encounter with her issue. Right. The Bible said she touched him with his garment and she was made whole instantly. Virtue went from Jesus' body, she was made whole. So let me give you some practical steps outside of the power of the anointing and walking in freedom to break the yoke of limitation, and we're gonna be done. Number 1, prayer and fasting. So starting on February 1st through the 8th. Hear me, we're going on 7-day fast, water only, uh, no food, from midnight to 6 daily. We're praying 5 AM, 12 noon every day. Prayer and fasting releases anointing. So before you make excuses about why you can't fast why you don't want to fast, right? The reality is you need to get gung-ho about this fast. Again, after Freedom Fast next week, we're going to start the fast midnight on February 1st, and we're going to believe God for some great breakthrough and freedom. And our main focus is, is that limitations will be broken and dominion and freedom will truly be experienced in our life. I mean, it can happen, but we gotta break limitation. I'm almost done, y'all. I'm almost done. You know, Matthew 17:21 tells us that this kind comes only by fasting and prayer. That's what it says. So certain yokes Certain limitations can only be broken by fasting and prayer. I don't care how many services you go to, there are certain things that will only be broken through fasting and prayer. Persistent, fervent prayer is the key to breaking spiritual barriers. Watch this. Fasting strengthens our spirit and aligns us with God's will. And watch this, when we're aligned with God's spirit and we're strong in our inner man, our innermost man, now we have power to overcome limitations. So when we fast, we're not just going hungry, That's why when we go through these 7 days, there's a days of sacrifice, you know, and we're gonna— when we send out the prayer focus and the tenets of the fast, there are things you got to give up in those 7 days, you know, um, your favorite shows. I mean, sacrificing time in for prayer, man, is a big— gonna be big for many of y'all, getting up at 5 and then praying. Hear me, twice a day, 5 and 12. So that means we're going to pray at 5, we're going to get back in prayer again at 12, because, because guess what? You need to be strengthened in your inner man. And, and those of you that are constantly complaining about the sacrifices necessary to grow spiritually, I'm pushing on you through the Holy Ghost to get you where you need to be. Let's stop complaining, man. Let's Strip off that old man. You said you want more. Well, this is what it's going to take. And, and there's some limitations in your life that need to be broke, and they're only going to be broken through fasting and prayer. My God, my God. All right, second thing, how I would break— so fasting and prayer is the next step. It's the word of God. This is so important. The Word is a weapon against limitations. Are y'all here? I'm gonna say it again. The Word is a weapon against limitations. My God, whoo! You don't have to be limited, but you need to get in the Word, man. Listen, and you need to speak over your life what the word says, because as you speak the promises of God over your life and declare what God said, you know what you're doing? You're reinforcing victory. Hallelujah! And you're reinforcing the power to destroy every yoke. God's word according to Jeremiah 23:29— thank you, The word of the Lord is a hammer that breaks rocks in many pieces. And watch this, it can shatter every limitation and every barrier. That's why you should never spend more time on social media than you do in the word. Uh-oh. You should never spend more time binge-watching shows than you doing the word. And you certainly shouldn't complain, watch this, about opportunities to sit under the word and receive the word. Oh, I'm working on you tonight. I'm working on you. I want you to get this. I'm working on you, man. But you, in order for you to break those limitations, you're gonna have to make the adjustments. You know, I, you know, you can't complain when we got to be in 4 services over the weekend. You, you got to look at that with joy. I get an opportunity because Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the word of God, right? So every opportunity you get to hear fresh revelation, that in a meeting that's called by the Holy Ghost, glory to God, then you ought to be excited to be in place. So again, you need to get registered for Freedom Fest next week. It's going to be profound. It's going to be 4 days Well, we're going to be dropping the, the science of the Holy Ghost concerning dominion. Listen, I told y'all, we cannot call ourselves Rother Church and you never walk in dominion. What are we doing? I mean, for real, we can't be talking about taking the 34 acres of land that God has given us and building a place called rot our city, and we never really take dominion in our fear of influence. No, ain't no need doing none of that. We might as well close the doors, lock them, turn everything off, close the church. Because— but I refuse to buy into the fact that you can't achieve it, because you can. I won't accept your excuses that you can't. But you got to do the work, and you got to be excited about the word of God. Third way, okay, first way you got prayer and fasting, second word of God, third way, y'all ready? Faith in action. James 2:26 says faith without corresponding action, faith without works is dead, being alone. Watch this, to break the yoke limitation, you're going to have to take risk of obedience by faith. Are y'all hearing me? When God tells you to do something, everything you need to do it— I'm telling you right now, I've been blessed in my business, I've been blessed in ministry over these last 40 years, man, not because I always had everything I needed to do what I have to do. No, my God. Listen, we're believing God that we're going to build a complex, man, that exceeds 6 figures in the millions. Are y'all hearing me? When I say 6 figures, I'm talking about $100 to $300 million this entire project will cost once it's finished. Guess what? Y'all heard my confession of faith. We're gonna do all this supernaturally. Praise God! Hallelujah! We're gonna do it all supernaturally. We ain't going to Bank of America, we ain't going to Chase, we going to heaven. Glory to God! And heaven's bank, because God told me the sky gates are open, the sky vaults are open. Open, the heavens are open, and his resources are there. But you know what we have to do? We have to break off limited mindsets and take steps of faith, do everything we got to do. And I'm telling you right now, and devil would try to whisper in my ear the other day when I was, uh, I was sending out an email to the architect and he was just whispering my ear, well, you know, you probably gonna be the one paying for all this and you're gonna go broke doing it. I said, the devil is a liar. I'm not gonna do it because at the end of the day, this is God's business. Hallelujah. And it's my job to obey and put faith in action. Listen, when you act on the promises of God, he always moves in your favor and provides what you need. I haven't said I said now. I'm almost done. If it's his will, it's his bill. Listen, 2 Kings 7, verses 3 through 8. I don't have time, but in this text there are 4 lepers— watch this— that broke free from limitation. It was a famine in the land, right? And somebody in the group said, look, why are we gonna sit here and die? The Amalekites had gone off to war. Good God, let's go! They were led, glory to the name of God, to move forward and go into the camp of the Amalekites. And the Bible said when they got there, Erbai was gone. Matter of fact, many of the people in that camp had died in battle, and the spoils was just there. Watch this, God delivered them out of famine because one was saying, oh man, we go there, they're gonna kill us. But God had already prepared the way. They didn't know what they would find, but if they would have sat there in their misery, they would have died in the famine like everybody else. But man, they got over there and they got blessed. Listen, they broke the yoke of limitation. By stepping out in faith. I'm closing with this and I'm done. Limitations, family, are not— hear me— are not a part of God's plan for your life. It's just not. He wants you free. He paid the price to set you free from every form of bondage. Every form of trepidation, every limitation. So you gotta trust his power. You gotta pray, stay in the word, and when you do that, the yokes will be broken. Listen, can I prophesy to you tonight? This is your season. This is your season. To walk in God's fullness for you and to break every limitation. This is your season to remove the Pharisee and the Babylonian mindset and decide that God has more planned just for me. Let's pray. Father, I thank you for this word tonight. I pray that it land on a good ground of every heart, and that we will reap it in due season if we faint not. Father, I decree and declare that every generational limitation, every foundational limitation, God, every self-imposed limitation, I declare tonight in the name of Jesus, because of your anointing, that it will be destroyed. I rebuke the spirit of Pharaoh, the spirit of limitation and restriction and constraint. I declare every yoke to bite the dust because of the anointing tonight, and I declare that your people won't be hindered or restrained, but they will finish their course, and you will do great things in their life. In Jesus' name, amen and amen. Hallelujah! Glory to God! Listen, I pray you were blessed tonight. I pray that this word has brought liberty to you even while I was teaching it. So listen, I'm gonna go, but I want you to absorb this, soak it in. Make plans to join us on Sunday.
