Dominion & Gates Part 3 | Dr Mike Woods | 19 March 2026

Dr. Mike Woods teaches that spiritual dominion is 80% mindset and 20% mechanics, using the Valley Gate and Dung Gate from Nehemiah 3 as symbols for how believers should process adversity and false teaching. Valleys are testing grounds that reveal true belief; the Dung Gate represents spiritual digestion, where you assimilate healthy doctrine and eliminate toxic mindsets and excuses.

Jesus. Ora bandi kosata. Last time. That's why my heart is filled with praise. Just love on him a few moments. Just a few moments. He loves us so completely. When you know how good he is to you, you, it becomes easy to spend an hour in prayer. You should never struggle through one hour in prayer when you know how real he is and good he is. You should be content with praying and spending time with him. You can, you can worship as long as it takes when you know how good he is, the magnitude of his goodness. We love him, we adore him, we bless him. Glory to God. We macrograph his name, which sublimate you, Father. We extol you. You're mighty and you're wonderful. Beside you there is no other. We bless— ashketa tabon shiantata. Yeah, God, everything about me, I give it to you. I lay it all down again, Lord. Draw me close to you, never let me go. I lay it all down again just to hear you say, I am your friend. Thank you, God, for being so good and kind. Bless our ears tonight to hear what the Spirit will say to us. Father, we thank you in advance for the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of the Holy Ghost. And Father, even those that are watching us live right now, we pray that this message will spread throughout the earth. That it will be shared massively and contagiously, God, in the name of Jesus. And that those that need to hear this word concerning dominion, that they will receive it in the name of Jesus and begin to take their place. And we bless you for it now in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. Clap your hands, everybody. And give God praise. Hallelujah, he is good. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Tonight we're going to plunge right into the heart of this. Can we turn that off? Okay, thank you, I appreciate it. Tonight we're going to continue in these 12 gates. I really thought I'd be through with these, uh, so I'm gonna attempt to do 2 tonight so I have 6 Sunday. All right, so, but we got to get this. This is important because how you enter a place, glory to God, is important. And there is a gate to every place you enter, whether it's in the spirit or in the natural. I want to say this, uh, tonight. It is important, and this is the only review point I'm gonna make, that we remember that dominion— say that with me— say dominion is 80% spiritual and 20% mechanics. Okay, I'm gonna say it one more time. It's 80% spiritual, 80% spiritual mindset and 20% mechanics. So the reason we're teaching this so heavily, because our mind has to shift to a dominion mindset, and not just in the things we think Watch this. You should have dominion over everything in your life, over every little piece. You should be in charge, and you should have that mindset where every obstacle, every situation, everything you face, you are called to dominate it. Say that with me. Say, I'm called to dominate it. So we're teaching this stuff so that we can develop a mindset to rule. I will remind you that the word dominion is from the Hebrew word radah, which is on that sign behind me and on the name of this church. And it means to— I want you to hear this again, because I want— again, I want this to register in the foundation of what dominion is. It means to have total authority. Say that with me. Say total authority. Total influence. Total rulership. In your fear of purpose. So in the area where God has assigned you to have purpose, you had— you have total authority. You're to be totally influential, to be totally a ruler, the head and not the tail. We are called to be in charge. Matter of fact, we're called to be large and in charge. It doesn't matter how many people in the room— watch this— you could be 5 deep, watch this, and have dominion mindset, and there's nothing that could block us. Are y'all hearing this? And so tonight, these 2 gates are going to be very important. We're going to start with the Valley Gate. Again, these are 12 gates. We've already talked about the Sheep Gate, the Fish Gate. Glory to God. We talked about the Old Gate. What else we talk about? We talked about the— those are only 3? I only got them 4? Fish Gate? I got the 4, I thought. I ain't get them but 3? Jesus Christ. Sheep Gate, Fish Gate, Old Gate. My God. We are behind. So, so we left off on the old gate, and we're going to read Nehemiah 3:13. Nicole, you want to help me tonight? Glory, I appreciate you, woman of God, so that they can see some scripture on the screen. But I'm gonna start reading. The Bible said Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah repaired the Valley Gate. They built it, hung its doors with its bolts and bars, and repaired 1,000 cubits of the wall as far as the Dung Gate. I'm gonna read that again. He says Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah. I think it's important to look at this and look at these names really quick because these names have prophetic significance. Say this with me. Say, in the name of Jesus, I will handle my valleys correctly. I need you to hear that because— and then we're gonna go— I want you— I'm gonna elaborate on that a moment, but then we're gonna look at these names. See, most people in the kingdom don't handle valleys right. First of all, let me give you some revelation of a valley. Number one, a valley is not designed for you to live in, it's for you to pass through. Are you hearing this? So a lot of people get in valley experiences, and what you don't realize, all around you is mountains. And the mountains around you in a valley are for you to take those peaks and really come from the bottom, the valley, because it's in the bottom, and go to the top. Y'all remember that song, Started from the Bottom, Now I'm Here? Okay, some of y'all ain't that safe. You remember? Okay, so you started the valley, right? And then we go to the top. And then I want to tell you, when you get to the top of the mountain, there's still room to grow. There's still more peaks to be conquered that cannot be seen with a natural eye. Are y'all here? Glory to the name of God. So let's, let's look at Nehemiah 13. I'm gonna read it, and, and we're gonna look at these names Glory to God. 13:3 and 13. Here we go again. The Valley Gate repaired by Hanun. Hanun's name— this name is, is, is, is important— means favored and gracious. So when you are in the valley It's easy to blend in, take up residence there, and believe that's where you're supposed to be when you don't understand. Because you'll think you're being mistreated in the valley. You'll think that God has forgotten about you in the valley. Valleys often say, God, are you really hearing me when I pray? Well, God, I paid my tithes, I went to church, I fasted for 3 days, and nothing still has moved. But you have to— and the longer you miss the revelation that you're favored, watch this, and gracious and graced by God, and he's going to be gracious to you, you're going to stay in there until you get it, that in spite of where you are, he has favored you. But if you make the valley a complaining post— are y'all hearing this? You're not repairing the gate, you're setting up residence. Can I submit this to you? Never complain about what you permit. Some of the valleys we're in, we are allowing it because we have not really accepted for real that we are favored and graced. I mean, for real, when you really accept that, you can go through the valley with joy. You can rejoice and worship and, and be happy and be loving and serve God without complaint in a valley when you know how gracious and favored you are. Are y'all hearing this? He said, so Hunan and the inhabitants— this is important— of Zanoah. Zanoah. Now watch this. Zanoah's name means to cast off. So the valley now is designed for you to cast stuff off. So many people still in the valley because they still holding on to stuff they need to throw away. Are y'all hearing this? All right. We need to cast off habits. Lay aside every weight and the sin that easily besets you from the kingdom of God. Let us run with patience the race set before us. So notice the two things. There's a conjunction— weight and sin. So even if you lay aside sin and you got weight You're still slowing yourself down and you're making a home in the valley. Are y'all with me? So I was about to run over them names, but I'm telling you something, all names have meaning and they have prophetic significance in scripture. That's why when you study, you should always look up the names that you're reading. If you can't pronounce it, look at what they mean, because they have a prophetic connotation to where the text is going. So watch this. Casting off stuff, removing stuff out of my life, being graced and favored builds the valley gate. Watch this. It builds an exit and an entrance to the valley. Otherwise you're gonna get in it without a way out, lost in the valley. That's another message for another day. Because there are some people that get in the valley and get lost. And then watch this, you stand there long enough, you'll start— you're thinking that, okay, this valley is just where I'm supposed to be, when in reality that's not the case. Are y'all with me? So he says they built it and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and 1,000 cubits on the wall unto the Dong Gate. 8. Glory to God. So let's get into this. Dominion is forged in valleys. You never start on top again. You start in valleys. You start in situations that appear impossible. Why do you have to go through that? I mean, really, God is God. Just give it to me. Are y'all hearing this? Just, just let me have it without the valley. I've been there. But you know what, every mountain you have to conquer, there's a valley. No matter how long you've been in God— no, no, I put God on it because people think they say it that way, not God, God, G-A-W-D. They think he— it makes it make you sound more spiritual, something like that. Listen, no. The reality is you cannot circumvent the valley if you really want to be affected. Now here's what I've seen people do, and this is dangerous. They still have a valley mentality, still in the valley have erected their own mountains in the valley. They've given up on the mountains around them and created an illusion— uh-oh, my God— of what they believe to be God because it's comfortable. But if you really want to dominate, you got to go through the valley so you can go up the mountain. You cannot dominate if you don't go through the valley. Dominion is forged in the valley. Secondly, the valley represents— hear me— the process of spiritual development. Say development. Through trials. Say through trials. See, see, we all like— we don't want to hear that, right? Because we want dominion, but we don't want to go through and conquer nothing. So how are you gonna practice dominion if you don't practice in your trials? Yeah, practice. So, so you have trials so you can practice the dichotomy that's in front of you— dominion or departure. So are you gonna run from this thing, or are you gonna dominate it? The trying of your faith worketh patience. Think it not strange— watch this— the fiery darts that come against you to test you. Those darts the enemy throw at you, guess what? God allows him to throw them because he can stop them, but he wants to develop your faith. He wants to develop your focus on him. So you go through trials as a means of development. There are what— there are several ways you can develop. You can develop through teaching. You get to develop through mentoring. You get developed, glory to the name of God, through prayer. You can have a whole development process on your knees, but you also have to embrace development through trial because the valley is a place of testing. When you're in the valley, you're gonna see all kind of stuff— snakes. Are y'all hearing this? It's snakes in the valley. It's, it's animals that— mountain animals that come down to the valley to feed. So you have to learn how to pass the test in the valley. It's also a place of formation, and what I mean by that is you get structure and alignment in the ways of God in the valley. It forms you into who you are supposed to be. Because when you enter the mountain, there's no more time for training you on the mountain. When you're trying to conquer a mountain, you need all the training you need before you get there. Then we go to the next one, you go to another valley first, right? But when you're trying to conquer a mountain, you need to get what you need. You can't be up there saying, well, let me look at a YouTube video and get trained right quick. You can't do that. You got to get your training in the valley. See, and that's the danger of this age. We got so much information available to us, man. I'm telling you, ChatGPT is going to make a lot of people extinct because it will make you lazy. ChatGPT and AI should be an extension of you. You shouldn't become who you are in ChatGPT. I was reading a book, other— I just started reading it. I mean, been on my shelf for a few months. I just picked up, started reading. I said, Lord, this is ChatGPT, because I know the language it speaks, you know, because it speaks a certain way concerning spiritual things. I'm like, And then it's a lot of error, and I could tell they gave it a prompt, and each chapter, bam, popped back with what ChatGPT ain't praying. Are y'all hearing this? You need to spend some time with God so that God can talk to you about what you feeding people. Yeah. Oh, we hearing this. Some people gonna lose themselves in AI. It should be an extension of your uniqueness. My AI works for me, and I'll be getting mad at it sometimes. I'll type back, I ain't tell you say that. Then what I ask you to give me back, I ask you to enhance what I just gave you, maintain the integrity of my statement. Are y'all hearing? Don't ask you to change nothing. Sometimes give you scripture, it ain't even the scripture because, hey, I don't know the word. Okay, so you go through valleys and let the valley form you. Pain will teach you who you are. Are y'all hearing this? See, a lot of times we rebuke pain and we don't want no pain, but pain will teach you what you really believe. Oh, y'all here? Let me say it like this: adversity will teach you what you really believe. Are y'all with me? And when you got that adversity and you're in the valley, God is trying to— look at the word adversity, the root of it is add. What God's trying to do is make you an advertisement for his glory. In the valley, he uses adversity to advertise himself through your pain. Somebody said, God, why you got to get glory out of my pain, my hurt? Listen, women don't understand sometimes why men break their heart. Because if he didn't break your heart, you wouldn't know what the right thing to look for. Are y'all hearing this? Okay, are y'all hearing this? God will allow him to break your heart so he can draw you to himself, because you've been choosing out of dysfunction anyway with your dysfunctional self. Are y'all hearing this? The reason you keep getting the wrong person, because you're dysfunctional and need deliverance. And you think what you think is functional is functional, is dysfunctional, because all you know how to see is dysfunction. You don't even know what function looks like, right? Y'all hearing this? Because you've been broken so many times. So you have to step back in the valley, pray, let God heal you so you can choose from a space of function versus dysfunction. This is why you wonder why every time you start dating somebody, they might look different, talk different in the beginning, but as the dating process goes on, they, they become the same joker you dated last time because you chose the same spirit out of dysfunction. Because you had no potential ability. You had no— you had no ability in that moment. You got the potential, no ability in that moment to choose a functional companion because you weren't formed through your pain. You kept feeding your pain. You gotta let the pain form you. Watch this. If you're— okay, let me just give you something real simple example. If your head starts hurting, you, you know what to do, don't you? You're gonna go get a Tylenol, an ibuprofen. That's what people do. You might not pray and ask God. I mean, God really can heal your headache, and you ain't got to take a— but you don't got so dependent on because you know ibuprofen works. But guess what? God works. I mean, do what you got to do, but if the pain can be relieved by prayer, I'm a witness. Sometime I get on the golf course, I have pains in place because I'm getting older. I'm like, how in the world I'm hurting right there? And I just lay my hands on it. Hey, that ain't never— I ain't never had a pain right there. And I just pray and it goes. But I'll be seeing the old man popping ibuprofen like his Skittles. And, and the devil is a liar because God works, right? So you got to learn how to be formed in the valley and depend on God. Here's another thing the valley does. It's not only a place of testing, formation, it's also a place of burial. Oftentimes when someone died, they would take them in the valley and bury them. It was— they had no cemeteries. The valley was a cemetery. They didn't bury people in the mountains because they couldn't. They would take them in the valley and bury them in the valley. That's why the scripture says, 'Yea, do I walk through the valley and the shadow of death.' People took that scripture and over-spiritualized and made all those stuff. No, I just mean there's some folk is dead there, and the feeling of a cemetery is in the valley. That's really literally what the scripture is talking about. You know, when you walk through a cemetery— I mean, we was crazy growing up, so we would play in the cemetery. We have a cemetery around the corner from my house. We'd be out there at night running around playing, acting a fool. But you know, some folk ain't going out there at night. Y'all even saying, not me, cause it's shadows of death. Are y'all hearing this? Yes, sir. So when you're going through valleys, sometimes it's gonna feel like you are about to die. All right, are y'all hearing this? You're gonna feel like there's no hope, there's no rescue, there's no help. Okay, but God wants to help you. Amen. So systems, strategies— write this down— and structures— watch, oh God, it's so good— that cannot sustain your next level of dominion, God puts you in a valley to bury them. Oh, so that you got to decide what can go and what cannot go, who's going and who ain't going. Because here's what I know: where God is taking you next, there has to be some incisions, there has to be some removals, there has to be some burials. They may not die physically, but they got to die out of your process. We got to stop trying to pull people places they don't want to be. A good sign that it can't go is that they cannot walk with you in the valley. If people can't stay with you at ground zero, they're letting you know when you get to the top, they do not deserve to be in your space. Are you— because some people will watch you from afar, and then when you get to the top, they'll jump on the bandwagon and say, oh, I'm here, and you need to be able to look at them and say, no, you're not. I buried you. You should have showed up and showed you can walk with me through the valley. When I felt like I was about to die, I should have been able to lean on you. Are y'all hearing this? Because there are people that will come in the valley with you and they'll act like they with you. Okay, yeah, for real. They'll act like they praying for you. I appreciate Pastor Jeffrey. Every time he takes the mic and pray, he pray for me, and that gives me— no, he ain't just doing it at church. I believe he pray for me at home. I believe many of you pray for me, but there's some folk I know tell me they pray for me don't. I mean, how folk don't really believe I'm a prophet? How you just gonna tell me a lie? I'm praying for you, Pastor. No, you ain't. I'll be willing to tell them, no, you ain't. First of all, you ain't even praying for yourself, so I know you ain't praying for me. Okay, that's Another message for another day. But people who are in the valley with you will hold you up for real. Are y'all hearing this? Yes, sir. When I was, when I was dating Felicia, one of the reasons I knew I had to marry her— we was just dating— I would be over a house and hear her praying for me. I hadn't heard no other woman praying for me while I was at the house. They weren't P-R-A-Y praying, they were P-R-E-Y praying. Y'all ain't got to talk to me. And I knew, I said, yeah, this, this woman is talking to God. And she still practices that today. She'll, she'll be in another room, I can hear her praying for me. She gets up every day and she's calling my name. She's praying for my success, praying for the ministry. That— you need people who can walk through valleys with you. Otherwise, they need to be buried. I know you like them, but they ain't good for the journey. Yeah, they fun, they make you laugh, but they're not gonna stand through nothing. Mountain lion get in front of you, they're gonna be the first one run. Are y'all hearing this? Okay, go to Ecclesiastes 7. Nicole, put it up there for him. I think it's the next one. Ecclesiastes 7. Here we go. No worries. The Bible says this. It says, when times are good— say good— good. Just, just solidifying what I just said. Be happy. So in the valley, you know the people that can stick with you because they— when you up, they're going to be up with you. When you down, they're going to be there to be a support. But when times are bad, consider this: God has made the one as well as the other. Therefore, no one can discover anything about their future. So God made the good the good and the bad. Wait a minute, I thought the only thing God bring to my life was good stuff. God made both. He made both, and he uses the bad for context for the good. Takes you through bad situations. I wouldn't know what it means to be in a good marriage if I hadn't been in a bad one. I don't wish divorce on nobody, but I went through the things I went through too so I can appreciate what I got now. Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. You, you won't know what a good job is until you had worked on a bad one, until you work for some folk you don't want to work for. So God uses the valley to give you a sense of value and appreciation. Because, because some people don't know how to be happy when the stuff is good. They still want to complain and it done got better. Some people ain't happy until something goes wrong. I don't need them kind of folk around me. They, they are a walking billboard for drama. Everything will be going okay, and then when they show up, the first thing you see is drama, queen, king, strife. The Bible says mark the person that brings strife and brings drama, put a mark on their head so you know when they coming. Y'all hearing this? Because you— we, we got too much to do for that kind of foolishness. He says God has made one, therefore no man can discover You can't control your future because you don't, you don't control good and bad. You know what he's also saying? It could be awesome right now, and then he said, I'm gonna drop you off in a valley because I got to take you to this mountain. I got to train you in the valley. Are y'all hearing this? Yeah, that's Jerry. You understand how that feels. Right? Yes, sir. High up in the government, move to Georgia, give up your, your, your high position in the government to trust God in the valley. Are y'all hearing this? He knew though. Watch this. What, what he's doing is trying to teach us in the valley how to accept prosperity and adversity as parts of life, as part of the process that gets you to dominion. Are y'all with me? Watch this. They're a part of his design. It's in the DNA of what he's doing. It's in the tapestry of what he's doing, because both prosperity and adversity, the good and the bad Prepare us for dominion, because you got to be able to appreciate both. Amen. All right, this next gate— oh, we're gonna get to another one tonight, and I'm gonna get— we're gonna get out of here. Okay, just keep that right there. Let's keep that one up there. We want to talk about the Dong Gate. It is in the Bible. And if you look closely at that picture, you see the little poop emoji. This is the poop gate. Poop emoji sitting on the toilet, which represents the gate. Are y'all hearing this? Matter of fact, two gates connect to the toilet: the one on your body and the one that's in that hole in the water. Are y'all hearing this? The Dung Gate. Yeah, let's read it, let's read it. The Dung Gate, yeah, repaired by Melchizedek. All right, let's look at Melchizedek. Melchizedek's name means My king is Jehovah. So even when you're in poop— are y'all hearing this? Even when stuff is stinking— are y'all hearing this? Even when you can't stand it and it's poop everywhere He says your God is still king, and he's going to repair the gate even in the midst of the poop. Are y'all with me? And Micaiah was the son— watch this, oh, here we go— of Recab. And Recab's name means— oh, I love this, y'all can look it up, it's for real, these words mean this— it means rider. So in the midst of poop, you need a rider. And notice Micaiah, the son of Recab, the ruler of Beth-shechem, built it. He didn't have nobody building this gate with him. Every other gate we read about, it was two or threefold. First Gate had 4 prophets. It's just him. You know why? Because it's important to not bring people into your poop. Are y'all hearing this? Go back to the bathroom scene. So, so when you're in there I love my wife, but when she going there, y'all ain't gonna talk to do that. I'm not going with her. Amen. And she ain't gonna come in with me, right? And if she stayed too long, I'm gonna holler in there. I'm not gonna even go. I'm gonna holler, you all right? Because I don't want to get too close to the door before the deal is done. Y'all hearing this? True, true.
You talking, brother? Yes sir, yes sir.
You handle your poop alone. Are y'all hearing this? So if you still got poop in your life, you shouldn't be a prophet up trying to prophesy to people. Are y'all hearing this? My Lord. Shouldn't be an apostle up talking about you an apostle and all you— all I smell is poop. Are y'all hearing this? Come on, Evangelist Poo Poo, sit down, cuz we got to handle this. Talking good. I'm just— my daddy growing up, you definitely couldn't be in there or nowhere near when he was getting ready to use the bathroom, because my daddy was unorthodox. He wouldn't even— it wasn't like normal folk. He would go in there and take all his clothes off. I'm like, what is going on in here? Why you got to get butt naked to use the bathroom, sir? Okay, but it wasn't my business. Are y'all hearing this? He'll tell me, hey Mike, there ain't none of your business. Well, I got to take off all my clothes? You just handle your business like you handle yours. What am I saying? You— again, he's alone. Go back to the text. In the text, he's alone. His daddy sent him, 'Go on down there, man, and repair that gate.' He built it, set up the doors of it, locks of it, and the bars. So why is this gate important to the kingdom and to dominion? I'm glad you asked. Ah, glory. So watch this. So the dung gate represented the removal of waste. So all of the waste that was inside of the kingdom walls would pass through none of the other gates but the dung gate. Are y'all hearing this? That's why when you got to use the bathroom, you go to the bathroom. At some point in life, somebody trained you to go to the potty and take care of business, right? You just don't do that everywhere. And even after you trained, if you like me, I can't do that everywhere. Are y'all hearing this? I gotta keep being my own gate. So I'm very prayerful when I'm out, and I'm very watchful for what I put in my body. 'Cause I know me, I'll be somewhere trying to get home to use the bathroom. What am I saying here? This, this Gade eliminates the waste from the system. So your body— watch this— functions first natural, then spiritual. So your body first has intake. So you intake food. After you intake, your body then has assimilation. So it starts assimilating the food in your digestive system that you have intaked. It decides for you whether it's healthy or not, whether it belongs in your body or not. The parts that need to be released, it separates it. Are y'all hearing this? And your digestive system now, after the assimilation, causes elimination. Problem in the church and in leadership and in dominion, we came to church and we in-took a bunch of knowledge. A bunch of information, a bunch of religious protocols. But we did not allow our system in the spirit to have assimilation, to separate the waste. Because watch this, even everything we've heard— bad theology. Just cause you heard it don't mean you need to assimilate it. Oh boy, just because somebody popular said it— are y'all hearing this? Doesn't mean you need to digest that. So the assimilation process determines what's healthy to be digested and what needs to be eliminated. Say elimination. Elimination. So you got to take an inventory in your life and things that you have ingested and all actually digested that you should not have. Watch this, and some of the digestion has caused constipation. Because watch this, and I say this all the time, I've been saying this for a long time, when you receive revelation and information without application, it creates constipation. You're stuck. That's why a lot of people are stuck in the valley, because we've in-took church, ingested church, digested bad theology that we need to eliminate. Watch it, there's some bad theology that came from your parents you need to get rid of. Of. Some of the stuff your mom and daddy taught you will keep you out of dominion. First of all, most of our mamas and daddies, they had no faith and no concept of dominion. And I'm talking about your mama, I am. Mine too. The reality is, if I bought into some of the theology my mama taught me— y'all ain't got to talk— I would not be here today. I would— y'all ain't got to say— I would probably be doing something really crazy. She meant well and was trying to keep me on a certain path. My mom was an educator trying to keep me educated. I would have been locked, probably a nerd somewhere. I probably would have invented the BlackBerry or something. I mean, that's probably what I would have been doing, stuff like that. I would have appreciated that money they had on that run. They had a good run. I mean, at one point they were 89% of the cell phone market, but today they're 0%. Guess why? Because they refused to eliminate that arrogance that made them believe their design was the best thing since sliced bread. And iPhone came with the iPhone 1 and said, man, y'all better take that keyboard off that phone. And they would not listen, trying to keep— see, see, watch this. You can't be Blockbuster in a Netflix world. Yeah, see, some of y'all don't even remember Blockbuster, right? Blockbuster, you had to go rent a tape. Blockbuster would not listen. Matter of fact, Netflix came to them and said, hey, let us buy you out and let us partner and work together since you're already in the industry, right? Right, right. Blockbuster said, nah, we ain't going nowhere. We got millions of customers, they're gonna keep coming to our store. Definitely said we're gonna see about that. Now it ain't a Blockbuster in sight. It's probably one left on earth in a little town in Montana. Are y'all hearing this? Because in Montana the internet bad, so they needed to rent a DVD. Are y'all listening to me? You got to eliminate stuff that will stop you from taking authority into me. That's right. But you got to handle your own stuff. That's right. Oh my God. So a healthy body in the natural is always eliminating waste. So it's a good thing when you go into the bathroom, right? You're not— that's a bad thing. You need fiber, you need a laxative, something to assist movement. Somebody said, why are we talking about— listen, I'm trying to help you. The corporate church needs to eliminate some things. What is it? First of all, we need to eliminate false doctrine. If you're preaching the gospel, let me say this for somebody listening. The gospel is something you can preach anywhere. If you're preaching something you can't preach anywhere, it ain't the gospel. I'll say that one more time. If you're preaching something you cannot preach anywhere, it's not the gospel. I've been to Catholic churches to preach. I preached Jesus, and guess what? It worked. I've been to Methodist, I've been to— I've been all kind of denominations and preached Jesus and it works. Been to Muhammad's and ecumenical gatherings and preached Jesus and it worked, because the gospel can be preached anywhere. But we got to get rid of these false doctrines that arise from seducing spirits. The Bible says in the last day many will give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, and there'll be a great falling away. You— we're in that now. I'm telling you, it's happening every day. I am so— the question came up to me last night from the Holy Spirit: what do you think about the young preachers of today? Just the Holy Spirit. And I sat there a minute and said, hmm, I'm really disappointed because one, today's preacher is not a student of the word and they're not sensitive in prayer. The best preaching comes from prayer. Are y'all with me? I don't care how well you can exegete the text and make hermeneutical adjustments and etymological theories about the text. The reality is, if you ain't praying, you don't have no revelation. Preaching and teaching has to be prophetic. Are y'all listening to to me. It should point people to Christ, and most preaching today points people to the one holding the mic. Let me let— let me let— I don't, I don't want nobody to ever, ever worship me, because the moment you do it, God's gonna show you I am a human. Are y'all hearing this? Because I ain't God. I have to talk to him so I can talk to you. But preachers today, they read to preach. I don't read to preach. Ah, Jesus. Matter of fact, you got preachers— I've seen them come to this church and do it— they'll be up here with their iPad And instead of— now what I have open is a Bible and notes I took while studying. That's what's open on my iPad. I've seen preachers come in here, have a whole book open that ain't they book, preaching a whole chapter out of a book. No, you need to spend just so we can appear deep. That's It ain't worth that. Talk to God for what the people need. Are y'all here? And then speak what they need, not what you want to say. You think I want to be preaching— this is part 18 of the mystery of dominion. I got some messages I would love. I had a whole series I want to preach for resurrection. Leading up to the resurrection, that is gone. We'll be preaching resurrection after the resurrection because I have to do what God tells me. Are y'all here? Yes, sir. So yeah, man, yeah, you, you, we, we have to get this right, man, because there's a lot of false doctrine because we got a lot of preachers who are lazy. They don't spend time with God. And my wife will tell you, I talk like this, but I live this. She live with me. I pray, I study, because I don't want to— no matter where I go, whether it's here, I'm preaching somewhere else, I want to make sure what's coming out of me came from him. That's why I talk how I want to talk. I say what he tell me to say. I don't be afraid because he gave it to me. And whoever don't like it, whatever. Are y'all hearing this? But a healthy church has to eliminate— we gotta go to the bathroom, man. We need spiritual laxative and get the false doctrine out. Secondly, we gotta eliminate toxic thinking, poisonous mindsets. Watch this. Jesus gave us the mindset to have. He said, let the same mind be in you. Wait a minute, let the mind that's almost like mine, let the mind that want to be like mine, the same mind be in you and I that was also in Christ Jesus. So we ought to be emulating the mind of Christ, not our favorite author. Are y'all hearing this? Not our favorite YouTube preacher, not the guy that's filling up arenas. We need to be emulating the mind of Christ. What would Christ do? They came out with something a long time ago, these bracelets that said, 'What would Jesus do?' Folk was still sinning with the bracelet on them, be in the sin looking at the bracelet. What happened to 'What would Jesus do?' See, he— you got to get his mind. No bracelet going to stop you, right? Mhm. Cuz guess what I know about people? We going to do what we want to do. True. But if you got Christ and you think like him, like a dominion mind supposed to think, you're going to do what he would do in every given situation. There wasn't a situation Jesus came up against that he didn't dominate. Jesus need to pay his taxes. Okay, ain't got no physical money, but we gonna get some. Let me talk to these fish, let them go eat money. Now you go down there, go fishing. The first fish come up, take the money out his mouth, pay our taxes. Are y'all hearing this? Never departed. One sitting there trying to say, oh, let me work out an arrangement to get my taxes paid. One trying to get a hookup on his taxes. He dominated the situation. Disciples walking around complaining, well, Jesus, you know, you've been out here teaching all day, you know, you long-winded. These folk hungry, we gotta feed them. Yeah. Jesus said, what you got? He said, well, we ain't got nothing but 2 fish and 5 loaves of bread. He said, that's all we need. The Bible said Jesus took the fish, broke it, blessed it. And the fish multiplied and he fed 5,000. He never was a departer. He never bought in to what the system presented him. Are y'all hearing me? So you got to get the mind of Christ and get that toxic thinking, worldly secular system thinking out of your mind. I'm almost done. I know it's almost time to go. It's time to go. I'm almost done. Number 3, write it down. You got to eliminate spiritual contamination. You got to know who's around you, who's in your atmosphere that's contaminating your spirit with negativity, contaminating your spirit with doubt. Contaminating your spirit with the desire to sin. Watch this. You know, certain things you watch contaminates you. Certain music you listen to contaminates you. Yeah, my wife took me to an event today. Only reason I went because she invited me. I said, well, this is a church event and it's going to be saved in here. So it was a senior's soiree. Her sister did all the decorations. And so church— won't call the name of the church. The church was— so I'm getting better. I ain't even calling the name of the church. And you know, everybody dressed up kind of like we had our sneaker ball. They had their sneakers on. So I put on my little stuff, got my niggas. So we're gonna have a good time, we're gonna eat and enjoy this fellowship. I get in there, I ain't heard one gospel song. I mean, listen, I get it, you know, we had a ball, but I heard Teddy Pendergrass, Luther, The Whispers. I mean, they done went— I'm talking about every playlist was worldly. But this is what took the cake. The seniors got up there and boy, they were shaking their rumps and dropping it like it's hot and twerking. I'm like, in a minute they're gonna have to call the ambulance for these old folks. 'Cause it was a mess. Yeah, they were bootsing on the ground with the fans. It was just— My Lord. And I'm looking at my wife, what in the world you got me into? But, and I asked, I said, Kim, could we just, you know, we got some gospel love songwriters. They could have played them love songs. They could have played some gospel like Mali Music. He has good lyrics and it's upbeat. Matter of fact, Kirk Franklin on the fence. So you could have just played a Kirk song. I'm just saying. So I had to— I really— I got quiet. My mother-in-law was sitting at the table with me. I just started praying to myself because I'm like, I don't need my spirit contaminated with this. Because I started hearing Luther saying, don't you remember I told you? And that stuff is— that's— y'all don't need to remember all that stuff. Yeah. Are y'all hearing this? Listen, I need to keep my gates closed. Yeah. Are y'all hearing this? I don't want— I don't want to— I don't want to hear certain stuff because it can contaminate. So y'all look how y'all looking at me. Yeah, so be— I'm just saying, be careful where you put your ears and your eyes and your mouth because these are gates. Your ears is a gate, so you can't be in on every conversation.
It's true.
You can't watch everything on TV. You single, you don't need to be watching a movie with a whole bunch of sex scenes in it. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but I'm just saying, I'm trying to help you out, especially because it can get in your spirit. Okay, last thing and we're gonna go. Number 4, and this is so important, we have to eliminate through the dong gate excuses. Excuses are the nails that houses of failure are built from. You want to build a house of failure, keep making excuses. Keep making excuses. But if you really want to be a person of dominion, you got to let that go. You got to take responsibility. A person that makes excuses never really takes responsibility for their own actions. They always point the finger at somebody else. Are y'all hearing this? But you gotta own your stuff. You'll never get better making excuses. If you know you don't pray enough, stop making excuses, start praying more. You know you're slothful, stop being slothful. Glory to God. Put it in another gear, but stop making the excuses. Because what it becomes, on top of being the nails houses of failure are built from, excuses then become Oh boy, a well-planned lie. Because people will sit down and think about what I'm gonna say to make me and them feel good about what I'm not doing. True. Well, often when you make an excuse, the only person you fooling is you, because the person on the other end know you making an excuse. Excuse. They already know you could do better. Don't let excuses be— we, we got to stop trying to make excuses for God. God is always 100% invested in us. It's us that come short. Well, God, if I would have been— you let me be born with some more parents and not these. Some people prayed that before. Maybe not in here, somebody done said it, trust me. Maybe if we weren't so poor, God, I would have been a different person. People start blaming God and it becomes an excuse for why they don't do things. Lord, if I had the money, I'll start that business. If God told you to start it, what— why are you worried about it? Stop. That ain't an excuse you could use. He said, I'll supply your need according to my riches in glory. What you're doing is trying to talk yourself out of doing it, and you're trying to make an excuse to not walk by faith and not by sight. Are y'all here? See, the church is constipated with excuses, man. If we look at the world, most of the world's successful people are successful— if you study the habits of successful people, men and women who have achieved success financially, in business or otherwise, You'll find that they are not people who make excuses. You'll find that their language is aggressive. They always talk about what they're going to do, and even when they don't have the resources, they speak with an affirmation that the resources will be made available. And these folk don't even know God.
Boy.
Going back to the, the BlackBerry folk, man, when they was building that company, these was just a group of nerds who had no really business savvy. They brought in a CEO, and when the CEO came in, he was able to change the trajectory of what they was doing. But they were building stuff, taking out loans on faith in what they were building. Not in God. They believed that the product was going to work. I mean, they were borrowing millions of dollars to build a product in hopes they got a return. Back to the farmer with buying seed. What are you willing to sacrifice instead of making an excuse so you could take dominion? Or are we just gonna always resort to comfort? And then you listening to a negative theology that strokes your position. Well, why would you leave that job and you ain't got another job yet? Why would you leave that job and your business ain't made no money yet? What if God tells you to do it? Are y'all hearing it? Lord have mercy. Jesus declared this. I'm almost done. He said, you're clean through the word which I have spoken to you. So when the word comes, it becomes a laxative. It gets us— it should cleanse us. It should cleanse our mind. It should restore our soul. Listen, I'm done. Deliverance doesn't always have to be a dramatic moment. See, again, that's more bad theology. We think somebody gotta be hollering and waving and throwing up all over the place for deliverance to happen. Jesus said, you are cleansed through the word I spoke. So if you receive the word, just like that castor my grandmama used to give me You better not tell your grandma— my grandmama— you couldn't go to the bathroom. She had something for you. That castor oil was the worst tasting stuff in the world, but it gets you moving just like that. It cleaned you out quick. She knew what she was talking about. That's how the word should do when you receive it. It should remove all that stuff that keeps you from doing what you're called to do. Y'all stand, I'm done. We going. I hope y'all, y'all get something out of this tonight besides cleaning up poop. It's, it's, it's, it's a real thing, man, cuz people will expect you to tolerate their poop when it's their responsibility to clean themselves. Are y'all hearing this? Touch yourself. Say, I got to get myself together. I want you to throw your arms around yourself real quick, and we're going to pray. And I want you to close your eyes, because when you close your eyes, you're actually taking a look in. And I want you to look inside of yourself tonight. We were singing a song earlier saying to God that he's God alone, wrapped up in his arms. So wrap your arms around yourself. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. And I want you tonight just to begin to take a close look at you. How can you do better? How can you handle your valleys better? How can you handle getting rid of things in your life that need to go, things that are slowing you down, things that are hindering you, ideologies, thought processes, mindsets, people, whatever it is. I want you to resolve tonight that you're going to let it go. Watch this. Family, friend, or foe, you got to release them. You got to decide that there is more. You got to go get what you need so you can come back to them and get them. And you can pull them higher. So Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for this word tonight. While it was comical in some ways, it was dead serious. Father, thank you that the ingestion that we've received— thank you, God, that you've trusted us for receiving word and teaching throughout our lives. We've received parenting and mentorship and leadership in different facets. But God, tonight, in the name of Jesus, I'm asking you to help us to assimilate in the realm of the spirit. And as we look in tonight, those things, those weights and those sins that's slowing us down, that's creating delays in our life, let the word cleanse us. Let the word be a spiritual laxative. Let it remove everything in our life that's not like you. We want to be more like you, Jesus. Hallelujah! We want to be more like you, Jesus. We were created in your image and your likeness, God. You told us to let the same mind be in us that was also in Christ Jesus. So Father, we thank you. Jesus, we bless you for your word. We thank you for your word. We thank you for your word. Do something unusual in our lives, God, something man cannot accomplish. Let unique dominion purposes emerge out of our lives as we go through valleys. As we go through the valley of the shadow of death, we fear no evil. For thou art with us. Your rod and your staff comfort us. Surely goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our life. And we thank you and we bless you for it now, in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. Clap your hands, everybody. Give God praise. Hallelujah. We bless him. I pray you were blessed tonight. Uh, the ways to give are up. We're gonna just go tonight. Listen, however you want to, if you choose to give tonight, there's no pressure. If you're online, please go on the live, y'all, and put the ways to give up in the comments so that the people watching can see. Praise the name of God. But get seed in the ground, respond to the word in your giving tonight. No pressure, but trust God with seed. Amen. Glory to the name of God. Just a few announcements. On Sunday, we'll be here for two services again. Last— this past Sunday night was great. We got in, we got out. So let's make sure we're here on Sunday. But then on Resurrection Sunday, glory to the name of God, um, Good Friday, April 3rd, 7 o'clock PM, we got a guest coming in Um, that's gonna— the guest psalmist that's coming in. I'm gonna preach. Let's fill this house up. There'll be some flyers here on Sunday for those services. Please take them, share them with people. Let's fill this house up this weekend. Uh, that Saturday we're celebrating the love of my life, her 61st birthday. Glory to God. And I'm excited to celebrate with her all weekend, and then the week after that we're gonna just celebrate. Amen. So y'all come out Saturday, uh, you should have gotten instructions on that, and let's celebrate, uh, with our First Lady. Then on Sunday morning, uh, we got a guest speaker, Apostle Nerissa O'Neal from Las Vegas, Nevada. She's going to be speaking. We've known her for a long time. She's one of my daughters. She's well equipped, and we're going to be blessed. So again, let's, uh, come and receive And let's bring guests with us. Amen. Glory to God. If you have not secured your cabin, many of you have. Shannon, the Lord said you need to go. Just stop going back. Just, just go on and secure your cabin. You need to go. Yeah, you need to go. Yeah. And all the— just do it and other stuff's going to work out. Just, just, just go on and commit to it and do it. Yeah. We're going to have a good cruise. We got quite a few already registered. So make sure if you haven't, go ahead. We're happy about this cruise. It's going to be good. Dominion at Sea. So let's make sure that we lock in on that. All right. All hearts and minds clear. We're going home. Everybody stand. I pray y'all were blessed. Did y'all receive tonight? I want to make sure on Thursdays, you know, you feel like it's worth you coming out, getting this word. And you know, it's easy to watch it online, but being in the room— I don't know about— for me, it's different when I, when I'm sitting where the speaker is speaking versus me watching them speak. Amen. So I pray you've gotten something today. I remember we're going to Las Vegas. Um, if you're going, we'll be glad to see you there. It's going to be good. All right, let's pray. Father, we thank you for this service. Thank you for Prophetess Shannon and Pastor Jeffrey, how they led us in intercessory prayer today. And thank you, God, that you heard our prayers. Thank you for every person that came out tonight. Nicole, my wife, thank you for Shannon. Thank you for Pastor Jeffrey. Thank you for Minister Tanya. Thank you for Prophetess Tanya. God, we give you praise and glory for what you're doing in our lives. God, bless every online person that partook tonight. And Father, we pray that as we go from this place We'll never leave your presence. We thank you that your spirit go before us, make our way smooth, successful, and prosperous. And we praise you for it now in Jesus' name. Meet us here Sunday with great power and anointing, and we glorify you for it now in Jesus' name. Amen. God bless you. You are dismissed. Amen.
