Garden Living, Part 1: Empowered to Prosper | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr.

In this charismatic sermon, Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. leads the congregation through a high‑energy worship session before moving into a series of teachings centered on prosperity theology and biblical dominion. He opens with prayers of surrender and calls the audience to physically take out their wallets or any place where they keep money, urging them to declare wealth and prosperity over their finances, citing Proverbs 10:22 as proof that God’s blessing makes the righteous rich without sorrow. Woods then interprets Genesis 1:26‑28, emphasizing that humanity was created in God’s image with authority to rule, subdue, and multiply the earth. He argues that a “mindset shift” from poverty to an Eden‑like mentality is essential for believers to exercise this dominion, linking spiritual authority to material wealth, business success, and community impact. The sermon also addresses gender roles, dismisses LGBTQ identities as contrary to God’s design, and critiques church leaders who misuse funds, urging financial stewardship for kingdom work. Personal anecdotes about childhood trauma illustrate the principle that perceived authority becomes real authority. Throughout, Woods employs repetitive spoken declarations, urging listeners to speak blessings into existence, affirming that God’s word creates reality. The overall message is that believers are empowered to prosper, be fruitful, multiply, replenish, and dominate their spheres, both spiritually and materially.

Lord, we surrender it all to your name, Jesus. We surrender it all to your name. Come on, we surrender it all to your name, Lord. Lord, we worship your wonderful name. We cry out, Heavenly Father. We cry out to your wonderful name. We cry out to your name, Lord. Lord, we cry out to you, Jesus. Oh, we cry out to your name. We cry out to your name today, Lord.
Hallelujah, Lord.
Hallelujah, Jesus! Holy Spirit, sweet comfort to my soul. Holy Spirit, let your joyfully-yam unfold. Lord of the promise, power of the highest, Spirit of glory. Voice of the Lord, breathe on me. We are waiting, blessed Master.
Like the day of Pentecost.
Lord, let the wind blow fresh from heaven and let your promise power begin. Oh Lord of the promise, power of the highest, spirit of glory, voice of the Lord, breathe on me. Breathe on me, Lord. Lord, Lord of the promise, power of the highest, Spirit of glory, voice of the Lord. Breathe on me, breathe on me. Lord, breathe on us today. Yes, Lord, breathe on us today. Lord, Holy Spirit, breathe on us. Oh, breathe on us today. Oh, breathe on us today.
Jesus, everybody! Hallelujah! Hallelujah, Jesus! There's a word from the Lord today. I'm not going to prolong the time because I want to pray for you today, and I'm believing God for miracles in your life. God spoke to me and said that this weekend will be a weekend of unusual things. And that this unusual breakthrough that we will begin to experience this weekend will carry throughout our next year. And I'm just trusting God that we will just begin to see some amazing manifestations today.
Amen.
In your finances, in your body, and everything that pertains to you, I want to see the blessing of the Lord show up. Amen. I want you to do me a favor as I teach this, this today, and this is the instruction the Lord gave me. Matter of fact, he didn't give me this until I stood over there while Minister Anderson was worshiping. I want you— if you got a wallet, a purse, anything where you keep your money, your credit cards, take it out. Take it out right now. I'm not finna rob you, but take it out. Obey the Lord. Even if ain't nothing in it, take it out. Take it out. I'm telling you what the Lord told me to take it out. Even if you bank through your phone, take out your phone and open up Cash App, whatever you bank with, your bank. Whatever connects you to money, take it out. I'm gonna take out— I brought my card up here, I'm gonna take my card out. Don't nobody come up here and take a picture of my card and be trying to shop. Let me put it right here just in case. Hallelujah. But God told me to do that because as we— I started teaching a series on Thursday entitled Handle Your Mess. Did anybody see Thursday night's teaching? Amen. We're going to continue through that on Thursday nights, but this is an addendum to that because God began to show me how we are living in a mess financially and how, as we go into this next year, he wants to work some real miracles in our finances. And I already know we don't like to talk about money in church, but it's too late. You here now. And if you try to leave, I'm gonna just walk behind you and start preaching. The mic will reach in here. I'm just gonna walk behind you. All right, so you, you here now. Glory to God.
And I want to talk about how we need to shift our— where we live.
The reason our finances are jacked up sometimes because we live in the wrong place. Look at somebody, say, you got to change your address. Hallelujah. So for some people, that's literal, right? Just tell somebody, you got to change your address. Wow, that could be true for some physically. I'm speaking mentally and spiritually. You got to relocate. As long as your mind is trapped in poverty, you'll stay poor. As long as your mind is trapped in just enough, that's all you have is just enough. But I want to submit to you that we were created, and we'll start here, in a place called Eden. Somebody say Eden. We're creating the Garden of Eden. In Eden was everything we needed.
The Bible even said that even God visited man every single day. Even this transliterated— and we'll talk a little bit about this in a minute—
as Paradise.
And most of the saints I know, they ain't living in paradise.
A lot of saints going through hell. But can I submit to you, that's not the will of God.
God wants us to live in Eden, but we got to relocate in our mind first. You got to own this place in your mind first before it shows up.
So if I, if I was entitled this today, because every, every week on the Sunday or Saturday I'm gonna hit to cover this, but I'm gonna call this Empowered to Prosper.
From day one, you was empowered to prosper.
I'm talking about the day you were born. You were, you were born in your DNA was the ability to prosper and win.
Touch yourself.
Say, I was born to prosper.
Come on, say it again. I was born to prosper.
I'm gonna move a little closer, y'all, because y'all might— I'm gonna get— let me—
can I get a little closer?
Y'all feel like we family, all right?
So go to Proverbs 10:22.
Let's start right there.
Can I talk to y'all a little bit today? Touch yourself one more time.
Say, I'm empowered to prosper. Now just tell somebody else, say to them, say, in case you didn't say it to you, say it to yourself.
Tell them, listen to me, tell them, you're empowered to prosper. The Bible says here in Proverbs 10:22, the blessing of the Lord it maketh rich. Wait a minute. And he adds no sorrow with it.
So the B clause of the verse tells me that the blessing is not a Bentley, it's not a car, it's not land, it's not property, it's not a house. The B clause telling me the blessing is a person.
The blessing makes you rich, and he doesn't give you sorrow with it. So who is the blessing? Who is this he?
It's God. It's the Holy Spirit.
He's the blessing. As a matter of fact, the Hebrew word is Barakah. B-A-R-A-K-A-H. Barakah. Barakah means the source of all prosperity and happiness.
Okay, y'all with me, or did I lose you already? Say this to me, say, God is my source. I need y'all to grab that.
Your job's not your source. If you got a husband, husband's not source.
Are y'all hearing this?
Business is not source, because I'm a busy person. A business can get slow, but you gotta know when business gets slow who the source is. I don't know, they ain't got no contracts. Okay, then based on the contracts that's coming in, my flow is based on the blessing.
Touch yourself, say, he's the source.
It also indicates that the source is worthy to be blessed because he blesses. So what makes him worthy of our praise, of our adoration, is the fact that he has blessed us. So since the blessing of the Lord maketh rich and addeth no sorrow, he— a lot of times we read it so fast we don't get the he. We'll say the blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow. But there's a real person involved with this blessing.
Oh my God, wait a minute. It says he makes rich. The Hebrew word for rich is ashar, A-S-H-A-R, ashar, which literally means to accumulate to grow rich and become wealthy. I'm about to raise the bar for you today.
If you're a child of God, this is his plan. You got to shift your mindset to this being God's plan.
Okay, let's say that this afternoon.
Say, it's God's will that I accumulate grow rich and become wealthy.
Some of y'all scared to say it.
Let me say it one more time so the scared folk can catch up. So it's God's will for me to accumulate, grow rich, and become wealthy.
That's in the Bible. I didn't make that up. That's scripture.
So that means you are— again, you are empowered to prosper. Let me read this in another translation. The Brenton Translation says, the blessing of the Lord is upon the head of the righteous. It enriches him, and grief shall not be added to it. So God says, I want you to have no grief in your life.
All right, take that wallet, whatever you took out, just grab it real quick, rub on it, and say it again.
We're gonna say in the name of Jesus, so it's God's will that I accumulate, grow rich, and become wealthy.
I need y'all to get that, man.
Glory to God. So that them, them expensive pocketbooks y'all got filled up Glory to God. The NIV says the blessing of the Lord brings wealth and adds no trouble to it. How many people you see walking around talking about I'm blessed and highly favored of the Lord, but they got so much trouble? He wants you just to be able to do more than say that. He wants you to really be blessed.
I had a lady one time, I loved her so dearly, but she's getting on my nerves.
Every time I see her, "How you doing today?" "I'm blessed and highly favored of the Lord." And I knew how broke she was, and I wanted to say, "You know, please stop saying that unless you take some action to align your life with that confession." Felicia loves—
she know what I'm talking about. That's her friend. Glory to God. But she used to get on my nerves. Praise God.
And she may watch this, but praise— I love you, I really love you, lady.
Glory to God.
She was a member of our church.
She moved away, her and her husband, to Pittsburgh. Glory to God. But every time I see her, she was making a confession.
But she meant well. But you have to align action with your words. Are y'all hearing this?
So what exactly is The blessing that this man bestows upon us.
Let's go to Genesis 1.
Can we walk through the word a little bit today? Verse 26. Here we go. Genesis 1:26. That's the first book of the Bible for those of you that are turning pages. And if you ain't found it yet, it's suggestive that you might ought to read that book a little more. Praise God.
Uh, Genesis chapter number 1.
Glory to God.
Verse number 26, the Bible says, and God said— who said?
Not Moses, not Isaiah. God said And because God is the King of the earth, he's a king. Whenever he speaks a thing, it becomes law. Whenever he decrees a thing, it becomes law.
So this is law.
This doesn't change.
So God says, let us make man in our image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creepeth thing that creepeth upon the earth. Verse 27, so God created man in his own image. In the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Verse 28: And God blessed them, and he said again, be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the fowl of the air, over every living thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Now I'm not going to unpack these verses totally because I teach Dominion all the time. But what I want to make the point is of where this blessing comes from. So the first thing we see is that God said something. Whenever God pronounces something over your life, it indeed is designed to help you accumulate, grow rich, and become wealthy.
Whether that's a material good or spiritual good, God, whenever he pronounces something over your life, is for your accumulation. It's for your growth, it's for your wealth. When you get a prophecy, it's not that someone's just holding a mic speaking a word to you. You're getting a word because it's for your accumulation, your growth, and your wealth.
Oh my God, today touch your belly and say, God wants me to grow rich.
I mean, so this will help you how you even receive prophetic words. If the word doesn't edify you, I doubt if it came from God. Even if it corrects you, it should bring edification. Oh boy, every word is a blessing. Every time God speaks, it's a blessing. That's why we come to church.
I don't know how people could just miss church, because every time we gather, it's an opportunity to hear what God said.
I promise y'all, I can't speak for every church, but for me, I've been preaching too long just to show up here and tell you what's on my mind, because y'all might not want to hear what's on my mind. Y'all need to hear what God is thinking. And so I have to spend time with him to hear from him about what he needs you to hear in this season of your life. And every leader, you should never take for granted that when you get to church, you're gonna get a word.
I'm gonna say that again. The one place you ought to be able to take somebody for granted is church.
You don't take for granted the person that stands in this spot is hearing from God. You should assume that, otherwise they should not call themselves a man or woman of God.
Because they just—
because they just get up and start opening some scriptures and saying something. This is your life. This is the blessing being pronounced over you.
So the Bible says here, he said something. What did he say?
He said, let us—
this is the first part of the blessing— let us make man in our image.
Teselam.
In Hebrew, the word teselam means an exact duplicate in kind. Wait a minute, that means I am duplicated like the Godhead. I am made like God. That's why Jesus could say— I was telling them at my dad's church this morning— when you seen me, you seen the Father. I was making the example in the natural. You see me, you see my dad. I'm a representative of him, or what he taught me, what he trained me to do in my formative years.
We're made to be like our God, not to just show up and talk about him like he don't exist.
Touch yourself, say, I'm made like God.
He says, let us make men in our image, exactly like us. So you were created to be divine.
Oh, touch yourself. Say, I have a divine nature. So wait a minute, if that ain't a blessing.
The next time somebody tells you you're not enough, the next time somebody tells you you can't do what you're saying you're going to accomplish, you need to remind them of who you made like. Because when you show up, he shows up. And watch this, anthropomorphically it says also remain in his likeness, which means an anthropomorphic term means that what attributes God has, I have. So I have a nose, God has a nose.
That's anthropomorphism.
I have a hand, God has a hand. I'm made in his image, exactly like his nature, but also in his likeness. I have legs like God. God has hair. We have hair because our daddy got hair.
Oh boy, y'all hear me? I know y'all thought God looked like this big spooky— no, he looks—
we look like him.
The pattern carries into natural life. That's why you look like your parents. I can look back here at these Martins and I know every last one of them is related.
They could tell me they not, I'm gonna tell them they lying because they look alike.
Are y'all hearing this? They look alike.
I look at Felicia and Taylor, they're in the same family. I see the DNA.
Are y'all hearing this?
What would make you think we don't look like our daddy?
Just know, just so you look like your daddy.
I'm telling you right now, you look like your daddy. So that ought to give you some new confidence.
My daddy was always a, um, a dapper man, so it gave me pleasure.
Even today, my daddy saw me, he said when I got through talking, he said, son, just tell me how—
what size that suit you got on is, because I want it. For him to say that to me means a lot, because again, I've always— he's always been the person I've looked up to, him and my stepfather, in dressing. The reality is we like our daddy, y'all. And so no matter whether you're tall, short, wide, thin, we look like him.
He's made us the way we are supposed to be. And anybody that don't love that, they need to step off and find them somebody else, or, or whatever. Because you need to be you. Because the moment you start saying, I'm not going to be me, you're saying to God, I don't appreciate the fact that you made me like you.
Touch yourself. Say, I'm like him. That's the first part of the blessing.
Let's, let's read that same verse, verse 26, in the New Living Translation.
It said, let us make human beings in our image and to be like us. So not only again am I made exact replica of how God is, I'm made to be like him. He's a ruler. He rules the entire earth. So that means I should have dominion. I should be in control.
I should be in a—
not just dance over his name and get happy about who he is.
No, his—
our greatest expression of praise and worship is when we live out our likeness toward him, when people can look at us and see him. And want to know how in the world did you get the way you are?
Why are you such a leader? Why are you ruling in your area? Why are you walking in so much authority?
And you could just say, oh, it's my daddy, because I'm made to be like him.
The Amplified says, let them have complete authority.
That, that's raw dog.
Let them have total—
that's the name of this church, Rada Church.
Let them have total dominion.
Again, I'm not going to teach about dominion today, but in the day, our call is to dominate the world, to have total authority in every aspect.
And that's why we're all created in his likeness with unique, authentic administrations that flow out of us so each of us can dominate in our area of expertise.
Are y'all hearing this? Roz has something in her that she can dominate that I'm not called to dominate.
My wife has something in her that she must dominate that I can't dominate. And every one of us is uniquely created different so we can have complete— somebody said complete authority.
Say, I'm empowered to prosper. I'm getting somewhere. This, this blessing— I'm just gonna lay a backdrop because it's where it comes from. The New International Revised Version says, let them rule with a strong hand. So God didn't save weaklings, punks, jellybags. Oh Lord Jesus, no wimps. No pushovers.
Are y'all hearing this?
He says we got to rule with a strong hand.
Tell somebody, say, I'm not a pushover.
You need to mean that. And you need to rule with a strong hand and be confident in who God made you.
Verse 27, we read it, it says, so God created man in his own image, exactly like him. In the image of God he created him, male and female he created them. So watch this, he created man and woman. The difference in a male and female, I gotta hit this here, is that a female is just a male a—
watch this—
a female man. All of us are mankind, but what makes my wife different from me is my wife has a role. Are y'all hearing this? She can—
she has produced children, and it'd be a miracle if she produced some now.
But she has all the faculties to do it.
Are y'all hearing this?
I'm trying to show you something. God created male and female.
This in-between stuff that they're coming up with— y'all ain't got to say nothing there.
God did not create that. I don't care. And I always get in trouble about this.
When I started talking about the alphabets, the LGBTQs.
I love y'all, but you're lying when you say God created you like that. Because if you're trans— let's see, the crazy thing about the whole thing, the trans people, they go so far to say, I'm a woman and I'm gonna dress like a woman, put on a skirt, put on heels, put on makeup. You can put the lesbians, the gays, the trans, the queers, all of them in one car.
The most awkward people in the car is the trans.
Even the other ones don't like them because they looking at them like, y'all done went too far with this. Everybody's uncomfortable with the fact that they're really trying to be something they're not.
Because you can put on as many wigs as you want, if you can't have a baby, you still a brother. Okay, yeah, okay.
I'm just, I'm just saying science has indicated that a female has female organs. So God created those two things distinctively to rule.
All right, somebody said they had nothing to do— that was free, I just threw it in.
All right, verse 28: And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth, and subdue it. So here's the blessing. I want you to be fruitful. I want you to multiply your fruitfulness. I want you to subdue the earth. Watch this. Subdue is a Hebrew word to— means to enslave the world to my way of doing things.
Hallelujah.
Yeah, it literally means to make, make them look at you and want to live like you so bad.
So here's a challenge. How do we get people who seemingly have everything— and we know they don't, because if they got a lot of stuff and don't have God, they don't have everything— but how do we get people who seemingly have everything materially to love our God? I talk to rich people all the time that talk about how they won't serve God because the people who serve God don't have what they have. Are y'all hearing this? And it's a valid argument until you get to the depths of what they really need spiritually.
But they ain't thinking like that because darkness don't comprehend light. So in order to draw them to us, we need to walk in the blessing So that people in the world can see not only do we jump, shout, speak in tongues, blow bubbles, roll on the floor, lay hands, prophesy, but we also are rulers. We hire people, we have businesses, we have real careers, we have 7-figure incomes.
Are y'all hearing this? Okay, y'all, okay, grab that wallet again.
Just rub on it, say, in the name of Jesus. Say, the Lord has called me to accumulate, grow rich, and become wealthy. Say, I am empowered to prosper. I am empowered to be fruitful, to multiply, to subdue, to replenish, and have dominion. Say, money is looking for me.
Come on, give God praise for that.
Hallelujah!
Glory to God!
So the very fact that there's a call—
it is that there's a call for you to rule and have domination. That's an indicator that you need to prosper. You can't rule anything broke. Y'all ain't got to say nothing. I know you thought you could, but there's no Greek and Hebrew for that. Broke is just broke, and we can't establish what we need to establish with our wealth.
Amen. So the blessing empowers us to prosper. So this blessing that we read in the text, these are the first words recorded—
watch this— that humans ever heard.
For those that preach against this, this is the first message And people that say the name of our church crazy— no, it ain't. This is the first message that man ever heard.
It was Rada. It was be a ruler, have dominion, have complete authority.
It wasn't speak with tongues, it wasn't pray, it wasn't run, it was have authority.
Are y'all hearing this?
It wasn't prophesy. It wasn't flying through the sanctuary. It was real.
Are y'all hearing this?
Because that's what people want to hear.
How can we fly? Now, if you learn how to be a ruler, God might show you how to fly, because he did say have dominion over the birds of the air. So how are you going to domain them if you can't do what they do?
That's another message for another day. But you, you gotta tap into your own world and rule this world. They're in their kingdom flying around, but guess what?
We dominate them. We're above them in creation. Here we go. Say, I'm blessed, and can nothing change that. Those words are a precedent for all mankind, including you and I. We're not excluded. Dominate. Be in charge, have complete authority. In the text, we'll see a few things in Genesis.
One, God told us, man, the creation, Mr.
Blessing, who he was. You ain't got to figure out who God is.
He told you right here who he was, and then he turned around and told you who you were. He told you you're creating this image and likeness. You made an exact duplicate of him.
You're lords of the earth. That's what he said. Y'all see that?
Touch yourself.
Say, I'm a lord of the earth.
The Bible say the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords. What other lords?
That, that's us. God told us what we was to do in this text.
Very clear.
Be fruitful, which means be very productive. The Hebrew word means be productive. So can I let y'all in on a secret? Just because we attend church doesn't mean we're being productive. Church attendance is great. It's what we learn, is what we worship. But at the end of the day productivity in the kingdom happens when we leave here. What are you doing between Sunday and Sunday that you can look at and say, I'm productive, my life is fruitful? My God, being productive means you abound in whatever you put your hands on. You have good success.
The word fruitful is parah in Hebrew. It means to you abound and have good success in what you plant. So where are you planting yourself and seeing good results? Whether it be in your profession, your career, as a parent, as a spouse— how are you planting yourself and seeing fruitful results? He also told us what we were to do.
He told us to multiply, which that word in Hebrew— I love these words, man. Let me just walk through this. Say multiply. Come on, say it again. Say multiply. Rabbah, R-A-B-B-A-H, which literally means to increase, enlarge, and heap up. Say that with me.
Say increase, enlarge, and heap up.
So when you're enlarging something, you're making it bigger than what it is. So you take the fruit you produce, you continue to sow and enlarge that and keep bringing in heaps of it because you're multiplying your fruitfulness. Here's one of the problems in the church, and while many don't prosper, we are multiplying unfruitfulness. We can't multiply unproductive habits. We pass that unproductive stuff on to people that we're raising, and that's not good. Somebody watching, your children do what they see. I was telling the church over my dad's that I'm a praying man because my daddy was a praying man. Make no bones about that.
I learned how to pray at 6 years old.
He taught me how to pray. I've been praying ever since.
Reality is, I saw him pray, made me want to touch the God that was on the other side of his eyes being closed and his knees being bound. I saw him preaching, which woke up the preacher in me.
Are y'all hearing this?
Authority perceived is authority achieved.
I was saying on Thursday how my mama was violent. She beat me to death, man. I mean, she, she whooped me. I mean, back then everybody got them kind of weapons. I, I had to go get my own switch. What kind of psychological crap is that?
Don't get your own switch, your own weapon of demise.
I would go out and get a little bit of a sting coming over there.
She's like, nigga, if you don't get out of here and go get me a switch— well, this is a switch, it just ain't the one you want, crazy lady. You want to hit me, you want me to pick something big to beat me with.
Hallelujah. And sometimes it would be late in the night, which was going to make my whooping worse. Before I came back in the house, I'll be able to pick the switch soon as she told me, but I'm like, I ain't going back.
I'm gonna get away with it anyway. I'm supposed to be up on these street lights. Come on, we're gonna be out here way past the street lights tonight because we're gonna delay this whooping. And she was so smart, I would come in, give her the switch. She's like, oh, don't worry about it, I know what you was trying to do. I ain't gonna get you now, but I'm gonna get you. And now I can't sleep because I'm sitting there like, Lord, please don't let this crazy lady come in here and beat me with this switch. What am I saying?
I was scared of her. Authority perceived was authority achieved. And there'll be sometimes she wait till I get butt naked and get in the tub.
I'm trying to bathe, she coming in here. Here she come 3 days later with the switch. You fucked! I forgot!
Let me tell y'all something, we learn by what we perceive. Watch this.
You need to perceive that God is a God that wants to make you fruitful, that he wants to have the very best for you.
You need to perceive his authority.
So that his authority can flow through you and others can see the authority you walk in. Say, I'm a man of authority. Say, I'm a woman of authority. Say, God is with me.
13, he told us to do, he said, replenish the earth. Wait a minute, that means if it's broke, fix it. Stop complaining about it. Trying to say we need a new president, we need a new man. No, we need kingdom people who know who they are to fix the problems in the world.
That's what blessing means.
This, bro, instead of you riding past it, the Lord is such a bad community.
We were on our way here today, we went past.
I said, man, I told First Lady, I said, that'll be a perfect church.
It had no for sale sign.
Boards all over it. Used to be a Christian bookstore here, Berean. I said, man, if we could find out who that owns there, we need to buy it.
Because I thought— I said, then this neighborhood has never changed in 35 years.
You've got drugs and prostitutes and everything just walking around the neighborhood that need help. Are y'all hearing me? Instead of complaining about it We have to be in position financially to fix it. If it's empty, fill it. How can we help people with empty bellies? Hallelujah. With empty knowledge, we have to have money to build schools.
We have to have money to provide food.
It means to restore supply watch this, to his formal level or condition. Which means you bring people back to the Eden mentality where God was providing for them. Because when you really replenish something, it never runs out. My wife is domestic. Her mama taught her that. I love my mother-in-law. There's certain things ain't gonna never run out in my house because of who she is. If it was just me, there'll be some days I'm going to look for some eggs and ain't gonna be able to find one egg. But there's certain things we're gonna always have, like eggs, milk, water, bread. I ain't gonna never be on a hunt from— for stuff like that because it's gonna stay replenished.
Matter of fact, when I open the refrigerator now, we got eggs for days.
I'm like, what is going on? Is we raising a chicken farm? But I'm just saying, God says when he replenishes us and then he blesses us to bless others, we replenish them that they never run out again. So he wanted Help homeless people that they're never homeless again.
Are y'all hearing this?
Y'all get somebody's thing. He also told us subdue it. I told you, bring it under control, which means if it's out of line, put it back in line. Use every resource we have in the kingdom to serve mankind. A lot of time men have a tendency to use resources that God gives them to serve themselves. They build kingdoms to themselves. They start churches because they need some money. That's crazy. This the wrong business to be in if you starting it because you need some money. Although there are those that have done quite well because that grace on their life has helped them to do that. God has blessed me, but he's also blessed me through my other ventures and my business savvy to be able to sustain ministry. You can't look at people as stockholders and shareholders to keep your business functional or to feed your ego.
People are souls—
oh my God—
that need the resource in you so that they can become a resource to the world, not the other way around. People—
and this is for leaders that might be watching this—
your people shouldn't be paying your light bill.
Oh, y'all ain't got to talk to me here.
Your car note. You still raise a whole offering for your bills with 5 people. Them people need to help pay the bills for wherever y'all meet or whatever expense the church has, not for you. See, some people want to be big so bad.
The rapper said that Lil' Got 'Em want to be big, but Lil' Got 'Em. And somebody said, what rapper was that? I'm dating myself, I promise you. The first person that said it was KRS-One, which is real old. That's real. Look at something. Y'all don't even know what KRS-One is, do you? You know who KRS-One is? Okay, Google KRS-One. Never be another one, I promise you. Listen, we have to be where we are so we can help the world fix their issues. And we're created to prosper. Then he told us 5, and I'm moving, to have dominion over this earth, rule it, reign, take command. All right, grab that, grab that money again.
Say, in the name of Jesus, God needs me to prosper.
He needs me to be wealthy so I can empower others through my fruitfulness.
And in the name of Jesus, I will be fruitful, I will multiply, I will replenish the earth, I will subdue the earth and have dominion in the earth. Say, I'm large and in charge, and my bank account is full in Jesus' name. So money is looking for me because I gotta help others be refilled.
Come on, give God some praise for that. Hallelujah. Not only did God tell man who he was and what he was to do, he didn't leave us hanging, y'all. He told us how to do it. How we gonna do this? So the word bless again means to empower, to prosper and succeed through divine decree. So when God says it, he's empowering us to prosper and succeed.
He empowers us—
wait a minute.
With the divine ability.
I love this—
to reign over the earth. We should not be second-class citizens. We have creative ability. We, we are a perfect reflection of God. Wait a minute, God's a creator, so if I'm a perfect reflection of him I should be able to create like he creates. God looks at nothing, and that's what we've been doing while we've been talking to our bank accounts. You don't realize it, but you shape the world you live in with your words. God does things with his mouth.
He speaks it and it happens.
That's how he made us.
He said, let us make man, and we are here.
Every part of creation— and God said, and God said— matter of fact, we still in Genesis 1. Go there, go there, go there, go there, go there. Go back, back up to verse number 1.
Glory to Jesus.
In the beginning, God created heaven and earth, and earth was without form, verse 2, and void and darkness upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of the Lord was upon the face of the waters. Watch verse 3. And God said— y'all see that? Okay, he stopped. Verse 5, and God called— he's still talking. Verse 6, and God said—
hallelujah.
Verse 8, and God called. Verse 9, and God said— he talking. And God called, and God said—
whoo-wee!
Verse 14, and God said, whoo! Verse 20, and God said, okay. Verse 22, and God blessed them.
He's still talking.
Oh boy. Verse 26, and God said. Verse 28, and God blessed them.
He's still talking.
Verse 29, and God said.
Watch verse 31. And God saw. He said it until he saw it. You got to start creating every day like he creates. Say it until you see it.
He looked at nothing in every one of those instances and said it until it came forth. You gotta keep speaking to your bank account until it's full. You gotta keep saying it until you see it. I am created to accumulate, grow rich, and grow wealthy, and my bank account is full in the name of Jesus. You gotta say it until you see it. You gotta look at the sickness in your body and say, I'm healed.
Until healing shows up.
Lose your children, they won't get saved, and say they're saved until they get saved. Oh God, speak to your life and say the promises of God until you see them.
Lord have mercy. Oh boy. So I have creative ability to have authority and dominion in my life and my fear of influence. That means you're influential. Don't just think the people that these folk call on social media are influencers. Most of them folk ain't influencers. They just got a lot of people that clicked a button. Some of us follow the same people that they said are influenced, but they really haven't influenced our life in any way, one way or the other. There are some legitimate influencers, but then there's some very illegitimate influencers. You can tell me you're an influencer and just cause you got 20 million followers on Instagram and you ain't never got on clothes.
20 million men following you cause you naked, not cause you— you influencing something, all right?
Are y'all hearing this?
I said that one time. I got an inbox. I said something about that before.
I got an inbox with somebody said, you need to stop talking like you talking, you coming against the sex workers. What in the world is the sex workers?
That's a whole nother group. Come on, the sex workers got to get their money too. Like, the devil is a liar anyway.
Say I'm an influencer.
There's a dominion purpose in you that's designed to influence the world.
Glory to God. Watch this. Because God told us we have dominion, guess what he did? He gave them everything they need to do the job. Are y'all hearing this?
Touch yourself.
Say, I have everything I need to be who I am. So the Garden of Eden— I started talking, I'm ending with this. Ah, it was a perfect demonstration of God's plan for this planet. Again, it's paradise. His people should be in charge. God wants this to be a place of blessing and not curse. The problem is evil has entered into this world, and because evil has entered into this world— glory to God— It makes it hard sometimes to embrace the goodness of God for a lot of people because their mind is desperately wicked. That scripture— the Bible said the mind is desperately wicked.
That's why the scripture tells us also, let the same mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus. So you gotta shift your mindset.
Just let somebody say, tell the devil I changed my mind. Hallelujah.
See, when he comes up showing up again trying to get you to think like you used to think, you ought to just let him know, look, you got to me on the wrong day. You got the wrong person. I'm not that person anymore. I changed my mind. Oh my God, just tell yourself again, say, I changed my mind. So, so you got to make up your mind. I'm not going to think broke, I'm not going to act broke. I'm going to put up ethnic mentality. So within the blessing, these words pronounced over our life is the blueprint for the Garden of Eden, of how the earth should act. It's designed— watch this— to re— God's mindset in heaven on earth is designed so that the seen world can encounter God as he rules on his throne from the unseen world. So God is in the unseen world chilling, sitting down, because he realized I put in them the authority for people to encounter me. Oh God, can we— can I go through with this? That you and I—
I'm gonna close my Bible—
we weren't born rich. Watch this, because the Bible said we were born in sin and shaped in iniquity. We wasn't born rich, but watch this, and I'm closing with this, we born again rich.
Oh, y'all missed that. Oh God, I need you to grab that, just touch yourself.
Say, I wasn't born rich, but say, I was born again rich.
Good God Almighty.
So when you got saved, you were born into a royal family.
