How Do We Take Our Inheritance? | Day 22 of 40 Days | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr

Well, grace and peace everyone from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Welcome to our livestream tonight. Listen, I know we're several hours late. We should have been here at 12 noon. But the day has been, again, since early this morning, extremely eventful. But we're so glad to be here today. Welcome everyone to day 22 of 40 Days of Infallible Proof. And when I tell you, man, we are yet seeing proof. We are yet seeing proof that God is with us. Hallelujah. And that he's moving by his power. Glory to God. And listen, I'm super excited to teach this word. I want to get right into it because I don't want to hold you long tonight. Let's pray, and we're going to get right into tonight's teaching, and I promise you, you're going to be blessed. Do me a favor, guys, I need you to share this experience. So Father, tonight once again I submit myself to you. I give myself away and I say, God, use me. Ah God, I mortify the members of my carnality, my mind, my flesh, and I say, heaven, superimpose yourself upon me tonight. And Lord, let your glory be revealed even as we teach. God, let infallible proof be shown even as your word goes forth. And we praise you for it now. God, I thank you in advance for the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of the Holy Ghost. I know I'm not going to finish this, it's going to take at least two parts to do this, but tonight we're going to begin speaking on how How to Take Our Inheritance, and we have covered a lot of ground. Now remember when we started teaching, we share with you that there were 3 distinctive reasons why we were teaching this, because again, we don't ever want to be doing something just to be doing it, right? We want to make sure that what we share, what we preach, what we teach is absolutely from heaven. So as we begin to teach, the Lord said to share with you that we're teaching this for these 3 purposes, right? One, to renew our mind that we are heirs of God. It takes a renewed mind to understand that you are an heir of God. And this is why for 10, 11 messages counting today I have been teaching you about being a kingdom heir, trying to renew your mind that you really are an heir of God according to the word of God, right? Not that I made it up, not that it's something just good to teach. This is really true. These are facts. You are an heir of God. Now, if you want to, you know, see something silly, then you might want to scroll past that. This right here— but this is serious business. I want you to be clear that you are a kingdom heir. Secondly, we have been teaching this. So, one, to renew our mind that we are indeed kingdom heirs. Two, we've been teaching this— hear me— so that you can understand with clarity what's available to you in your inheritance. And then number 3, we are teaching this to show you how to get your inheritance. So tonight what I want to do is just start off and kind of review our last 2 weeks, okay? So over the last 2 weeks we shared and we came to the agreement, because if you're still here and you're still watching me, you agree apparently. All right, so we came to the agreement that whenever we got born again, you and I— hallelujah— when we gave our life to Jesus We agree that at that moment we were born again into the richest family ever. Hehe. Matter of fact, we were born into the royal family. We agree on that. And because we're in the royal family, we are now heirs to the kingdom of God. God's way of operating. Not going to heaven, but the kingdom of God is God's rule, God's domain, God's way of operating, God's way of functioning. Come on, church. All right, so we need to work hard to comprehend this because really it's going to take eternity, and I've said this before, to really comprehend how vast our inheritance is, but we need to understand that there is inheritance available to us while we're on earth. Hallelujah. So a few scriptures we looked at, key. I want you to write these down in your notes throughout this teaching. We've studied Galatians 4, verses 4 through 7. Where we learned that we are heirs of God. We looked at 1 Peter, hallelujah, chapter 1, verses 3 and 4. We learned that we are heirs by birth just because we were born again, right? We looked at Romans 8, verses 14 through 17. We learned that we are joint heirs with Jesus. Oh my God. And then in Galatians 4:7, we learned that we are heirs to everything that God has. Oh my God, whoo! Hallelujah! I'm just happy, y'all. And then Ephesians 1:18, we looked at it and it showed us that we have to know what's included in our inheritance, which is why we're teaching this. Joshua 18, verses 1 through 3. We looked at this and we talked about how we must take our full inheritance and not leave anything on the table. Now, all of these teachings are on my timeline. It would behoove you, if you are smart, to go back and listen to the messages in their entirety so your mind— hear me— can be renewed. Listen to the fact that you are a kingdom heir so that you will have clarity concerning what's available and you will understand how to take that inheritance. All right, last message I left off, I gave you a prophecy that God released, sharing with us that we have access to his great storehouse. And in that word, we begin to share that God had never held back on the church. And this is a word that was given back in 2010 that I just read to you, that was scribed And he wanted us to be clear that he was the God of plenty and that we had access to what he has, and that he has made what he has available to us. That's true. I need somebody to say that with me. Say, God has made what he has— say it— available to me. You are what you say. As a matter of fact, you The world you live in is shaped by the words of your mouth. So whether you're watching by YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, however you're watching tonight, listen, I want you to understand your words shape the world that you live in. Come on now, they shape the world that you live in. Hallelujah. Oh boy, I wish I had some help in this sanctified place today. Glory to God! We're glad everyone is here. We're going to just teach straight through this tonight. Y'all, please, by all means, I need you to share this. If you see me looking away, I'm actually looking at my laptop computer, just looking at the activity. Glory to God! Listen, so let's, let's get into this tonight. How do we take our inheritance? Because again, we have established that many Phew, okay, are living beneath their privilege because they have not been taught how to take their inheritance. And some know and just still won't do it. So I'm telling you now, it's high time that we take our inheritance. Right. So how do we do it? I want you to go to Hebrews 11:33, and we're going to read verses 33 and 34. Hallelujah. 11— somebody type it on the screen— 11:33. Hallelujah. And 34. I want, I want you to get all of this tonight. Right? All of it. Hebrews— let me pull it up in my Bible. Glory to God. Hebrews. Glory to God. Notice it says Hebrews and not shebrews, so that means women, you shouldn't be making coffee, men should. No, I'm just kidding. That's a joke. Hebrews 11. Probably a very corny joke, but I thought it was funny. Glory to God. So that's why I said it. Hebrews. Glory to God. He— you get it? Hebrews. Hallelujah. Hebrews 33, watch this, and 34. Who through faith, listen to this, who through faith subdued kingdoms, eee, eee, authorities, governments, mountains. We've been talking about that, subduing the kingdoms of the world, that the kingdoms of the world become the kingdoms of our God. How do we do that? Through faith. Wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouth of lions, quenched— verse 34— the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword out of weakness. Were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of aliens. What are you talking about, Michael Woods? How do I take my inheritance? Well, first thing we got to do, we gotta boldly declare it by faith. We gotta claim it By faith. The Bible said in verse 33, through faith they conquered kingdoms. Let's read that in the New Living Translation. It says, by faith these people overthrew kingdoms. So if you want to overthrow the kings that sit on the throne in your life, watch this. In Proverbs, there are 31 chapters. And watch this. For every chapter of wisdom that's released in Proverbs by Solomon, it is related— most people don't know this, but theologically it is related to a battle, listen, that Solomon had to have with kings. There were 31 kings that Solomon had to conquer. Ooh, and there are 31 proverbs that offer wisdom for conquering kings. Now, every day of the month, you need to go at those kings that sit on the throne of your heart other than Jesus. And only you know what they are, because these kings are present to keep you locked into old systems, old structures, old ways of doing things. It comes to keep you bound in religion. It comes to keep you bound in realities that are not influenced by God. And so every day, by faith, you need to be trying to overthrow these kingdoms because these kings and their kingdoms are the very things, these systems, these ways of doing things. You may not be an adulterer. You may not be a liar. But let me tell you something. If you're living in a way that is not kingdom established and you're functioning under a system that's not fueled by faith, you're being governed by kingdom that's of this world and not of heaven. Oh my God. So you got to overthrow those kingdoms by faith. Watch this. The Bible said they overthrew kingdoms and ruled with justice, and watch this, received what God promised them. So wait a minute, I gotta by faith overthrow kingdoms. This is very important because we've been talking about kingdom heirs. But you'll never really truly be an heir to the kingdom. You may be an heir to the church, but you'll never truly be an heir to kingdom until you overthrow the former governments that ruled your life, the former systems of thinking and believing that ruled your life. See, many of you listen to me now, most of the kingdoms you have to conquer is you. Oh boy, because you're— you create a system of doing things that you sold out to. And what you got to decide is that you're going to overthrow that kingdom in your mind and decide that this kingdom will no longer rule how I make money. Money, how I view my health, how I be a parent, how I be a husband, how I be a wife. You got to decide that this kingdom has no governance in my life, and that the only king that should be in charge is the King of Kings. And you gotta, by faith, overcome those kingdoms. Why? Because if you don't, you will not rule with justice, you will not take your place in the world as a kingdom heir. Because receiving the wealth of God and the resources of God and the riches of God and the glory of his throne is not for us to parade around in name-brand clothes, Bentleys, and fly jets. You know, all those things are wonderful, but listen, that doesn't matter. That's incidental compared to the loftier purpose and priority which is to take over the world, which is to have dominion, where we become distributors of glory, distributors of God's wealth, distributors of the resources of the kingdom, because we rule with justice. But you'll never do that if you think with a carnal mind, if you think about justice in terms of what you provide for yourself and how you do things. Lord, help us today. He said they ruled with justice and conjunction received what God had promised them. So by faith they overthrew kingdoms, by faith they ruled with justice, and by faith they received what God promised them. Now I've been teaching for 11 days on what God has promised you. On being a kingdom heir. The only way you're going to lay claim to it is you gotta receive it and lay claim on it boldly by faith. Faith again is pistos in Greek, and it means to be fully persuaded, totally reliant and absolutely confident in. It means to leave what you can see and trust tangibly for what you cannot see and trust it. So if I'm gonna have faith in something, my faith should totally be in God. So I need to be absolutely, totally reliant absolutely confident in God. I need to leave what I can see and trust what my physical eyes cannot see, and many times I cannot handle. Oh boy, listen, many of you that are saved and born again, it took faith to walk away from what you could see to serve a God that you cannot see. Glory to God! Many of you walked away from desires that you have in your flesh, sinful things that you want to do, to serve a God you've never seen. And if you could do that, you can walk away from systems and kingdoms that have governed your life that are not godly. Walk away. Let it go. Why do you need to let it go? Because again, you will have no aptitude to receive the optimal things that God has promised you as a kingdom heir. You gotta detach yourself from what you have believed is reality and really trust in What is the only reality? And people will call me crazy for saying this, but the only reality is God. And the more you walk with him, the more you will discover he is the only— oh God, I didn't mean to yell at you, I just got excited, I'm sorry. He is— I didn't mean to yell at you, I'm for real. He is the only reality, but that other stuff you trusting in Hallelujah! God wants to give you sweatless victory. Glory be to God. He wants you to be victorious as a kingdom heir so you can rule with justice. Oh boy, so you can receive what he promised you, and it's a lot. We've read it, we've studied it. That's why you got to go back and listen to what has been promised. Lord have mercy. Let me read this same scripture in the Message Bible, Hebrews 11:33, because this is literally— I don't even have a lot of points— this is literally how we take our inheritance. We have to take it by faith. We have to lay claim to it as ours. It belongs to us. Everything God promised in the new will and the old will, it's ours. And we got to claim that thing boldly by faith, expect it, and walk it out. Watch this. In The Message Bible, it says, through acts of faith, they took the promises for themselves. So by stepping out in acts of faith Faith without works is dead, being alone. So faith— watch this— without corresponding acts, corresponding action, is dead. It has no life. It is isolated, alone, and it won't manifest anything. So it's not enough to say I believe But now you got to do the works of faith. Start acting like you believe. Start that business, start that church, start writing the vision and make it plain. With no money, with no supporters, with 8 members, start doing what God told you to do. Acts of faith. Listen, people see some of the things we're doing. I planted 8 churches, but Rother Church in Atlanta is very small. We got a very small group of people, but because of faith, God has entrusted us— hear me— to do things, ministries that have 10 times the amount of people We have it many times, a thousand times more. There are some ministries that don't have a hundred times more than us that are not doing what we do. So at the end of the day, I'm grateful that God has proven through faith, whoo, that he's able to provide. And listen, I'm telling you, I just stepped out on another level of faith today. I had a meeting this morning with a company that's going to move us not just from what we do on television now— and this is an act of faith— but they're going to help us develop all the technology. Of course, our tech side, because God has blessed us to be tech savvy, so we're going to build out a lot of it as well. And we're going to have opportunity to have our own streaming platform. Watch this, like Netflix, like Hulu, like all of these services where not only can we broadcast preaching and teaching, but we'll be able to broadcast movies we create, television shows, talk shows, giving the creative minds opportunity to stream on our channels. Now watch this, it'll be called Rada TV. The preaching and the teaching will go forth on Rada TV. Yes, but you'll be able to download the app on Roku, on Amazon Fire Stick. You'll be able to download it on Apple TV, and you'll be able to download it straight to any device and stream anything that Rodar TV is streaming. Powerful piece, man. It's going to put us in a position where we can release content beyond the preached word through our entertainment leg of Rada Branding, throughout the cinematography leg of Rada Branding, which God has blessed us with business that comes from all over the country through that company. So now we're going to be able to have our own platform to give individuals an opportunity to stream their creative vision to the world. Because again, Apple TV doesn't limit us like regular TV. Roku Fire Stick doesn't limit us like regular TV. And right on one's television, they'll be able to download our streaming app and watch content just like they would watch it on Netflix, Hulu, Peacock. Listen, This is one for the kingdom, y'all. But we're moving in this dimension by faith. I've had several, um, creators already come to me about one, the cinematography leg, helping them create their movies. Listen, we're going to move into a space that creates a perpetual stream of income that pushes us into a right place in the entertainment kingdom in this digital space. Oh boy, this, this is major, man. Also, we'll be able to stream concerts, stream worship experiences. Oh my God, what— just things that pertain to the kingdom, live events that'll be able to be streamed over that platform, it just takes us to another level. Because here's what Facebook, YouTube, and all these platforms want to do. So like, we're streaming now to 6 different platforms, right? We're live. But at the end of the day, Facebook and most platforms have a bias and an algorithm that if you don't have certain criteria in that algorithm or if you're saying things they don't necessarily agree with, they will throttle your traffic. I know this from experience. Mike— Dr. Mike Woods' page at one time had almost 20,000 users and followers that followed that page. Oh my God, tremendously, it dropped down to under 8,000, now almost 9,000. On my personal page, of course, 5,000 followers. Is reached the max. But I've seen it where I could post one picture to get 1,000 likes and post another one to get 4. Because maybe, like, say for instance, I post a picture of myself and my wife, or myself and my grandbaby on Instagram, 2,000+ likes every time. A picture about something happening at the church, a picture, uh, with a quote uh, blessing people. Like the one I put up the other day, that quote should have went viral. Listen, let me tell you something. I put up a quote that came straight from heaven: you'll never leave where you are until you decide where you'd rather be, period. That quote should have went viral. I don't care what you say, it should have, all right? Because that's good stuff, man. And at the end of the day, I know my traffic was throttled because right the day before I posted a picture of me and Kinley, over 1,000 people liked it. So they know what they're doing and they will throttle traffic in your brand because they want you to buy paid ads on their platforms. So we're going to eliminate that and just create a whole nother platform. I've been teaching about creating your own table. Table, not trying to sit at somebody else's. That's one of the tables God is causing us to create. Roda TV, watch what happens. Keep watching, please. Yeah, keep watching. All right, let me move through faith, acts of faith. They took the promises for themselves. All right, let's go to Hebrews 6 and 12. Wait a minute. So because we, we're talking about how to take the inheritance, how to take what's ours, and we have determined that we boldly claim it by faith. I'm just giving it to you the way the Lord has given it to me. Hebrews 6 and 12, watch this. Be— whoo! Followers of them, hehe, who through faith and patience inherit the promises. Wait a minute. He says you need to follow the example of them who through faith and patience, both fruit of the spirit, Spirit. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit, and faith is a fruit of the Spirit. So if you truly have the Holy Spirit, no matter how many tongues you speak in, you ought to have some faith. And I'm not against tongues. I want somebody to get that twisted because I will speak in tongues in a minute. That's my lifeline. So I believe totally in tongues. I speak in them all the time. Most time I'm speaking in tongues all day when I'm not talking to humans. I'm always uttering something out of my spirit. Listen to me, listen. If you have the Holy Spirit, the root creates the fruit. The Holy Spirit is the root. So out of the root, just like, uh, oh yeah, just like the root of corn creates corn corn on the cob, right? But you cannot have corn on the cob without the root. So watch this, the root is the Holy Spirit. So the two of the fruit of the Spirit, out of two to nine, is faith and patience. So if I really got the Holy Ghost, I'm gonna be totally reliant, absolutely confident, and dependent upon God. Leaning on him for all things. I believe what I can see for what I cannot see by faith. If I got the Holy Ghost, then I'm gonna be patient with the process of walking through whatever God requires to get what I desire in inheritance. Watch this. From covenant to circulation. Oh, that's where God wants us. We got to get that mindset. He wants to take us from covenant to circulation. So he wants to take the covenant promise that he's made to us out of the realm of covenant into actual circulation in our life. I'm getting ready to release my book, and the book is literally moving from concept to circulation, right? So it's going to be in circulation, which means it'll be being exchanged in the marketplace, bought and sold by wholesalers and individuals alike. And it's taken me so long to release this piece because, in my opinion, A book is a business that should be a blessing to the kingdom and to the author, because it takes a lot to birth on that level. And when God blesses you to birth on that level of writing a book for real— I'm not talking about using ghostwriters, but I'm talking about actually birthing revelation out of you that you put in the pages of a book for the world to enjoy. Now, when it comes out, you birth that, it gets into circulation, and now your baby is circulating around the world. So for me, it's a business. And so what we've been doing over this time is working with distributors, wholesale distributors, who will come into agreement with us, like Walmart, like Choice Books, like Central South, all book distributors, okay, that will buy certain amounts of copies the moment it's released. So that the moment it's released, within a month we have a New York Times bestseller because of all the copies we sold wholesale. Huh. And then we want to make sure that we've lined up the media in a way that we're talking about the book everywhere, which we are doing. So when people hear the conversations about The Chronicles of a Cheater and they hear about this piece— this book has to be first because there are about 10 other books in my laptop right now that I could release, but I can't release them before I— because they're easy. They're about the apostolic, they're about faith, they're about the kingdom. Those books are easy. God, no. This Chronicles of a Cheater was hard because I had to expose myself, be transparent, and tell my testimony about my adultery, about my fall in the past. And it had to be written with wisdom and strategy so that it not only reached the church, but it could help other people in marriage to have an affair-proof marriage. And so it's going to be a real blessing once it hits circulation. So I said that to say God wants you to follow people who, through faith and patience, are receiving their inheritance. So you shouldn't just follow people that say they're doing it. Follow people that are doing it, because these are the people that are going to help cultivate you, right? You know, we have a tendency to make people popular uh, who really are not examples of faith. They, you know, and they're not enhancing us. They may entertain us, but they're really not enhancing the trajectory of our life and the acceleration of God's covenant toward us. Listen, I am nothing against— matter of fact, I love this guy. I mean, he's, he's enjoyable. He has millions of people that follow him on social media. I'm nothing against the guy, the preacher that rides around on roller skates. Cool dude, man, very cool. But as for edification, you know, okay, we made— we— great, he's popular, he's doing his thing. But we need again examples of inheriting the promises. Oh boy, okay, whatever. What? I, I just felt my son Apostle Cornelius. Whatever. All right, so be followers so you can have an example, so you can have hope that if God did it for them, he'll do it for you, because God has no respect of person. Ah, okay, so let's go to Romans 4:17. Let me read that because y'all, I feel, I feel your spirit. Glory to God. Romans 4:17. Praise God. Share this, guys, live or by replay. 4:17. Glory to God. Hallelujah. The Bible says this, as it is written, listen, I am made thee a father of many nations. Before— oh my God— before him whom he believed, even God, who quickened the dead and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Wait a minute, he says to Abraham, he said, I want you to remember, I made Abraham the father of many nations, but I didn't do it— wait a minute— before he believed. That believed is not pistos, which is faith, believe is pistuo, which is past tense, which just means that you have actually acted out faith. You've actually shown that you're totally reliant, totally dependent on God. Your total trust and confidence is in God. And because Abraham displayed that at the highest level by being willing to sacrifice his son Oh, his only son Isaac. My God today, my God today. Oh boy, I pray y'all with me. Glory to God. God says, I'm gonna make you a father, which means a pathos in Greek, to the ethnos, to human existence that comes behind you. You shall be an example of how to call things in. So as the Bible says, he calls those things which are not as though they were. So maybe you don't have the inheritance that's promised to you now, but the Bible says you got to call those things that are not— oh, I didn't mean to yell at you, I'm sorry— as though they were. Right? Call those things that are not as though they were. Ooh. Oh God. Say it until you see it. God is just giving us an example of how he does things. Say this with me. Say, I am a creator. Because the Holy Spirit lives in me. Yeah, because the Creator is in you, you are a creator too. My God, today So say it until you see it. If you go to Genesis chapter 1, I'm not gonna go there, but if you just go there, you can just read down and you'll be— you'll see, and God said, and God said, and God said, and God said, and God said, and then finally, and God saw. Whoo! He said it until he saw it. I'm telling you tonight, you got to learn to speak those things that are not as though they were by faith. Call it in. Whoo! Wait a minute, wait a minute, Michael. What are you talking about, bruh? I'm glad you asked. Faith calls in the inheritance. You ain't got it yet, but call it in. You should never say, I don't have no money. You just say, I ain't got no money yet. Never say, I don't have a million dollars. I don't have a million yet. My confession is, I don't have a billion dollars. I, I just don't have a I don't have a billion yet, but it's on the way. Never confess, I don't have a husband. I just say, I don't have a husband yet, but he's on the way. Never confess, oh my God, I'm not making 6 figures a month, but declare it, it's on the way. Never confess, I'm not healed, but just confess, I'm healed and my healing is on the way. Faith calls in infallible proof. Faith calls in The inheritance. Ah, ah, you should never say I don't have what I need. Just, I don't have what I need yet. It's on the way. Because if I say it, if I call it in by faith, I can see it because it's in the will that is mine. Lord have mercy. So the Greek word in the text— watch this— for called is kaleo, and it means to summons, to order, to edict, or to command it to come, which means you're not asking nicely. Come on. You're not, oh my God, begging for it because it's already yours. Listen, if I gave you— got them keys in my pocket— the keys to my car, right? Keys to my car. And you— I just told you to hold them, and then I was ready for them back and I asked for them. I'm not going to debate with you about getting my keys back because they belong to They are mine, just like these keys are mine. If you got some keys, those keys are yours. Your car is yours. You're not— your house is yours. Your apartment is yours. You're not gonna debate about what's yours. The inheritance, in the same way, is yours. So you're not commanding God you're speaking to the covenant. You're speaking to the heavens. You're commanding the angels that minister on your behalf to enforce the covenant of the word and bring to pass what's rightfully yours. I gotta quit, y'all. Listen, I gotta get out of here. Woo! But this word declares to the inheritance, you are summoned to appear. Hallelujah! So if you are— oh my God— if you are given jury duty and you have a date to be in court and you get a summons, an edict, yes, a command in writing, yes Lord, a call. You must be there. You are ordered to appear unless there is death, sickness, or something major that prevents your appearance. The court has ordered you to appear. This is the same connotation. I dare you tonight to speak to your inheritance and say you are ordered to appear. Woo! Shabaya! Woo! Shabaya! Speak to that million and say, you're ordered to appear. Speak to that goal and say, you're ordered to appear. Speak to wealth and say, you're ordered to appear. Speak to your healing and say, you're ordered, you're ordered, you're ordered, you're ordered to appear! Oh, I didn't mean to yell at you. Oh my God. But you gotta take command. By faith and call your inheritance from covenant to circulation. You're ordered to appear. Hallelujah. Salvation in my family, you're ordered to appear. Deliverance in my family, you're ordered to appear. Growth in my church, you're ordered to appear. Revenue in my business, you are ordered to appear.
