Join us for our new teaching series, Taking Action Against Strife, as we seek to bring peace and understanding to our world and to our lives. Together, we can make a difference. Well, praise the Lord, everybody! Welcome to our 12 noon teaching of 21 Days of Action. Uh, guys, do me a favor really quickly. We're going to get started here because, uh, there's a lot of content I want to cover this afternoon, and I got an hour to do it, and I want to make sure that we, uh, really maximize our time in the this time together today. I want to maximize our time together for sure. So do me a favor, guys, quickly share, share, share. Welcome to everyone that is here. Glory to the name of God. Uh, hey, Dr. Tam. Hey, Mother Martin. Hey, Kiara. God bless you. Good afternoon, everybody. Hi, Bruce. Hey, wife, good to see you always and forever. Glory to God. You guys share this. Oh God, let's, let's become a champion for this teaching today. Uh, the only way others can engage it is if you share it. Um, I know for a fact every person that's connected to Rada should share it. You know, some people get blessed by it and they never share, but it's okay. But I do expect those of us that's connected, um, in covenant for sure, we want you to make sure that you share this. Glory to God. You know, a lot of people listen and watch me I'm learning incognito. And I'm telling you too, some people watching your page and they're incognito. Glory to God, you're blessing people that will never admit— hear me— they'll never admit that you're a blessing to their life, but they're watching you. So, and that's fine, glory to the name of God. But it's just a blessing to be a blessing. And I don't believe— and this is just my personal opinion, uh, I got— I can back that up in a lot of ways. We could talk about that another day. But my personal opinion is that a blessing is not a blessing until you give it away. Glory to God. So when you receive a blessing from God, it is always had— oh my God, it always has an exit sign on it because you want to give it away to somebody else and make sure they could prosper. Every time you give it to somebody else, it creates another increase for your life because you reap what you sow. So guys, please, uh, do me the favor. I shouldn't have to beg Uh, but I, I should— when we get off of here, we should see 10, 20 shares at least of this message. You need to share it to your timeline, share it to your story, uh, tag people below. Glory to the name of God. Share it, share it, share it. Amen. Listen, the only way, uh, this word is going to get out again— and if you listen to incognito Bless your heart. Amen. But at the end of the day, if you want someone else to receive what you receive, then by all means you need to make sure, uh, that you share this. Glory to God. I want to entrust you— glory to the name of God— uh, with, with this word. Amen. To give it to— glory to the name of God— the people that are connected to you so that they could be just as blessed as you are by it. Glory to God. So thank you, thank you, thank you. Listen guys, this is day 8. Of our 21 Days of Action. Uh, we're super excited about what God is doing already, uh, in these fasting days. It's been absolutely wonderful. Uh, I can't wait again to see the end result. It's going to be absolutely phenomenal. In particular, guys, you know, invite somebody on these teachings that's not born again, because at the end of the day, we want to see lives change. I believe in God that as we share the word, the Bible said he sent his word and it healed them. I'm believing as we teach, people will be healed, they'll be delivered, they'll be set free. I'm believing that the foolishness of preaching— hear me— will draw people into the kingdom of God. So guys, yes, yes, share it. Sharing is godly. So please do it for us today. Hallelujah. Again, if you're joining us live or by replay, you're, you're, you're joining day 8 of 21 Days of Action. If you just happen to be scrolling and popped in here, don't leave. Glory to God, you're in the right place. Whether you're watching us on Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, or Facebook, over 3 different pages, wherever you are, we trust that you will stay with us and receive the blessing of the Lord that comes through his word. You know, I'm a champion for gifts. I love the gifts of the Spirit. I love the manifestations of God's anointing. Uh, through me. I am watching him use others. But here's the reality, man. The Bible says that prophesying shall cease. Gifts of the Spirit, they're going to cease. Glory to God. But the very thing that's eternal is the word of the living God. And you know, this is the thing we shape our life by. This is the thing we live by. We have to live by this word and trust the integrity of the word. And so it behooves us that we hear teaching, man. 21 straight days of teaching every day, uh, I'm pretty much teaching a short message every day at 5:00. Glory to God. So you're getting a whole bunch of food for your soul. Glory to God. That's going to strengthen you and make you stronger. Watch this, somebody, because I hear somebody, oh man, I don't need to get the word but just on Sunday. No, you need the word more than Sunday. You eat natural food every day, don't you, to nourish your body, to make sure that your body is healthy? You eat every day. Even then, we're fasting, we come off the fast at 3, and you eat. Glory to God. You— so at the end of the day, because— and some of us will— I, I'm, I'm me included, when it comes down to eating food, I'm not missing a meal unless I'm fasting, because I, I love, I love to eat. Glory to God. And I know I need food to live. But equally, equally, guys, I know I need to eat the word every day. And many of you— watch this— you're low in faith. Glory to God. Hear me, you're low in faith because you don't hear the word. Faith— watch this— come by hearing and hearing and hearing and hearing and hearing the word of God. And so every time you sit in front of your tablet, your phone, your computer, your television, and listen to me teach, you're hearing the word that's building up your faith. And the more— watch this— because God designed you to move from faith to faith. The more faith you have, the more pleasure you bring to God, because without faith it's impossible to please him. So guys, please Do me the favor, loves. Share, share, share. Glory to God. We love you guys. Y'all are so wonderful, such good people. Glory to God. Welcome everybody, welcome everybody. Glory to God. You know somebody you've been praying for, you want to see them born again, tag them below. You know they're out of the faith. Glory to God. Uh, let's believe God that they'll jump on this live today. Glory to God. Hallelujah! And that they'll hear the word, and that at the end when we call for the prayer of salvation, they will give their life to the Lord. Or even if they come in by replay, something will happen as we teach that will prompt them to listen to the entire message, and they will be saved. Glory to God! So again, we're, we're seeking God during this fast, 21 Days of Action. We're serving God and we're sharing God. We're fasting for fire so that when we share God, that the people experience the fire of God. Glory to God. Then when we serve him, the fire is coming through our life. When we seek him, we're infused with fire. So listen, as you share, we're believing God for salvation today. Inbox somebody, tag them below. Glory to God. If they're not born again, glory to God, and you, you know, you want to see them, and you know their business is not straight with God You want to see them get the word. Every one of you know somebody's not saved. Glory to God. Listen, I, I know, I know some people not saved. I know you know some not saved. We all know some people that are not experiencing what we experience in God. So let's get this to them so they can. Glory to God. Uh, I, I love every one of you. Thank you guys for being here today. Hallelujah. So let's get into this. Let's pray. And we're going to jump right in this today. Father, we give you praise, we give you glory, we give you honor. Beside you there is no other. It's in you we live and move and have our being. You're— oh, you're so good. You're such a good Father. You're such an amazing Father. Beside you there is no other. God, we love you, we adore you, we praise you. Glory to the name of God. We thank you for the fire of God. We're fasting for fire. That there's evident residue of the fire on our life, the heat and the light. Glory to the name of God that exudes from the fire, also releases smoke, God, that precedes us, God, that when we show up in spaces, glory to God, that your fire and your glory will be there. Father, let the word go out with simplicity today. And Father, I decree and declare that there will be an understanding that will be established, God, if that we will receive, we will grow, we'll be better because of this teaching today. In Jesus' name, amen. And thanks be to God, man, I am excited to teach the word. Welcome to every one of you that's just joining us. Glory to God, thank you for, uh, being here today. Glory to God, thank you, thank you for sharing, those of you that are sharing We appreciate that. Glory to God. Let's jump into this again. This, this message, all of these messages we've been teaching is a part of our Glory to the Name of God series on, huh, taking action against strife and conflict. And we've come to understand that strife, conflict hinders the blessing of God. And what we want to see is a manifestation of the blessing of the Father in our life for real. Not just saying, oh, I'm blessed and highly favored of the Lord, and never really seeing that. We want to really see the high favor of God and the blessing of God flow out of our life for real, so that daily and perpetually we're walking in the blessing, and that there's a light that shines through our life because of this blessing that others receive, that others are a part of. Glory to God. Oh my God, today. Okay, so, so let's, let's jump into this today. Uh, yesterday we started talking about— I laid a backdrop, glory to God, hallelujah— talking about contentment, because I, I felt it necessary for you to understand what it meant to be satisfied, to have godliness with contentment. We discovered that according to 1 Timothy 6:6 that godliness with contentment brings great gain. And because we have previously talked about discontentment, which is born out of strife, of course, glory to God. But we, we learned yesterday on what it means to really just be satisfied with God. And then we, we got into this whole thing of pride and I think I'm right but I may be wrong. So we're gonna dive into the meat of that today. Glory to God. Uh, we started talking about humility and how humility is important and how, uh, humility will even help you adapt and adjust to other people. It will help you understand that you just really can't be right all the time. And so I want to jump right back in here because when you lack humility— hear me, guys— if you find yourself in strife you find yourself bickering, you find yourself going back and forth with people all the time. Glory to God. What you're going to discover, guys, is that you're going to find yourself the root cause— hear me— of a lot of arguments and disagreements that come in your life because you operate in this pride and you operate in a place where you really are striving often to appease your watch this, some, some emotional, uh, dysfunction in you really that needs conflict. All right, and, uh, let me just tell you this off the top, man. Ever since I've been teaching this series, you know, and I teach stuff that I become one with, I really can't— this is me as a teacher, not, you know, dissing anybody else, but me as a teacher of the word It's hard for me to teach a message that I have not become, you know, one with. I mean, I have to become one with it. And, uh, glory to God. So I've been tested, uh, in every way, you know, with my peace and with conflict since I've been teaching this, because, you know, God is growing me through you know, this message, he's growing me through, glory to another dimension of walking in peace with myself and peace with God. The reality is, you know, when you, when you have a dysfunctional history and you've been rejected, you've gone through seasons of, of hurt and pain and abuse, and you've had those things in your life— and I have, glory to the name of God— uh, what tends to happen is you have these protective triggers that you're okay if nobody doesn't push that. And I'm discovering that sometimes I think I'm okay, and you could just dig a little deeper and push a button that hadn't been dealt with. So I'm thanking God for this message, you know. I mean, just this last night, you know, I'm, I'm minding my business. My wife and I was going into the arena, uh, a guy had his son on a bicycle and, um, he was coming toward me and Mariah. So when Felicia's with me, you know, everything is really different because not only am I protecting me, but I have to protect her. So I'm always, you know, she was doing something else. She had her phone out taking a picture, uh, of something she wanted to send to Tyler. So I'm— but I'm always watching because, you know, I'm a protector. That's what I'm supposed to do as a man. That's part of my role. So, so this guy's coming at us with this bike So I look at him and I step back out of his way, but I look at him, you know, kind of strange because he's about to hit us. And, um, you know, he automatically had some triggers in him because maybe he felt like I shouldn't have even just looked at him and he was okay. He never said excuse me, and he just looked at me and said, you okay? You okay? You okay? And everything in me, you know, yeah, because I wanted to say, I'm just trying to protect my wife, man. But You already knew this dude had issues, and it was no need to have any dialogue with this guy because he probably was packing a gun, anything. So at the end of the day, you know, you have to be very astute about avoiding arguments, and it takes humility that— again, I, you know, I believed I was right, you know. I mean, I didn't do anything wrong. He was about to hit us. You know, at the end of the day, but every situation is not designed for a back and forth. That's what I'm saying. It takes humility, you know, to digress. Yeah, to digress and say, you know what, I'm not even going to go there with you. I'm not going to get it on. You don't even have to say that out of your mouth, but into yourself, I'm not getting ready to get on their level. I'm not going to bring myself down to engage what they're doing right now. Are y'all hearing this? So you got to humble yourself so that you can avoid arguments, you can avoid conflict. I mean, I'm trying to test it, man, in every single way that you can imagine. All right, uh, let's go to 2 Timothy. Let's get into this today. Glory to God. 2 Timothy. Uh, don't want to bore you with my stuff. Glory to God. Let's get into the word. Glory God. 2 Timothy, ah boy, 2:23. I pray you're good today. Glory to God. This is the day the Lord has made. And if you're just joining us, guys, please share. Welcome to day number 8 of 21 Days of Action. If you're just joining us, there are people that will pop in and out. Glory to God. Hallelujah. But if you just join us, stay right here. God has something for you. Glory to God. Uh, 2 Timothy 2:23. I'm going to read 23 and 24. The Bible says this but the foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strife. All right, so there's no need in you getting in a debate with someone who is proposing foolish and unlearned questions to you, because again, you got to protect your peace. Glory to God. You know, when people ask you questions about things they literally know nothing about, and really they're doing it to really provoke you or cause an argument, that's what makes them foolish. Because they come with a bad motive asking you a question that they already really know the answer to, but they're trying to provoke you to wrath. So the Bible says here, avoid them because these questions gender strife. Verse 24, and the servant of the Lord must not strive. Oh my God, the word strive there is makomai, M-A-C-H-O-M-A-I. That's how it would be spelled and pronounced in the Greek, makomai, makomai. And this word literally means, oh my God, it means to be armed. To fight. It means to engage in hand-to-hand combat. So if I'm a servant of the Lord, hear me, hear me good, I should not be engaging in hand-to-hand combat with a fool, with someone who is just bringing drama, stress, even whether it's words or physical fighting. That, that is— should be named among us. If indeed I'm a servant of the Lord, I shouldn't be striving. I shouldn't be having hand-to-hand combat, having heat— loud heated debates going back and forth. We walk in peace and we display peace. Watch this: but we are gentle to all men, apt to teach, patient. Glory to God. So the servant of the Lord must not fight, must not battle, bicker. Makomai— must not go back and forth. That, that is not how we roll. Glory to God. And Father, help us, help us, God, because these are ignorant people in this world. For real, it's real ignorant people. Listen, I'm sorry, it's ignorant folk in this world, and they'll come at you sideways. They will provoke you to wrath if you allow them. But you have to protect yourself and decide, I am not going to strive. Matter of fact, there are people you work with— there's, my God, there's people, glory to God, there's some people go to church with. God, thank God we don't have that problem. There are people, glory to the name of God, that will provoke you to wrath. But you got to choose not to fight. You got to choose to be gentle and use it as an opportunity to teach. Glory to God. And you know what, even that guy last night, when I was walking away and me and Felicia was going to the arena, it was in my mind, the Holy Spirit was saying, well, what— how could you have used that moment to teach him? How could you have used that moment to be a light to him? And I'm saying to myself, you know, I don't know how I could have done that because this dude is crazy. This dude you know, just has issues. I don't know how I could have used that because I don't know how you would have received it. And the Lord says you just would have had to be gentle because a soft answer turns away wrath. Oh boy, oh boy, are y'all here today? Uh, just type in the comments, guys, if you're here, if you're live. Glory to God. Just type, I must not fight. Glory to God. I must not fight. Just, just You're a child of God and you must not fight. You must not fight. Stop the— stop fighting. I know you want to. I know they're coming at you. No fighting. No fighting. No fighting. No fighting. No fighting. No fighting. You got to make up in your mind and listen. I'm telling you, this stuff is helping me. Glory to God. Because you're looking at somebody on your phone, your screen, your camera, this guy right here. This dude grew up fighting. Glory to God. It didn't take much. It didn't take much. Glory to God. And at the end of the day, that was because a lot of crap I was going through. But the reality is, oh, I was a scared little boy and I had to fight. But I really didn't understand that I could have been peaceful. I could have been at peace with God and at peace with myself. And made different choices. And, and, and I thank God today that I'm learning I don't have to retaliate against every issue that comes against me. Oh my God, oh my God, I pray y'all learning something from me throwing myself under the bus. Glory to God, hallelujah. Oh boy, you don't need controversy over foolish questions, unimportant things. You know, glory to God. I mean, you, you can get in controversy, husband and wife in the car, and you, you can get in controversy because you going one direction and the wife is telling you, glory to God, you're going the wrong way, there's a shorter distance to get here. And you can get bent out of shape and strive over something as little as the way you get somewhere. Oh my God, you, you gotta manage your emotions in a way that you don't let this stuff upset you. Oh my God, oh my God, I'm talking about the little foxes, guys. They small spoil the vine, you know. I've seen men you know, get upset at their wives because the wife may fix the plate and the food is not warm enough. And instead of them just saying, can, can you heat this up some more? Or how about getting up off their gluteus maximus and going heat it up some more themselves? They get highly upset, outrageous, because the food is not hot enough. Come on, man, unimportant. You're striving about the wrong thing. I mean, it just doesn't make sense. Glory to God. I mean, I've seen people watching a movie together and getting debates over— I'm gonna talk about strong, heated debates over an actor in the movie and something else they played in, or an actor in a movie that, glory to the name of God, they one like and another one don't like, and they, they're going back and forth as to why they're back. It's craziness. The Bible says you don't need to be involved with that. Protect your peace. Little foxes fall in vine. You may think, okay, ain't no big deal. Yeah, practice peace and peace will be your portion. Oh God, have mercy. You know, you know why? Go to 1 Corinthians 13:5. Go to— yeah, because— okay, yeah, 1 Corinthians 13:5. Because when you love Hallelujah. Particularly you married people and you singles that long to be married, you're gonna learn— watch this— that love, watch, uh, gives up the right to be right. Oh boy, when you love, it ain't about being right all the time. Sometimes you just gotta surrender. And, you know, bow out gracefully and accept that, okay, this, you know, it's not going to change. I'm just gonna not keep trying to convince this other part of me, glory to God, that they're wrong and I'm right. Glory to God. Because love gives up the right to be right. Uh, okay, verse 5, verse 5. Okay, love does not behave itself unseemly. Seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil. Sound like giving up the right to be right to me. Because when, when you love someone, you don't behave unseemly toward them because you can't be right in the situation. You know, that, that's not good. You know, you don't get quiet, you don't shut down, you don't Oh my God, try to control people. That's witchcraft with your emotions, manipulate them. Yeah, you plan on getting married, glory to God, you gotta learn to love at all times. Hallelujah. Watch this. Love is not selfish. It doesn't seek its own. It doesn't seek, glory to the name of God, to appease itself. Love is always in tune to the other person. It shows up to give to the other person. Single people, married people, single people that's going to get married, married people that's married. Again, when you show up in marriage, you show up for the other person. It's about what you come to give to them. Oh my God, in relationship, if you didn't come to give, you came to take. Listen, you come to take care of the other person without regard to yourself. And that's why you got to marry somebody where that can be reciprocated, where the other person has a clear understanding of that. If you marry somebody that's all about them, oh my God, and how they feel, and about them being right, oh boy, you in for misery. You're gonna have a lot of miserable days, and really you might ought to stay single. If you can't give up you and love in spite of, marriage is not the place for you. Watch this. God loves us in spite of us. That's what love does. It says— it was just— it's not easily provoked. So when you love somebody, you know, and I, I personally had to work on this when I got married because reality is I was easily provoked by anything because I was angry, right? And I needed deliverance from— yeah, I wanted to, you know, even if it was a light debate, I wanted to go back and forth with you, you know, because that's just what was in me. And I needed freedom from that spirit, that demon of anger. Glory to God. Oh, Shia, but when you love what your spouse does or what the person you in love with does doesn't provoke you to anger easily. Yeah, if you— I've seen people get mad at folks for looking at them. I've had couples sitting in my office saying, oh, they look at me wrong, I get mad. They just look at me, I only want to be around them. That's— something's wrong with that because there's no love there for real. But when you love, you're not easily provoked. Oh my God, today, how you love them and you yelling at the top of your voice at them over some— over burnt toast? Come on, man. Oh God, I love you. I love— everybody know women slow, so ain't no being provoked because women get dressed slow. Come on, husbands! Oh, glory to God! Women, ah, glory to God, we already, we already know they're gonna— they dress slow. So I don't mean being easily provoked, being angry. Glory to God, there's just some things that come with being married. You got to wait for your wife to get dressed. Now my wife will argue, hallelujah, that I take longer to get dressed than her, but we, we, me and her both know, glory to God, the truth to that. I'm always ready before her. Matter of fact, I could start getting dressed after her and still beat her and be ready to go to the car, and she's still getting dressed, put on shoes, put on makeup, because y'all got so much other stuff to do than we do. Glory to God. So ain't no need husband being provoked. Glory to God. Yeah, right, Dr. Tam. I know you got to get beautiful. Glory to the name of God. But y'all slow. Glory to God. We, we'd be ready to go, we'd be late for everything. Glory to God. My God, today, listen, I'm just saying, because there was a time in my life I would just be provoked. I'd be like, oh my God, wish— I wish they would hurry up. I'd be ready to blow a fuse. But I've learned— I mean, glory to God. And this— I was really bad in my former marriage. Glory to God. But I've gotten much, much, much, much better. Glory to God. Hallelujah. You know, listen, you can't be easily provoked. Even, even with your, your male factor, if he's not doing what you want him to do, don't be either provoked, women. Don't be ready to move your neck, pop your fingers, and, and go off. You know how Black women particularly do. You know, y'all got all this going on and all this. Listen, Ain't no need doing all that. Then when you love, you just gotta know, you know. And I mean, getting easily provoked— your man don't put that toilet seat down. Come on, come on, come on, come on. I mean, I know, I know it's, it's tough when you go in there and forget that he left it up. You sit down and your butt touching water. Hallelujah! Oh my God. And you want to get provoked. Listen, don't get easily provoke. Oh my God, because that seat got left up. Glory to God. Listen, let me help you with that. Let me help you think about that seat being left up a little better. Listen, if you go in the bathroom and the seat down, here's another way to look at it. He might then put it up. And then you may be sitting in something else. So, you know, I'm, I'm pretty clean guy, so I'm gonna lift it up and put it down. But at the end of the day, some men just forget, you know, that you want him to lift it up, but he forgets to put it down. Don't be easily provoked by that, all right? Please don't, please don't. That's right, Pastor, Pastor Luke, before you sit Listen, I'm just trying to get equal time to the men and the women. Women slow, we forget the toilet seat. Glory to God. It's just something that happens. But at the end of the day, don't— the key here is don't be easily provoked and don't allow the enemy— glory to the name of God. Hallelujah. Don't allow the enemy to get you all outrageous because you sitting in water. Listen, just, just, just say, oh, I just love him. Glory to God. It's in the name of Jesus. Oh, I love him. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Oh, I love it, I love it. Thank you, Jesus. Glory to God. Watch this. And think of no evil. Let me keep moving. Glory to God. So here's the real thing, guys, about thinking you right and you could be wrong. Here it is. I'm almost done. Ah, Lord have mercy. I love it. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. We bless the Lord. Thank you, Lord. I see you coming, y'all. Hallelujah. Y'all, y'all are wonderful. Glory to God. Uh, here's the point: when you think you're right but you could be wrong There's something really that's innate in every human, and it's this: that in every human— hear me, hear me out— we're all right in our own eyes. All of our ways are always right in our own eyes anyway. We're wired that way. And it takes— we're wired that way, and we have to humble ourselves before the mighty hand of God, understand he's the one that's right all the time. And when we gauge ourselves to him and not other humans, it'll cause us to be humble and realize I'm not right all the time because he's the only one that's really right all the time. Glory to God. Go to Proverbs 16. I'm not gonna even go there. Go to Proverbs 16. Glory to God. And verse 2. Glory to Jesus. Proverbs 16 and 2. Proverbs 16 and 2. Glory to God. So I can prove what I just said. Praise Jesus. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. Wonderful Jesus. Proverbs 16:2. The Bible says, all of a man's ways are clean in his own eyes. But watch this, but the Lord weigheth the spirit. So you see things one way, but God sees things another way. He knows who you are. And when you live like this you could again humble yourself knowing that, okay, I don't know everything, I could be wrong here, I could be making a mistake. And we run the thing through God. Hear me, we run it through God, good God Almighty, and we allow God to get the glory out of our life and our decisions. All right. When you don't do that and run what you think is right through the Lord, and you could be wrong— because if there's a question mark there, here's my thing. If there's a question mark that says you could be wrong, hear me, why are you arguing about it? I mean, you are— you know that there's a possibility that you wrong. But why are you standing there still trying to prove you might be right? You might be right. Now I get it if you got some facts and you got some evidence and you stating your case. Glory to God, it ain't based on no assumption, it ain't based on what you feel. I get it, I get you wanting to make your point and try to maybe prove that you're right. But listen, but you standing there trying to make a case and you know good and well that you might be wrong. Oh God, I mean, you stand up trying to make a case, you know, you could, you know, you possibly did do what they're saying. You, you know, you possibly are coming short somewhere. My God, you ain't even Googled it to try to check to see if you're right. Glory to God. Listen, you just think— come on, man, come on. That's pride at work, and you're thinking more highly of yourself than you should. Okay, let's go there. Romans 12, verse 3, so y'all won't say Apostle making that up. Romans 12, verse 3. This is a command Watch this. The Apostle Paul says, for through the grace given unto me, hallelujah, to every man that is among you, glory to God, to not think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith. In other words, Clearly, he said, I want— he said, I want you to think soberly, which means when you start operating in this drunken pride, glory to God, and you start believing your own hype, okay, yeah, and you think more of yourself than you should, you miss the opportunity. Watch this, for the measure of the metron of God upon your life to be honestly placed. Because the Bible says God deals with us according to our measure of faith. Well, our faith is not clear, and where we are is not clear when we think above where we are. And then there's no room to grow because you're putting yourself in a position you have not arrived to yet. So, so stop getting drunk on you, on your ideas, on being right. Stop. Oh boy, oh boy. I'm, I'm just, I'm just teaching from experience, man. I, I could think back in my history, there was days I was so drunk on what I thought was right. I used to tell my ex-wife, you can't tell me nothing. I thought you ain't been nowhere but church, home, and school. I done been everywhere. Glory to God. You've been church, home, school, in that order. Glory to God. How you gonna tell me about this when really I could have learned a lot? Hallelujah. Which probably is why I ended up alone, because arrogance leads to aloneness. Nobody's going to stay with someone that knows everything and knows something about everything. Oh y'all, okay, y'all quiet. Oh yeah, okay, okay, okay. Am I touching your toes? Am I stepping on your toes? I'm sorry. No, I'm not sorry. I meant to do it. Glory to God. I love you. Yeah, I love you, I love you, I love you. But I meant to step on your toes. Stop getting drunk on you. You're not always right. I wasn't always right. I'm not always right now. Glory to God. He's the only one that's always right. Stop thinking more highly. Be where you are. Let me say that again. Always be where you are. Always be where you are. You know why? Because if you're where you are, you could clearly make a road to where you need to be and where you're going. You can, you can map the distance between where you are and where you're going. I got an awesome revelation of this one day. I walked in the mall, I was looking for a particular store, I didn't know where it was, I wasn't even familiar with this mall. The first thing I did was find the directory. When I looked at the directory, there was a big arrow pointing down on the directory that said, 'You are here.' When I saw where I was on the directory, I was able to map my position between where I was and where I was going. Glory to God! And I was able to get to that store easily because I followed the directions from where I was. But when you don't know where you are you cannot get to the destination God has planned for you. And people who think more highly of themselves than they should, they are not clear. They are moving in deception. They're moving blind. Glory to God. And they never get to the destination that God has planned for them. But can I submit to you, my family? Glory to the name of God. Always be where you are. So you can get clear directions. Listen, the way your GPS works in your car, on your phone, it establishes first not where you're going. It, it's called a Global Positioning Satellite. The first thing the GPS does is globally establish your position on the globe. Where are you? And then it determines where you're going and gives you direction on how to get to where you're going. Always be where you are. Are y'all hearing this? Always be where you are. Oshai, mantoto bo koshandi di ansata babaya, branche te bebe koshia. Because I'm telling you, you can stand to learn a few things. Listen, matter of fact, let's go to 1 Timothy because y'all still don't believe me. Let's go to 1 Timothy. 1 Timothy 3 and verse number 6. Glory to God. 1 Timothy 3:6. Praise the name of Jesus. Glory to God. Thank you, Lord. I love you, I love you, I love you. You know, here's the reality, guys. Let me say this right here and then we'll read this. There are people that will come into your life, right? And they will mask themselves as committed to you and to what God has called you to do, or to, to a relationship. However, they'll, they'll show up like they're in, right? Many a times, and I'm just— I want to prepare you for something, right? People will disappoint you because you will believe you're right about them. You will believe that, oh man, I believe they're committed, I believe they're going to be solid, I believe they're going to ride this thing out to the long haul and won't follow after themselves and their own ambitions or inhibitions concerning me and my connection to them. But many a times they will walk away and you will be provoked. Watch this. To anger. Watch this. To even think that this is thinking more highly of yourself, that you— oh my God— don't deserve what they did to you because they left. But we can't control what people do. We can't stop people from walking away. We can't stop people from telling lies. We can't stop people from believing the seed in their mind about us. But what we can do is hold our peace and keep being who God has called us to be and not think that we're entitled to everybody that shows up staying because that's just the way of life. People come and people go. And I used to get really bent out of shape when people would walk away from something I'm called to do. Now I'm learn— I've learned over the years, man, when people go, just let them go. Because the Bible says if they had been for us, no doubt they would not have left us. But by virtue of the fact that they left us, glory to God, it is an indicator that they were not ever for us in the first place. That's Bible, baby. And at the end of the day, you got to learn how to just let them walk, let them go, let them go about their merry way. Because if you do anything else, you're opening a portal for arrogance and pride because you think you deserve to control where people are and you deserve for people to just not treat you bad when people are going to be people. It's going to happen, especially if you are in leadership. Hear me, hear me. Oba Shikan to the boshi. Yeah, that's right, Dr. Tammy. You gotta hold your peace. Let them go. Let them go. I don't know who I'm helping. I, I had to take this rabbit trail before we read this verse because sometimes we can, we can be too arrogant. It's lofty of you to think, glory to God, it is prideful, it's arrogant of you to think, glory to God, that you will not be mistreated by other humans. Yeah, it's gonna happen. And the test will be, how will you handle that? Will you think more highly of yourself? Will you strive and fight? Will you start investigating, trying to figure out why they left? Man, bye. Ain't nobody got time for that. Listen, this true, true story. This is something that recently happened to me. Uh, last year, okay, so last year, uh, we had a revival with Apostle Cornelius called Day One, and, uh, we started at the beginning of the year, and Apostle came in, he preached, did his thing, um, and the Lord brought some great people to our church. The Martins and several others came. And I had in that group that came, you know, there were several that connected to our ministry. Did I expect everybody to? No. And I was grateful because, you know, we were starting new in the location we was in. We were excited about launching something new. Day one, we was talking about birthing out this Atlanta venture as We should glory, be excited about it. And I had one individual who was in that group, all right, that joined the church before anybody else. Very first person to join, very first person to come to me and say they joined. Um, within a month maybe or two, I never saw them again. Well, I never questioned why they left. I honestly don't know. Watch this, I honestly don't care to know, uh, because at the end of the day, people are going to do what people do. Yeah, I thought that they would be a fixture. I thought that they would be a very important part, but I'm— maybe I thought wrong, and maybe they thought wrong, and maybe they just didn't understand the commitment they was making. I don't know why they there, but What I do know is the word says when people leave, you cannot control them. You cannot take that person, cannot wear your feelings on your shoulder. Glory to God. So, and I'm just saying, in life, I'm giving you the example. I didn't go chasing this person. I didn't go make an inquiry of this person as to, you know, why you not coming back, what happened. You know, I know pastors that get bent out of shape when people walk way. And man, they can't hardly function because they think they own people, man. We don't own anybody. These are God's people, and we are assigned to shepherd them. You know, could, could, could, you know, that person handle leaving a little better? You know, could they have said, okay, well, you know, I don't think this is for me, you know, I'm gonna move on, you know, I, I know I made a commitment and that I will do this and I will be there, but, you know, I just feel like I need to do something else. Okay, glory to God. And, and guess what? We accept that and we move on. But even when they don't do that, I need you to understand, guys, when people walk away, don't think that they owe you something. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. Okay, uh, yeah, yeah, yeah, Zion, I'm gonna read it. 1 Timothy 3:6. I'm just saying, Holy Spirit took me down that path because Some of you handle the disappointment of departure wrong, and it steals your joy. It throws you into depression. It throws you into these fits or these tantrums that's really not necessary. Keep moving, keep going. Glory to God. Know your value. Know what you bring. And don't let the decision of a person establish your value because it wasn't for them, or you wasn't for them. Okay, okay. Oh my God, oh my God. Yes, Lord. Oh boy. Uh, okay, I'm gonna read it, I'm gonna read it, I'm gonna read it. Zion, I saw you put it on the screen. Pastor Jasper, Kierra, I saw y'all put it up. I'm gonna read it. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 3:6, not a novice. Oh my God, let's just start right there. Oh God, not a novice, not a neophyte. This word, that's what literally what it means, neophytos in Greek, that you're not a neophyte. Glory to God, newly planted, that you're wet behind the ears, got Similac behind your ears. He said don't be a novice. Lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the temptation and condemnation of the devil. So neophytes, immature people, are lifted up in pride, think more highly of themselves than they ought to. Are y'all hearing me? They believe things about themselves that ain't real. Glory to God, because they're neophytes. Oh my God, hallelujah. And they, they either go one way or the other. They get hurt easily because they wear their feelings on their shoulder, or they lift themselves up in pride. Listen, everything someone says is not being said to hurt you or to diss you or to down you. You know, investigate it. You know, get an understanding. The Bible said, in all your getting, get an understanding. Don't think that just because somebody opened their mouth— glory to God. Yeah, Pastor Jasper, I dated myself on that one. These folk under 30 don't even know what Similac behind the ear— they ain't never heard that. That's something, that's something I used to say when I was coming up. Glory to God. Listen, can I tell you something? You know, just because it comes out of their mouth and you may not agree with it, sometimes you, you find strife because you start discerning that the words are offensive toward you, and you take everything negatively when really it's not. That's pride too. That's— you're being lifted up in pride because you are devaluing yourself. And watch this, becoming subjective to a comment to make yourself feel bad. Because oftentimes when you still have misery inside of you, it's always looking for opportunity to be miserable. So somebody could say something that was perfectly okay and wasn't designed to hurt you, but you took it wrong because you're sensitive and you're not mature. You're a neophyte, you're a novice. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. And you're not ready really to handle people properly. God have mercy, because watch this. Even if it is something that was meant to offend you on purpose, you should not lift up in pride and retaliate against it. And you definitely shouldn't do it if it was an innocent comment, innocent statement. And that's why some of y'all, y'all get hurt over text messages. Stop all that texting and pick up the phone and call and say, look, I'm just trying to get an understanding of what's going on and what, what you're saying. Because a lot of times you can read something into a text— come on— that is not the heart of the person being said. Because the text has no way, no way, no way at all— I don't care how many emojis you use— it has no way at all of revealing the tone and the mood behind what is being said. Okay, all right, all right, all right. Get that by side. Yeah, yeah, yeah, baby. I know people say we old, but no, pick up the phone and call so you can get an under— in all you're getting before you jump the gun and get bent out of shape because you thought you were being attacked. Are you hearing this? Oh boy. Okay, okay, okay. Otamamamansetababakaya. Remansu tokoshyai. We give you glory. We give you glory. My hour is up in 60 seconds. I got to keep moving. See, another word for novice is stupefied. It's really another word for neophytos— stupefied— which means you just choosing to be a victim because that spirit of a victim is yet alive and resident in your life. And God says no, don't. That's pride that you just said, okay? That's really a form of pride that you always the victim, that somebody's always doing something to you. No ma'am, no sir, you don't get to do that. What you do get to do is grow up. Glory to God. What you do get to do, glory to the name of God, is decide before I respond to this. I've been teaching y'all this for a while now. I'm gonna go to the space between stimulus and response. So I'm not going to take this offensive, I'm not going to take this wrong. What I'm going to do, glory to God, is weigh this out. And I'm going to weigh this in the Holy Spirit so that I react to what's being said to me properly. Lord, I just lost about 5 of y'all right there, but it's okay, it's okay. I know I'm stepping on some of y'all toes, live or by replay. I meant to do it because what we need to do, we need to be able to have godly communication and be able to be mature enough to get an understanding before we jump the gun on something that's being communicated. Glory to God. All right, all right, all right, all right. Because the Bible says when you do this, you fall into condemnation of the devil. Uh, go to Proverbs 3:7. Uh, and it just simply tells us to be not wise in our own eyes. Oh God, oh God, we prayed about this this morning. Glory to God. We don't want to be wise in our own eyes. We want the wisdom of God. We want— he says, be not wise in thine own eyes, fear the Lord, and depart from evil. Glory to God. Be not wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord, and depart from evil. Glory to God. Reverence God, depart from evil, trust God. Thank you, Jesus. We give you glory, Father. Aman sotoko. Rebasike kangete asu urande. We give you glory. We give you glory. Listen, it's prideful to be wise in your own eyes. Only person ever is right is you. And the Bible clearly saying this is evil. Depart from that. That's an evil act that you always right and everybody else is wrong. Oh boy, because pride, guys, it causes— listen to this— judgment. When you walk in pride, that's when you start judging people. You know, I, I, I, I can't— you know, I can't get this out of my mind. Listen, you can see a, a man who has this huge belly, just obese, big bloated, greasy, fat joker. And all he doing is getting on his wife— watch this— about how much weight she's gained, how heavy she is, and telling her she need to go to the gym, stop eating this, stop eating that. Well, what you need to stop eating? Come on, man. Come on, come on. I mean, you, you, you this overweight, diabetic, high blood pressure, high cholesterol eating everything. It's like, ain't a gym— is not your friend in no way. But you're beating this woman up, come on, about getting in the gym, taking care of herself, because you're proud. You're so prideful to think you're okay, you start judging someone else. Oh my God. Oh God. Oh my God. Oh my God. Okay, okay, I just made a religious demon mad. I'm sorry. This is the live where truth is told, okay? The truth is going to be told on this live stream here. The reality is you don't get to move in this judgmental spirit and hurt other people because of your own indiscretions. Take care of you, man. Go to Matthew 7:1. Glory to God. 7:1. I'm almost done. I know I'm going a little over time, but I'm almost done. 7:1. I'm gonna read through 5. Judge not that ye be not judged. So if you don't want to be judged, stop judging others. Well, let's just deal with what judging is. So you'll know, krino in Greek, K-R-I-N-O, krino. And the word literally means, watch this, to pick someone out and punish them with your words. Oh boy, watch this, to make you feel better. So let's put it all together. Krino, to pick someone out, hallelujah, to punish them with your words so you feel better. That's what judgment is. Judgment always makes the judge feel better. And most of the time, the people that judge the hardest are those who have been judged the most in their past. Oh my God. So the victim becomes the victimizer. Oh, thank you, Holy Spirit. So because you have been victimized, you matriculate into this victimizer. And the only way you have comfort, the only way you feel good about you, is that you victimize— oh my God— somebody else. Let's make sure you're not being a judge. Let's keep reading. Glory to God. He said, for with what judgment you judge you will also be judged. And what measure you meet, it will also be measured to you again. Oh my God. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye— come on— but consider the beam that— oh my God— you don't consider the beam which is in your eye? Or how will you say to your brother, let me pull the— oh my God— mote out of your eye, and there's a beam in your own eye? The Bible says, and this is Jesus talking, thou hypocrite, first cast the beam out of your own eye, and then you can see clearly how to cast the mote out of your brother's eye. Oh my God. In other words, get yourself together before you you start trying to get everybody else together. Oh boy, and it's so amazing. That's right, Pastor Jasper. People most of the time judge people in the area where they are struggling. It's the same area because they're not comfortable with how it works in their life, so they want somebody else to feel uncomfortable about— you know, it's like the man that's heavy judging his wife about being heavy. Or you got someone that's all they do is fornicate. Jordan, somebody else about fornicating. Come on, man, listen, let me tell you something. Get the beam out of your own eye. Deal with you. Sweep around your own front door. Come on, Williams Brothers, before you try to sweep around mine. Glory to God. I'm gonna say it again: sweep around your own front door before you try to sweep around mine. It's the word. Y'all didn't know when the Wooden Brothers was singing that song, they were singing the word? They sure was. Glory to God. Glory to God. I know all those guys. I knew Frank, I knew Melvin, I know all those guys. No, Doug, I know all those guys. Listen, let me tell you something. The reality is, clean up your own house, kick the devil out, and don't doubt about the way. Work out your own soul salvation with fear and trembling. Oh Lord, have mercy. Oh, I sense the silence on this live today. Glory to God. It's okay, it's okay. Listen, And I'm gonna close with this. Before God can use us— and I'm putting my iPad down, guys, I didn't finish. I'll finish up that teaching tomorrow. Before God can use us, we must be humbled. I want you to write that point down. Before God can use us I mean, really use us in the fire of God, and we serve God in power and authority. Somebody said, just in case you thought I was off theme— no, all of this is in theme. We're serving God better through this fast, and, and, and we have to be humbled so we can serve. Humbling is going to come in one of two ways. You get to choose either God himself will humble you, or you can make the choice to humble yourself. What you don't want is for God to humble you. Glory to God! When you think you're right and you may be wrong, what you don't want is for God, the mighty hand of God, to humble you himself. It's not pretty. I've had a season in my life where I've been through that, okay? You don't want that. That's— that is not on no level what you want. So humble. Listen to Michael Woods, please. Just humble yourself. How do I do it? There cannot be humility— watch this— Uh-oh, without humiliation. What do you mean humiliation? Are you telling me I got to humiliate myself? Humiliation doesn't have to be public. Matter of fact, it is preferred that humiliation is private. So you privately humiliate yourself and expose yourself and all the things about you that need to be humbled. You You pray about them, you expose them, you own them, and then you choose to— like the scripture say, humble yourself under the mighty hand of God. You give them to God, get under his hand, and let him remove those things from your life. Because if you don't privately humiliate yourself, most of the time there will be a level of public humiliation that will humble you. That will make you more sensitive. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. Let's pray, let's pray. God wants to use us, man, but he needs humility. You can't always be right. Let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, we thank you for this word. I pray today that this word will land on the good ground of every heart. And that this people will reap it in due season if they faint not. I pray, dear God, that the spirit of pride and arrogance, the boots of pride that create mobility into evil works, will be destroyed in our life even now. I bind up ultra-sensitive spirits. Glory to God! That always feels that someone is against us. And I release a spirit of communication, a spirit of— glory to the name of God— oneness, a spirit of unity, a spirit of contention. Glory to God. That, um, that will be content with God but will have contention with evil, that we will war in the spirit against evil and there'll be no contention in our life, period. Against others, against God, against ourselves. Woo! We give you glory, God. We thank you, we thank you, we thank you for humility, God. Give us the boldness to humble ourselves under your mighty hand, that we can see your glory and see your blessing. And we give you praise and glory for that now, in the mighty name of Jesus. May this word superimpose itself upon our being, upon our life, And may we experience it for real, in Jesus' name. Amen. And thanks be to God. Glory to God. God bless you. I went about 13 minutes over time today. Glory to God. And we— listen, I pray that you would expose everything that will cause you to be lifted up in pride. Amen. That you will make up in your mind, glory to God, that, hey, this is not worth this. And take these words, man, and, and live by them and walk them out. Glory to God. Thank you for listening. Thank you for being here. Listen, if you're here and you're not born again, you know what that means? That means your business with God is not straight. That means that if you die today, you will not go to heaven. That means that you will go to hell, and hell is a real place. God doesn't send people to hell. Matter of fact, God loves you so much that the Bible says in John 3:16 that he so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever would believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. See, hell has been prepared for the devil and all those that choose to serve him and follow him. It is not God putting you there. It's a decision you make to reject his truth. And glory to the name of God, and reject his way of living. God, God loves the world. Glory to God. Don't get it twisted. He loves the world. That's why he gave Jesus, because he wants to be reconciled to the world. Today, here's your opportunity to be reconciled to God. Don't scroll, don't leave. If you're here live or by replay and you're going past this. Maybe you didn't even hear the message, but you're hearing this part because you're scrolling. And I'm saying to you, God wants you to get your business straight today by giving your life to him. You may say, Michael, how do I do that? I'm glad you asked. Glory to God. The Bible says in Romans, it says if you confess with your mouth, believe in your heart— it's just as simple— that Jesus died and he rose again, the Bible declares that you shall be saved. It's that simple. Glory to the name of God. And if you know your business is not straight, I want you to pray this prayer with me right now. Say this, say, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner. I need to be saved. Say, Father, I thank you for the opportunity to be saved by giving your Son. Say, Father, I believe that Jesus died and rose again. I open my heart and invite you in. Live in me. Save me. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen. Listen, if you prayed that prayer, glory to God, you today are born again. Glory to God. Welcome to your new life. Glory to the name of God. I want to help you walk this life out. Glory to God. And if you have— Ashiante de basseko, robo so tobia. If you've said that prayer with me, I want you to write there in the comments Glory to God. There's a website, rhodochurch.com/contact. I want you to click on that link. Glory to the name of God. And I want you to write me and say, hey Apostle, I prayed with you today, I'm saved, tell me what's next. I want to make sure you get baptized. I want to make sure you get filled with the Holy Ghost. I want to give you the steps to do that because this is why we do this. We want to see people come into the kingdom and we're excited to welcome you into the kingdom of God. Listen, perhaps you're not fasting with us. Again, rhodachurch.com/contact— I'm sorry, /fast24. Hit the red button so you can fast with us. This is day 8, and we give God glory for what we've received and what we have experienced today. God is so good. I love you all. Heaven smile upon you is our prayer. Remember Uh, we're in the second week. We have implemented a chicken, uh, back into the diet at 3. So if you want to eat chicken, for those of you that may have missed that on Sunday or missed it on yesterday when I said it, uh, it is okay. So stop sweating about the Super Bowl. You'll get to eat you some chicken, uh, watching the Super Bowl. Glory to God. So we're grateful to God for this fast and what he's doing. Y'all be blessed. Heaven smile upon you is my prayer. I'll see you guys in the morning at 5 AM. Listen, tell somebody, share this. This word was great today. Glory to God. I don't know if you really, uh, got it and ate it, but I'm telling you, it was good. I love you guys. Y'all be blessed. Peace. Thank you, Lord.
