Its In The KNOWING | APOSTLE MIKE WOODS | 6 JULY 2025

Apostle Michael Lyris Woods teaches the difference between surface knowledge and true relational knowledge of God, using the Greek terms oida and ginosko. He emphasizes that believers are known by their fruit, outlines the twelve blessings of the Holy Spirit in Romans 8, and calls the congregation to agape love that transforms daily life.

Well, grace and peace everyone, be multiplied to you from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is Apostle Mike Woods. It is always a pleasure to preach the word of God. For 36 years, 3 decades, I have been graced to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ as a full-time itinerant minister. I wouldn't trade my journey for nothing. I've had some ups, I've had some highs, I've had some lows, I've had some failures, had some successes. Today I got to share again with a special group of people at Rodda Church, the church where I pastor. I am so grateful to Pastor this very special group of people. I preached a message today entitled It's in the Knowing. It's in the knowing. What do you know and who do you know? The reality is many of us believe we actually know God, but do you really know him? Have you really built a strong relationship with God? This message today will transform your very life, so don't scroll. Let's go into this teaching. It's going to be extremely transformative and life-changing. I love you guys. Y'all be blessed. It's in the knowing.
I'm going to pull our thought out of verse 28, uh, this morning. I'm gonna read it again because it's just all right to read the Bible. Amen.
He says, and we know— underline we know.
Again, if you don't write in yours, write in the person next to you.
We know, say we know, that all things work together for good. Underline it, for good.
Yeah.
To them that love God, there's a catch, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
So far the scriptures say, amen. Uh, just for a few moments, few moments, I'm going to attempt to share with you what the Holy Ghost shared with me. Just look at somebody and say, it's in the knowing.
Get you somebody on the other side and look them eyeball to eyeball emphatically and say, it's in the knowing. Now ask, ask them, what do you know?
It's in the knowing. It's not in good churching. It's not in popularity and likes and clicks. It's not in how big your network is. It's in your knowing. We're gonna come back to this, but before we get in this, I want to get a working definition first of knowing, because I think a lot of times we don't really— we say we know something or we know somebody And we really don't realize that we just met them. Are y'all hearing this?
I've had people tell me they know people that they just met. You can't meet somebody one time and know them.
Y'all hearing this?
You can meet Barack Obama, but that doesn't mean you know him. Just met him. All right, you can meet someone famous and post pictures with them. Oh, y'all hear me? But don't mean you know him.
Watch it. You can meet Jesus, don't mean you know him.
You come to church, get saved, give your life to God. Meet him at the altar. Don't mean you know him.
There are two words fundamentally transliterated in the Greek for the word know in the New Testament. One is the word orda. Say orda.
Say it again. Say orda. It's actually spelled O-I-D-A in Greek, and it means absolute absolute or exact knowledge. Let me define what that is. If you, if you look at absolute knowledge in a mathematical sense—
y'all stay with me, I'm gonna get where I need to be today, glory to God—
if you look at math, 1 1 is 2. That's orda knowledge. 1 1 gonna always be 2. It's absolute, right? No matter what you do, you could take calculus, but you still can't change the fact that 1 1 2. Matter of fact, if you ever take calculus, you're gonna need to understand why 1 1 2, because it's the fundamental and foundational building point of all mathematical equations, the very basic arithmetic. Watch this. Absolute or exact knowledge can't be changed. There are 26 alphabets. You can go and try to add something after Z if you want to, add something before A. You can't do it. It's absolute. Say absolute. And this is really what God wants us— he wants us to know him absolutely. Well, no matter what happens, we won't be moved because we know him. No matter what the circumstance and what the situation is, we won't be challenged because we know who he is. Oh, I wish I had some folk just to shout, I know him! Glory to the name of God. Now there's another word that's fundamentally used in the Greek. It's called ginosko. Ginosko is knowledge that is gained through a process by relationship and experience. So you cannot get to order without gnosis. You can't really have absolute knowledge. Watch this. I'm married to my wife. This year will be 6 years we're married, and thanks be to God. I still don't know her fully.
Are y'all hearing this?
I still have to go through a process by relationship and experience to continue to know her. I know her, but I am going through gnosis every day. And it's the same thing in your relationships with people, your friendships. You don't fully— and listen, listen, think about it. You thought you knew a person until you start spending time with them. You thought you knew a person until they moved in with you. Are y'all hearing this? I've talked to people who, who were living by themselves. They said, okay, well, I'm gonna take on a roommate. Somebody that was their friend for years took them in as a roommate. I said, Lord, I didn't know they were that nasty. I can't tell by the way they dressed that they was this nasty. But, but you don't know people unless there's a process that connects you to knowing.
Are y'all here?
So in the very spiritual sense, the process of the gnosko There are some things you just need to know as a believer. If you're gonna know God and it's in your knowing, there's some stuff— before we go back to Romans— that you just need to know. Touch your belly and say, there's some stuff I need to know. I didn't say it suggested you know it, you need to know it. The first thing you need No, I want you to go to Matthew, um, 12 and 33. Glory to God. The first thing you need— I'm gonna read it. He said, either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree corrupt or his fruit corrupt. For the tree is known By his fruit. So here's the thing you need to know, is that people are not known by what they say, they're known by their fruit. Are y'all hearing this? The scripture here says make the tree good and the fruit will be good. If the tree is bad, then the fruit is going to be bad. You have to judge people by the revelation of the fruit they bring to you.
Are y'all here?
You can't just go to listening to somebody just because they talking, think that they are who they say they are. And you got to learn how to discern fruit in the spirit. I, I have become in my over 40 years of being saved, a great fruit inspector. Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. And how you do that, you got to slip past people's casing and you got to get in their heart. You got to slip past what it looks like on the outside and get in their heart for a thing. And once you get in their heart, you can kind of discern what kind of fruit they're going to produce. Because there's a seedbed in their heart that fuels everything that comes out of their life. I was playing golf on the 4th of July with a group of guys. I play with them all the time and I know them, so it don't surprise me that cuss words fly out of their mouth every now and then when they do something. Because if you ain't saved, the golf ball will make you cuss. I'm saved, that's why it don't make me cuss. Because you think it's supposed to do one thing, it does something else. So I'm out here with 3 deacons in the Baptist church, but I already know their fruit, so I'm not offended. And they'd be like, oh, oh, Rev, oh, Apostle, we're sorry, we couldn't— no, no, that's who you are. So you judge— you don't judge them. I tell them, I'm praying for you. I'm not offended. So you'll get less offended if you know what people have in their 'Cause you know what to expect them to do. Are y'all here? So you won't be surprised. So you got to know people by fruit and not material good. The quality of a thing is not determined by— watch this— the name on a thing. It's determined by the material the thing is made of. Quality is determined by material, not Oh my God, names and labels. While there are some great labels that have great fabric— are y'all hearing me? The reality is you can get the same fabric without the label for less money.
Are y'all here?
Okay, all right, I'm gonna keep moving.
So I gotta know them by their fruit. So there's some things you got to know. I mean, even Jesus, he He said it earlier in Matthew 7:20. He said the tree is known by their fruit. By their fruit you'll know them. Second thing, I want to read it. Matthew 13:11, he said, he answered unto them and said unto them, because it is given unto you, say unto me, to know the mysteries, oh my God, of the kingdom of heaven, but to them It is not given. So here's another thing you need to know. You need to know the mysteries of the kingdom. Say, mysteries of the kingdom. As a believer, you're not called to just live off good church. You're called to operate as a kingdom citizen. You're called to live as a child of the King. Say that, I'm a child of the King. The word mystery here is a mysterion. Amasturion means the treasures or hidden value. So there are some things that are hidden from people who are not connected to God. There are some things that only kingdom citizens can see. There are some things that only us who are kingdom citizens can experience. There are some things that sinners will never experience. Because it's not given to them to experience it. They can't experience it until they have an encounter with the King. So we should not allow our salvation to be this mundane Sunday morning, Thursday night salvation when we don't pursue more than what we do in here. There's a deeper place in the kingdom, and there are mysteries and patterns that God wants to show you that you can only know if you spend time with him in a disciplined space. And I say that very emphatically because there's so many things to break your focus. Okay, life will come at you, you'll get busy doing everything else. You won't pray, you won't fast, you won't read your Bible. And some people only open their Bible, especially some of y'all watching, because you won't even come to the church, but you'll jump online. Yeah, I'm gonna talk about y'all every time I get on here because COVID is over. I mean, just, it's over. Glory to God. That, that, that thing gripped people and they just stay at home. I'm telling you something, we got members that are members of this church, they watch every Sunday and stay home. And I'm talking directly to you. Are y'all hearing this? The reality is we need together. Okay, that's another message for another day. But you'll never tap into mystery if you ain't focused, because life will throw things at you and watch this, you'll start trying to fix it yourself. You get this Olivia Pope syndrome and you want to fix it. She's a fixer. Have y'all ever seen Scandal? And it's scandalous to the kingdom citizen to try to fix something that's a job for God. The mysteries of the kingdom is that there's already a solution for every problem that you face. Oh boy, I dare you to touch your belly and say, there's already a solution for every problem I face. So I don't care what you're going through or what you're facing right now, there's already a solution. God has already made a way of escape. He's already turned this thing around. You just don't know the plan. You don't know the mystery. You don't know the hidden secret. There's a kingdom secret to turn your whole situation around. Ah, glory to God. And you gotta tap into it and say, I gotta know this. And you'll never know it again. Remember, GNOSE code, that's that word here, process, relationship, experience. If you don't build relationship and encounter him. You got to create encounters in your house. Are y'all hearing this? You got to learn how to make your house a sanctuary. No matter how much hell goes on around you, you got to find a space of peace in your house where you can spend time and tap into mysteries.
Okay, okay.
Yeah, cuz see, all this blanket praying and and we're just praying and nothing happened, it's because we really ain't tapping into the secret.
Are y'all here?
I didn't say this, Jesus said it. You gotta know the mystery. It's given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom. It wasn't just for this time. We don't figure church out. Y'all ain't got the time. I'm talking about the kingdom. We don't figure that church— we know how to speak it. We can practice tongues and speak in them. Y'all ain't talking to me here. We know how to sound, we know how to look, and we, we got it all. But we have become pediatrics. When it comes to the kingdom. Pediatrics means that you, you know, that's baby. We babies when it comes to kingdom because the church is afraid to talk about the kingdom. We know how to have good church, man. We just— we can sing the right songs, we know how to go into worship, but we got to get out here and be authoritative, operating the basilia, which is the authority of the king. The rule of the king. Do you realize when you got saved, the king and his kingdom moved in you? And now this king is trying to push you to follow his way of living. Y'all mad because Trump signed the beautiful bill. Everybody I talk to— I'm playing golf, them digging— what you think about that beautiful bill? I said, I don't think nothing about it. Jesus my Lord, Jesus my King. I only— listen, I don't even care what's in it. All I care about is what's in the kingdom constitution. I'm not going to sit here and lose no sleep over that. I'm gonna pray for the folk that it will affect, and I'm gonna pray for the king because the Bible said the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord. And if you pray for Trump, God might turn his heart if you pray and stop complaining. Okay, we don't want to hear that because you don't like him that much, you can't even pray for him. Okay, that's a, that's a key right there. That's a mystery right there. You gotta learn to pray for— that's a kingdom key right there. Pray for folk that you don't like. Pray for your enemies. Pray for them that despitefully use you. Even the president who's in authority, the Bible said pray for them that have rule over you.
You have to pray for him.
Maybe he'll stop doing crazy stuff if the church come back to prayer. Y'all hearing this? All that complaining ain't gonna stop. He gonna, he gonna pass some more bills. Y'all ain't got to talk.
He ain't through.
Glory to God. But you think you— but you ain't got to be around here in fear because the mystery of the kingdom says the king is in control. One of the mysteries of the kingdom says that there's a whole nother constitution that I abide by, which is the word of God. So I live under the auspices of what God's word says, not Trump.
Okay, hallelujah.
Trump, I'm praying for you, sir. Glory to the name of God. I want him to be be saved. I want him to be delivered. I want God to touch his mind. I want him to be filled with the Holy Ghost so from that seat he can rule with Holy Ghost kingdom authority. Oh, we gotta pray for that. Everybody, I'm telling you, people trembling as soon as he signed it. Oh Lord, we gonna— they're gonna take our Medicaid. Well, if you're in the kingdom You got a whole healthcare system that says with his stripes you are healed. Now, so let him take the Medicaid and just pray to God, your King, that he'll heal your body. Oh God, it's in the knowing. See, folk that don't know panicking, worrying about the bill— I don't care nothing about that crap.
I'm a child of the King.
Okay, another message for another day. We got to get back to Romans. Just trying to give you some things you need to know. Glory to God.
Hallelujah.
All right, all right, all right, all right, all right.
Go to— praise God—
1 John 5:14.
It's some things you need to know.
Say, I need to know the mystery of the kingdom. Rub your belly, say, I need to know them by their fruit. Watch this, he says, and this is the confidence we have, 1 John 5:14, in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears.
Jesus.
You need to know this. What is he saying you need to know? You didn't know he hears you when you pray. You need to know he heard you. Matter of fact, just say that. Say, the last time I prayed, I know he heard me.
Hallelujah.
And say, the next time I pray, I know he gonna hear me. He said, this is the confidence.
Watch this, the prohesia in Greek, which is the boldness and frankness of speech. We can come to him and talk to him about anything, and we're confident that he hears us.
The confidence is in who?
Is in Jesus. Hallelujah! That if we ask anything according to his will—
so you got to ask according to his will.
His will is his word. A lot of times your confidence is shaken because when you pray, you're not disciplined enough to pray the word. Old will, new will.
Well, maybe you're not all the way convinced that the word is his will.
The word will there is theoma in Greek, and it literally means the written law of God. Old will, new will.
Old Testament, go to the law office, last will and testament.
Are y'all here?
The Bible is God testifying what he will do. Now, in relationship with him, he'll tell you some other stuff. That's his will. He'll give you clarity about your purpose, his plan for your life. But you gotta at least basically know what he'll do for you in his word. What did his book say? So when you pray, instead of needing to feel good about how you pray Because a lot of times praying his word, they gonna stroke your religious desire to feel good about praying because you won't feel like you tapped in, you, you know, you got loud, you tuned up and all this stuff. Listen, that ain't praying. You want to see results when you pray. You, your confidence is when you pray the word. So let me give you an example. So if your body is sick Instead of going to God, oh God, I'm sick. Jesus, please touch me. God, I'm gonna die. Lord, listen, emotions don't move God. He's waiting on his word because he said if you ask anything according to my will, I'll do it. So instead of praying like that, you should say, oh Lord, thank you that you are my healer. And I thank you in advance that you hear me when I pray. And God, your word declares, your will declares, with your stripes I am healed. Your word declares, hallelujah, if I ask anything in your name, it shall be done. So Father, I come to you asking you according to your word, because you sent your word and it healed me, to heal my body. Now God stands up and now he employs your angels to work on your behalf to bring that word to pass. But if you—
all you're doing is hollering, oh God, they told me I got diabetes, I don't want to take insulin.
Y'all hear me?
Listen, that's not the way to move God. Have an attitude with you pray because you feel like God didn't answer your last prayer. He didn't answer the last prayer because you weren't praying what you know. You were praying amiss. Yes, you gotta ask according to his word. Word according, symphoneo in Greek, which means in alignment, in symphony with what he says. You start asking outside of what's for you, he ain't gonna never get that to you. Y'all hear? I don't care how much somebody—
let's say there's a man that comes to the church and say, oh, Prophet is so anointed, she's so powerful.
God said she my wife.
That ain't God will, that's bro wife. That's bro Smith wife.
And that person could pray all day, all night for her, but God would never grant that because she's already in covenant with him. That's not according to his will.
Glory to God.
You, you can go to my house, march around it 7 times, shout on the 7th one, it's still gonna be my house. Because God's not gonna honor that.
Oh, y'all hear this?
He's not going to that. That's my house. You go march around the house that he told you yours. All I'm saying is you got to stay in his will. Oh, y'all hear? You can't be praying for something that don't belong to you.
Yes, it is.
It's, it's like Prophet said, it's asking a miss.
And like Pastor said, it's, it's breaking the covenant of God that he's promised to another person.
I, I got to get back to Romans, but say, I gotta know he heard me. How you know it? You gotta know because you prayed the word. I can do a whole teaching on this. You got to pray the word, man. Not feeling like— I mean, I'm telling you, because most people buy into, I want to feel like I prayed. There are a lot of times I'm making decrees and confessions in the word every day. I don't feel like doing it, but I do it because I want to see that thing come alive. I do it because I want God to hear, because God wants you to stay in alignment with his plan.
Are y'all here? Glory to God. All right, let's keep moving. Last thing you need to know, go to 2 Corinthians 5:1, then we're gonna go back to Romans.
Rub your belly and say, I need to know them by their fruit.
Say, I need to know that he heard me.
See, I need to know. Come on, say it. Say, I need to know the mysteries of the kingdom. Here's one more thing. 2 Corinthians 5:1, he says, for we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Are y'all here? You got to know that death ain't final. You got to know that beyond the grave there is, praise the name of God, eternity. And either you're going to go to heaven or you're going to hell. And then this hour is important to know, glory to the name of God, that your earthly tabernacle, number one, at some point is going to dissolve. Ain't no ifs, ands, and buts about it unless you get caught up in the rapture. I'm praying that the Lord catch me up, but if by perhaps he don't, I'm gonna dissolve as well. Well, the Bible says when that happens, this tabernacle— we got another building that God has made. It's a house that wasn't made by hands. We're gonna dwell in him and we're going to live with him in eternity. Now, it's impossible to believe that you can die and go to heaven, which now there's a lot of people who have manipulated the text with their own intelligence, and they have led it to believe that there is a heaven. And now they've said there's no hell, but the devil is a liar. There is a hell, and if you keep living in sin, you're going. I just need to serve notice on somebody, glory to the name of God, that don't want to embrace the fact everybody's not already saved. There's this inclusionist doctrine that says everybody's already saved, that the love of God has already saved the whole world. No ma'am, no sir, the Bible says if a man confess with his mouth and believe in his heart that Jesus died and rose again on the third day, he shall be saved. You gotta open your mouth and confess that Jesus is Lord. You cannot just assume that you can walk around here and do what you want to do and not, and not pay the price. The Bible says the wages of sin is death. Like, okay, I, I can't— can I preach this in here? The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life. You gotta know that you cannot inherit eternal life living in sin. Oh my God, you can't be a whoremonger sleeping with everybody. Oh God, I almost got sick at the stomach. I was getting a haircut yesterday and my barber, he was cutting my hair and, you know, it kind of reminded me why I stopped going to this barber. I went back to him, but I almost got sick on my stomach because the guy, he, he's hurt by church and preachers. He loves God, watch YouTube all day. That's what be on in the bar, in his barber suite.
Let me preach. Won't go to church because he's been hurt by preachers who don't live nothing. And he—
and a lot of big preachers, I'm not going to call their name this morning. I'll probably call it later. I'm not going to call it today. Glory to God.
But he cut the hair of a lot of armor bearers, of big preachers in this city.
And the armor bearers sit in the chair and spill their guts. And ain't nothing but the devil, because it's pouring on his hurt. And I told him yesterday, I said, you got to close your ears to that garbage. I said, because it's keeping you from being where you need to be to get what you need from God. Because all they're doing is making that flame bigger, and you hurting, man. And then folks are gonna talk about church hurt, and I got hurt by the preacher. But listen, you got hurt in the world. Folk got hurt at the club. You still go to the club. I don't hear nobody talking about club hurt. Are y'all hearing this? Oh, you— I don't hear nobody about casino hurt. Yeah, cause casino hurt a lot of y'all, cause you left broke. Y'all not talking to me, cause the house always wins. Are y'all hearing this? But get hurt in the church, though.
Church hurt.
I ain't going to the church, cause listen, I told him, I said, bro, you got to put that fire out, cause how can you hear without a preacher? How can he preach except he be sent? Forsake not the assembling of yourself together. And if you want to make it in, you can't make it to heaven not coming to church. Oh, and listen, let me just kill that lie right now that you can go to heaven and you don't need the church. The devil is a liar. You need faith to get to heaven, and the Bible said faith come by hearing. How you gonna hear without the preacher? And I ain't talking about your YouTube guy. You need to be connected to a culture. You need to be connected to a life-giving source that builds your faith, that's going to motivate you to live right, to live holy, and something you can have accountability to. Are y'all hearing this? Because as long as you are— see, we got, we got folks— if everybody that come to church just sporadically came, we wouldn't have a room to put people. But the reality is, people— some people just don't want accountability. So they'll come and they'll, you know, they'll date us a little while, and then they'll stay away 5, 6 months, come on back. The reality is, you got to find somewhere that you can settle. Are y'all hearing this? Because we need the church. The church is important. I'm still back on that.
Let me, let me I was preaching about that today.
Holy Ghost arrested me. I'm telling you, I was—
it was in my spirit because people need to figure out the reality behind why we gather.
We don't gather just to have church. We gather as a witness to the world that God is real. You know, when we get up out the bed and come in here on Sunday, it says the people who are not saved, they believe something. They believe God because they're going to church. Also, we gather so we can create a culture of accountability, so that if— watch this— if I'm not right, I need a culture of people around me that'll help me get right. Are y'all hearing this? When I was growing up in the church, we had accountability in the church. So you couldn't even go on a date unless you took a chaperone. I mean, them preachers was hard, man. You had to take somebody on your date with you. Now, we weren't always obedient, but at the end of the day, that's what they commanded. But it was to make sure you didn't slip up. It was to make sure while you were not eating, somebody else sitting at another table watching you. Make sure you took that woman home. Are y'all hearing this? But that was accountability, and you had to really love God to have that. Are y'all here? So you gotta know that there's a heaven and a hell, and you—
gosh, yeah.
There's a real devil, just like there's a real God. He's a force of darkness. He's a force of evil, and he desires to take every person down that will choose not to serve God. He's a real devil, and he's your enemy. As a matter of fact, the devil is a hitman, and you're on his hit list. Because you are anointed, because you're saved, because you made up your mind that you was going to live for God. The devil is coming after you and he wants to take you down because he realized you are going to heaven and he realizes that he can never go back. So his chief goal and his demons is to bring you down.
Glory to God.
Where you'll end up in hell just like him. But you ought to make up in your mind, I'm gonna serve God so I can go to heaven. Because again, you can't be a whoremonger and get to heaven sleeping around. And I was, I was going there with the barber. He was telling the story about several big preachers talking about how they sleeping with young women in the church. Got 5 or 6 women sleeping with them at the church, and the armor bearer there— what the armor bearer need to do is tell. Y'all ain't got to talk. I mean, he's sleeping with young girls.
Need to tell.
Y'all ain't got to talk to me. See, see, that's the problem. We don't do enough exposure. We give too much grace. We need to expose the devil. I said, we need to tell when something is wrong. If you're a little girl and a man is touching you, tell.
Y'all not talking. If you're a teenager and a grown man got his hands on you, you need to tell. Glory to the name of God.
The devil is a liar.
That's not of God.
You're talking about the ones sleeping with even young boys. The devil is a liar. You cannot get to heaven being a whoremonger, being a pedophile, being a homosexual, being a lesbian. You cannot make it in.
Oh, y'all ain't got to talk to me.
It's unnatural affection. And listen, I, I know I could be probably more tolerant and maybe more compassionate in this, in these areas. But I have to preach against sin. I love everybody, but sin is sin. Are y'all hearing this? And you cannot say you're purely walking with God and you're missing the mark every day. How can you tell me you love God and you married to a man? How? I mean, where's the conviction? Where's the Holy Ghost? Well, we love— no, you in lust.
Oh boy, okay, okay, let me, let me go. Uh, yeah, yeah, so sin, hermeneia, and greed.
Mr. Mr. Mark, to come short, to come to lack glory. So you can— you ain't even got to be a fornicator or a hoe, a homosexual, lesbian. You ain't got to do it. Yeah. So I'm trying to do better. My wife gets on me when I say them words, but I mean, I just be trying to keep it 100.
It's a hoe, it's a hoe.
Are y'all here? And I'm not talking about a garden tool, a hoe. Need a rubber band around your legs and it just keeps flying over there.
Are y'all here?
Ain't gonna be no hoes in heaven except the one that got saved.
Are y'all here?
They're gonna have to get delivered from hoing.
Listen, I could talk like this because I was a hoe. Okay, y'all don't like this kind of transparency. I say I was a hoe, and I need to tell you, it took God to deliver me. Even after I got saved, in the church, became a preacher, still was a hoe, needed deliverance. It was a demon. And here's the problem with people in church, especially leaders. They don't want to accept that demonic forces are influencing them to do things that they would not normally do because Oh my God, they too shallow and religious and want to perform. Listen, I want to be free. Oh, y'all ain't got to talk. I just want to be saved. I want to go to heaven. Glory to God.
Oh boy. Okay, okay, I'm, I'mma go. Yeah, I don't care what— what's this? This. Only 3.5% of our society is a part of the LGBTQ community, and they make all the noise. Y'all ain't hearing me.
They come out the closet, they sound the alarm for how they feel, and we in the closet in the church scared to say something about it. Ain't but 3.5% of them.
Are y'all here?
Do the numbers. Ask ChatGPT and Google, they'll tell you. 3.5%. But they make a lot of noise, stand up for their rights. They done going to hell with gasoline drawers on and don't care. Y'all ain't got to say nothing. The reality is we have to take a stand against sin and declare there's a real heaven, just as sure as there's an earth. How you gonna believe in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and you don't believe there's no heaven and hell? You believe it's earth because you live on it.
Are y'all here? Let's go back to Romans. We bless you. Y'all here? Okay, Romans 8. I'm gonna get out of here. I'm gonna get out y'all here. So I want to just bring you up to speed on this because we read these verses a lot. I want you to just hear this, and I'm gonna be done in context.
Says in the know.
The knowing happens through your relationship with the Holy Spirit. And then about 12 things that the Holy Spirit blesses us with in Romans 8, before we even get to this part of the chapter, that we need to embrace.
The first one is in Romans 8:2.
He sets us free from sin.
In.
Woo! God.
So when the Holy Ghost comes in for real, you don't just talk in tongues. But according to Romans 8:2, he sets us free from sin. Okay, it says that we've been freed from the law of sin and death.
Ain't that what it say?
Say, I'm free from sin because the Holy Ghost lives in me. That means you don't have to be a participant. You can choose to live for God. So the Holy Ghost comes for more than gifts. Are y'all here? He comes for more than to make you an apostle, a prophet, an evangelist, a pastor, teacher. He is here for us to be free, liberated from sin.
Are we here?
Secondly, I love this. In the same verse, he cancels the death penalty. So when the Holy Ghost comes into your life, he makes you free from sin and death. He has to free you from sin because sin is the thing that causes death.
Are y'all here?
Again, the wages of sin is death. So he frees you from sin, and that cancels death. Because again, I don't get it how these inclusionist people can say they have the Holy Ghost but still live in sin, or how people that go to church every Sunday and still leave the church and live a life of sin? Because I'm not just picking on hoes and homosexuals, I'm talking about sin, period. How can you say you got the Holy Ghost and you're still living under the death penalty? Oh God. And this is going to make all the rest of this stuff make sense.
Okay, verses—
Romans 8, verses 4 and 5. The Holy Ghost, this is who does this.
He—
oh boy, he fulfills righteousness. That's why people be saying, oh, I can get to heaven without the Holy Ghost.
No, man, you need him because he's the righteousness of God.
That comes in you. And when you fellowship with him, he gives you a desire to live right. He fulfills righteousness. See, the problem with the church, we be trying to do this on our own. That's why we fall so much.
You know when you trying to do it on your own, when you keep stumbling.
But if you fellowship with him, spend time with him, he will fulfill the righteous mandate in you and you won't fall. But if you waking up every day trying to make yourself be holy, giving yourself all these rules— I don't know, the church feels like they're saved when you got to give them a bunch of rules. Don't do this, don't do that, don't brush your teeth, don't take a bath, don't put on pants. We want to hear that. To feel like we're saved. But being saved has nothing to do with none of that. It has something to do with how you live and behave. The Pentecost, your behavior in the Spirit, how you fellowship with the Holy Ghost, and he fulfills his righteousness through you.
Are y'all here?
Am I in the right place?
Anytime Christopher starts to preach, I think I'm going I'll make sure y'all still with me.
Number 4, verses 8— Romans 8:9-11. Holy Ghost does this. This is important. It shares with us that he indwells believers. You can read these verses later, but put it in your notes. This is important because we say we get filled with the Holy Ghost and we really don't realize what we're saying. Touch your belly and say, God lives in me.
God have mercy. Hallelujah. He lives in you.
He's alive in you.
When you receive him, he moves in. Number 5, write it down according to verse number—
Romans 8:10.
He gives life.
And that word life in the Greek is zoe, which is the God kind of life. He gives you life in the realm of the spirit. He gives you life according to his mysteries, according to his plans. Say that with me. Say, he gives life. Oh boy. Number 6, according to verse number 11, he quickens the mortal body. He has the ability to have control and bring your mortal body alive, and you've got to let him do that and hold him to his promise. You should never be dead when you got God on the inside of you.
Are y'all hearing me?
If God is in you, you should never be walking around here dead and dry. There should be some life in you. There should be some oomph in you to want to get things done because he quickens the mortal body. Number 7. Oh boy, here we go. Uh, this is why you need the Holy Ghost. Uh, according to verse number 13 in Romans 8, he who mortifies the sinful members—
I think I read that one. Yeah. Yeah, I'll read that one. He said, for if you live according to the dictates of the flesh, you will surely die.
So if you live according to your flesh, death is imminent.
Are y'all here? And you know what death is?
Death is separation from God, either here or there. You have to choose. Glory to God. Life. Let me keep reading. He says, but if you, through the power of the Holy Spirit, you are habitually putting to death, making extinct, deadening the evil deeds prompted by the body, you shall really and genuinely live forever. So if you choose God and his way, he will—
glory to God— kill the members of your flesh that are sinful. This tells me I gotta wanna stop sinning.
You gotta want—
it's a choice right here.
You gotta wanna let it go.
I don't care how good it makes you feel. It can make your toes ball up like this.
You gotta let it go. Are y'all here?
Oh, y'all here.
You gotta choose God because our reasoning for choosing stuff that's sinful can be crazy sometimes. We know it's wrong. You know you woke up in the wrong bed and you feel all that conviction, all those tears, all that crying, and you know it's separating you from God, and you still choose your body over him. Let the Holy Ghost kill that flesh. The Bible said mortify the members of your flesh daily.
You can't do it without him. Glory to God.
That's why you can't—
that's why I can't understand how a man can be married and and have a whole nother family somewhere that he taking care of and doing all the marriage stuff with the other. It's crazy.
That stuff bothers me because you can't tell. And then you up at church speaking in tongues with the Holy Ghost, laying hands on folk. Man, sit down and get delivered. Are y'all hearing me? That's toxic that you're imparting into other people. And you wonder why your folk can't live right.
Okay, I'm gonna keep going.
Number 8, number 8. Holy Ghost also—
I'm just setting up the last 3 verses and I'm gonna be out of here.
He leads the children of God.
Romans 8:14, number 8.
So if you got the Holy Ghost, he leads you.
Say, he's my leader.
Don't rub your belly and say, he's my leader. Say, I'll follow hard after him and I'll go where he tells me to go. Say, I'll do what he tells me to do. Say, I'll say what he tells me to say because he is my leader.
That's why you shouldn't even follow— I hear noise. The power on? Yeah, turn it off. I'm sorry, because I know if I hear that, it's gonna come out. It's coming out on the left. Jesus said, he leads me. I mean, just came out of nowhere. Glory to God. All right, say it again.
Say, he leads me. All right, verse 15 shows us that he adopts us. So the Holy Spirit adopts us. Now, I've never heard of an unwanted adoption.
When you adopt someone, you got— you want them, you choose.
God wanted every one of us, so the Holy Ghost brings us into the family. And it makes us one with the Father.
Are y'all hearing this?
And aligns us with his plan. We have to accept that adoption. One of the things about adoption, and if you study the patterns and the psychology of children who get adopted, a lot of times children who are adopted, they lack appreciation for the adoption. Y'all got to talk, because at the end of the day, all of the things most of the time they've been through creates an entitlement that they feel like they just deserve to be and to have whatever is happening to them. The reality is we don't get to be entitled in God. Are y'all hearing this? We must understand that God owe us nothing. He's already gave us everything. Are y'all hearing this? He's already rendered to us all that we need. The fact that we lack it is not his fault. If we're not walking in the fullness of what the Father has provided, it's always on us. I'm gonna say that again, it's always on us. God already said what he promised us in the word, and if we're living beneath that, we have not received. Because if you adopt the child in the natural Whatever that parent, adopting parent, has, those children have rights to now. They get to eat, they get to sleep, they get to drink. Are y'all hearing this? And again, a lot of time— and then it ain't just adopted children, natural children are entitled to— I got some of the most entitled children in the world, and I'll be wanting to slap all of them at times, even the grown ones. Glory, now they get on my nerves. Praise God. Thank you, Jesus. Send deliverance to the Woods house. And the Woods legacy. Praise God, because they get on my nerves, all of them. Even the one you may think the most anointed one, he do too. Glory to the name of God. It gets on my last nerves because of entitlement. And what you need to realize is, as a child of God, you have nothing except he give it to you. Y'all ain't gotta talk to me here. Everything you have belongs to him. He just gave you the privilege to steward his stuff, to manage his stuff. And even our children have to understand that what we have given to them, even once they reach adults, glory to the name of God, they don't have entitlement just because they have our name to get what we have. Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. No, you gotta be a part of this legacy. You gotta buy in. And listen, I promise you, I got more money than y'all mamas. Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. And if you keep buying into their legacy and won't buy into what God has called me to be, then you gonna miss your blessing at the end. Okay, yeah, mess around and get wrote out my will for real. Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. I'm not finna give you something just because you got my name. And you refuse to be a part of what God called me to be. Are y'all hearing this?
I—
some people get an inheritance and you gonna squander the inheritance. You won't even take the time to learn management, to learn wealth, to learn the business, to come to church.
Why would I give you anything?
Oh yeah, yeah.
And the one that watch all the time, that means you too. Because you gotta buy in.
Are y'all here?
You gotta buy in. And, and this is what God expects us to do. We gotta buy in so he can release the blessing. You don't get it just cause you got saved. Okay, we're gonna get into it. Let's get into it. Let's get into it. Go to Romans 8. Let's go, little bro. Let's get down in here. Let's start. Glory to the name of God.
At verse number 27.
Are y'all here? Y'all learn anything? Praise God.
Let's get in this. Say it's in the knowing. Glory to God. Y'all excuse my rant on my children. Y'all keep praying for me.
If y'all don't pray, they gonna get rolled out, I'm telling you.
Pray for the change. Glory to God.
Pray for their transformation.
Glory to God.
Verse 26, Romans 8:26.
Thank you, Jesus.
The Bible says, likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities. Says in the knowing. So infirmities here, let's break this down. Infirmities here is hemon in Greek, and hemon or hemon, it literally means—
glory to the name of God, this is good— it means afflictions caused by oneself. Are y'all hearing this?
So that's the worst kind of stuff you do to you. So if you know if the Holy Spirit help you with stuff you do to you, he'll help you with other stuff. So the Spirit helps our inflictions we put on ourselves. Can I submit to you this morning that some of the stuff you're dealing with is because you've self-inflicted it?
Are y'all hearing this?
And, and Paul has to say, okay, telling them, look, Just like the Spirit did all this other stuff for you, just like he moved in, just like he aligned you with righteousness, just like he indwells you, just like he kills sin, he also helps you. Somebody shout help! See, you got to know where your help come from, but you cannot get help from your infirmities until you're honest enough and humble enough to admit you got some infirmities. That you are in your own way in some areas.
Are y'all here?
See, it's easy to see when someone else is jacked up. Are y'all hearing this? It's easy to be on the outside and look at someone else's situation and see the problems they're having. Are y'all here? And the struggles they're going through. But God wants you to take a close look at yourself. And look at where you might be in your own way. Because I'm telling you, God is always 100% invested in your deliverance, in your healing, in your prosperity. He wants to see you win, but you got to decide, I'm gonna let him help me with my infirmities. Here's what I learned even trying to help people: you cannot help folk that don't want help. I'm gonna say that again: you cannot help people that do not desire help. You can minister to them, you can preach to them. You listen, I remember one time I was preaching revival in New York City, in Brooklyn. Glory to God. Not today's Brooklyn, but Brooklyn back then. Brooklyn has got 2 and 3 and 5 and $6 million homes and condos in there now. It wasn't that Brooklyn. I was preaching in a little storefront church, packed out, about smaller than this. It was narrow, probably could get 50 people in it, but the building was much smaller. And I'm— I was preaching.
Man walked in off the street and he was cold because it was cold outside.
It was in the winter in New York.
He came in and I had just got blessed with a long leather trench coat.
I had always wanted one. I said, man, I'm gonna get me a leather trench coat.
And somebody bought me one and gave it to me. And I said, Lord, I'm so grateful for this coat.
The Lord said, give him your coat.
My Lord Jesus, my coat! He said, give him your coat. He said, I'll give you another coat. I'm going to teach you something. Give him your coat. I gave the man my coat, prayed for him. He fell out and all that stuff. Left the church. I said, man, go be warm. Find you somewhere warm and keep this coat so you can stay warm. And I'm watching my coat go out the door. I still don't feel that good about that. I'm telling you why.
This is why. Because the next night I came back to the Bible preach, he come in the door again. But guess what he came in doing? This. I stopped preaching. I said, sir, where's my coat? That's it on the mic.
He said, I'm so sorry, but I sold the coat. He's addicted. He used it to get more drugs. And God said, you can't help people who's not ready to be helped.
I was there a week.
Them first 2 days, he wasn't ready to be helped, but by the time I left, he got delivered. He got free. Are y'all here?
And he never went back to drugs.
Here's the reality: God helps us if we receive it.
You gotta let him help you, and you got to be willing to admit, I got—
I'm jacked up right here.
Are y'all hearing this?
But if you look at yourself and all you see is the cat's meow and the dog's bow wow, and you're the best thing since sliced bread, well, yeah, you got some infirmities and you need to deal with it. And this, this message of grace has got people feeling like they don't have to address their infirmities. Switch mics with me, Felicia.
My infirmities Shabbat. So the Spirit will help you when you address it. He said, for we know not what we should pray as we ought. So watch this, you don't even know what to pray for. The Bible said the Holy Spirit knows exactly what you need. Watch this, but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us. Say the Holy Ghost prays for me. Watch this, with groanings which cannot be uttered. That's why when you in prayer, watch this, and your spirit shift to tongues and your spirit shifts to moaning and groaning, don't reject that. Don't try to take over the prayer and keep trying to say what you want to say. See, a lot of times our praying doesn't receive answers because we don't know this, because we keep trying to pray in English when God says, "Yil," and let him take over. And this is the way you tap into those mysteries because he's going to unlock things for you to see.
You can't utter it, he can.
So it has to come out of your spirit. So tongues ain't just for me to pray in nice tongues and look good at church. Tongues is for me to break through to realms.
Glory to God.
Because when you're talking tongues, you're talking in the language of your home country. Your language of your home country is tongues. Are y'all here? That's where you—
watch this—
a baby comes out of the womb going, "Bah bah bah bah bah." You know why? Because that baby just left the home country and they still remembering the language that was going on when they— y'all like, "Okay." And then as they develop and get shaped in iniquity, they learn English.
Are y'all here?
Notice when a baby is first starting making up, they making syllables. Are y'all hearing this? And that's why when a person starts speaking in tongues, they started that baby level. I could tell where you at by how you talking in tongues. Y'all ain't got to say nothing, but when you mature, your tongue shifts, your tongues grow. Are y'all hearing this? So you gotta excel in your time with God so he can get the glory out of what you're doing. Are y'all here? Glory to God. All right, I'm almost done. He says, verse 27, and he that searches the heart— this is Holy Ghost again— knoweth what the mind of the spirit— know the mind— what is the mind of the Spirit. So I gotta search the heart of the Father— watch this— the Son, the Holy Ghost. I gotta search the heart of heaven so I can know what's on the Spirit's mind. So many times we pray and we don't search the heart of God. We really don't want to know for real what's on God's mind.
Are y'all hearing this?
Because many times what's on God's mind is totally contradictory, one, to what we thought was him, and two, to what we really want to do. So we don't take the time to really search the mind of God to see what God is saying about a thing.
Matter of fact, we'll arrive at a conclusion about something out of emotion.
Go back to this: we'll get hurt, we'll get broken, we'll have a challenge, and instead of leaning on what God says about why you are there, you want to lean into the emotion and baby that because we've been taught to baby our emotions. But when you walk in the spirit, you have to make emotional sacrifices.
It's hard because you, you feel like, if I'm hurt, I need to be able to feel hurt.
I need to be able to lick my wounds. No, but if you want to— what's on God's mind?
Why did he break?
Why are you broken? Sometimes God bothers you to make you better. Oh, we don't want to hear that. Sometimes God will break you. So sometimes he'll put a Trump in office So you will pray.
Are y'all hearing this?
The church has been prayerless for our leaders. That's why Obama was able to pass that gay marriage thing, because we weren't praying. The church at one time had big influence in government. The whole Ten Commandments— oh my God— Ten Commandments influenced the Constitution of the United States. It's been amended so many times since then. 'Cause the church got weak. The church stopped praying. And sometimes God will break you down and put you in positions where you have no choice but to call on him. But I'm here to tell you this morning, if you call on Jesus, the old mother said he will answer prayer. You have to learn how to search his mind and talk to him about what's going on. Stop leaning to your own understanding, but in all your ways, the Bible says, acknowledge him and he will direct your path.
Are y'all getting this?
Hallelujah!
Glory to God! We bless him, we honor him. Watch this. He that searcheth the heart knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to is again to the will of God.
So he don't intercede based on what you want, he based on, based on what the word wants for you, based on what God has planned for you.
Are y'all hearing this?
Holy Ghost prays word, so should you. That's why when you pray the word, he takes over and starts interceding word for you. Hallelujah. So that that word over your life can come to pass. Rub your belly. Say, I want to be in the will of God. I want to live my life in the word. Say, whatever the word says, I believe. Say, what the word says, I can do. I can do. Say, what the word says, I can have. I can have. Say what the word says. I can be, I can be. Say my life is complete, my life is full, my joy is complete through the word. Say I don't lack anything because the word lives in me. Say the word of God is right and it is his will, his perfect will for my life. If you believe that, clap your hands and give God praise and glory. Come on, you ain't praising him. Praise God for his word. I need about 3 people that the word has done something for. I don't know about you, but I've seen the word heal.
I've seen the word deliver.
I've seen the word open doors.
I need somebody to praise him for real for what the word has done. Come on, open your mouth and thank God for the word, the word, the word, the word. Come on, praise him for the word, the word.
He—
his word gives you hope, his word gives you peace. Don't you be discouraged, don't you lose faith, don't lose hope. Rejoice in his word. Come on, give God praise for his word, from Genesis to Revelation, the word. See, we come up with all other philosophies and thought processes, but I heard the old mother say, get in the word and stay there. Get in the word and stay there and be ready when Jesus comes. I need you to understand, the word prepares you for his coming. It prepares you for breakthrough. It prepares you for increase. Somebody ought to thank God for the word, the word, the word, the word.
Boy, I tell you, y'all sound like some folk that really love the word.
I tell you, hallelujah!
You've got to get excited about this. Is the very thing that rules your life. Holy Ghost prays according to the word. He's interceding what's in the book.
We can't—
we got to stop scrolling and read the Bible. Are y'all hearing this? We scroll so much and never study. Oh, we're here, and God says you gotta— we gotta get in the word, and we got to trust what he says. And if he said it, we got to believe that he's going to do it, that he's going to bring it to pass. Glory to the name of God, because he cannot lie. His word cannot lie. I wish I had somebody here to realize the word is truth, the word is life. In the beginning was word, and the word was God, and the word— or somebody on the thing.
So guess what? God and word is synonymous. I need you to praise God for him, for his word. Oh God, we thank you for the word.
Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. That's why you ought to get excited, and not just to get to church because you're gonna have church. You ought to be excited because I'm going to church because there's a word from the Lord. You ought to get excited when you go to study.
There's a word from the Lord every time you pray. I'm praying because there is a word from God. There is a direction for my life.
There's navigation for my life.
See, and a lot of times you don't realize it, your prayers are not working because you ain't praying the word.
I'm just passionate about this. Listen, listen, listen, I got— if the truth offends you, I can't apologize. I can't take it back. But at the end of the day, I understand. The reality is you've got to graduate from that religious mindset and make up your mind you're gonna trust what this book says and not your common sense.
Are y'all hearing me?
Some people trust in their common sense. Stupidity to put your brains over God.
Are y'all hearing this?
It's sheer stupidity because our brains never do nothing but get us in trouble and cause us to be in lack. Are y'all hearing this?
We gotta trust this book. Move. Move.
Verse 28, here's another conjunction. And we know—
there it is, orda, absolute knowledge, exact knowledge. See, you gotta know this absolutely.
That all things work together. Work together, some plural in Greek, which means everything you go through has a synergy, one thing strengthening the other. Your life has ingredients of good and bad, and God takes the good and the bad and he works it some plural together. Watch this, he employs himself in the process. That's called divine self-effacement. So God comes off the throne through the person of the Holy Ghost, gets involved in what you're dealing with, creates a synergy with your life to work things together. You may not see it, but God is always working, and you got to know it. Even when it don't look like it, even when it feel like you're going under, you're gonna give in and give out. You got to know that God has come on the scene, and no matter what it looks like, this thing is about to work together. God creates a synergy through your failure. Some of the things I went through and some of the failures I had, didn't quite understand why I could not stop some of the things that happened to me. But God said those things have made you the person that you are today. Some things I wish never happened. Some things I went through, I wish I never would have went through. Some things that I did, I wish I never would have did. Some decisions I made, I wish I never would have made them.
But God took them.
He takes your situation and he creates a revelation. You'll never know that he's Jehovah Jireh, the Lord your provider, if you don't have a situation where he needs to provide. You'll never know he's Jehovah Rapha, the Lord your healer, until sickness shows up in your life and you get a revelation that he's here. Aya here.
God brings situations so he can work together with it and get the glory out of it.
I'm here to tell somebody today, and I'm going home, don't curse your crisis. See, when you get crisis coming to your life, you can't curse it because God's gonna use that crisis to work it together for your good. He's gonna use that crisis to bring you out and make you better. The word good here is a Greek word, bona, and it means profit. P-R-O-F-I-T. Glory to God. You ask a businessman to define profit, they're gonna tell you what's left over after the expenses of the business have been paid and covered. God says, I work these things together for your profit. Glory to the name of God.
So you'll have something left over to wave in the devil's face and let him know, you should have killed me. While you had the chance. Ah, God, see that God will bring you through.
Glory to God. And let the devil know, you should have killed Michael Woods while he was a ho.
You should have killed me while I was in sin. You should have killed me when I didn't have enough sense to get myself together. But you messed up and let God deliver me. You messed up and let God bring me out. Glory to the name of God. And now God has worked this thing together for good. Y'all, oh my God, here I heard the songwriter say, it will work out for the good of them that love God. I need you to praise God. Hallelujah for what he's brought you through. I want you to think about what he's brought you out of. I want I want you to think about all the hell you've been through, the times you wanted to die, the times you wanted to give up, the time you should have lost your mind, the time you should have thrown in the towel. But God has brought you out for such a time as this. It's in what you know. Now, no matter what I go through, I'm gonna keep dick because I know God will bring me out. Come on, give God praise and glory.
I don't have no people that's been through something.
Glory to God, you've been to hell and back. You've been through pain, you almost lost your mind, but God brought you out. But God brought you through. Oh God, I thank you.
Say, I know it.
Say, I know it. I know it.
I got to go.
I got to go.
Glory to God. I know it. I know it. I know it. I know it was him. He had merked it together, some plural. He creates a synergy for profit, for good. Here's the catch here. He works it together for them that love God. See, if you don't love him, you out here by yourself. But God says, I'll work it together for them that love me. The word love is agape in Greek. Them that have unconditional love toward me, that say they love me for love alone.
See, you got to love God if he never gives you a Bentley. You got to love God if you're never able to wear Louis Vuitton or Prada, if you can't wear Louboutins. You got to love God if you never get a 10,000-square-foot house. You got to love God if he never does another thing for you. You got to make up in your mind, God, you've already done enough. God, you've already blessed me more than I can ever imagine, because you saved my soul. See, your salvation has to be the thing. Come on, Pastor! Your salvation has to be the thing that keeps you, that keeps you going, that keeps you worshiping, that keeps you praying. You got to love him regardless of what it looks like. Ain't got no money, but Lord, I love you. Ain't got a car, but Lord, I love you. No job, but Lord, I love you. Glory to God! Anybody here love God? You say, I'll work it out. If you love me, clap your hands and praise. I wish I had some lovers of God.
I hear Lamentations 1:18.
God said, where are my lovers? I sought looking for my lovers and they deceived me. He said my priests and my elders gave up the ghost in the city. But God is looking for lovers that'll love him at all times, that'll love him when the chips are down, that'll love him when the going get tough, gotta love him when it gets hard, gotta love him through trial, through tribulation. I wish somebody ran back with your preaching voice and say, Lord, I love you. Oh glory, Lord, I love you. Lord, I praise you. Lord, I bless you.
Oh God.
I love you, God.
I love you, God.
I love you, God.
See what the devil didn't know?
He messed up and let you fall in love with Jesus. Come here, songwriter. Falling in love with Jesus is the best thing I've ever done. Say glory!
I gotta go. Y'all said, y'all said, I love it. See, people that love God don't live in worry. People that love God— I'm trying to move— but people that's in love with him, they don't lose heart, they don't faint and grow weary.
They don't fall down. They don't fold their hand.
They keep on going and they make up their mind.
I love it with my whole heart, my whole mind, my whole spirit.
I love my neighbor as myself.
Can I tell you something? Love, it makes the world work. Love will turn everything around.
I need you to decide.
I'm in love with him. That's what it's about. I don't preach for money, I preach because I love him. I don't worship for likes, I don't post for likes, I do everything I do because I love him. Oh God, somebody needs to make up your mind. I'm in love.
Come on, just get on your feet. The Holy Ghost— I ain't through, I'm gonna just stop. Just get on your feet and open up your mouth and love on God.
Come on. Come on, this thing's going to work out. God's going to turn this thing around. God's going to make a difference. Come on, worship him. Come on, worship him. Come on, worship him. Come on, love on him. Love on him. Love him. Love him. Don't worry about what you're going through, just love on God. Come on, open your mouth and love on God, God, we love you. God, we adore you. God, we bless you. God, we honor you. God, we extol you. We love you. We love you.
And because we love you, we'll keep your commandments.
Because we love you, We'll live holy because we love you. We'll walk upright because we love you. We'll forget those things which are behind and we'll reach those things which are ahead because we love you. We will operate as new creation such. If any man be in Christ He is a new creature. All things are passed away. Behold, all things have become new. We love you, we love you, we love you. We preach because we love you. We praise because we love you. We worship Because we love you, we live because we love you.
Love on it.
Hey God, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love. Love, love, love, love. We love you. Yeah, we love you.
Oh God, oh God, oh God, oh God.
