Well, praise the Lord and welcome to tonight's edition of Rhoda Now.

For those of you who are uninitiated, my name is Apostle Mike Woods, and I'm super grateful for the opportunity to be able to speak into your life. Listen, do me a kind favor, share this right now. We're going to jump right into the heart of this teaching tonight, uh, because I don't want to be long, I don't want to hold you to you, but I do believe what we're about to share is very important to this new year.

And by the way, Happy New Year!

It's very important to this new year and the years to come.

So I want to get this out.

I want as many people to get this in their ear.

I don't want to be long because I want people to absorb it.

I want them to accept it. Glory to God!

Some of the things I may say tonight, as the Lord has given them to me Listen, they may be a little challenging. It may challenge your position in a lot of ways, but I promise you, if you trust the Lord and take him at his word, everything I'm going to give you tonight is coming out of the word. And you know, the Lord just spoke some very clear things to me, and I want to share them with you. Amen. So do me the favor.

You're blessed to be a blessing.

So tonight I need you to share this teaching right now.

Father, in Jesus' name— yes, Lord— I thank you for the opportunity to teach your word.

I thank you, Father, for being real. Eshia, moti, skile, skoto, brisco, romondiasai.

I thank you, God, for being real in my life. And I decree and declare, God, that your life is my life, and I am nothing without you. God, it's in you I live, move, and have my being. I pray tonight in the name of Jesus that every person under the sound of my voice that you would give them the opportunity to have a heavy anointing and a deep consecration and a close intimate relationship with you. I pray, God, that you would give them clarity concerning their life, and I pray that the blessing of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow— oh my God—

will rest heavy upon their lives, and I give you praise Please, for that, Father, as we open the word to teach tonight, I ask you that you would give us the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of the Holy Ghost.

Hallelujah. Oh well, glory to God. I'm telling you, I feel Jesus right now.

Praise God.

And I promise you, tonight this word Hallelujah!

It's going to be revolutionary. Hallelujah! It's going to be absolutely and categorically life-changing.

So I need you again to share it, and I need you to get your pen and your paper and open your heart and your mind and receive this word. Because watch this, when you get spiritual revelation and spiritual information You gotta absorb it so you can make proper application of it. Because I always say revelation and information without application is constipation. So you can receive this and not apply it. You're gonna have some problems. So I want to jump in this, man, and I want to share tonight.

We're going to talk about It's in the Knowing. Again, the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me and said, son, 2022 would be the year of knowing me better, knowing me more, of intentional and intensified relationship.

And the reality is, and I hate to say this, man, there are so many of you that's watching, there's so many people in the world, and it's not really your fault, okay? You attend church and you mostly— a lot of you have been in church a large majority of your life. And the reality is you don't really know God. You know church, you know the protocol. Again, church will make you churchy. Religion will teach you to be churchy. When to raise your hands, when to cry. Most of you can cry on cue. When to dance, when to have a praise break. And the problem that has happened in the church over time is that so many has been robbed—

hear me—

of an opportunity to really get to know the main focus of the kingdom, which is God the King himself. And so I am determined that the rest of my life I'm gonna spend it teaching individuals how to passionately fall in love with God, with the Lord Jesus Christ, and know him for real. You know, nothing else matters when you taste God for real. So we're going to talk about tonight what it means to know God. My text is going to come from Daniel 11:22, and as a matter of fact, let's go ahead and let's read that. Glory to God. Right now the Bible says, and as such as do wickedly against the covenant— hear me— shall he corrupt by flatteries. But the people that do know their God— I'm gonna say it again— that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits. I'm gonna read it again because it's just all right to read the Bible. The Bible says, and such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries. Hallelujah. But the people that do know their God— hallelujah— shall be strong and do exploits. Now we're going to come back to that at the end, if it's all right with you. But right now I want to give you at the top of this teaching—

3 things that knowing God will produce. I want to give you 3 things really quick that knowing God will produce. First of all, my God, here, knowing God will produce prophetic power. Somebody ought to type in the comments, prophetic power. Listen, again, I'm jumping right in this because I don't want to hold you long because I'm— some of you probably watching this on your phone on the way to the club or something. I don't want to hold you. But I want you to grab this because I want you to have a great year, and I want 2022 really to be the best year of your life. Glory to God. So when you really know God for real, the first thing it does, it produces prophetic power. Type that in this— in the comments again. Prophetic power. Prophetic, the word in its simplest terms, means that that pertains to prophecy. Now watch this. Every believer through the Holy Ghost— hear this— has the ability to prophesy because the Bible says that one of the gifts of the Spirit— hear me— is the gift of prophecy. Now what is prophecy? Prophecy means to foretell and foretell by way of decree what the Lord is saying. Now watch this, you have the prophetic power through the anointing of the Holy Ghost to prophesy into the dim— oh my God, the dimension of your life, the things that God is saying. And I'm telling you something now, words are powerful. Matter of fact, your life is shaped by the words you speak. You have the prophetic power to speak to your healing. You have the prophetic power to speak to your— I dare somebody just touch yourself and say, I have prophetic power. My God, here you got the prophetic power to speak to your children. You got the prophetic power to speak to the destinies and the future of those children. And I want you to know something, you got it because you have the baptism Hear me in the Holy Ghost. Now, if you do not have the baptism in the Holy Ghost, I want to tell you something. This power is not available to you, so you need the Holy Spirit. Well, let's get some Bible. Somebody said, what's your tripping? What you mean I need the Holy Ghost? Yeah, you need the baptism of the Holy Ghost. The Bible said, but you shall receive power, Acts 1:8. After that, the Holy Ghost is come upon you, and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in Judea and in Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Now, what are you saying, Michael Woods? I'm saying to you, when you receive the Holy Ghost— hallelujah— and I want to tell you something. This is one of the reasons so many people do not really know God. I hate to be the preacher that busts your bubble. Just because you jump and shout and roll on the floor and spit and blow bubbles and watch this, even talk in tongues, because religion and organized institutionalized church can literally train you to speak in tongues, or if they don't train you, you can learn it through mimicking what you hear. Oh my God, oh my God. Mimicking what you hear somebody else doing. So at the end of the day, I want to tell you something. You need to check your Holy Ghost and make sure that you really filled.

The word filled is epiknosis in Greek.

Epiknosis means that you are thoroughly furnished— watch this— with the ways of God, and you're thoroughly equipped. Here we go. With the resources of God. So when you're filled with the Spirit of God, the Holy Ghost, you're literally filled with God and his essence and everything that he has. Oh my goodness, here you listen, everybody that jumps and shouting, oh my God, go to church and quickens, doesn't mean they feel with the Holy Ghost. Listen, you have some power. Word power, oh my God, is in this text is, oh my God, dunamis in Greek, is what we get words like dynamo. And a dynamo is explosive power, explosive ability, like dynamite. Oh my God, which means now you have a prophetic power. Oh glory to God, through the anointing of the Holy Ghost, to be a dynamo, to speak out of your mouth to destroy generational curses, to destroy poverty, to destroy sickness and disease in your life. You got prophetic power. I dare you, type it, I got prophetic power. I gotta move from this, I got a lot to cover, y'all. But touch yourself again and say, I got prophetic power.

Woo!

Good God Almighty, I'm telling you, you got it. And you, when the Holy Ghost comes upon you, you got the anointing on you now that through your words to blow something up. Well, wait a minute, wait a minute. Let's go to Jeremiah 29:11. Let me give you some more scripture. Touch yourself again and say, I got prophetic power. I have prophetic power. Glory to God. Now watch this. Jeremiah 29:11. Hear this. God says these words. He says, I know, good God Almighty, the thoughts I think toward you, said the Lord. Thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end. You talk about prophetic power. Wait a minute. God says, I know the thoughts I think toward you. In other words, God is saying, listen to me, mahavash, thoughts in Hebrew. I know the large thoughts, the large mindset the large desires that I have planned toward you. In other words, these thoughts that God is having— I think church is ever say he's thinking about me— he already has planned them out for your life. They are for you, they are yours, said the Lord. Oh my God, there's some stuff that God has planned regarding your life, your healing, your deliverance, your children, your legacy, that God has already thought through, that many people have not even tapped into because you have lived in a realm where you define yourself by other people's thoughts of you. You define yourself based on what your cultural upbringing taught you about you. Listen, if I would have listened to what was being told I was growing up, if I would listen to the crazy voices that was speaking over my life about who I really am, I would not be doing what I'm doing right now because I would ascribe to what they thought I was and what they wanted me to be. Listen, you gotta understand that there's a loftier thought concerning you and you gotta tap into that. And the only way you tap into that is through relationship. Now watch this, as you relate to God and knowing him, you grasp what he's thinking. And watch this, through prophetic power, you start saying, about you and your life, what's on God's mind. And as you say it, it comes to pass in your life. You gotta say it till you see it. You gotta say it till you see it. That's how God thinks. That's how he works. God even does that. He says it and it comes to pass. He said, let there be light. There was light. Come on, y'all, we got the same opportunity to act in prophetic power like God. Because watch this, he said, these thoughts are thoughts of peace. Oh man. And not of evil. So peace is shalom in Hebrew.

Stay with me.

And it's not the absence of confusion, but peace means the presence of assistance. So he says, these thoughts I'm thinking are thoughts that says They're so huge, you're gonna need to know that I am present in assisting you in bringing this to pass. It's born out relationship. You'll never know that kind of peace in a God dream. See, this verse is all about dreaming with God. Any other dreaming, any other vision beyond what God is thinking is my God in inferior to God and literally— hear me— inferior to your life.

Oh my God, oh my goodness. I'm gonna say it again.

It's inferior to God and it's literally inferior to your life. You gotta get on the God thinking level. Just say that again.

Say, God is thinking about me.

Type it in the comments. God is thinking about me. As you go through 2022, I want you to go through 2022 with the mindset that God is thinking about you. When you go to your job, when you go to school, as you're raising your child, I want you to know you're not doing it alone. As you're pursuing the dream of God for your life, listen, he is with you because shalom means again, the presence of assistance. God says, I'm here to assist you.

I'm here.

You know, a point guard in basketball is so important. You know, I love basketball.

I'm so much so I'm a season ticket holder for the Atlanta Hawks, been for several years now, multiple years.

Glory to God.

And listen, let me tell you something, watching Trae Young play basketball is a blessing for me. It's a—

there's such an anointing on Trae Young to do what Trae Young does.

It's, it's an anointing to not only create for himself, but to create for everybody else.

He makes everybody else around him better. He has the ability to open up shots that wasn't there, and guess what he does? He passes the ball to the man so he can get the shot. In basketball, that's called an assist.

Can I tell you something? God is opening up things for you that you didn't have access to before.

Oh boy, I heard the Lord say this. Oh my God, I heard him say it, and I posted this earlier today, and I hear him saying it again. My right ear right now. The Lord said in 2022, as you fall deeper in love with him and get to know him more and increase in your knowing of him, he says you're gonna have access to people, places, resources, and money that was previously out of reach for you. So I heard the Lord say even right now, fall in love with me and get deeper in the knowing, for I am real, said the Lord. Whoo! Somebody ought to rejoice right there.

God is real, and he says he wants to know you. Ooh! Woo!

Hallelujah! Oh my God! Oh, listen, I'm on that too long. We gotta get to Daniel. Wait a minute, let's keep moving. Number 2, so number 1, knowing God produces, are you hearing me? Hallelujah, prophetic power. Say it again. I have prophetic power. That's the ability to speak to your future what God has already thought. What God has already planned. When you receive the Holy Ghost, you got it. Holy Ghost ain't just shaking and running. The Holy Ghost is God for real in you. I know it. Because I got him in me.

Listen, if God weren't real, I wouldn't be serving God. I wouldn't be in church. I'm telling you right now, I wouldn't be in church. I wouldn't be doing this. I would be totally indulged in making money. Paper would be my whole priority, period.

But I'm in him.

I know him. My priority is people. My priority— glory to the name of God—

is him, is making sure I maintain a pleasure mode relationship with him. Yeah. Oh my God, let's move.

Number 2, knowing God produces clarity of purpose. There's so many people— purpose, watch this, it's not who you are, it's why you are. Hallelujah, hallelujah. My late mentor and father, Dr. Miles Monroe. He taught this with such power and anointing, and every person that had the pleasure to be around him, to listen to his words— even if you've only had the pleasure to read his books or be in a service where he was teaching— you were gonna hear something about purpose. So this thing is deeply embedded me.

I, you know, I've been listening to Miles Monroe since 1989. He's been an innate part of my life since 1989 up into his death. And the things that was imparted to me was to carry this message and to intertwine the teachings that he gives me with it.

So I want to share with you something really quick. Purpose, hear me, is one of the most powerful things you can get clarity of. And you will never know God, hallelujah, fully until you fully embrace what he knows.

See, what he's thinking about you is purpose.

Hallelujah. Purpose deals with—

and Miles used to say this a lot— it doesn't deal with who you are it deals with why you are. Many of you are so busy trying to discover your identity, who you are. Okay, so once you find that out, what are you gonna do? Alright, you need to understand why you are. Your why takes you high. Oh, glory to God. Your why takes you to dimensions unknown. So you gotta know your purpose, the propost, the proposal for your life. That's the Latin word for purpose, propost. It's where we get words like propose, Glory to God. God has proposed a plan. Now, the reason it's a proposal, because God would never violate your will and make you walk in purpose. So he set this proposal, this why, before you and say, hey, this is ultimately who you are. Here's a problem in the church today. Here's a problem in the world today. Because of social media, because of everybody is a journalist, anyone can pick up their phone.

Hear me.

And start talking. Anyone, glory to God, can say what they want to say and create a purpose, create something they're not through a phone, through a computer. And the reality is, it's dangerous because many of you are living life without clarity of who you really are because you're creating an image based on an identity you saw online and you want to be that, or you saw on television, you want to be that.

But when I tell you there's an authentic why for you, every one of us have it.

Here's the problem. Every purpose is not known.

The reason it's not known is because people don't know God. Your discovery of purpose, because it's not your decision, it's your discovery.

Listen, I say, I'll say it again. Purpose is never your decision. But always your discovery. I'll say it one more time because somebody in the back didn't get it. Purpose is never your decision. Purpose is your discovery. Why is it? Because God already created the purpose. He already discussed the purpose with you in Jeremiah 1:5. Before I formed you, I knew you. Oh, here's a knowing. Here's a knowing. Jeremiah 1:5. Type that in the comments. It's not in my notes, but the Holy Ghost is flowing right now. Jeremiah 1:5: Before I formed you in your mama's belly, I knew you. Yada in Hebrew. I was intimate with you. We had not sex. Intimacy is not sex. Intimacy. In other words, yada means I inspected you. Oh my God, I decided who you were. I decided why you and I put all of that in a package inside of you for you to release in the earth. And I propose this, and at some point in your life you're going to have an opportunity to accept or deny the proposal. Knowing God helps you understand purpose. Can I tell you something? Purpose is the only thing that prevails. Purpose is the only thing that stands forever. Let's go to scripture, uh, Proverbs Oh my God. Proverbs 19:21. It says, many, hear me, are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose, my God, here that prevails. So there's a, the King James said there's many devices in a man's heart, but it is the counsel of the Lord, or the Hebrew word for counsel, it is what the Lord has proposed. Proposed or previously counseled you about in the before. Hallelujah. That prevails. The only thing that's eternal is the purpose of the Lord. The only thing that lasts forever is what God— oh my God— has planned. And some of you out here running after stuff— excuse me— that God has not planned.

Don't marry anyone that's not purposed. Don't do any phase of ministry that's not purpose.

Don't work a job that's not purpose. Come on now, come on now. Don't date someone that's not purpose because it will— it's not gonna last. The only thing that lasts is those things that have been purposed.

It's the Lord's purpose that prevails, not your personal agenda, not your per— personal proposals. But the thing that lasts a lifetime is the thing that God has purpose. I was just telling my wife this week, I don't ever want to be in a place where purpose does not exist. I don't want to attend a church service that's not purpose for me to be there.

I don't want to be sitting there listening to somebody preach that I ain't purposed to be listening to them preach.

I don't want anybody preaching for me that ain't purposed to preach for me. I listen, I only want to be where God is, not where he was, period.

And I was telling her, we have to live as an example of purpose and ensuring that we don't allow— watch this— religion to block us into patterns that are not purpose.

Because I want to tell you something, every religious pattern is not purposed by God. Help me, Holy Ghost.

Ha! There are many plans, there are many things you could do and want to do, but it doesn't mean you're supposed to be doing it, right? Right.

It doesn't mean that it's the Lord's purpose for your life.

And watch this, it certainly doesn't that is gonna last forever.

So number 1, when you know God, you have prophetic power. Number 2, you gain, ah, clarity of purpose.

And number 3, I got to go, y'all, you have perfect peace.

Remember we said peace was the presence of assistance? See, knowing God puts you in a position to to perfect that peace. The word perfect in Greek is teleios, which means maturity, to become a mature person who walks in peace. Some of you get bent out of shape about stuff too quick because you don't really have the peace of God that surpasses or goes beyond or above understanding. The Bible says that when you come into Jesus, he gives you a peace that surpasses understand it.

The reason you panic when stuff shows up— see, if you don't know God this year, it's gonna be a whole lot of stuff that happens this year with coronavirus. Coronavirus ain't through.

The Lord is allowing this stuff to continue to do what it do because he wants y'all to know God, know him for real. He wants you to trust him for real and be at peace with him for real.

So I don't know, some of you talking the talk and you ain't at peace.

Peace.

You, you talking the faith talk, but you're still sick, you're still bound. You got folks still dying of COVID saying they know God. It's— I don't get it. That don't match. You know Jehovah Rapha, the Lord your healer, but you die of COVID So at the end of the day, that ain't the way he wants us to lead. That's murder. So God wants you to overcome in every single area. So yeah, some of you gonna hit financial crisis this year. But you got to understand that God is perfecting peace in your life and giving you a mature peace to press through. Why? Why?

Because you got the presence of his assistance.

Let's get some word on this. The Bible says in Isaiah 26:3, he says, thou will keep him in perfect peace. Lord, help us, Jesus, whose mind is stayed— Lord have mercy— on thee because he trusts in thee. Lord have mercy. He said, I'm gonna keep you in perfect peace because you keep your mind stayed on him because you trust him. In other words, watch it, the word trust there in Hebrew means that you have no desire to trust anything else, that you're locked into God's ability, so much so that you're willing to die because of what he said. So you trust him unto death, which you have to make a choice to trust him. But he says, I'll keep you in perfect peace if you keep your mind Stay on me. You gotta keep thinking about him. He thinking about you, you thinking about him. That's what relationship with God is.

It's you—

that's what knowing God is. In every moment, in every situation— got a bad report from the doctors? Well, instead of thinking on what the report says, think on what God says. You thinking about him, knowing he's thinking about you. He wants to heal you. He wants to—

oh my God—

he wants to deliver you. He wants you to prosper. He wants to open doors. He want to give you perfect peace so you can navigate any storm. What I'm saying— what are you saying, Michael Woods?

I'm saying it's in the knowing. It's in the knowing. Glory. Type it in the comments. It's in the knowing.

You gotta know him. So let's go to Daniel. I'm almost through. The Bible says in Daniel, and such as do wickedly against the covenant, he shall corrupt by flatteries. But the people that do know their God shall be strong. And do exploits. Let's unpack this, ladies and gentlemen. Glory to God. So first thing he said is such as do wickedly. The word wickedly— let's, let's, let's go here— is rosha in Hebrew. Okay, rosha in Hebrew. Let's, let's break this down because we gotta know him. Now let me just catch you up to this verse because I'm reading one verse in an entire context. Of what's happening. There is a wicked king that's trying to superimpose his way of working, his way of living upon the people, and trying to oppose the laws and the ways of living that God has presented to the people. And the prophet Daniel rises up and says, and such as do wickedly against the covenant. Now watch this. Again, Rasha means such as disturbs, violates, condemns, makes trouble, and causes others to depart the covenant. Oh my, he said that's wicked when you come against the alliance Okay, watch it. Against the covenant. Rasha. Covenant is b'rit. B-R-I-T-H. B'rit in Hebrew. And it literally means— watch this— alliance, a pledge between two or more parties with an agreement to align or carry out the terms listed in the covenant. So God has given us terms in his covenant. In his word. Oh my God, in his heart, inside a relationship, a covenant connection with God. That's an alliance that God says, if you do this, I'll do this. And God, watch this, is always 100% invested in his belief, in his alliance with you and I. It's man that breaks the promise. Hear me. Oh, it's man— listen to me, ladies and gentlemen— that allows wickedness to turn him against what God has spoken and begin to follow his way to appease his flesh and never really reaping the benefits of the covenant. The Bible says here such as do wicked against the covenant shall he corrupt, shall he corrupt by flatteries. Shenefif in Hebrew, which is corrupt, which means pollute, or oh my God, put toxins in, make dirty. Oh, here we go. By flatteries, by flatteries. Uh, kolokkaw, kolokkaw in Hebrew. This word means through smoothness and fine promises.

Watch this, that give pleasure to carnality or pleasure to the flesh. And so many in the kingdom, so many in the world are victims of flattery, are victims of Kau, smoothness and fine promises.

We'll follow after smoothness and fine promises over God. We'll follow after homosexual lifestyles, lesbian lifestyles, lifestyles of adultery and whoredoms, because we have been corrupted by flatteries. And God says the devil is a liar. Because you, you want to change the covenant. You even got some idiots out here who are standing flat-footed and saying that they're coming in the name of God and saying we need a new canon, we need a new Bible, we need new ways of living so that the homosexual and lesbian lifestyle or the sinful lifestyle of whores and adulterers can be embraced. The devil is a liar. That's flattery. And many are wickedly being corrupted. Many are going to church where you're supposed to have an opportunity to be changed in the church, but being introduced to homosexuality, lesbianism, and whoremongering inside of the church. And the, the covenant is being polluted. But the Bible says here, when you pollute the covenant and do wickedness Hallelujah! You miss the opportunity to experience the benefits of what God has agreed to perform in your life. Watch this, let's go deeper. But the people that do know their God— their word again is know, yada, y-a-d-a— the people that are intimate, that are up close, that are in agreement with what God has planned for their life. My God, He said the people that are in agreement with the Holy Scriptures, the people who are in agreement with the things that God has thought and is thinking about them, he said the people that do know their God, number 1, shall be strong. Chazak in Hebrew, my God. Which means, that word in Hebrew means you'll be courageous, you'll be strengthened, you'll be able to cure, and help and repair and fortify. Because of your strength, you will prevail. Hallelujah! You will grow and be resolute and never be moved, because you will resolve that no matter what the enemy does, I shall not— uh, I shall not be moved. Just like a tree planted by rivers of water, I shall not be moved. Glory to God! You have to be able to stand strong. Glory to God! And when the wind blows on the right and on the left, there has to be something in you that says, I shall not be moved. I'll stand when everybody else is giving up. The Bible declares that in the last day many would give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. Let Let me tell you something. As we navigate through '22, be very clear, we are moving into the last days like never before. We're moving closer to the end of things, and you got to make up in your mind that in spite of what comes and what others are doing, glory to God, you will not be seduced. Seducers pull you into their way. They pull you into wickedness. This, but I'm here tonight to be a conducer, to pull you through to God, and to encourage you to know God for real and stand. I don't care who's doing what, who signed up for what. I'm telling you something, you're gonna always have it hard. It's gonna— you're gonna always struggle. You're gonna always go through hard days because you refuse to give it all to God. Hallelujah. The way of a transgressor, according to the Bible, is hard. I'm gonna say it one more time. The way of a transgressor is hard.

Oh, I got to go, I gotta go, I gotta go.

Listen, Happy New Year, Happy New Year, Happy New Year. You got to make up in your mind that this year you're gonna— it's gonna be the year you know God for real. Not religion, not church. I ain't talking about you went to church, you read your Bible. You got a bottle of oil, you go through all the religious motion, but you ain't met the King. You never heard his voice, you never interacted with him, you never walked through glory, you never seen the miraculous.

God says he wants you to know him.

And when you know me, I'm gonna unlock things you never seen. You can't depart because others are— he said the people that know that God will be strong. Listen, you will survive.

Only the knowing will survive.

I'm telling you, it's coming to this.

The people are gonna faint and grow weary. Hear the prophetic word.

They're gonna throw in the towel.

It'll be more suicides in 2022 than any year in this—

and oh my God, in the previous decade.

Listen, we We pray now in the name of Jesus that people come to know you, and we ask you to have grace and that that wouldn't happen, that, but that people would fall in love with you. But people will move to suicidal thoughts and they will kill themselves if they don't know him. People will throw in the towel, people will get divorced, they'll give up on marriage because they don't know him. They'll quit their businesses, they'll quit their dreams, they will lose it, they'll turn to drugs and alcohol and illicit lifestyles if they don't know him.

Only the knowing will be strong and will survive. I know you're a preacher, but come on, preacher, with your carnal self, do you know him?

Come on, get—

let's get this right. Let's not play games in the pulpit. Let's not try to, uh, let church be a business so that you doing it just for popularity and just for people to like you. But do you really know him? Come on now. I know y'all don't like this kind of teacher. Happy New Year. The reality is he said you'll be strong and you will do exploits. Michael Woods, I'm closing my iPad. What is exploits? It's heroic deeds or mighty acts. He said the people that know their God will do heroic deeds and mighty acts.

Hallelujah! Want to be a hero?

Get to know him. How do you do that? How do you do heroic deeds and mighty acts? Your hero— your heroism is born out of your purpose. That's why you got to know him, so you get clarity of purpose. Because as you're moving through this earth and in your life in purpose, you become a hero to the people that need your assignment. Are you hearing me tonight? 2022, you gotta be a life jacket to somebody that's drowning. You gotta find them and help them because they need what's on the inside of you. Let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for the opportunity to teach your word tonight. I thank you for a new set of days. I ask you, Lord, to help every person on the world the sound of my voice to know you for real. Not religion, not being churchy, not going through the motions, but God, give them real encounters that they can say, I was with the Lord, I spent time with him, he spoke to me, he touched me, he healed my baby, he healed my wife, he healed my body, he put my marriage back together. People can have a real testimony of knowing I ask you today, God, to bring preachers into deep relationship with you. Bring politicians and governors, give them a deep relationship, open their ears, and even our president, to hear the prophetic word that this nation needs God. Father, in this year to come, give us victory over coronavirus completely. In this year to come, give us victory over poverty completely. We speak against divorce, we speak against suicide, and we declare we are victorious in the name of Jesus. So be it, and thanks be to God. In Jesus' name, amen.
