KEYS TO ACTIVATING YOUR WEALTHY PLACE! | DR. MIKE WOODS SR. | (LIVE REPLAY0

Dr. Mike Woods Sr. teaches that wealth is a spiritual place where God saturates believers with resources. He outlines five keys to activate it: trust God as your source, practice faithful stewardship, unleash the Holy Spirit's creativity, let money work for you, and use wealth to solve problems for others. God wants believers to have at least two commas in their income.
Chapters
We are speaking to two-comma earners, seven-figure earners. Say that with me. Say, I am a seven-figure earner. I am a seven-figure earner. Say, my income, my income has two commas, has two commas. Amen. And we've established, we've established, y'all, y'all, y'all want to say it or And we have established through the word of God that God wants me to have at least 2 commas in my income. Come on, give God praise for that. Hallelujah. Well, a few people happy about it, but it's okay. All right, so today I want you to go to Psalm 66 real quick. We're going to read that. That's not our main text, but we're going to start there. I want to give you some keys this morning to activating your wealthy place, because see, when you live in a wealthy place, you don't worry about what's happening at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Are y'all here? You don't worry about what governments around you are doing. Matter of fact, you concentrate on the Constitution of the Word of God, which tells you what's rightfully yours. Y'all hear? So we don't get worried about big beautiful bills. We trust the big beautiful covenant. Say that with me. Say, I'm not worried about the big beautiful bill because I trust The big beautiful covenant. And that's really how you ought to live, how you want to be living. And if you do that, I promise you, you'll have good results and have good success. So Psalm 66, I'm going to begin reading. I'm going to read one verse here and then we're going to get into this. Glory to God. Well, matter of fact, let me read 12 and 13. Hallelujah. The Bible says, thou hast caused men to ride over our heads, which means you've been through some stuff, right? You've had some trauma, you've had some downtimes in your life. He said, we went through fire. Anybody been through fire? All right, I'm not alone. Glory to God. You went through water. But thou has brought us out into a wealthy place. So watch this. Wealth is a place, it's a location. The word wealth here is a Hebrew word, rahama, and it means to be saturated with the kindness of God. Are y'all here? So God says, I want to saturate you with my kindness. So kindness is not just coming to church feeling good and us having a great service, but the kindness of God is when you have access to all of the resources of heaven and you're able to live like a kingdom citizen for real. Touch your belly and say, I'm saturated with the goodness of heaven. So what we got to do is stop just merely existing, and we got to take every part of salvation. So God— so when you receive the fullness of God, you can actually tap into the wealthy place, and part of that is resources. You shouldn't be operating in lack. We should be operating in more than enough. Listen, you— your God, when he moved into you, he's a king, right? Amen. So when he moved into your life, he came in with his whole kingdom. So not the king ain't just there, the whole kingdom there. So you got access to healthcare, which is miraculous healing. You got access to money and wealth and resources and land and property. Everything that belongs to the king is also yours. Yes. So we got to get into the wealthy place. So I want you to write a few things down before we get started this morning, because I'm gonna give you some keys that's going to be really good to activating this place. So I'm going to activate this place because to activate something means you turn it on. When we came in the building this morning, the lights were turned on, which means the electricity was activated. Matter of fact, we could have left them off and sat there and just begin to pray over the light switches and hope that the lights come on, but that wouldn't have been very practical, right? Right. Because we have available to us a switch that we're already clear works if we— because we paid the bill and we turn the lights on. Are y'all here? Yeah. So you have things available to you to activate what's yours in the word of God. Amen. So many times we shout and dance over the switches. We'll confess and we'll go through the motions, we'll receive teachings, but we never turn the switch on. So when we don't turn the switch on, guess what? We're without lights. All right, we're without the resources. So I'm going to show you how to turn the switch. So write this down. First thing, and, and I might make some of you uncomfortable because we're going to talk about money this morning. I said it Friday, there are two things in church folk don't want to discuss: sex and money. Okay, and you want some of both of them. Y'all look how y'all look. Yes, you do. Yeah, single people, they operate at 70% joy because they think they're gonna have 100% joy when they get married and can have sex. I mean, okay, okay, I speak for myself. I want to— I want some of both, and I want a whole lot of both. Okay, amen. So we— so if you're uncomfortable with this, you might want to tip out now, because in the church we don't want to talk about money, but we need it. You cannot dominate anything without wealth. Yeah, right. Watch this. I'll finish this saying. Matter of fact, this is the first thing I want you to write down: nothing can be established without wealth. Not one thing. Everything on this earth was established because somebody with money established it. Matter of fact, your house was bought because you had what? Some money. Yes. You pay the mortgage every month because you had money, or you get money coming in. Nothing can be established without what? Number 2, money— write it down— and resources are trust. So if you really want to advance as a kingdom citizen and have money and resource, you got to understand God needs to be able to trust you with the money and resource. We'll talk about in a minute how that trust occurs. But I want you to remember, it's a trust. A lot of times our lack of resources— again, no matter how spiritual we are, sometimes the lack of resources connected to God being able to trust you with what he wants to release you. And God said— God has it right over your head, said, I want to give it to you, but I can't trust you with this million. I can't trust you because you'll go to Saks. Are you hearing that? You won't be blessed to be a blessing. Are y'all hearing this? All right, so God says I need to be able to trust you. So number 3, write it down: the quality of money and resources you receive is determined by your ability to manage. Be faithful over a few things, I'll make you ruler over many. Yeah, that's Bible, right? I said it yesterday, God can't really trust you on a high level of managing resources if you don't manage the small resources you have now correctly. And that starts with even how you manage the resources in the kingdom. So I said yesterday, if you don't tithe off $100 So if you get $100 and you don't return your kingdom tax, which is 10%, to God, and you consistently don't do that, how can you expect God to trust you with $100,000? Because if you don't bring him $10, you definitely ain't gonna bring him $10,000. So he gonna keep you right in the $100 until your mind shift. Right. And you understand I need to give God what belongs to him. And that's just a minor part. We talked about a whole lot of stuff yesterday about investing, about stocks, about crypto. We got deep in a lot of things that connect to management. Well, let me move because I don't have time this morning. Number 4, write it down: money and resources demand your creativity to multiply. Touch your belly and say, I'm creative because the Holy Spirit lives in me. That's for real. He's a creator, right? Y'all believe the Bible? The Bible say in the beginning God created heaven and earth. So if God created heaven and earth, and then when you got Holy Ghost— if the Holy Ghost is God in you, guess what? You got the Creator in you. Amen. So you got to pull on the Creator in you so you can create something— watch this— that ain't even in existence right now. Touch your belly again. Say, I'm a creator because the Holy Spirit lives in me. I'm gonna get where I need to be. I don't want to bore you this morning, but watch this. Poverty is a lack of creation. I know somebody said, well, Jesus even said to pour you out what you out with, but he wasn't talking about you. He was talking about the people that are not connected to him who refuse to tap into their creativity. See, you'll have more when you decide you don't want to be a cheap copy of somebody else. You have to be authentic. Yeah, you have to be original. Yeah, and you have to decide that because of my authenticity and the creativity that is in me, I have the ability— watch this— to rule in my sphere of influence. Amen. Watch this. We cannot reap a harvest in fields where we have not sown. That is so good. So watch this. So we're kingdom people, we have to sow in every field of society. Come on now, come on now. So if you're a doctor, you got— if your purpose or assignment is to be a doctor, you have to sow yourself in the medical field so we can reap a kingdom harvest in medicine. Vicki is in the beauty industry and the— and what— and what she— and the health, health and wellness industry. She has to sow her creative creativity and gifts in that industry so she can reap a harvest, so the kingdom can have a harvest in that industry. But you know what we want to do? We want to come to church and have good church. Once again, we got to balance this out. I love church. Again, I'm a church boy, grew up in church. But we got to balance this out. We got to have good church and then show up in the world and sow our gifts into the world where we can impact and shift side. Are we here? Say, I got a wealthy place that I have to activate. Number 5, write it down. Here we go. We talked about this yesterday when we dug deep into stocks and crypto and life insurance, man. We got some stuff, man. But watch this, number 5: money must work for you, not you for it. You, you should work for purpose, not money. I was thinking about it when I was getting dressed this morning. I was thanking God that I have learned how to make my money work for me so I can do my purpose sweatlessly. Wow, y'all need to give every time the door open. Hear me good, because that's how you get blessed. Amen. But guess what? If you don't, it doesn't affect me. Because I've learned, and I ain't gonna— you don't affect me showing up here. I'm not gonna preach no less or no more based on how you give, because I'm here to obey God. Are y'all hearing this? But the reality is I can do that without pressure and stress, whether there's 2 people or 20 people or 50 people in this building, because I've learned how to make my money work for me. Most preachers show up every Sunday reapplying for their job. Let me go on this side right here. I didn't write down these millennials over here. But most of the time, people are, are reapplying for their job, so they show up and reinvent themselves every Sunday so that the people can be pleased with their performance because they need that paycheck. Because if they get fired from their preaching gig, it's pretty much what most preachers got. That's it. But if you learn— and this is my— this is why, Pastor Jeffrey, I'd rather have a demon-possessed church than a deacon-possessed church, because deacons ain't going nowhere. Them deacons hired the pastor. You say one thing them deacons don't like, they gonna kick you out the door. Are y'all hearing this? I cast the devil out. Come on, I deal with the devil, but them deacons, they ain't going nowhere. So you have to learn. All I'm saying is you have to learn to work according to purpose, to what God has designed for you and the assignment that's on your life. We're gonna get into that in a minute. I'm already gonna spend too much time on these. Write this down. Money is not for hoarding but for investing. How many got a savings account? All right, very good. I didn't expect that many hands. Thank God for savings. But watch this, your savings account, you can dump all that money in savings account. And you get like 0.03% interest a year on it. That's hoarding because that money ain't working for you. You got to find creative ways to put that money in a place where it grows while it's sitting there. Are y'all here? Yeah. So it's not important— when you get money, it's not to hold on to it thinking I ain't gonna never get no more. You got to figure out when you get in your hand how to multiply it. All right, come on, come on, let's go, let's go. Because if I stay on this stuff, I'll be here too long. I just want to give you this. Number 7, watch this. We read the text yesterday. You will give account, you'll give account to God of what you did with the money and resources God blessed you with. So when God blesses you, your money always has a purpose, and you got to make sure you use that money for that purpose. I said it yesterday, we are blessed to be a blessing. Amen. All right, when you give money purpose before you get it, money finds you. Last one: money and resources are the measure of your— watch this— faithfulness. I said it and I'll say it again: you be faithful over few, he'll make you ruler over many. Now let's jump— let's get into these keys. Go back to Psalms. This time we're going to 16, and we're going to read verse 1 first. Say it with me again while you're turning there. Say, I got a wealthy place that I have to assess. I need you to believe that. And remember, wealth is to be saturated with the resources and the goodness of God. Most people will say they're saturated because we get drunk in the spirit. But after you get out the spirit, where's the manifestation? What's the result of that in your personal life? Come on, let's balance it so the world can— because we talked about how you have to be visible to the world so they can— the world can't see in the spirit, so they need to see visually what God has done. They need to see how God has worked in your life. Are y'all hearing this? Because again, that's the whole goal, right? To get the world to God. So if I'm in the world, they need to see what God is doing through me and in me. Yes. So Psalm 16:1, the Bible says this is a mikam of David. And miktam, this word literally means, um, in times of uncertainty. David wrote this because he was uncertain about what was going on. Saul was trying to kill him. Why? Because he had been anointed to be king, and Saul was like, no, ain't nobody taking my throne, right? We gonna kill this joker before he becomes king. And David writes this in a cave. He was in a cave called Adullam, which literally is defined within how the word is said— Adullam, a dull place, a weary place. He could not see his way forward. Are y'all hearing this? He didn't know how he was coming out. Anybody ever been there? You ever been in a place where you didn't know how you were going to get through? You ever been in situations where you prayed and you prayed and you got to the point where you figure, well, maybe I'll just stop praying about this because God ain't moved yet? I've been there. But in times of uncertainty, you got to know that God will never leave you nor forsake you. So he writes in this first verse, he says, preserve me, O God, for in thee do I put my trust. Let's break it down. The word— so this is how we activate wealth. Yeah, come on now. This is how we get in the wealthy place. First of all, when things are rough and they don't look good, God is teaching you you're not the source. He's teaching you he's the source. Okay, I'm not telling you something somebody told me. I'm telling you what I know. I've been to a place where I had made 7 figures, 8 figures, and lost all of it. Y'all ain't gonna talk to me here because I was stupid, didn't know how to handle the money. I was just spending money like crazy, had no sense of investing. But watch this, I had to realize, and God taught me a lesson: you ain't the author of this. And I need you to know, I don't need your help to do nothing. I'm the one that preserves you. The word preserve is shamar in Hebrew, which means to keep, protect, or guard. So what you need is God to protect your investment. And your investment, that your money is your gift. Because sometimes when you're going through, you, you want to give up on the gift. I've got to a point I ain't prophesying no more, I don't want to preach no more. I've had so many hard times in my life and I faced up, said, Lord, I ain't doing this no more. But it's the preservation of God— are y'all here— that keeps you when you want to quit. I ain't got no people in here that's been through stuff that's made— what? Listen, I have thrown in the towel. I said, God, I'm done, I'm finished, I'm going to a 9 to 5. I ain't got time for people, I ain't got time for being hurt, I ain't got time for trauma. But you know what? Every time I threw in the towel, God threw it back. Y'all ain't got to say nothing to me here. Let me show you what that looks like. This is me saying, God, I'm done. Okay, God caught the towel. God, I'm not doing this no more, but every time I try to walk away, he throws it back and said, I'm the one that's keeping you, I'm the one that anointed you, I'm the one that called you. I throw it in again. He said, no, I'm throwing it back to you. I'm guarding this because what's in you Ain't about you, it's about the people you gotta touch. It's about the lives you gotta change. It's about the ways you gotta make. It's about the blessing you gotta be. Somebody shout, preserve me! Because I'm telling you, this road to wealth is not gonna be easy. It's gonna be tough, it's gonna be hard, it's gonna be rough. You have some challenges. To get to this place of saturation. There's going to be times, my God, where doors will get closed in your face. There have been times where I thought I was running where I needed to be, and soon as I thought I was there, bam, get knocked right back down. Because God says it's not you, this is about me. So you get to a point where you have no choice. But to put your trust. Watch what the psalmist David said: In you I put my trust. Not my bank account, not my contracts, not open doors, not business deals. In thee do I put my trust. So when you get laid off, who you gonna call? Jesus. In this economy, watch this, when the government is clearing house of jobs, who you gonna trust? You gotta deliberately put your trust in God. Because I don't care how much you complain about Trump, you can't kick him out. He there now. Yeah, yeah. So what you gonna do is the question. Yeah, who you gonna trust? You gotta know your daddy has resources that a job can't provide, and he's giving you a creativity in you where you can do something that'll pay you 10 times what you were making. Amen. Come on, but you got to trust him. Yes, Lord. Say, in him I put my trust. It's interesting that the greenback, if you read it on the front of it, it says, in God we trust. There's a time that the nation even realized that we can't do economics without God. So the founding fathers said, let's put this on the money, because we don't trust in this, we trust God. Are y'all here? Jump down to verse 11. I'm almost through, believe it or not. God is moving. Verse 11. Glory to God. The Bible said, thou will show me the path of life. So this is an important key to activating your wealthy You need to see life— hear me— through God's eyes. Say that one more time. I need to see life through God's eyes. In fact, you need to see yourself the way God sees you. Cuz a lot of time we buy into a definition and perspective of ourselves based on what other people have defined us as. So I got to see myself the way God sees me. You can't do that without relationship. So he says, thou will show me. Somebody say, show me. Show me. So remember, David is in this cave. He don't— he doesn't know a way forward. First of all, it takes a lot of maturity, Murdis, for us when we get in the position where we don't know our way forward to actually admit, I don't know my way forward. When you get in a situation, even a good leader, even can be humble enough that when they get to a situation, I don't know how to lead you past here. Most leaders are so arrogant they never will say that. But you gotta know when you have run out. He said, thou will show me, God, you will show me. It says to me that relationship with God is real. Can I submit to you, God is real. He can speak to you, he can talk to you, he can show you things. He said, thou will show me. In other words, and he's saying in this tone like, there's something I don't know. There's something seemingly you're keeping from me, but you will show me. Yada, Y-A-D-A in Hebrew, which means you allow me to see through your eyes. You allow me to be intimate with how I move forward. The path of life— the word path is in Hebrew, and it means the design or the architecture, the blueprint. For those who were here yesterday, of my life. Watch this. Your life already has a blueprint. Your life already has a design. So it's important that you see the blueprint. And inside of— because watch this, let me give you an example. If you build a house, first thing you got to do is hire an architect. Somebody say architect. Architect is one that designs buildings, homes. Guess what? An architect is a builder. He never gets dirty, but he is the ultimate builder. Yeah, because he designs and builds the entire property on paper. His authority is so solid that once he finishes, you take those plans, the design, to the city government. They look at the building and guess what they do? They put two stamps on it. Finished and approved, which means those plans are the plans that must be used to build that property. Which means you can't be halfway through and say, I want to add on a room, I want to add a pool, I want to add a garage, I want to do something different with the living room. No, if you have to do that, you got to go back to the architect. And he had to redesign the plans and you have to get them approved again. Yeah, can I tell you, your life has plans. And a lot of times we'll start building it if it gets harder, if the construction gets a little too messy. Yeah, well, if the construction gets a little too loud, we go back and say, okay, I want to build this. This is tough, this is hard, it's too much going on here. But that's what construction looks like. My daddy was a contractor. He owned his own— he still owns his own construction company. And a lot of times we would go on those jobs and everything was loud, dusty everywhere, dust flying. And that's what your life looks like while you're building. And often the owners would put signs up where work was going on that says, excuse the mess. Yeah, yeah, I'm under construction. So what you gotta learn how to do is instead of complaining about what your life is looking like while you're building, you need to put a sign on your chest and say, it may not look like you want it to look now, but excuse the mess, I'm under construction. I'm building the life that God has called me to live. So don't give up when it gets messy. Keep building, because eventually you see what was on the paper. You see what you envisioned. And David said, okay, I've been doing this my own way. Yeah, I need you to show me what this is about. Show me the design. Show me the plan so I can have sweatless victory, sweatless success. Yes, yes. So design says— say I have a life by design because I have been assigned to a specific task. Now watch this. Your assignment is specific to you. Getting in the wealthy place, moving by design, aligns itself with discovering your assignment. Watch this: your assignment is not your decision. I know we would like 3. I mean, if it was up to me, I'd be doing what Pastor Jerry— I'd be saved, playing the instrument, just coming to church, paying my tithe, and doing something else. I wouldn't be doing none of this, cuz I mean, that's— I love what I do because it's my purpose in my life, but it ain't what I personally would have chose. Are y'all hearing me? Cuz there are too many things I have to go through to be— cuz what people see, whether I'm here or whether I'm on the road somewhere preaching, and what God has done in my life over these last 30 6 years. What people see is a product of surviving trial and tribulation. I could have left that somewhere else and just played. Are y'all hearing this? But God wouldn't even let me. He kept me in one key. I learned A-flat and I can't do nothing else. Every time I try, he'd be like, what you doing? And I guess he won't let me do it because he know if I learn it, I'm gonna say, okay, I'm gonna get the mic to him, so anybody. Because I said, no, dude, just give up because you're not gonna learn that. Are y'all hearing this? My momma tell you, I was young, we would go to church places, they would have nobody playing the piano, I slide over and start playing. Couldn't play a lick. You lost the ball in the wrong key. Listen, your assignment, yeah, is authentic to you. It's not your decision, it's your discovery. And if you want to take it to the workplace, this is how you get trusted, because the wealth is for the assignment. It's not for jets. Are y'all here? Jets, okay, if you got the kind of itinerary you need to travel. Because if the president of Coca-Cola can have a jet, certainly a man or woman of God can have a jet. A CEO of a kingdom company should have. So I'm not knocking that, but what I'm saying, if that's your priority, that's wrong. The wealth is for your assignment so that it changes people. Are y'all here? When you get that, wealth comes easy. When you can be trusted with what you discover, because again, it ain't your decision. You got to discover what God already decided. Yeah, Jesus. Are y'all here? Your assignment— and I'm gonna run through these quickly— basically has 5 components. In every assignment, number 1, there's problems. You got to understand this because You can't assess and be saturated with the wealth if you're not in the right assignment. Can I, can I share something with you? Where God guides, he provides. Yeah, amen. All the time. I'm gonna say that again. Where God guides, he provides. So if it's God's assignment, yeah, you He ain't going to leave you out here trying to do it without the resources to get it done. So every assignment, number one, has problems. Say problems. Problems. Your assignment, by definition, for real, is the problem you were created to solve. Everybody in this room, you have a solution to to a problem in the world in your belly. That's your assignment. When you discover that, watch this, wealth comes easy because people pay you money for what they can get from you that they can't get nowhere else. Miss Tonya's a great caterer, a great cook. People pay her through contract to get the food she provides because of how she provides. Are y'all hearing this? You've got to discover what you have to give that people will pay you for. The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just. All of my clients— as a matter of fact, 98% of my clients in business are not saved. Do you think I turn their money down? The Bible said the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just. I'm a— I don't— if it's a casino that called me, if it's a worldly artist that called me, if a celebrity that called me, I know that's living in sin. Guess what? I'm gonna sign them contracts and take their money and be a light to them while I'm serving. Are y'all hearing me? You cannot operate in this realm that believes that because you're saved stuff just gonna happen to you without doing something. Your assignment is the problem you're created to solve. I'm gonna say it again in case y'all don't get it: money is what you get when you give somebody something they cannot get without you. Yeah, amen. So your lack of money is your— again, your lack of creativity. So you got to figure out what you can give people that they'll pay you for. That's right, that's right. Test the limits in your life. Create something. Write a book. Glory to God. Glory to God. Amen. Make an invention. Let's try this: read a book. That one, because you might find a discovery of who you are if you read the book. Black people have this proclivity. They ever buy a book and never read it and be laying hands on it. Lord, I absorb this knowledge in the name of Jesus. That knowledge ain't coming in your head. You want to open that book and read it. Every assignment— number 2, let me get through these— has people. You cannot operate or function in your assignment effectively without people. Y'all here? You can't do this in isolation. You need people on your team. You need people that need your assignment. Watch this, you need people to help train you to be better at the assignment. The moment you think you know everything, you missed it, and you'll never maximize your assignment. You'll never be the very best and optimize who you are because you have refused leadership or mentorship. A lot of times you got— and out here, man, you got a lot of people saying they are coach, they are mentor. Well, let me tell you something, a person can't teach you how to do something they ain't never done, right? First, can't teach you about making a million dollars for real. If they ain't made it, I know. Okay, yeah, it's the truth anyway, because all you got is the knowledge. You don't have the experience. You don't have the commas in your bank account to prove it. Like I said, I sit at the feet of people who have made a billion, because there's a— I'm not listening to no millionaire. For what? I did that. Reality is, I mean, I'm trying to scale to a billion. So I sit and listen. Like I said, this past week I spent 12 hours, almost a day, listening to billionaires teach because I need to learn how to scale. I don't have that knowledge, and these are proven people who have done it. So you need to get in rooms where you're not the smartest person in the room. I said it quietly, if you're in the room where you're always the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room. You need to get in rooms where you're learning, where you're growing, where you're expanding. So when it's your time to impart to others, you got what you need to give it to them. Oh my God. Okay. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. Y'all with me? Every assignment not only has people, every assignment has places, geographical locations that you have to go to. To do your assignment. Can I submit to you, where you are is just as important as who you are. You can be trying to do the wrong— the assignment in the wrong place, and it never works. Are y'all here? Say, location is important. There are places you got to learn and grow. There are places you have to find yourself in that, that are feeding grounds for the assignment. Every assignment has a geography, a place that is needed and that has already been prepared for who you are. Wow. Fourthly, in every assignment there are particulars, which means there's information that's connected to the assignment. Yeah, I said it Friday, information breeds confidence. The difference between failure and success is information. Yeah, so you got to get the information. My wife again makes the best cake on earth. I've eaten cake all— she makes the best cake on Earth, period. And I'm not saying that because she's my wife, because she know if it wasn't good, I would tell her. You would not be here. Yes, I would tell her. She know for real, that's the kind of relationship we have. I'll be honest, honey, this ain't right. What you did with that, this— But honestly, best cake on Earth. But the difference in her success is going to be her constantly getting the information on how to scale to the next places. So you can't despise learning. Whenever you got an opportunity that somebody's trying to give you learning, you should get excited about it. Yeah, but you know what we'll run to? We'll We'll run to hype before we run to education. Ooh, got real quiet there. Yes, sir. Because we like entertainment. Yeah. But we need the particulars and the specifics so we can carry our assignment effective. This is the key to activating your wealthy place. And finally, every assignment has provision. The word provision is like any other word— pro-life, pro-choice— God— which means you're for life or for choice. God is for the vision. What is vision? Vision is God's optimal reality for your future. So God has an optimal desire for your future. He has a reality that he's designed you to live in. And watch this, it's based in the word of God. It's not living beneath your privilege. It's not living from paycheck to paycheck. It's not every month you got more mouth than money. That's not God's will, absolutely, because he's a provider. I mean, just think about your natural father. If your natural father wasn't there, then think about your mother. When you grew up in the house, whatever they provided and however they provided it, they provided. Yeah, you ate. You have— it might not even been the best roof, but you had a roof. They did what they had to do because they were motivated by your little mouth being there that needed to be fed. Watch what happened. They, they got up every day, saw you. It created a motive. The root of the word motive is mot. This word here was like motor. So that motive turned on their motor. And while they may have not wanted to go to work, they went because they had a motive that turned on the motor. They gave them motivation because they needed to take care All right, your Father is motivated to provide for you, but you just got to be in the assignments where you release it. So that's the key. And I want to really make you think this morning, because at the end of the day, if there's lack in any area of your life, you got to line these keys up. Yes, sir. The next part of the verse says, he said, thou will show me the path of life In thy presence, yeah, it's fullness of joy. So here's the second key to activating it: Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, whatever you call him. The presence of God is a peace that you have to consistently have in your life to experience the wealthy place. And let me tell you what presence is, because we think when we come to church and worship and God comes in, we're limited in our definition of presence. Literally, the word presence means the residue of intelligence. All right, look at the word pre-sense, sense, intelligence. So what God does when his presence comes in, even in the service, and you feel him, he touches you, that's not the end of what he wants to do. Amen. There should be a residue of his intelligence that superimposes itself upon you, that causes you to act, behave, move in a different way. Watch this, think about yourself in a different away when you leave a building that says we house the presence, because his presence is always with you. You just got to embrace the residue. Watch this. I mean, I stay in the house with my wife. I'm always in her presence, but I can be in another room and she'd be in another part of the house. Now, does that mean I'm not in her presence? No, I'm not right physically with her at that time. We're in the same space sharing presence. And because I know her, if she's cooking, I already know if I'm working on something, she's gonna call me. So I don't even have to worry about whether or not I'm gonna know when she gets through. I can focus on what I'm doing, and she gonna call and say go this way. Cause I'm in her presence. That's a residue of our connection. You got to depend on God like that. When you can't see him, you got to trust him. When you don't think he's working, you got to know he's working. You ever been driving and see those signs that said men working? Most times you see them signs, you don't see the men nowhere. I'm like, they done messed all this stuff up and ain't nobody out here. Am I the only one that complains about that traffic slowdown? Ain't no men but the side men working. Well, but if you keep driving that way, before long what they were working on, it manifests right before your eyes. Yeah, same thing with God. Matter of fact, there's a big sign sitting over your head right now that says God working. And you may not see where he's working, and you may feel he's abandoned you, but I want to tell somebody this morning, God is working. And you keep walking with him, you're gonna see the manifestation of what he's working on. I, I didn't just say it. Say it with me. Say God is working. Now let's just really dive into this real quick, a little bit. Why is it so important? Why is Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost, working in your life, you having a relationship with him, so important? Watch this. Because he knows all of the details of the plan. There's not one detail about your life Holy Spirit doesn't know. So you should fellowship with him every day. Which means you shouldn't miss a day talking to God, because when you do that, you're saying, God, I got this, I can do this on my own. And you're left to your own devices. Are y'all here? You can't be left to your own devices. You need him. Say, I need God. Okay, let's go real quick, real quick, because I think I need to unpack this a little bit. Go to Matthew 3. I'm almost done. Matthew 3. Matthew 3:11. The Bible says this because we don't understand that the Holy Ghost, when he comes into our life— first of all, he's not wind. He's not fire. He is not tongues. He is not gifts. He is God in us. I just need you to understand that all those other things are manifestations of him, but he is actually God. That's powerful. So when you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost You're receiving God in you. Yeah, probably better say, God is in me. That'll give you some confidence that can't nothing stop you. The Bible says here, I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. So God says, because you repented, John is saying here, I'm putting you down in water. So some people get stuck right here, right? Because, you know, the Baptist Church, got to come down and get baptized. We're in— we— baptism is important. The traditional apostolic church, the Jesus-only church, you got to go down in Jesus' name. I went just in case. God let me get taken down in all that. I got bent down in Father, Son, Holy Ghost. I've been down in Jesus' name. So guess what? We ain't even got to talk about that no more. I've been down in both. I'm serious. But some of you stuck there. But the water is because you repented. It's a presentation to the world that this person is saved and with God now, which is great. But then he said, there is coming one mightier than I. Whose shoes are not worthy to latch. He shall baptize you with Holy Ghost and with fire. Watch this, that's, that's two different baptisms. First of all, the, the word baptism is baptizo in Greek, which means to be submerged until the result is achieved. Baptizo is a commercial word. So if a sheep shearer took wool off a sheep, they would take the wool to a red dye pen if they wanted a red, uh, garment, and they would dye the garment, but they have to baptize it in the red dye until that white wool was red. Now, to be baptized in Holy Ghost and fire Yeah, two different baptisms. God continually baptizes us in the Holy Ghost until the result is achieved. You, you need to let him keep baptizing you until you have all 9 fruit of the Spirit working seamlessly in your life, until all 9 gifts of the Spirit work when they need to. And watch this, until you act like God, talk like God, receive God in every way. So you ought to be baptized every day in the Holy Ghost. Y'all hearing this? But then he said, and with fire. Yeah, that ain't Holy Ghost. If I ask any of you, who is God? One of y'all will say, our God is a consuming fire. So what God does, he baptizes you not only in Holy Ghost, but then you get baptized in the Father. And now all of that stuff in us that's not like God, all of that negative stuff, that trauma, that pain, that hurt, those sinful habits and sinful ways, he baptizes you. God, God. Fire until you walk like him, talk like him. He burns up poverty mentality. He burns up stinking thinking. He burns up negativity. He burns up rape. He burns up molestation. He— oh God— he burns up every failure of your past. So So you are like him. I wish I had 10 people to give God praise for the consuming fire. Open your mouth and shout about it. Have you burned up some stuff? Oh God, thank you for the fire. Thank you for fire. I got somebody right there to say thank you for fire. Thank you for burning it up. Hallelujah! God didn't save you for you still to hold on to what you were. He saved you so you can be a new creature, so he can do a new thing. Thank God for fire! Thank you, Jesus. Finally, finally, it's a fire that never goes out. It's a fire that burns forever. Ezekiel said it's just like fire shut up in my bones, and the fire won't go out. I got to get out of here, cuz I'm about to lose my mind. Hallelujah. Cuz I look, I look back over my life, and I know there's stuff I used to do The things I used to be, the things I used to say out of my mouth, I know it was nothing but the fire of God that burned up fornication, that burned up adultery. No one got to talk to me. I know it was the fire of God that burned up everything in me that didn't please God. Somebody shout fire! Let me tell you something. Don't get discouraged when people don't recognize you because they don't understand the experience. They still try to hold you to being the person you were before the fire. Oh God, have mercy. But I'm telling you, the life after fire is a life in God. Y'all be seated, please, please. That cannot be substituted by anything else. Hallelujah. Father, Lord, thank you, Jesus. Thank you. Give you praise. So, so He said, thou will show me the path of life. In thy presence is fullness of joy. So God has to burn off all that other stuff, baptize you in Holy Ghost, so your joy will be full of— hear this. The word joy, think what you think, it's not just smiling and happy. This word joy is chayah, which is C-H-A-Y-A-H in Hebrew, and it means profit. P-R-O-F-I-T. Not like prophecy. Profit. Ask a businessman to define profit. He's going to tell you what's left over after the expenses of the business have been paid and covered. The joy is what you ought to be receiving after the fire. You ought to be getting some profit out of all of your prayer, some profit out of all of your worship, some profit out of all your Bible study and church going. You want to begin some profit out of all that hell you've been through. God says that what he's saying is, I want to give it to you so you can wave it in the devil's face and say, look, you should have killed me when you had a chance. You should have killed me when I was on whatever. You should have killed me when I was alive. You should have killed me when I was living in sin. You should have killed me when I walked according to the flesh and not according to— oh, I wish I had somebody that's made up in their mind that the The devil should have killed you while he had you locked down in his way of doing things, but he messed up and let you get baptized in the Holy Ghost. He messed up and let you find out who you really are in God. Somebody say, fullness of joy. Fullness of Prophet. Oh God, he said that. So this how I activate through my assignment. Say my assignment. Say Holy Ghost. Now watch this. He said, in thy presence fullness show, and at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore. All right, y'all ready for this? Word pleasure, please, and urer, which is a French word which means to extract. In the Hebrew, the word pleasure means to release. What's rightfully yours in its fullness. You got to believe that what God has rightfully for you in his fullness is huge. God never thinks small toward you. Jeremiah 29:11 says, well, I know the thoughts that I think. Now watch this, mahakavash is think. I know the big things I'm dreaming about for you. So if you're a child of God, there's something big he's dreaming. Oh yeah. Oh my God, I just need you to hear this. God is not in the business of demoting you when you come to him. He wants to increase you. And I told you before, something is not increasing you, it will ultimately decrease you. And you got to decide you're going to allow God to increase you with his pleasure. It's his pleasure to open his right hand and release to you his kingdom. The Bible says it's his pleasure to give you the kingdom. Y'all read that? That's in the Bible. It's his pleasure to give the kingdom to you. He's pleased for you to have his stuff. I got to go. I got to get out of here, cuz I'm going to tell— I'm drunk for real right now. I got to go. Listen, it's his pleasure to release the kingdom to you. Do y'all see how big that is? Now you see why he got to trust you, because he says, I want to give the kingdom on earth to you. You ought to be ruling in this earth. So how do I get his right hand open? How do I activate the wealthy place? Through my assignment, through Holy Ghost. Yeah, it's the third most important thing to activating wealthy place. Y'all ready? Your seed. You have something to give. Your assignment is somebody needs you. Say, somebody needs me. Holy Ghost is somebody leading you. Your seed is you have something. Remember I told you, you gotta sow into the world so we can reap a harvest in the world. You cannot reap where you don't sow. Yeah, there's a promise that we will reap what we have not sown, but it has nothing to do with you not sowing seed. That's God saying, I'm gonna favor you because of your obedience. But as a man thinks— we talked this yesterday— so is he. So you got to start looking at seed, whether it's your talent, your time, or the treasure. You gotta look at that as I'm giving something to God. Watch this, to open his right hand. You sow to receive. Yeah, man. Yes, yes. Matter of fact, if you don't sow, you don't even really have a right to expect harvest, right? Oh boy, right. It just got quiet real fast. Because this calls us to responsibility. Because at the end of the day, you can't produce apples if you don't put apple seed in the ground. Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he reap. Your harvest is always proportionate to the seed. You know why it's easy for some people to sow $100? Because that's what they give all the time. Because when the harvest come back, guess what? You have more seed than fruit. That's right. Let me give you an example. If you saw a watermelon seed, the average watermelon harvest is about 300 watermelons. But you pop open a watermelon, it's about 100 seeds in one watermelon. But if you multiply that 100 times 300, you got more seed to sow again than you have fruit. Here's the problem: many times our wealth is not released because we eat our seed. Oh, we discard our seed. God will be speaking to you to give a $1,000 offer and you will ignore it. It's okay, I ain't giving you $1,000 because you know what I can do with this. But do you know what God can do with it? Yeah. Are y'all hearing this? Sowing is taking what you have and turning it into what you need. The word seed is the Greek word sperma, which is where we get the English word sperm, which means to set life in motion. When seed is released, you're setting in motion the thing you're sowing to come back to you. If you never release it, it'll never come back. You want his hand to open so that pleasures are constantly coming out. Lord, I knew when I got to this point we weren't gonna shout much, but this is the part that gets the blessing to you. You gotta be an active participant in your breakthrough, in your harvest. So you want two covers, you have to start sowing like you want two covers. Are y'all hearing this? You gotta start trusting because it's a trust, right? So if you want God to release big things, he said, God, I trust you for two commas. That's okay. Well, what can I trust you to do? Can he trust you to be sacrificial? Come on, somebody. A lot of times we wonder why the preachers get up in big meetings, they be trying to raise the money. For them conferences. And they said, we need 20 people to give $1,000. But if people were mature, they wouldn't have to do that if they listen to the Spirit. Listen, the Bible said, as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. That's right. We want to hear God in everything else except giving. God told me to wear green. God told me to wear blue. God told me to put on brown shoes. But what did he tell you to give? Because that's not— that's not a matter of prayer. But you got to make this a priority. It's all about what you want. If you want to activate the wealthy place You got to become a giver. You got to participate in God's exchange system of giving and receiving. And guess what happens when you do that? Money starts looking for you. Hallelujah! Property starts looking for you. Business deals are looking for you. I am what people call me to do business that I can handle. Amen. But you know what, I can't take all of them, and I'm thankful for that kind of problem. But you know why? Because I'm a giver. Amen. Because I'm in the exchange system and stuff is always looking for me. Let me give y'all a quick testimony, and I'm done. I was in Brooklyn, New York, 20 years ago preaching, and I had prayed for everybody, laid hands on this one lady and prophesied to her. I said, you just got back from the doctor and got the diagnosis that changed your life, and right now you standing in front of me in fear. I said, but the Lord is healing your body of the cancer. He's healing your body of everything the doctor I said, in this moment, I said, go back to your doctor, tell them to take your blood work, and before this week is out, bring the report back to the church. You are healed. She, she rejoiced. She went to the doctor and came back to the church and said, I gotta testify. I told her, Pastor, Pastor, let her testify. She said, I had my blood done again like the man of God said. What they found the first time, it's not there now. What is that? God is good, right? But then she said, I really wish I could bless the man of God, and I just don't have any money to give him, but I'mma pray about how to sow into his life. All right. The next night I went back to preach revival. After church, she came up to me and handed me keys. This was in Durant, Mississippi. I showed Felicia the house the woman gave me because we sold it since then, but the woman gave me a house, the biggest house in Durant. She was living in New York, the house was empty. She said, I ain't got nothing to give you, but I'm gonna give you this house. She said, it's in Durant, you living in Mississippi, go there and live, do what you want to do. I'm gonna transfer the papers to you, it's yours. And watch this, she sold that. Y'all know how high it is to live in New York. She had bought a house in New York, and within 6 months, God blessed her to end her whole mortgage. I mean, she owed like $300,000 on this house, but God eliminated the debt totally because she obeyed and sold. Now that was no cohabitation. I didn't tell her, I, I need you to give $1,000 because you got— I didn't do that. Guess what? I would have missed my blessing because what I got was higher value. Are y'all here? I'm just trying to show you what happens when you participate in God's exchange system. God has more than you on any day. He said he would supply all your needs. I says according to his riches. So you got to stop looking at your bank account. Yes, sir. And look at his. That's right. You only can assess that when you are a sower, because it's his pleasure. Yeah, when you sow, not just your money but your time. Yeah. Sometimes it's work for people to come to church on Sunday, but you know you plant a seed when you serving the Lord. Yeah. Are y'all hearing this? Yes, sir. When you witness to somebody on your job, in the store, yeah, you're sowing time. Yeah. So your skills and your ability, have a sense of gratitude to give, give to people. Yeah, that's right. It always comes back. This is my last scripture, Luke 6:38. He said, give and it shall be given unto you. So wait a minute, guess he didn't say pray, he didn't say speak in tongues, he said give. And nothing wrong with praying, speaking in tongues, but when you get through, if you want something to be given back to you, the principle is give. He said give and it shall be given unto you how good measure. Does that work? Let's start. Good measure. The word good there, but now it's profit again. Profitable measure. A profitable metron, which means when you look at it, it'll be measured as more than you put in. That's right. It'll be a profitable measure. Watch it. To press that he going to take the profit, press it down, and make room for more. That's right, man. And then he said, I'mma run you over. Come on, the reason why he going to run you over, because you got to bless somebody else. He said, this is going to happen, men are going to give this to you. So God will use people to bless you in a way that your cup runs over. Everybody stand up. Hallelujah! Glory to God! You play softly, Pastor. Hallelujah! I need everybody to say this with me, cuz you have what you say. Say, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, Say, I receive the word. And first of all, I believe you have a wealthy place prepared for me, and that means I will be saturated with your resources, with kingdom prosperity. Say, in the name of Jesus, I'll never be broke. Another day in my life. So my cup shall run over. Say, in Jesus' name, I decree and declare my wealthy place is activated. I will walk in my assignment, the problem I was created to solve, as the Lord give me clarity on that assignment as it will release wealth into my life. Say, in the name of Jesus, I will fellowship daily with Holy Ghost, and I will allow you, God, to lead me, to guide me into truth. About money, about wealth, about provision. Say, in the name of Jesus, baptize me in Holy Ghost all over again. Say, I receive it now in Jesus' name. Say, Lord, baptize me in fire. Let my soul— say, baptize me fire to consume everything in me that's not like you, in the name of Jesus. Say, Father, I declare I will sow as I am led of the Spirit of God. Say, I believe whatever I sow, that shall I reap. Say, in the name of Jesus, I declare I will sow my way into two commas in my income. Say, I declare I am a millionaire or better, in Jesus' name. I'm wealthy, I'm rich, I'm blessed to be a blessing, and I I speak to money and I say, money, come to me now! Money, come to me now in Jesus' name! If you believe what you said, open your mouth and shout! Come on, shout about it! Shout like you already got them $1 million. Shout like you got business and contracts. Shout like your debt is eliminated. Shout like doors are open. Shout! Yes, God! Yes, God! Yes, God! Listen, while you're standing, while you're standing, with every head bowed, I feel Jesus in this place. We give you the glory, God. We give you the honor. With every head bowed, please, while you're yet standing, and every eye closed, no one looking around, please be obedient. If you're in this building today and you do not know Jesus, if you say, Michael Woods, if I died right now, my business is not straight, and I need to get my life together. I believe God has a wealthy place for me, and I want to start by giving my heart to you, God. This is not about joining the church. This is about connecting to the kingdom and changing your life. So if you're in this room, you're on your own. With every head bowed and every eye closed, please be obedient. Every saint in the building praying. If you're in this room today and you said, Michael Woods, I need Jesus in my life, I want you to just raise your hand high. Every head bowed, every eye closed. No judgment, we all came this way. You said, I want Jesus in my life, I want Jesus in my life. If you die today, you know you will go to hell. You say, I want Jesus, I want to give my life to Jesus. I see those hands, I see those hands. This is, this is nothing to be embarrassed about. I've been here, I've done that. God saved my soul, and before I take it back, I'll add more to it. Jesus is real and he's been good to me, and his love is sound, and he wants to be good to you. Secondly, if you're in this building and maybe you, you know, you knew God before door and you left. The Bible said God is married to the backsliders. He's married to the backsliders. If you say today, I want to come back to God, just lift your hands. I need to reconnect. I need to get my assignment in order. And maybe you're here, you don't have the baptism of the Holy Ghost. You hear us speaking in tongues and you say, I want to be filled with the Holy Spirit, because guess what, he's an important key to activating wealth. You say, I want to know him for real, I want the prayers of the Spirit to flow out of my life. If that's you, lift up your hand. I want to pray for you today. Say, I want to be filled with the Holy Ghost. I want to be filled with the Holy Spirit. I see those hands, I see those hands with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. The Bible said the apostles laid hands on them and they received the gift of the Holy Ghost. I decree and declare today, if you desire to receive it, as hands are laid upon you, you receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost. If you lifted your hand for any one of those things, please be obedient. I'm going to ask you to take the next step and just get out of your seat and meet me at this altar, because we've all had to come this way. If you say, Apostle, I— listen, I want prayer, I want to receive it. But you know what, so that you're not embarrassed, I'm gonna just do this as a group. So everybody say this with me. Say, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, say, I repent of my sin. So Lord, I believe you died and rose again. So come in my heart, live in me, take control of my life, in In Jesus' name. Say, I receive the blood sacrifice you made for me, and I declare today I am saved. Say, Lord, fill me with the Holy Ghost, with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Say, in Jesus' name, I receive it now. Amen and amen. If you've You did that, I want you to praise God. Come on, you're saved! Hallelujah! Reveal! I need y'all to rejoice with those that gave their life. Come on, rejoice! I saw you lift your hand and I saw you made the confession. Come on, give God praise for salvation! The Bible say heaven rejoice at the coming of one. Thank you. Jesus. Hallelujah. You can be seated. You can be seated. We're going, we're going home. I pray y'all blessed today. Were y'all blessed? We give you praise. We give you glory. Stand up and go. And just lift your hands right where you are. Father, I thank you for the way forward. God said while this door closed, God said it was just kick you into a new gear of passion and faith toward your business. And the works of your hands. God said new ideas are about to come to you even before this year is out. God said he's going to release two new ideas to you, and God said he's going to show you where the funding is. By January, you'll have funding for your business, because God said the door is always open. The way has already been made. And God said, I'm gonna prove to you I am Jireh, I am your provider. And I heard him say today, he said, that thing you talked to me about today, the liberty happens now. And God said, even as I'm talking, he's setting you free, he's removing the Zion. And God said you shall never return to it again. And I cast out the desire And I send you to dry places. You have no place in her life. She about to pursue Rabbi. You cannot control her another day. He who the Son sets free is free indeed. Yes, you got to go to them.
