Kingdom Success, Part 3: Success & Prosperity | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. | 16 Jan 2025

Dr. Mike Woods Sr. teaches that success means discovering your life's purpose through relationship with God, not chasing wealth or status. He argues a learner's mindset is essential for 2025, and that crisis itself is a tool for developing creativity and character. Prosperity starts in the mind: a poverty mindset yields lack, while alignment with God's purpose yields growth.

I want to dive right into the heart of this because I believe that I need to maximize, uh, my time tonight. I'm so grateful, uh, for all of you. Glory to God, we are eager and thirsty to learn, you know, the most powerful position you could take this year in 2025. Is the position of a learner. Glory to God. And I promise you, if you take that position, uh, what you learn, what you receive in your area of destiny and purpose, uh, in the exactness of God's plan for your life, I promise you, family, you are going to be blessed beyond measure on so many levels. Because you choose— hear me— to trust God with learning. The Bible says this, watch this: we'll be ever learning and coming into the knowledge of truth. So none of us know everything, and, and one of the important keys to this year is going to be taking the position of a learner, expanding your capacity, your knowledge base in areas where you don't know much about. And it's okay not to know. Hear me, it's okay, glory to God, not to have knowledge. But it's a problem when you choose ignorance when knowledge is being presented to you. The word ignorance is ignosis in Greek, which means to literally ignore knowledge. Gnosis is knowledge, uh, ig, which means to reject, push away, ignore. So ignosis, to ignore knowledge. And ignorance is a result of you ignoring knowledge. And so when knowledge about the kingdom, knowledge about your purpose and God's plan for your life is available, I would suggest, ladies and gentlemen, that every opportunity you take the position of a learner. And I'm gonna tell you something, man, you know, when God blesses you— and I'm not just saying this because it's me, but at the end of the day, I do know what I carry. I'm very clear who I am. And I'm very clear of the deposits God has made in me. Um, and I know my job as an apostle in the body of Christ is to help people discover who they are, help them develop that person that they are, and then deploy them into the earth as an effective kingdom citizen so that their entire life encompasses Kingdom experiences. I'm not talking about having good church. Some people are running behind what they think is good church, running behind a prophetic word, and when in reality what you need to do is be sitting your gluteus maximus down somewhere and learning and growing. You know, most people are looking for the church experience when in reality the church should really honestly Be Kingdom University. I posted something today that when you hear the word of God, watch this, your faith grows. The Bible says faith come by hearing and hearing by the word. So every time you get an opportunity to hear the word taught, your faith in what you hear expands. So, you know, most, most of you, uh, live by replay, don't understand the kingdom. You need it. The kingdom has to be taught. And most people have grew up under this regime where they've been taught Bible but not how to function effectively as kingdom citizens. And that's where we are, ladies and gentlemen. And I plan on spending the rest of my life teaching people how to be good kingdom citizens. So tonight, glory to God, we're in the third installment of our message entitled Kingdom Success Uh, that's what we're going to be teaching until God lets us up off of it, because I believe that this year it needs to be a year of good success for both you and I. I believe that God wants to take us to levels in kingdom living that we've never gone to before. It's going to require the knowledge, the science, and that's what I'm going to give you tonight, the knowledge, the the supernatural science behind operating effectively— hear me— as a kingdom citizen. Glory to God. You know, and again, I already know, you know, there, there are a bunch of people who think they know this, and this is why they're stuck. They're always broke, they're always depressed, they're always frustrated, they're always out of control and can't figure things out because again, they refuse to take the position of a learner. So tonight we're going to talk about success. Hear me, family, and prosperity. Okay. And, um, you know, I was in the gym working out today and this hit me, um, that at this point in this series, we really need to talk about this. Because the reality is you can't separate the two. Because some people think prosperity, you know, having a whole lot of money is success, but actually it's not. And some people think, you know, because they got plaques on the wall, they have accomplished a lot of things, that they are successful, but they have no money or they're not prospering. Again, really, real success is a marriage between the two. You're going to see fruit in both areas. And so tonight we're going to talk about that because again, I believe this is a driver, this is an outlier that God has set up for people in the kingdom, uh, for this year. I'm not talking about church-going folk that just want to remain churchy and go through the motions of church and, and go through You know, I've been operating in the supernatural a long time, family. So, and I know folk, and I know their hunger for quote-unquote what they believe the supernatural is. But I want to tell you something, man. After you go through all of those motions in the church, you fall out, you hear great preaching, you hear great teaching, you run around buildings, you have praise breaks, at the end of the day, hear me, ladies and gentlemen, You need some fruit that shows who you are in the kingdom, so people— glory to God— who are not in the kingdom will begin to question, how did you arrive at that place? And of course, it's to lead people to Jesus. So let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you tonight for this word. I thank you for your people, uh, that's watching us tonight, either live or by replay. I give you praise, I give you glory. God, for though our partners— God, I thank you for our sons, our daughters in ministry. Thank you for the members of Rhoda Church. And Father, we just bless you for what you're choosing to do through us as a people. And Father, we pray, God, that your glory will be revealed in us, through us, upon us, in everything we set our hands to do. And we give you praise and glory for that now. In the mighty name of Jesus. And I thank you, God, that as we finish this teaching tonight, every person will leave with an understanding— glory to God— as to what it means— hear me, family— to have good success. We praise you for that, and we give you glory in Jesus' name. Amen. All right, you want to praise God for his goodness. Glory to God. You ought to praise him for his mercy and his grace toward you. Again, tonight we're talking about Kingdom Success Part 3, uh, and this teaching is entitled Success and Prosperity. So here's the reality, family. I'm gonna start with this. Everybody, everybody, I don't care who you are, and you can, you can be on here tonight and deny what I'm about to say, and if you do, you are a liar and there is no truth in you. Listen, everybody wants to be successful. And everybody also wants to prosper. The problem between those that actually become successful and experience true prosperity is knowledge. It's actually understanding your ways. Glory to God. And obeying the principles that God has set before you to achieve that. Many a times, family, we lean more to man's way of operating and doing things when it comes down to success, and we define success according to man's standards. And so since I started teaching this, I've been giving you a definition of success. I'm gonna give it to you again, and we're gonna unpack it tonight, because at the end of the day, I think that's important in this point if we're going to apply these principles. Again, I want to give you something tonight that you could take away from this live, use it in your life tomorrow, right? So you could take away from this teaching tonight and apply it immediately and use it in your life. I don't want this just to be another sermon, another teaching. I want you to really take this and make application of what's about to be revealed. So again, everybody wants to be successful. Glory to God, everybody wants to prosper. It's a reality. Everybody wants to feel like they are achieving. Here's the reality: only about 16.5% of humanity— watch this— actually ascertain true success and prosperity. That's a real low number because you got a lot of people you could look at again and say, wow, they're successful, or wow, they're doing well for themselves, because you may look at the car they drive, the house they live in, uh, the clothes they wear, and you may say, oh my God, they're successful. Well, we have seen on many occasions people who have had money and end up committing suicide, people who have money who had to take drugs to get up in the morning and drugs to go to bed at night, because at the end of the day they had not wholly obtained success, and they not had not obtained success according to the alignment and the guidelines to which God has set in place. Matter of fact, tonight, right where you are, I need you to touch yourself and say, God wants me. Yes, say it, to be successful. Come on, say that again. Say, God wants me to be successful. Oh, that's real good tonight, people. That's real good. God wants you successful. Oh my God, glory to God. God doesn't want you to live in mediocrity. It's a tragedy. Hear me, it's so tragic that only about 17% of humanity has actually achieved success. Yes. How do you know that, Michael? Was one, I know about spirit, but two, I know it by scientific research and empirical data. Glory to God. That shows the number of people who make massive amounts of money who are yet depressed, yet suicidal, yet can't stay married. Hear me? Yet can maintain effective relationships. Oh God, I need y'all to be here with me tonight. Glory to God. The reality is God wants us to succeed. He wants us to prosper, not so you could flaunt you, but he wants that to happen so you and I can bring glory to his kingdom. All right, now, so say that. I want to add to what we just said. Say, God wants me to have good success so that I— listen— can bring glory to his kingdom. So the whole reason for you having good success is that he can be glorified in the success you achieve, and your success becomes a magnet to draw people to him. So it's nothing wrong with you wanting to be a millionaire. See, in the church, what we've done or a billionaire. There's nothing wrong with you wanting to be creative and develop things, be innovative and be at the cutting edge of your field and what you've been created to do. It's nothing wrong with you desiring that. See, the church has, has downplayed prosperity and success because we didn't want to ascribe to faith teachers. Because many of you were sitting under a leader who didn't like faith teachers because their church was growing and they wanted you to stay. So they talked about the faith teacher and said what the fake teacher was teaching was wrong, when in reality they were actually teaching the Bible. You know, the reality is prosperity and success is in scripture, and it is in the will of God for you to succeed and have prosperity so you can bring glory to him. And you know what, besides, it makes life a whole lot easier to advance the kingdom when you have the resources to do so. Oh boy, good God from Zion, Lord help us today, Lord help us. Shabandia, bransi lebekoso torababai. God, we give you glory. God, we give you honor. We get— oh, shabandidebe suturabai. We bless you, God. We are here to succeed. We're on this planet so we can bring glory to our Father. Through the success. What would it look like if every believer lived in mediocrity and we're constantly saying we serve God that owns the earth? Man, no, that's not the way. That's not his desire. That's not his plan. So let's get in this tonight. So let's get a working definition again of success. Success is the discovery and fulfillment of your life's purpose. I'm gonna say it again: success is the discovery and the fulfillment of your life's purpose. So if you're doing something— watch this— even though you made a lot of money doing it, or making a lot of money doing it, but it isn't your life's purpose, or you under pressure— hear me— and you're always stressed out about how you got to get things done, listen to me, maybe that's not your purpose. Maybe that's not God's plan. Let's read Proverbs 19:21. And again, I'm gonna just lay a backdrop with this and we're gonna run. Glory to God. This is all introduction here. All right, Proverbs 19:21. Someone type it in the comments, please. Glory to God. The Bible says many of the plans— listen, in a person's heart. Oh, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails, or that stands forever. So every one of us have dreams and things we may want to do, right? That's in our heart. But the only thing that prevails— say that with me— say prevailing purpose. The prevailing purpose in your life is the thing that God has planned. What is purpose, Michael Woods? Purpose is the original intent for the creation of a thing. So everything was created with an original intent by its manufacturer, whether it be a car, whether it be a microphone, whether it be a computer, whether it be a camera. Oh my God, whether it be an iPad, whatever the case may be, whether it be you and I There's a distinctive, authentic, unique reason why you and I were created. And so the key is, if you want to be successful, you've got to discover, family, why you created. And, and listen, running from tent to tent, running from prophet to prophet, is not going to help you discover that. What's going to help you discover that is time on your face with the manufacturer. God is your manufacturer. God created you, so you got to spend some time with him. Come on, I know you think you know this, but you need to do it. If you know it, do it. You need to spend time with the manufacturer. And instead of trying to pray through to glory, or instead of— oh boy, here we go, I'm about to upset people now, because watch this, real glory manifests on purpose. Hallelujah! I'm telling you right now, listen, you really ain't been in the glory if you still confused about why you're here. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy! If you still confused about why you wake up every morning, you have— I don't care how much you fell out, how much you got drunk. Oh boy, how— oh God, how long you pray? If you came away from that, it was just religious and ritualistic. If you came away unclear about why you are here. So instead of trying to major on ritualistic things, we need to be praying through to purpose. We need to pray through to discovery so that the manufacturer can clearly reveal why You and I are on this planet. We make a lot of bad decisions when we don't understand purpose. Glory to God. And again, people end up in divorce court because they married outside of purpose. Watch this. The Bible said that which God joined together, no man can put it asunder. So if God joined it, no matter what happens, you can't even put it asunder. You won't— you'll try and you won't be able to When you marry in purpose, when you align yourself with people of purpose who align with your purpose— how can two walk together except they agree? Oh my God, today, how can two walk together except they, hallelujah, celebrate the same purpose? Except, watch this, you— that person you walk with should have revelation of who you are. Who we are and be able to support that and be able to follow after that. My God, today. My God, today. Oh my God. So say it again. Say prevailing purpose. Prevailing purpose is what comes from God. So again, you, you don't need to run from tent to tent. See, watch this. When you get confirmation to who you are from God and you pray through to discovery, to what will prevail in your life. Watch this. Prevailing means that you are consistently a conqueror, that you consistently win, that victory is always your portion. So God is saying, when you tap into purpose, victory will always be your portion. Oh boy. Oh boy. So again, true success is the discovery of purpose, all right? It's the discovery and the fulfillment of that purpose. Now watch this. So because we know purpose is the original intent for the creation of a thing, that means when God created you and I, he already knew why we were being born. Watch this. This is why you couldn't be aborted. This is why you're not a mistake, because Jeremiah 1:5 says, before he formed you in your mother's belly, he knew you. The reality is God already was clear about what you were coming to this planet to bring. Matter of fact, you are God's delivery system on Earth. Oh, you're here. I talked about this a little Sunday on how we are here to be transformation agents, and it's what's in us that brings— oh God— that purpose in us is what gives us the ability and brings to the world transformation. So you gotta fulfill your purpose by transforming the area that you were created to transform, not what you saw somebody else doing and it looked like they were really successful at it, so you decided, okay, they're successful at this, so I'm gonna do it because they're doing it. No, you're fake, man. You're phony, you're pseudo. You gotta find the— oh my God, the purpose that God has created you for, and you do that through prayer. You do that through time with the manufacturer. You gotta stop being fake. You gotta stop being phony. Are you hearing this? You got to stop being a comparisonitis, where you compare yourself to everybody else and you try to do things based on what you see everybody else doing. No, you are unique, and you need to find that uniqueness, and you need to pursue it. And you need to walk it out because the world is waiting on your uniqueness. Listen, everything in life has a distinctive and unique purpose. Everything. Even cockroach, even your little toe, even your pinky finger, the hairs in your nose. Everything in life has a distinctive reason why it's alive. Can I tell you something? Your heart is still beating because you still have purpose. Your heart is still beating because God still has a plan for your life. Oh, shabandi tiri debesu tu rababaya. Reban, the world needs what's in you. That's why you're breathing. Your birth certificate is like your time clock that clocks you into life. And as you live through life, your death certificate becomes your time clock that clocks you out. But you don't get the clock out until you finish, until you finish God's plan. I got to get through this. Glory to God. So even though you and I are distinctively purposed, I got to go through this, guys, because none of this is going to matter. Because again, we're talking about success and prosperity. And remember, success Glory to God, is the fulfillment and the discovery of purpose. So the problem with everything having a purpose is this: it's every purpose is not known. There are so many people who do not understand who they are and why they are, because they don't realize that they need a relationship with the manufacturer in order for purpose to be revealed. I'm gonna say that again. You need a relationship with the manufacturer, who is God. So he could clearly reveal why you are on Earth, why you are on this planet. All right, so every purpose is not known, and where purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable. You abuse your life when you don't know why you're here. Abuse is two words: ab and use, abnormal use. You use your life improperly. If you don't know the purpose of a child, you'll abuse that child. That's child abuse. You don't know the purpose of your spouse, you'll abuse your spouse. That's spousal abuse. The reality is, when you know purpose, glory to God, you find fulfillment, because purpose is the key to fulfillment. If you're working a job and you're looking at the clock all day, that's not your purpose. Because when you're operating in purpose, you can do what's purpose all day long. You could do it when nobody supports you. You could do it without a cheerleader. You could do it without a fan Praise. Glory to God. When you understand it's your purpose, you get it done. You're delighted to do it. It's fulfillment. When you're married to someone that's purpose, you look forward to seeing them. You look forward to spending time with them. You look forward to— glory to the name of God— interacting with their essence, because at the end of the day, they bring fulfillment to your life. Glory to God. So purpose is the key to fulfillment. So we must discover purpose if we want to be successful. Watch this. Everybody's not a preacher. As many people is calling themselves to be an apostle, they're not apostles. As many people who call themselves prophetic, they're not prophetic. I, I watched one of the most pathetic displays, uh, earlier this week of someone saying they are prophetic. And honestly, the whole thing is pathetic because it operates under the vows of a familiar spirit. That's another message for another day. But the guy was defending his space. But I remember when, uh, and I'll say his name, O.C. Allen, who's a bishop, uh, some kind of bishop in our city who passes a church that, uh, is mostly attended by homosexuals, lesbians, transgender. It's an inclusive church. It's the same gender loving congregation. He has a first gentleman. Earlier this week, he made the statement in defense— this is— he's— these, these were his words: this is not a gay church, this is a prophetic church. I said immediately, no sir, your church is not prophetic, your church is pathetic. Because at the end of the day, you are living in come on, you're living in sin, sir. Glory to God. And you're taking the Bible and making it fit alternative lifestyles, and you're operating— every time you prophesy, you operate under a familiar spirit. See, this is not your purpose. Glory to God. And so you're, you're abusing the office. And while him with 5,000 people may appear successful It's not successful. Yeah, it's not successful. It's operating under the guise of a familiar spirit. Glory to God. There is a, a familiarity with classical Pentecostalism. Glory to God. And if y'all want to share this with him, clip this out like y'all do, share it please, because I'm— I need to talk to him. I want him to talk to me because at the end of the day, I want to in love share with him that he's in error. The reality is it's not his purpose to, to make people feel comfortable in sin. No, no ma'am, no sir, it's not. So what am I saying? Purpose is the key to fulfillment. And everybody is not clear. Just because they say there's something doesn't mean there's that. Gloria, everybody that say they are pastor is not a pastor. Every evangelist is not supposed to be evangelizing. You know, the reality is there's a uniqueness about you you need to discover, and you'll find fulfillment in that. The reason why this man has to get up and make a frustrated statement like that, it— because he made it out of frustration. There was nothing prophetic about it. He's frustrated with people saying his church is a gay church. And I'm telling you right now, I'm gonna keep calling it that until the Lord close my mouth, because it's the truth. Because if I walk in, in there— because he had the nerve to say that if his church is a gay church, every church in Atlanta is a gay church. The devil is a liar. Glory to God, Ronald Church is not a gay church, and our stand is clear. We believe the Bible. Neither is it a whoremongering church or an adulterous church. It's not a church that Oh my God, justifies sin. Oh boy, don't scroll, please. Glory to God, stay here because I'm trying to show you that just because something looks successful and somebody talks— and he was talking like he was this big bad wolf, man. Sit down with your unanointed self. You, you sleep with a man every night that you call your husband. There's nothing prophetic about that. O.C. Allen, that is pathetic. And I, I go on record and saying, so you say what you want about me, but I'm gonna tell the truth and I'm gonna tell it to the day I die. These folk changing, trying to change the scripture to justify their lifestyle. The devil is a liar. Glory to God. Listen, if you want to be gay, keep the Bible out of it. It. Keep Jesus' name out of it. Keep the church out of it. Ah, shaw! Glory to God, glory to God. All right, so if purpose is the key to fulfillment, that means that purpose also is the true foundation to all success. All right, I got that out. I'm moving on. Glory to God, that grieved my spirit. Is, yes, you can see when I saw that, well, I, I don't— waited 2 days before I responded to that, and, and here we are. Glory to God. Because I was praying about that thing. That thing is terrible. All unrighteousness is sin. I'm moving on. Glory to God. You can't truly operate in God's plan, and you can't clearly hear the plan of God because God's a holy God. If you're not spending enough time in prayer where you get deliverance, where you get breakthrough. Glory to God. Whoa, Shia. You know, there's some people, uh, glory to God, that, you know, have these alternative lifestyles that choose not to deal with me because of my stand on these things. The reality is I don't care. I'm gonna keep telling the truth. Glory to God. My first call is to tell the truth, and, and no one is exempt from that True. Glory to God. Listen, we just gotta— listen, you want to do what you want to do, you're grown, do it. But, but realize it's sin and keep the Bible out of it, because the Bible is the living word. Glory to God. I gotta go, I gotta go. So that's success. Success is discovery and fulfillment of your life's purpose. All right, now what is prosperity? Michael Woods, I'm still in introduction, too much introduction. Let me, let me just Let me go. So prosperity— watch this— is progression, it's accumulation and increase that is approved and ordained by God. I'm gonna say that again. It's progression. So let's, let's just stop at each word so we can let this marinate a little bit. So prosperity means you are progressing, you're increasing, you're growing, things are getting better. You're not stuck in the same mindset. See, prosperity starts in your mind. Money is not currency, your mind is. You're only as wealthy as you think. And if you think you've got to be broke, you got to operate in lack, you got to live from check to check, that's what life's going to present you. That's what you're gonna have. Prosperity is progression. It's accumulation, which means there's a consistent bringing in of more. You're increasing, you're growing, your bank account is expanding, your stock portfolio is growing, your real estate portfolio grows, your— oh my God, your life insurance policies are growing. Why? Because you're accumulating custom joyfully-yam. Let me tell you something, there's a spirit of accumulation that God has released on the body of Christ for this season. You better learn what you need to learn so you can accumulate, because watch this— I hear you, Father— while other people are struggling and straining to make it, the body of Christ is going to accumulate, increase, and grow because— oh God, because we discovered what real success is. Here's what I want you to get, this last part: it is increase that is approved by God. So there's a level of increase that God has already approved for your life. There's a level of abundance that you've been pre-approved for, but you got to tap into your wealthy place so you can start receiving it. Glory to God. Lord have mercy. This ain't popular. I know it ain't. I know it ain't. Let's go to Philippians 4, verse 17 through 19. 17, 18, and 19. I'm gonna read all three. Y'all here? Glory to God. I love y'all. Praise God. I even love the guy I was just talking about. He just need deliverance. He just needs correction from his error. He's operating under strong delusion. Glory to God. Philippians 4, uh, verses 17, 18, and 19. The Bible says this, it says, not that I desire your gifts. What I desire is that more be credited to your account. So watch this, you have a heavenly account. And the Apostle Paul says, I, I don't want you to give because I desire your money. No, he said, what I desire is for you to give and release your giving so more— oh boy— can be credited to your account. Watch this. When you slack and you become slow on your tithe, on your offering, on your giving, watch this, you are not making deposits in your heavenly account. But the Bible says here he wants credit to be added to your account. This is why you enter into the exchange system, so that you have credit in your heavenly account. Now watch this, a lot of time when you go to ask for resources there is no release. Oh boy, because watch this, watch this, she don't have no credit. You've been shortchanging God. Oh God, oh God. Okay, I'm in the book, let me keep reading. He— Paul says, I have received full payment and have more than I love it. He says, I'm amply supplied now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering and acceptable sacrifice pleasing to God, and my God will supply your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Watch this. The reality is God says if you want to tap into the riches in glory that are in Christ Jesus, he says you have to understand your role in the exchange system. Oh boy, so that means somebody said, here we go again, we're talking about giving. Yes, because as long as you still broke, I'm gonna keep talking. I gotta talk about it, right? I gotta talk about it so you could get a release. And I want you to be clear, I'm like Paul, I have more than enough. God is faithful to me. I'm grateful for that. Glory to God. But I talk to you like this so that you could prosper and have true success. And watch this, when you find your purpose, your purpose becomes a tool that attracts money to you so you can give at high levels, so you can put credit and make big investments in your heavenly account so that all your needs are supplied, not according to your riches but his riches. God says, I'm gonna supply according to my riches. See, some of you, when it comes to purpose, you spend too much time counting your money. Y'all ain't got to talk to me here. And I'm gonna tell you something, you're gonna lose every time because you ain't gonna never have enough to do what God is asking you to do. You never gonna have enough because it's bigger than your bank account. It's bigger, glory to God, than what you can work for. It's bigger than what you can toil and labor for. So you got to get enough credit in your account where you can open the windows of— snatch the windows of heaven open, glory to God. And you can constantly see everything you need for purpose met. All right, I gotta get out of here, man. I'm— I've been here, I've been here 44 minutes. I got to get out of here. Glory to God. So I'm gonna release these principles. I'm gonna give you 4 principles for achieving kingdom success and prosperity. All right, the first one, I want you to write it down. The first principle for achieving success and prosperity— hear me, family— is crisis. All right, I'm reading on Amplified, uh, 1 Peter 5:10. The Bible says, after you have suffered a little while, or after you have experienced seasons of crisis, he says, the God of grace who imparts all blessing and faith who has called you to his own eternal glory in Christ Jesus will himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely and strengthen and settle you. So God is saying, I allow times of crisis Seasons where you are challenged— watch this— to develop your faith. Watch this— I, I— to settle you, to establish your belief system. Watch this— that you are not the one that provides for yourself anyway. It is God— hear me, family— that provides for you. Are y'all with me? Glory to God. To establish you in the idea that the word of God is true. To secure you in God's way of doing things, to strengthen you. Glory to God that you won't give up because you're going through something, and to settle you so you got peace, man, in the midst of crisis. So here's the first principle about crisis I want you to hear. Write it down: don't curse your crisis. All right. Lord have mercy. Jesus, don't curse your crisis. You are going through what you're going through because God is taking you through this season. The trying of your faith worketh patience. Your faith has to go on trial. I don't care how good you're doing now, there will be a date that your faith will have a trial. Hear me, and you gotta go through the trial with Jesus being your attorney. Hallelujah! Glory to God! And when you stand in faith, you put your trust in Jesus. Glory to God that he's got you in the midst of the crisis. Are y'all hearing me? So don't curse the crisis. Welcome it, rejoice, glory to God, hallelujah. You know why? Because crisis will test your belief system. It tests how— what you really believe about God. I always say it like this: adversity will teach you what you really believe. It reveals what you really believe. You don't know where you really are until something adverse occurs. Adversity teaches you what you really believe, ladies and gentlemen. You could be saying, oh, I believe God and God is my King, I love him, I walk by faith and not by sight. And soon as crisis hit, you somewhere hollering, kicking and screaming because you don't see how you're coming out. Well, adversity, which is the word, is adverse. So adverse things occur. The root of adverse is ad. So you can be an ad. An ad is a marketing tool that displays a product to— watch this— fuel belief. So you go through the process of crisis and adversity so you can become an advertisement through crisis to God's glory. So God brings you out so you can testify that your faith, not you, brought you through. Your faith, not what you were depending on, got you through the crisis. Oh boy, oh boy. Watch this. The other reason you shouldn't curse your crisis— hear me, family, hear me. Hear me, is that crisis is the incubator of creativity. Oh God, most of the great things we enjoy were created and invented in crisis. So don't Curse your crisis. Lord have mercy. Watch this. An airplane, ah, was created in crisis. Ah, the telephone was created in crisis. Alexander Graham Bell was sitting there saying, man, I wish I could talk to somebody that's far away, that's not here. That crisis fused his creativity. The Wright Brothers said, I wish I can get across the country faster than horse and carriage. Are y'all hearing this? Faster than an automobile. And they created the airplane. iPads, uh, computer used to be as big as this entire studio. Hear me, hear me. Now it's small as your phone. Glory to God. Creativity crisis. Crisis is the incubator of creativity. Your best gifts and talents are going to surface in crisis. How does that happen, Michael? You got to stop whining about the crisis and become an incubator for creativity by spending time with the Creator and finding out why you're in the crisis— purpose again— and what you need to be creating in crisis. I don't have time to go there, but in the book of Titus, chapter Number 1. Oh God, oh my God. Titus was called into a place called Crete. The Christians couldn't lead themselves out of a closet. They were lost. And Titus had to go into Crete and create. He had to go into a crisis with people that didn't even have the mindset to move to the next place to help themselves and create. Increased. And many of you, you may feel stuck, but you may feel like the crisis will never go away. But you have to become an incubator of creativity in crisis. Find out why God has you there, because watch this, any crisis you don't create in, you're gonna have to repeat. Oh, I'm not gonna finish this tonight, I gotta go. Oh guys, God have mercy. But the reality is crisis, glory to God, creates a new way of thinking about an old problem. Crisis will cause you to look at an old problem from a different vantage point, glory to God. And it will introduce you a way to think if you become a creator where you will never enter that crisis again. See, many times when people— and I'm gonna close my iPad— go through things— I'll finish this on Saturday night, glory to God— when people go through crisis, glory to God, that they keep going through over and over again is because they haven't learned the lesson, and they have— they haven't learned how to create in crisis. But if you really want to have success and prosperity, you cannot curse your crisis, and you gotta allow yourself to become an incubator for creativity in the midst of crisis. Let crisis reveal to you where you really are. I mean, do you really trust God as much as you say? And you falling out, having tantrums when crisis show up. No, you got to trust him against all odds. That's— this is a good place to pray. Listen, I want to thank everybody that joined us tonight, but I want to pray for you that, listen, that you never again panic in crisis, because this is one of the principles you must master in order to be successful. Truly successful? Well, inside of your success is godly prosperity, where your, your life is bringing glory to God and making others want to live and serve the God that you serve. So tonight, don't scroll, stay with me. I want to pray really quick that you will learn how to create in your crate. You will learn how to create in Christ. Praises. You will learn how to tap into the deepest levels of your faith and trust God against all odds. Can we pray that tonight? Let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for this life. I thank you, God, for success and prosperity. I thank you, God, that it is your will that we prosper and be in health even as our soul does prosper. Prosper. And so, Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray tonight that even as we walk out the principles of kingdom success, one of them being crisis— and Father, I thank you that you reminded us tonight that some of the greatest things that we enjoy— cars, airplanes, computers, telephones— all of these things were created in crisis. And so, Father, I believe that there are people, individuals under the sound of my voice who are in crisis. So, Father, help them to be an incubator for creativity. Instead of complaining, cause them to create. And I give you praise for that now in the name of Jesus. Help them to create a better way for their family, a better whole situation for their life, God. And we give you glory because you are Creator, we are creators, because the Holy Spirit lives in us, and we receive that in Jesus' name. And Father, I pray you help your people tonight tap into the deepest belief system inside of them. Expand their faith, God, through the hearing of the word, through taking position of a learner. And we give you praise for it now, in Jesus' name. Amen. And amen. Oh my God, I thank you so much tonight for, for tuning in and for listening. Glory to the name of God. I pray you will bless. A couple of things before we go. Number one, at Rhoda Church this weekend, there will be no Sunday service. The Lord has led me to have service on Saturday night this weekend. We're calling this Saturation Saturday. Listen, if you're in the Atlanta area or nearby or just visiting our city for the weekend, you want to stop by Rhonda Church. It's going to be an evening of miracles, signs, and wonders. Glory to God! We're gonna soak in the presence of God, and we're believing God for a great and powerful move of the Spirit. It's going to be amazing. I'm super excited. I already have people, uh, sending me inboxes and emails saying, Apostle, I'm gonna be there Saturday night. I've been wanting to visit, so I'm looking forward to hosting them and sharing the word of God and sharing in the power of Jesus Christ. Glory to God. Go on any one of our pages or go to our website, rhodachurch.com— watch this— forward slash saturation. Get all the information you need. There's a link there. Click that link, RSVP your seat for Saturday night. It's going to be great. Glory to the name of God. I look forward to seeing you. Listen, I want to challenge every person under the sound of my voice to give tonight. You know, the Bible says when we communicate to you spiritual things, you should communicate to us natural things. So tonight I want to challenge you to get seed in the ground. Glory to God. Whatever you do, pray about it. The Bible says as many as are led by the Spirit of God they are the sons of God. Even in your giving, glory to God. Even in terms of being proportionate, putting credit to your account, as we talked tonight, so that you can see needs met. See, sometimes you have to look at it like this: you don't have enough to cover everything anyway. Most people have more month than they do money. The way to eliminate that is to get credit built up in your heavenly account. By sowing and reaping, so you constantly are experiencing a harvest from God. I love you guys. Y'all be blessed. And again, I'm looking forward to seeing you on Saturday night. Somebody please type the ways to give in the comments.
