God bless you, Apostle Woods. I'm thankful to be here on tonight.
Glad to have you. Um, yes sir.
And we, we're, we are 7 days away from the Oneness Convocation.
I'm super excited to be coming to Houston, man. We'll talk about it at the end, but I'm super excited to be coming to Houston in about 7 days, man, to share with you guys in your Oneness Convocation. Last time I was there was powerful. I know this year is gonna be even more powerful. But I want to, man, jump right into, uh, this teaching tonight because I believe again that so many people need to understand just how powerful oneness and unity is, how necessary. Uh, on the flyer that it's been running for the Oneness Convocation, there's a quote of yours that says that the world cannot change without unity, without oneness, you know.
And that's just the truth.
We got to come together, we got to connect, particularly as leaders, as apostles and prophets and evangelists and pastors and teachers, we must come together so we can see the kingdom of God advance. You know, one thing I know— while we're waiting for people to come in, I'm sure they'll jump on, we'll get some replay people and everything— but one thing I know is that unity, when it's present, when oneness is present, you know it. You know, it's something you know is actually present.
It's present, man. You can't deny it. But when it's not there, you know it's absent.
That's right.
So, you know, tonight, you know, I want to get into a very detailed conversation, Apostle, where we can actually discuss, you know, the— what the blessings of oneness, you know, what that looks like.
I want to—
I want to talk about too what hinders oneness.
As a matter of fact, I want to jump into that early. So, okay, so Apostle, what are some of the things you believe—
and we'll just have a dialogue about this, man— that, that hinders, uh, oneness, that hinders unity?
What, what's some— what are some of the things that you think is happening? Because this is, is prevalent, man. We got people out here trying to build kingdoms to themselves. They don't want to work with nobody. They won't show up at meetings unless they're preaching. You know, at the end of the day, what is, you know, some of the real issues, man, that you think are hindering us from coming together?
Well, uh, Apostle Woods, uh, thank you for having me tonight, um, to expound on that. Um, here in America, we have a problem and an issue uh, which is wrapped up in one word called separation. And we are separated, uh, in, in the arena of Christendom. We're separated by all of these religions, and there's so many religions that, uh, causing people not to want to be one. So separation is a hindrance to the move of God, to the move of the oneness of God. And we are— we have preachers in Christendom, and I'm just gonna make it plain. If I could tell the truth, Apostle, uh, let me, let me tell the truth here.
Yes, sir.
You know, I'm a straight shooter. I'm gonna tell you the truth. Because you're not— people are not that valuable to lie to, but they are valuable. That's right. Truth. We got, we've got preachers ordained, unordained, uh, trying to build kingdoms unto themselves, and that's not the will of God.
It's not.
That is out of order. That is not the protocol of the Bible. And so this great separation— everybody thinks that they are highly anointed by God, so they think they can go out and build their little kingdoms, but it is a hindrance to the body of Christ. Yes, actually, it, it actually, it is an embarrassment to Christ. That these people are trying to separate themselves and try to build something without coming into the unity of oneness. Now we must understand that, uh, in the scriptures, we have to look at the scriptures. And I was looking at the scriptures today on, on this, uh, oneness in the unity, and something stuck out to me. In the book of Acts chapter 2, verse 17.
Come on, he said, come on.
He said, in the last days I'm going to pour out my Spirit on all flesh. I'm gonna stop right there. On all.
Come on.
That all means unity, everybody, oneness.
Yes, sir.
That's, that's what all means. It means oneness. It means we're going to be one. All means everybody, nobody left out, no separation. Or nothing like that. That's Acts chapter 2, verse 17. And then, and then I looked at Ephesians chapter 4, verse 13. It says, until we all come into the unity of the faith. Come on, they go there all again. That's, that's, that's that all again. We, we come—
no one exists.
No one, nobody is exempt. We are all in this together as one. And then I looked at— I looked at John chapter 17, verse 21, and it talks about how Jesus says this. He says, the Father is in me and I am in the Father, and we're one.
Yes.
And he said that he prayed that we come and be one. And so we are using the gospel, we're using Christendom as a platform of separation. And I can only reference— I can only reference back to the 12 disciples who became 12 apostles. They were not separated. They lived together, they worked together, they ate together, they did ministry together, they followed Jesus together. They were one. Yes. And, and, and, and since they were one And here's the caveat to it: since they were one, whatever city they went into, they turned it upside down.
Come on.
Because they were one. That's the power of one. Our cities are not changing or shifting or doing better because our Christian leaders are not coming together as one.
I love it, Apostle. So I believe, Apostle, that that is largely connected to man of God It's something the Lord showed me. That is powerful what you just said, because again, you know, to use the church as a platform is indeed an embarrassment when you're using the church as a platform to build something to yourself and to advocate a separate mentality. But I was reading something, Apostle, in 1 Corinthians 3, uh, verses 1 through 4. That I thought was interesting, and I thought it was an interesting piece to why unity doesn't happen, why it's hindered. And I saw a few things in there that got my attention. So, uh, 1 Corinthians 3, verses 1 through 4. Those of you that are watching, please share this.
We need every person to share.
The Bible says this, it says, brothers—
this is the Apostle Paul talking to Corinth— He says, brothers, I was not able to speak to you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as babies in Christ. So here's the first problem that leads to a greater problem, all right? First problem is these men who were connected to the Apostle Paul who were connected to ministry, they were immature. They had been walking in ministry, working in ministry, but these men were immature. And Paul says, I can't even talk to you like spiritual people. He says, I gotta talk to you like you babies in Christ, right? And that's, that's craziness. Uh, you're— so that's one of the problems, Apostle, Oneness is not happening, and it is really obscured in the body of Christ because we got a lot of babies. In particular, we got babies in leadership, babies preaching, because they don't pray, because they don't study, they don't spend time with God, because they are not aligned and in collaboration with authentic apostles.
So Apostle Paul said I can't even speak to you as spiritual, as mature, but as babies.
Verse 2, he said, I gave you milk to drink, not solid food, because you were not ready for it. In fact, you are still not ready. Oh my God. Verse 3, because you are still fleshly. For since there is envy and strife among you, Are you not fleshly and living like unbelievers? For whenever someone says, I'm with Paul, and another, I'm with Apollos, are you not unspiritual? He was speaking to this unity. They was trying to separate Apollo's camp and Paul's camp, and he was saying, you're doing this because one, you're jealous, and two, you're immature. So it's a lot of jealousy too, Apostle. Yeah, that keeps us from uniting. Um, elaborate on that a little bit, Apostle, about jealousy just among leaders and apostles in the body of Christ.
Well, well, immaturity breeds jealousy.
Yes, sir.
Let me say that again for the people in the back row, up on, up in the balcony. Immaturity breeds jealousy.
Yes.
There's no way you could be mature and be jealous of another preacher.
No, sir.
We've got preachers whose mindsets are not fully developed into the gospel.
Come on.
You see, you see, there's, there's, there's, there's— I don't care how many years or how eloquent you can preach or how eloquent, you can, uh, hoop, but until you are mature— what, what— that's what it said in Ephesians chapter 4, until we come to the unity of faith, so we mature to the stature, you know, right? We, we, we got to mature. So, yes, jealousy, jealousy is a dream killer. Jealousy is a spiritual cancer, and it's eating away at men and women in the body of Christ. And here's another thing that, uh, immaturity, uh, breeds— imitation. Come on, people try to imitate other preachers.
Come on.
So immaturity, it brings imitation. It breeds jealousy. And we've got— we've got in America, we've got a great number of preachers who have not been validated. Listen, and I'm gonna say this and people gonna think I'm crazy: your validation comes from the hits of the devil. Come on, come on. If the devil haven't hit you real good yet, you have not been validated. Talk, sir, because that's part of the maturity of your ministry and how you operate in ministry. You, you— we got young preachers now who are imitating, uh, preachers, and they don't know what they're imitating. And then they, you know, they're putting on a clergy collar, they're putting on the vestments and all of this, and they're becoming bishops at 18, 19 years old, and Uh, you know, uh, they ain't been hit yet. They ain't been hit. Once you, once you've been hit, you gonna rethink your calling.
Absolutely.
But listen, you learn a lesson and it matures you. The lessons that you learn, uh, it matures you. The experiences that you go through So we've got jealous preachers who don't understand the matrix of the gospel. The matrix of the gospel is not made up of jealousy, because there's enough work in the kingdom of God that— let me say this to Apostle, because the kingdom of God is being ushered in the earth right now, and we can tell because the world, the kingdoms of this world are falling and they're crumbling, and there's the system of the kingdom of the world is not working. So God is now ushering the kingdom of God in the earth realm. And what's getting ready to happen is, is God himself is going to come through some cities and clean up some cities and make cities for himself. And, and, and, and, and not only that, but he gonna save America. But he's gonna have to do some weeding out. Absolutely. So the jealousy part of preachers, uh, we got men and women of God fighting against each other, trying to see who's at the highest status and who's at the highest level. But the scriptures, the least of them That's, that's what God is looking for, the least of them. Them that— if, if Jesus did not make himself of no reputation, there's no way you could be an apostle, doctor, bishop, uh, archbishop, all in one thing. That's just too many times.
But the reality is happening, and, and that brings me to my next point, man, because what's happening in the body of Christ right now, not only is jealousy hindering oneness and unity, but also this self-absorbed spirit, this self-focus.
Yeah, it hinders unity. See, what, what a lot of these immature leaders don't realize, Apostle, is that when you believe in Jesus Christ, yeah, and you really receive him, yeah, understand that you become a part of God's family. Yes, not your family, it's God's family, right?
Yeah, right.
And it's no longer about you, so you have to lose that me mentality. But when we focus only on ourselves Only thing we can produce is a lack of unity. When we focus on me, myself, and I, our ministry, our church, guess what happens? We're never gonna achieve oneness, and we'll never receive the benefits that come out of oneness and unity.
No, right, right.
Paul teaches us, he said, don't look out for your own interests, right? He said this to the Corinthians too. He said, look out for the interests of other people as well, right?
That's right.
Which means we got to consider other people more important than ourselves. And that's what Christ did. And specifically to you apostles out there that's watching us, the very nature of an apostle is one of sacrifice, one of compassion, one that looks beyond himself to bear the burdens of other people. Like Apostle said, if you're mature, it doesn't matter how good you can preach or teach or how much words you know, how long you've been in it. If you really are a mature apostle, you understand I got to learn how to bear the burden of other people.
Yes, yes.
You know, think about this, Apostle.
If we took care of the needs of someone else, if everybody did this, say, I'm gonna take care of somebody else's needs, I'm gonna help, I'm gonna help.
Yeah, that's what everybody need will really be met.
Yeah, yeah. And you know, I was—
we get so busy focused on us. Yeah, talk about that, Apostle, about self-absorption.
I was telling somebody last night, um, that there's a lot of churches that have shut down. There are a lot of churches that are, are not functioning like they used to, and there's a lot of people that's not paying tithes and offering anymore. Come on, come on, these churches have shut down. And, and, and, you know, but my thing was, why don't you just go help somebody with a need with that tithe and that offering?
Absolutely.
Why don't you take that tithe and that offering and go help somebody with a need? Um, especially because you got a church. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, you walk, you know, your church is closed down. What you gonna do with the tithe and the offering? Go help somebody. Now watch this. There's only one title in Christ. We talked about being in the family. But we're in the family of Christ. We're in that house because, you know, we're in the household of faith. Yes, number one, we're in the household of faith. And we've— and the Bible says we have been adopted into the household of faith. And I've heard of an unwanted pregnancy, but I've never heard of an unwanted adoption.
Come on, that's right.
So, so, so God know what he's getting when he adopted us. Yes, but there's only one title that God looks at us and uses toward us by being in the family, and it's called servant. Come on, everybody in God's family is a servant.
Absolutely.
And that's, that's the main title that he uses. I don't know about it, you know, I don't know about what people calling themselves all this other stuff, but they're, they're missing the mark because they are servants of God.
Yes, sir.
And we have to serve the people. Even, even Paul said this, he said, I suffer for the elect's sake. I'm not suffering for me, I'm suffering for the elect's sake. I'm suffering for those that are chosen by God. I'm so I'm going through some stuff, but I'm going through for them that's going to come into the kingdom of God. And we've got preachers and leaders, ministry leaders that don't understand the kingdom of God, don't understand the operation and the regulations and the rules. And you know, the kingdom of God has laws that and principles that we have to operate in, and a lot of preachers They say the word kingdom, but they really don't know what the kingdom of God is. And so we are in a place now where we have to make sure that our leadership understands that the unity, that it brings power in their city. And it cannot be separated because when you separate it, there are gaps. And that's what the enemy want. He wants to come through that gap and he wants to come through that space. But the Bible says give no room to the devil. But we give you room because we are so separated and not coming to the unity of faith. That word oneness really means unity. It means the unification. It means unification. And once we are Once we understand, not just the leaders but the people of God, to come into unification, we can do some damage to the kingdom of the devil. We can break down some walls. We need to break down some walls that's separating us from coming into the unification. I'm not— I'm a preacher, but I'm not a threat to another preacher. Come on, there's enough work out here for everybody.
Yes, it is.
You know, the Bible says the Lord of the Harvest is going to send forth, uh, those into the harvest field. So the time is coming now where even in Acts chapter 2, verse 17, I'll take it a little further. He said, listen, the last days I'm gonna pour out my Spirit on all flesh. And then he said, your sons and your daughters shall prophesy. Well, they don't need to be ordained if he said that. They don't need to be affirmed. He said they're gonna prophesy. They're gonna prophesy in the streets, grocery stores, restaurants. It's coming. There's a day coming where there's going to have to be a unification to reach souls. And that's what's missing. This self-aggrandizement and this self-pumped up and all of this self, I'm this and I'm that, and I'm too anointed to be touched. Listen. Listen, God is not pleased. It's an embarrassment to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Come on, Apostle, that's the truth.
So, so listen guys, if you're watching us now, I need you to share.
As we shift into another part of this, I need you to really share this live, okay? Uh, what we're talking about is very, very important because we have become a culture of leaders who are divided. And because we are a culture of leaders who are divided, what is happening—
our—
oh my God, Jesus Christ, help us. We're looking at a group of people who follow us who are also divided.
So we gotta figure this out. And so what we've already identified We've looked at two things that actually hinders unity.
One was jealousy, another was self-absorption or self-focus.
Yeah, listen, I want to look at Apostle really quick, and then we're gonna look at how to, how to restore this.
How do we get back in it? That's what we're going to close with.
But I want to look really quick at the blessings of unity. And in particular, 3 areas, Apostle, I want to highlight tonight because there's a lot of blessings of us coming together. But one, I want to look at how unity attracts God's favor and God's anointing. And you, you've already looked at the scripture that covers that in Acts 2. I want to also look closely at how unity leads to greater productivity. How we do more if we're together. And then 3, I want us to talk a little about how unity creates sustainability, how nobody suffers when we're together. So let's look at this first piece: a unity that attracts God's favor and God's anointing. So you— to me Unity is like the anointed oil that runs down the beard of Aaron.
Yes.
And it's symbolic of the Holy Spirit.
Yes.
And Apostle, I believe where there's unity, the presence and the power of the Holy Ghost will be present and always operating. Here's why a lot of these churches, big and small, whether they got a Facebook church or building, whatever it is, right, they do not have any oil, no power, no presence, because there's no unity. There's no— I'd rather have 20 people unified operating under the anointing.
Yes, sir.
Passionately in love with Jesus, aligned with the vision, than 20,000 folk who are divided. Yeah, see, the scripture even says, Apostle— and I'm gonna let you talk in a moment because I know you got something great on this— the scripture even tells us that God commands his blessing Yeah, where there is unity. So when God sees unity, he said, oh, I'm gonna bless that. Yeah, he superimposes himself on it because the people are one. That's why this convocation is so important that you host annually. It gives an opportunity for leaders to come together and display unity and be an example to their people so that God can command the blessing on their life and ministry. Think about it. You've read— you talked about Acts chapter 2. On the day of Pentecost, those believers were in one place.
Yes, sir.
They had one mind and they were on one accord.
Yes, that's what the Bible says.
That's what it says. So if we want God to empower and bless us My God, gotta be unity. So talk about that, talk about that, Apostle, how unity attracts favor and anointing.
Well, you, you talked about having oil and, sir, and, and the unity. I am convinced of this: we cannot have oil and we cannot have unity unless you have the Holy Spirit. Come on, that's just what I believe. We've got too many people that don't have the Holy Spirit and don't have the Holy Ghost. Oh boy, yes sir, topic there, another sermon for another day. We're lacking, we're lacking in ministry leadership, those having the Holy Ghost and the Holy Spirit. They—
you saying some preaching without the Holy Ghost?
And, and, and that is, that is because when you preach from the Holy Ghost, you get the blessings of God because that's the connection. God, when you're preaching from the Holy Ghost, you, you're allowing the Holy Ghost to preach, uh, which becomes the head of us, uh, you know, the problem is We've been preaching from our body, but we've been preaching from our head, right? So you got the Holy Ghost to preach from the head, because the Holy Ghost— yes, sir, head of the church. Come on, he filled the— he filled the first church, he filled it up. He filled the first church on the day of Pentecost. He filled it, he filled up everything. The Holy Ghost came in like a mighty rushing wind. But we ain't— we don't have people. We got sporadic members of, of churches who have the Holy Ghost, but it's not enough. Everybody in the house ought to have the Holy Ghost.
Come on, sir.
You got the Holy Ghost, you got oil, and you got a mind to unify because you have— you, you now you have a landmark which is the Holy Ghost And the landmark says, okay, we're going to come into unity. I don't care what building it is, I don't care where it's at, we're going to come into unity and something miraculous is going to happen. You know, there are two, two occasions where people came together, actually three, there's more than that, but these two stand out to me. These people followed Jesus. And I'm talking about they were following him to Jairus's house. These people were in unification. And guess what happened? The woman with the issue of blood for 12 years came out the house, and, and they were so unified. When she touched the hem of his garment, it brought the virtue out of him, because there were some people that were unified following Jesus. Glory, hallelujah! So a miracle performed. And not only that, when they were unified in the house, they had to take the man upon the roof and tear the roof off and lower him in the midst of the house. Those people were so unified that Jesus saw their faith and he said, listen, that I saw your faith, and he performed a miracle right on the spot because there was unification in the house waiting for a miracle. Come on, we got— don't understand that when you come together and you unify, miracles take place. Miracles are attracted to unification. Yes, miracles are attracted to them that have a mindset that we're going to come together and we're gonna do this. And the oil begins to flow in the house.
My God, yes Lord, that's good stuff. So Apostle, unity and oneness attracts favor, anointing, miracles, power.
Yeah, deliverance.
And I want to go further and take it even to say, first of all, that God can't in any way hear me, everybody that's listening to us tonight. God cannot in any way bless and favor division. No, because he's only attracted to unity that comes from being baptized— I want to go back there—
in the Holy Ghost. So I want to encourage every person listening to me, you need to be filled With the Spirit. The Bible said, be not drunk with wine.
That's what it says.
Wherein is excess, but be filled with the Spirit. And I want to tell you something, that text in Ephesians is not literally, uh, talking about strong drink alone. It speaks in context to being intoxicated by the world's way of doing things.
Right.
Some of y'all leaders are too worldly.
You're too—
you're too involved with the systems of the world. And, and if you're an apostle, you definitely carry a mantle that represents a kingdom system that has nothing— oh my God— to do with how the world operates. You carry the glory in a way that people want to run to it and say, what must I do to get what you have?
Yes.
But when you are apostle and your pants are too tight and your wrist is too limp and you got earrings in both of your ears, something's wrong with that.
Definitely.
You need to be filled with the Holy Ghost so you can be more like him, because you need favor and anointing. And that ain't you getting a lot of likes on your Facebook posts your Instagram post.
No, sir.
Favor and anointing, it come from heaven, not social media.
Yeah. And Apostle, somebody told— somebody told them this lie that it don't take all that, you know. Somebody told them this lie that it don't take all that, that you don't need it and, and all of that, and you could do what you want to do and, and be what you want to be, uh, you know, and just a permissive church, a permissive, um, uh, preacher. You can do what you want to do. And, and, and, and for many years, uh, preachers have been using the church to cover up their sins. And, and, and God, I don't know if I should talk about that, but they use the church, you know, to cover up, um, their sexual sins, their adulteries. And, and, and financial greed. And, and, and, and there comes a time where God is not— he, he's not going to turn the other way. He's not going to look the other way now because he says this: judgment must first start in the house of God, you know. And Eli had that problem with his sons, you know, Hophni and Phinehas. They were having sex in the, in the temple, and they were taking the priest portion They were doing things in the temple, in the temple now, in the temple, and, and it was against God's will, and it was against God's law, and against God's protocol. So all of these preachers who are trying to operate under the cloak of the church and the cloak of the anointing, they, but they better get ready for a rude awakening because God is not pleased with the mentality and the actions of men who have turned the temple into a den of thieves, and we have turned the temple into degradation, you know. And, and it's crazy, and we're facing this right now. But God is cleansing. He's cleansing. He's cleansing. And he's cleansing the— and how he's cleansing— when I'm talking to believers now, that's why you got to have the Holy Ghost. You got to get ready because the Bible says in the book of, uh, uh, in the Old Testament, he says, um, when I see the blood, I'll pass. There's a lot of preachers ain't got no blood on them. There's no blood on their heart. There's no blood on the doorposts. And so they're leaving the earth quickly because there's no blood. And so we've got to be careful. And, and here's what I think that needs to happen very quickly in our churches. And I say this for everybody, not just, uh, ministry leaders. We've got to go back to the posture of repenting. Come on, we got to go back to the posture of repenting, cleaning the slate, because of— we talked about it earlier— because all the jealousy and all of those things, and it's It's a hindrance for the oil to be flowing. It's a hindrance for people to see miracles and experience the real power of God.
Come on, come on, Lord, I, I love you. That is good stuff, Apostle.
So let's move to this next point, Apostle.
Let's move quickly because listen, I believe that this is helping somebody, and whether they're watching live or by replay Listen, if you're joining us, please share this. Whether you're on YouTube, share the link with someone. Whether you're watching right now via Instagram, whether you're watching right now via Facebook, Periscope, wherever you're watching us, I need you to go ahead and share this because this teaching tonight is very important because we gotta understand oneness, unity attracts favor and anointing. And listen, I need you to hear what Apostle is saying. You got to keep a posture of repentance so that the Holy Spirit can be with you. Yeah, and lead you and guide you to all truth.
Let's look at this other piece, Apostle, how unity leads to greater productivity.
I want to read to validate this, Ecclesiastes chapter number 4 and verse number 9. And then, Apostle, I'll let you elaborate on it.
But the scripture says in Ecclesiastes 4:9, it says two are better than one. Yes, because they have a good reward for their labor. Yes, that's good stuff. It's simply saying more can be accomplished when we work together versus working separately. Yeah, what can be accomplished when we do it two by two? Because there's strength in numbers. Two 2. One is— 2 is better than 1. 3 is better than 2. 4 is better than 3, and so on and so on. Apostle, talk about that a little. 2 are better than 1. We get a great reward for our labor when we work together.
Yeah, and, and that's what Jesus did. He sent them out 2 by 2. He said he sent the, the disciples out 2 by 2, and he said, uh, and if they don't receive you shake the dust off your feet. Come on, come on. And, and, and, you know, and the revelation of that is, is when you shake the dust off your feet, dust is a breeding ground for snakes. So, you know, uh, so the devil comes in when there's dust. Yes, he does. But yeah, You know, it's better— two are better than one. Because here's, here's the number one thing with that, because we can hold each other accountable. Yes sir, you know, we can hold each other accountable. You see, uh, it was Paul and Silas who were in jail. It wasn't just Paul, it was Paul and Silas.
They were in jail together.
It was two of them in jail. And so, you know, but when they begin to sing, pray and sing praises, the jail gates open. Glory to God. Yes. Hallelujah. The earth shook. Glory. And all the jail gates in the place open. All the other prisons' jail gates open because of those two. Those two were working it. Two. So the two brings accountability. And so, uh, it is the strength in the unification that— and, and it complements one another. What you can't do, I could do, and what I can't do, you could do. It's a compliment. It's a compliment. It's, it's nothing but a compliment, because when you look down the corridors of time, you look down the corridors of time, God wants to us to know that if I can bring two, just two people, where two or three are gathered in my name, glory to God, hallelujah, there I am in the midst. Two, all I need is two. And, and, and, and, you know, Jesus said this, the Father— I'm in the Father and the Father's in me. Those two are together, they're tied together, they're linked together. They cannot be separated. And so the two in, in this text, uh, working together, bringing forth the fruits of their labor. You know, it was Elijah and Elijah that worked together, two prophets working together.
Come on, come on.
And we often saw that in the Bible. We often saw that two of God's gifts working together. And so we, we have to follow the pattern of God. You touched, you touched on it, Apostle. That's, that, that, that right there is very revelational because we don't have too many people that know how to come together, even as two people, to work together and to serve in the kingdom of God. And, and, and, and so when we look at that, the the labor in the fields are ready. The harvest is ready.
Yes, sir.
But we have no laborers.
Laborers are few.
Are very few because we cannot come together and unify ourselves to get into the field. Now, this one, this conference, Convocation in Houston, I believe that you're coming and other speakers are coming. I believe that there's a transformation that happens when there's unity and oneness. I believe there's a transformation of not just the people, but the city, the region. There's going to be a trend because we have to understand that the Lord— watch this— is watching us. He's watching our every move. The eyes of the Lord is everywhere, beholding good and evil. And so in the eyesight of God, if we can come together as, as, as even as the apostles— the apostles now, listen, I'm gonna tell you what God is looking for. God is looking for some premier apostles, some apostles that's going to stand up and tell the truth and, and, and, and begin to, uh, let the apostles that's, uh, novice, let them know what it takes to be a premier apostle. It takes a lot, but, but the Lord is going to have that. He's going to have one premier apostles. His day is coming. The Lord's day is coming. And so, but those two serving God, working for the kingdom of God it's more powerful than one because there's accountability.
Absolutely. I love it, I love it. And that produces a greater productivity when we can work together. I'm gonna move to the next point, but I want to read one verse that I think is very, uh, important to something Apostle just shared. Leviticus 26, verses 7 and 8.
The Bible says this, listen to this. It says you, you, you and I, all of us watching this live, shall chase your enemies. Yes, not the enemy chasing us, not us running from COVID and disease and cancer. No, right, not running from poverty. You shall chase your enemies. My God, they shall fall before you by the sword.
My God.
So as we come together around the word in oneness, yes, we are going to chase our enemies out of town, out of our life, out of our family, out of our finance, out of our bodies.
Yes.
Verse number 8 says, 5 of you shall chase 100. Yes, he said, just get 5 together, you can chase 100 demons. He said, and 100 of you shall chase 10,000.
That's what the word says.
Your enemy shall fall before you by the sword. We listen when we come together in Houston. I feel the anointing, Apostle, for the Oneness Convocation. In 7 days it kicks off. Yes, listen, I don't care where you are in this country, you still got a chance, a time to get a 7-day advance ticket. If you are an apostle or a prophet, if somebody told you you was an apostle or a prophet, you ain't got no business being an apostle or prophet. You paid to be an apostle or prophet. Listen, or you're authentically an apostle or prophet, you need to be in this meeting. Because yes, we're going to shift not only Houston, Texas, but every leader that's in attendance. They're going to leave, and I speak this prophetically, with a mantle and anointing on them that's going to be able to be taken back to their region. Yes, to bring deliverance and victory to their region. And let me say this to y'all, you know, Apostle and I, we've been doing this a long time. We ain't just popped up on Facebook preaching, you know. We, we've been evangelizing for over 30 years and traveling the country and bringing people together. This ain't just starting. So, and I remember, Apostle, we was in Houston together in the early phases of our ministry. I just saw, uh, Bishop D. Hill get on here. D. Hill is Apostle M.D. Hill's son. That's right. Listen, we, we, we went and preached at all the M.D. Hill churches. Well, we was on Houston for several, several weeks preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. And so this hadn't just started. We know this region. We know the demons that operate right here.
Listen, you need to be in this meeting because we're gonna knock down 10,000 at least. Demons are gonna get chased out of town. It's going to be very productive for the city and the nation, so you want to make sure you are in Houston, Texas. Um, last thing, and then we're going to just talk about one more thing. We're almost out of here, y'all.
Stay with us, don't go anywhere. Oneness—
and this is something I, I read that's really dear to my heart—
it leads to not only productivity and favor and anointing, but it also leads to sustainability.
Yes, sir.
Um, reality, guys, a house divided against itself cannot stand. It will not last.
No.
And you know, when Jesus was speaking of that in the text, mind you, he was talking about Satan. And he was saying, listen, Satan in his kingdom does not tolerate division. Satan will divide us, but he keeps his kingdom unified.
That's right.
Otherwise It wouldn't be— it wouldn't stand. So Jesus said, listen, it's the same for the church and kingdom people. We got to stand together. We will not accomplish what we're supposed to be accomplishing, and we will not be sustainable and leave legacy to the generations to come if we don't unify now. Apostle, talk a little about sustainability and how unity helps us to leave a legacy.
Yeah, you know, God, he, you know, he's looking for us to do our part. And when we begin to obey him, he sustains us. He, he makes, he makes ways out of no way. He, he creates opportunities, whether it be an opportunity for people to be healed, set free, delivered, or financial opportunities He, he creates sustainability. But that's what he is, because he's God the Father. He's Abba Father, and he makes sure that we are sustained. He makes sure that we got a roof over our head. He makes sure we got a car to drive, gas in the tank, clothes on our back. He said, I'll never leave you nor forsake you. He said, I'm going to sustain you. He's always got something next coming. There's always something that's coming for us. You know, he told Elijah to get to, to move from the brook and go to Zarephath. He said, I have a widow woman there to sustain me. He's always got some something or somebody to help sustain us. And, and when we, when we acknowledge that we need to come together when we acknowledge— because you said it, Apostle, the devil is unified.
Yes, he is.
The devil is unified. Jesus went to, to, to get a boy delivered, and he asked the demons, he said, what is your name? And they said, Legion.
Yes, sir.
And legions is— and that's a French military word. Yes, that's a French military word. They were marching to the drum of the devil, but they were unified. Glory to God. Hallelujah. If demons could be unified, how come Christians can't be unified? Come on, you know, sustainability of God. God has taken care of us. He has blessed us, and we have audacity to act like we've done it for ourselves. No, it's God who sustains you. It's God who brought you out. Apostle, you, you said it. We've been in ministry over 30 years. We've been through the, the highs and the lows of ministry. We've been like Apostle Paul. I've been abased and then I've been abound. I've been abased, I've been abound. I'm not gonna act like I've always been on top. No, I've been on the bottom. I've been stepped on. I've been overlooked and underbooked. So, so, so I know, I know that God will sustain you regardless of what you go through, regardless of what you in. He will even sustain you in your storm. He will even sustain— he sustained the Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace. You know, they were in the fiery furnace and they didn't get burned, hair didn't get singed. They in there dancing with Jesus. Listen, let me tell you something. God is adamant about taking care of his children, and he's adamant about the unification, to come together, to be as one. That, that's why he said in the book of Genesis that a man should leave his mother and father and cleave to his wife, and they become one. I mean, it's way back in Genesis that God was thinking of oneness. He's always been thinking of oneness, to bring his children together in oneness. They will be in the unification. That unification produces power. We will see more people get healed and set free if we unify, even in our families.
Come on, sir. Yes, sir, I agree, Apostle. Listen, boss, we got about 5 more minutes, man. Listen, I want you to— because I feel the anointing of God, and I believe somebody's gonna come into this live by replay, and I believe they're going to be delivered, they're going to be healed, they're going to be set free just because of our oneness tonight.
Yes.
I think you quoted this scripture in the beginning. You said where two or three would gather in his name, yeah, that the Father would be in the midst of us. God is here right now, Apostle. Maybe someone's watching now, or they'll catch it by replay, whether they're on YouTube, Facebook, wherever they are. I believe somebody's gonna get set free. I want you to take a moment, Apostle, in these last moments, and I want you to pray for healing and deliverance for those that's listening to us. And whatever word that comes out of you prophetically, I want you to share it because I believe this is a moment where God wants to send something very profound and powerful over these airways and bring victory into the life of somebody.
I want to say to those that, um, are listening, that are watching right now, that just because this is your cell phone or your laptop or whatever it is, God is in the midst of us right now. His presence is not limited to anything. He's everywhere, and he's on this program tonight for those that need deliverance and those that need to be baptized in the Holy Ghost, those that need chains broken off of them, those that need to, uh, move out of this situation, those that need to come out of those storms. Father, we thank you in the name of Jesus that the chains are broken tonight, and God, that deliverance is taking place even as we speak to the highways and the atmosphere on this program. God, in the name of Jesus, God, save that woman, save that man, fill them with the Holy Ghost. In the name of Jesus, God, we thank you right now for the moving of the Spirit. We We thank you right now that it's already done, it's already fixed, God. It's already working. God, help them, uh, give them peace, God. Give them joy in the midst of their storm, God, in the name of Jesus. Let them know that the storm is not going to kill them, it's going to make them stronger, God, in the name of Jesus. We declare it, we decree it as apostles of God. You have mentored us, God, to speak this over the people of God, and we speak it tonight in the name of Jesus. We thank you right now in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. And I want to say to— there's about, there's about 5 women the Lord spoke to me just a few minutes ago. He said to tell them he's going to save their children. He's gonna say, I don't care what your son and your daughter is doing right now. I don't care where they at. I don't care what they smoking. I don't care what they drinking. I don't care what they're into. But God said, I'm gonna save them and fill them with the Holy Ghost. He said, I'm getting ready to answer these 5 women's prayer. I'm getting ready to answer your prayer. You've been praying and saying, God, when? God, when will my children be saved? God's getting ready to save them, and it's going to be a miracle. It's going to be phenomenal, and God's going to turn them around, and your household is going to be at peace.
Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. Thank you, Apostle, so much for being with us tonight, man. This has been a tremendous blessing. Take a moment to invite everybody out to the convocation next week.
Yes, August the 18th. Through the 21st, we are in Houston, Texas, and we are having the Oneness Convocation. It's going to be something that you have not experienced before. It's going to be— we're going to meet God there face to face. I want God to come face to face. He was face to face with Moses. Uh, he was face to face with Adam. I want God to come face to face in that meeting. You need to be there. Fly in, drive drive-in if you're in Louisiana, uh, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas. Come on, drive in. Apostle Dr. Woods will be there August the 18th, Wednesday night. You don't want to miss it. The man of God is going to be there 18th, uh, Wednesday night, and then he's going to come back 12 noon on the 19th of that Thursday and bless us with the word of God. It's going to be tremendous. We've got about 12 to 14 speakers that are going to be there. It's going to be powerful. God is not going to limit us in anything. We're going to serve God, we're going to praise God, and there's going to be apostolic and prophetic movement in the kingdom of God through this, uh, Oneness Convocation.
Absolutely. I want to just piggyback on that. Listen, if you're in the Houston area Mississippi, Dallas, anywhere, Baytown, Texas City, Texas, Austin, San Antonio, you need to get to Houston, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Yes, because it's gonna be a profound move of God the 18th through the 21st. We're kicking it off Wednesday night the 18th. You don't want to miss it. God has locked a word in my belly. I've been wanting to preach it. You won't let me preach it. I've had it for about a month. You need to be there to get what God is going to say. And listen, there's going to be an outbreak of miracles, healing, and deliverance. I don't want you to fear COVID. I don't want you to fear coming into the house of God. The Bible said that God is Jehovah Rapha. He is the Lord that heals us. There's no way he could put these things on us. He said, I'm the God that healeth me. He said, I won't put these diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians.
That's right.
Come to the house of God and get what you need. There's going to be great deliverance all 3 days.
Listen, go ahead.
Can I say this? We've got people coming from Oklahoma City, we've got people coming from, uh, McAllister, Oklahoma, from Dallas. We've got people coming from Atlanta, we've got people coming from Mississippi. People are coming in, they're driving in, they're flying in. And, uh, we're just going to come in oneness in the unification that, that those 4 days, 18th through the 21st, Houston, Texas. And if you need more information, they can inbox me on Facebook. I will send them the flyer.
