KINGDOM WARFARE | DR. MIKE WOODS SR. | RADAH CHURCH | 25 APRIL 2021

In this extensive sermon, Dr. Mike Woods Sr. delivers a passionate exposition on "kingdom warfare," presenting it as a spiritual battle fought not with worldly weapons but with divine power, testimony, and rest. He outlines three distinct kingdoms—the kingdom of man, the kingdom of Satan, and the kingdom of God—explaining how believers often fall into the first two by pursuing selfish ambition or confronting the devil with carnal tactics. The core of kingdom warfare, he asserts, is a "warfare of rest," where believers fight from the victory already secured by Christ, resting in God’s promises while actively engaging the enemy. He details the biblical foundations for this warfare (2 Cor 10:3‑5; Eph 6:10‑18; Hebrews 10:35‑36; Isaiah 41:10; Exodus 14:13‑15; etc.), describing the spiritual weapons (divine power, the Word, faith, prayer in the Spirit) and armor (truth, righteousness, peace, faith, salvation, the Spirit’s sword). He emphasizes the mind as the primary battleground, urging believers to demolish strongholds, take thoughts captive, and replace them with godly truth. The sermon repeatedly calls for testimony as a powerful tool that turns personal suffering into divine influence, and stresses diligence, confidence, and perseverance in prayer. Practical steps include specific prayer formulas, declarations of peace, and the posture of being "seated" in heavenly places. Throughout, the tone is exuberant and exhortative, aiming to inspire listeners to experience the kingdom’s power, live in victorious rest, and become effective agents of God’s kingdom on earth.

Right now Lord! Thank you for what you're doing! And God we decree and declare— What's to come is better than what has been! Yes God I hear You! And Spirit of the Living God would say unto us today glory to God that "What's to Come Shall Be Indeed!" better than what has been. For I say unto you today, my little ones, that I have never regarded your past to determine your future. As a matter of fact, the places where you have been, the things you have endured, the things you have survived, I have allowed them so that you may be able to move in a level of testimony. Yes. That will bring deliverance, that will bring victory to those who have endured the selfsame thing. But know this, my children. That your future has already been planned. And I heard the Lord say even that many shall be turned to righteousness because of your testimony. Many shall overcome Satan because of your testimony. For I say unto you, my children, testify, open your mouth, say to those that don't know me that what I have done for you. And know this, that there there shall be power in your testimony. For you stand even today, said the Lord, as a monument of what I'm able to do. For yes, you are a monument, said God, of deliverance. For know this even now, that your past was not in vain. Well, I allowed it to happen. Glory be to God. That I made a deal with others that if you got through, if you came out, that I would bring them out as well. Now show yourself, said God. Expose your light. Let the world know what I have done for you. For I have done great things. And lo, said the Lord, I am not finished. Oh, Shebaiah, for your future is filled with my glory and with my power and with my anointing, says the Lord. Glory be to God. Somebody ought to praise God for his word. Thank you, Lord. And praise God for the future. Glory to God. Yes, God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Yes, God. Glory be to God. God said, I don't regard your past. Yes, God. But I'm using it for my glory. Somebody needs to worship him. Somebody. Oh, glory be to God. Thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Thank you, God! We give you the glory. And we give you all the honor. Thank you, Jesus. Now, Father, bless us as we go into your word. Glory to God. Thank you for your presence that we feel right now, God, that your presence that is among us. And Father, I ask, glory to God, that you would send an anointing that makes teaching simple, that makes teaching easy. And when we leave this place, we'll get an understanding of what you're saying to us today. Those of us in this room and those that have watched this video online or wherever they may hear it or see it, I pray that deliverance would come. I pray that their eyes would be enlightened. Yes. And they will see your kingdom in a way they've never seen it before. And we praise you for it now. In Jesus' name, amen, and thank God. Can you say amen? Amen. Hallelujah. You can be seated. Glory to God. God is a good God. Jesus. He's a mighty and awesome God. Glory to God. And beside him, uh, there is no other. Praise God. Uh, this morning I'm going to continue our teaching on the kingdom experience. I've said it before and I'll say it again today, that the kingdom should not just be discussed. Amen. It should be experienced. God set it up that way. He really wants us not just to be a bunch of churchgoers who go to church week after week and never experience the advantages of his kingdom. Glory to God. Amen. Uh, the reality is that God, he never will shortchange us. Amen. Whenever we come short in any regard, it is because, glory to Jesus, we have failed to do what we're supposed to do to reach the blessing that God has laid out before for us. So this is message 9 of this message, and I pray that if you have not availed yourself of the other 8 messages, you should, because this is a lot of good information on the kingdom. Glory to God. And I want to talk today in message 9 about kingdom warfare. Say that with me. Say kingdom, kingdom warfare, warfare. And we want to— I don't know if I'm going to get through with this. There's a lot of things the Lord gave me here, but I'm gonna move through it as quickly as possible. I wanna just review really quickly what the word kingdom means. The word kingdom is from the Greek word basileia, and basileia means the God's rule, God's domain, God's authority. It is the majesty, the wealth, the impact, the influence of God. It is actually the throne of God— watch this— extended to his creation to have access to his majesty, his influence, his impact, his wealth. Glory to God. It's the king's domain. The kingdom is the king's dominion. I told you before, you cannot even talk about kingdom if there is no domain. Yes. You cannot have a king without land, without property, without territory. Mm-hmm. And the Bible says the earth is the Lord's. Yes. And the fullness thereof, them and they that dwell therein. I've also shared that earth was created as an extension for heaven. Mm-hmm. So that the creature that God created called human would be able to enjoy heaven on earth. Earth was never meant to be separate from heaven. Amen. Earth was meant to be a colony of the kingdom of heaven. Amen. Which means everything in the earth should be operating just like it's operating in heaven. We've already talked about that. So here's what I wanna understand today is that there is a battle, there is a fight for kingdom influence. Lord. Basically, in the— in existence, in the realm of the spirit and in the earth, you have basically three type kingdoms. One, you have the kingdom of man. The kingdom of man is where man takes his place, takes his authority, and he rules in his various areas. And many times what man has done is separated himself from God. And instead of building kingdoms to God, man has built kingdoms to himself. And it's not just even in the church world. You got the church who has— you got men in the church who literally build kingdoms to themselves. All right, they build churches to themselves, they build ministries to themselves, and that's not God's plan. So they find themselves in the kingdom of man because they're operating without the influence of the heavenly King. Mm-hmm. Everything they're building, they're building it out of selfish ambition and carnality. And that never was God's way. Then secondly, you have the kingdom of Satan. Believe it or not, the devil has a kingdom that's very structured, that's very organized. It's a spiritual kingdom. It's not carnal. You cannot view it with your natural eyes. You cannot fight in the kingdom of Satan with natural weapons. You can't take an Uzi to a fight against the devil. My God, glory to God. You can't take a.38 to a fight against a demon. You need the power of God. Are you hearing me? So the third kingdom is again the kingdom of God. It's God's rule. And every kingdom of the world should come subject to God's rule in way of doing things. And in order for that to happen, we as the people of God must learn kingdom warfare. We must learn to do warfare— watch this— God's way. See, we need— watch this— power. To defeat the devil. Somebody say power. Power. Come on, say it again. Say power. Power. That's something. Come on, say it one more time. Power. Power. That's something the church lacks. The church goes to church, we sing songs, we worship, we go through all the motions, but in the church today we see very little power. Yes. And God is not pleased with that. We have a lot of entertainment and little power. Yes. We have a lot of wonderful buildings and little power. Yes. We have a lot of massive mega ministry with little power. Yes. But in order to defeat the devil and take back the kingdoms of the world, we need power. Yes. You cannot throw a Mercedes-Benz at a demon. No. You cannot throw an airplane or a Bentley at a demon. So we might ought to be praying for more than stuff. Yes. We might ought to be asking God to give us power. Power. Because when we got power and we can bring the kingdom of the world under the subjection of the kingdom of God, we'll begin to see a great manifestations of God's glory. And we'll see tons of people Watch this, coming to the Lord. Yes. So we don't need these methods of warfare that wear us out and accomplish nothing. Kingdom warfare— I want you to remember this as I teach this today. This is substratum of everything I'm gonna teach. Kingdom warfare is a warfare of rest. I'm gonna say that again: kingdom warfare is a warfare of rest. And we're going to unpack this today, right? Because there's a war going on, and we as the people of God have to be engaged in this war so that we can get the stuff that belongs to us. But the reality is, and here's what I've learned, we've been fighting it wrong. I'm gonna tell you something, spiritual warfare is not waving your hands and speaking in tongues real loud and praying till somebody throws up. Mm, my Lord. You know, and for the record, I believe that demons will sometimes come out through purging. Yes, but that's not the only way. And God never called us to toil when casting out demons. If we had power, we wouldn't have to toil. We speak to it and it go. Are you hearing me? We lay hands and the demon will submit to the authority of God and go into dry places. But we do a lot of stuff in the name of God and call it warfare, and it becomes theatrics. And most of the time, the demon in the service is getting the whole attention. Whenever you're doing something inside of the King's house, yes, it should never take the focus off the King. Amen. If I cast out a devil, that person that's demon possessed should never get the whole attention to everybody, and we stop worshiping Jesus over that. We should be able to cast out a devil in power and keep it moving. Are you hearing me? And keep worshiping God. So we have stuff, we do stuff that wear us out, and that's not the will of God. The kingdom warfare is a warfare of rest. Yes, I need you to remember that as I teach this. So let's first, I gotta lay a backdrop for this this because we're talking about warfare, and you really can't talk about warfare if you don't discuss war. All right, you can't talk about war because the root of the word warfare is war. Yes, warfare is what happens when a war is going on. So there are basically 4 components of war. You write these down if you want to. The first component is weapons. Weapons. In every war that has ever been fought, there were weapons. So I want you to go to 2 Corinthians 10, verses 3 through 5, and what you're going to discover is that our weapons in this warfare are not carnal. Oh boy. They're not fleshly. They're not rooted in our imagination. They're not rooted in human strength or intelligence. So let's read this. The Bible says, for though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. So when we— when it comes to fighting this spiritual battle, we don't use the same type warfare or weapons or weapon tree that the world would use. We don't fight like the world fights. He said we don't wage war as the world does. Amen. So that means as a believer, watch this, I shouldn't even be reacting to attacks the way the world would react to attacks on me. Yes, that's true. So when somebody attacks someone, usually the first reaction is to retaliate. Yeah. And watch this, throw up your dukes. Yeah. Pull out your gun. Yeah. Go get your bat, whatever you use, because somebody attacked you. But the Bible clearly says if we don't wage war like the world does, amen, because we're in a different kingdom, right? Verse number 4, it says the weapons we fight with— and I'm reading out of the NIV— are not weapons of the world. On the contrary, We have divine power. Yes. Touch yourself and say, I got divine power. I got divine power. Come on, say it again. Say, I got divine power. I got divine power. Good God Almighty. I want you to understand that when you receive the baptism in the Holy Ghost, God gave you divine power. Hallelujah. The Bible said, you shall receive power after the Holy Ghost comes upon you. Touch yourself again and say, I got divine power. I got divine power. I need y'all to grab this today because we can jack the devil up every single time when we understand we're not fighting this battle like the world does. We have divine power to demolish strongholds. Let me stop right there really quick because this is important to kingdom, because in ancient kingdom kingdoms, every kingdom was surrounded by a stronghold. Stronghold was a really a defensive weapon that was built around the kingdom. It was a wall. It was designed to keep what's in, in, and what's out, out. I said it again, a stronghold is designed to keep what's in, in, and what's out, out. So watch this now. So when I get saved, I have to make sure I pull down every stronghold so that what needs to come out can come out and what needs to get in can get in. Yes. So that's why we got to pull down strongholds so God can have his way. Sometimes we can't get the message of the kingdom We can't receive the faith of the kingdom and the principles of the kingdom because there's a religious stronghold around our mind that makes us fight against new information, new ideas. And most people live in an antiquated thought process when it comes to things of the spirit because they got strongholds in their life that keep keep the kingdom message from penetrating. My God. And taking root in their lifestyle. So we got divine power though. Yes. To pull those strongholds down. Amen. I dare you to reach up and just pull it down. Just say, in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. I pull down every stronghold stopping me. Yes. Glory to God. From receiving new revelation. Kingdom information. Yes. Kingdom intelligence. In Jesus' name. In Jesus' name. Because sometimes that old friend can creep up. Yes. And that old stronghold can kind of rebuild itself. And you got to make sure you're daily engaged tearing that stronghold down. Yes, hallelujah. Close in verse 5. He said, we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. You got thoughts and intents and information and old intelligence. Yes, come on. That often will refute new knowledge, new information, new revelation. It sets itself up. Yes. Because it's a part of your DNA. When you get saved, your spirit gets saved. Yeah. And that's why you have to constantly be growing in the spirit, growing in the things of God, because your spirit now is born again. Yes. Lord, I love you. Help us to teach this today. He says, and we take captive every thought and make it obedient to Christ. Yeah. Wait a minute. So that means when a thought comes to my head, I shouldn't let that thought rule me. No. But I should take that thought, place it under arrest. Yes. Y'all ain't saying nothing. The Holy Spirit is like a sheriff. Yes. Hallelujah. And when a thought rises that's not God, you should summons the Holy Spirit. and said, arrest this thought and bring it into captivity. Throw it in jail. Yeah. Lock it up. Uh-huh. And so it never returns. All right. Oh my God. Mm-hmm. Somebody say weapons. Weapons. Say our weapons are not carnal. Our weapons are not carnal. The second concept of war, here we go, is armor. Yes, every warfare has a defense system, something to protect from the enemy. Go to Ephesians 6 and verse number 10. I'm just going to read, I'm not going to take a lot of time because I've got a lot to cover today. Ephesians 6:10 says, finally, be strong in the Lord and in the oh my God, in his mighty power. Yes. Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the devil's schemes. See, you need to be clear, the devil has schemes. Yes, he does. He's got tricks, he's got strategies to keep you bound, and how you stand against them is armor. All right, he says, watch this, verse 12, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, against authorities, against powers of this dark world. Come on. And against the spiritual forces of evil in, in the heavenly realms. You know, we have to learn really quick as believers that when a person is coming against us— watch this— we never wage war against the person. Wow. It's never the person coming against us. We don't war against flesh and blood. Our attacks are from the realm of the spirit. Yes, because the enemy— watch this, women— he has, he has rulers. Yes, in this world that's yielded to him. Yeah, that operates in darkness that he uses to come against your purpose. —my God. He has authorities— oh my God— in high places that come to stop kingdom purpose. Watch this. He has spiritual forces in the heavenly realms that's trying to stop us. So anytime something comes in the natural that's attacking us, that's diminishing our spirit, that's frustrating us, that's making us feel like we need to retaliate, remember, it's not the human. It's not. Spirit. You can go at that human and you will not get any ground. No, no, that's right. They will never change. You've got to attack that thing at the root. Yeah, the spirit. Because there's a spirit behind what they're doing. Whether it's an evil boss or coworker, you know, I don't understand how saints of God can go to work every day. I hear saints all the time and talk about, oh my God, them people at work, they give me a headache, they get on my nerves. I mean, all my life I've heard people say these things. And I'm like, well, you're a child of God. Why the devil giving you a headache? You ought to go in there with so much authority that your anointing that's on your life— that we have demons stopping by the church saying, boy, them saints at that job show is getting on my nerve. What is y'all doing over here? But seemingly the devil gets the best of us because we're attacking the people. We think it's the people, but it's the spirit. Yes, trying to frustrate your rest. Yes, I gotta go. Uh, verse 13 says, therefore put on the full armor of God so that when the day of evil comes, you will be able to stand your ground. And after you've done everything to stand, stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place. Verse 15, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all, take up the shield of faith. You notice faith is a weapon. Yeah, glory to God. Hallelujah. With which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. So whatever gets thrown at you, faith, yeah, can stop it. Lord have mercy. Glory to the name of— whatever the arrow or dart the enemy throws, you ain't got to be praying loud and squinting your eyes and looking deep and wonderful and slinging oil. No, you need some faith. Because you know what I found out? Most of those people that squint their eyes and look all deep and wonderful, they don't have no faith. They don't believe half of what they're doing because most of what they're doing is an act. Yes, they couldn't heal a flea with with a headache. Have mercy. And at the end of the day, couldn't cast a devil out of a mosquito. Oh, because they don't have no power, they have no faith. They just learn what they learn in church and that's what they do. Yes, but we need faith to defeat the enemy for real. He said take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, and pray in the Spirit on all occasions. Hallelujah. With all kinds of prayer. For those of you that are against speaking in tongues, he said pray in the Spirit on all occasions. I heard somebody teaching a few weeks ago, just, they were trying their best to teach against tongues. And I was listening to the message. Every time it come up and they read a scripture, they have to justify what the scripture was saying about tongues, but they were trying to teach against it. Wow. We need to pray in the Spirit. Yes, we do. Jude says, building up yourself in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Yeah. So when you pray in tongues, you're building up your holy faith. Yes. Hallelujah. Glory to God. You should pray until you get to tongues. Yes. Hallelujah. Until the Holy Spirit takes over and begins to make intercession. Prayer, hallelujah, that you can't utter. I, I, I, are y'all hearing this? Yes. He said pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people. Say armor. Armor. So again, our weapons are not carnal, right? And our armor is is not carnal. Third element— glory to God— third element of war is enemy. There's no need for armor, there's no need for weapons if you don't have an enemy. And I want to say to you again, the enemy is the devil. And demons. It is a spiritual war, not a physical war. It makes, it makes me itch. It makes my, my— glory to the name of God— uh, body just go into rashes when I think about, glory to God, how the church fights with each other, how we're competitive toward each other, how we'll make somebody that's in the same army, the same family, an enemy. Yes. Hallelujah. One thing I learned when I was in the military is that every one of my teammates, everybody in my company, no matter what color they were, no matter what size they were— watch this— no matter what rank they were, we had one vision, one team, and one enemy. Yes. So whatever was determined as the enemy, we had a vision to defeat that enemy. And we had a vision to do it as a team. Yes. Never were we to fight against each other. Think about that. You got two soldiers in the battlefield and they go to shoot at each other. That is totally nonproductive. And we have so much of that in the world today. We spend too much time competing, trying to destroy one another. We should have one vision. Yes. One team, one kingdom team. And one enemy is the devil. No, I said again, no human being is your enemy. Yes. And then the fourth component of war, I spent too much time on this, is battleground. The battleground is not carnal. I said again, it's not carnal. It's invisible. It's mind, will, emotions. The battleground is your mind. It's your soul. Oh my God. Listen, you cannot live a positive and fruitful kingdom life and have a negative mind at the same time. And this is where the enemy brings the fight to. He brings it to your mind. Again, we read it. He brings thoughts. Yes, and he wars with you and your thoughts. Oh my God. So here's what I learned, and this lesson I learned a long time ago. Matter of fact, uh, a minister in the church I was in when I was in DC, her name was Elder Lawana Khalil. It's a great woman of God, great praying woman. Learned a lot from her. She said to me one time, son, she said, listen, when the enemy brings thoughts to your mind, she says, stop everything you're doing and listen. She said, if you listen, your vine, he'll shut up because he's sneaky. He doesn't want you to be attentive. He wants to sneak it in and lie to you. So she says, "Stop and listen." And so that's something I practice often. So the enemy brings a thought to my mind, 'cause none of us are exempt from thoughts. Again, they exalt themselves. So what I do, I stop and I think. As soon as I start thinking, he stops. Then I summons the Holy Ghost, place it under arrest. Bring it into obedience. Because here's the greatest power you can have in the battleground of your mind. Watch this. Is the ability to choose one thought over another. See, your actions are always going to be reflective of what you're thinking. Yes. Whatever you manifest in your life, it starts in your mind. Yes. Sex doesn't start in the bed. Matter of fact, by the time you get in the bed, it's almost over. For a lot of people, by the time they get to the bed, it's over real quick. Yes. But they done played out the whole thing in their mind. It didn't start on the couch with hugging and kissing. It started here. Yes. Fornication and adultery doesn't start when you lay down and do it. It starts with thought. Yes, that is influenced from a spirit, a demon. Fornication, adultery, that says, okay, you can have that, and you go to lust it, and then you're drawn away of your own lust and you enter into sin. Started with a thought, but you got to learn to choose. Listen to them bad thoughts and they'll stop. When the devil starts talking, he'll shut up the moment you pay attention because he wants to trick you. Yes. And then listen to the Holy Spirit. Yes. And follow what he says. Listen, here's the reality. We're in a war. Kingdom warfare, again, is the war a warfare of rest. Yes. And here's what I want you to grab today. We are fighting from victory. My God, we ain't fighting to get the victory, otherwise Jesus died for nothing. Yes, we're fighting because Jesus already won the victory. and the only reason we fight is because the enemy don't want us to have the fullness of that victory. Hallelujah. He don't want us to have the wealth, the debt-free living, the healed bodies. He don't want us to have the fullness that the cross brings, so he keeps throwing darts. Yes. And what we do is, instead of trying— fighting it the right way, doing warfare the king's King's Way, fighting from victory. So in other words, isn't that amazing that you can just think of you as a boxer and you were boxing Mike Tyson and you already knew before you got in the ring that you were going to win? Yeah, you're, you're just going through the motions basically because you're fighting from victory. Yeah. And somebody said, how's that gonna happen? Mike Tyson would beat any average person now. But watch this, no, If Mike Tyson makes a deal in the back room to say, okay, I'm gonna throw the fight, I'm gonna lay down, I ain't gonna even hit him hard, and we all gonna get out of here and get this money, right? So everybody's already negotiated that, you know you gonna win. You're fighting from victory. Same thing in life. Jesus already made the deal. He already settled our future on the cross. Already settled our healing, our deliverance, our prosperity. Everything we need to exist is already settled. Yes, by this we're walking through the process. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Because the enemy hates the fact that we already got it. Yes. And so many believers do not see the manifestation because they're trying to fight a fight that's already won. Lord have mercy. When you talk about kingdom warfare being a warfare of rest, yes, that's really oxymoronic. Yes. How can you have rest and war? Oxymorons say that these things 2 things that totally exist opposite, but they can be accomplished. Like, let me give you an example of some oxymorons. Like President Trump. Trump and president never went together, right? Okay, so that's an oxymoron. But he became the president. An oxymoron is also, is to act, watch this, when somebody says act natural, Yeah. Well, if you're acting, how are you being natural? Yeah. But again, that's oxymoronic. Yeah. You can actually act natural. How about we're alone together? Everybody's gone and we alone together. Yes. How are we alone and together? Because both of us are here. Are you hearing this? I'm just trying to show you what oxymorons are. Just give you a brief understanding. How about clearly confused? Yeah. How are you clearly confused? So oxymoronic in this sense, God says, I need you to understand that your warfare is a warfare of rest. Yes, you fighting for victory and you just need to rest. Yes, yes. Watch this, we read it in Ephesians 6. He said, having done all to stand, stand, stand. Yes, watch this. So, so stand in the Greek, because, because I found that to be oxymoronic, so I looked it up. Stand in the Greek is histaymi, H-I-S-T-A-Y-M-I. W-E-E. And it means to stand still in rest. Lady Felicia just said it, to stand in peace, to be safe and sound. Glory to God. So after I've done everything I can do to rest to stand in peace. He said stand some more. Yeah, keep standing, keep resting, because your fight is already won. Yes, hallelujah! You're safe, you're sound. This thing can't harm you. No, no, the fight at this point is a formality. Yes, hallelujah! Glory to God! Look at Hebrews 4:3. Let's watch this. He says, for we who have believed— because we got to get to this rest, right? Yes. Do enter that rest as he said. So I swore in my wrath, they shall not enter my rest. Let's read verses 10 and 11. Although the works were finished from the foundation of the world, for he who has entered his rest has himself also ceased from his works, as God did from his. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience. Wait a minute, he says the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Why are you trying to work? Why are you trying to war? I've already finished this thing. You ain't got the war. Glory to God. You just rested in me. He said, enter the rest. He said, so you ceased from your works. Yeah, you're not operating in your flesh, in your own energy. This is what he's saying. You're not trying to figure it out yourself, but you rest in the promises of God. Yes, he said, let's— let us therefore be diligent to enter this rest. Diligent. Diligent is a powerful word. It means to pursue hard after. Our greatest challenge is not really the war against the enemy, it's getting to a place where we rest, where we take our hands off stuff. Come on, and let God be God. Yes, because you know, we're so used to being in control. We're so grown. Yeah, we're so independent. We're so used to doing it our way. But God says, when you come to me, you come childlike. I don't care if you're 85, God said come childlike. Glory be to God. He said, because I'm gonna take care of you. And we gotta rest in the fact that our Daddy got us. Yeah. Oh boy, yes he does. So, so how do I move into this rest? Where do I need to be diligent most? I'm glad you asked. Believing causes us to enter rest. Doubters will never enter into rest. Their actions show They don't want to rest. Show their unbelief. Okay, y'all don't believe it? Go to Hebrews 6:11. I want to show you that we got to believe in and through as well as for. See, a lot of people just believe God for something, but you got to learn to believe God in something. Yes, hallelujah! And believe God through something. See, people believe God for a car, for a house, for money, for healing, but can you believe God in sickness? Can you believe God through the process of waiting on God? Mm. Ooh. Watch what he says in Hebrews 6:11. He says, and we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end. In other words, don't, don't start out like a firecracker. He said, I need you to believe to the end. The diligence you had when you started, he said, I need you to keep that passion, keep that fire, keep that diligence all the way, all the way to the end. Yes, hallelujah! You know, there are some folk when they first get born again They so on fire for the Lord. I'm talking about they so on fire, you can see they smoke before they get in the door. Smoke come in for them, they on fire. But a few years later, ice water done got on that fire something. Somebody done put that fire— they don't have the same diligence. They slow for— they start out good, they start out loyal, start out committed, start out coming to church. Something— yes— interrupts that diligence. But God said we got to believe to the end. We got to believe in and through and for. Oh my God, here you got saints, they get up and tear the church up in testimony service, on fire. And as soon as life hit They act like they lost their best friend. Yes. But you got to believe in and through and for. Amen. Say that with me. Say in, in, through, through, and for. And for. That brings you direct. You got to go all the way through. Yes. Go to Hebrews 10, verses 35 and 36. Glory to God. Y'all getting anything out of this? Yes, sir. The kingdom warfare is a warfare of rest. Watch this. Hebrews 10:35-36, it says, therefore do not cast away your confidence. The word confidence there in Greek is parrhesia. It's a freedom of speech. All right. A freedom of access and frankness, a boldness of speech to God. Do you realize we can speak boldly to God concerning his word? Yes. And we can speak confidently that what we're saying to him, he's gonna do. So the Bible says here, don't cast away that freedom. In other words, he's really saying don't stop praying with confidence. Yes. The best way to pray with confidence is to pray the word. Yes. Yes, because the word can't lie. No. And God's gonna always honor his word. Yeah. The Bible says in 1 John, if you ask anything according to his will, he'll do it. Yes. His will is his word. So when I pray his word in confidence, he gravitates to it. Yes, he does. He says, so don't cast away your confidence because your confidence has great reward. Yes. Verse 38. 36. He said, for you have need of endurance so that after you've done the will of God, you may receive the promise. Amen. So God has made us some promises. Yes, he has. Say, promises made. Promises made. And then watch this, he wants to keep his promises. Promises made, promises kept. So we need to get to the point where we can say, when people look at you and say, how did you get that million dollars? How did you get that debt-free house? How did you get a debt-free car? How did you get where you are today? Why are you so powerful? Promises made, promises kept. Just that simple. How— how— why are you so happy? Promises made, promises kept. Why everybody got COVID but you? Promises made, promises kept. 'Cause God says, but you gotta go all the way through. Yes. You, watch this. 3 things here. Confidence. Yes. Patience. And action. So you gotta be confident in your prayer. Bold, frank, free to pray the word. And then you gotta have patience. Again, you're believing in in and through. And then you take an action the whole time, because the Bible said after you've done the will of God, you will receive the promise. So you got to do your part. Yes. Hallelujah. Part of his will is rest. Yes. Hallelujah. The question often comes up When we're warring or toiling for something, or waiting on something, or believing for something, or even doing it right and resting, why is God taking so long? Yes, I know I didn't ask the question for a long time. Why is this taking so long? Why haven't you brought me out of this sooner? I prayed this prayer in my life a lot. The answer is always I'm gonna get you out when I get you out. Yeah. And I'm gonna be through when I'm through. Yes. Because I'm working on something you can't even see. Yes. Because God doesn't want us to ever be prematurely released into something that we're not qualified to keep. Yes, right. So many times people get prematurely released into things that they're not qualified to handle, qualified to raise. Qualified to, oh my God, carry full term. And it's trials that get us there. Listen, God is getting us ready for frontline battle. Yes, he is. See, if we're gonna battle on the frontline, we gotta go through the process. Yes, yes. Go to Isaiah 41:10. The Bible says, fear not, for I am with you. Hallelujah. So I'm not gonna be afraid of what the enemy is bringing to me. Amen. Because God's on my side. Yes, he is. Hallelujah. I'm not gonna fear what the enemy tries to terrorize my mind with concerning COVID, concerning cancer, concerning anything, because the Bible says God is with me. Yes. And this is God speaking through the prophet. Yes, it is. This God told me, he said, fear not, I'm with you. Yeah. The next time you feel like being afraid, turn to Isaiah 41:10 and let God talk to you. That's it. So fear not, be not— well, I am with you. Be not dismayed. Yes. Don't be confused. This name is confusion. Yes. Glory to God. He said, don't be confused, don't get it twisted. Yes. Are y'all hearing me? I'm your God. Yes. It may not look like it, I may be moving real slow right now, but trust me, I'm gonna bring you out. Yeah. He says, I will strengthen you. Yes, God. Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. In other words, he said, I'm gonna uphold you with my hand of authority. Yes, you're going through now, but I'm gonna reach down with my long arm. Yes, and my strong hand. And I'm gonna pick you up from where you are, and I'm gonna carry you into my destiny because because you chose to stand through. Yes, Lord. See, this Frontline Training is to make you an example. Come on. So you can testify like the word of the Lord came forth earlier to others. Yes. And you can train others to endure. Yes, hallelujah. In the Marines, in order to be an infantry Marine, These men and women who choose to go on the front line have to endure 14 weeks of training. Wow. And here's the catch: the trainings are in various areas of emotional, physical— watch this— and mental discipline. Yes. In the training, most of it has nothing to do with shooting and killing. They're trying to get their mind right in this training. 80% of it is mindset. Yeah. It's shifting them to be willing to die on the front line if necessary. The shifting their mindset to see somebody die next to them and keep moving. Yeah. Because that's, that's, that's a hard piece if you You with somebody, they head get blown off, you gotta keep fighting. You next to somebody, they head get blown off, you can't panic and freak out. No. Your mind's got to be right. That's right. And so God gives us the ability to go through things so that our mind's right, so that when other people are dying off, we as apostolic and prophetic people can keep forging the way. Yes. Yes, come on. And keep leading people to the promise of the kingdom. That's right. 'Cause we ain't freaking out 'cause what's happening. We steadfast. Yes. We're unmovable. Unmovable. We're always abounding in the work of the Lord. For as much as we know our labor is not in vain. Lord have mercy. So God, he will many times discipline us, hear me, He'll many times discipline us through trials. Yes. So that he can teach us to trust him. Yes. And believe him in bad times. Oh my God. We just gotta learn sometime how to stay calm. Come on, son. In adversity. Adversity. Yes, ain't no need freaking out when pressure comes. That's right. Watch this, nothing— and remember this all the days of your life as you're learning to rest in warfare. When adversity comes, remember, nothing is as big as it first appears. Think about this in your life. All the stuff when it hit, how you freaked out. Yeah. You know what? At the end of the day, you freaked out, hollering, mad, crying, but you got over it. That's right. When you look back over your shoulder now, you survived it. You're still standing. And a couple of days went by, it wasn't bad as you thought. Yeah. Nothing is ever as big as it first appears. Adversity is designed to teach us what we really believe. When you go through a period or a season of adversity, it has showed up in your life to really give you and others a revelation of your belief system. The root of the word adversity is ad. The word ad, A-D, adversity is a marketing tool that actually gives information about a product or service. So adversity— God will send you to through adversity, trouble, trial, to communicate to others out of the adversity who he is. Adversity teaches you and others because what you believe, it becomes a marketing tool for God. Oh, they with me. They can stand through it. They've been through it. And those that survive are the ones that God can trust with more. I believe today I'm talking to survivors. Whether you're here or watching this video, I'm talking to people who have survived stuff that other folk died in. That's right. You survive things that other folk lost their mind over. Yes, hallelujah. You survive stuff that people— glory to the name of God— they stop serving God, they backslide over, but you're still standing. Yes, hallelujah. And your adversity is a power, it's a light that shows the world that God is real. Yes, Lord. Listen, if they burn all the Bibles, if they close down every church, yes, I am a living epistle written and read of men, and my life is a testimony to what God is able to do. If it had not been for God, I'd already be dead. If it had not been for God, I would have lost my freaking mind. But at the end of the day, because of the hand of God— Thanks and blessed on me. Hallelujah. Glory to God. My life can teach a lesson. That God is real. Yes, he is. Hallelujah. No, brother, you say yes, God is real. Yes, for I can feel him in my soul. Yes, he's real. He real. He real. He's alive. And adversity brings you closer to who he is. You know, if you wouldn't have had some troubles you wouldn't have prayed like you prayed. Amen. Oh, come on. If everything was good— Yes. —so God bothers you with adversity to make you better. Yes. Look, let's look at it. Psalms 94, verses 12 and 13. I'm almost through, I think. Y'all getting something out of this? Uh-huh. Can I teach it? That's right. Got it. Psalm 94, verses 12 and 13. It says, blessed is the man whom you instruct. Oh Lord, teach out of your law that you may give him rest in the days of adversity. Yes. Until the A pit is dug for the wicked. Uh, Psalms 94 is what I like to call pitology. Pitology. Uh, pit and ology. Ology is the study of. So this verse gives us a study in pits. My God. Because one, God creates a pit for the believer and he instructs him the word instruct there is discipline. Blessed is the man who he disciplines and teaches the word through his trouble. Yes. So God says we're blessed when we are able to be disciplined by God. Yes. And taught the word. Yes. In trouble. And then he says what it does, it— when we're in the pit, it gives rest from the days of adversity. Yeah. So when things come against us, because we've had some pits and we've overcome some things, when those things hit us, they hit different. Because we can say, I've been there, done that, got the t-shirt. I already have overcome this before. I'm just like I did before, I'm gonna win again. Yes. Are y'all hearing me? God has done It's just as powerful as his will do. Yeah. If he did it before, he'll do it again. And if you survived it before, you will survive it again. Mm-hmm. You just gotta choose to trust the pit. Oh my God. He said, because guess what happens? He said, then pits are dug for the wicked. So God pulls you out of the pit only to put the wicked in the pit so they'd be there forever. Yes, my goodness. See, don't— we should never go through hell to hell. When we go through hell, we should come out and have heavenly living. Yes, some people going through hell to hell. Yes, that's a dangerous thing. And for the most part, they doing it because they don't even believe there is a hell these days. Hallelujah! Glory to God! So God doesn't come sooner because he's preparing us, teaching us how to rest. He's teaching us how to sit down. Here's my next point: we are seated See, see, we can warfare in rest because we are seated in heavenly places. Somebody say, I'm seated. I'm seated. Hallelujah. We are seated. Go to Ephesians 2, verses 5 and 6. I'm gonna get through this. The Bible says, even when who, when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ. By grace you have been saved. Yes. And raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Say heavenly places. Heavenly places. Go to Ephesians Ephesians 1:20. The Bible says this, Ephesians 1:20, which he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places. So we're in heavenly places. Yes, Christ is in heavenly places. The reason we're in heavenly This is because Christ dwells in us. Yes. And he sits in heavenly places. Heavenly places, the compound Greek word is epi-ronios, which means— watch this— it's the superimposing of heaven on anything. Wow. It's when heaven superimposes itself on your finances, on earth, on your body. Yes. That's a heavenly place. Yes, when he superimposes himself on your home, Christ ought to be seated at the throne of every position in your life. Hallelujah. Go to Hebrews 1, verse 3. The Bible says this: Who being the brightness of his glory and the express image of his person and upholding holding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down— somebody say seated— seated at the right hand of the Majesty on high. I read verses 1 and I read verse 3 and verse 13. Glory to God. So what do we see here? Here's the pattern. Jesus was always described as seated. So seated, again, it's the foundation on which one rests. Yes. To fix firmly in place. If I brought a chair in there and I sat down, I will be seated. Your position now, you are seated. When it comes to warfare, guess what? You should be seated. Okay, glory to God. Sit down and let him be in control. So So how does that equate to rest? So rest, watch this, is not a rest from work, but it's a rest in work. Again, that sounds oxymoronic, right? It's not from work, but it's in work. Why? How do I rest in work? Because I'm fighting for victory. I'm at peace while I'm carrying out my purpose and my assignment. I don't live in worry and let the devil control my mind with worrisome thoughts about my future, about my life, because I'm resting in work. Yes. Hallelujah. Watch this. Rest also deals with ideas that you have rest while being active. It's not inactivity. It is rest while being active. That means you're doing things, but you're at rest while you're doing it. You're not on your job worried about who they're going to lay off, because you're at rest. You know God's got you no matter what happens. That's right. You're not worried about what happens if you walk out tomorrow. Amen. Because you're rested. And all your activities are controlled by God. Yes. Oh my God, we got to get this, saints. Watch this. You got to get all your faculties harmoniously working together. Yes. Because each one of your faculties has to find satisfaction in him. Amen. Wow. Your mind has to be satisfied with him. Your body needs to be satisfied with him and what he provides. You got to work in life harmoniously with God and be at peace with what he says do. That's rest. Rest is also spiritual place. This is what I learned for me, where I sit down spiritually now and cease struggling on the outside. Uh-huh. Where I stop leaning on the works of the flesh, my own mind, my own understanding. And this is just how I look at it for me. You know, the moment I graduate from how I think it ought to be done and just trust him. Yeah. Yeah, it all works. It does. But every time I get involved, it doesn't. So you got to cease from the works of the flesh. Wow. And then you gotta cease struggling on the inside too, because sometimes we're battling on the inside and we get upset and frustrated when things are not going our way. Yes, yes, yes, yes. You know, I've had some days in my life when I look back where I would be so frustrated all day long because I was battling back and forth as to why something I was trying to do wasn't working the way I wanted it to work. Yes. And so because that wasn't working, any little thing got on my nerves. Yes. I could drop something and get mad. Yeah. I mean, just dropped it. All I had to do was pick it up, but be mad because I dropped it. Yeah. Just frustrated on the inside, and it starts reflecting. That's not rest. No, it's not. Turmoil. Rest is saying, no matter where I am, yes, God has me. Hallelujah. Say that, woman. Say, no matter where I am, no matter where I am, God has me. God has me. Go to John 14:27. Say, we are seated. We are seated. Watch this. It says, peace I leave with you. Yes, my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. He said, so I'm giving you peace, which is sirene in Greek, which is the presence of assistance, not the absence of confusion. He said, I'm here to help you so you can be at peace. I think the quicker believers learn how to really walk in peace A lot of the mental health issues we see in society today would cease. Yes. A lot of drug addiction and alcohol abuse would cease. Most people that turn to drugs and alcohol, there's a lack of peace somewhere. Yes. Come on. And they're looking for peace in a bottle. Yes. They're looking for peace in drugs. Yes. And at the end of the day, Jesus said, peace I leave you. Yes. He got you. Again, it's a gift. With them. Yes. And I'm not giving it to you like the world gives. The world gives expecting something in return. Yes, right. Whenever the world system gives you something, you better believe there are strings attached. Conditions. Yes, sir. Nothing is free. My daddy taught me that. He's still my son. Nothing in life is free. You can believe all you want that things are just going to fall out the sky. It took me a while to get it because my faith was crazy. I was waiting for stuff to fall out of the sky. Yes. And he used to tell me, how you work is a reflection of your fruit. Come on. Ah, glory. And he wasn't just telling me something because I saw it displayed in him. He was a hardworking man that worked every day. And based on his work, it yielded the fruit of his life. Yes. Your fruit is a reflection of how you work. Yes. And so God says, I give you peace, not like the world give it. I ain't expecting nothing but faith, but trust. Just rest. He said, let not your heart be troubled. Yes. The word trouble there is torasso in Greek. Don't let your heart be agitated, frustrated, in despair. You shouldn't let people get you depressed. Amen. And all agitated and bent out of shape. Oh my God, I was notorious for this. Thank God for deliverance. Yes. Yes, God. I'm a priestess and my heart was troubled. Yes. I was living for God, but I had a troubled heart. Yes. Come on, son. Because I wasn't at peace on how things were going to turn out. I wasn't sure. I didn't take the first part of the verse because you can't deal with let not your heart be troubled if you don't receive peace. Come on. That comes from God. Yes, it does. I was trying to create my own peace. Peace. Yes. And my own way, and that wasn't the way. That is not. God says, I gave you the gift of peace. Yes, God. Thank you, Lord. Oh God, thank you, Jesus. Use it. Yes. We got to stop allowing ourselves to be upset. We got to rest. Yes. God, I, I could just— I look back on my life and just remember. I thank God today, y'all, for deliverance. Yes, hallelujah! Because I had some real anger issues. Yes, glory! Because I was troubled in my heart, because I had bitterness and resentment and unforgiveness in there. And hopefully I'm helping somebody today. And it didn't take much to get me flared up. I thought everybody was against me. I thought everything was attacked. So I stayed on the defense. I stayed all ready to attack and fight when really I should have been resting. Yes, Lord. Thank you. In the peace of God. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Listen, if you study Old Testament priests, whenever they ministered, they couldn't sit down. No, they had to perform all of their duties standing. Yes. But watch this. Jesus died on the cross. Yes. And said, it is finished. —yes, and he sat down. He went to the right hand of his Father and sat. He said, "It is finished." Glory. Listen, we are— and I'm almost done— the house of the Lord. We're his sanctuary. He lives in us. The Bible says that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. This is where God dwells for real. Religion don't, don't want people to experience that reality. Religion wants people to study and become knowledgeable, but never will empower them to know God for real. Because the problem is most of the leaders teaching don't realize he He's there neither. My goodness, Jesus. But he lives in us for real. He walks with me. He talks with me along my life's narrow way. He lives. He lives. Salvation to impart. Ask me how I know he lives. He lives. Yes. Within my heart. Yes. He's alive. Yes. Touch yourself. Say, I'm the sanctuary. I'm the sanctuary. So if you are the house of the Lord, watch this, no matter what comes against you, you gotta keep the house peaceful. You gotta keep your mind, make it sit down. When your mind starts trying to stand up and those thoughts rise up, we read it earlier, tell your mind, sit down. Yeah, bring it down, keh ti. 'Cause this is the house of God, sit down. Yes. You gotta make your will sit down. Yes. Your will wants to do something that's wrong. Tell it, sit down. Yes. We don't do that. We don't live like that. We are the house of the Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Tell your emotions when they want to get bent out of shape, don't nobody love me, sit down. Yes. Now tell it, sit down. Yes. Yes, Lord. Listen. Listen, we don't let our children run around the house and destroy. They go tearing up stuff, we say, "Sit down!" That's time, yeah. Glory to God. Same thing in the house of God. You shouldn't let anything in your life disrupt your peace and your rest. Yes. Jesus. Tell it to sit down. Sit down. Just like you would a child that was tearing up something. Yes. Hallelujah. I'm almost done. We gotta wear— and I'm coming too quickly to a close— our shoes of peace. We read that in the end when we read about the armor. He says, shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. So every day you get up, if you want to fight from victory and war in rest, you got to put on peace shoes. When you put on your natural shoes, you should be praying, Lord, let me walk in peace today. Yes, Lord, let every step I take be one of peace. Yes, God, no matter what comes against me, let me respond in peace. Yes, God, let me respond with the right attitude. Let me show you. Go, go to Exodus 14:13. Let me, let me show you why. Exodus 14:13-15. I'm not going to read, I'm just going to tell you what to say in a nutshell. Y'all write it down, read it later. Those, those 3 verses say, hold your peace and the Lord will fight for you. Come on, son. Amen. So I, I know you want to fight, mm-hmm, because Black people, especially from the ghetto, We got a nature to want to fight. Glory to God. But the Lord says, hold your peace. He said, I got this one. I'll fight for you. And this is how you pray when the battle comes to you and you feel like fighting. Just say, Lord, in the name of Jesus, you said in Exodus 14:13-15, if I hold my peace, that you would fight this battle. So Lord, I have no need to fight. No. And I decree and declare that you're fighting on my behalf right now in the name of Jesus. Jesus' name, amen. Hallelujah. Hold your peace. Yes. Put on the shoes of peace. Go, write it down. Don't go to it. 2 Chronicles 15 says the same thing basically. The battle is not yours. It's yours, but the Lord's. It belongs to him. So let's stop fighting battles that God says, I got this. Yes, hallelujah. We're fighting battles, watch this, that God says, I just want you to concentrate on me as king. I want you to rest in me and love on me and trust that I got you in peace. Yes, glory. Sometimes you can be disrupt your peace by making— watch this here, somebody ain't gonna like this, but I don't care— by making everything the devil. My gosh, let them help you. Everything's not the devil. Put him in charge. Some things are you. I'm saying again, everything is not a demon. Some things are you, and you must learn the difference. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Devil's probably somewhere weeping and crying, and if you walked up to him and asked him what's wrong, he said, you know, it was them church folk always putting stuff on me. Wow. And it wasn't even my fault that time. Now we're giving more credit that he's doing. Yes. Oh, that's a demon, that's a demon. Everything ain't a demon. Something is what you want to do. That's right. And you need to bring your flesh under subjection. Yes. Okay. And you compromise your peace when you constantly are idle and bringing the devil in. The idle mind is the devil's workshop. But the scripture also says keep your mind stayed on him. Yes, he'll keep you in perfect peace. Hallelujah. Here's my last thing, last point. I hope y'all learning something today. Oh yes, you gotta enter rest. And this, this is where a lot of saints struggle, because again, the warfare mostly is with us. Within, it was something about our personal self. And as I was studying this last night, the Lord began to show me me and how my life— it's hard for me to preach or teach something if I am not one with it. I gotta see myself in it. And so the Lord said, son, you battled with this a lot. Now I dress well because I just like to dress well. But there was a time in my life that I was concerned about what people thought. I did it not just for me, I did it for others. There was a time in my preaching and teaching I needed to hear somebody say, "Man, you preached today." Now I don't care. Yeah. Glory to God. I don't care if nobody says anything. I know I prayed before I got here, so as long as he's magnified— but you gotta enter rest because this can be the biggest warfare for you concerning your own perfection. Sometimes we battle with ourselves because we think we're imperfect. We think we're not enough. And here's what I want you to realize: Jesus Christ himself is our intercessor. Yes, he has already interceded for our perfection. Glory to God. 1 John 2:1, watch this. He says, my little children— that's you and I— told you when we come come into the presence of God, we should come childlike. Yes. He said, my little ones, these things I write to you that you may not sin. He said, watch this, and if anyone sins, we have an advocate with the Father. Yes. Jesus Christ the righteous. Sometimes we create our own warfare through through mistakes we make. And God says, I'm writing this to you so you will know you're my children and I'm interceding for you. And if you happen to sin and fall on your way to doing what I call you to be in your maturity process, he says, you got an advocate, with the Father. Yes, Jesus Christ the righteous, he's interceding for us. The reason God ain't killed us before now for sin is because of Jesus. Hallelujah. Amen. So stop beating yourself up when you mess up. Do you know what? The moment we repent, God forgives us. Amen. It don't take God hours to forgive us. As soon as you repent and say, Lord, I'm sorry, you're godly sorry, and you go through whatever you go through in prayer, when you come out of prayer, you're forgiven. The moment you repent. But you guess what? The reality is most people beat themselves up and walk in guilt for days, for years, and God already forgave him. Yeah, he already cast him to the sea of forgetfulness to remember it no more. And that's the amazing thing about God. That ought to make you want to truly repent and change your mind and your behavior and not do it again, because God is so loving. Yes, that you shouldn't want to disappoint him. But if you do, yes, he says, I got you. You're not going to die over this. Lord have mercy. Last scripture, y'all. Go to Romans 8:34. Because again, we— it's hard for us to really be effective in being a light to the world when we're beating ourselves up over our perfection. Yes. And that's not what God wants us to do. And we're fighting fighting a war within, saying, "Oh God, can't use me, I did that." Lord, I've done a myriad of stuff that wasn't right. That's right. But thank God for his grace and mercy. Hallelujah. Thank God for his advocacy. Thank you, Jesus. And standing in the gap for me. Yes. Hallelujah. I wouldn't be standing here today except he would have done it. Oh, hallelujah. Romans 8:38. The Bible said, who is he who condemns? Is it Christ who died and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us? The inquiry is clear. Yes, Christ doesn't forgive. He, he doesn't condemn. We condemn ourselves. Ourselves. Yes, yes, yes. The Bible said there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, to those who are in Christ Jesus, who have been made free. Yes, hallelujah, from the law of sin and death. Mhm. So Christ set us free from the law, and the law of sin and death says that if you sin, you die. Yes, but Christ set us free from that penalty. Yes. So we shouldn't condemn ourselves and fight God over forgiving us. You know, there's some people that literally fight God. Yes. Over forgiveness. God done forgave them, they still crying out to God. And God, I'm sure God's in there saying, would you please just let it go? Yeah. I done forgave you. Would you please just get up, take a stand, take your position, let me use you, and stop whining about this. I know you did it. I forgave you. Yes, hallelujah. My blood is on it. Yes, hallelujah. And thank God he don't forgive like people do. Hallelujah. That's right. See, we think God is like man. No, he's not. And God is not like man. No. The Bible said his ways are not our ways. His thoughts are not our thoughts. His thoughts are as far from the east end to the west as ours. Yes. Yes, hallelujah. So it may take a human years to forgive you, but God says the moment you repent, yes, I advocate on your behalf. So we gotta win the war within. Yes, glory. Because many times kingdom warfare ain't about a demon or devil on the outside. That's true. It's an internal battle. It's the enemy. Yes, enemy. That's it, son. The enemy, enemy. Yes, that's down on the inside of you, and you got to defeat you. Yes, glory. And get out of your own way so you can serve the King in glory. Y'all stand, we're praying. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. We bless your name, God. We thank you for your word. We thank you for your word. Father, we thank you for what we've heard today. Thank you, Lord. And we thank you that we fight from victory, God. And we thank you that the weapons of our warfare, they are not carnal. Hallelujah. Our war is not carnal. Our armor is not carnal. Our battleground is not carnal. But we fight a battle in the heavenly realm. And we thank you, God, that we're fighting from rest. That we'll take a seat and we let you and your angels do your bidding. We'll pray. We'll go through the process. We'll summon you. But we'll rest that you have us covered. Lord, for what you're doing in our lives. Thank you for the battles that we've already won. Yes, God. Thank you for the people under the sound of my voice, either by video or in this room, God, that have, oh my God, defeated things that were meant to destroy them. Yes, God. I thank you, God, that that molestation, that rape, that violation, God, it didn't cause us to err and go the wrong way. Thank you, God, that those things that we dealt with in the past— yes, Lord— have not disdained and discounted us from our future. Yes, God. We thank you for a warfare rest. Thank you, Jesus. And we trust you today, God. We put on the altar today everything— everything, Lord— that we have burdening us, everything that's attacking us, us. We give it to you, Lord, whether it be in our body, whether it be in our finances, whether it be in our family, God, we put it on the altar. And we labor to rest. We labor to rest. We enter into the rest, God, and we say, take care of it. We say, handle our children. We say, handle our finances, God. We say, handle our physical bodies. We trust you to heal us. We trust you to bring kingdom wealth. We trust you to Save our children and our family members. We give you praise, God, for it now, in Jesus' name. Amen. And thank God. Clap your hands and bless the Lord.
