MANIFESTED VISION, PART 6: "DARE TO DREAM" | DR. MIKE WOODS, SR. | 12-04-2023

Dr. Mike Woods teaches on manifesting God-given visions by identifying nine vision-killers: being too young or old, feeling like a failure, fatigue, insignificance, overwhelming problems, unresolved hurt, and bitterness. He uses biblical examples like Joseph and David to show how to overcome these obstacles and move from sight to prophetic vision.

Your presence, Lord.
Your presence.
Thank you, Jesus. I've tasted and seen the sweetest of love where my heart becomes free and my shame is gone.
Ah, yeah. Oh, relax.
In your presence. Oh, Holy Spirit, you are welcome here. Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere. The glory of God is what our hearts long for. To be overcome by your presence. Oh, Holy Spirit, you are welcome right here. Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere. Your glory, God, is what I long for. To be overcome by your presence. Oh, in your presence. Oh, your presence. Oh. Your presence.
Oh, glory to you, Lord God.
Let's become more aware of your presence. Let us experience the glory of your goodness. Let us become more of your presence. Let us experience the glory of your goodness. Let us become more aware of your presence. Let us experience the glory of your goodness. Let us Become aware of your presence. Let us experience the glory of your goodness. Let us become aware of your presence. Let us experience the glory of your again. I've tasted and seen the sweetest of love when my heart becomes free and my shame undone. In your presence, Lord. In your presence, Lord.
Hallelujah, Jesus!
Hallelujah! I'll taste it and see of the sweetest of love when my heart becomes free. Thank you, God. My shame is undone, undone, undone in your presence. Oh. Holy Spirit, you are welcome here. Holy Spirit, you are welcome here. Holy Spirit, you are welcome here. Holy Holy Spirit! Holy Spirit! You're welcome here! Holy Spirit, you're welcome right here! Holy Spirit, have your way right here! Holy— Holy Spirit, you are welcome here. Holy Spirit, you are welcome here. Come flood this space and fill the atmosphere. Your glory, God, is what our hearts are hungry for. To be overtaken by your presence.
Overtake us, Father. One of the most tragic things in the world is to have sight but no vision. As a matter of fact, it's quite pathetic. Because you see, the greatest gift God ever gave to mankind, it's not the gift of sight, but the gift of vision. Sight is a function of the eyes. Vision is a function of the heart. And because so many people look at life through their eyes and not real vision that comes from the Spirit of God, they're frustrated in their marriage, they're frustrated in businesses. They're frustrated in their life. They have no hope. They're depressed. They can't see their way out. But the reality is, those that have good success are those who live from the realm of vision, prophetic perception. And I just want you to be clear this month and next month even, that as we move into this new year, Vision will begin to be manifested in our lives, and we got to get ready now. I promise you, vision is God's optimal reality for your future, and he wants to see it manifested. Well, glory, hallelujah! Listen, yes, God God wants to manifest vision in our life. And listen, I am just overwhelmed right now because I can, you know, I can really see, glory to the name of God, what God's getting ready to do in my own life and my family's life, my church's life, all those connected to me lives. But listen, I also see it for you. Those of you that will apply these principles, I see a life of satisfaction twirling in your direction. Glory to the name of God, where the power of the living God is going to be moving so great, so awesome, so mighty, so strong in your life. I promise you, listen. Oshi antaba ye breke kama oso ramande kosia. Yes, God, I promise you. Is going to blow your mind. I see it. Matter of fact, I can see you— glory to the name of God— in your future, walking out your vision, and you look much better— glory to God— than you look right now. I see your bank account more full than it is right now. Oh, glory to God. I see your business— glory to the name of God— more fruitful than it is right now. Glory to God. I see your life and ministry more fruitful than it is right now. I can see you, glory to God, in your future. Sheba, ushka tanabasi. I dare you, embrace it because there's a transition that's happening even as I'm talking right now. God, hear me, is moving you into the future that you've been dreaming about. Glory to God. I'm telling you right now, you— and you know how this works. Yeah, I hear you, God. You gotta own this thing. I'm already preaching, don't scroll. If you do anything, just share it. But I just heard the Lord say, you gotta own it. Listen to me, before you occupy it, oh, Shabba, you gotta own it before you occupy it. See, some of you trying to occupy it and get it, and you have not yet owned it first in the dream dimension. What do you mean, Michael Woods? Yeah, God, I hear you. You got to take ownership of what God shows you. Accept it as yours before you even get it. Begin speaking on it. Begin living like you already got it. Glory to Glory to God. You gotta own it before you occupy, because ownership precedes occupancy. Watch this. Even if you go to buy a home, a building, if you buy any type of real estate, you actually take ownership before you take occupancy, because you have to go to a room called a closing room where attorneys are there and the parties involved in the sale are there. And you close on the property, you take the keys, you take ownership, and then you go to the property and occupy it. Ownership always precedes occupancy. So you gotta own this vision now. I don't know who I'm talking to, but somebody watching this today, I want to challenge you. You must own this vision now. I'm telling you, you gotta own it now. You gotta own it now. You gotta see it and own it. See it and own it. And watch this, you can't occupy without opposition. So ownership precedes occupancy, but you won't be able to occupy it. I heard the Lord. Yeah, without opposition, you're going to be opposed. You're gonna have some challenges, glory to God, that make you want to quit, that make you want to give up. But you gotta make up in your mind, glory to God, this vision is from God, and no matter what the odds and no matter what the opposition, I will not stop. I dare you, type in the comments, I will not stop. Until I occupy. Glory to God. And watch this. This is the ultimate place God wants you in as you're waiting for his return. The scripture says, occupy, ooh-wee, until I come. The word occupy in the Greek means do business. So he's literally saying, occupy the vision, do business inside of the vision that I gave you until I come. Because God is not coming to establish a kingdom. Glory to God. He's coming to set up a— oh boy— a throne that he will sit upon to run a kingdom that's already in place by those of us who have occupied the kingdom vision. See, we're preparing for a coming king. We're putting things in place for it. That's why we talk about advancing the kingdom. This thing ain't over after you die. That about— the— you better read eschatology. You better study the book of— I got a whole teaching on YouTube. I got teaching, uh, somewhere on our website on the book of Revelation. You got to grab that and understand eschatology. We ain't doing this just because we ain't got nothing else to do. We are establishing Something for a coming King. Bible said the kingdom is coming down. There'll be a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth will be passed away. Oh, I ain't even going to that 'cause we gotta teach this message on manifested vision.
Woo!
Listen, I hope y'all grab that. That prophetic moment was profound. I want you to grab it, keep it, take it with you because at the end of the day, you're gonna need it. You gotta own before you occupy. And you gotta understand the opposition is coming because what you're trying to occupy makes every enemy in your life insignificant. Let's get into this today, man. I love y'all so much. Today, part 6 of Manifested Vision. Glory to the name of God. And we're simply calling this teaching Manifested Vision. And basically we're gonna, we're gonna teach this the rest of the month. Glory to God. And it's going to prepare you to occupy. It's going to prepare you to manifest the vision of God for your life. So don't scroll. Please share this, share this video. If you're on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, oh glory to God, wherever you find yourself listening the podcast, please share this with someone. Show some love and share it. Let's get into this, man. Let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, well, I love you, Lord. I love you so much, Daddy. You're so wonderful. You're so very mighty and merciful and gracious, God. You love us when we don't even deserve it, God. Hallelujah. Thank you that you didn't give us what we deserve, because if you gave us what we deserve, we'd all be dead and gone. But God, because you love us, you kept us alive. You've shown grace and mercy toward us, and you've given us another opportunity to finish our course, to finish our purpose. So Father, tonight, today, in Jesus' name, I'm asking you to anoint this word, anoint my lips of clay to declare the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. So help me God. I pray for the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of the Holy Spirit. Have your way in the midst of us. So many people are found divided from your plan. And you know, some people are arrogantly following things that they manifested in their carnality, a dream they came up with that never was your plan. Father, help us to get realigned. So we can manifest the vision you gave us before we were ever born. And we praise you for that now in Jesus' name. Amen. And thanks be to God. I love y'all, man. Thank y'all for being here. Listen, please again, share this. This message is gonna be the bomb today. It's gonna be off the chain. Again, this is part 6 of Manifest the Vision. Do me a favor, let's go really quickly Uh, we're going to read, praise God, a little bit this morning. And I want you to get your Bible, glory to God, and go to Genesis 37. And we're going to read verses 1 through 11. And I want you to follow with us, uh, very closely. And if you don't have a Bible, the scriptures will, uh, truncate on the screen as I'm reading. And I want you to follow along. And as glory to the name of God we read today. Today I want you— listen to me, glory to God— to ponder a couple of questions in your head. Number 1, I want you to ask the question, am I fulfilling the vision? Hallelujah! That God has for my life. Am I living out the vision that God has for my life? That's the proper question. Am I living out the vision that God has for my life? I want you to propose that to yourself as we read. Close your eyes if you have to, because when we close our eyes, we have a tendency to look in. Glory to God. And I want you to be honest with yourself and Even if you don't have an answer right now that you can honestly say, I want you to pray about it. Glory to God. As we read. And then secondly, I want you to propose the question, are my— oh my God— surroundings and the culture I've created in my relationships conducive to the vision for my life? Which meaning, are the people that you open up to, are the places that you go, the particulars that you embrace, are they conducive to God's plan for your life? And then finally, I just want you to ponder the question, because maybe if you're not aligned and living it out, and maybe if you create a culture that's counterintuitive to God's plan, God's dream, God's desire for your life. Hear me, maybe, ladies and gentlemen, hear me, you don't know what the vision is. So I want you to propose, propose to yourself as we read, what is God's vision for my life, my marriage, my children, my education, my career, my relationships, and my faith. What am I supposed to be doing? I want you to propose these 3 questions as we teach today as well, and I want you to answer them at some point in the very near future because you need to make sure you're in line. And I don't want you to do it out of your intellectual capacity. I really want you to answer the question out of your spirit. And the only way you could do that, you gotta spend some time with the Lord. You gotta ponder and think and listen to the voice of the Lord, because he will speak to you. He will show it to you. Hallelujah. So you can see what he's saying. Amen. Because that's what he wants you to do. He wants you to literally envision what he's saying so you could walk it out. He won't tell you to write the vision and make it plain if he's not doing that. Come on. Yeah. So let's go to Genesis 37, and again, I want you to ponder those questions as we read. And we're going to begin at verse number 1. The Bible says this, it says, and Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger in the land of Canaan. These are the generations of Jacob, Joseph, being 17 years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren. And the lad was with the sons of Bilhah and the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives. And Joseph brought about unto his father their evil report. Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children because he was a son of his old age, and he made him a coat of many colors. And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hate him. I'm sorry, they hated him and could not speak peaceably unto him. Oh, they could not speak peaceably, shalom. Again, that word is the same word when we talk about Jehovah Shalom. They could not speak with peace toward him. They could not, watch this, peace is the presence of assistance. They could not speak in terms of wanting to help him or assist him Why? Because they hated him. Let's go. It says, "And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it to his brethren." Watch this. "And they hated him more." Lord, help us. "And he said unto them, 'Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed. For behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and lo, my sheaf arose and also stood upright.'" O God. And behold, your sheaves stood round about and made obeisance to my sheaf. And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us, or shall you indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams and for his words. Again, for his shalom, his shalom, his dream, his vision, his prophetic prophetic revelation. They hated him for that, for his charzon. Glory to God for his vision. They hated the fact that he had a vision. And oftentimes when you get vision from God, hear me, you're going to be opposed again and you're going to be hated. Listen, verse 9: And he dreamed yet another dream— if it ain't enough hate going on— and told it to his brother and said, behold, I have dreamed a dream more, and behold, the sun and the moon and the 11 stars made obeisance to me. And he told it to his father and to his brethren, and his father rebuked him and said unto him, what is this dream that thou has dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brother indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee on the earth? And his brothers envied him. Verse 11. But his father observed, listen, the same. So today, again, we want to talk about manifested vision. The reality is Job— I'm sorry, Joseph. Job, glory to God. Joseph, listen, had a dream. He had a vision. The word vision and dream in this text in Hebrew is actually interchangeable, shazon, which means a prophetic revelation. A prophetic hope, a prophetic end. We've already discussed that. Please go back and watch messages 1 through 5 so you will be so ready to pursue your vision and dream as we cross over into the year of 2023, the year of manifested vision. I'm telling you, at Rhoda Church, in the Rhoda Group, my secular companies that we run as CEO We are running with the vision in 2023. We're not holding nothing back because we've seen it. We have the principles to start manifesting all the things that God has promised us, and we're going to run with the vision. Glory to the name of God in 2023. And I suggest you do the same. So listen, Joseph had a dream. We read it. And if reading through this scripture again, You should have really been proposing those questions. Am I living out God's dream for my life? You should have been proposing the question. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Am I creating a culture that is conducive to the fulfillment of my vision, or am I creating a culture that's counterintuitive or counterproductive to the fulfillment of the vision. So you got to propose the question, you got to answer it, you know, and you got to answer it honestly so you could really progress toward the fulfillment of the vision that God has given you. You know, we read that Joseph in the text, he was a normal kid, man. He was 17 years old, right? And the youngest of 12 brothers who hated him because he had a dream. Glory to God. And his father, although he questioned it, his father understood because the Bible said he observed, he embraced the sayings, he embraced the conversation in verse 11 that his son was having with him. And I think every father should get excited when you have sons or daughters who have a dream that comes from God. The most pathetic thing— hear me— is to have sight and no vision. And when I say that, Helen Keller said it first, so I'm gonna give her credit. And then everybody else started saying it, but Helen Keller said that first. The most pathetic and tragic thing on earth is to have sight and no vision. Now, it— that's the truth, but that applies in all areas. Even when I got sons and daughters, it's very pathetic that I can see a son or daughter who has the potential to relate to me and receive from me and empower what I'm called to do and be a blessing to that, but not see how I can be a blessing to the vision on their life. That's a problem. And not see how God is going to use them. See, most people don't realize it, but vision is not selfish. Vision is open-ended and it has an open door for every person to fulfill vision that God has given them, because every vision that God sends to this planet is necessary. And let me say this right here. If your heart is still beating, it means your vision is still necessary. I'll say that one more time. If you ain't dead, it means you still got a vision that needs to come forth out of your life. And God is giving you time. We've taught about that to complete the vision. So Joseph had some problems. He was, because he was the favored son by God and by his daddy. And everybody knew it. You know what? Your enemies know when the favor of the Father is on your life. And many a times they are not going to like the fact that you have favor with God and with men. And you just have to learn to live with that. He would, and so much so that his father gave him this famed robe. We call it the coat of many colors. Glory to God. To let, so watch this, that would let Joseph stand out. Glory! Oh boy, God, this coat of many colors made him stand out as a favored son. Let me tell you something, your vision is designed— I don't care what anybody says, this is the scripture, man— to make you stand out, to separate you, to glory, to, to celebrate your uniqueness. Not to make you better than anybody else, but to celebrate your uniqueness. And again, Every person has an opportunity to fulfill the vision, the dream that God has for their life. I gotta go. I got, I gotta get out of here, man. Too much introduction. So he told his family, family got jealous, they got mad, wanted to kill him. But here's what I want you to get about those verses in total, and then we're going to get into this. This was no ordinary dream. As we read, this was a God vision. This was a dream/vision that came from the Father himself. And can I tell you something? God is no respecter of person. Every human being on this planet has housed inside of them something God dreamed about them. We've confirmed that in the teachings before, in Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you." Matter of fact, let's look at Jeremiah 29:11 to confirm it even further. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord." So God already knows the plans, the dreams, that he has for you, the vision that he has for you. He already knows it, he's already thinking about it. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. So his plans are to give you increase, prosperity, to promote you, to cause you to experience his power and authority in everything you set your hands to. Not to injure you, not to hurt you, Oh my God, not to take you through— glory to the name of God— abundance of pain and suffering. That's not his will. God will use pain and suffering to, to get us ready for where we're going. And he'll take it because a lot of times, because we're off course, we end up going through things that we create for ourselves. And he knew we would, so he uses the pain or whatever we go through to further prepare us, to leverage our failures to get us where we need to go. He says, I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Hallelujah! The Bible— listen to this— is full of God's dreams for us. I want you to grab this. So we must really explore this idea of vision and dreams because the scripture has so many dreams that he's already set for us even before— listen to this— you start manifesting the dream that he has for your life personally and individually. There are some corporate dreams and visions that he has set in place that he wants to manifest for every believer that's already written in scripture. So again, every human being has access to some level of manifested vision in your life, even if you're not a leader that has to manifest a kingdom vision through your leadership, whether it be in the church or in ministry or in the marketplace or in the municipality. Every human has access to a Bible full of promises that God wants to manifest in you. I've seen him do it too many times, and I want you to understand, just because you may not believe it doesn't mean it's not true. Just because you've never seen it happen in your life, man, doesn't mean it's not true. This Bible is packed with promises and dreams that God has for your life. You just— and watch this, this is why the devil is trying to trick people to throw this book away and act like the tenets of this book don't exist and are not real. Listen, I've been walking with God too long and seen the word of God manifest too many times for real in my life. Come on, man. So let's move. So I want to give you— and I'm not going to be able to give you all 4 of these today. Matter of fact, I'm going to break these 4 4 keys up over 4 weeks. Glory to God. Because it's just a lot of information. I want to give you 4 keys that are out there that are going to emerge out of the verses we read to realize God's vision, God's dream for your life, to actually manifest God's dream. So I'm going to give you 4 keys. Somebody say 4 keys. Glory to God. The first one, we're going to talk about daring to dream. Dare to dream. Glory to God. Secondly, and I'm not going to talk about it this week, it's going to be defining the dream. Thirdly is going to be declaring the dream. And then fourthly is going to be defending the dream. And we're going to walk these out throughout the end of the month because you're going to need to have these as we move into 2024. So let's, let's move. Glory to God. Let's talk about Daring to dream. Dare to dream. Key number 1, dare to dream. Glory to the name of God. Joseph, in verse 5, we read it, he dared to dream. So how about you? Are you just gonna keep sitting around doing the same mundane thing, going through the same mundane cycles over and over again, day by day, day by day, you're doing the same old thing over and over and over again. Are you gonna keep doing that? Or are you gonna just say, hey, I trust God and I'm going to dare to dream. And maybe you say to yourself, I don't even know what it might, man, look, I hear you, you talking good. This stuff you saying sound real good. But Mike, hey, I don't know where to start. I'm glad you asked. Glory to the name of God. If you don't know where to start, let's start with the Bible. Again, there are dreams upon dreams that God has for you throughout the scripture. The foundation of the innate kingdom dream It's in the Word of God. Watch this. He has already told you his dream for your life to give you hope and a future. Everything God wants to do for you is based in the fact that his sincere desire as our Father, woo, is to give you hope and a future. I don't care what you're going through in your marriage. I don't care what you're going through in your finances. I don't care what you're going through with your family and your children. Let me tell you something today, that it is God's optimal reality for you to have— for you to have hope and a real future. He wants your future to be filled with joy, prosperity, healing, deliverance, happiness. Look, that's his hope for you. You shouldn't be walking around here a Christian that's dead, religious, and dry with no hope of a better future. Listen, I'm telling you right now, you need to stop listening to dead, dry, religious preachers who are not telling you that God wants you to have hope, that God wants you— hupostasis in Greek— he wants you to have a reality of something you're going to experience in the future. It comes from realizing the dream of God. Hallelujah. In every area of life, in the area of faith, in the area of your finances, in the area of your family, your relationships, your integrity, your godliness, your physical healing. He wants you to have a hope and a future regarding those things, and the Bible is full of promises. —regarding your faith, your marriage, your kids, your finances, your relationship, your integrity, your godliness. He wants you— you may not be able to get it right right now. You may keep falling on your face. Trust me, I've been there. Keep making mistakes, keep falling short of the glory of God. But God says you can have a vision for righteousness and godliness. Oh, glory! In your life, you ain't got to keep missing it. You don't have to keep living in sin. Dare to dream. Glory to God. Oh, shabaye. Dare to dream about a life of holiness and righteousness and godliness before God, that your light shines purely before men, that men see your good works and glorify, glory to God, the Father, ooh, shaya, ooh, shatabandia, which is in heaven. Listen, you ought to have vision for more money. Glory to God. Thank you. Shalaman diase. You ought to have a vision for your bank account running over. Matter of fact, say it right now. I have plenty of money to give away all the time. It ought to be your vision to have plenty of money that you can give away all the time, that you could bless others because the vision, God's dream for you is that he has blessed you to be a blessing. Come on, come on. I know y'all don't want to hear that because those of you especially that over-spiritualize every single thing, you, you glory, you in the— listen again, most time I pray for you, you gonna fall on the floor because it's power. Glory to the name of God. And I get it, but something needs to happen beyond you falling on that floor and getting up. I, I don't know, some of y'all just on the floor asleep. You need to get up off the floor and get a vision so that your finances can shift. So you don't just have holy hands and empty pockets. Come on, church. Glory to God. God wants you to dare to dream about having more money than you'll ever need. Matter of fact, say it with me again. Say, I have plenty of money to give away all the time. Watch this, because the Bible say he wants to fill your barns with plenty. Oh, see, y'all don't want to hear that, do y'all want to hear that? Y'all don't want to hear that. Listen, he wants to fill your barns with plenty. You want to keep— listen, you want to keep saying, oh my God, well, God ain't gonna do that for me, he, he wants me to do this and do that. Listen, man, God wants your barns to be filled with plenty. You're carnal and you don't have a vision of having more. You don't have a vision of your finances and your bank account increasing and overflowing so you can, hallelujah, give all the time. So say it with me: I have plenty of money to give away all the time. So you got to learn to say it until you see it. Find the scripture with the vision you need to see manifested and start saying that scripture until you see it. This is daring to dream, reading the Bible and envisioning God's promises as real. Your barns, your bank account filled with plenty. Your financial situation is in total alignment with your confession. The reason you're going through so much financially is because you ain't spoke to— oh, shabatai, briska tabo— you have not spoke to your money and commanded it to come to you and commanded it, glory to God, to work on your behalf and commanded it to manifest in your life. You got to speak those things that are not. I ain't giving you number words, I'm giving you God's dream as though they were. This is his dream for your finances. God, I didn't plan to go this way, but somebody needs this. You broke, busted, and disgusted, can't be trusted because you refuse to get a vision for your finances. But you praying in tongues all the time. Come on, what are those tongues yielding as fruit? Oh my God, outside of your relationship with God in the spirit, did you know the God you say you got such a deep relationship with is rich? Oh, do you realize the cattle on a thousand hills belong to him? And you running around here, deep and wonderful, squinting your eyes, falling on the floor, taking naps, casting out devils, healing the sick, and don't have a dime. Oh boy, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I just gotta tell you the truth, because you cannot establish kingdom vision without wealth, without prosperity. Let me calm down. You can't. You can't. You can't. You can't. You can't. You can't, right? So I need y'all to start with the word for your marriage. For your kids, for your finance, for your relationship, for your integrity, for your godliness, and get a vision of what that's supposed to look like and start putting your mouth on it, opening your mouth and speaking it into existence. You have what you say. You create the world you live in with your mouth. Death and life is in the power of your tongue. It's in your mouth. So you can see what you say. I don't have time, but you got to learn to say it until you see it. This is daring to dream. Daring to have vision. In the book of Genesis chapter 1, the Bible said, and God said— it keeps going— and God said everything he created, and God said everything he wanted, and God said, and God said, and God said, and then finally, bam, and God saw. He said it until he saw it. Glory to God. You got to say, like I say every day, I'm a billionaire until you see it. I know when you speak those words, something in you emerges through innovation and work ethic to bring what you're saying to pass to life, 'cause it becomes who you are. Woo! Because your words start shaping your world. You need to say, "I'm healed," until your body gets healed. Don't just say it one day, once a week, and then every other day you say, "Oh, I'm so hurt and I'm in pain." I'm broke. Every other day you confess one day and every other day you got a negative confession. What confession you think is winning? You gotta say it till you see it, till it becomes a part of who you are. So let's start with what God has given us in his Bible and let's go from there and let's dare to dream. Somebody shout, dare to dream. Shout it! Dare to dream! Glory to God! Shout it again! Dare to dream! Type it in the comments. Dare to dream! Dare to dream! Dare to dream! Make up in your mind that I'm gonna take the risk to dream, the risk of faith and obedience to dream. Glory to God! And let's start with the word, and let's dream and vision the things that he's promised us, and let's start seeing them come to pass so that we have testimony. You know what? You know how people get saved? Through your testimony. We overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. That a testimony is a monologue about the test. So you, a moaning, a monologue, which means it's a conversation, it's a discussion about the test. Oh, but if you don't go through the test and have a vision of how you coming out of the test, you have nothing to say. But when you're able to share your story, your journey. Glory to God. Hallelujah. It brings people to him. Hey, glory. So why is it then? Come on, I'm sorry I went off on that tangent. I really could have been through with this message, I promise you, but it was God. So why is it then that we don't dream. The Holy Spirit showed me 9, as I was reading the text and studying this message, 9 dream killers, vision killers. And some of these are gonna sound familiar to you. And if it hits you, just say ouch and move on and do better and eliminate it from your life because This is what is killing your vision and dream. I'm gonna give you 9. Let's start and then we're gonna be done. Number 1, I'm not gonna tarry long on either one of these, but I want you to listen. I want you to take great notes and I want you to make application. Remember, revelation without application is constipation. Yeah, it's, you know what constipation is, right? Yeah, you do, you do. It means it's hard to get out. You're straining, it's backed up. And many of you can't release the vision 'cause you're constipated. You got all this revelation, you hear all this word, but you ain't applying it. You're making excuses. You're under the banner of a vision dream killer that's keeping you from going for it. Number one, let's go. Many of you say, I'm too young. Can I tell you something, young people? Can I tell you something, millennials? There is no such thing as you're too young. Joseph was 17. David was practically a child. I'm talking about literally just leaving his adolescence, 8, 9 years old when God called him as a little shepherd boy to be king. He got a vision at 8, 9 on how to be king. David, come on. There's no such thing. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were teenagers. Talk to me, church. Come on, man. I think of the young boy who Jesus took his lunch and fed 5,000. You're never too young to be used of God. You just must yield yourself to the call. And watch this, you— some of you deal with people, and I dealt with this when I was young. Bless the Lord and bless those that did this to me because it just made me better. It just made me pursue God the more. That, that's what you got to do. You gotta let negative people who can't see you, who caught up in their own stuff and, and really just want you to kind of abide in their dream for you, their vision for you. I wouldn't be nowhere near where I am if I would have bought into the things that was said to me when I got called to ministry as a young boy, really. And it just really didn't get accepted till I became a teenager, but I was called way before then. The reality is you can't let nobody tell you what God has told you is wrong, and you got to spend time with God so that you could keep reinforcing his voice and just ignore what anybody else is saying. But you got to know it's God, because sometimes you are not too young, but you're too immature. And you gotta sit down and be matriculated so you're ready to do what you're called to do effectively, right? But then there's some people who are in their youth, God can supernaturally endow to do what they're called to do. But you never want to be in a hurry. I'm not saying that. What I am saying is that you're never too young to get a vision of who God is making you. You. And never let anyone change your mind about what God says about you. That's number one. Number two, some of you say, man, I'm 55, I'm 56, I'm almost 60, I'm too old. This is a dream killer. Just like I'm too young is a dream killer, I'm too old is a dream killer. Can I tell you something? Never stop dreaming. Never stop dreaming about God's word coming alive and coming to pass in your life, because God has a plan for you, man, and he wants to bring it forth. He wants to bring it to pass. He wants it to come alive. But you cannot allow Hear me. Listen, listen. You cannot allow what you feel about yourself and your chronological age to stop you from dreaming. The word still applies to you no matter how old you are. Hallelujah. And God can renew your youth. Abraham was 100 and Sarah was 90 when Isaac was born, but you too old. Come on. No, no, man, you're not 100 yet. You ain't 90 yet. So if God still has a vision for your life, guess what? He can renew your strength as a youth. So you can— I'm telling you, I believe my strength as a youth is being renewed in me every morning so I could do what God has called me to do. He is the only person that can redeem time. Good God Almighty. Good God, good God, good God. Listen, in God's timeline, hear this, and I'm gonna move to number 3, there is no age restrictions. And there is no such thing as getting old. Can I say it again? In God's timeline, there is no such thing as getting old. He's eternity, and all he has to do is superimpose his eternal nature on what you're called to do, and it eliminates time completely. Ah, because when we live from eternity to earth. It eliminates time totally, absolutely, categorically, and completely. Are you hearing what I'm saying? Are you listening to what I am saying? Glory to God. I gotta go, man. I gotta go. Number 3, you might be saying this is a dream killer. I'm too much of a failure. I've made too many mistakes. I've fallen on my face too many times. No way anyone will listen to me. No one— no way anyone will trust me. You may be saying those things, but says who? You're not too much of a failure. His grace is sufficient for you. And listen, there's nothing that you have done, nothing about you that surprises God. He knew you were gonna do it before you do it. He knew you were gonna do it before you did it. I'm sorry, y'all, I'm just excited. He knew you were gonna do it before you did it, so he hadn't changed his mind about you. Listen, there are some things that God just pushed the pause button on to recycle you and get you ready and retool you. But he hadn't changed his mind. Failure is not final. Phew. And failure is not fatal. It cannot be fatal as long as you're under the auspices of the blood of Jesus. Listen, God is not after perfection. He's after obedience. I'll say that again. I was asked a question: if you could do it all again and you could do it perfectly, would you do it? I said no. Why? Because My failure are the very things that makes me who I am. The failures in my life are the very things that make me who I am. Yeah, it takes time to build character. So you go through failure to develop character. Glory to God. And two important things I told them that are very important in life is character and learning. So if I did it again, it would take away my character. It would take away what I've learned. And I really wouldn't be able to give what I give now because I wouldn't know nothing except what I read. I would not have learned from leveraging my failures to sustain the success that I now experience in my life emotionally, spiritually, physically, financially. Because I went through the times I needed to go through in process to develop character. So no, I wouldn't do it again if I could do it perfectly knowing what I know now. I need who I am. So I had to go through those things and leverage. See, you gotta learn as you grow in God to keep your failures close. The way you keep your failures close, you forget what's behind, but you keep 'em close because That's a record of what God can do. And it gives you to know, help you appreciate your victories better. Can I tell you something? I have learned absolutely nothing from my success. Everything I learned, I learned it from my fa— Oh God! Success is just a manifestation of me using failure, leveraging failure properly. Ooh. I'll say it again. Success, lemme say it calmly, is just a manifestation of how we leverage failure properly. You put a lid on your growth and your ability to increase and impact lives. Listen to me, when you disown your mistakes, Ah, your miscues, the times where you blew it. And listen, I can sit here and tell you a list of failures, glory to God, that I've gone through that I am not proud of. But what I am is thankful for them, because maturity and wisdom teaches me. I was just telling my oldest son yesterday That wisdom is the principal thing, son. I blew it in these areas so you don't have to. So if you open your ears and listen to wisdom, a lot of the things you endure, son, you will never go through them because I went through them for you. So no, I wouldn't trade it because my value is rooted in what I survived. And some of you listen to me, you survived stuff other folk died in. You have failed and got back up from stuff that other people never recovered from. And that, my friend, is what makes you valuable. So never be ashamed of what God brought you through. I can help adulterers, glory to God, because I was one. Y'all ain't got to say nothing. Glory to God. I can help fornicators because I was a hoe for real. Glory to God. I know what it means to be a hoe for real. Glory to God. I was one. But thank God for deliverance. I could talk about it because I've been there, and I could talk about it with authority and power because I've been there. I could talk about God being a healer because my body's been sick and he healed it. I could talk about God being a healer because I've laid hands on the sick and they they have recovered.
Ooh, okay.
Don't let your failure keep you because God will never look at your past, uh-oh, to determine your future. Let me say that again. God will never look at your past to determine your future. Let me move on. Number 4, I got to go. Some of you may say, I'm too new in God. Maybe you just got saved, maybe you just coming in, maybe you've been saved and been in a religious environment and just tapped into spiritual things. Well, watch this. The disciples, they were new to God. Paul, he was new to God, but they impacted the whole world. God sees your newness. Watch this. Has strength because he understands he has a fresh canvas that's not infiltrated with religion and ideals and, oh my God, legalism and thought processes that will hinder the vision. Your newness is an asset when you align it with God's vision for your life. Number 5, somebody is saying, I'm Dr. Woods. Mike, I'm too tired, man. I'm tired. I am too tired. I've been going through, I've been trying, and nothing's been working. I'm tired. Listen, ask God to give you strength and don't give up. I'll say it again, ask the Lord for strength right now. If you're tired and you feel like throwing in the towel, you're tired of your circumstances. You say, I don't want another prophecy. I don't want a word. I don't want to dream no more. I don't want to do nothing. Oh my God. More than what I've been doing. Hmm. I'm tired. Somebody said, I want to sit down. I want to give up. I've been there, man. But I promise you, if you ask God, listen, and let me say this to you. If you're doing anything and you never wanted to quit it, it ain't much. The very fact that the significance of what you're doing is a threat to the enemy and his camp, he is going to wage war against you. He's going to raise up opposition with you, and God's going to allow the test to come into your life. And the very fact that you wanted to quit it is an indication that you may be doing the right thing. So don't give up. Listen, I know you're tired. I don't know who I'm talking to, but don't quit. Don't give up on God because he won't give up on you. Hallelujah! You gotta stay the course. Stand your ground. Grit your teeth. Dig in and make up in your mind, I'm tired, but I'm gonna keep going. I can't see my way. Do it tired. Glory to God. Do it. Hallelujah. Without the resources. Do it. Glory to the name of God. Because God will give you strength. He will give you supernatural energy to finish the course. Somebody may say, number 7, number 6, I'm sorry, I'm too insignificant. Really? You, you have low self-esteem. And you say, I ain't nobody, I ain't never did nothing, I ain't never been nowhere, I just work hard, I just go here, go there, and I just— I'm just normal. No, really, Jesus died for you as if you were the only person who ever lived. Think about that. Jesus got on the cross and died for you, you, as if you, the person that says you're insignificant one, or the only person on Earth. He died for all of our sin individually so we all can have a right to dream with God, to manifest God's vision for our life. And you say you're insignificant? Somebody died for you. That ought to mean something. Yeah, you're not insignificant. You may not be popular on social media. Which is overrated. Trust me, you may not get a whole lot of likes on your picture, your video. Stop living for that. You need to break your Facebook, Instagram addiction right now in the name of Jesus anyway, cuz the only vision you have is the significance of other people, and it makes you feel insignificant because you're scrolling timelines watching everybody else live. But Jesus died for you. As if no one else was on this planet. I want you to think about that. He died for you as if nobody else was alive. Boy, that's good stuff. You gonna have a hard time convincing me, and even moreover the Lord, that you're anything short of huge. Listen, you're all that. Hallelujah. You're more than you could ever imagine and phantom in your mind, just by virtue of the fact that God sent his Son to die for you so you could give birth to the vision that's inside of you. Ah, you're huge, man. You may not have 100,000 followers, a million followers, on social media, but you're huge. And some of these social media people that have those kind of followers— and not knocking that— and views and likes, they'll knock you if you don't have it. They'll measure your significance based on their significance. In that, while social media is a huge world, I want to tell you something: it's very small in comparison to the world itself. You could have a ton of significance in something you're doing outside of social media and nobody on social media ever know about. Watch this. I want, I want to share something with you. Most millionaires who are multimillionaires and billionaires don't have social media accounts and don't manage them themselves. Only ones that do that are the popular guys like athletes, actors and stuff like that, rappers and singers. But most people, especially in the business world, in the marketplace, You're not gonna see a whole lot of that. And if they're on there, somebody else is managing and they're doing business. The reality is they're not following people. They're not following average people. Glory to God. They're not looking at timelines. They're not, they don't care because they're too busy building the vision that's inside of them. It's significant to the world they're in. You gotta find the place you're supposed to be and stop getting discouraged in areas where it may appear you're insignificant. It, it shouldn't matter if you are, because you're very huge in the eyes of God and the people that you're assigned to. Let me keep it moving. Number 7, you may say— and I'm closing, y'all— I am encumbered by problems. There's no way I can fulfill vision because I got too many problems. Watch this. If you are saying that, if this is the dream vision killer that's stopping you from fulfilling vision, God's dreams and plans for your life, watch this. Joseph is the perfect fellow to follow because Joseph had a lot of problems. His brothers hated him. As a matter of fact, if you continue reading the story, They tried to kill him. He went to prison. They threw him in a pit because they were jealous of who God made him to be. Listen, Smith Wigglesworth said this, and I quote, and he said it really well. I love how he articulated this. He said great triumphs can only come out— listen— of great trials. Joseph triumphed great. He was triumphant. He took the throne. The dream in his life came to pass out of his great trials, out of the trial he had with Potiphar's wife, because that could have killed him if Potiphar would have thought for one minute Joseph slept with his wife. He's dead immediately. Secondly, he went to prison. He found favor in prison. All he needed was a butler to give one word on his behalf, got him out of prison. He was in a pit. Glory to God, God delivered him from the pit. So the reality is he had to go through the trial to get to the throne. Uh, many preachers have preached that he went from Potiphar's wife to the from the prison to the pit to the palace. Wherever your vision is, whatever throne you're supposed to be sitting, because God is the King of Kings, he's the Lord of Lords. So, and there's a place in the earth, there's a throne. You're not the king of everything, but there's a throne as a king's kid you should sit on. Matter of fact, I see thrones. That's a whole nother teaching. Glory to God. I see thrones in the spirit right now. There, there are positionings that God are placing, hallelujah, in the realm of the spirit, hallelujah, for you to— oh my God— defeat certain princes in their palaces, principalities, evil principalities that are coming against God's process. God has placed a throne to make you a spiritual principality, a good principality. See, principalities are not all bad. So you got evil principalities and you got good princes in their palaces, which are apostles who deploy other apostolic people who move in their vision and take their seat on the throne God has ordained for them. Whole nother teaching, my God. But great triumphs— thank you, Smith Wigglesworth— comes out of great trial. I'm a witness, it's the truth. I've been through a lot of stuff. I've been through some stuff that literally should have killed me. I've been through some seasons in my life that I didn't know how I was going to come out. I'm talking about very dark, impossible, financial, mental, psychological, debilitating situations, and God brought me out. And it's great triumph now because the wisdom that God has entrusted me with stuff because I survived. And like me, many of you have survived stuff that's qualified you for the vision to come forth in your life. The 8th dream killer— watch this— I am too hurt by others. This is a dream killer, man. Some of you are not flowing in your dream. Again, Joseph gets it. He was hurt by his brothers. Jesus gets it. He will— the people that crucified Jesus, listen to me, it wasn't the enemies of Jesus. The church, the religious community killed him. They're the ones that said, give us Barabbas. They rejected him. My God. Listen, hurt is hard. Some of you been hurt by parents, siblings, you've been hurt by co-workers, you've been hurt— glory to the name of God— by people that should love you. You've been hurt, glory to God, in marriage and relationships. Hurt is hard. I know it is. I've been there, done that. But God is a healer, and you must forgive. When you're hurt, you must forgive. You got to let it go. You got to release that hurt and forgive. Ooh-wee, my God. Listen, resentment is a whole nother message. I don't have time. And bitterness and strife are ultimate nemesis against vision. You can't fulfill vision from heaven while you're bitter, because it takes people to fulfill vision. And once you start employing people inside of a vision that has a bitter person at the helm, at the leadership of it, you start releasing that bitterness into the lives— oh my God. Oh my God. Into the lives of those— shikala basoto labadia— ikandela moshi tababaye— who serve with you. That's a dangerous piece. Some of you listening to me, you need to repent of that. You got a bunch of bitter people around you because you bitter. Prophets, you can't prophesy outta your bitterness because when you do, that bitterness is transferred to the recipient of that word. So you have to be careful. You gotta get you together. Bitterness is like a cancer. I don't have time. I don't have time. So don't let it ruin you or keep the vision from manifesting. Number 9, I gotta go. You might be, this is a dream killer. I'm too not where I thought I'd be. There are two, two things that are vital to your happiness: your relationships and your achievements. I'll say it again, these things are vital to happiness. I say joy, they're vital to happiness. Happiness and joy are two different things. While happiness is a root, a substratum of joy, because Joy ultimately, uh, blooms from a happy soul. Something has to happen. You receive Jesus and he gives you joy. Something has to happen to produce happiness. So our relationships and our achievements usually bring us happiness, right? That's why people in the world can be happy without the joy of the Lord, because they have great relationships and great achievements. Watch this, a lot of times this nature because our relationships are not where we think they ought to be, right? And then our achievements, we get to a point in our life, we're so— we've been doing something a while and it's still not where we think it ought to be, we give up on the dream. We look at our life and say, my life really hasn't turned out how it should be. Listen, if your life— hear me, hasn't turned out to date how you think it ought to be, can I tell you something? You're in great company with people like Joseph, Daniel, Esther, Ruth, Nehemiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah. I want to name a few. Michael Woods. You're in great company. You're gonna go through seasons where you feel like, I'm not enough, I'm inadequate. I'm not where I need to be. I should have did this way before now. But again, God redeems the time. Just make up your mind you're gonna be obedient. Can I tell you something as I close? God has a plan, purpose, and dream for your life. I want you to make the rest of your life, hear me, your best life. Make the rest the best. Matter of fact, I decree and declare today that the rest shall be the best because it will be done— listen, I hear that, God— in rest. The rest shall be the best because the rest will be done in rest. Yeah, the rest will be done in rest. The rest shall be done in rest, which means you will rest from your labors. You will rest from your carnal— I'm prophesying now, I'm done. You will rest from your carnal disposition. You will rest from defining your life as you think others want to see it, and you will rest in the decision, the thought of God, the mahavash, what he's thinking about you, the thoughts of peace and not of evil that gives you a peaceful future. A peaceable, hopeful, joyfully-yam, joyous, prosperous future. You'll rest in that. Yes, God. Woo! The rest shall be the best because it shall be done in rest. God wants you to manifest your vision. Dare to dream. Ask God today to give you a God-sized dream. Hallelujah. You know, if you go to— and I'm done— yeah, a fast food restaurant, most restaurants like McDonald's, Burger King, what have you, have an option to supersize your meal. If you get a number one, you can supersize Super-sized means you get a large fry, a large drink. You already probably shouldn't be there, but they give you an option to get more if you want it. Can I tell you something? Some of you have gotten the regular dealings from God and you have not asked him to God-size your life, to God-size your dream. And I want to tell you today, you need to ask God God, supersize my dream, supersize my vision. Let me see bigger than I ever saw. Can we pray for that today? Father, I pray for a future and a hope for every person listening, and I ask you, God, to God-size, supersize their dream today. May they not miss it to the left nor to the right. May they accurately aligned with you in all you say and do. And I ask this now in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. And thanks be to God. Listen, supersize that dream. My time is way gone, man, but I'm all— I always get joy teaching and sharing the word of the Lord with you. Listen, I want to invite you, glory to God, to be a giver today. Today. Listen, plant seed in ministry. Glory to— I can't tell you what to do because the Lord is not telling me to challenge you with anything but to challenge your faith.
