Grace and peace, everyone, be multiplied to you from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let me say this: Merry Christmas! We've been teaching about vision. Today we're teaching on Vision Part 9, and we're talking about vision and destiny. And I promise you, man, you need to get this word from the Lord. The Bible said we're blessed to be a blessing, so please be a blessing to someone today. God bless you. One of the most tragic things in the world is to have sight but no vision. As a matter of fact, it's quite pathetic because you see, the greatest gift God ever gave to mankind, it's not the gift of sight, but the gift a vision. Sight is a function of the eyes. Vision is a function of the heart. And because so many people look at life through their eyes and not real vision that comes from the Spirit of God, they're frustrated in their marriage, they're frustrated in their businesses, they're frustrated in their life. They have no hope. They're depressed. They can't see their way out. But the reality is, those that have good success are those who live from the realm of vision, prophetic perception. And I just want you to be clear this month and next month even, that as we move into this new year, vision will begin to be manifested in our lives, and we gotta get ready now. I promise you, vision is God's optimal reality for your future, and he Wants to see it manifested. Yes, yes, yes, God indeed wants to manifest vision in your life for real. I promise you he does. And I believe with all of my heart, just like God spoke to me personally and said, son, 2023 will be the year of manifested vision. And I'm saying to you right now, this is message 9 of this message. This is indeed going to be the year of manifested vision. So I want you to dive in to these teachings, apply them to your life. Glory to God. And let the vision of God for you come forth and emerge and change your life and everyone connected to the culture of your life. Because the vision is not just for you, it's for those that's in your bubble, in your culture. They should be affected directly by what's on your life. So I have— I got a problem, man, that if you're growing, sowing God, you're soaring, and you're doing all these wonderful things in the kingdom, but the people around you, the people in your house Let's start right there. They're not being affected by how powerful you are. At the end of the day, you need to slow down and pay attention to your culture because charity starts at home and then it spreads abroad. That's reality. And I'm seeing it so much from so many leaders around the country who are going forward. And I honor you for trying to press through your struggles to reach people and do the work of the Lord. But really, the reality is you got to start with the first in Jerusalem. Hallelujah. Start right there at home. Get the home. Even if you're single, start with you. So many single men and women of God are imbalanced and struggling and going through, but yet trying to empower the body. Let's get us together and listen. I'm not telling you something I have not endured and been through. Listen, the wisdom that I've gained from doing that kind of stuff, man, you will— you— it will— it will pay for you to listen to what I'm saying. Back up and work on you. It'll give you a lot of longevity. So tonight, or today, whenever you're watching, I want to talk about vision and destiny. This is part 9 of this series, and we are discussing vision and Destiny. Glory to the name of God. And I promise you, you want to stay with me because this message is going to be revolutionary, is going to change your life. So by way of review, I want to just go over a few things really quick that we've already taught. And I think it's important to this particular teaching that we get clarity again on what vision is and what vision is not. So vision is from, again, a Hebrew word called zon. Called zon, glory to the name of God, is prophetic utterance, is prophetic hope. Glory to God. It's a dream. It's an oracle. It's a prophetic revelation. And if it's prophetic, that means it comes from God. That means the heavens open and God's word, God's eyesight, what God sees, what God knows, what God understands, what God understands about the life of the one he's speaking to, or the ones he's speaking to, is superimposed upon them in a way that it is absolutely clear— watch this— that this is the will of God. That's one thing about prophecy you got to understand, that when a prophet prophesies for real, when they are aligned with God and God superimposes what he sees on the mind and the spirit of the prophet and it comes out of his mouth, he's speaking as God. Listen. And when he speaks as God, there should be a witness in your spirit that this really is God talking to me. And your life begins to align with that clarity. You should leave the prophecy not confused, but clear. I've seen so many people over the years include myself, receive prophecies from people and you walk away from the prophecy confused about what was said. Well, that's a problem because if God tells me all you're getting, get an understanding, and the Hebrew word for understanding is clarity, which is freedom from ambiguity. Glory to God. Freedom from confusion, freedom from a decision. You know what's left, you know what's right, you know what's one, you know what's two. You're clear. So when prophecy really comes forth, there is a clarity and not a confusion. And that's what vision is. It's clarity about what's coming. It's clarity about the future. Now, the opposite of vision— watch this— is a word in Hebrew, ra'ah, which means to see. Watch this generically, which means to use your eyes the sight, the natural sight to generically see things. So here's what has happened in the kingdom. You have a large group of people— listen to me— who have begun to look at their life through a generic lens. Rawr! And they've tried to— watch this— put spiritual glasses on their natural sight and make God accept what they see because of their inability to really see what God is saying. And all it really requires is discipline to pursue the relationship. Can I submit something to you right here? Religion is never going to offer you clarity. Oh, on this Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, whenever you're watching, Religion will never give you clarity. As a matter of fact, religion gives you confusion because religion is still searching for God. And if religion is still looking for God, religion does not have clarity. Ooh, ooh. And so some people, what they've done, because they have not really managed to develop real relationship with God where they've tasted him, and really been enlightened by him for real so that he can superimpose his mind to bring supernatural clarity on what they're trying to accomplish and do. They've tried to create things and they— I think there's a lot of great actors in the body of Christ, but people that have real discernment know you acting. They know you really not walking in all that you say you walking in. They know that Most of the stuff you teach about and preach about, you're not walking in, and you just kind of read about it. And most of y'all are teaching out of other people's books anyway because they're— oh, okay, okay, yeah, all right, all right, okay, yeah, I'm gonna leave you alone. But you need to stop that. This is a new day. You need to really get on your face and see what God is saying clearly. Oh, I'm an apostle here. Okay, yeah, I'm an apostle every day, even on Christmas. Yeah, even on Christmas, every day, you know, holidays. So you got to get on your face and be disciplined enough. Come on, church. Come on. And to hear God for real and get clarity on what God is saying to you about you and what's for you. So let's, let's get into this, man. So vision again is God's optimal reality for your future. I'm just reviewing. We read in Isaiah 46:10 and I'm just going to read it For context, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times, the things that are not yet done, saying, my counsel shall stand, I will do all my will. So God is saying he declares the end from the beginning, which is a great segue into this teaching tonight. Because destiny is an inevitable, irresistible— hear this— predetermined course of events. God— hear this— is a God of predestination. He— that's what Isaiah 46:10 just told us. He declares the end, the destination, from the beginning. Pre— so he's a God of predestination. So everything about your life, everything about who you are, where you're going, what you're going to have, what you're going to do, how you're going to mess up things. Glory to God. Because you operate in the flesh, you operate in emotions because you're immature and operating your feelings. How you going to mess up good covenant, good relationships? How are you going to destroy your ministry going ahead of God? God says, I already declared the end from the beginning. And when you color outside of those lines, you're on your way to destruction. When your vision is clear, hear me, and your future is clear, you make good decisions in the present because your decisions ultimately determine whether you achieve destiny or not. See, the end, the destination is already decided. I'm 53, I'll be 54 in 2023, and I've learned a lot about obedience because I missed it a lot of times, man. I've done things Michael Woods way a lot of times in these last 36 years of ministry. I've blundered a lot, and I've learned that it's better to obey than to sacrifice. And I've learned that if I'm gonna be where God wants me to be— I'm thankful today, I'm in the best place I've ever been in my life, spiritually, financially, as a family person. I'm, I'm— I have great friends, I have a great life, but that's only because I decided to align myself for real with what God planned, not what I wanted. And that's what some of you are doing. You have aligned yourself with what you want and not what God wants. And that's because you don't spend time with him. You don't have clarity about what he wants because you don't spend time with him. And you've adapted. You become adaptive to a religious way of doing things. And the very one of, one of you that says you're not religious, You're being very religious because you're still looking for clarity. People that have relationship are not looking for clarity. They're not looking for God. They know God. They're very clear. They're not confused. They're at peace. And they walk inside of a line that has been established way before they got here, because God shows them the end that he declared from the beginning. And you get in line with that and you walk it out. And everything else in your life is sweatless. Would you believe me if I told you that God wants to give you sweatless victory? Ah, I'll say that again. God wants to give you sweatless victory. He wants to give you victory that you don't have to fight for or work for or be burdened for or pressured for. You just got to get inside the line. He's your Father, and guess what? He's a good Father. So your decisions determine your destiny, and these decisions that you make, they relate to the vision, they relate to the destiny. Hear me, and they steer you closer to it. See, when you know where you're going, you strategically make good decisions that's going to get you closer to that goal. You don't keep doing dumb stuff when you know the dumb stuff is creating delays. You don't keep doing dumb stuff when you know the dumb stuff is not getting you where you're trying to go. You don't keep following after your flesh. Oh boy, oh boy. And your way of doing things. And you know that has gotten you literally nowhere. But again, a good actor, man. Oh my God, oh my God, it's my water, it's my water. Let me grab my water. This is an Academy Award, Oscar. I think we have some of the greatest actors in the church. Hollywood is missing it, it's missing it, it's missing it. You got so many people act like they know God, act like they're deep and wonderful, act like they pray, and they do it good. They, they, they can talk in tongues to make you feel like they real deep. They can sing in certain ways and make you feel like they just left heaven to come to church and grab the mic. Hollywood missing it, man, because some of y'all should get an Oscar. And it's a dangerous place because you really don't know God. Oh my God, it's a dangerous place, man, because you're playing with fire. And what hurts me is he's real and you really could know him. Hmm, that's a hurting thing, man. That bothers me because I want better for you. I want more for you. Yeah, yeah. Listen, when you can clearly see the destination and you understand destiny and how vision and destiny work— I'm gonna get into this, I just gotta lay a backdrop— you know when to say yes and you know when to say no. See, some of you saying yes to things that don't complement your progressive movement toward vision and destiny. You know what to remove from your life, what to annihilate, what to cut off. You begin to make— watch this— decisions with precision that make incisions. I'll say that again. Your decisions are so powerful that when you make accurate decisions, hallelujah, with precise accuracy, they make incisions. They cut off the— this being decisive is very incisive. It cuts off everything that doesn't belong and that hinders you. The Bible says this in Hebrews, that we should lay aside every weight and the— and the sin. So weight and sin is different. Some of you not living in sin, but you walking around with weight. And I'm not talking about physical weight. Some of you got heavy weight and burdens on you that you shouldn't be carrying because you're a child of the King. You shouldn't have financial weight on you as a child of the King. Come on, man. You— oh God, you should have weight of sickness and disease and burdens in your body because you're a child of the King and none of that is his will for you. Matter of fact, poverty is under the curse. Sickness and disease is under the curse. It's because— again, you hadn't seen the destination. You don't have clarity. When you got clarity, you also have a better attitude. Oh boy, you have a better attitude when you don't have to do things you don't want to do or enjoy doing. Listen, when you understand that some of the things you may not want to do is going to help you accomplish your vision and get to your destination in life, guess what you'll do? You'll gird it up, grit your teeth, even if you don't want to do it, and you'll feel good about it because you know, even though I don't want to do this, I don't want to get up at 5 and pray, I don't want to study my Bible, eh, wah, wah, I don't want to go to Bible study, I don't want to go to church, I don't want to go to corporate worship, I don't want to assemble where I can get a word from the Lord, from the prophet to direct my life. And yeah, yeah, yeah. But guess what? When you understand these things help you— I don't want to sacrifice to start a business. I don't want to walk by faith and not by sight. But when you understand this stuff is going to help you get closer to the destination, you do it with a smile on your face. You grit your teeth, dig in. So I really don't want to be doing this, but I'm going to do it because it's going to get me where I got to go. Hallelujah. Listen, so let's get into this. We are— watch this— here on this planet to fulfill destiny. I dare you type that in the comments. Say, I'm on this planet to fulfill destiny. Woo! Shabbat, Diosa. Lickis, Kataminsu. Briskatabai. Yeah, yeah. You're on this planet— I hear you, God— to Reveal destiny. Watch this. I know you think your life is your life. Your life is not your own. To him we belong. Hallelujah. And we give ourselves totally to him. I present my body. Come on, Romans 12:1, a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God, which is my reasonable, my logicos in Greek, my logical, thought through. It just makes sense to serve him in this way and give him everything because he's the master of where I'm going. He knows where I am and he knows the destination I'm going to. Ah, but you got to get a vision of that. We're here, we're manufactured with a real authentic purpose, given all the potential we need to fulfill that purpose so that we can manifest heaven's destiny through our life. That's why we're here. We are God's delivery system in the earth. I'll say that again. You and I are God's delivery system in the earth. Lord, have mercy. It's Christmas time. So ordering a lot of stuff for Christmas, chasing packages have been a headache for me this year. Glory to God. Because you got carriers that want to steal the packages, say they delivered it, didn't deliver it. So now you got to fight with the retailer. Fight with UPS, fight with FedEx, cause listen, nobody wants to take responsibility for something you paid for that they didn't deliver. The reality is you are carrying a package, and I wonder if God is tracking your package. Are you on schedule? Are you where you need to be? Are you doing what you should be doing? I wonder if God put in your tracking number. Are you actually walking out where you're supposed to be walking out? Are you going to get to the destination on time? Some of you get hit with life and you slow down, you stop. But you got to learn to be like a stamp. You know, back in the day, you used to have to lick a stamp, get it real wet, put it on that envelope. Envelope, and that stamp remained on that envelope till it got to its destination. When you're fulfilling vision and destiny, you got to learn to take a lickin' and keep right on stickin'. Just like that stamp, it stays on the envelope. Hallelujah. Even beyond arriving at its destination. What are you saying, Michael Woods? You got to stay with it even though life throws you blows. Once you get clarity, of your where you're going. You gotta roll with the punches and against all odds, make up in your mind you're gonna press through regardless to what's looking you in the face. Lord, I got to get through this. I got to get through this. So destiny then is accomplished basically, and I just said that about 5 different ways, when we achieve vision. I'll say that one more time. Destiny is accomplished when we receive or achieve— I'm sorry— vision. So what God predestined manifest— once it manifests itself, that is actually the achievement of vision. So vision and destiny have a strong congruency. They, they basically one and the same. Vision is seeing the destiny. That is a prophetic revelation. Yes, of the destiny. It's you seeing where you're going. Now, here's the problem. In the natural, There are people that suffer— watch this— from myopia. Myopia is nearsightedness, and it occurs, occurs when the physical length of the eye is greater or larger than the optical length, and it causes the eye to reflect light inaccurately. Oh. A lot of times what happens when people have myopia, they can see clearly up close, but at a distance everything appears to be fuzzy, blurry, details are lost. The sharpness deteriorates within the eye. The reality is this is not something that just happens to individuals most of the time. Usually it's passed down from generation to generation. Stay with me. I'm going I'm going somewhere with this. I think many of you already know where I'm going because a lot of you, hear me, are suffering from spiritual myopia. Mm-mm. Mm-mm. It's a bad place to be. A lot of people are operating with spiritual myopia. They can't, they don't have the ability to see what's coming. And it's been passed down because they've been around people who can't see what's coming. They've been around people who don't have vision. They've been around people that— watch this— and fathers, spiritual fathers and leaders who have an inability to look in their life and help them see and teach them how to see what God sees. Watch this. This is why the prophet is important. This is why this Day One service is important. Hear me? Because prophets can see into the future and help you walk through what you're dealing with when you can't see it. And then there is teaching that is necessary to help you get your vision Right. Listen, your vision without destiny, and when you're walking in myopia and can't see the destiny, it's like a surgeon without a scalpel. It's like a bar without alcohol. It's like water hallelujah, without a faucet or distribution point, because you can't really get the full benefit of water if there's not a place where it's distributed properly. So when you don't have a vision of your destiny, it's almost impossible to achieve it, is what I'm saying. It's, it's like a dancer without a song. Vision gives your destiny— watch this— inspiration and direction. So when you can see the vision, it inspires you to keep going. It helps you determine the ways to get there because you have an idea of where you want to arrive. Most people have a GPS in their car. It's never going to work if you don't cast the vision of destination. You have to enter the destination, and then that big satellite in the sky is going to communicate to your car. Your car is going to communicate to you how to get there. Wait a minute, you gotta have an idea of where you're going spiritually or where your life is headed. Some of you are basing that on what other people told you. You're basing that on what you feel. But there's a real plan for your life. And what I'm, what I'm challenging you to do today is to ignite a discipline in your spirit. Hear me. That will cause you— listen to this— to pursue that clarity at all costs and not move another step until you're clear. And that's why some of you that are religious have need of prophets. Why, why a lot of y'all try to X out the prophet's ministry and discredit prophets. Prophets are necessary because prophets can hear from God concerning where you are when you can't. And they give you a foundation to build on and give you things you can discuss with God to give you more clarity as you speak to God yourself. Wow. Trying to discover your destiny without vision— hear this— it's similar to trying to ignite a fire without a match. Think about that for a minute. I was at my mother-in-law's house last night, my wife and I, and, um, we had the fireplace going, so we had to put new logs on the fireplace and reignite them, and we had to get matches. So when we got the matches, here I am trying to strike the match to get it to light. Match would not light for me for nothing. So my wife, very wise, she's a lot of common sense, man. Very wise lady, always looking out for me. She says, baby, just stick the match in those ashes down there that's already burning. And they gonna set on fire. So it eliminated my effort trying to strike that match. Okay? I stuck that match in the fire, lit those logs immediately, but I never would've been able to reignite those logs without fire, without the match. Some of you trying to pursue a God dream, a God destiny, and you don't even know what it is. I know you think you do. You feel it. Oh yeah, you feel it. But did you see it? Did you hear him say it? Because he's real. God anthropomorphically has a mouth for real. He anthropomorphically has ears for real. He has eyes for real. Anthropomorphic means that if it says that God has a mouth and he speaks, it means he has a mouth. He really does. We're made in his image. We're made like him. He has a mouth. Mouth. Come on, he can talk, he can see. The question is, do you see what he sees? Have you heard what he's saying? Matter of fact, I'm not done. I'm gonna just stop right there because I got a lot to come. I'm gonna just stop right there because I believe that's an important point, and I think that's what I've been hitting at all this message. Have you really heard from God? Let he that hath an ear to hear, hear what the Spirit says to the church. Revelation. Glory to God. When he said that probably 30 times in talking to the 7 churches at Asia Minor. I want to propose that question to you. Do you have an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to you about your life? Or are you just going to continue to make things up and do things your way? I didn't come to ruin your Christmas. I really didn't. I really am trying to help you because I promise you, life will be a whole lot better if you follow after the voice of God. If you stop following the crowd and follow the— and follow the cloud. See, many of you are following the crowd. You're following popularity. Oh my God. You're following after the world's way of living. You're following after religious ideas. Even those of you most spiritual ones, some of y'all more religious than the folk y'all call religious because y'all go through the same motions trying to get the same results. And some of the results you're looking for, you're not getting. Some of y'all lying about getting them because you're really not getting them. Because when you look at the fruit on the lives of the people you're saying being affected by the stuff you're doing with them, they like still the same. And my friends, that's a problem. So what I'm suggesting you do, adjust your hearing. Get rid of this spiritual myopia where you cannot see beyond the realm of the earth. You need to have eyes. To see into the realm of the spirit. It's a whole nother realm and culture beyond this earth. And God says he wants to, wants to bring you into this place so you really can walk in the spirit. You know why many of you are fulfilling the lust of your flesh and doing what you want to do? Because it's the lust of your flesh. Because you're not walking in the spirit. To walk means, in Greek, means to be deported into. Oh, it didn't mean just get up and start walking and squint your eyes and speaking in tongues. That ain't walking in the spirit. Shalom. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Stay with me. Don't you dare scroll. I'm trying to help you. I'm working on you today. Walking in the Spirit means to be deported into, to be deported to another place, to transition to another realm. And I'm here to tell you that realm exists. It's full of ideas. It's full of innovation. It's full of plans. All God wants is for you to visit. Your destiny awaits you. We gotta finish this later. I'll finish it later this week. But your destiny is pulling you. Your destiny is calling you. Your destiny is saying, I want you. I want you to align. Because he declared it again before you ever got to this planet, and he sent you here with it inside of you. He's just requiring of you to discipline yourself. Get off scroll social media, following the crowd, scrolling timelines, checking your phone for likes. Who cares about that? You know what? If you follow the destination and the vision, humans gonna like you anyway, because that's what it's designed to do, to attract humans to you so you can lead them to God. And whatever capacity that is, but don't create it yourself. Yeah, my heart just grieves at some of the things I see, especially these younger ministers and leaders. Great anointings on their life, great ambition, great vision. But the question becomes, is the vision of the flesh or is it from God? You know, and as fathers and patriarchs, it's important that we embrace these— this younger generation and try to reach them before they derail and shipwreck for real. Life is more than what you experience inside of the four walls of the church. You got to be anointed the more outside the church. To really take dominion and take your place of authority. For real. I'm not talking about talking about dominion. Dominion my life, man. I've been teaching dominion and living dominion my life. And now like never before. And when you operate in dominion, you take the anointing that's on your life out of the ministry and take it also into the marketplace. And the municipality. So governments experience it, the marketplace experiences it. It's not just limited to the bubble of the church and ministry. I think I ended up going away. I didn't anticipate I had a whole lot of other stuff I wanted to share. I want to talk about illumination, revelation. We'll talk about that. That later, but I want you guys to fulfill your destiny for real, not something you made up. Just get this, if you didn't get nothing else out of this: your destiny is not your decision, it's your discovery. I'll say that again and I'm quitting. Your destiny is not your decision, It's your discovery. Let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for this word today. And I pray, God, I pray, I pray that one, it will be received in love. And God, I pray that you will forgive me of anything I might have said that I said the wrong way, or that you maybe didn't ordain. But God, in the name of Jesus Jesus, I believe this word came from you. I totally subjected myself to you, and I pray, God, that the people that hear this word will see clearly their destiny, that they will get a vision of what you saw when you declared the end from the beginning, and they will align themselves with that, walk that out and move in sweatless victory. And I praise you for it now, in Jesus' name. Amen. And thanks be to God. Listen, believe it or not, I know sometimes some of the things that we share, teach, can be straight to the point. And you know, that's just who we are, and it can appear your heart, but at the end of the day, it's because we love you. Bible said God chastised those we love.
