Manifesting Prophetic Desting, Part 4, "Prophetic Character, B" | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr.

In this live teaching and prayer session, Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. leads an extended worship, declaration, and prayer before delivering a sermon titled “Manifesting Prophetic Destiny – Part 4: Maintaining Prophetic Character.” He begins with exuberant praise of God’s unchanging nature, declares victory over the enemy, and pronounces numerous spiritual protections and blessings over the congregation, businesses, families, and the community. The teaching then outlines the core principles of prophetic destiny: every destiny has a divinely‑set delivery date, a demonic opposition, and requires decisive, God‑aligned choices and the anointing to fulfill it. Woods shifts focus to the necessity of “prophetic character,” defining it through biblical maturity (James 3:17; Galatians 5:22‑23) and the fruit of the Spirit, emphasizing that true maturity is not measured by age, tenure, or spiritual gifts but by purity, peace, gentleness, mercy, and lack of hypocrisy. He further connects prophetic character to marital fidelity, using 1 Timothy 3 and 1 Timothy 5 to illustrate that a blameless, monogamous marriage mirrors Christ’s relationship to the church and is essential for spiritual authority. Practical methods are presented: living blamelessly, honoring the marriage covenant, embodying the bishop’s qualifications, and ensuring one’s works align with professed faith. The session concludes with a corporate prayer for maturity, blameless marriages, and prophetic breakthrough, a call to give financially, and a reminder that only 40 days remain in the year for prophetic fulfillment.

Sure, your word declares, for this purpose was the Son of God manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. So Father, we cancel every assignment of Satan, every spirit of witchcraft, and every warlock god, or every generational curse. And we renounce it in the name of Jesus. According to your word in 2 Corinthians 4:1-2, your word says, therefore, seeing we have this ministry, As we have received mercy, we faint not, but we have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty. We walk not in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully, by the manifestation of the truth. So Father, as we pray tonight, God, we thank you that even this ministry you've given us here at Rother Church, God, under the mighty hand of mercy and grace and equity and favor of heaven. God, we thank you, God, that we have this ministry, God, that we faint not. We will not quit. We will not give up, God. We'll keep declaring the truth. We'll keep loving people. We'll keep preaching the gospel. We'll keep praying. We'll keep worshiping. We will not faint, God. Hallelujah. And we renounce dishonesty. We renounce every motive and everything that's not of you, God, in the name of Jesus. And we declare this is a ministry of truth. This is a ministry of power. This is a ministry of fire. This is a ministry, God, that rests under the auspices of your anointing, God. And so, Father, we thank you Oh, Shabaya. Yes, God. Hallelujah. Thank you that we don't handle the word of God deceitfully, God, but we'll speak the truth in love. And we declare we won't miss it to the left nor to the right, God, but we'll be accurate in all things. And whatever you tell us to do, God, we'll do, God. Whatever you tell us to say, we'll say, God. And the name of Jesus will be glorified, and the name of Jesus will be exalted. And Jesus, we call you Lord. Jesus, we call you King, God. Hallelujah, hallelujah. And we thank you, God, that we'll manifest your power in this ministry. Oh God, and we'll give you the glory for every ounce of power that flows through this ministry, God. Every person that is saved, every person that is baptized with the Holy Spirit. Oh my God, every business, God, that is deployed. Oh God, we even pray for our community, God. We pray for every entrepreneur in this community, God. And we decree and declare, God, that every business will prosper, it will soar, God. And God, they will see increase, God, in the mighty name of Jesus. And Father, we thank you, God, that their businesses will survive. God, we give you the glory. We give you the honor, and we thank you that even in this part of Henry County and DeKalb County, God, you will cause this ministry to be a light, and many will be turned to righteousness, God, and many will be born again, and many will be saved, and many homes will be transformed, and marriages will be restored, God. And we give you praise. And we give you glory. We give you glory, God. We don't understand everything you're doing, but God, we worship you and we give you praise. And we, we are here in obedience, God. Oh God, you have called us to this thing, and God, we'll do it. Hallelujah. In obedience to you, God, not to be seen of men. Hallelujah. Not to get accolades of men, but God, to give your name the glory and to cause you to glorified God. Hallelujah. So Father, tonight, in the name of Jesus, we strategically renounce anything that is materializing in our lives that can cause a setback. And Father, we renounce anything that could cause discouragement and pain. And Father, even as we come, we repent any place we've missed the mark, God. We repent right now of any sin of omission and sin of commission. And Father, we repent in the name of Jesus according to Psalm 90:8. And Father, by divine authority, we declare every afflicting demon that has assessed your people, God, this community, this territory, through secret sin. We declare those sins depart now, and we declare deliverance and healing and breakthrough, God. And Father, we block these things from returning to our mind, our body, our soul, and our life. And Father, we decree and declare in the name of Jesus that any mental and emotional turmoil that's produced by satanic attacks, we speak to the conscious mind and we decree that the mind is cleansed through the blood of Jesus Christ. And Father, we decree tonight that we are acquitted. We are discharged and we are justified. And we thank you, Jesus, for your blood tonight. Father, we renounce satanic manipulations in the name of Jesus Christ. We renounce every sin reigning in the life of your people. And we decree and declare that sin shall no longer have dominion over our mind or our body. According to Romans 6:12. And Father, we decree and declare that our delight is and will be in the law of the Lord according to the inward man, according to Romans 7:22. Father, tonight we renounce soul ties and soul agreements, and in the name of Jesus Christ, we renounce any soul agreement, demonic attachment, any demonic seduction or demonic entanglement concerning our life and those in our family and those of our household. And in the name of Jesus, God, we repent of any spiritual intercourse with demonic entities that grant contamination to our soul. And Father, we renounce, oh my God, any permission granted to any agent of the devil. And Father, we decree and declare, hallelujah, that we are covered in the blood. Hallelujah. And we cannot be infiltrated, and no satanic encroachment or defilement can block or hinder the blessing of God in our life according to Isaiah 28:18. And Father, tonight in the name of Jesus, we destroy every altar and every token and every anointing of Satan that influences our life, God. And we relinquish every soul tie and dealing with any demonic contract that has entered into our life in the past through generational curses, through bondages, through vestiges of the past. And Father, we now declare that we are one with Christ according to 1 Corinthians 6:17. And we decree and declare that only the anointing and influence of the Holy Spirit operates in and through our life. Father, we renounce satanic masquerades tonight. In the name of Jesus, I renounce the hidden things of shame. According to 1 Corinthians 4:2. I renounce the demons of secrecy and guilt which have produced deception, hypocrisy, and pretense in the life of your people. I decree that we are strengthened with might by the Holy Spirit in our inner man. Yes, God. And Father, we thank you that this is so according to Ephesians 3:16. Father, tonight we renounce carnality in the name of Jesus Christ. We renounce all speeches, all actions and thoughts that produce or reinforce carnality in our life. We put to death the deeds of the flesh. According to Romans 8:13. We take control of our mind and direct our attention away from the things of the flesh according to Romans 8:5. For the carnal mind is enmity against God according to Romans 8:7. Father, we decree and declare it is written that whatsoever man soweth, that shall he also reap according to Galatians 6:7. So in the name of Jesus, I decree the immediate destruction of every seed of carnality that confronts us. Everything we've sown to the flesh, Father, we declare those seeds destroyed in the name of Jesus. Every soul tie, every bad relationship, every person that doesn't fit in your purpose and your plan for our life, we command those seeds, those evil communications, every Spirit of gossip that presents itself in our life, we command it to be destroyed in the name of Jesus. Father, tonight we further renounce demonic influences. So in the name of Jesus, I renounce any association that have influenced us to think wrong, do wrong, to doubt you, God. Father, tonight we release our mind and our soul from the snare of bad choices. And Father, we declare that these choices are reversed and that your blood— Oriansata papapataia. Wipes out every bad choice. For God, we believe our decisions determine our destiny. And so Father, in the name of Jesus, every bad choice, we plead the blood against it in the name of Jesus. And we declare God, that these evil associations are dismantled and they have no authority, they have no power, they have no place, they have no course in our life, God. In the name of Jesus. I decree and declare, aha, immediate termination, immediate termination of mental fatigue, spiritual fatigue, and physical weariness caused by outside influences in our life. And by the authority given to me in the name of Jesus, I command these demons and their allies to take their leave off us now in the name of Jesus, never to return. I terminate their present and future assignments and I block all satanic channels they use to locate me in the name of Jesus. Your blood, God. Your blood, God. We plead the blood. We plead the blood. Yahweh, your word declares you would that we prosper and be in health even as our soul prosper. Father, you said— the first thing you said to us was be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth, subdue it, and have dominion in the earth. So devil, in the name of Jesus, we renounce the spirit of unfruitfulness in the life life of God's people. And we decree and declare that your people are fruitful. And Father, I decree and declare that the spirit of fruitfulness even rests on this community, God, in the name of Jesus. I declare that there will be a glory that comes from this 410 Santa Fe Trail, that the anointing that's on the business owner next door and the anointing that's on this church, God, I I declare that a glory would be released into this community and people will come and find you, God, and they will hear your word and their lives will be changed and they will become fruitful. I release the spirit of fruitfulness and I bind and renounce unfruitfulness. I declare that what our hands touch what our hands touch prospers. What our hands touch increase. What our hands touch— lebe soto rabbi, bransata babababa soto rabba kaya— yields heavenly results in the untold, rabbi. In the mighty name of Jesus. I declare it to be so. In the name of Jesus, we renounce any fellowship with unfruitful works of darkness, according to Ephesians 5:11. And in the name of Jesus Christ, I decree tonight that the activities of satanic agents that produce spiritual— ooh, shabba! I hear you, God— incapacitation and demonic harassment. I declare those demons be destroyed and terminated now. I command their assignment to be canceled. For this purpose was the Son of God manifested. That he might destroy the works of the devil. Lord have mercy. Lord have mercy. God, we renounce covenants that are not of you. In the name of Jesus, I renounce tonight satanic illegally initiated covenants that have impacted the anointing on our lives, the manifestation of glory in our lives, that have impacted our spiritual condition or our spiritual resourcefulness for the kingdom of God. We break those covenants now, those illegal Covenants from hell, we break them now in the name of Jesus. No longer will they hinder the move of God. Whoosh! In our lives. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I abolish covenants Those I knowingly and unknowingly entered into, not knowing they were demonic. And Father, any covenant that has produced, uh, unresponsive, unhealthy mental, emotional, physical, or spiritual condition in us, God, we command it to be done away with in the In the name of Jesus. And I decree and declare tonight that their perforations, their broken places, their trauma, their mental breaks, I declare that by the authority of the blood of Jesus, I decree and declare they are healed. I declare every gap is filled. In the name of Jesus, we renounce self-defilement. Father, we renounce statements that have come out of our mouths that have self-imposed defilement and curses. We renounce self-imposed bondage that hinders purpose. We cast it down. Your word says we are snared by the words of our mouth. So Father, we renounce every snare that we've spoken that's not of you. Every snare that have flown out of impurity, of thought, out of hurt, out of bitterness, out of unforgiveness— we renounce every snare in the name of Jesus. We command it to fall to the ground. We could— we render it powerless by the authority of the blood of Jesus. Father, I even renounce tonight the acceptance of statements that were spoken concerning us by parents, Siblings, relatives, neighbors, friends, former friends, and even people in the church, coworkers, and even people I don't know and we don't know. God, we renounce those word curses. We are not what they said. We are what you said. Ha! Sha tosheba loboko siyantiti aye. We are, God, what you have spoken about us, with the head and not the tail. We are above and never beneath. We're lenders and not borrowers, God. Hallelujah. We're more than conquerors through Christ that loved us. Oh, hallelujah. We are what you said. We're blessed in the city. We're blessed in the field. We're blessed when we come. We're blessed when we go home. Hoorah, boss! Yes, God. Thank you, God. In the name of Jesus, we cast down every stronghold over our mind, and we thank you that those strongholds have no authority. We pull them down now in Jesus' name. We decree and declare that every prophetic word in our life that you have spoken will come to pass. We look for it, we expect it, and we thank you that no word curse will render us inadequate to receive what you have promised. We'll live in health. We'll live in wealth. And we'll walk out your purpose according to Ezekiel 18:2. Father, tonight I renounce Self-deception. And I decree the immediate destruction of satanic records that bear our name. I decree that the blood of Jesus is now applied to cleanse and to heal every condition created by the words and actions and impressions of others concerning us. We cancel generational demonic transfer. And we overrule any spiritual defilement from our maternal or paternal background. And Father, by the influence of the Holy Spirit, we flush out spiritual corruption, contamination, and any defilement in my father's or mother's ancestry. Glory to God. Hallelujah. This is our Thursday night Bible study. We're calling it Thrust because I, I just believe believe that God honestly wants to thrust us into a place in him that we've never been into. And as we go into this new year, it's, it's 40 days left in this year, 40 exactly. And I'm telling you, we need to make sure that our hearts and our minds are aligned with what God God wants for us. We can't play with this, it's real. Glory to God. And, and God has a real purpose that he's planning for our life. Glory to God. Uh, tonight I'm going to continue. I won't hold you long. Um, those of you live, please guys, please share, please share. Glory to God. Uh, tag someone below. We're streaming over 3 different Facebook pages and YouTube tonight. Tonight. So for all of our audience that normally watches us from the studio, we're in the church tonight. But I wanted to make sure I got into the building tonight. I've been battling flu, uh, and I won the day it hit my body, but I took a turn for the best yesterday, and I'm so grateful. Glory to God. And I decided I was going to press my way into the house. Glory to God. So tonight, this is part 4 of Manifesting Prophetic Destiny. Glory to God. For those of you that are in here and those of you that are out there, glory to God. Um, I want you to grab this message because this series— again, 40 days left as we go into 2025, which is going to be extremely prophetic year. Uh, the number 5, the number of grace, is the number of spiritual ascension. Um, 2 and 5 together is 7, is maturity and completion. As we move into this new season, God is going to begin to show us things spiritually that we've never seen. And some of what we're gonna see is gonna be the manifestation of prophetic words that have been spoken. And so I'm teaching this because we gotta learn how to take a word that comes to us, whether we read a prophetic word, whether the prophet speaks it, whether God says something to us in prayer. We got to learn how to take that word from prophetic concept to manifestation. Because a lot of times we hear stuff, we read promises, we study things, and we never see it happen. And that's not how God wants us to live, and I refuse to live that way. So I just want to— I'm giving you principles, things I practice to see the word of the Lord actually work and come to pass in my life. Touch yourself, say, this thing needs to work. If you're online, write in the comments, this thing needs to work. It has— it's real, and God wants it to work. Glory to God. So just by way of review, uh, part 1, I shared a few points with you. I'm not going to teach them, I'm just going to review them. But I share with you, number 1, that all destiny has a delivery date. So if God planned the destiny, there's a date that's already been decided for that destiny to manifest and come to pass in your life. Number 2, I taught that all destiny has a devil. I, and, and I think I'm gonna deal with that a little more on Sunday, but the reality is The very fact that there is something God has planned, there's a demonic confederacy that has formed to stop the manifestation of that thing coming to pass in your life. Say this with me, say, can't no devil stop my destiny. I need you to believe that. Can't no devil stop what God has spoken, what God has planned. You need to believe it, you need to expect it, you need to look for it. And then we, we learned also that all destiny is connected to decisions. Now we looked at the fact that God ultimately decides the destiny. You can't change it, he decides it. But your decisions is— are the tools that are used to manifest the destiny. The decision is decided, but you got to make the right decisions so that the destiny can come alive, so that you can handle it, so that you can tangibly deal with it. And then we, we talked about how it's important in the process of destiny of protecting the anointing. That's on your life, because you got to be anointed to defeat the devil. You got to be anointed to walk into God's plan. You can't do it without the anointing. Even Jesus had to be anointed to fulfill his prophetic purpose. He went to a place called Gethsemane, which is oil press, and that Gethsemane is where they took olives. The women would dance on them and crush them, and oil would out. Jesus went there to pray before he died because he needed— it was symbolic that the anointing was necessary to defeat the cross, to resurrect from the dead, to finish his purpose. You got to have the anointing, you got to protect it. So tonight, I started something last week, and I was talking about on Thursday maintaining prophetic character. One of the reasons we don't see the manifestation of prophecy in our lives a lot of times is because we don't maintain consistent prophetic character. Say that with me, say prophetic character. And we talked last week, I gave you 3 of these things. I'm gonna give you 3 more tonight. I may give, maybe give you 4. I'll probably get to 4. I told you inside of prophetic character is your manhood or your humanity. Manhood being womanhood and manhood. You're human because the prophecy has to manifest through a human being. All right, we also dealt with last week, inside of that manhood, every individual has a prophetic profile. And we talked about your assets, your abilities, and your assignments. That's your prophetic profile. Profile. Prophecy comes through that profile. Anything outside of that profile, what God has said about your assets, about your abilities, about your assignments, it ain't God. It ain't God because God already had decided what your assets are. He's decided what your abilities are. He's already decided what your assignments are. Oh my God. Then we talked about ministry, and we talked about the message. So inside of the prophetic character, there has to be humanity, manhood. There is a ministry. Your, your prophetic destiny is only manifesting so you can affect someone else. So you can impact someone else's life. The thing about Christianity, there's no room in it for selfishness. Everything about what we do is about somebody else. It gets hard sometimes because at the end of the day, you, you look at yourself sometimes, say, well, what about me? Because you're constantly doing and serving others. But that's what this life is about, and we do it with joy, we do it with love. Amen. And inside it, there's also a message. So tonight, let me— let's just jump right in here. Go to James 3:17. So the first thing I want to give you tonight in maintaining prophetic character, out of James 3:17, I want to show you guys Why maturity is important. Say that with me. Say maturity. Come on, say it again. Say maturity. Okay, so let me, let me first of all, before I read this, say what maturity is not. Maturity has very little to do with age or time served. I'm gonna say that again. It has very little to do with age or time served. You can meet some folk in church today And they'll tell you, I've been saved 40 years and I've been in the way for 50 years. And that's all they've been is in somebody way. And they just as immature spiritually as they want to be, because how long you've been in the church don't make you spiritually mature. Oh boy, oh boy. How long you've been saved doesn't make you spiritually mature. Let me go deeper. How much you speak in tongues doesn't make you spiritually mature. Oh boy, gifts, uh-oh, do not make you spiritually mature. Mature? Trying to help your prophetic character here. What makes you mature? It's right here, James 3:17. Let's read it. He said, but the wisdom— here we go— that is from above is first pure. So what the— here's the first key right there that brings spiritual maturity. Wisdom from above. This word wisdom, powerful word, Sophia in Greek, it means the intelligence, it means knowledge of diverse spiritual things. So the Sophia, or the skill set from heaven— watch this— as is imparted through relationship. So this wisdom comes through me spending time with God and developing relationship with him, where he gives me diverse knowledge of different things, where he shows me things I couldn't otherwise know unless he taught me. Wow. So he said, this is what maturity is measured on. The first piece, I got to get some wisdom that comes from above, because the Bible says here it's pure. I said, well, what does that got to do with maturity? I'm going to show you. Haggnos in Greek is the word pure. Watch this, it means it's exciting, it's to be revered. Watch this. It is mature. It is matured. It— because watch this— it's untainted. It's exciting because you're constantly learning and growing. So the mature person doesn't say, I've been in the way 40 years. The mature person says, I've been learning from God for 40 years and I'm still excited to learn. Say maturity. Uh-huh. Yeah, go to Galatians 5:22. Let's go. Well, no, stay right there. Let me finish reading. He said it's pure, it's peaceable, it's gentle, it's easily to be entreated, it's full of mercy and good fruits and without partiality and without hypocrisy. All this stuff is mature because it's born out of the wisdom, the Sophia of God, that is peaceable. Oh my God, it's very immature not to have peace in the midst of storms, no matter how much you speak in tongues, no matter how well we perform in the building. Hallelujah, glory to God. It's gentle glory to God. It's moderate, it's fair, it's mild, it's easy to be entreated. In other words, it obeys what it's told to do. That's maturity. So easy to be entreated means I obey what God tells me. So Let's take the prophecy out of the equation, the prophetic manifestation of prophetic destiny out of the equation. This is the basic stuff he tells us to do. Do we obey that? Of good fruit we bring forth good fruit. Without— we're without partiality and we ain't hypocrites. That's what maturity looks like. That's a lot right there in that verse, man. James 3:17. Go, go to Galatians 5:22, show you what it looked like again. It says, but the fruit of the Spirit the fruit, the maturity of the Spirit. So you see fruit on a vine, you see an orange, you see an apple on an apple tree, you see the fruit, you see a tomato hanging, that means the seed has matured. So when I'm a mature believer, and if I want to maintain prophetic character I must make sure— hear me, guys, glory to Jesus— that I got some fruit hanging. The tree is known by the fruit it bears. So the Bible said, but the fruit of the Spirit— now why does it say but? Because verses 17 through 21 talks about the works of the flesh. Flesh. And you can go back and read those later if you want to, but the reality is, if you're operating in any of those, that's immature. That's not the fruit that should be coming out of our life. The works of the flesh. The fruit of the Spirit— what should be seen of you and I as mature believers— is number one, love. Love, joy, peace. Okay, so love, agape, unconditional love. Again, we love without condition because that's the fruit of Jesus Christ being on the inside of us. Joy— our joy walk is strong. Joy is different than happiness, uh, chara in Greek here, and it literally means joy you have received, again, because of a relationship. So because of my relationship with God, not based on what he do, I got joy because I got him, right? I'm glad because that's mature, that he may not be doing what I want him to do, but I got joy because I got him. Hallelujah. Peace. That's, that's a, that's a good one right there, because Irene in Hebrew— in Greek, I'm sorry— it, it literally means a state of exemption. Watch this. From havoc or torment. Normal. When you got the fruit of peace, havoc can never take you over. When you got the fruit of peace, you are— this word means you are exempt from havoc. And if you end up in havoc and it takes over your mind, it means you need to work on your peace. Your peace is in question. When you constantly fighting battles of havoc in your brain cavity. Glory to Jesus. Because you got— this word deals with harmony with God. So when you're in harmony with God, you trust what God says. And you don't believe he's gonna do anything to harm you. Glory to God. Boy, Jesus. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance. Against such there is no law. I just want to show you, you can go back through all those, but that's what maturity looks like. It's, it's operating in the fruit of the Spirit. Spirit. Notice tongues is not on this list. Yeah, notice prophecy ain't on this list. Notice being an apostle ain't on this list, cuz no matter what your title or perceived anointing, every person needs to walk in these fruit. And if you can't master these fruit, you probably don't need a title anyway. Oh God, Jesus. I think we should spend more time working on maturing in these basic things than trying to be someone deep and wonderful and someone one with a title. Yeah, I know a lot of great preachers who can preach and prophesy that have no temperance, can't endure temptation at all, can't live nothing that comes out of their mouth. That's a dangerous piece. We, we got to work on this maturity because It's this fruit— watch this— that will draw a world of people who are living in havoc to us when they see that in the midst of havoc in our world, we operating in peace, we operating in joy, we still moving in love. Lord have mercy, Jesus. We need to work on those. Say maturity. Glory to God. Here's the second one. I'm gonna move. I can stay in maturity all night, but I wanna, I wanna hit this because it's important. Because again, we're talking about manifesting prophetic destiny, and tonight again we're talking about maintaining prophetic character. So part of that is working on your maturity so we can get prophecy out of stuff. Here's the second piece, and, and, and, and I, I think it's going to be very helpful even for my single people and my married people watching, because this principle is important. If we want to see the manifestation of prophetic destiny in our life, we must embrace marriage properly. And when I was putting the notes together for this, I was like, okay, well, everybody married, but single people need to understand this premise because at the end of the day, this is a part of your character, how we handle marriage. The Bible says a man should love his wife like Christ loved the church and gave himself for for it, which means the earthly marriage should be an example. It should be an example of Christ's relationship to his bride, the church. And that's a tall order because we gotta love like Christ love, right? So we got to figure this out because at the end of the day, that's what he's requiring of us. Glory to God. Go to 1 Timothy 3, please. 1 Timothy 3. Hallelujah. 1 Timothy 3, verse 2. Let's read. The Bible says a bishop then— someone say this is about a bishop. No, I'm— watch this. A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife. Glory to God. Village sufficient, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach. So to make this make sense, let me just deal with the word bishop. The word bishop is episkopos in Greek here, and it means an overseer, not necessarily of just a church matter of fact, in the Roman Church, a bishop has no congregation. A bishop oversees administrative functions and duties. So the reality is, this word is not as connected to people in church as we would believe it is. Now, every one of us has a responsibility to work out our own soul salvation. Glory to God! So you're the overseer of your Jesus. Glory to God. Turn it down, son. Jesus, that's way too loud. Glory to God. Take the gain down, son. It say gain at the top. Glory to God. Take it down some more. Thank you, Lord. Thank you. Hallelujah. All right, touch yourself. Say, I got my own soul salvation. That's good, Shariel. With fear and trembling, you got to work it out yourself, right? So let's take what Paul says about the bishop, all right, and let's apply it to ourself. In marriage, the man and the wife— let's just apply this, let's just apply the marriage or covenant to a bishopric. Glory to God. So both the husband and the wife, we must first be what? Blameless. In other words, throughout that marriage, we need to work hard to make sure that we don't bring blame to the marriage and embarrassment to the institution of the marriage. How to do that? Which means if you're blameless, that means what came to check your life, they would find that you are in right standing in God and in the marriage. Okay, because again, this marriage has to be a mirror to what the world sees as the church. Jesus. Someone said, well, nobody's perfect, but we ought to wake up every day trying to avoid blame. That's mature. Not wake up going looking for blame, looking for stuff that could spot your wife. My God. Okay, okay. Now, the husband of one wife. So, so this kills polyamorous polygamy, 5 wives, sister wives. Let's kill all that. So a marriage in the church, we don't have the testimony of being able to have multiple wives. We could only have one wife, can only have one husband. Wait a minute, I can't be the husband of one wife if I'm married to a man, because a man can't be a wife. So at the end of the day, that's homosexuality, that's sin, that's out of order. Daughter. So marriage, mature marriage, is between a man and a woman and them only. Are y'all hearing me? Nobody else is welcome. No matter how much you want to explore, nobody's welcome. It's just you and your wife, or wife, you and husband. Well, we just got to keep it fiery. No, nobody else is welcome. One. That's what they say, right? That's what the marriage should look like. Also, the marriage needs to be villager. That man needs to work hard to be villager, which means he needs to be sober. He shouldn't be intoxicated intoxicated, not only just by alcohol, but, but by anything outside of the marriage. So if I'm in love with my wife, it's ridiculous for me to go out here and fall in love, try to fall in love with somebody else and get intoxicated by someone else. No, you got to be vigilant. That's why you have to stay focused, stay off social media and following all kind of craziness. Says be of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach. So again, the marriage is always teaching a lesson about Christ. Watch this, as long as we walk with Christ, guess what? There's going to be wronging and forgiven. Guess what Christ does when we wrong him? He forgives us. In every marriage, guess what there's going to be? Wronging and forgiving. If you ain't ready to do that, you, you don't be married. Glory to God. Hallelujah. I'm almost done. Say So it's got to be scripturally in order. Glory to God. Drop down, um, yeah, drop down to verse— drop down to verse 5. Verse 5 said, for if a man know not how to rule his own house, how can he take care of the church of God. So when I see all these little apostles and pastors, first of all, they ain't got nowhere to stay, can't even run their own house, can't pay their own bills, can't take care of the children. Children. I know I said children. How in the world you going to run the church? The Bible say you can't do it. It's impossible. You— this thing has to be scriptural in order. God first, then your marriage, then ministry. Any other order is out of order. Glory to God. My wife and my children come before this church every day of the week. If it came down to me feeding them and making sure— glory to the name of God— my house is taken care of over this, I'm choosing my family. Because at the end of the day, it's not that I don't love what I'm doing. God commands me to put them first. I bind this black cat in the name of Jesus. I command him to die in Jesus' name. Listen, the devil's crazy, I'm telling you. Marriage again is always teaching. You got preachers just— I mean, credit jacked up, got a 200 credit score. How you going to run the church and your, your credit 200? That, that, that's a problem. So we have to work on our prophetic character and make sure we present way. Glory to God. Lord, I of you. Say marriage. All right, I'm gonna move on. Go to Titus 1:16. There are methods to living that keep your prophetic character in check. So we're going to talk a little bit about some methods, some methods, right? Amen. Hallelujah. Titus 1:7. Glory to Jesus. I'm sorry, 1:16. Y'all ready? It says, 'They profess that they know God, but in works they—' Okay, here we go. So there are a lot of people who open their mouth and confess that they know God. You look around the body of Christ, there's a bunch of folk would tell you quick, I know Jesus, I know God, which in reality is— takes us back to fruit. The Bible said in their works they deny him. So they're saying something with their lips, but their behavior is displaying something totally different than what they're saying out of their mouth. Now here's my take on that. First of all, don't go to hell from church. Ain't no way I'm gonna sit up in the church, talk about God, talk about scripture, and bust hell wide open from church. And live because I'm living like a demon every day. Something's wrong with that. This is why these preachers have no power. This is why they have no anointing, because they don't live anything they preach. This is why Christians don't have power. Because in their works they deny him. We are changing our methods. It's more than talking it, it's more than looking at it, it's more than having a big building, a nice building, going to a church. We must display these methods in our life daily so people can see the change and stop playing grace. Oh boy, cuz the Bible say you're denying him with your works. So you think you're representing him cuz you saying something— don't scroll, glory to God— you think cuz you saying it out of your mouth you really representing him. But honestly, if you ain't living what you're saying You're denying him. It's just like you don't know him at all. Watch this, he goes deep in this, man. He said your works deny him being abominable. Okay, that's the same thing he called lesbians and homosexuals. He says the abomination to him is the testimony So he's saying, now you being a hypocrite, talking something and not operating in the power of it, he says this, you're being abominable. Okay, someone said, okay, I didn't get on here for this. Okay, yeah, the reality is God is looking for a life. This life comes with sacrifice. Listen, if I'm gonna be a sinner, I'm just gonna be a sinner. I'm not going to play with God and live in sin. Come on, man, it's too many people out here faking the funk, doing that, and God's not pleased. But we want a word. We want to see prophecy come forth. I'm feeling better. He said this thing is abominable and disobedient. Good God Almighty. And watch the last part: unto every good work reprobate. In other words, every good you do, it's reprobate. You doing it, you feeding folk, you clothing folk, you, you got outreaches, you taking care of people, but it's reprobate because you ain't living what you preach. It— which means it counts for nothing. That's what reprobate mean. It counts for nothing. It's dung. God doesn't even count it to your credit. It gets you no merit. God says, I want to sacrifice life. I want you to maintain a character that will cause you to trust me and that people can see me through you. The Bible says in the last days many will have a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. We got to get this right. The church has to become the example of what heaven like on earth. Oh boy, not— see, we've been taught to wait to go to heaven, but we can bring heaven to us when we operate in a place of purity. Glory to God. I'm done. Let's pray. Don't scroll, guys. Stay with me. I want to pray for you. I want to pray. Glory to God. That you mature, that you understand marriage is always teacher, and that your methods change, that you live and exemplify what you say.
