Manifesting Prophetic Destiny, Part 2: Maintaining Prophetic Character | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr.

Dr. Mike Woods teaches on maintaining prophetic character through what he calls a "prophetic profile," the unique combination of assets, abilities, and assignments God reveals to each believer. He outlines the first three of ten principles: Manhood (inherent human value), Ministry (faithful service), and Message (speaking truth in love), emphasizing that protecting your spiritual anointing requires character integrity.
Chapters
Well, praise the Lord everybody, and welcome tonight to Thrust on Thursday.
I am Apostle Michael Lyris Woods, for those of you who are uninitiated. And listen, I am excited that you're here, and I'm really excited guys to be back in the studio. Um, between— I had a long road trip, and then when I got off the road, we spent a whole week basically just kind of dedicated to making sure we put the finishing touches on our new church. And so I didn't get in the studio any that week. Uh, we had our Supernatural Harvest weekend, which was absolutely phenomenal. And, uh, we had our initial services inside of our building. God moved, God blessed the people. Uh, this past Sunday we celebrated our second week in the facility. Uh, it was great. We had 6 new souls to be saved, 2 filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. So just an amazing process on this journey. And then right after that, I flew to Vegas to go to a pastor's conference and sat next to someone on the plane that coughed and sneezed the whole time. And so we were supposed to actually be doing Thursday Thrust from the church tonight but I opted to come into the studio. And you know, I'm grateful because I love the studio. Glory to God. And I get to share with so many of you. So if you're coming in tonight, what I need you to do, guys, go ahead and please, by all means, I need you to go ahead and share this for me. You know, sharing is indeed godly. So make sure you like, share, and comment tonight. Let somebody else know that we're here. I promise you this message Tonight is going to be a tremendous blessing to you and whoever you share it with. And you know, the Bible says about that, right? You're blessed to be a blessing. So if it's blessing you, of course, indeed is going to be a blessing to someone else. Uh, and again, I got back from Vegas. Um, I was really, uh, not feeling well at all Sunday, but I pressed through Sunday. We preached, uh, the opening message of this series, Manifesting Prophetic Destiny. Uh, God moved, he blessed us. But again, whatever I caught on that plane, I've been fighting it all week. So please bear with me tonight. Uh, I am fighting my strength, but the Holy Spirit is here with us. We're going to pray, we're going to believe God is going to rest on this teaching tonight. And again, guys, I need you to tag people below, I need you to like below, and I need you to share. Glory to God, because we believe that we have something to say. Uh, we believe that people need to hear what we have to say because we believe the message is transformative. And it's not just because I'm teaching it, honestly. It's because I believe that what God has given us is present-day truth, uh, that we speak in love. A lot of times it goes against the grain of the popular appeal, so many people don't share it because it's not really that entertaining. But I promise you, if you watch these lives, you stay with me, you follow these teachings, uh, your life will transform. We have too many testimonies over the last 35 years of full-time ministry where people have been tremendously changed and blessed by what God has called us to do. So we didn't just start doing this, we've been doing this for quite some time, and God has been good to us, uh, because our heart has always been for God's people.
So do me a favor, guys, tonight I see some of you sharing, I see some of you commenting.
Uh, thank you for being here.
So glad you're here.
Glory to God. God bless you tonight, Stephanie. Good to see you. Uh, God bless you, Titi. Good to see you, Bruce and Sharon.
Good to see all of you.
You guys, um, are phenomenal. You're amazing. Thank you for what you mean to this ministry. We're going to pray and we're going to get right into this tonight. Let's pray. Father, we give you praise, we give you glory, we thank you for your anointing that destroys yokes and removes burdens. Father, there's none like you nowhere. It's in you we live and move and have our being. You're our supernatural provider, you're our provision, you are everything. And God, we could do nothing without you.
You've been good to us, you've been faithful to us, you've been kind, God.
And besides you there is no other. And I thank you, God, for what you're doing. I thank you that what's to come is better than what has been. And I thank you, God, that literally we have stepped into the greatest days of our life. Many don't even recognize it, but God, we're in the greatest season that we could possibly ever be in as believers in this Hebraic season of 5785, Hei Pei. That we have the power, uh, prophetically to begin to speak what you've spoke over us and see it come to pass in our life. And so, Father, as we teach this tonight, I pray to God that your people would experience that, that they will learn the principles to cultivate that, and we will begin to see the manifestation of prophetic destiny in our life. And we give you praise for it now. In Jesus' name, amen and amen.
Man, God, I feel Jesus already. Uh, God bless everyone. God bless you, Pastor Jasper.
Good to see you.
Glory to God. Good to see everyone. So glad you're here.
Listen, I want you guys to stay with us tonight. I promise you I'm not going to be long, so I want you to really stay with us throughout this teaching. I believe that if you hang in here, glory to God, uh, you're going to experience something, uh, that's going to be very unique and significant for your life. You're going to get some word, uh, that you could take with you and literally apply to every aspect of your being.
So tonight, guys, uh, we are continuing our series.
Uh, God bless you, Laquita Rogers, good to see you. Thank you for being on.
Uh, from Vicksburg.
God bless you. Uh, glory to God. Thank you for being here. We'll continue our series on Manifesting Prophetic Destiny. This is part 2. We started this Sunday at the church, and I'm going to, throughout this teaching, uh, as— and I think the Lord is going to have me linger in this, uh, for quite some time until we get close to the end of the year. Because all the messages I've been teaching, these series, uh, going back to September, really, uh, worship, uh, forces of the Gentiles, supernatural provision, all the things I've been teaching have been getting us really prepared for crossing over into 2025 and actually experiencing the hand of God in our life for real.
And part of that, hear me, family, is learning to actually manifest prophetic destiny. Uh, can you say that with me?
Say prophetic destiny. And I want you to understand something: there is a prophetic destiny over every life.
And so on Sunday, just by way of review, uh, I— we talked about destiny. And so we defined destiny as an inevitable course of events. So there are events that have—
that are inevitable that God designed for your life. And we talked about how every destiny is designed by God, so you don't get to decide your destiny.
But what we did discover Sunday is that your decisions—
hear me, family— they determine destiny, but they don't decide it.
See, when you make the right decisions, it will cause the God destiny over your life to manifest. It will cause the God destiny over your life—
hear me, family— to come alive and be able to be handled tangibly in your life.
Now, if you make a set of decisions that are outside of God's inevitable course that he designed for your life, what you will end up doing is creating a separate destiny, a false destiny that's not God's plan. And we have to be careful that we don't do that. This is why relationship with God is important, because we learned Sunday that your destiny is not your decision. Hear me. Your destiny is actually your discovery. Matter of fact, somebody type that in the comments for me tonight. You're— oh boy, that— this is powerful. You're— whoo! Shabandi osa! Yes God, I give you praise. Your destiny is not your decision, it's your discovery. And you discover destiny, glory to God, when you spend time with God and discover what he has already planned. But when you go off doing things on your own, glory to God, what ends up happening, you create this branch of destiny that's not the perfect will of God for your life. And where we want to be— hear me— it's not the permissive will of God. You know, people talk about that. I honestly don't really agree that that's something that exists. I think it's something that It's another, uh, crutch that I think the church has created to make themselves feel good about error, when if we work hard at accuracy, we don't have to justify error. That's a whole nother message for another day. But God is perfect, and he tells us to be therefore perfect, for I also am perfect. And when he's talking about perfection there, that's teleios in Greek. He's saying be mature, be accurate, in the pursuit of my will, because he's accurate, because he doesn't miss. So God doesn't miss to the left nor to the right. Watch this. Hallelujah, hallelujah! Oh my God, I love you, Jesus. Uh, so you shouldn't miss it to the left nor to the right. Uh, God bless you, Bruce. You said I gave you a prophetic word a year and a half ago. About me and is falling in place. It's God's timing. Yes, prophecy takes time.
It's destiny.
It's a process. God bless you. Thank you for that testimony, Bruce.
Glory to God.
So the reality is, again, your destiny is not your decision, it's your discovery. We learned that Sunday. We also learned that all destiny has a delivery date. We also learned that every destiny has a devil. If you're really destined, you're going to be fought, you're going to be challenged. I would question whether you're in pursuit of God's real destiny if there wasn't a demonic challenge that was coming against you. All right, um, we talked about how God's destiny can't be changed. The only thing you could do is alter yourself into a false version of God's plan because you don't follow his ways. Uh, and then finally we learned that in order to see the manifestation of prophetic destiny, you have to protect your oil. And that's really what this, um, message— this series is about, giving you principle on how to manifest destiny.
Now here's what I realized that many people get prophecies, especially in this day and time.
I mean, there are a lot of people get prophecies from false prophets that ain't even prophets, and they're just trying to prophesy and prove something, and they believe it. But then there are people that actually have encounters with true prophets. And I think it was, you know, I didn't talk to Bruce, but I think it was right timely that he gave that testimony right there. The reality is Prophecy takes time to manifest and come to pass, but you have to know how to act and maintain prophetic character. And that's what we're going to talk about tonight in the second installment of this teaching, maintaining prophetic character. And the reality is there are some things you have to do, and one of those things were protecting your anointing, protecting your space. Tonight we're going to talk about just a few things that you have to do to maintain that prophetic character.
And I'm— well, not just a few, but I'm going to give them to you quickly tonight.
But at the rip, I want to give you a couple things off the top. But I do want to— glory to God— play something really quick, just a clip from Sunday Glory to God. And then we're going to dive into this because I talked about a little how the prophetic doesn't necessarily require a prophet.
Let's look at really quick what that's saying, and then I'm going to be back.
Okay, whenever you hear the word prophetic, it, it doesn't necessarily just deal with that that pertains to a prophet, but it deals with that that pertains to prophecy. Prophecy doesn't necessarily— watch this— require a prophet. Prophets merely say what they see God say. So if the prophet is speaking what God says, prophecy doesn't require a prophet. If I can tap into God—
y'all ain't gonna talk to me—
God can prophesy to and talk to me about destiny. You got people that line up for prophets, and I'm a prophet, I love to prophesy, it's one of my gifts, but the reality is I believe that prophecy and dreaming and visions are low levels of communication. I'll say that one more time: dreams, visions, prophecy, low-level communication.
Why?
Because God is real, and if you spend time with him, God ain't got to put you sleep and give you a dream to talk to you. I know, because dreamers think they're so deep and wonderful because I had a dream. Yeah, you ain't praying, that's why you're dreaming. You ain't spending time with God and your ear's not tuned to his voice. So if you got a dream for him to communicate, he can't get your attention while you're awake.
Alrighty, now, so that's so important to recognize that prophecy begins with God. Matter of fact, in Revelation, the Bible says Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy. So if I develop relationship with Jesus, the prophetic flow starts with him. And then when the prophet does prophesy and open his mouth, it literally should become a second witness, a confirmation to what God said to me when I went to God for myself. All right, y'all hear that? Again, I want you to grab this tonight because it's vitally important that we recognize that— and I want you to hear me, hear me good— that the prophetic anointing is not contingent upon somebody pointing you out and just prophesying to you. Really, that person should be confirming what you have already discovered in relationship with God. So tonight, guys, I want to give you a perspective on maintaining prophetic character through just a couple entities. So before we get into the meat of it, I want to lay a backdrop and give you two things that have to be the substratum of, or the foundation of, you maintaining prophetic character. Because I really sense in my spirit there are a lot of people that have a lot of prophetic words, prophecies they've gotten that's hanging over their life that they have not seen come to pass. Now I can be totally transparent with you tonight. Yeah, I'm, I'm a guy that, glory to God, have had a lot of prophecies. Uh, I've seen a lot of prophecies come to pass in my life that I've gotten, and I've seen some that's still hanging over my head, glory to God. Um, but the ones that I hold dear are the ones that are born out of— and this is what I'm about to talk to you about first— it is me understanding my prophetic profile. Say that with me: prophetic profile. Every person under the sound of my voice, whether you're watching me live or by replay, you have— listen to me, guys— a prophetic profile. You have a prophetic, not pathetic. You have a prophetic profile. And, uh, listen, That profile is so important, glory to God, to how things come to pass in your life.
You need to be clear about this.
So let's get— let me give you a working definition of prophetic profile. Again, not pathetic, prophetic, okay?
That—
and you want to dismiss the pathetic profile that's based in of false prophecy, false hope. Watch this, things that God didn't say. But your prophetic profile is the identity of an individual as revealed by prophetic revelation. Watch this, first from God, then confirmed by the prophet. Oh boy. So again, The totality of prophetic revelation for your life first is what God has revealed to you. What are you trying to do, Apostle Woods? I'm trying to not allow you to be lazy, okay, where you depend on the prophet for all of your direction. Do you realize the word says prophesying shall cease? So when prophesying ceases, my question to you is, what are you going to do? Your relationship has to be so tight that you don't have to get to the next prophetic conclave, the next propheticology, the next prophetic conference, the next prophetic thrust so you can get a word from God. You should be so connected to your Father that religion has been dismissed from your life. Hear me. And you actually can hear his voice. You actually know his voice. That's why the Bible said, my sheep know my voice, a stranger they won't follow. So your prophetic profile, again, is your identity as a believer, as a kingdom citizen, as revealed— hear this— through prophetic revelation, first from God then confirmed through the prophet. Glory to God. Now here's my take even on that. If I know for a fact God said it, if the prophet never comes and confirms it, I'm still good. But God places this in the totality of prophetic revelation in honor of his word because he says Let every word be established in the mouth of two or three witnesses. So God's mouth, the first witness, is the prophets. The second witness, bam, is established. But you gotta know God. This is the first key, and we're gonna get into some scripture tonight. But listen, ain't no need you running around trying to get a prophecy or word and you running off that and you don't know God for real. We got it backwards. Most people think they have not heard from God unless the prophet speaks, but God wants to speak to you out of revelation. So you got to maintain a good prophetic character through your profile. And what is— what does your profile include? It includes things like your, your numerous assets, your numerous abilities, and your numerous assignments. So your assets, your abilities and your assignments. Inside of the prophetic profile, there's your assets, there's your— are you hearing me? Your abilities and your assignments. So just like you got— some of you are more concerned about your Instagram profile, your Facebook profile, uh, your TikTok profile than you are your prophetic profile. Oh my God, oh my God. And most of the time people are using social media profiles of others to measure themselves, to create a profile of themselves. And that's the wrong measuring stick, because I need you to understand everything you see on the internet ain't real. And every person that's saying there's something online ain't what they say they are. And what you gotta do now is measure yourself by what God says your assets are, your abilities are, and your assignment is. That's your prophetic profile. Now watch this, every prophetic word you get should minister in confirmation to what God says your assets are, your abilities are, and your assignments are. Let me use myself as an example. Just take one asset, uh, in my prophetic profile. Uh, Michael Woods, you are a billionaire. This is from God. Then I get 4 of the prophecies from 4 prophets that don't know each other that prophesy the exact same thing. Now that's in the mouth of 2 or 3, let it be established. I believed it when God said it, but it became established in the earth realm when the prophets confirmed it, because they confirmed what was already in my prophetic profile. Hear me now. My abilities— you're an apostle in the Lord's church, you're an entrepreneur, glory to God. That's in my prophetic profile. I am a successful apostle, successful entrepreneur. That's in my prophetic profile. That has been confirmed by numerous prophets. Are y'all hearing this? My assignments, all of the things that I'm assigned to do as an apostle, as a prophet, as an evangelist, as a pastor, as a teacher, as an entrepreneur— these things are in my profile. Prophecy has to align with that. The moment it doesn't, we have to be— this is why you got to maintain prophetic character. Because if you're running behind every word, you'll get one word here, one word there, one word here, and they're different and they don't align with what God said. Now you got a problem. So you need to know God for yourself. Secondly, family, if we're going to maintain prophetic character so we can manifest prophetic destiny— remember, these two things are just my foundation to where I'm going— you gotta embrace not only your prophetic profile But you also got to embrace prophetic wisdom. Now, the process of building a house God's way— and when I'm speaking of house, I'm speaking of you and I.
Our bodies is the temple of God. We are the house of God.
He dwells in us.
We are his dwelling place. And through a life of sacrifice and worship and homage to him, we become his dwelling place. He takes up residence in us. He inhabits a life of praise.
He lives in us, right? So the process of building a house God's way, guys, it begins with having a proper perspective of the house's architecture. Architecture is design. Whenever you're building anything, or architect is designing something for you to build from the ground, you never build number one for the moment.
You always design with the future in mind.
Alright, you design a new building, a new house from the ground because you're building for the future. You look— you're not building for what's right in the moment, you build for the future. Same way with your life, your temple, your house.
Your life should be built with the future in mind.
See, God has infinite wisdom. He knows what's coming. He knows where you are, he knows where you're going, and he constructs things based on not where you are, based on where you're going. As a matter of fact, the fights that you're having with the enemy right now has nothing to do with where you are. The strain you're under, the challenge you're up against— oh boy, God, I'm thank—
I thank you for the strength to teach this tonight.
Listen, it's not about where you are, it's about where you're going. The attacks against your finances, the attacks in your health, the attacks in your relationship, the attacks in your church, the attacks in your business, the attacks in your family has nothing to do with where you are, but it has everything to do with where you're going. Glory to God. I need you to touch yourself and say, I'm going somewhere. Good God from Zion. Glory to God. Whether you're on YouTube, Instagram, or one of these 3 Facebook pages, touch yourself, type in the comments, say, I'm going somewhere. He knows where you are and he knows where you're going. And you got to build with him. You got to build with God, build with God, and with the idea that this is not where about where I am, it's about where I'm going. Stop freaking out, glory to God, about what you're facing right now. It's only the enemy trying to discourage you so you'll stand still and not flow with God. But I challenge you, don't you quit, don't you give up, keep going, because God is trying to build and expand your capacity with the future in mind. Now, now, the reality is many spiritual houses, spiritual lives, people who go to church, man, many, many, listen to me, many are constructed with only the present in mind. And it is, and this is because, listen they lack prophetic insight.
They lack prophetic wisdom.
How do I get prophetic wisdom?
Going back to what I said in the beginning, you got to have relationship with God, and you need to be in a prophetic culture.
See, when you're in a prophetic culture, now you're surrounded with prophetic people. Who are tuned into the realm of the spirit. Thank God for the prophetic culture at Rhoda Church. Thank God for prophetic people who have a sensibility to the things of the spirit. Glory to God. And that we can be open to receive prophetically from each other when we pick up on each other, because at the end of the day, it keeps us with wisdom and insight to what God has said. Because sometimes you need to be reminded of the wisdom God gave you. When you're in the midst of something, you need to be reminded of what God said so that you could keep going and not give up because it got hard.
Oh my God, oh my God. See, having a proper prophetic perspective that's born out of wisdom it creates— watch this— a doorway, a pathway, a road, a map for the generations to come to follow after these same ways of living.
It leaves wisdom in the earth. Listen, Psalm 121:1, and we're going to jump into this. It says, except the Lord build the house— build is orach in Hebrew, which means except the Lord design. Orach again is what we get words like architecture. So your life is built before you were ever born. So if you— he said, except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it. So if you're building something that God didn't prophetically speak over you, you're building it in vain. If you're operating in an assignment in assets and abilities that is not the abilities that God proclaimed over your life in Jeremiah 1:5, hear me, you're building something in vain. You're building something erroneous. Glory to God. So you got to develop your relationship with God. You got to mature. You got to grow up in him. So you can have access to his plans. Otherwise, you make all kind of mistakes. You go to the wrong schools, you marry the wrong people, you get the wrong friends, you move to the wrong cities. You, you do all of these wrong things because you have not seen the plans that God developed. But when you see them and you're in prophetic culture, God reinforces those plans through the prophets. Glory to God. So you need to embrace, glory to God, your prophetic profile and prophetic wisdom for these things I'm about to give you to even work.
Glory to God.
So let's jump into this, and I'm going to give you some scriptures tonight. We're going to run through them because, because there's a lot of information, but I want you to write this stuff down because I think it's going to be very helpful to you. Glory to God. So if we're going to maintain prophetic character And you know, I call these the 10 M's of maintaining prophetic character.
Glory to God.
Um, so the first one is— and I want you to write it down— is manhood. And when I say manhood, I'm talking about mankind, but this could be manhood or womanhood. I want you to go to Genesis 1:26.
Glory to God.
Genesis 1:26. Again, we're not going to tarry long in these.
Genesis 1:26, praise his name.
And 27, the Bible says, and God said, let us make man in our image and our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air and over the cattle and all the earth and every creeping thing upon the earth. Verse 27: So God created man in his own image. In the image of God created he him, male and female created he them. So if you want to maintain prophetic character, you got to first understand that you as a man, as a human man or woman, is most important to God than any gift you carry. You know why? Because this scripture simply says to us that God makes the human, the man or the woman, the man, woman, man with a womb, or the man before he manifests mighty ministry. Before he manifests mighty blessings, before any of that comes into your life, guess what he did? He created you. And I want you tonight to see that as a very special thing. He created you. Glory to God. He, he put you on the map first. And you, just like he loves you and celebrates you, you must begin to celebrate you. And the value you carry. I don't care what people have told you in the past, you're valuable. You have something you bring to the table. You're important, you're significant, you're unique, you're authentic, and the world needs you. The world needs what's inside of you. Oh my God, tonight. So you got to celebrate your manhood, your womanhood, your humanity, because God— hear me— makes the man first before manifesting.
Oh my God, mighty ministry, manifold blessing.
I got something else on that. Let's go to Romans 8. Romans 8. Hallelujah. Touch yourself. Say, I'm valuable. Say, I carry great value. Say, I'm necessary. Glory to God. Come on, say it out of your mouth. Say, I'm necessary. Romans 8:29. Glory to God. Hallelujah. The Bible says this: for whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn— oh my God— among many brothers. So we're Christ's brother. This should put something on your value. So this shows us too that mankind, apart from position, message, or ministry, or tangible blessing— hear me— humanity is God's priority. Watch this: for he foreknew you. That word foreknew is prorizo in Greek, or progenosko, which means before you Again, Jeremiah 1:5, God in your mama's belly, progenus quo, beforehand, before you had flesh and blood and arms and eyes, God knew you. And before you were born, he predestined you to be conformed to his image, to be like him. Before you was a prophet, before you'd be a billionaire, a millionaire, before your business is successful, before you will be married God foreknew you, and he established a prophetic destiny. Here we go. Oh boy, he established a prophetic destiny for your life. Now, if you're not walking that out again, it's because you started making decisions that were not in alignment with what he foreknew. Progenosco. So how do I tap into that? I gotta develop relationship. Take the pro— oh, genosco is knowledge that is gained through a process by relationship. How do I get to know God? I spend time with him. Some people just met God, they don't know him. They went to church, confessed their sins, They don't know him. I want to challenge you, it is possible to know him. This is why people get thrown out with error and they, they're tossed to and fro, because they don't spend enough time to know this man that already knows you. Matter of fact, the relationship is already intact now through the work of Jesus Christ reconciling us back to God. We just have to foster the relationship in worship, in prayer, in praise, in word, in faith.
Hear me, you're to be an imagery of him. Uh, that— I love it, I love it. Icon in Greek is where we get the word icon. So instead of us trying to be like popular icons we see on social media and duplicate figures and popular preachers and popular celebrities and, and try to duplicate what the masses are doing. Listen, you're already predestined to be like an icon who is Jesus, to operate in his resemblance, to be a representative of him. Yeah, watch this. For him to be the chief figure on your profile.
Hallelujah!
Glory to God! Yes, God, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, Jesus!
You're so mighty.
So you got to understand that your manhood is important, right? Let's go to Hebrews 2 real quick. I'm almost, I'm almost getting where I need to be. Hebrews 2. Glory to God. I'm gonna try to get through this tonight, y'all. Hebrews 2.
If not, we'll just keep doing these on Thursday because we're gonna do the other parts of the message on Sunday.
But Hebrews 2, uh, verse 6.
Hallelujah. The Bible says, but in a certain place testifies, saying, what is man that thou art mindful of him, or the son of man that thou visitest him? Drop down to verse 10. The Bible says, for it became him for whom all things are all things, and by whom all things, and bringing sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
This is such a powerful statement because you know what it says, that God evaluates the person and the value that he placed on them and not their performance. Because again, all of this stuff he did in advance— oh my God, all of these things he did in advance. You have the personality of God through his sufferings. His personality is in you. That's your prophetic destiny.
That's why you got to protect your oil.
You got to protect your space because you don't want to ruin Glory to God, the value and the investment that God has made in you. Glory to God. Yeah, I hear you, Father. I hear you, I hear you, I hear you. Glory to God, I hear you. Glory to God, I hear you.
Listen, go to—
yeah, go to 1 Timothy 2:5. I hear you, God. I'm trying to get through, I'm trying to get through. Jesus, I hear you. Glory to God.
Some of you watching me tonight, I want your stock to go up.
I want your value to increase. Your capacity to expand even while I'm teaching, because you've been beating yourself up. You've been thinking less of yourself than you should, but you need now to expand your horizon, know just how valuable you are in Christ.
Watch this.
The Bible says that there is one God— this is powerful, man— and one mediator between God and man. The man Christ Jesus. So watch this, Jesus shows us the value of manhood and ministry just in this statement.
One God, one mediator between God and man.
Meaning it means he's our example, right?
So if you look at Jesus's manhood, he had 30 years of manhood—
watch this— and 3 years of ministry. Powerful stuff.
He, he, he, he celebrated manhood on earth, became a man, matured as a man. Glory to God.
Served as a man and 3 solid years of ministry and did more than any ministry ever will do that comes through this earth.
All we do is build on his foundation.
Glory to God, to expand in a greater work. But I'm telling you, he accomplished and finished his course.
He— most people don't ever finish their purpose.
Glory to God, he did it in 3 years. Listen, this is powerful. That's a 10 to 1 ratio. Glory to God.
I'll say that again, that's a 10 to 1 ratio.
30 years Glory to God. 3 years of men, 30 years manhood, 3 years ratio, 30 to 1. The 3 is the 10%, the 1 of the 30. The reality is, guys, we got to put emphasis on our manhood, put value there. What am I saying just with that one point? You are important.
You can't be running after all these prophetic things over your life and you're not taking care of you.
You don't understand your value.
Glory to God. All right, number 2, let's move, let's move.
Number 2 is ministry. Glory to God.
So you got to maintain prophetic character in ministry.
Now whether you have a fivefold ministry call or you have a general kaleo call, which is an outcall to everyone for ministry, because we're all called to serve.
The word ministry simply means to serve. So in order to maintain prophetic character, you got to serve in ministry correctly. All right, so, so let's look at 2 Corinthians 6:3. 2 Corinthians 6:3.
Stay with me, I'm almost done.
I got 13 minutes.
Glory to God. I'm gonna try to get through these. 2 Corinthians 6:3. I don't know if it's gonna happen.
The Bible said, giving no offense in anything, that the ministry be not blamed. And to prove to you again, diakonia is ministering Greek in this text, and, and it simply means service, uh, especially those who execute the commands of another. So we serve God, we execute his command on the road to prophetic destiny. So here's the first point about this: we got to maintain a prophetic character in ministry so that we can see a manifestation of prophecy in our life by not giving offense in anything. So if your ministry, uh, which is, uh, proskope, uh, offense, which means to— an occasion to cause others to stumble. So we have to be very careful when we start saying that we're kingdom citizens, that we do not cause others to stumble by how we handle business, by how we live, by how we behave. We have to live a life that reflects who we say we are. I, I got a post I'm going to post.
I've been working on designing it, uh, like I said, I've been fighting through this flu, but I, I'm gonna put it up. But I'm gonna tell you about it, and it's simply—
it's a report card, a kingdom report card, and it shows where the body of Christ has made an A+ in grace.
Watch this, but in prayer, an F. In character, a F. In sin, a F. So in—
oh my God—
in worship, an F. In obedience to Christ, an F.
Because what we think— listen to this— is that we can play the grace— we can sin, be disobedient, play the grace card, and we're still going to pass. The reality is God says, what shall we say then? Romans 6. Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? The Bible says no, God forbid. So you can't just keep playing the grace card, glory to God, and failing at all these other areas— pride and sin, those things that separate you from God, selfishness— and you keep trying to play. Because true repentance, watch this, metanoia in Greek, which means to return, re-pent, penthouse, to the top. It means literally to go back to the top and never return to the bottom. It's a change of mind, heart, and behavior. So when you truly repent, you actually stop doing it. So you can't tell me you're repenting of being a homosexual and you live in the lifestyle of a homosexual and practicing homosexuality every day, or practicing lesbianism every day. Oh my God, or you call yourself married to someone of the same sex, or you're a whoremonger. I'm not just picking on the gays. Sin is sin. True repentance says you stop. We don't get to continue to play the grace card because now we're crucifying Christ afresh, and we, we can't do that. Hallelujah. And we're returning back to the pediatrics, the elementary things of the gospel, when God wants to expand us into deeper things. But he can't do it and manifest prophetic destiny when we're causing offense through sin and we're not aligning with his plan. And that right there is why I ain't popular. But it's okay because I'm going to tell the truth. Glory to God. At the end of the day, sin brings about shame. Sin brings separation. Grace was not given to just empower you to continue to sin. It was given to empower you toward righteousness. It was given as a free gift so that you could operate in the things of God. Oh boy. So you got to maintain character so your prophecy can come to pass. Maybe the reason the prophecy in your life ain't coming to pass because you ain't sinning. I want you to let that marinate for a minute. Glory to God. And you know, and I know we always— well, we all struggle, we all make mistakes. Guess what the Bible says? If you sin not when you keep sinning. If you sin, you have an advocate with the Father. So while you're trying to do what's right and mortifying the members of your flesh, if you happen to stumble, you got an advocate. But you don't wake up to practice sin. You don't wake up to live like the devil. Come on, somebody! You have to decide, if I want to see the prophetic destiny, I got to maintain the character that I can be trusted to represent God with this level of blessing. Because you know what? New levels of increase physically, financially, all it's going to do is magnify your sin issue. Because now you got more resources to sin with. So you got to make sure you're not giving offense. Here's the next one. Let me, let me move. Uh, go to Matthew 7:15. Oh boy, I don't know if I'm gonna make it, y'all. I'm gonna try. Matthew 7:15. I hope y'all learning something. Glory to God. If you're getting something out of this, just type some fire in the comments. Glory to God. Matthew 7:15, watch this, it says, beware of false prophets. Listen to this, beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening— Lord have mercy— wolves. Good God from Zion. Verse 16, you shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? My God, even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. So here we go. In ministry, the scripture is saying whatever we're doing, you're gonna be known By your fruit. So in order for prophetic destiny to manifest out of your life, you gotta bring forth good true fruit. How do you bring up good fruit?
You got to be a good tree.
If the tree is corrupt, hallelujah, it can't bring forth good fruit. That's verse 18. I didn't read it, but we can keep going through 21 and find What I'm saying here, you can't bring forth good fruit if you corrupt on the inside. You cannot bring forth—
Lord, I love you, I love you for this, Jesus—
you cannot bring forth corrupt fruit if you're good on the inside. So you got to work on the inside and develop character and maintain good character so you can bring forth your prophetic destiny.
Are y'all hearing me?
I need, I need you to understand this. And again, a lot of times many of you are stuck because character flaws. And I'm telling you right now, man, God has so much for all of us, and he wants to see that prophetic destiny manifested, but we got to deal with those corrupt things, those broken things in us. And, and sometimes the stuff that's broken us— I just want to be honest with you— it's not necessarily our fault. Some things people did to us and we were totally innocent, and we carried that pain, we carried that trauma, we carried that bitterness, and now it becomes a blockage to the prophetic thing that God has oh my God promised over our life coming forth because we won't allow ourselves to be healed and let it go. But I'm telling you tonight, ladies and gentlemen, let it go. Glory to God. So you can manifest the promise over your life so that the struggle can be taken out of the process and you can actually have sweatless victory. Lord have mercy tonight. Glory to God.
Lord have mercy.
God bless you, Harry.
Good to see you, man.
Glory to God.
Good to see you, sir. Good to see you, man of God. Good to see you.
Glory to God. Listen, so you gotta be maintained in your character through manhood or mankind. Yeah, you understand your value through ministry. Thirdly, and I think this is going to be the last one, guys, we have to pick this up next Thursday. Because we're gonna get into the other part of this message Sunday. Glory to God. You have to be consistent in how you release the message. Oh boy, how you obey the message and how you release the message. Let's go to— glory to God—
yeah, let's go to Ephesians 4:14. Yeah, Ephesians 4:14.
I'm—
thank you for being here tonight, family. I love y'all.
I pressed through to get on and talk to y'all tonight.
Glory to God. Hallelujah. Ephesians 4:15.
Watch this. The Bible says, but speaking the truth in love, you may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ. All right. Verse 16 says, from whom the whole body— listen to this— fitly joined together, studazo in Greek, and compacted by what every joint supplyeth. So every one of us is important. Every one of us. There's no, oh, bigger rank or higher person. I hear people talk about rank all the time. At the end of the day, the reality is you, you have an office, I have an office. We all have a function. Every part of us is important to the movement and advancement of the body.
The re—
while I may hold a different position than someone else, and someone else may hold a different position than me, um, we are all important. My foot is just as important as my hands. My eyes are just as important on my natural body as my ears. So God in the body of Christ, we all are necessary. Just touch your belly, say I'm necessary. So it says every joint supplies according to effectual working in the measure of every part and making increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
I love Jesus, man.
He's so good. So here's the first thing, here's the first thing about ministry. If we're going to maintain the right prophetic character in ministry. Listen to this, we got to speak the truth in love. We just read in Ephesians 4:15, you know, the prophets don't get a right, and apostles— glory to the name of God— to be nasty, to be mean-spirited because you have a title. Pastors don't get an opportunity to be rude because you're standing up in the pulpit. Most of the time, preachers that do that, they're suffering internally from something they're dealing with, and they— and unfortunately, somebody gave them a mic and they're taking out how they feel on other people. And the reality is, everything we do in the body of Christ has to be done in love. You see, I just talked about sin and love in the, in the last point. We have to speak the truth, but we got to do it in love. And that's present-day truth, hear me? And that's life-giving truth. So present-day truth is, is the truth of the word for this hour. And life-giving truth is the, the, the raw word of God that gives life. For in the scriptures we find life. But we gotta say this stuff in love. We do not have a license to beat people up. The Bible says, with loving kindness have I drawn thee. Now, why would God trust you with the manifestation of prophetic destiny on your life if you can't be faithful with what he's trusted you with as a little?
Hear me good, guys.
Hear me good. You, you got to be faithful over what he's entrusted you with and presented in love. That's how he presents it. This whole thing is about love. You're saved because of love, so we got to do it in love. Secondly, I want you to go real quick to 1 Timothy 4:2. Almost done, family. This is my last one.
We're gonna pick these up next week.
Oh boy, I love you, Jesus.
1 Timothy 4:2, it says, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron. Oh my God, oh my God. This is simply saying to us that as ministering saints what we say and do, it has to be balanced, it has to be scriptural, it has to be doctrinally sound and spiritually right. In other words, we can't get in this book and start making up stuff because the Bible says here that's a lie, that's hypocrisy, and people that do that have their conscience seared with a hot iron.
You know what that means? That means they have entered into compromise most of the time to appease themselves.
Someone, one of my sons, sent me a text of a post a pastor put up this morning. Um, he scrolls way much more than I do, uh, and so he, he tries to keep me up sometime on what people are saying. So So he sent me this post, and the post basically was saying that, uh, we're religious and we believe sin is what causes us to go to hell. His take was what causes you to go to hell, and he's preaching this, is unbelief.
But the Bible clearly says in Revelation 21, it lists a whole bunch of sins including fear and unbelief. All of these sins, that's on the list— fear and unbelief.
But also it names several sins that will get you cast in the lake of fire.
Most of the time when people are trying to get away from the act of sin and not talk about it, it's because they want to continue to do what they're doing and they're looking away to justify it.
The conscience has been seared, and, and they are compromising.
But I want to challenge you, man, if you want to see your prophetic destiny manifested, you cannot compromise. The Bible said we cannot take away one jot nor tittle from the word of God.
Hear me, we got to maintain integral values when it comes to the integrity of the scripture.
We have to do it spiritually. It has to be sound. And listen, it has to be—
watch this—
revelatory. Because in this hour, we cannot teach a dead, crusty gospel. We gotta dig and let the Spirit give us revelation and make sure it's based on a sound word foundation, people. All right, okay, one more, one more, one more, one more.
Go to Mark 16:20, and I'm out of here tonight.
I'm over my time.
Mark 16:20.
Thank y'all for hanging in here, those of you that stayed.
Glory to God. Mark 16:20.
Stay with me, you don't want to miss the end.
Stay with me. Mark 16:20. Oh boy, this is good stuff.
The Bible says, and they went forth and preached—
listen to this— everywhere, the Lord working with them. I love this. And confirming the word with signs following. So watch this, this text. If you, again, if you want to see prophetic destiny manifested, you got to maintain the prophetic character of the message and the ministry you carry. Watch this. This text in Mark 16:20 says simply that God confirms his word with signs following. It didn't say he confirms the person, he confirms their pride or their reputation. God never uses you to confirm you.
Ah, ah, I feel like running out of here. Glory to God. But God can trust you with high levels of prophetic destiny. Trust me, I know this. When you Don't make ministry about you, but you make it about those you call to serve.
The places you go are never about you, they are about the people you're called to serve.
Glory to God. If you get an invitation to go somewhere, if you watch this, if you're ministering in a grocery store, you meet somebody on the street and God uses you to see them healed, to see them delivered, he uses you to prophesy to them, to bring them to Christ. It's never to confirm you.
It's always to confirm the truth of his word.
And listen, I'm inclined to believe, guys, when we make this thing about God— glory to God— and we make it about his work, the rest of the stuff will just show up and we won't even be looking for it.
So we got to maintain our prophetic character. Hallelujah.
Through— glory to God—
our manhood, our being human, our mankind, through ministry and through message. We got 6 more of these. Really, we got 7 more of these we got to cover, and we're going to cover these on the Thursdays because we're going to get into the heart of the message on Manifesting Prophetic Destiny on Sundays.
When I'm done, I want to pray for you.
Please don't leave, guys.
Stay with me.
I want to pray with you tonight. I want to pray, uh, that you will tap into your prophetic profile, that you will get clarity concerning your prophetic profile that God has over your life, man. I want you to be able to know clearly what God is speaking about you. All right, secondly, family, I want to pray for prophetic wisdom, that you will see the design and the plans and you will build with God and your decisions will be aligned with the destiny that God has planned. Let's pray together tonight, can we? Father, I give you praise. And I give you glory. I thank you for those that have joined us live tonight. Thank you for opportunity to teach your word. Thank you for what you're doing. Thank you that what's to come is better than what has been. And thank you, God, that no weapon formed against us can prosper. I thank you for prophetic destiny. And Father, tonight, in the name of Jesus, I decree and declare that you are releasing prophetic destiny in the life of your people. And Father, I declare tonight in the name of Jesus that one, you will tap them into their prophetic profile, their assets, their abilities, and their assignments from you. And I pray, God, that you will place them in prophetic cultures where those assets, those abilities, and those assignments will be confirmed in the name of Jesus.
And secondly, God, I pray for prophetic wisdom so that we don't build amiss, we don't build in vain. But God, we want to build what you've already designed, what you proginosko, what you knew before we got here. And so, Father, we thank you that we're saved and we're sanctified to build on your behalf, God.
And we give you praise and glory for it now. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen, and thanks be to God.
Listen, guys, I praise God for you tonight. Listen, stay with me. I really need to invite you tonight to be a blessing to ministry, to sow seed. Hallelujah.
Um, as you know, we just moved in our new facility, and, uh, I don't often ask you ask you guys for anything. And whenever I do ask, glory to God, I'm— there's never any pressure, and there is none tonight. But I want to share with you, um, first of all, if you make something happen for someone else, God will make it happen for you. Uh, when we were moving into this facility, I told you we wanted to do everything absolutely debt-free. I think we initially needed like $35,000. We needed it. God broke that thing down. I had a recent road trip to Mississippi. I raised about $6,100 while I was on the road. I brought it all home, put it into the church, and, um, still we were not exactly where we needed to be. Uh, honestly, we were still like $4,000 away, and we need your help tonight. We have some things we need to get done by tomorrow. And listen, I'm going to put the ways to give up on the screen, and I want you to give tonight. I don't— I, you know, this is, you know, I, I know, you know, people just, you know, they, they do what they do, but I want you guys to be a blessing to ministry tonight. The ways to give should be on the screen now, and I want you tonight to go use our Zelle Use our Cash App, uh, use our PayPal and get your seed in the ground. I need your help, guys. I need your assistance, um, so that we can make sure that we clear every ounce of debt as God promised he would allow us, and that we're able to sweatlessly begin to move forward in this new facility. God has blessed us with a wonderful church. We love our facility, and we want you to sow into it, man. We want you to be a blessing. So the ways to give are there. I'm gonna give you a moment to get your seed together, get it in the ground. You know, the Bible says that Isaac sowed in famine and and he reaped 100-fold the same year. And I just believe every person that's sowing into this project, into this season, in this season, that's making sacrifices, I believe this same year, before 2024 would end— I think we got like 47 days left before 2024 would end, I'm believing God that you'll reap 100-fold. That's 10,000% or 1,000 times more than your seed. And as you're giving tonight, I'm going to pray for that. I'm going to pray that you would reap 1,000 times more. Glory to God. Hallelujah. In this season, before this year would expire. So Father, as your people are moving in obedience tonight, they're trusting you, they're partnering with us to meet the need you know we have on tomorrow. I'm asking you, God, to multiply their seed sown 100-fold like Isaac in this season, that before 2024 would end, God, that they will see a hundredfold return on their seed. I thank you that you will continue to prosper our church, and we won't ever lack a thing. And the things you called us to do in adopting schools, God, in our community, adopting businesses in our community, God, the things you called us to do in outreach, God, to help those who are around us, that we'll be able to do it sweatlessly. And we give you praise and we give you glory in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. So wherever you're watching tonight, glory to God, uh, get your seed in the ground. Glory to God.
Hallelujah.
Get your seed in the ground. Praise his name. He's so good. He's so kind. The ways to give again are on the screen. I'm believing God. God bless your people as they are sowing tonight, as they are aligning themselves with the vision of Rodder Church. And you know, I was— had a meeting with my leaders last night and we revisited our mission. I— and just, you know, just getting clarity and alignment about why we exist. Rodder Church exists to be a catalytic resource agent to help humans discover— glory to God— develop and deploy their kingdom dominion purpose. We want to teach them how to go from being followers to agents of dominion, and through that process of discovery, development, and deployment. We're teaching people how to get that done. And when you sow, you're helping us through every effort, through every class, through every service, through every meeting we have with the community, every entrepreneur we impact.
Because we're not just apostolic in ministry, we're also apostolic in the marketplace. We're also apostolic, glory to God, in the municipal municipality.
So every even government official and politician, we have power that's Holy Ghost-filled. Every lobbyist that will be able to send to Washington to lobby for biblical rights— every time you sow, you're helping these efforts.
So tonight, God, bless your people.
Bless your people as they're giving. Bless your people as they're supporting.
I, I believe that there are millionaires under the sound of my voice. I believe that there are entrepreneurs that will have good success, and I believe these seeds that they're getting in the ground now is a part of that success.
And I give you praise for it, God, in Jesus' mighty name. I give you praise for it, God, in Jesus' mighty name. Glory to God. We bless you, we honor you, we exalt you, we lift you up. Glory to God. He's a good God. Listen, thank everyone tonight for your giving. I thank you for listening. Again, we appreciate your support, and I believe that the blessing of the Lord that makes rich and adds no sorrow is going to overtake you, and indeed you will have that hundredfold return in this season. As you're sowing, as you're giving tonight. I love all of you. Y'all are such amazing people. Glory to God, you're so great. Uh, Pastor Jasper has put the Cash App on the screen. Glory to God. If you want to use Cash App, um, glory to God, we do have Zelle, info@rodderchurch.com, and all the other ways that were up. Listen, you guys are wonderful. Listen, I want to challenge you plan your visit to our church now. Uh, we'll be at Rhoda Church if you're in the Atlanta area, or if you're visiting Atlanta. You cannot come to Atlanta and go to Six Flags, the Fox, Stone Mountain, all the other great stuff we got here, and not visit Rhoda Church. Listen, the easiest way to plan your visit, glory to God, is to simply go to our website, praise God and contact us and say, hey, I'm interested in visiting, and we're going to send you information you need, uh, to get to our church. The address is there. We worship every Sunday morning at 9 AM because we believe leaders rise early. So come spend some time with us. I promise you, you will be blessed by what God is calling us to do.
I love you guys so much.
Y'all be blessed tonight. Heaven smile upon you is my prayer. Listen, get your seed in the ground, and remember, share this word with a friend. And your decisions will always usher you into God's destiny. God bless you.
