And Father, do something man cannot do. Saturate the walls of this place. Charge the atmosphere, God. And let your Shekinah glory be revealed. Cast the devil out of the mind. Break down every stubborn will. We say yes, Lord. Yes to your will. Ha! Yes to your way, God. Yes to your plans. What you have for us, we We say yes! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! You're coming in tonight joining us, I want you to lift your hands right where you are and begin to give glory to the King. He's our God. He's our King, He's our Master, He's everything. Without Him, we are nothing. He's the glory and the lifter of our heads. He's the crown jewel of heaven. He's the lily of the valley, the bright morning star. Thank you for your favor, God. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for empowering us to move in wealth, to move in prosperity. Thank you for the provisions you have made, God. We give you glory, God, that we don't live in lack, we don't live in fear. We declare, God, that we have plenty of money to give away all the time. That all of our needs are met and we have the desires of our heart. God, we're blessed in the city, we're blessed in the field, we're blessed when we come, we're blessed when we go home. We are your children, God, and we give you praise and we give you glory. Ah, Lord, we thank you. That we live under the realm of supernatural supply, that we live in the realm of super abundance. Come on, you ought to lift your hands and give God glory tonight. You live in the realm of supernatural supply, supernatural abundance, something that's above, beyond your ability, your intelligence, your aptitude. And God, we thank you, God, that you're opening up the sky vaults and you're pouring out blessing that we don't have room enough to receive it. I'm praying for children tonight, our children in our families. I command every generational curse in the families of those listening, in the families of those of us present— to be broken. I decree our children will be kingdom citizens. They will live according to the tenets of the word. I declare that they have sweet personalities. They are not bound by the works of the flesh. But I decree that for our families, for our children, the fruit of the Spirit— uta, brika, su, abande, nebesu— is at work in their life, which is love, joy, peace, faith, long-suffering, goodness, meekness, temperance. Oh my God, I decree and declare that the fruit of the Spirit is made manifest and the The works of the flesh have been defeated in the lives of our children, and they have chosen to follow you willingly, God. I declare that you've set aside a saved, sanctified, Holy Ghost-filled spouse for each one of our children. I declare they will live in joy. They will live in happiness. I thank you that coronavirus, or no sickness, no disease, can come upon them. That your blood covers them. They are healed by your stripes. In the name of Jesus, I plead the blood, Lord. Against every person that has been— oh my God— diagnosed with cancer in our families. I decree and declare now that healing is happening as I pray. I decree that cancer has to dry up now in the name of Jesus. I plead the blood against cancer. I plead the blood against COVID-19. I plead the blood tonight against diabetes and high blood pressure. And I decree and declare, with your stripes, Lord, we are healed. Come on, just worship him.
Don't you dare get tired.
Don't you dare scroll past this. In this house, we give God glory, we give him honor, we lift him up. Hallelujah!
He's worthy.
He's the King of Kings. He's the Lord of Lords. He's our helper. He's our strength. He's our King. He's our God.
We renounce every hidden thing that's not like you, God.
Your word declares whatsoever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven.
We bind up sickness and disease, so it's bound in heaven.
We bind up sinful behavior and sinful thoughts, sinful habits, so it's bound in heaven. Father, we bind up poverty, we bind up negativity, and Father, we declare tonight that whatever we need has already been provided. You said whatever we loose on earth, you will loose it in heaven. So Father, we loose power in our lives, we loose joy in our lives, we loose peace in our lives, we loose grace in our lives, we loose favor in our lives. God, we thank you that the gifts of the Spirit are alive and manifest in us, and we yield ourselves, Father, for you to use us and get the glory out of our lives in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, I pray for every entrepreneur under the sound of my voice. Father, bless and prosper their business. I loose clients, I loose customers, I loose increase. Glory to God in the name of Jesus as they go forth to build for you, to your glory, in the name of Jesus. I decree and declare that wherever we put our feet, it prospers. Every piece of property we place our feet on, it is ours. I thank you, God, for what you're about to do. I decree and declare, God, that the housing that we desire, you've already provided it. God, thank you for the house you've given us, God, but you've given us the command to sow that house as a seed. So dear God, we're going to sow that debt-free house as a seed into the life of the individuals you told us to give it to. And Father, as we plant that seed, we thank you that you're going to give us the $1.3 million house that you claimed you would give us. We receive it, God. Nothing's too hard for you. And as we obey God We thank you that the heavens will open, and it will not be for our glory, but it will be for your glory. For you're going to bless us with that compound and that property so we can do ministry in it, God. And we give you praise for all the leaders and all the couples that will bring joy home, that will minister to on that compound, God. We thank you, God, for all the lives that will be changed on that compound. We glorify you for it now in the name of Jesus. And we thank you that you're giving us all the ministry facilities we need for our church as you're adding to the church daily, such as would be saved.
God, thank you, God.
And I decree and declare that this house is becoming 5,000 human strong to move forth in the region called Georgia. To expand apostolic dominion in every region you're sending us to. God, thank you for it now. And thank you that we have the buildings and the facilities that we need to house the vision you called us to. And we give you glory for it, and we honor your name, God. Hallelujah! In the mighty name of Jesus. We thank you that what's to come is better than what has been. Now, Lord, as we open up your word tonight, I decree and declare that your anointing would rest heavy on me. Sit Michael Woods down and let the Holy Spirit stand up in me tonight.
Let your anointing go out in this word that will liberate and set the captive free. Every person in the building, every person out of the building, every person that will listen to the podcast or watch the replay, I declare that their life will never be the same because of your word, Lord. And we bless you for it now, in Jesus' name.
Amen.
And thank God. Well, hallelujah and glory be to God. I'm so grateful, praise God, that God is here with us tonight.
Hallelujah!
I feel the presence of the Lord, praise God.
And, um, I'm going to teach the word.
I'm going to share with you tonight what thus saith the Lord. Listen, I want to challenge you right now, uh, if you're here watching us live on Facebook, please go to the Raleigh Church Facebook page and share this live stream with someone. I'm going to do that right now. Glory to God! Before I start teaching, check in and share this video. Glory to God! I'm telling you, God's got something to say to us, and, uh, if we will allow him, he indeed will say it. Praise God!
Hallelujah!
What a mighty God we serve! Those of you watching us now, thank you for being here, and, uh, I want you to hear this word tonight. It's going to be powerful. Glory to God. I'm going to go back to something I started teaching. I taught it one time on the Apostle's Table last week concerning discord. And so I want you to stay with me. Glory to God.
Hallelujah.
We, we're going to teach this and share it with you just like the Lord gave it to us. Glory to God.
Hallelujah.
Wonderful Savior. So please, by all means, share this. This word is going to be life-changing and phenomenal on tonight. Again, I began talking about discord danger last week, and I shared with you a few dangers of sowing discord. We read the text in Proverbs 6, uh, and we talked about how God hates sowers of discord. And I shared how, first of all, discord and accord are direct opposites.
Um, matter of fact, accord and discord are inept to each other. They can't even stay in the same room, all right? They can't even be in the same place.
They are actually inept to each other.
So either you are moving in discord or accord. And there's some areas— and God brought—
I wanted to talk about the election they elected again tonight, but God just took me through to this today, and I said, hey, you're the boss, I'm gonna obey.
Praise God. So hallelujah. Yeah, I had to obey him. And so this is, this is necessary because a lot of times we think a person that's sowing discord is just sowing it, uh, to bring division among a group of people. But you can actually be sowing discord toward yourself, between you and God. That causes a separation between you and him, and that's a dangerous place. Do you realize that sin is an act of discord? The Bible says sin separates you from God. Oh my God, S-I-N. I want you to remember that. Sin, harmisia in Greek, it means to miss the mark. And the scripture says in Isaiah, because of your sin, we are separated from God. That's why it's so important to live under an open heaven, to live under open grace, and to constantly be in a state of repentance. Because even if you think something that's wrong, at the moment sin enters, it is a space of division.
And we never want that because there is no sin in God.
Now here's another thing that sows discord. It's pride. It's a pride and arrogance is an act of discord because it separates you from others and God. The Bible said he despises a prideful look and a haughty spirit. Matter of fact, watch this. P-R-I-D-E. Notice how the middle letter of sin and pride is I, because it's a personal act that you perform, a personal act that you do. Bible said pride cometh before a fall. Satan got separated from God because his pride. So sin and pride are acts of discord. I want us to grab that tonight because discord is dangerous, because it unplugs you, it disconnects you from the King. And I don't know about you, but I can't afford at any time in my life to be disconnected from God. I need the Lord in every single thing I do. I dare somebody to type on the screen right now, I need the Lord. Gloria, I need the Lord in every single thing I do. If you listen to the podcast, I want you to say that out loud. Say, I need God in every single thing I do. You need him in everything. You watch this.
God is always invested in you 100%.
God always down with you. The problem is we never come up to the part of the covenant we need to, really, when we need to, and we miss the blessing that God wants to pour out. This is why many times people walk in frustration They walk in lack. Yeah, they don't live the life that God has for them because they move in such a high level of pride.
So let's get into this.
So again, pride, arrogance, which leads to aloneness, leads you by yourself. So we understand that premise. We know that humility is a piece because— watch this, and this is where I'm going with this because I'm gonna be in this a minute.
I already know I gotta stay right here because I felt something in my spirit today where I felt people unplugging from God mainly because they've been disconnected from corporate worship.
I'm gonna tell you for real, at the end of the day, this whole thing is a trick of the enemy.
I don't care what nobody says, to bring division.
It's a sowing of discord.
I know y'all—
well, Corona, COVID-19. I, I was telling somebody today, I was talking to someone on the phone, I said, I'm on the way to church, and I'm going to church every time the door is open. Because I can't preach something if I don't believe it. I can't preach about a God that heals, a God that protects, a God that covers, a God whose blood really works, and not believe he gonna protect me when I go to church. If I can't go to church, where can I go? Oh my God. The church ought to be the most sacred, holy, pure, powerful place on earth. We can go to Walmart, we can go— oh my God— liquor stores, movies now open, bowling open, amusement parks open, beaches open, but y'all can sit up and complain about coming in the house of God. It's discord.
God says, I hate it, I hate it. Okay, so tonight's subject is I think I'm right, but I might be wrong.
I think I'm right, but I might be Wrong. See, there's a whole lot of people that think they're right because they've been listening to social media, they've been listening to Fox News, they've been listening to CNN, and they think they are right.
I'm telling you something, you ain't right.
You, you possibly wrong. But sure, it's pride and arrogance to go against what God says. So the first point I want to bring out is how important humility is to defeat the spirit that is caused by discord, which is strife. You can't get nothing from God, from heaven, when there's confusion and strife, tension and anger, frustration. Watch this— depression.
Key—
first key is you got to humble yourself. And I want to give you the scriptures just like God get it. Just touch yourself. I said y'all might not do it, but just say it: I think I'm right, but I might be wrong. It takes humility to even say that because most people believe what they think is right is right. But I'm gonna tell you something, our only guidance that we should be following is the word of God. The only book that we should be locked into and doing what it says is the word of the living God. Oh, Shemaiah! Go to Proverbs 13:10.
Come on, let's go. We're gonna go through the text tonight.
Proverbs 13:10 says, by insolence comes nothing but strife, but those who take advice Gain wisdom. That's the English Standard Version of that verse. It's just deals with the idea of ignorance, ignorance, ignoramus, refusing to receive truth, refusing to listen to what God says. It brings strife in your life and it causes you to be disconnected from God's plans and God's will. Come on, somebody. God doesn't want you crazy. He doesn't want you ignorant. You, you got to listen to what he says and go to the word. Let's go to James 3:17.
Glory to God.
He said, but the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. Wait a minute, so whatever God tells you, first of all, is filled with purity. That's James 3:17.
It's filled with peace.
Watch this, the word peace there is from the Greek word sophia, which means it's filled with, it's filled with skill.
Oh my God, it's filled with—
oh Jesus, it, it— matter of fact, peaceable and wisdom in James 3 is interchangeable. It's a skill set that comes from heaven. It's peaceable, it's gentle, it's open to reason. Listen to me, it's impartial and it is sincere, which means it— watch this—
it has your best interest at heart.
Are you hearing what I'm saying?
Oh my God.
Romans 12:16, let's go there. Go quickly. Romans 12:16, it says, live in harmony with one another. Do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in your own eyes.
Okay, so most people view it as wisdom to disconnect from the house of God and not come into the church because of what the media said. They view it as safety.
But the reality is everything else that was labeled essential essential.
People embrace that, they go to it, they participate in it.
I'm gonna tell you something, the house of God is essential.
Donald Trump, one of the first person to say that. I was saying that way before he said it.
It's the truth.
The church is essential, period, because God lives here. Now, if you're religious and you're a devotional Christian, what I'm saying tonight means nothing to you.
It means absolutely nothing. It's gonna go in one ear, go out the other, and you're gonna keep watching church in your pajamas because you don't understand that church really is essential. Church really is necessary. And we need to be not only harmonious with each other We need to be harmonious with God and not be so proud to do things the way we want to do them. You think you're right, but you could be wrong, because the Bible said, forsake not— Hebrews 10:13— forsake not the assembly of yourself together. You think you're right, and on a lot of issues we think we're correct, but it takes humility to yield to what the Bible says and obey it.
And not follow your own agenda.
People think they're right about tithing, they think they're right about giving, they think they're right about serving, they think they're right about evangelism, and they have their own religious reasoning that keeps them in a box.
Oh boy, don't be wise in your own sight.
Let's keep moving. 1 Samuel 15:17. 1 Samuel 15:17. The Bible says that Samuel said, oh boy, when you were little in your own sight— oh boy, boy, I could teach on this one all night, I just ain't got time— when you were little in your own sight, watch this, Samuel That's when the Lord made you head of the tribes of Israel, and the Lord anointed you king over Israel. So the Lord said, when you were little in your own eyes, Samuel, that's when the Lord promoted you. That's when the Lord anointed you. The anointing comes in humility. Promotion comes through humility. Humbleness is the way. That's why the Bible said don't think more highly of yourself than you ought to. You got people walking around here saying there are things that they are not. You know what, I am fed up to here. I've been fed up. Did you hear me? I've been walking fit up to here for a long time about all the apostles and all these prophets that are not apostolic nowhere. I got more apostolic in my little pinky toe than they got in their whole spiritual life. And that's a shame because you should be able to look at the fruit of your life and really be clear you're not an apostle. And you try to validate that because you put the title on it. Can I tell you something? Titles don't make you an apostle. Title don't make you a prophet. The anointing makes you an apostle. You have to be anointed for that office, and you have to be anointed by God. And he does that when you're little in your own sight. I can give this back, I would. Glory to God. But I can't. I have to be obedient to it. And I'm telling— and this is what I'm doing right now. This is government. This is order. You may not like it, but you put something on yourself that you're really not. I had somebody, uh, yeah, a lot of people I've met in my past. You know, Facebook is interesting because I cannot figure out a way to get people to stop messaging me because there's some people I don't want to receive a message from. I'm just telling you right now, I don't want to receive a message from them. Some people out of my past I don't want to talk to. Because the Bible said, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching to the things which are ahead. And it seems like every single day they feel the option to send me an inbox. I don't ever answer. They ought to get the drip. I don't say nothing back to you. Why do you keep talking to me? Some people from your past, you need to just let them stay in your past. They supposed to stay there. You bless them and keep it moving. You love them and keep it moving, but they're not to be in your life again. And some people will try to bull guard their way in. No, you can't do that. So at the end of the day, one of these, uh, people of God— glory to God— calls themselves and say, you know, I'm a prophetess now. I'm like, huh? Probably. And she's nowhere prophetess in no way. I, I— listen, she was in my ministry, my church I built in Jackson, Mississippi that we planted. She was a part of that church. Glory to the name of God. We had some 42 leaders in that church. She was a part of that church. I licensed her as a minister. I never saw a prophet on her. God never showed me that, and it never was there. That is not who she is.
I tell you what she is— she's an evangelist, but she wants to be a prophet so that she can feel bigger than she is.
That's ridiculous.
Listen, when you were little, when in your own sight, you, you got to stay low. Glory to God.
I'm not saying not have confidence and have low self-esteem. I'm probably one of the most confident people I know. I'm confident. I got godly confidence. But you have to have that with humility.
Oh boy, when you were little in your own sight, you don't got the big head and you think you're more than you really are. It's not about the material goods you have.
That's why I'll never get on here and talk about business, money, material good, because that's not important. My job is to talk to you about the gospel, is to share with you the good news of the kingdom. And can I tell you something? Any, anytime I do give a testimony, it's to his glory. It's so that people can see the glory of God on his blessings. But some people do that to draw attention to themselves because they're insecure. Listen, you got to make up in your mind that you're gonna be humble.
Jesus was a humble dude, and you got to be humble enough not to be a sore of discord. Sores of discord are prideful. They're arrogant because I said it last week, they want to be seen.
I told you when you— that one of the dangers was it creates distractions that causes delays, and ultimately it causes death.
You got to stay humble because discord leads to strife, and strife blocks blessings. Oh boy, watch this. Second point I want to bring up tonight.
So humility—
say humility, humility, humility. You got to humble yourself. You got to stay low.
The way up is down. Hallelujah.
Yeah, stay low, stay humble, fly under the radar. Who cares how many people like your post?
Stay low.
Let God exalt you.
Hallelujah!
My God, watch this. Can I share something with you? That if you're humble and you're a servant, the Bible says the servant of the Lord shall not strive. The servant of the Lord doesn't flaunt himself.
Let's read it.
1 Corinthians 13:5. Let's read this.
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own. Talking about love. It is not easily provoked, it thinketh no evil. So love doesn't sow discord.
Love is humble.
Love doesn't come looking for a fight.
Uh-oh.
So if I'm walking in love, I shouldn't be the one picking a fight all the time. I shouldn't be getting angry all the time. Y'all not talking to me. I shouldn't be behaving unseemly, hollering at waitresses. Come on, y'all not saying— what if the waitress needs to be saved and we hollering at them?
I mean, let me tell you something, I'm the first to tell on myself.
I probably didn't get loud, but the way I spoke to waitresses in the past, the way I have spoken to some customer service people— you know what, let me tell you something. And, and I used to try to justify that these customer service people really needed to be blasted out. I didn't cuss because I don't cuss, but I spoke aggressively.
And the Lord has convicted me of that.
Let me tell you how he got me one time.
He got me good one time.
I was driving down 75 going up toward the Grady Curve. This true story, y'all, because God will show you where you really at. I'm coming down 75. Anybody know anything about Atlanta? 75 at the Grady Curve is terrible. I was born and raised here. When I left Grady coming home, it was traffic. Glory to God. That was 51 years ago. It's been traffic for as long as I've been born. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. I'm coming down 75, hit the Brady Curve, and here comes this Cadillac Escalade. I see it in my rearview mirror, I see it in my driver's side mirror. They get up on me, my light is blinking, the passenger indicator thing. And they swoop in front of me. Really, I'm talking about I'm doing the speed limit, but they jumped in front of me, had no room, y'all, to get in front of me. And you know what I did? I laid on my horn. I laid on it. I said, you know what, I'm gonna let them have it. I got over in my car so quick Pulled over beside that truck, and I said— I was doing this, roll your window down, roll it down. I'm hollering, and the Lord said, first of all, look at your right hand. I looked at my right hand, and I'm making these gestures, roll down, and all he sees is this Apostle ring with this big old ruby. He probably know what it is, but it reminded me of who I was. I had on a clergy shirt with a chain and cross on, and I'm sure the man looked in the car and said, that preacher is going off on me. The Lord said, you got to be humble, sir. You gotta let that go and not have road rage and get so mad that you start misrepresenting my love. I'm telling you now. So I just told him myself, I need you to examine yourself. Next time somebody cuts you off in Atlanta traffic, next time your boss get on your nerves, don't cuss. Some of y'all be doing sign language with your finger at folk.
Don't do it.
Love doesn't behave unseemly. Listen, go to 2 Timothy 2, verses 23-24. The Bible said, but foolish and unlearned questions avoid. See, some people looking for strife, they'll show up and ask you some crazy, foolish, unlearned questions. I remember one time I was teaching about the Spirit, and I got finished. I said, anybody got questions? And I used to do this, and I would say to the church, anybody got questions about what I just taught? First of all, because you don't want people asking questions about everything else. So I just taught about faith. Anybody got questions about faith? I just told about love. Anybody got questions? Y'all understand what I'm saying? So here comes this lady, raise her hand.
I said, yes ma'am, what's your question? She said, who made God?
If that ain't— if that ain't foolish and unlearned. Some people say all questions good question. That's not a good question. I just got through telling you, glory to the name of God, that God is sovereign. Nobody made him. He exists all by himself, and he declared by himself he's God. You know what I did? I said, anybody else got anything else? Any more hands? I did what the scripture said. I avoided the unlearned question. Wait a minute. And also, see, y'all say, oh, Pastor, you being mean. No, I'm not. This is somebody come to church every week, and I know I'm teaching the word.
Who made God?
Male. I'm moving on. Anybody else? Because I'm gonna tell you right now, what you're not gonna do is get me pulled into that. Because guess what? There was no right answer for that demon that night, because it wasn't her.
That was a demon trying to get under my skin.
And I said, you know, we're gonna avoid that because that demon was trying to cause strife. As soon as church over, she had my office door knocking.
I told the adjutant, do not let that woman in.
I do not have an answer for her. She still was trying to ask me that question. I avoided it. And guess what? I kept seeing that church.
She never asked it again. I'm— I know she knew who made God because I done told the whole church nobody made God.
The Bible said avoid foolish and unlearned questions. It said knowing that they do gender strife. So sometimes you just got to ignore ignorance.
I'm gonna say it again.
Sometimes when people bring ignorance to you to sow discord and start asking you stuff that is rhetorical, redundant, you know they know the answer to it, you gotta, you gotta refuse it.
I got to get out of here because I'm preaching better than y'all saying amen.
I got a few more minutes. So you can't strive. He said, watch this, and the servant of the Lord must not strive but be gentle unto all men.
Apt to teach, patient. Wait a minute, Paul's talking to Timothy, who is a leader, who is a pastor. So let's put it in that connotation. So the pastor, the leader, the minister should not be addressing foolish and unlearned questions, getting in theological arguments.
I'm not gonna sit and have an argument with somebody about baptism. That's foolish. It's people going to hell and dying, and we sitting up fighting about baptism. I'm not gonna argue with you about that. I'm not gonna argue with you about being filled with the Holy Ghost. I'm gonna tell you you need to be filled with the Holy Ghost, just like I'm gonna tell you you need to be baptized. But at the end of the day, I ain't gonna argue with you about it.
Because that's not what I'm supposed to do.
I should be apt to teach, to give you comprehension about where you're ignorant, if you're ready to receive. Hallelujah.
And be patient with you. Somebody said, well, Apostle, you weren't patient with that lady that asked, may God—
Yes, I was. I just did that.
I avoided that unlearned.
She knew better. That was foolish.
You've been saved 30 years and you asking me who made God?
You were under the influence of a demonic force. Let me move on, I ain't got time.
Glory to God.
So here we go, point number 2. So first, humility is necessary to defuse discord and strife. Say that with me. Say, humility is necessary to discord— I'm sorry, humility is necessary to diffuse discord and strife. Y'all got it? Okay, so let's go to point number 2. Here's point number 2, because I know I said in the beginning I think I'm right, but I might be wrong. That's most people mindset. They think they're right. Watch this.
All a man's ways are right in his own eyes.
I'm gonna say that again. All a man's ways is right in his own eyes. That's why you got to get deprogrammed and allow the word of God to be your source of what's right.
Are y'all hearing this? Boy, this show is good to me.
Go to Proverbs 16, verse 2. I'm reading out the Amplified.
I'm going through these, man.
Proverbs 16:2. The Bible says, all the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes.
Watch this. But the Lord weighs the spirit the thoughts and intents of his heart. So you can think all you want, you right, but God is slipping past what you think.
Ahí is checking out what's in your thoughts, what's in your heart, what's in the corridors of your spirit. I suggest we do introspective daily. We look inside of us and everything in us that doesn't align with the way God thinks, that we dismiss it, that we mortify it, and we demand control over our heart, our mind, and we ask God to cleanse it. Watch this, and even guard our heart. Well, the Bible says out of it flow the issues of life.
Oh my God, go to Romans 12 and verse number 3.
We're moving. The Bible says, for I say through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you— here we go—
not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly. Oh, according to synphēneō in Greek, not discording to, not in discord, but symphaneo, in alignment, as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.
So when you come into God and receive your metron of faith that God has given you, God says, now you got to put faith in my word. And oh my God, you got to study. The more you study, the more you become aligned with what God says. 1 Timothy 3:6, watch this, back to Timothy. He says, don't be a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. Word novice there in Greek, watch this, y'all not gonna like it, but it means don't be stupid. Don't be stupid. Don't think you can do a supernatural job in your flesh. Don't think you can fulfill a supernatural kingdom assignment out of your flesh, out of your carnal intellectual capacity. You need God's supernatural ability on your intellect, on your body, to be able to fulfill what he's created and called you to do. You can't do it without him. And it's stupidified. Hallelujah. If you're a novice When you don't pray before you preach, oh, I don't care how well you study, you're a novice. I don't care how good it sounds, I don't care how many people listen to you, if you did not pray until God told you what to say, you, my friend, are a novice.
Ah, you're a kindergarten teacher because you're teaching out of your flesh. It's a stupid act to try to do anything that pertains to your life without God. You gotta let him be in control. Lord, I gotta get out of here. I gotta get out of here. Go to Proverbs 3, verse 7. So even though all your ways are right in your own eyes, watch Proverbs 3, verse 7. It says, be not wise in your own eyes. Fear the Lord and depart from evil. Reverence what God says. Fear it. Align yourself with it and detach yourself. Unplug yourself from evil. Are you— listen to me.
Don't be wise in your own eyes.
Don't follow after what you think is right. Live according to him. Listen, you should be living for the audience of one. Not to please men, not to make them happy. You should be living to please the Lord.
Hallelujah!
You should be living to give glory to his name and not strive against what God wants. I know someone said, well, we all make mistakes, we all come short. Yeah, we do, but you should be striving striving to make mistakes.
You should be striving to fall.
Something in you ought to want to do what's right, what the word of God says.
I gotta keep it going, man.
I'm almost done. Boy, I'll tell you. Here we go, and I'm gonna be done. I'm closing with this. Because I got 8 minutes. So all your ways are right in your eyes, that's arrogance, that's pride. I told you arrogance leads to aloneness. When you're alone, you cannot fulfill purpose. Purpose cannot be fulfilled in isolation. You need people. I need people to do what I'm called to do. I need people to run business. I need people to connect to my dreams, to make them come to pass. You cannot fulfill a dream in isolation. It requires other individuals. That's the way it's designed. Whenever you're trying to fulfill something alone, it's going to be hard. Arrogance runs people away from you. A husband that's arrogant at home, his wife does not like him. She may stay with him, but I promise you, she doesn't like A wife that's arrogant, the husband is miserable.
There has to be a level of humility that operates inside of the home. In your workplace, you have to move. This is— it's amazing. It amazes me that you will go to your job and follow the rules.
You'll be on time, you'll stay stay long as they want you to. You'll do whatever the boss asks, but the book tell you to do something, you take your time about doing that because you're not serious. You're not disciplined and living in accord with what he wants. Arrogance leads to aloneness. You're by yourself.
Aloneness—
watch this— leads to abortion.
Yeah, you end up aborting the dream.
Killing something that God calls to become an embryo in you, you kill it before it becomes alive, before it's made manifest. Arrogance leads to aloneness. Aloneness is abortion. You kill it, you destroy it. And I want to say to you, that's not the will of the Father. You were designed to carry your dream, to carry what God called you to do full term.
You would— So many— oh my God— visions and dreams are aborted prematurely and never brought forth into the world, and the world really needed it.
Don't abort what God has called you to do. Be humble, because arrogance leads to a lot of abortion. Watch this: abortion leads to adventurism.
Adventurism means you start taking risks. Uncalculated risk with your life, everybody else's life, because now you don't know the pure path you're supposed to be on. So you're all over the place. You're over here, you're over there. You ever see somebody start 20 businesses and they don't stick to none of them? That's dangerous. That's a dangerous thing. Now I get it, If you're a serial entrepreneur, you, you burst something out and you just ain't got the resources to keep it going, I understand. But there are some people that just don't have no clarity. They don't even write the vision. They don't even have a business plan.
They just jump into something because they're adventurous.
People been married 30 times because every time they get divorced, they go get another wife. Come on, man, that ain't the way we ought to be rolling. Because we aborted the original thing.
It released to adventurism, and then watch this—adventurism leads to adultery. Adultery is not just sexual unfaithfulness to a married person. Adultery means to be satisfied by something that doesn't belong to you.
I'll say it again. It means to be satisfied by something that does not belong to you.
Not just another woman, not just another man, but to be satisfied by a career that God didn't ordain, that's adultery. To be satisfied taking classes, going to school by something that ain't in his plan, that's unfaithfulness. Wait a minute. You're so arrogant you believe CNN and Fox News and NBC News over the Bible that you stay at home and you won't go to church. Wait a minute, you are committing spiritual adultery. God called the Israelites an adulterous nation.
Because they weren't loyal to him. They were fearful of confrontation. Fear. That's why you don't go to church. You're afraid you'll catch coronavirus. Come on, just be honest. I'm not going because I'm afraid I might get corona.
Yeah, you're afraid, but You're also an adulterer. Yeah, I'm sorry, I have to tell you the truth because you've allowed the terror of the media— media witchcraft. I feel like, I feel like running. Media witchcraft controlling your mind, keeping you out of the house of God, and you committing spiritual adultery. Stop saying you believe in God if you don't really believe in God.
I gotta teach like this because I read a survey that said 45% of the people that were in church prior to COVID have said through empirical data that they're not returning to church post-COVID.
The devil is a liar.
And this may just be the great falling away that the Bible talked about. The Bible said many would give heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils, and there will be a great falling away in the church. Many would depart from the faith.
Don't let that be you. Don't be an adulterer, because guess what? They're arrogant. And I'm closing with this scripture. Is going to cause judgment, and that's what you don't want. Pride brings judgment, ladies and gentlemen. You don't want that. You really don't. You don't want that. Let's walk in humility. Let's move in obedience. Let's trust God with our very lives. I know so many people who have said, if I die, let me die in the army of the Lord.
There's something out here that really could kill you. I don't see them folk.
We need to continue to serve God and trust he won't let it kill us. That he got us covered. I bind the spirit of fear right now in the name of Jesus, and I release you from the spirit of discord and strife that's keeping you out of alignment with God and keeping you locked into your own will, your own way. And for those of you that have been brainwashed by the media and being sucked subject to media witchcraft. I rebuke— ah, she— I rebuke media witchcraft now in the name of Jesus. Cast the devil out of your mind. I break down that stubborn, divisive, deceived will, and I command you to Subject yourself to the word of the living God. Let me read this text. In the name of Jesus. I'm so tired of powerless preachers who go with the status quo. For every leader, I heard that God, God told me to tell you again, open his house.
He told me to tell you, stop playing games. You still got it closed because your offerings went up while you were closed. But the Lord said, open your house. And some of you big preachers with these large facilities, 8,000, 10,000 people, you know you ought to be ashamed of yourself. You got plenty of room to spread people out if you wanted to. The Lord said open the house because many people in the epicenter of your world, they're looking at you and they're staying closed because you closed. Open the house, said the Lord. Believe what you preach. Stop playing games. I'm not afraid.
We're located at 5300 Frontage Road, Forest Park, Georgia. Thanks again. I'm going to tell you what thus said the Lord. He said, open the house, open the house. We need to see the glory in this time. We need to see a power. We— you playing games.
What do you really believe? Matthew 7, verses 1 through 5.
I'm reading this and I'm closing. Judge not that ye be not judged.
For what judgment ye judge, ye will— you shall be judged. And with what measure ye meet, it shall be measured to you again.
Listen to this.
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in your own eye? Or how would you say to thy brother, let me pull the mote out of your eye, and behold, the beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast the beam out of your own eye. And then shall you see clearly to cast the mote out of thy brother's eye.
I mean, let me tell you something, you— in other words, how can you preach the word of God, declare judgment, declare power, declare the anointing of God to others, and you got this big old beam in your eye and you don't even believe How can you witness to the world that God's a healer and you don't believe it? That he'll protect us?
It is in the book. Get that moat out of your eye so you can see clearly how to help others.
And part of what you need is found in corporate worship. I know you think you right, but you might be wrong. There's a danger in discord. It leads to strife. It leads to pride and arrogance. And that, my friends, is not the will of God. Let us pray. Father, in Jesus' name, tonight we thank you for your goodness, your mercy, your grace, your kindness, your favor. Father, I pray that you will bless the hearers of this word.
I pray that this word will land on good ground.
We've spoken the truth in love tonight as you've challenged us to speak it.
I pray, God, that it will break up fallow ground and that men will hear. Men will follow after what you say.
They will trust the word. I pray, God, that those that obey, that those that move according to your will You will show them your power.
You will show them your glory. I bind up discord. I bind up strife. I bind up judgment now for your people in the name of Jesus. And I thank you that there's peace with us, and we live in accord to your word, your plans, your desires for our life in the name of Jesus.
We want to be what you want us to be. We want to see ourselves like you see us, and we declare to be so now in Jesus' name. Amen and thank God. Listen, I pray this word has blessed you. Listen, if you just joined, share it. Watch the whole— go back, watch the whole message, because I promise you the word— I just went straight through the Bible tonight.
I know you think you're right, but you really could be wrong.
And the only premise we have that we ought to be standing on is the word of the Lord. Listen, I want to challenge your hearts to give tonight. I want to challenge you to sow into ministry. If you— there are two ways you can give at Rhoda Church. One, you can give via Cash App. Sow it at Cash App, Rhoda Church. Simple. R-A-D-A-H Church. Glory to God. And you can plant your seed there. If you want to give online, just go to radachurch.com/donate and sow your seed that way. Either way, we're certainly appreciative for you and all of your giving. You're so wonderful. You're such a blessing to us.
We love you, and we thank God for you. Thank you for joining us tonight.
I'm going to pray again for you as we go, but we're thankful that you tuned here to this Thursday night live stream, this Thursday night Bible study.
I pray it was a blessing to you.
Glory to God. Let's pray. Father, as we go from our— from this place to our several homes, bless your people, God. Make our way smooth, successful, and prosperous, and we'll give you all the praise for it, Lord. Thank you for your goodness, your mercy, your grace, your favor.
I love you, Lord, and I love your people. And I pray, God, in the name of Jesus, even if I said something Even if I said it in the wrong way, God have mercy on me. But I pray that the message would be heard, and I pray that no one would be offended. And if we did offend someone, let them— hallelujah— accept our forgiveness, accept our apology, and let them move in forgiveness. God, I give you praise.
I thank you, Lord, that your word is right. In Jesus' name, amen. And thanks be to God. God bless you. Peace.
