Narrow Minded People with Little Bitty Lives | Dr. Mike Woods, Sr.

Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. preaches against narrow thinking, urging believers to enlarge their expectations and adopt a God-centered mindset. He cites scripture like Matthew 19:26 and Jeremiah 29:11, shares healing stories, and calls the congregation to write big expectation lists and trust God for provision, including a vision for a large-scale homeless-rehabilitation facility.

I was trying to get away from this one little bit of song. It's on a few little verses, a few little lines, but it's been ringing in my heart, and I sat right there and I kept saying, I don't want do that.
It's— I just don't want to do this. I just— but it's been on my heart.
But I think it's necessary, hallelujah, because people gonna be who people are.
How about that?
But it's an old song, but if you listen to the words and actually, it's very— it's a shorter old song, but I'm just gonna sing the first little chorus of it and then I'm gonna be done with it. But he kept pushing me to say this.
I—
maybe somebody need to know they need to be who they are.
Be what you are and live the life. God knows your heart and you can't get by. He's coming back to judge this world. Be what you are, be what you are, and live the life. Be what you are, and live the life. Turn the talk, stop pretending. God knows your heart. We may not know, but he does. And you gon' get by. One thing for sure, he's coming back to judge this world. Be what you are, be what you are, and live the life.
Simple.
Be what you are and live the life. God knows your heart.
Hallelujah.
One thing about it, we can in. Other people may not know, but one thing for sure, hallelujah, he knows, hallelujah, the very intent of your heart, hallelujah. He's going to judge each and every one of us, hallelujah, for the deeds that we do, hallelujah. Glory to God. So you can— people can have it and pretend, but one thing for sure, when we stand before him, hallelujah, be what you are and live the life, live what you talk about. God, he know your heart, and you can't, you can't get by. He's coming back to judge this world, so be what you are, so be what you are, and live and live the life. That's pretty simple, ain't it?
Hallelujah. Be what you are and live the life.
Cuz he knows. Hallelujah. As much as we think he don't know, he knows. Nothing is hidden from him.
And I'm so thankful.
But I had to sing that, I mean, cuz it's been ringing for a couple of days. I sat right there and I kept saying, yeah, so be what you are. We need to be true to what God called us to be.
Hallelujah!
Come on, lift up your hands!
Hallelujah! Let's just worship him a few moments.
He's worthy. We glorify you, Jesus!
We glorify you! Thank you for truth and who we are, God, and who we are.

My soul say yes. Come on, clap those hands, open your mouth and say yes, Lord. Come on, you ain't doing it, but it's a yes to be blessed today on this Saturday afternoon. I heard him say it, it's a yes to be blessed. It's just a few of us in this little upstart church, but I dare you say yes to God.
I rather have a faithful few with a complete yes, with no motives, no agendas.
It's yes to God.
All we want is you, God. Just give me God. Just give me his purpose. Just give me his plan. Just give me his will. Just give me his way. Just give me God. Come on, clap those hands and say yes, Lord. Come on, we say yes, God. What do you require of us? We will obey. We will surrender to your will, not our will, but thy will be done. Yes, Lord! Yes, Lord! Yes, Lord!
Yes, Lord!
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes to your will, Lord.
Completely. Yes, yes, yes.
Yes, yes, yes to your will, Lord, completely. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes to your will.
Hallelujah, Jesus!
It's a cry from our soul today, Lord. We say yes, Lord. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, to your will, Lord, completely.
Yeah.
We surrender.
We'll do what you say, Lord.
We'll move in your timing. We'll trust your plan. We'll give deaf ears to the words and the plans of man and the plans of our flesh. And we simply say yes, yes, yes, yes, yes to know you, Lord, completely. Yes, it's yes, yes. Yes, to your will, Lord. Completely.
Yes.
Hallelujah. It's a yes to be blessed. I heard it, I heard it in the spirit. He said it's a yes in this season to be blessed. That's what he's looking for.
He's looking at— he's not looking for anything fake, anything wavering, anything double-minded.
He said he needs a yes to his plan for your life. And when you choose to surrender to his will Yeah, God, he said there's nothing you hold back from. I say yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes to your will, Lord. Yes to your will, Lord.
Yes to your will.
Lord, yes to your will, Lord, completely. Yeah, Father, we surrender everything.
Yes, Lord.
Let's just sing a little of that.
I surrender All to Jesus I surrender, all to thee I freely give. I will ever, I will ever love and Love and trust in his presence daily. I surrender all.
It's got to be personal. Nobody can do this for you. You got to surrender to me. All to me.
My blessed Savior, my blessed Savior, I surrender all.
Father, we thank you for the yes that's in our spirit. We thank you for this moment to give ourselves away, to pour ourselves out as a drink offering. We give you all of ourselves. Have your way in us, with us, and through us. Bless us through our yes. We give you praise for that, Lord. And Father, as we open up your word today, may your people be blessed by you and never impressed by me. Let the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of your spirit reign in this room. Hide Michael Woods behind the cross. Allow him not to be seen. Glory to God. Speak to us and liberate us through your truth. When your word declares, we shall know truth and the truth shall set us free. So we thank you for present-day truth that will penetrate every negative thing, every burden we carry, and lift us where we need to be. And we give you praise for that now, in the name of Jesus. Thank you for the presence that we feel in this place.
We thank you for this place.
We thank you for providing this place and making sure that we don't lack a thing. We give you glory for it now, in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. And thanks be to God. Clap your hands again and tell him, yes, Lord.
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
Glory to God.
Bless his name.
He's a mighty God. Glory to God. Wonderful Jesus. Yes, yes, yes, yes to your will, Lord. Complete me. Yes, it won't leave a spirit. It's got to be a complete yes. Glory to God. Have y'all been enjoying this series? Amen.
Well, a few people have.
Have you been enjoying the series?
Amen.
Yes.
Glory to God. God wants to deliver us from bad ways of doing things, bad ways of living, trying to earn our way to get something from God. God wants to break that so that we understand that the reward already belongs to us. You can't earn this. Glory to God.
So a few things—
this is the sixth part, you know, we've talked about a lot of different things, but in the last few messages We have discussed how to think like God, and we discovered last week what it would look like to think like God thinks. And the first thing we, we discovered was that we have to get rid of impossibility thinking. So if you don't think like God, you got to get impossibility out of your mind, and you got to know that with God Just like the scripture said, all things are possible.
Touch yourself and let's just, let's just rehearse it in our spirit because I want to make sure you're with me.
Say, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, say, all things, all things are possible, are possible through Jesus Christ, through Jesus Christ, who strengthens me, who strengthens me.
Say, I live in the realm of possibility. Possibility. And we looked at a few scriptures, but one of them was Matthew 19:26 that said, with God all things are possible. So if you in God—
or okay, let me just say it like this: if you are with God, okay, because he said with God all things are possible.
So when you— but if you're trying to do things without God or that God didn't sanction or ordain. That's when you run into the realm near of impossibility. Glory to God. And things get hard. Wait a minute, the Bible said the way of a transgressor is hard. And I was teaching last night in Florida, and I was telling them, you ain't necessarily just transgressing because you ain't hoeing, being a lesbian, or being a homosexual. You're transgressing when you ain't walking in your purpose.
That's right.
So you could have stopped all of the above and not be aligned with God's will. Are y'all hearing this? And still be a transgressor. So things are hard because you're not aligned, but you got to start thinking like all things are possible as long as you with him. Let yourself— as I got to stay with God.
I gotta stay with God.
Do like Mr. Brown, say self.
I gotta stay with God.
Hallelujah.
Secondly, we learned that if you're gonna think like God, you gotta think on larger terms. You can't think little. I was sharing last week, looking at how small this church is and how little Atlanta church is, how little DMV is right now. You think that's where I'm stopping? My mind is bigger than what I see. Glory to God, I'm thinking with him. Watch this, you got to think with God. Jeremiah 29:11 says, God says this to us: I know the thoughts I think toward you. Now watch this, the word thoughts is mahakavash in Hebrew, and it means I know the big thoughts, the big plans, the big dreams I have concern for you. So nothing God is thinking about you is small. So touch yourself, say, he's thinking about me.
He's thinking about me.
And say, what he's thinking—
and what he's thinking—
is big.
It's big.
I'm gonna say it again, say, it's big.
It's big.
It's bigger. I'm telling you, it's bigger than the car you drive. You get satisfied with that and say, okay, well, this is it. But what God has for you is bigger than that. Your house you're in, you can be saying, okay, well, this is good, I ain't moving no more. But at the end of the day, there's something bigger on God's mind if you will receive it.
Amen.
The salary you receive, there's something bigger. Say this, say it's bigger.
Something bigger.
I need you to hear it.
You got to get rid of the impossibility thinking.
You got to enlarge your terms.
You got to think in in terms of big things, because God is able to provide big things. So we discussed that.
We talked about stretching our habitations and letting go of negative outlooks. When you think like God, there's nothing negative in God's mind. He's positive.
Matter of fact, let me just start right there, because I don't think I covered that with y'all. I, I dealt with that in Atlanta because I left off at the other point here.
But watch this, if you're gonna think like God and have a large mind, you have to release every negative outlook, which means that starts with dismissing— because your outlook and your vantage point, how you see things, listen to this, is often determined by the voices that are in your ear. They cultivate the negativity. So you got to shut down those voices that tell you you can't do that. You can't— I, I saw you want to post something about, uh, Gals, GA, a ministry she wants to do for young girls. She, she has to keep that vision and stay focused She can't listen to nobody that says you can't do that. You don't have the resource, you don't have the manpower, you don't have the money. No, she has to know that a larger God is able to provide every one of those girls and every resource she needs to minister to them. Are y'all hearing this? But when your feet— when your ear is to the mouth of a gainsayer And a gangster is a person that cultivates negativity and destruction. Their word is never to build. Their word is never to empower or advance. When people come to me and start talking negative, I go the other way. Or they start talking— if I'm on the phone, I said, look, I gotta go, because I don't need that in my spirit. Y'all ain't got to say nothing.
Amen. Amen.
Because I need positivity, because my God thinks positive.
That's right.
Amen. Wait a minute, y'all don't believe it? Go to Genesis. This wasn't even where I was gonna start today, but go to Genesis. Maybe this is where we need to be. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Genesis chapter number 50 and verse number 20. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Because the enemy can start at you, and everything on his mind is to harm. To bring destruction, to slow you down, to keep you stuck. But Genesis 50:20 says, but as for you, you thought evil against me. Okay, let me tell you something. The moment you decide you're going with God and you're gonna serve his purpose and serve his plan, you better know there's some folk that's saying no.
'Cause I'm gonna stop it.
And some people are being used and don't even know they're being used, and they're thinking evil or destruction against your purpose. I'm telling you, they're diabolical in the sense that the enemy knows the end, so he employs these voices and these negative thoughts and word curses against your progress. Us. And you know what, he knows right when to bring them to you. Hallelujah. But you, you gotta listen. What you can— you gotta understand, it's evil against you. It's to stop your movement. You know why? Because anything in motion is dangerous. Oh my God, anything in motion is a threat to the will of the enemy. And you got to make up in your mind, whatever comes at me, I'm gonna keep moving.
That's right.
Let me tell you something, I have decided no matter what the enemy throws my way, I'm gonna keep going. Glory to God. I was telling the church last week that when I, when I was home, because, you know, just I was so tired because we got on the road last Sunday and went straight into church. And so I went to church I was like, okay God, something's got to break, something's got to give with this. Because the courage of a leader is being able to ask for help when they need help. So I'm saying, God, God, you got to help me, you got to, you got to encourage me right here because I'm wore out. And, and the Lord said, first thing he said to me, he says, son, You cannot quit because the only way you're gonna lose is if you quit. Okay, let me say that again. You can't quit because the only way you're gonna be defeated is if you quit. He said, because I'm with you in this. But watch this, this wasn't the thoughts of somebody else. This was my own thoughts exalting itself against the knowledge and will of God for my life in this season, saying you need to just give all this up. Why don't you just give, get a jacket church to somebody, get this church to somebody, and you just go and be an apostle in the marketplace and stop trying to plant these churches. Because you know what happens the older you get? Because I'm just— let me just be an honest leader with you right here. The older you get, there are two things that's vital to your happiness: your relationships and your achievements. I said it again, they're vital to happiness. You need good relationships, good people around you. Y'all ain't got to say nothing.
Amen.
You got bad folks around you, they will spoil everything. So the older you get, you don't have time for that.
That's right.
I might be dead in a little while, so I need to be happy as long as I'm here. And then when you got great purpose, your achievements mean a lot. Yeah. And when I start looking back over my life and see the things I've achieved in business and the things I've achieved ministry. I'm saying, well, maybe I'm in a season where, God, I don't need to be building churches from the ground. Maybe I just need to be going and on the road doing different things, get back out there and do that. The Lord say, no, sir, you're allowing this thought to exalt itself against my plan. And I just went into worship. I was hollering. We went there I got up because when the woman got prayed, she was praying about— she said, this is going to be a special day and God's going to do a special thing. And that's exactly what God said. He said, sir, I'm trusting you with this because you got a— you're special and you have a special assignment and you are one of my special gifts.
So you can't let even your own thoughts—
yes, that's right—
hinder the greatness that God wants to flow out of us.
Listen, he said, but as for you, you thought evil against me, but God meant it for good. See, them thoughts that were flowing through my head, they were evil. They were just— because look, I was ready to like, okay, let me figure it out. I'm trying 'You planning?' I'm gonna think, I'm trying to plan it in my head, and the Lord just interrupt that.
So, 'No, sir, what are you—
what do you— what?' He said, 'What I told you to do.' But he brought me to a fresh revelation.
Yes, yes.
Because sometimes you need a fresh revelation that is for your good.
Yes, yes.
See, the devil make them thoughts for bad, but God says, 'I'm gonna make these thoughts for your profit, your good, your benevolence.' Hebrew.
I want you to become profitable, and I want to give you a fresh wind.
So the evil should not stop you, it should give you more diligence. So when people are coming against your purpose, against your dream, don't let it stop you. Let it make you more vile than you were. So when resistance shows up You don't stop praying, right?
You pray more.
When this resistance shows up, don't stop worshiping.
You worship more.
I'm not gonna teach this, but I, I see this example. So in the flow of electricity, there's something called ohms. The ohms is an omega symbol. It means the end. So it declares the amount of power, potential, and ability that current needs to be from the beginning. So God has already determined everything you need at the beginning.
That's right.
He's already finished the work at the beginning.
That's right.
The thoughts come, the gangsters, the negativity comes. To make you discount what God already said he's gonna do. But the end has already been declared.
That's right.
But watch what happens in the flow of electricity. The first apparatus you get to is a resistor. So the resistor is pushing the current out. The reason the resistor is there And every building, every situation that has current flowing, there's a resistor. It's there to protect the object being powered because it doesn't want it to be overpowered and burn the building down. So the electrician that's coming from outside, before it gets in this building, it gets to a resistor.
That's why that's pushing it out and regulating. Oh my God.
So when you get resisted with negative people, negative things, abuse and rejection—
are y'all hearing this? It's a sign that you're flowing in the right direction.
If you never get no resistance You might not be flowing in the right direction, but when you're flowing in the right direction— oh my God, today, glory to God—
you got to understand, praise God, resistance going to show up because it's afraid that if you get to the end, what the owners have determined, that you going to start burning some stuff down with the fire that's on the end.
Oh, y'all got to talk to me here on the inside of you.
So it's got to resist you, so it's pushing you out, pushing you out. But wait a minute, there's another apparatus in the flow.
It's called a condenser. So what the condenser does, it's behind the resistor pulling the current through.
It speeds it up.
So it can get through the resistance.
So you're being talked about, don't quit, speed up. You've been lying on her, don't quit, speed up. Oh my God, you ain't got enough money to do it, don't stop, speed up. Oh God, I want to announce to somebody, you've been resisted, but it's okay. There's a producer named Jesus and he's trying to speed you up. Glory to God! Go faster, go harder, go longer. Are y'all hearing what I got to say here? Tell somebody to speed up, speed up!
Oh God, yeah.
So once, once you get—
what?
So it speeds you up, right? Gets you through the resistance.
But on the other side of the conductor, there's a transmitter.
The transmitter is sending out a signal, yeah, yeah, and it's saying this current is coming through, yeah, yeah. It's sending a message saying you better back up, cuz something powerful, something anointed Something full of glory and fire is coming through.
I tell you, slap somebody, tell them I'm coming through.
If you're watching online, type in the comments, I'm coming through.
Listen, you better watch my signal. God, the Holy Ghost just sent out a signal.
You tried to resist me, you tried to stop me, you tried to hinder me, but but Jesus pulled me through. And the Holy Ghost just sent out a signal: you better watch your back because we're coming through.
We're coming through anointed.
We're coming through with power. We're coming through with fire.
We're coming through with glory.
I guess somebody shout, I'm coming through!
Just type in the comments, watch my signal, watch my signal. Glory to God.
It ain't through though.
So you got resistance, you got a condenser, you got a transmitter, but the end of the apparatus, oh my God, it's a transformer. The transformer turns the courage into exactly what it needs to be to get the job done. Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. So when you get to the end, God changes your mind.
Yes, glory to God. He changes your thoughts so that you can be qualified.
You may not have the natural intellect to do what he called you to do.
But God says, when you get in the flow, I'll transform your mind and I'll give you intellect from the Holy Ghost. I'll give you creativity from heaven that you won't need man's wisdom or man's knowledge. I'm telling you right now, you're being transformed. You gonna think bigger, you gonna think higher. I dare you to take Touch yourself, say, I'm being transformed.
I'm preaching better.
So the enemy— calm down, Michael Woods. Oh God, touch yourself, say, I'm about to power up something.
You are elect.
The root of the word electricity is elect. You have been elected by God to power something that nobody else can power. Okay, go to Romans 8:28.
Let me show you what that looks like. Y'all know that verse.
He says all things work together.
The resistance works together. Work together is some plural in Greek.
It means that God employs himself with your trouble. He employs himself with your life and becomes a co-laborer with whatever your process you're going through is, and they work together. Watch this, for good, not negative, not bad.
This stuff is supposed to work out for good to those who love God.
Yeah, I'm with it. I got to stay with him and all the calls according to not my purpose, his purpose, his plan, his desire. Glory to God. Go to Psalm 42, verse 5. I'm just trying to show a positive mind man looks like.
It's how God thinks.
He thinks positive. Number one, man of God, it's on one. Glory to God, it's doing something crazy. Thank you, Lord. Good, that's good.
Psalm 42:5, the Bible said, why so downcast, O my soul? What you depressed for? What you going through mental, emotional issues for?
And you a child of God?
He said put your hope in God.
All them negative thoughts coming to you. What, you suicidal?
And you say why?
You gotta put your hope in God.
Most people who are depressed and downcast and down emotionally is because they place their hope in themselves.
Oh, watch this, or in some other source that let them down. You know, God's not like man. So just because another man let you down another human, you can't carry that over into your relationship with God.
That's right.
I think God's gonna let you down. He said, put your hope— the word hope in this Hebrew word is put your confidence in me, nothing else. Put your confidence in me, not your job, Now, what people say they gonna do— because I mean, you know, every time everybody is saying they're gonna do something, don't do what they say. And you put your confidence in people, you'll be downcast when they don't come through. But when your confidence is in God, you don't care about that, because you know you're in the will of God. You will God, and your hope is in him. What he say? He said, hope— put your hope in God, then wait expectantly for God.
So you ought not just be sitting around just tapping your fingers. Maybe God gonna come, or maybe God gonna help. I talked to y'all last week about going in that circle, just going in a circle. You don't know what's going to happen, just wandering in the wilderness.
But the Bible said wait with expectation, so I'm waiting. But I know any day now God's going to bust a move, and everything I've received in my spirit from him is gonna be manifested in my life.
Amen.
What you expecting?
Are you expecting negative small things?
Are you expecting big things? You ought to have a— matter of fact, when you leave here today, those of you online watching this, write you out an expectation list. And I want you to write the biggest things you possibly can that you can expect that's in alignment with God's will for your life, that is in his word, that he told you you can have. The first thing I want you to write on it, because this is important—
people don't believe it—
some people want a lot of spiritual power. That's good, I want that too.
But after you get that, you need something else.
You need some money. You need purpose.
You need—
because it takes money to advance your dream. So I want everybody in here, everybody watching me, at the top of your list, I want you to write your number. Everybody ought to have a number. You ought to have a number of money that you want to make so you can fulfill the purpose of God. Y'all already know my number. It's several billion, not one billion. If I get one billion, oh, it's on for real, because I'm gonna turn that in about 20 billion. You didn't write your number on the top of that thing. And then start listening stuff. Watch this, because if God— if you wait expectantly and God shows up in the first number, and the rest of the stuff really be easy, because you can take care of all the other stuff you wrote with your number. So you playing around enough because religion and legalism told you not to talk about money. Two things in church we don't want to talk about: sex and money. The problem is we want some of both of them, and most people want a whole lot of both of them. So we need to talk about it.
That's right, it's in the Bible, it's biblical.
That's right, people get nervous. You're gonna talk about money and God. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. Guess what?
He don't need the earth. He made it for us.
That's right.
So it's our earth.
Are y'all hearing this?
That's right.
Oh God, help us.
He said, wait expectantly.
Now watch this.
Praise him. So watch this, you got to know that God's credit is good with you.
Amen.
So you praise him in advance before he even show up.
So you ain't expect— so part of your expected waiting, you, you praising while you wait.
Oh yeah, I hear that, God. I'm gonna say it just like God just gave it to me.
You got to learn to dance in the hallway until the door opens. You stand in the door like Jesus. They gonna have to open this door for me. You better learn how to praise God expecting that door you're trying to get through to open and praise him until it opens.
Y'all hear this?
Said, praise him, my help and my God. The, the psalmist identifies that to me, not only is he my God, but he's also my help. He's my resource. The word help there in Hebrew means he's how I live. It's in him I live.
In him I move, in him I have my being. Say, he's my help.
He's my help.
Somebody shout help!
Help!
I want you to remember that the next time you need something. Just remember, he's your help. It's before you go and try to help yourself, remember he's your help.
That's right.
See, legalism will make you resort back to your own self- And you don't forget, and which is negative thinking, because you believe that you gotta help yourself. Oh, I got to have 4 jobs to make sure these bills get paid. Yeah, you trying to help yourself. You got to trust God to be your help. Watch this, either he is or he isn't. It's just like being a little bit pregnant.
Either you is or you ain't. You can't be a little bit pregnant.
Either he gonna help you or he gonna help you.
Are y'all hearing this?
Amen.
So we got to get rid of that stinking thing. So not only do— to think like God, not only do I have to get rid of impossibility thinking—
say that with me, say no more impossibility.
No more impossibility.
Say, I also have to think in larger terms.
I also have to think in larger terms.
So I have to be positive about everything.
I have to be positive about everything.
And here's the last thing about this mind, thinking like God. You got to leave the ordinary behind— watch this— and be willing to think about what nobody has ever done.
God's a creator. You don't have to blend into a system and be like everybody else and do what everybody else does. You have to leave the ordinary way of doing that, because it's legalistic to feel you got to follow into a pattern and do things like everybody else.
Amen.
But you got to leave the ordinary behind and say, hey, My God's got something unique, something authentic, something vintage, something for me that nobody else can do.
Let me just give you—
I just want to—
I, I, I released something like this last week. I said one of the things I want to do that has not been done in charismatic my next circles is build a hospital.
Glory to God.
One of the other things I want to do, glory to Jesus, I want to be positioned where we—
it's a building downtown Atlanta.
I've been claiming this building for like 10 years. You know how fast Atlanta is growing?
Nobody's bought that building. Somebody would have bought that building.
Nobody bought it, right? Somebody would have bought that building by now, made it a hotel, made it a condominium, made something.
I mean, you could drive down right when you pass the Grady Curve on 75 North, you can see the building.
Nobody's bought it. God spoke to me over 10 years ago and said he wanted me to clean up homelessness in LA.
You got all these shelters all around, there's so much— because once they fill up, that's it. This building— God gave me a vision of a facility that's not just a place for them to sleep, but it's a place for them to find freedom and be deployed back into society as productive citizens. So the vision is this: is to take the place, build it out, create enough rooms for 300 people at a time. Bring them in, put them on a 6-month program where every day they, they don't leave. Everything happens here. They go through deliverance. We got a full-fledged cafeteria and restaurant at the bottom. We got a medical clinic, we got, uh, psychological counselors, we got a Georgia Department of Labor, we got everything they need right in the building. So they need to go back to school, they need to be rehabilitated. If they need deliverance, we got a church inside of there. So it's always a worship service going on, always some preaching in there where people can get what they need. Watch this, when they go for their program, we release that $300 to bring another one up here. Before long, we have broken the cycle of homelessness.
And we can end it.
That's right.
But you need a massive facility like that.
That's out of order.
I could have got a little building and just—
okay, we're gonna sleep like 20 people in here and, you know—
no, I want to knock a big chunk out of it at one time. So I'm telling you right now, you got to think out of the box. Don't think in line with your resources. You be dreaming based on your bank account. Let me see what I can start with this. Nothing. If you could do it, you wouldn't need God.
That's right.
God wants to get the glory out of it. So stop counting your money when it comes to your dream. He says in Philippians 4, I'll supply your need according to my riches, not yours.
Glory to God. So here's what I want to get today. I want to cover all this because I've been up too long already.
Y'all learn anything? Amen.
So narrow-minded people So basically what we learned in that segment is narrow-minded people with little bitty minds don't think like God. They just don't. They can be saved with the Holy Ghost running out of every hole in their body, but have the wrong kind of thinking and they'll be stuck. That's why a lot of Christians die and they be having GoFundMes trying to raise money to bury the person because something was wrong with the thinking while they was alive.
Are y'all hearing this?
Listen, if something happens to me, I know I'm taking care of—
but it just so happened something crazy out of all that happens and my wife can't bury me.
Please don't put no GoFundMe up.
That is not a good testimony to the kingdom. Just, just take me down and let them set me on fire and come to the church, put a picture of me up, and just go and do it that way. Well, if y'all getting paid to set me on fire, y'all set me on fire. Just take me, but please don't put no GoFundMe up.
Because that says there's something terribly wrong with how I thought while I was alive.
Narrow-minded people have little lives because they don't think like God. But here's another piece on the spiritual side: narrow-minded people who are legalistic usually miss their miracle.
A lot of people don't see the miraculous in their life because their mind is too narrow. They've depended on systems that are non-miraculous and non-supernatural, which would be natural, so long that something miraculous is far-fetched to them. Let me give you an example. What's your first thought if something really is hurting you on your body?
Go to the doctor.
That's a system of thinking that was introduced to us in the natural. What if I told you the kingdom has a healthcare system? Could you expand your mind enough that when pain rises in your body, you pray the prayer of faith?
That's right.
You call for the elders of the church.
Amen.
You get anointed with oil and believe the word that the sick shall recover.
That's right.
Amen. But your mind got to be expanded to believe that, cuz the system has been indoctrinated that we need doctors.
Listen, I ain't discounting doctors, but they still practicing medicine. They ain't master medicine.
They still trying to figure it out. That's why pharmacists will make pills, they'll bring your blood pressure down, but it end up making you have seizures.
All the other little side effects that go along with it, because they ain't perfected, they practicing.
When you go to the doctor, they give you a diagnosis. And they're trying— a diagnosis means we are, we're diagramming your symptoms so that we give you a prognosis, which is performance, something you perform to tell us if our diagnosis was right. They don't know what they tell you is right or not, but they just keep practicing and writing these journals. Well, that worked, so we can do that.
Yeah, they make us guinea pigs.
That's all it is. They're trained in science to diagram the symptom. But when your mind is broad, you can go to the doctor, he can tell you you got cancer, and you'll say, okay, I heard you, Doc. But because you still practicing medicine, the Bible told me whose report will I believe. I heard your report, but I believe the report of the Lord.
His report says I'm healed.
His report says I'm whole. Glory to God.
I'm telling you, it works.
Let me give you an example. Go to 2 Kings chapter number 5.
Glory to God.
I'm almost through, y'all. Stay with me.
The Bible said—
I don't want to read this so you can hear it. Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master and honorable, because by him the Lord had given deliverance unto Syria. He was also a mighty man in valor, but listen, he was a leper. He was sick unto death.
And the Syrians had gone out by companies and had brought away captive out of the land of Israel a little maid, and she waited on Naaman's wife. And she said unto her mistress, will God my Lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria, for he would recover him of his lepers. So, so first of all, it's somebody that has a wide mind that shows up and says, Naaman don't have to live with this. That's right, there's a prophet that can speak into his life and he'll be healed. Okay, so when God sends a word, a word of instruction, so instead of saying, well, I don't know if that was God or David, but when you trust the prophet, you gotta open up your mind.
Yeah, yeah.
Are y'all hearing this?
I said, this is God talking to me.
Amen.
But watch what happened.
Watch the story. And one went in and told his lord, saying, thus and thus said the maid that is of the land of Israel.
And the king of Syria said, go to, go, and I will send a letter unto the king of Israel. And he departed and took him 10 talents of silver and 6,000 pieces of gold and 10 chains of raiment. Now watch this. So he says, I'm gonna send a letter and I'm gonna sow a seed to the king. Because I'm interested in this. So his mind is open, right? Verse 6: And he brought the letter to the king of Israel, saying, Now when this letter is come unto thee, behold, I have therewith sent Naaman my servant to thee, that thou mayest recover him of his leprosy. So we see a couple of things here. One, again, we see the prophetic power to heal. We also see that unlocking that prophetic power came through a request. So that means when your mind is open, you can go to the prophet and say, I'm sick. Can you prophesy healing to my disease? Or I'm dealing with this. Or you ain't got to wait for the prophet to show up and call you out.
Jesus.
Because in the church we've been trained wrong, because a lot of times what we do in prophecy, it's not Biblical. You never see really in the Bible where prophets were in the synagogue or the temple and they called people out and prophesied to them like we do. We do that because that's the way the Lord has chosen to manifest himself in this dispensation, but typically that wasn't how it worked. If people needed a word They went to the prophet and requested it. Watch this. And they sold. See, when people start teaching again, sowing to the prophet— I'm not trying to collect an offering from you, I'm just trying to give you some knowledge, right? It's okay to unlock the prophetic through request and through giving. Because they knew if they— you don't come before a king empty-handed. Are y'all hearing this? You can't go into King's Court not bearing a gift, and you definitely could request his profit if you didn't bring a seed for that profit. And it came to pass when the king of Israel had read the letter What's this? He ripped his clothes and said, I am God. Am I God to kill and to make alive? That this man does sit unto me to recover a man of leprosy.
What's the order?
It had to come through the king. And the king like, I really got a problem with this right now because I ain't God. But watch what happens.
What?
From the sinner, I pray you, and see how he seeketh a quarrel against me. So the king took offense. He thought it was mockery. But the prophet in verse 8 said, and it was so when Elisha the man of God had heard the king of Israel Israel had rent his clothes, and he said to the king, saying, 'Wherefore, why you took your clothes off?
Let him come down to me.
He shall know that there is a prophet in Israel.' Look how respected the prophetic voice is, even by natural law. See, when our mind expands God will position us to speak to people in authority who will call to us. See, here's what the church want to do. We want to show how gifted we are and prophesy in church and practice on each other. But the reality is these gifts are to shift systems and shift governments. And to make people know, like the prophet said, that there is a God in America. I need our prophetic voice and our apostolic sound to be so distinct and so accurate and so full of power that they'll pick up the phone at the White House and say, there's a little prophet down there in Mississippi or down there in Atlanta, he's got a word from the Lord.
We need to understand what we need to do in this Esther's.
We need to be trusted by governors and mayors and councilmen to shift systems through the word of the Lord. But if the mind is down, we just want to do it in here.
And then watch this, when a lot of that happens in here, first thing we say, we're a prophetic ministry.
I preached last night, or do you have a crown or are you a clown? That was the word last night. I ran out the door when I got finished.
Hallelujah.
But it's a whole bunch of clowns calling themselves prophetic, calling themselves apostolic, and all they're doing is rehearsing on the church and not showing up in the world. What we don't want is to raise up crowds. We want to have an effect in our society so that people will know that there's a God in America.
Are y'all hearing this?
Watch this. So Naaman came with his horses and with his chariot to come to prophet and stood at the door of the house of Elisha. And Elisha sent a messenger unto him saying, go and wash in Jordan. The prophet said, you know what, I ain't even got to talk to you. He sent the messenger, he said, just get this what he need to do, I ain't even got to go talk to him. So I'm, I know Elisha done already talked to the Lord, he know he coming. So the Lord done told him what to tell him. Here's the instruction, he said, tell him go wash in the Jordan 7 times, and your flesh will come again, and here you'll be clean. That's so. Here we go. Naaman, narrow-minded. Verse 11: But Naaman was wroth. But Naaman was narrow-minded. He got mad because it wasn't what he wanted to hear. Now, a lot of people miss their miracle because when the instruction come, a lot of time it ain't what they want to hear. Oh God, so they get robbed because we want it quick, we want it fast. We don't want to follow instruction, we don't want to do something that will produce a result.
They would say, look, I ain't gonna do all that.
The Bible said he went away, and behold, I thought he was a prophet, and I thought for sure he'd at least come out and talk to me. And stand with me. See, that's what we want. And call on the name of the Lord. I want him to come here to touch and agree with me, grease me down.
That's what the church people want, man. I'm just telling you.
But he had the solution.
His mind just need to be expanded enough to receive that. It didn't come through a legalistic or religious way. I thought he was gonna call on the name of his God and strike his hand over the place and recover me as a leper. No, bro, it's— you got to do something.
That's right.
Verse 12, he said, are not Abana and Pherah and Damascus better than all the waters of Israel? They questioning where you want him to wash. Like, what? Why you ain't send me the clean water? You sending me to the dirty Jordan? And the Bible said he left mad.
I love the scripture.
He left it right. He probably said, this dude is crazy. I'm going to go wash in the muddy, dirty Jordan.
Dude, you a leper. You already unclean. Your flesh is being ate away. You might want to listen, but because his mind is narrow and it didn't come the way he wanted it— and his servants came near and spake unto him and said, my father, if the prophet had bid thee to do some great thing, wouldn't you have done it? How much rather then when he said, wash and be clean? So it took some more people to come and get his mind open.
That's why, that's why, that's why.
See, when your mind closed, sometimes you need a mind-opening committee. So man, look, why don't you just go and follow the instructions? I can imagine them saying, your arm about to fall off, neighbor. The leprosy is eating you up. You got 4— you got 3 toes on one foot. And two toes on the other, because leprosy is destroying, man. Go and do what the man said.
Sometimes you just need somebody to talk some sense into you.
That's right.
And I can imagine these were the people, glory to God, that had experienced the prophet's power before, and they knew what it meant to follow. They said, now the prophet would have said this, you would have did this if it was convenient for you. Well, he told you to wash, just go wash, man. Verse 14: Then he went down and dipped himself 7 times, just like the prophet said, enjoying the— 'cause his mind got open according to the saying of the man of God, and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of— he had a baby body.
And the Bible say he was Why? Because he opened his mind, followed instruction.
We gotta learn to follow the instruction, even if it ain't the prophet. We gotta follow what the word says.
That's right.
You can't half obey. Half obedience is disobedience. Let me go deeper. Delayed obedience is disobedience. You gotta obey what the word said, and the longer you delay, you're holding up your miracle.
Are y'all hearing me?
Glory to God. Just touch your belly and say, I can't delay anymore. Come on, say it again. So I can't delay anymore. Say, I gotta obey the instructions.
See, some people— I'm almost done, y'all— they never really experienced life because they have fought themselves to death.
They don't sit there and thought themselves out of the blessing of the Lord.
Oh boy, you'll wear yourself out thinking against God's plan.
You'll sit there, be scratching your head, beating yourself up trying to figure out how you gonna do something.
Something.
And God says simply, obey me and I'll take care. Y'all hear this?
Amen.
Look, it'll kill your business, it'll kill your ministry.
Yeah, I see that.
Saul, he thought too much and it killed his ministry. Let's just look at it.
1 Samuel 2.
Let's just look at it. 1 Samuel 2. Glory to Jesus. Here we go, verse number 6.
It says, and the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them and be turned into another man. So that's a promise to Saul. One, that he'll be transformed. Two, that he will prophesy with the company of prophets, that he will have a ministry, right? Verse 7, watch this. And let it be when these signs are come unto thee, that thou do as occasion serve thee, for God is with thee. In verse 8, and thou shalt go down before me in Gilgal, and behold, I will come down to thee. We go. To offer burnt offerings and to sacrifice, sacrifice a peace offering.
7 days will you tarry till I come to thee and show you what to do.
Instructions. He said, prophesy, get transformed, go, go to Gilgal before I get there. What I need you to do when you get to Gilgal is wait on me. Don't do nothing. Wait till I get there.
Go to chapter 13. Let's see how he waited.
13, uh, verse 8. It says, and he tarried 7 days according to the set time that Samuel had appointed. So he waited 7 days. Samuel didn't tell him to wait 7 days. We just read it. He said, wait till I come. But Samuel came not to Gilgal, and the people were scattered from him. So when Samuel didn't show up— watch this— the people scattered. And Saul said—
this is a test—
bring me a burnt offering and peace offerings.
And he offered the burnt offering.
Ain't nobody told him to do that. He thinking too much. He thinking that these people done left, they were here because they were waiting on the prophet to come to do the burnt offering, and since he didn't do it, I'ma just go and do it. Ain't what he said. That's not the instruction. And it came to pass that as soon as he made an end of the offering, the burnt offering, Samuel came and went to meet him, that he might salute him. And verse 11 said, he said, what have you done? And Saul said, because I saw the people were scattered. So here we go, because people left and you weren't here in the days appointed. And the Philistines gathered themselves together and mismatched. Therefore I said, the Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal. And I have not made supplication unto the Lord. I forced myself.
He said he forced himself to disobey the instructions.
Why would he do that?
To see if the people come back, because he didn't trust the Lord enough.
To wait. My God.
And Samuel said to him, thou hast done foolishly.
Thou hast not kept the commandment of the Lord which he commanded thee. But now, watch this, the Lord have established thy kingdom upon Israel forever. So you would have had an eternal ministry forever, but you don't mess that up.
Because you didn't follow instructions. Look at verse 14. This is what it says: But now your kingdom will not continue. The Lord sought him a man after his own heart. In other words, your mind was too narrow. You were thinking too much. You missed your miracle. You missed eternal faith. Good God Almighty. Listen, don't think we're indisposable. If we won't obey, God will find somebody that will.
Amen.
And the Lord commanded him to be a captain over his people because thou hast not kept that which the Lord commanded.
Now watch what happened.
The Lord goes and find David, a shepherd boy that's after the Lord's heart, and makes him the authority in Israel. And guess what Saul does? He gets mad, and now he wants to kill David. That's what people do when they're in disobedience and you're in obedience. They're angry because you're obedient, so they rise up and try to bring destruction to you.
That's right.
You can't let things and people who are narrow-minded that miss it make you miss it. Paul was thinking too little.
He didn't think God was big enough to bring the people back or to give him some new people.
Are y'all hearing this? That's right, that's right.
Sometimes it's better to birth new babies than trying to resurrect dead babies.
Y'all ain't got to talk to me.
You got to make up your mind. I want what God has for me. Basically, this dude devised a plan to take care of himself.
That's right. That's We can't do that. I'm closing.
Narrow-minded people think that there's only one way to do things.
They get so narrow-minded, we got to do it this way.
I was talking to a lady in the airport today on my flight. I flew from Fort Lauderdale Atlanta, and I got to connect the flight in Atlanta to Jackson because nothing comes straight to each other. So I'm standing here talking to this lady, she's telling me, she said, I feel something.
Okay, people be more excited about stuff than I am. I don't know what you feel, but I know that word.
She said, she said, yeah, I feel it.
I know, I feel the Holy Ghost.
She said, you saved? You're a preacher?
I said, yes.
I said, I've been going to Jackson to preach in my church in Jackson. I said, you, you live in Jackson? She said, no, I'm a pastor in Columbia, Miss—
I said, oh, well, praise God.
So I start telling her how I used used to go to Columbia for Pastor Montgomery. How we had great— remember, he was having great meetings now, remember? And I was telling about that.
She was like, oh, I remember you, I heard you preach, I came when you preach.
She said, uh, I need somebody to connect to to help me move my church to where it needs I said, oh yeah, that's what we're here to do, we're here to serve. So what are we gonna do?
Then she said, she gave to my neighbor church, took me to church.
This is an Apostolic Church.
So I said, I grew up in the PAW, you know, Jesus.
And then she starts like, yeah, I believe in you, repent, be baptized in Jesus' name, be filled with the Holy Ghost. And I, I didn't, I just locked it down.
Because I believe, I believe that, right? Because if I baptize you, I'm gonna baptize you in Jesus' name, but I ain't gonna tell you you're going to hell if you've been baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
I'm not gonna do that.
I'm gonna do it because I'm an apostle and that's how the apostles baptized, right? But she gonna send you to hell if you've been baptized in Father, Son, Holy Ghost. You're going straight to hell, okay? I'm not gonna tell you that.
Listen, I said, okay, this is what we're dealing with. As I said, my head— so I started talking about some of the things we were doing, and she was like, oh yeah, I'm open to that. It's okay. My point is, there are people that believe you got to be baptized this way. That's legalism.
That's a narrow mind.
You got to open your mind, you know, that God is not just angry God. He get mad at people.
That's right, that's right.
And when you stand before him, he gonna be checking what name or how you got baptized.
That's right.
Come on now, he's so loving.
That's right.
And if you, if you been baptized in the Holy Ghost, gee, listen, and my thing to all of them is the man that was on the cross didn't get baptized in no name. And Jesus said, this day you'll be with me in paradise. He repented and got in heaven.
That's right. So that's right.
So at the end of the day, that's what gets us to heaven.
That's right.
Not what— baptism in the Spirit is what gets us in heaven, not water. Water is a sign to people that I'm with God. But anyway, you can't be so narrow-minded that you believe that that's the only way. I got saved and filled with the Holy Ghost on the altar calling on But there are some people that believe that's the only way you can get it.
That's true.
They're accustomed to it.
It's their system because it's the way their friends or their relatives approve of.
So we got to do it this way because this is what everybody else said we got to do it. But people receive the Holy Spirit in different ways. Acts 2, verses 1 through 4, the Bible said the Holy Spirit came in like mighty rushing wind, filled the room, talked with tongues of fire, and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and they began to speak with tongues.
So you can't get it at the altar, right?
But wait a minute, Acts 8:17 says, then the apostles laid hands on them. And I've seen that happen in my ministry. I've laid hands on people and they got filled and spoke in tongues for me.
That's right.
Are y'all hearing this?
So I'll be wrong to say the only way you're gonna get it, you gotta go to the tarry room and call on Jesus until you get it.
That's not the only way.
The church I grew up, we had a tarry room. You got saved, you went and got baptized in Jesus' name, you went to the tarry room. And it was an old mother back there, you gonna call Jesus until you spoke. And look, I appreciate how I got it, and I'm not knocking it, but I'm telling— what I'm saying is it's not the only way.
That's right.
We gotta open our mind because I believe that there's a revival coming. We ain't gonna have time to tell.
That's right.
Come on now.
That we'll just lay hands and they'll be baptized and they'll speak in tongues. There'll be days we won't have a pool, but God will baptize them in spirit.
Because a lot of times, if you don't get baptized in spirit, you go down a dry devil, a wet devil, you come up a dry devil, come up a wet devil.
Remember the old mother used to say, just a wet devil.
Still the devil. Got baptized, but you still the devil. And you went down in Jesus' name.
Glory to God.
I mean, here's another way. That ain't the only two ways either. Acts 10:44, it tells us while Peter was preaching, the Holy Spirit fell on those who were listening And they begin to speak in tongues.
I'm telling you, that's revival, man.
Then we preach the word to people that don't even know God, that the power of God falling away upon them, that they start to get filled and start speaking with tongues immediately upon hearing the word, because the word is powerful. Watch this, the scripture says, I'm not ashamed of the gospel. Of Jesus Christ, for it is the power. This book is the power. So something should happen when I'm preaching this book or talking this book and freedom to people that don't want it.
Jesus gonna use all kind of methods to heal people.
He laid hands. Sometimes he would speak the word and people would be healed. Sometimes he'll just tell them, go home, and on your way home, yes Lord, you're gonna be healed.
And look, and especially a lot of apostolic and prophetic houses, what we have done, we're raising up babies who are dependent on us laying hands every time they come to church.
Oh my God, we, we gotta mature that we can receive the word and get the victory in the word and receive the blessing we need through our relationship with God. I think it's an issue if I got to prophesy to the same people every week. Let's fulfill the last words you got.
Yes, Lord.
Let's get some word to bring that to pass. But every Sunday, legalistically, we go through this process to feel like we got to do the same thing.
It's dangerous. And then we'll say it was a move of God just because we was in church 9 hours.
Don't make it a move of God because you was in there laying hands on the same people. That's right, that's right.
For 9 hours, you been laying hands on them every week. Something need to happen.
Oh boy, sometimes he would just cast the devil out.
He would do unorthodox things. He spit on the ground. Your mind has to be open.
I mean, if God tell the man of God to spit in his hand and lay hands on you Some of y'all be ready to fight.
You want to do blue light?
I wouldn't do that unless God told me.
I hope he never tells me that.
But the reality is Jesus made a mud pie with his spit. And laid it on the blind man.
I bet you that blind man didn't care whether he could see, because it worked.
You got to open your mind. And here's a good thing about that: he didn't see Jesus spit in the mud because he was blind.
That's right.
When you got sight to see somebody do that, it's gonna work different. But you got to open your mouth. I'm just saying. The method is unorthodox. I was at the church one time and the preacher had— he told people, he said he was in revival and he said, I want everybody to bring cases of water on Friday night. I'm gonna anoint these cases of water. Well, in my mind when I heard, I'm like, that's crazy.
This water ain't gonna do that to nobody. I mean, I was I was younger, man.
My mama got her case.
What we doing?
We need to drink that water.
Are you going to drink it?
Are you going to get delivered when you drink it?
She had faith.
Her mind was open. And all them other people, hundreds of people, all this water stacked up on water. He come to church, he preach anoint water.
I'm sitting there, a teenager, man, crazy, man, water ain't going to do nothing to nobody, man. We had so many testimonies of people that took that water home and got healed, got financial blessings, because they believe. My mom got a financial breakthrough from drinking that water.
She, she needed God to do something, and we needed it bad.
And she remembered the man of God said, when you need a breakthrough, drink a bottle of this water. She's throwing it back, and in a matter of days, my God, the breakthrough came.
Amen.
Just out of nowhere, finances showed up. So again, it ain't just one way to do things. I mean, the scripture says try the spirit to see if it be of God. So you still have to be open enough to make sure it's God. Some stuff can be a little too unorthodox.
I don't want to tell I can tell you, because I just want you to know everything, and I just need to show you the other side.
Man came to his pastor— not me, another pastor—
make sure y'all put that out there right now.
Went in the office, talked to his pastor, said, hey, brother, I've been having problems at home with my wife. You know, I'm getting older, my privates ain't working like it used to. Pastor said, okay, let me pray for you. Man, God did this. He said, no, Pastor, no, take it out. Let me pray for you.
Oh wow, that's too much.
I'm not doing that. Me and God gonna have to have a talk. If God say that, I'm like, Jesus, no, that can't happen.
Well, I'm gonna have to repent later.
I need you to let me speak the word over this thing. Well, this preacher did that.
I don't believe God told him that. He said God told him that.
The guy And listen, this is— I got firsthand information because the guy was kind of broken behind it, so he talked to me about what happened.
And I said, he did what?
I told him, I said, the first problem I have is you pulled it out. You should have told him no.
I said, dude, no, something wrong with that. That's just not right.
No, so, but anyway, anyway, I have no idea. I didn't get into that part of the conversation.
The way he was talking, no, Jesus, it should have happened anyway.
Even when it comes to getting a breakthrough and healing, some people think too much to get healed. They come to the altar and just be worried about what's going on and trying to figure out what's happening. They don't receive the healing.
And then watch this, you have people come in and sit and see healing happen, see people get healed. And because they're sitting there judging what's happening, they'll need the same thing and won't get it.
But their judgmental mind makes them narrow-minded, so they don't get what they need. Come on, go to Luke 19. I'm not going to read all this, but I'm gonna tell you, I'm almost done for real, I promise you. Y'all give me 5 more minutes. I mean, give me 5 more minutes. Let me see your hands. All right, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35.
Felicia and Sandra did not raise their hand.
I still got 30 of y'all, but I'll be through, I promise you.
Write this down because I want you to remember this: little narrow-minded people give up easy. Watch this, but big thinkers, they always find a way. Hallelujah! When you think big, you ain't gonna give up quick. You're gonna find a way to get what you need. In Luke 19, verses 1 through 8, it talks about Zacchaeus. Zacchaeus was little in stature. He was a rich man, but he wanted to get to Jesus. And anywhere Jesus went, it was always crowds around. And because he was little, you know, he's a little man, he couldn't get through the crowd. He didn't give up. He was a big thinker. He said, okay, I'm gonna run ahead of the crowd. And the Bible said he went up in a tree, and all he wanted to do was see him. Hallelujah. Jesus went by, looked up in the tree, and he saw him. And Jesus said, come down, I got to go to your house and eat. How Jesus perceived anybody like this needs to be in the kingdom, because if they oppress their way through impossibility and get up in a tree to find me— sometimes you got to break through all of the stuff and expand your mind so you can see. Jesus loved his He loved you. Uh, in John— watch this— 1:45-47, there's a man called Nathanael.
Y'all write this scripture down, you can read it later.
Nathanael had a lot of opinions.
He was very opinionated.
You ever met people like that? Always got something to say about everything, always got an opinion about the word. That's off, always got an opinion about life and they ain't doing nothing themselves. I always say, if you listen to other people's opinion about what you're trying to do and you receive it, you adopt their lifestyle. So you listen to them, you look at how they living, and they try and tell you something about what you trying to accomplish. How are they gonna tell you to stop trying to think big and do big things that they never did? I got family members that got the opinion about everything, and I tell them quick, look what you done did.
That's right, that's the truth.
You, you have to, you have to put people in their place. True, because they'll watch what they say the next time. I'm telling you, you tell them, look, look, I don't want to hear that because you ain't done nothing but talk about what everybody else doing.
That's right.
But here, just think about the thing. If you read the text, you'll find that initially he had these opinions, but he was open-minded enough to look for the truth. See, even when you don't understand something, you got to have an open mind to seek until you become one with it.
Oh my God, some people, for real now, and I'm done, they so locked into their own way of doing things and they're so sold out to a system. I said systems are not living organisms.
Systems are not alive. They're just ways of doing. They're just rules to follow. What you got to understand is God has a system that's bigger than man's system. And when you tap into his system, this dead system of doing It means nothing. One thing I said to them last night, that what clowns do, they create their own system and watch this, and label it God. Got a big box of God stickers because they've been following behind a system Watching somebody else do something and saying, if I can do that, if they doing it, I can do it.
But you ain't called to do that.
That's right, that's right.
Jesus, you being a clown because you're trying to duplicate what somebody else—
that's what clowns do, they entertain. They're in a place called the circus. Glory to God. Their faith, they have a high makeup. And a lot of times what's happening in church, people are hiding behind false identities. They're clowns. They're putting on a circus act every week to get a crowd, to get likes, to get— watch this— they'll lie to get people to follow them.
Clowns.
Put on a meeting, put on a conference, do a retreat, and they ain't— they don't need to be doing that. Listen, before you have a meeting of any kind, leaders in here, and I believe all of you have meetings, you have retreats, you have things you're called to do— before you do it and bring in people to support you, you need to be one, financially able to take care of the people you bring. The Bible said you should not forget the Levite outside the gate. So when you bring a Levite from outside, you have to honor them and take care of them. And if you go out somewhere, don't let nobody bring you in and they ain't clear that they need to honor you.
That's right, that's right.
Oh, y'all ain't got time.
That's right, that's right.
Because at the end of the day, it's expensive to travel.
That's right.
And you got to be able to take care of that. If you bring somebody from across the country, you need to buy them a ticket.
That's right.
You need to take care of where they stay.
That's right.
And you need to bless them for being there.
That's right.
That's the only right thing to do. I've never brought people in and not took good care of them. We take good care of everybody that comes.
Israel. Right.
When people are doing stuff just to be doing it and they never been fathered, never been led, they don't understand.
So the first— so they need— you need to be financially prepared. But then secondly, the people that that person is ministering to and you need to be spiritually ready to receive them.
That's right. That's right.
If the people ain't spiritually ready to receive, it's a waste of time.
That's right.
That's right.
And everything that person does is going to go way over their head. That person's going to be uncomfortable, and it's, it's not going to be a good thing. So we got to make sure that we break old cycles, old systems.
And dig new wells and expand our mind. Y'all stand up. Done. You can place the offering for the man of God. Glory to God.
Thank you, Jesus.
Hallelujah.
Hallelujah. The word of God.
Yeah, I do that. I'll steal right here. Thank you, Lord. Grab one person by both hands. He's teaching us to pray one for the other. Get one person by both hands. Glory to God.
Hallelujah.
Glory to God.
If you got a prayer language, squeeze that hand and pick that person up in the spirit.
That's what I want Those of you watching us live, if you don't have nobody there with you, just lay hands on yourself. We come into agreement with you right now. Listen, while we're praying in the spirit, I heard you, God. God is expanding our mind. He's enlarging the territory of our mind. Your money is not currency. I heard that, God. God said to tell you your mind is.
Your money is a direct reflection of what's on your mind. Your provision is a direct reflection of what's on your mind. You shall soar in your sphere of influence. Rebound. I declare no more small thinking, no more low living. Your dreams shall live and not die, because as we pray this morning, God is your correcting your mind. He's causing you to think bigger, to dream bigger, to take the limits off.
I bind up every limit.
I bind up every negative thought, all negative thinking. Take the limits off. I cast the devil out of the mind. Break down every stubborn wheel. I send all low-level thinking to the pits of hell. We see big, we dream big, we vision big, we expect big. Larger, larger. Larger, larger. I command your mind to expand. I command your mind to enlarge. As a man thinketh in his mind, so is he. You are what you think. I'll say it again, you are what you think. Open your mind to new dimensions, to new realms of glory, to new locations in the spirit, to new geographies in the realm of glory. Expand your mind beyond this planet, beyond the iniquity of the earth. Yes, you were born in sin and shaped in iniquity. Your mind was created in an iniquity system, but God says today, I brought you into a wealthy mind. I brought you into a free mind. By my blood, I set your mind free. Freedom's in this place now.
You're still watching us online.
Freedom! They rip over the heavens. We think heavenly, we don't think earthly. We set our affection on things above.
Hallelujah!
Not on the things of the earth. And let heaven and his resources, heaven and his power manifest in our life.
You got to be hungry.
You got to be hungry for expanded mind.
We were singing more, more, more, and that takes an expanded in mind to expect more, to desire more.
No more lack, no more fear. I release the anointing of more in this room, the anointing of Jehovah Jireh. The Lord, I'll provide.
Those of you in this room and those of you under the sound of our voice on this live, I just saw you in the chamber of a gun. Tonight you are an expansion bullet. And God has the gun in his hand. His finger is on the trigger. And as we pray through today, if you're watching us, just begin to pray. Just begin to pray in the spirit.
I'm telling you, God's about to pull the trigger and he's about to shoot you into new dimensions.
Power.
He's about to shoot you into new dimensions of glory.
Power.
New dimensions of wealth. Power. He's about to— new dimensions of faith.
Power.
New dimensions of provision.
Power.
New dimension of miracles.
Power.
He said, I'm shooting you now to You got to— I'm shooting you!
Thank you, Jesus!
I hear him say, come and go with me.
To new places.
Come and go with me to new dimensions.
Come and go with me to deeper realms of glory. Come and go with me.
I'm shooting you into another world experience. I'm shooting you into a new worldview. Your perspective will change.
Come and go, come and go, come and go. It's a new way of thinking that's going to produce a new way of living. It's going to produce a new level of glory and power and authority in your life. I'm shielding you. Another place in Jesus' Another praise.
Come on, lift those hands and just go for yourself. Just thank him for this new place. Just thank him for this new dimension.
Oh.
Never want to leave your side. I never want to leave your side. I live like you, I think like you, I move like you.
Keep me in your glory.
I never want to leave this glory for there's victory in this glory.
Never want to leave you, sir. Never want to leave you.
You are worshiping for a new place, for an expanded mind, for higher thoughts that will produce manifested results in your life. It's the glory of Jesus.
Jesus is here.
Jesus is here.
Yes, God. Never want to leave your side. Never want to leave your side. Yes, Lord, thank you for your power. Thank you for your word. Thank you for expanding our—
thank you, Jesus.
Thank you that we think like you. Thank you for firing us out of the chamber into a new dimension of living and thinking. Hallelujah. Listen, don't let the enemy take you back to that mind trap. Walk into freedom that God has released in this place.
And even those watching online, even the sunset spirit is freeing you.
The liberty of God is in this house. The wind of God is blowing through this place, and those of you watching, it's blowing into your life, into your homes, wherever you're watching this. Yes, Lord. The wind of God is in this house.
Yes, Lord.
The wind of God is in this Yes, Jesus, bless his name. Bless the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father. Father, I give you— say this with me, y'all. Say, Heavenly Father, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, I receive the word, I receive And I decree and declare prophetically, I have been shot out of a gun by the Father as a bullet into a new dimension of thinking like him. As I think like him, because I have removed impossibility from my thinking. Say, I believe all things are possible because I believe.
It's in the name of Jesus. I choose to think on larger terms. No small thinking ever again in my life. I think and act like God. Say, in the name of Jesus, I decree and declare I remove all negative things from my life.
So I release my ears from negative voices, and I will listen to those who speak the things from the Spirit. Say, in the name of Jesus, I receive the word.
And because of that, I won't miss my miracle being narrow-minded.
My mind has expanded, and I'm open to however you choose to do life with me. If you believe what you just said, give God praise. Come on, come on, come on, shout about that, shout about that. Hallelujah, hallelujah, glory to God. Want to prepare our hearts to give this morning really quickly— this afternoon. I need you to make a sacrifice. Sacrifice today. Glory to God. Those of you watching, our people that's not here today that's watching, we need you to give in this offering today. Glory to God. The scripture declares, whatsoever man soweth, he reapeth. And I need you today to get your very best sacrifice in the ground. If it's your month to tithe, I need you to tithe. Expand your mind to trust God to help you to live off the 90%. It's a narrow mind that feels like you got to take that little 10% and use it on yourself. Trust him to expand the 90% and make it more than what you would have had stealing the 10%. You have to bring that to God. It belongs to him. The Bible said when you do it, he will open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing you will have room enough to receive. I believe that as we obey God, the windows of heaven are open and God is going to bless our socks off. And on top of your tithe, I'm not going to tell you what to do, but I want you to give your best sacrifice. I need everybody trusting God. Open your mind. And make a sacrifice today. Even those of you online, make a sacrifice. There are two ways you can give online. You go to rhondachurch.com/donate. If someone from the church is on, please type that in the comments. Or you can give via our church's Cash App, which is Rhonda Church, which is the name behind me. Glory to God. That's rhondachurch.com /donate or Cash App, Raw Dog Church. Glory to God. If you want to write a check or give cash in the sanctuary, you're open to do that. Glory to God. A man with the bucket in here today, grab that bucket. I'mma just sit it right here. Glory to God. Listen, I need those of you to give. Some of y'all watch this, watch these lives and these streams, and you never saw Soul, but sow into the anointing. Glory to God. So today, thank you, baby. Glory to God. Glory to God. If you got physical money, you can bring your offering. Our baby is holding it today. Glory to God. Wonderful Jesus, he's a good God. Hallelujah. And we say thank I just want to thank you, you, Lord. Father, bless every gift and every giver. Give it back to them a thousand times more, even as they have given today. And Father, even as your word says, open those windows of heaven, pour them out a blessing they won't have room enough to receive. God, give You love the tither, and you love to reward the tither. I'm a witness. So Father, reward the tither, God. Reward those that sow. And those that desire to tithe and give, God, I'm praying in the name of Jesus, you bless their heart to give. And Father, open up realms of money that they can give abundantly, and that they'll have plenty of money to give all the time. And I decree and declare now in Jesus' name. Bless our online audience, God, in Jesus' name. Every gift that is coming online, bless it in Jesus' name. I'm gonna decree and declare it now.
Amen.
And thanks be to God. Glory to God. Glory to God. If you stop that stream for a minute, on the computer, just stop it. Oh, we thank you, Lord. I just want to thank you, you Lord. You been so good. You been so good.
