Overwhelmed by Overflow! | Dr. Mike Wood, Sr.

All right, a pleasant good evening everyone. I'm going to go ahead and do this. It's like 10:30 in Atlanta, I know, and it's 9:30 here in Chicago where I am. I pray everyone has had a blessed Sunday, but I couldn't, uh, as tired as I am, honestly I've had a very long day. I've been, uh, rolling since Um, literally about 5 o'clock this morning, and, uh, I'm just getting in. Uh, again, today has been very productive, it's been very, uh, effective, and so I'm super excited about all that God is doing. But I wanted to go to sleep, and of course the Holy Spirit had a whole nother plan. And, uh, so of course I'm not my own, I belong to him. So what we're gonna do, glory to God, is, uh, be obedient. But I need you guys tonight to do me a favor, please. And, uh, yes Lord, I need you to share this, glory to God. And I know I'm in a hotel, and so I hate going live in hotels because the one, the Wi-Fi is always totally crap. Glory to— no matter what hotel, it's crap. So, uh, so I'm not going to be long, but you guys do me a favor, I need you to share this. Uh, it's very important, very important. Please share. Uh, I want to drop this word, is in my spirit. How everything— listen to this— is a result. Everything is a result. Uh, if you have a bad marriage, uh, that bad marriage is a result, but that result is from a process or a pattern that produced that result. If you have a good marriage, it's a result that comes from a pattern. If you're in poverty, there That's a result that some circumstances cause. If you're wealthy, that's a result. And so, uh, you know, at the end of the day, it has very little to do with, uh, anything but us practicing the right principles so that we can achieve the results in the kingdom that God has declared for us to achieve. I'm gonna give it a few minutes and I'm gonna jump in this with everything I got. Father, we love you. I'm just gonna let— we're just gonna worship a little bit. Glory to God. We give God praise, we give him honor, we thank him for what he is doing, and we know that beside him there is no other. Praise God. So I want to talk just real quickly tonight. This again, this thing was beating in my belly. Glory to God. And, uh, I, I, I need to sleep again because I've been going since about 4 AM. And, uh, but I think this thing's got stirred up because I started talking to my driver who was driving me back, uh, tonight, and I was sharing with them. I'm like, listen, you know, because they were talking about, you know, some of the things that they were going through. You know, when you're driving people, let me— here, here's a, here's a note for, for people that are operating in helps ministry, or if you're working corporately to drive executives or whatever. You know, one of the things you want to— if, I mean, if you're in a car and you've been assigned to drive people who are ranked or who you're, you know, there to in the capacity to be a driver, it's really not for open conversation. I'm not that kind of guy. So I initiate conversations with people, and because I, I like people for real. A lot of preachers, they don't like people, but I, I— it's amazing. They have to preach people, edify people. But they don't like people. That's a problem. That's a whole nother message for another day. But I started talking to the driver because from the time I got in the car, I sensed the heaviness that was upon them. And so the conversation ended up with me sharing with them because, you know, just this defeated mentality, you know, these negative things about they'll never make it. The way it is now is the way it's going to always be. This This is the mindset, and I was sharing with them one, like I said earlier, everything in your life is a result. So, you know, you really can't blame people, you can't blame your circumstance. You just got to understand that everything that has happened is a process that has been designed to create a result. Now you have to control the narrative of the result you want to see hear me, in your life. And if you don't like the result— and this is what I told them— you got to change what you're doing, because at the end of the day, you're getting the result because of what you are doing. All right, so, um, this thing just started getting strident. I had a long conversation with them, um, because it took us about— it took about, I guess 45 minutes to drive from McCormick Place, uh, out here to Oak Brook where I'm staying, uh, because all of the meetings are downtown at McCormick Place. But nonetheless, um, I spent that time edifying this person because I wanted to see, uh, the very best emerge out of their life. And, um, This thing just got stirred up in my, in my spirit, and God began to share with me. He said, look, I need you to share with my people that I want to overwhelm them with overflow. I don't want them to be defeated. I don't want them to live beneath their privilege another day. Matter of fact, I need you to type that in the comments. Say that with me. Say, it is not God's will Usha, mantiko si, ron di amanse. Type it: it's not God's will that I live beneath my privilege another day. And we're going to talk about what that privilege is in detail tonight. It's your privilege, hear me, to live— I need you to hear this tonight— in overflow. Oh my God, it's your privilege. It's your privilege. And God wants to overwhelm you and I with overflow. I'm declaring for you tonight that you will never have not enough another day. Oh, Shia, me rukushyantatai. Umanse. Yes, God, I declare it in the name of Jesus that you will not have not enough another day. But I decree and declare that every person under the sound of my voice, glory be to God, that you will live in overflow and you will be overwhelmed by the overflow of heaven in spiritual power in spiritual prosperity, in resources. Glory to the name of God. And you will not lack a thing. I declare it over your life tonight. And neither will you have a care. And I declare— oh, she— my God, tonight, that every need will be supplied. Oh my God, in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, I declare, even as you guys that typed it, I declare it come to pass for you even now. I decree that this thing is being established in your life even now. I declare you said out of your mouth, glory to God, that it's not his will, it's not God's will that I live beneath my privilege. Glory to God, it's not. He wants you to be overwhelmed. Hear me. By overflow. Overflow is being saturated in the blessings of God. Oh, hi. Yes, yes, yes, yes. I'm gonna say it again. Overflow is being saturated in the blessing of God. Oh, it's being overwhelmed By the goodness of God. I'm gonna say that again. Overflow. I want you to hear this, and I'm gonna show you in a minute. Overflow. Listen, it's being saturated in the blessing. What is the blessing? The scripture declares that the blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow to it. Wait a minute, Michael Woods, what are you saying, sir? What are you talking about, man? Listen, the blessing of the Lord— let me tell you what the blessing of the Lord is. The blessing of the Lord is the endowment upon the believer. Listen to this. Oh my God, of the Holy Ghost. Glory to God. It's when God endows you as a believer with his Spirit himself living inside of you. And the Holy Spirit shows up in your life as a governor— watch this— of kingdom affairs in your life. Let me give you an example in the natural. If a king of another country, if he ventures out and creates a colony of his country, what he does is he sends a governor into the country, all right, to ensure that that country receives all of the rights and benefits, all of the resources, all— and that they abide by all of the laws that come from the home kingdom. That's what the governor does. In the United States, we're structured a little different. We have a president that appoints governors in states. Watch this, that ensures that the state abides by the Constitution. Now hear me, hear me, family, hear me tonight. Thank y'all for being up with me on this Sunday night and, and getting involved in my Holy Ghost rant. Glory to God. Listen, I want you to understand, the Holy Spirit showed up in your life to govern the kingdom affairs of your life, to make sure the resources, the power, the authority, the ability, the wealth of your King— hear me— is manifested. Glory to God! That's the blessing. And God wants you to be overwhelmed with his goodness. God, family, hear me. God is good. He's good, man. I'm doing— he's so good. He's so amazing. And beside him there is no other. Glory to God. All right, let's get into this. So here we go. First thing I want to give you, I want to give you a few things that are enemies to overflow. And you know, these are 4 things I'm gonna give you. I'm not gonna harp on them, but I want you to think about them tonight, okay? Listen, I want you to think about it because maybe you're not experiencing overflow. Hear me, Lord. I wish that y'all know I'm normally in a studio, I'm normally with professional cameras, and so I'm looking at this and I'm like, I really don't like how this looks, but I'm being obedient. Okay, so y'all stay with me, man. Y'all stay with me. Y'all stay with me. Listen here, for enemies to overflow And maybe one of these enemies is stopping you from overflowing, from walking in the fullness of God's plan for your life and experiencing his goodness at the maximized level. So these are enemies. So if you want to see overflow, no matter what I say after this, if you got one of these enemies in your life You're gonna have to defeat them so you can experience overflow. Are you ready? The first one is sin. Oh, sin is harmesia in Greek, and it means to miss the mark. It means to come short. And we'll watch this. I know what all of the grace teaching We said God loves me, he's gonna give me grace, and he will. If you sin, we have an advocate with the Father, he'll forgive you. But what it does— what, what sin does, it separates you from God. And that separation creates a— watch this— a breach of trust. Not necessarily— hear me— your trust toward God Because if you trust them enough to repent and get back in right standing, then, you know, you can fix where you fall in and keep it moving. But the breach of trust that happens when there is sin in our life— hear me— God looks at your life and said, I cannot trust them with this abundance. With this blessing that's beyond measure, because all they're gonna do is take it and miss the mark. Oh my God, oh my God, hear me. And again, I— when I'm talking about sin, I'm not just talking about— guys, y'all excuse me, we're just having a fireside chat tonight. Listen, I'm not just talking about adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbian, all that. No, I'm talking about missing the mark. I want you to think tonight, I'm talking about coming short of God's glory. All unrighteousness is sin, right? So you need to check the unrighteousness in your life, become disciplined. Watch this, so you don't hinder overflow. Oh, okay, just type it in the comments: I got to get the sin out of my life. Hebrew writer said, lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily besets you from the kingdom of God. The old preacher took that and took kingdom to mean just when we go to heaven and get in the kingdom. No, if you're carrying weight and sin, you're not gonna have the kingdom superimposed. Somebody scared to write that. Listen, I'm telling you, just check yourself. Glory to God. Because those things you're constantly repenting of, glory to God, those things you're constantly saying to God you're sorry for. You, you got to get that stuff under subjection so that overflow can be released, so that the breach of trust that sin creates between you and your Father. Okay, so let me give you an example. If you have children like I do, you know as a parent that your child can do something that creates a breach of trust hear me, where you're slow to do certain things. Oh my God, for them, because they created that breach of trust because they missed the mark. And it's only when they get back in right standing and are consistent that you can— oh my God, that you can trust them and release— hear me— what they actually need. So you got to deal with the sin. That's enemy number one. Enemy number two is doubt. You will never be overwhelmed by overflow. You will never experience the saturation of the blessing of God on your life when you operate in doubt. Oh my God, oh my God, when you operate in doubt when you have no ability to believe God. Oh, that's a problem. That's a problem. Listen, when you believe more in yourself— hear me— than you do God, that's a whole issue. Hear me. So what I need you to do Listen, guys, let's get the doubt out. Lord, I believe, but help my unbelief. So that, so that says you could have strong belief in some areas and have unbelief in some areas, and that unbelief creates another breach of trust that causes you to miss the overwhelming blessing of God. Can I talk like this at 11 o'clock at night on the East Coast? Glory to God. 10 o'clock here in the Midwest. Glory to God. You got to get the doubt out your life. Number 3, I gotta go. You got to get fear out of your life. Because fear and doubt are inept to faith. It's going to take faith to operate in overflow. What do you mean inept? Which means they can't even be in the same space. You can't have fear and faith at the same time. Fear is dehelia in Greek. It's a cowardice from fright. And you got to check your life for the things that actually frighten you. Does success frighten you? Hear me, I mean for real. Does success frighten you? Are you afraid of more? Does risk frighten you? Stepping out on faith and trusting God for things you cannot see. For faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Ooh, can you walk by faith and not by sight? And if you are afraid to do that, it will hinder overflow. And this one, you know, the best example I could see in my head— thank you, Lord— is a water hose that's tied up to the hydrant. And there have been times I have had a water hose in my hand and the water just flowing, flowing, flowing, flowing. And if you keep it on, whatever is flowing on, eventually it's gonna overflow, right? But there have been times where there was a knot in the water hose, and so the water was just— some of you, live or by replay, are living life in God because of fear, and that fear is a knot in your flow. And so you get blessings sporadically, every now and then, every other season. Watch this, when overflow should be consistent because it's God's plan, it's God's will. His next enemy, slothfulness. Oh, slothfulness is a dis— inclination to work or to exert yourself. It means to be lazy. It means to be— oh my God— extremely inaggressive. You expect everything to be given to you, handed to you. And slothfulness hinders overflow. I know people that have amazing ideas. I've talked to them. I'm like, wow, that's a great idea. And then it comes to reality. They'll never do that because they're slothful. They're, they're not inclined to work. Hey, why my wife just got on? I miss my wife. I'm out of town, she's at home. Glory to God. So you got to get rid of the slothfulness. Number 5, this is the enemy to overflow. Is selfishness. See, that takes you back to number 1, really, because selfishness is the source of all sin. Ah, oh my God, oh my God, I feel like running, I feel like running. You know, nothing is all about you. So when God blesses you with overflowing abundance, it's so you could be a blessing to other people. All right, so I just want to give you two non-negotiable life drivers that must be in your life in order for you to get overwhelmed by overflow. You got to embrace these drivers, just two, and I'm out. All right, the first one is you have to live— come on, listen to me, guys. Y'all ready? A principle-driven life. Principle, principle, principle. Correct principles— hear this— are like compasses. They always will point us in the right direction if we know how to use them. Hear this, the word of God is full of principles that are designed to point us in the right direction. See, like a compass, if we follow it correctly, we'll never get lost, we'll never be confused, we'll never be— watch this— fooled by conflicting voices and morality and values, because we have a compass that's aligned with the word of God. Oh, we, we have a compass that's aligned according to what God has said to us. You must live a principle-driven life. So again, principles are rules, they're beliefs, they're ideas that guide you. I'm gonna say that again. Principles are rules, beliefs, ideas that guide you. Rules, beliefs, ideas that guide you. You know, your principles will guide you to overflow, but you got to follow the principle, and the word is full of them. Glory to God. And you have to become a person that's a student of principles and continuing to look for principles. Let's go to Hebrews 6:1. I'm gonna read it, guys. Hebrews 6:1, it says, therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ. So God says, I want you to grow up from elementary pediatric things, and I want you to learn some deeper principle. Oh boy, I want to challenge you to go deeper. Type in the comments, I gotta go deeper, I gotta go deeper, I gotta go deeper, I gotta go deeper. He says, I want you to grow up from the pediatric teachings about Christ. See, we hang around the elementary stuff, you know. All we want is a good bump and a good shout, and that's all we worried about is we— if we can get a good praise break in. But, but we gotta go deeper. What we want to do is have good church, which again, I'm not disdaining that, but we got to go from these elementary Because guess what? Good church is elementary. It ought to be a given that I have good church, that the glory come, that I worship, that people get healed, people get delivered. But God says there's some things I want to teach you about showing up in the world. Glory to the name of God. About being an impact to the world. Do you realize this, that every person that shows up in your space They should leave your space feeling like, one, if I'm around them, I can grow. Two, if I'm around them, I am valued. If people leave your presence worse than they walked in, there's something wrong. But when you dive deep into principle and you start displaying the principles of scripture in the world, you become a magnet for people. Watch this, that don't even follow scripture. Oh my God, I've been in Chicago 2 days, uh, just 2. I got here yesterday, started yesterday, uh, had a great day yesterday, great day today. But I have impacted so many people, and not because I'm just boisterous, uh, trying to run up on people, but I just impact people because I'm a magnet. People come to me and start talking to me, and they grow when they in my presence for 2 minutes. I make sure of that. I want them to feel loved. I want them to feel valued because it opens up another conversation, because I know I have principle in me that if I pass it on to them, they're gonna be blessed. So you got to live a principle-driven life so you can learn principles to help you tap into overflow. So you won't be so religious that all you want is what religious folk want, when the reality is a principle-driven mind that is driven by kingdom principle has the mindset to show up in the world and make an impact. Okay, I'm excited about what you do at church. What are you doing in the marketplace? What are you doing in the municipality? I'm excited about what you do in ministry, but, but there are 3 other entities you ought to be impacting: marketplace, municipality, which is government. Marketplace is where products are bought and sold, and the mill is places where products are created. I don't get how we could call ourselves— watch this— Watch this. Children of the Creator, and we never create anything. Oh boy, oh boy. I, I hope y'all don't leave. I hope you don't leave. Oh, that's what I'm telling you. Yeah, that's right, everybody. That's right, Pastor Jasper, Grace, Zion. You gotta— we gotta go deeper because we're not called just to make an impact in ministry. And I know that's what's happening in my particular, particular spiritual organization, Rodder Family of Churches. God has us in a season where we're learning how to impact every sector of this world, and we're, we're learning that it's not just about us being under the roof of the church. I am a change agent, and my design is set up to change humans in a way that they go out and change the environment that they live in. We got to show up in the world, y'all. And when you get that mentality and you live by those principles— watch this— overflow starts looking for you. I dare you declare that tonight. Type it in the comments, say it out your mouth. Say, overflow is looking for me. Yeah, say it. Say, overflow is looking for me. I'm gonna declare for myself, overflow is looking for me. Overflow is looking for me. I live a principle-driven life and overflow is looking for me. And as a matter of fact, I shall be over— overwhelmed by overflow. It's looking for you. It's looking, it's looking for you. Glory to God. Hallelujah. So he says, therefore, leaving it beyond— let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death and of faith in God. In other words, he's saying, look, stop missing the mark. Start repenting for missing the mark over stuff. Glory to the name of God. Hallelujah, hallelujah. He says, I want you to— hallelujah— get that stuff right because it's killing you. It leads to death. You may not be physically dead, but you're killing your finances, you're killing your family. Oh my God, you're killing your legacy when you close your mind. Do you realize— watch this— A closed mind— listen to me, guys— it's the most expensive thing in the world. Oh God, oh God, oh God. Oh, Shia, makila tabasi. Listen, let me tell you something. You have parachute on your back. That works jump out of an airplane if nobody taught you how to open it, or if you— or if you learned how to open it and you don't, the parachute has no value, and there's gonna be a great cost paid at the end of that fall. Can I tell you something? You have a wealth of things inside of you. You can't keep it closed. God is there. You got to open up to new principles so he can teach you. Because listen, you close your mind to new information. You close your mind. Glory to the— oh, wake up and think, people. Wake up and think. Open your mind and let, let Let— watch this— revelation knowledge about how you can position yourself for overflow flow in you so you can make a huge impact. I'm almost through, guys. God, I got to get through. Oh God, I should be asleep, man. Oh my God, my call time is 7:30 in the morning. I should be asleep, but I'm sharing this. So you got to live a principle a purpose-driven life. And I got on here to share this briefly. Here's the last one. Secondly, and more importantly, y'all ready? You gotta live a presence-driven life. Presence-driven. And I'm closing with this. Psalm 16:11 says, and I'm reading it, for thou will show me the path of life. For in thy presence is fullness of joy, and at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Psalmist— the psalmist David says, he says, God, you're gonna show me. Let me just announce that over you right now. God's about to open your eyes and show you something about life, to show you something about being overwhelmed, to show you something about wealth and prosperity that you— I mean, I'm not talking about the stuff where you throw $100 over your back and expect heaven to drop. I'm talking about really understanding principles. And the Holy Spirit is going to lead you into spaces where you can learn Oh my God, God bless you, Apostle Smith. Good to see you. I hadn't seen you in a while, woman of God. Good to see you. Glory to God. God's gonna pour some principles in you. Oh my God, today that's going to show you the path of life. Wait a minute, the word path is orach in Hebrew, and it means the design So your life has a design, your life has a plan for overflow, to be overwhelmed, to— watch this— to be propelled into spaces and places and to be set at tables that you never thought you would sit at. Are you hearing me? I hope y'all hearing this. You got to live a presence-driven life. He says, because I want you to have pleasure. Listen to that. Forevermore. That's not— that's— that doesn't start when you get to heaven. That's supposed to start now. So pleasure is born— listen to this— out of presence. See, we've had it backwards. We've tried to create pleasure out of person, whether it's our own person or some other person. We've used person— first, second, or third person— to create pleasure. And when you create pleasure from person, that pleasure is temporary. It doesn't last. For some people, only 2 minutes. Oh my God, today. Oh my God, I'm serious, man. When you listen— whoa, glory to God! We create pleasure from person, and God says no. We have to start creating pleasure from presence. Oh my God, which means I gotta spend time. Oh my God, in the presence of God. And I'm just talking about when you go to church. I'm telling you, you need to spend some prime time with God every single day and get in his presence. I told you, he lives in you. So every— and the Bible said the kingdom of God is within us. The reason the kingdom is within us, because the King is within us. Us. You cannot have a kingdom without a king. There's no way. So the King is there and all of his resources. How do I access the kingdom? I gotta get in the presence. How do I get in the presence? I got to spend some time in worship. I gotta spend some time on my face and crying out to him. Oh my God. And when I do that, he opens the gate to the kingdom and it gives me access. Woo! Now watch how access works. I hear you, Holy Spirit, I hear you. He says, tell you, you have access to me, but do I have access to you? Oh my God. You have access to me, but do I have access to you? That's the million-dollar question tonight. God says you got access to me. Now the question becomes, how are you using that access? So I spent some time today, uh, in the same room with Al Roker. Y'all know Al Roker, right? Oh, he's an older gentleman now, funny as all get out, uh, but being in the same room with him having access to his presence, having access to his ears. How do you use that access? Glory to God means everything to how you create value in that kind of connection. Watch this. How you using your access to God? I mean, for real, is it to feel deep and wonderful, to look good to— oh my God— to impress people on how deep you are, how much you speak in tongues, how much power you got. No, God says you got access to me. What if you had access to— glory to the name of God— a bank vault that had $100 million in it? How are you going to use that access? Watch this. Some of you will show up with a duffel bag, which would be the wrong answer because you're not maximizing your access. If somebody gave you access to a vault with 100— hear me— with $100 million in it, You don't show up to the vault with— y'all ain't hearing me, glory to God— a duffel bag. No, you show up to the vault with a 25-foot U-Haul truck and 10 men to haul every piece of money out of the vault because you're going to maximize your access. You coming with a duffel bag, they're not letting you back in. So watch this, you got access to God. How are you showing up? You got to show up empty. So every— oh God, so every time you go into his presence, he can fill you up. Oh God, oh my God, I feel the anointing here. Jesus Christ. See, I, I didn't want to do this, and I went back and forth with the Holy Spirit because I was tired. Because once I tap into the anointing, it's going to be hard when I get off of here to go to sleep because I'm gonna have to come down. That's it, Apostle, maximize the access. Yes, Lord, that's it, Grace, maximize the access. You got to do it, you got to do it. Glory to God. All right, so, so here we go. Watch this. I want you to remember these principles. I'm just going to give them to you and I'm out. Every presence-driven moment, every presence-filled moment— listen to this, watch this— it brings terror to the powers of darkness. I'm gonna say that again. Every presence-filled moment of your life brings terror to the power of darkness. Why? Because the powers of darkness understand the presence of God. Watch this. The power of darkness emanated from the presence was ejected from the presence. And guess what? When the enemy sees that you are a presence-driven person and you're filled with the presence of God, he's terrified because he knows you have the authority to kick him out of— oh my God. Your mind, your life, your finances, your family, your business, your— oh my God, you got authority. He's terrified because he has no stakehold in your life anymore. Good God. Okay, here we go, another principle. Y'all ready for this one? I'm gonna say it. Yes, oh God, I'm gonna say it. Holy Spirit being filled— listen— with the Holy Spirit, watch this, is not evidenced by speaking in tongues, is evidenced by being full. Oh God, Holy Spirit, why you doing this to me today? Night. I want to sleep. Oh my God, let me say that again because somebody missed something. I, I hear the religious demon already. What you talking about, Apostle? I got the Holy Ghost and the mighty born fire with the evidence of speaking in tongues. That's only one evidence. It's not evidence by speaking in tongues, it's evidence hear me, by being full. See, watch this. I have a lot of shoes. Matter of fact, my wife is about to kick me out of the house because I have so many shoes, right? And I've never bought a pair of shoes and went in the store and said, you know what, you know, I love this Ferragamo shoe, just give me the tongue. No, it— one, it costs too much money. One, the whole shoe looks good. I need the entire shoe, right? Okay, I need the whole shoe. Why would you show up in the kingdom and in God— hear me— and say, just give me the tongue? I love speaking in tongues. I do it every single day as much as I can, right? But my being full is evidenced by me being full of God. Hallelujah! Ah, yes Lord, that's right Judy. Oh, glory to God! Somebody just type in the comments, I'm full. Hallelujah, hallelujah! Just type, I'm full, I'm full, I'm full. See, watch this. Isaiah said it like this. He said, we are trees of righteousness. Listen to this, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. Hallelujah! So God planted us, we're his trees. Glory to God. And we bring glory to him through our life. But watch this, Matthew picked it up and said, but the tree is known by the fruit it bears. Whether the tree be good or bad is known, Matthew 11, by the fruit it bears. Hear me, guys. Oh my God, Lord have mercy. Whoa! And then Galatians said, but the fruit of the Spirit is love, is joy, is peace, is kindness, is meekness, is temperance, is long-suffering, is goodness. And against such there is no law. So when I'm full of the Spirit, the fruit flows out of me. Glory to God. Hallelujah. The evidence of us being full is fruit, is power. Glory to God. Watch this, is being overwhelmed by overflow. That's what we're talking about tonight, is seeing the fruit of the King— hear me— flow out of you. Almost done, guys. Almost done. Here we go. Y'all ready for this? So I'm just giving you a few principles and I'm closing. So a presence-driven life— hear me now, listen carefully to what I'm about to say— starts with your tongue. I didn't say tongues. A presence-driven life starts with your tongue saying what the Father says. It releases— listen to this— a creative nature and presence into every situation that brings his influence that ultimately causes change. So the reason it starts with your mouth— you got to learn how to speak what he says. You gotta learn— oh, Shantaka— you gotta learn how to say what God is saying. See, some of us have too much negativity flowing off our tongue. Glory to God. You gotta say what he says. And when you do that, it releases his presence, it releases his authority, it releases his ability and influence on that situation. I gotta go, go, I gotta go, guys. And it brings about immediate change, man. I can stay in this all night. Good God Almighty. See, some of you are not experiencing overflow because you keep saying you're broke. You keep saying— like I was talking to my driver tonight, glory to God— oh, you keep saying you're sick. You keep saying your children are no good and rebellious and bad. You keep speaking these things out of your mouth. Say what the Father says. Death and life is in the power of your tongue. The scripture says you should speak those things that are not as though they were. Let's say what he say. Mm, good God Almighty. Almost done, y'all. We need God to teach us how to carry his presence boldly. We spend too much time— watch this— trying to reduce the truth of who God is in us in fear of offending people. Somebody asked me today, Because again, I'm here doing marketplace stuff. And so, you know, when I'm, when I'm operating in this dimension as an apostle in the marketplace, I'm anointed doing what I do. And so again, people are coming to me, you know, because they hear me talk, they, they see me doing what I'm doing, and they want to know how. Somebody asked me today, how were you able to get in this door? Why are you here? Who do you know? Whatever. I said, I know the King. I say what he says. I'm in a venue this week with 20,000+ marketplace people, and my very presence is making an impact in this culture. And even beyond this place, it's going to continue to make an impact because of what we're doing. And because of what will be carried away from this place. This— guys, can I tell you something? You better stop— ishkaya tabansi— you better stop speaking what people have defined you to be. See, you bought into what people said you are and not what the king says you are. I gotta get out of here, man. I gotta get out of here. Good God from Zion. I gotta go, I gotta go. But so just say that with me. Say, Lord— and I'm going, I'm going, I got one more point after this. Say, Lord, show me. Say it again. Say, show me how to carry your presence boldly and never reduce your truth in fear of offending people. I— listen, if God blesses you, you need to make sure you give him glory for that and that people can see the blessing on your life. If you're anointed, let people experience that. Don't work. Listen, you too worried about whether you're gonna offend somebody because you blessed. I had a pastor friend of mine tell me one time, man, I just bought a new car, but I ain't driving my car to church because they gonna not give if I drive this car to church. I'm like, man, let me say— I said, two things are wrong with that picture. Number one, you got a job, you work every day, you can buy you a new car. Number 2, you serve God and he's able to bless you with a new car, and you need to use as a testimony to share with them how God blessed you with that car. You shouldn't have to hide a car in fear that you're going to offend them. Stop hiding the blessings on your life. Stop— oh my God— turning down your fire to make other people feel comfortable. Mm-mm, mm-mm. No, you got to be who God called you to be. I gotta go, man. Good God. So here's the last one, and this one right here, man. Wow. Oh my God, this right here. So Y'all ready for it? The measure— listen to this— to which you are aware that you need him. Hear this. The measure to which you are aware that you need him— hear this— is usually the measure. Are you ready? We become aware of them. Okay, I'm gonna say it one more time. The measure to which we are aware that we need God— hear this— is usually the very measure that makes us aware of him. See, here's the problem. Good God. Lord, I love you. Most people don't tap into this place of being overwhelmed by overflow because again, they're trying to produce it themselves and they're not aware that this thing that God wants to release is bigger than your followers on social media. It's bigger than the likes and clicks you get. It's bigger than your money in the bank. It's bigger than your degree. The reality is you need an awareness of how profound Abba is. And how much he wants to help you. Once you get that awareness— and so I want you tonight, as you leave this live, we're getting ready to go— measure your awareness. Hear me, guys, measure your awareness. I mean, and be honest with yourself. Nobody's around but you and God. I mean, honestly, outside of religion, I'm talking about in your personal walk, your daily interaction. How aware are you of God? I want you to measure that, because you should be aware of him at all times and have clarity that there's nothing you can do without him. So you need to make that thing so deep that you don't function without God. See, this is about the presence and hosting him. It's like this: if I had a dove on my shoulder, right? Good example, because the Holy Spirit is a is symbolized in many contextual settings as a dove. So I had a dove on my shoulder. I'm— and I'm aware that that dove is there, right? I'm aware, aware he's there. Then the measure that I wear— watch this— it's going to change how I move, even how I breathe, because I'm aware that I got a dove, a physical real dove on my shoulder. And I know if one false move he'll fly away. But if I need him there, I'm going to be still, and I'm going to trust that my stillness will keep him in place. What are you saying? You think of the Holy Spirit, the presence, that's that dove on your shoulder. You need to be so intense Hear me, that you don't make any false move. Good God Almighty, because you don't want him to depart. You don't want him to walk out. You know you need his assistance. See, that's what being presence-driven is about. It's about hosting him. Oh God. We need clarity, guys, of who we are and who he is so we can live in overflow. I'm done. Father, I thank you for this teaching. May it rest heavy on your people, live or by replay. May they be overwhelmed by overflow. May they defeat the enemies of overflow that we discussed in the beginning, which is sin, doubt, fear, slothfulness, selfishness. May they defeat those enemies, God, in the name of Jesus. Father, I declare that they will live a presence-driven life and a principle-driven life, and that they will move into overflow, and that the presence of God will saturate them, and that it will be literally a part of every aspect of their world.
