Radah Church - 11/5/2020 - Thursday Night Service - “Dangers of Strife, PT 6” - Dr. Mike Woods, Sr.

The recording captures a Thursday night worship service at Radah Church led by Dr. Mike Woods, Sr. The sermon opens with an extended prayer of praise, thanksgiving, and petitions for divine presence, healing, revival in Atlanta, and protection from COVID‑19. The core teaching focuses on the "danger of strife" – how discord, disobedience, and the works of the flesh block God’s blessings, hinder hearing God, and cause personal and communal loss. Biblical passages (Genesis 13, Proverbs 17, Hebrews 12, Galatians 5, etc.) are used to illustrate that strife arises from disobedience, selfishness, and sin, and that peace, liberty, and love are the antidotes. A detailed catalogue of the "works of the flesh" (adultery, fornication, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, etc.) is presented, each defined and linked to spiritual damage. The preacher urges listeners to pursue peace, be led by the Holy Spirit, reject the flesh, and live in freedom. Practical exhortations follow: repentance, prayer for healing, a call for revival in the city and nation, a request for financial giving (Cash App and online), and an invitation to upcoming Sunday services. The tone is worshipful, persuasive, and instructional, with an urgent, hopeful sentiment toward overcoming strife and experiencing God’s power.

Praise God. Father, we give you praise. We thank you. We glorify you. We thank you for another opportunity to come into your house. We give your name the praise. We give your name the glory. Father, we declare tonight that beside you there is no other. It's in you we live. It's in you we move. It's in you we have our being. Father, we thank you for life, health, and strength. We recognize tonight, God, that it was you that woke us up even this morning. And out of all the things that took place today, you covered us, you kept us. And Father, you've been our protector, our guard, and we praise you for that tonight. Father, we don't take for granted the opportunity to worship you, the opportunity to glorify you. And Father, we thank you that you are indeed our Father. You're Abba Father. You're concerned about us. Your grace is sufficient for us. And so, Father, in the name of Jesus, we're asking you tonight, Lord, to visit us, speak to us, God, through your word. God, do something unusual in this place tonight. Do something man cannot do. Saturate the walls, charge the atmosphere. And let your Shekinah glory be revealed, even those that are watching us live tonight. Father, I decree and declare that by your power they will be transformed and liberated by your word. Father, we recognize that with everything that's going on in our world today, that you are Lord and that you're King and you're our God, and we depend solely upon you. For everything, God. You're Jehovah Jireh, you're the Lord our provision. So Father, we thank you, God, that we don't lack a thing, neither do we have a care, but everything we need is found indeed in you. And we glorify you and we magnify you, we lift you up, God, we extol your great name. Beside you there is no other. No other God like you, God. You're the only wise God. You're the only wise King, and we trust your guidance. We trust your leadership, for your word tells us, God, as many as are led by the Spirit of God, that they are the sons of God. So, Father, we lend our ear to your voice. We lend our spirit to your direction. And God, where you lead, we'll follow, because we're your sons, we're your family. And God, we trust you, God. You will not lead us astray. You will not lead us into anything, God, that doesn't please you. Thank you, God, that our ways please you, God. And I thank you that because our ways please you, we find favor with you, in the mighty name of Jesus. Your word says the steps of a good man, they are ordered by God. So I thank you tonight for ordering our steps, for orchestrating our way in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you that because you order our steps, Father, we will not miss it to the left nor to the right, but we will be accurate in everything we do. God, our trust is in you. In thee do we put our trust. Some trust in chariots, others in horses, but Lord, tonight we remember the name of the Lord our God. You are risen, hallelujah, and you are alive. And God, and that we don't even care, God, what others may think about our service toward you. We are the light of the world. We are a city that sits on the hill that cannot be hid. So Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray for every person under the sound of my voice, in this room and outside of this room, God, those that are watching us live. I decree and declare that those that are in love with you, they will become your light, God, that when men look upon them, they will see you. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we write your name on our heart and we say you are Lord of our heart. We are the altar of earth, we are your tabernacle, we are your temple. And God, we say live in us and do not leave, God. Thank you, Father. Dwell in us, dwell in us, in the name of Jesus. God, we pray for our city. We pray, God, in the name of Jesus, that revival would come to the city called Atlanta, Georgia, and the state called Georgia. We decree and declare that revival will sweep through our city, God, And men will be born again. Men will be filled with the Holy Ghost. Men will fall in love with you all over again. Send revival, God. Not a series of services, but a move of the Spirit that will bring transformation into the life of our city, our state, and even our nation, God. But I'm asking you, God, to allow our state called Georgia, our city called Atlanta, in particular this city called Forest Park, which is a part of the metropolitan area of Atlanta. I decree and declare that revival will start among us in this church, that men will be healed, men will be delivered, men will be set free, and saints that already know you will cause Because to be deeper in love with you, we thank you for it, God, that we will know you for real like never before. We thank you for prosperity. We thank you for increase. For every person under the sound of my voice, I decree and declare that we don't lack one thing, neither do we have a care, but all of our needs are met according to your riches. According to your riches in glory. We do not lack one thing, but everything we need is already provided. Hey, hallelujah! It's already provided. It's already provided. It's already provided. It's already provided. Our going out is blessed. Our coming in is blessed. We're the head and not the tail. We are lenders and not borrowers. We are above and not beneath. Our enemies coming us one way, but they'll flee seven ways. We thank you, God, for the victory now in the mighty name of Jesus. Father, I'm asking you, Lord, to eradicate coronavirus. I don't buy into the media frenzy. That we're gonna be worse in January than we are now, or than we were in the beginning. Father, I rebuke this disease in the name of Jesus. As I do on a daily basis, I rebuke it now in Jesus' name. And I command coronavirus to go back to the pits of hell from which it emerged. And I decree and declare our nation will be healed. For you said in your word, God, if my people who are called by my name would simply humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, you would hear from heaven and you would heal our land. God, heal our land tonight. I rebuke this disease. You said whatever I bind on earth, you would bind it in heaven. I believe your word. I bind up COVID-19. In the mighty name of Jesus. And I thank you that healing and deliverance will be our portion. I rebuke pestilence, I rebuke death, and I decree and declare our land is healed by the stripes of Jesus. I declare that no weapon formed against us can prosper. We are victorious. We are overcomers. We have authority. Yes, over the enemy. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, we bless you for victory now. Our trust is not in any politician. We trust you tonight, God. We believe that you will use the system of government to bring glory to your name. And whoever wins this election, we decree and declare now that their heart is in your hand. We decree and declare now that they will submit to your will, your way, your plan, that they will be subject to be obedient to the kingdom law of heaven. And we declare it in the name of Jesus. We bless you, God. That we stand victorious. We're not subject to the world's economy, but we're under the authority of a supernatural kingdom of God economy in the mighty name of Jesus. And the wealth of heaven is our wealth, and whatever you have, we have, and you have declared God that you will cause us to live in the realm of super abundance, and you would give us supernatural supply. So we're not afraid of the economy of the world. We align ourselves with your will, with your way, with your plan, God, with your desires for us. We align ourselves and we trust you. Somebody watching us live tonight, you need to lift your hands and worship. You need to lift your hands and give God glory and come subject to his authority. Prayer still works. The Bible is still right. And God, we trust your word. We trust your word. We are prisoners to your word. And whatever your book says We will follow and we will obey in the mighty name of Jesus. Briketa pasukuta baya. We bind up every system and structure that's not like you. We tread upon every scorpion system, briska taba niku, taba sotu, reba kati, that has lined itself with the systematic plans of Satan. But we decree and declare that the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, he rules in heaven and in earth. and we are his conduit of power. We are his conduit of the anointing that destroys yokes, that removes burden. Show, talk, show, talk, show, talk. The devil is a liar. Satan, the Lord rebuke you. The blood of Jesus Christ be against you. Cast the devil out of every mind. Break down every stubborn will. We say yes, Lord. Yes to your will. Yes to your plan. Yes to your desires. Yes, we will obey. Yes, we will obey. Yes, we will obey. Oto rebaka. I release healing. Oh God, I release healing and deliverance in the mighty name of Jesus. And I declare, God, that with your stripes we are healed, in the mighty name of Jesus. Reba, we declare your glory. We declare your glory in this place, in our city, in this state, in our nation. We declare the glory of God. Let your glory be seen Let your glory be seen. Let your glory be seen. Let your glory be seen. In the mighty name of Jesus. Let your glory be seen. Let your glory be seen. Let the kavod of God, the weight, the splendor, the wealth of our King be seen in the lives of your people. We can do nothing without you, God. If you're watching live tonight, I dare you, stretch forth your hand. The healing power of God is flowing wherever you are. With his stripes, you are healed. With his stripes, you are Healed in the name of Jesus. Be made whole, woman. Be made whole, man. Healing and deliverance is the children's bread. I rebuke cancer. I rebuke tuberculosis. I rebuke heart disease. Yeah, shukush katelaya. I rebuke diabetes. Bri kosku ruta. I rebuke lupus. Be made whole. I rebuke pain in the joints. I rebuke bloodstream diseases, AIDS and HIV, contaminated blood. I command purification. Be made whole tonight, right now, wherever you are. I rebuke COVID-19. I command you to be healed in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus is the vaccine. Lique bru. Thank you, God. In the mighty name of Jesus. Father, we thank you for tonight, God. Let us experience the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of the Holy Spirit. Do something unusual in this place for us here and those watching. Do something man cannot do. Saturate the walls, charge the atmosphere. Let your glory, your Shekinah glory, let it be seen. In the name of Jesus, we bless you tonight as we plunge into the heart of your word. Speak to us, God, and we will be made whole. We will be made different. In Jesus' mighty name, amen. And thank God. Come on, just worship him. Those of you watching us live, please share this video. Please share this video. Oh, Rabbi Shatta, right where you are, worship him right where you are. Give him glory. What? Where you are, exalt him. We glorify your name, Jesus. God, we welcome you here. We welcome you here. Yes, Jesus. You're welcome, God. You're welcome in this place. Come on, right where you are, welcome him where you are. Worship is the only guarantee that God is with you. The Bible say he inhabits the praises of his people. I dare you, right where you are, begin to admonish him, begin to extol him, begin to reconcile heaven and earth with your worship. We give you the glory, God. We give you the glory, God. We exalt your name. We give you all the glory. You're wonderful and mighty. Hallelujah. How we love the Lord. We bless your high name. Glory to God. Well, we want to welcome you into our Thursday night worship encounter. Glory to God. And I want to challenge those of you that are watching— I gotta feel the Holy Spirit right now. I want you to share this. Glory to the name of God. I believe that God has something to say to us tonight. We're continuing, praise the name of God, our series of teachings. Glory to God. On the spirit of discord and strife, the danger of discord. And on Sunday, I was kind of in the middle of— glory to God— sharing with you some of the dangers of discord, and we bridged out of it. Glory to God. So we're going to kind of pick up where we were. Glory to God. We talked about— hallelujah— on last week how God wants to bless us, but we got to get along. Amen. Amen. Say that with me. Say, God wants to bless us, but we must get along. And we looked at the scripture and saw why that was important. Amen. And then we talked— we saw also how where there is unity, there's blessing and anointing. Say that with me. Say, where there's unity, there's blessing and anointing. And God knows we want the blessing of the Lord, right? Yes. Which is the favor of God, which is the kindness of God. Listen, whenever God's— when you start talking about the blessing of God, you're talking about the kind Spirit of God showing favor to you. Yes, glory to God. Touch yourself and say, Lord bless me. Hallelujah. So I want to start today, I want to go to Genesis 13, and I want to just continue to scroll through this in scripture. Glory to God. And I just really believe again that God wants his people to get on one accord. Glory to God. Amen. Praise God. Now, if you understand this entire 13th chapter of Genesis, I'm not going to read a lot of verses here, but Genesis 13, praise God, it deals with the story of Abraham when he had to separate from Lot. It is in Genesis 13 that God gives Abraham a word concerning his future. But I want you to be clear about something: that word did not come until he separated himself from Lot. One, because Lot was an act of disobedience. First of all, whenever you're operating in disobedience, you automatically are moving in the spirit of strife. Because you got strife with God. Yeah, because God expects— he anticipates us to obey. Yeah, touch yourself and say, God wants me to obey. Say it again. Say, God wants me to obey. See, because when— again, when you're moving in disobedience, which is the opposite of obedience, which means you're rebelling against God, you're going to have strife. And you're gonna tie up God's hands to move, one, in the timing he wants to move in. See, disobedience often creates delays. There's a lot of things in my life, glory to God, when I look back, that would have happened a lot faster for me, but because I was living in a realm of disobedience, I created delays. And a lot of times when you live in this— sometimes you could be saying, okay, I'm walking holy and I'm doing what God tell me to do. But disobedience is sin in this effect. Yes, it's coming short. Sin is coming short of the glory of God. Amen. All unrighteousness is sin. You may not be committing adultery, lying, stealing, or cussing— the big sins that they call them. But if you ain't walking in your purpose, if you listen, if you're not clear about your purpose and walking in it, that's disobedience. If you're not doing what God designed you to do in the earth, you're moving in disobedience. So it will behoove us to find out why we're here. So let's read this, uh, Genesis 13:7. The Bible says, and there was strife between the herdmen of Abram's cattle and the herdmen of Lot's cattle. And the Canaanite and the Pezzarite dwelled then in the land. Now watch this. Abram took Lot with him, who was his relative, his cousin. God told him to get into a land you know not of and take none of your kinsmen with you. Now I understand he liked Lot, but there's some people you just cannot take into the promise of God with you, because God understands that they're going to do this right here, they're going to bring strife. And just as sure as the world, Abraham's men brought strife. Are y'all hearing me? They brought a problem. They start having dissension between each other. And the reality here is, is that when you got strife, it's hard to have clarity about anything. Strife gives you— oh my God— tension in your hearing. I'll say it again: tension in your hearing. Which means you can't hear God when you got strife. It's hard because you're so concentrated on the strife and what you're going through. That's why you can't let things that happen in your life get you down and cause you to have strife, because you need your ear to God's ear where you can hear. When things arise that are filled with strife, instead of reacting— because watch this, nothing is ever as big as it first seems. I'm gonna say that one more time because some of, some of us choose to live in moments that are not as big as they appear. As soon as it happened, it looked like it's huge and you just gonna die because that happened. Well, where's your faith? Where's your trust in God? Abram got Lot out of the camp so he could get clarity. Yes, glory to God. All right, let's keep moving. So to understand this, let me let you in on something. Abraham was extremely rich. I'm gonna say it again, Abraham was extremely rich, and he was so blessed he understood that in order for me to maintain my riches and my blessings, I gotta keep strife out of here. Yeah. So I promise you, he didn't have no problem, as much as he liked Lot, getting him out so that he can maintain the flow of God's blessings in his life. So you can't hold on to stuff that God want to take. Some people hold on to things that God wants. He's trying to get it and you won't give it to him. And let me tell you something, when you don't give it to him, he'll come get it. Yeah, and he'll take it from you. And when he takes it from you, you got to understand, if God took it, if God removed it, you can live without it. Just shout that, say, I can live without it. God knows how to do it. You're holding on to something that you think you need, and really you really need to be obeying God. And when God takes— okay, I've been trying to tell you, you, you, you are, you are not focusing on what I told you to do, but you're doing what you want to do. So I'm gonna take this. Yeah, so you'll focus. Listen, you can't be praying to be wealthy and rich and you focus on doing something that ain't gonna ever make you rich. Y'all not talking. You doing it, you ain't gonna never get rich doing that. You'll spend 20 years doing it and never get rich. You may be stable because you don't have to make no sacrifices to move into wealth. Okay, that's a whole nother conversation. Let me keep moving. So let me give you an example of this. There was a Bible college— this is a true story— The word of the Lord came to the owner of this college in a dream saying, you got strife among your staff. If you do not get the strife out of your school, you're going to lose the whole school. Watch this. The owner of the college ignored the warning. And guess what happened? The entire college burned down. There's a true story. The entire Bible college burned to the ground. Business over because they kept the strife in and didn't get it out. God took it. Now y'all hearing me? You gotta examine your life of strife. Listen, how about this? You can be very spiritual as an individual in your house. You pray all the time, you read the Bible. Hear me, you speak in tongues, you worship, you got music going in your house, you deep. Glory to God. But you never— watch this— see any blessings in the household. All you see is disasters. All you see is tension and stress and problems. What's wrong with that? It's strife. Yeah, because it don't matter how deep you— and I talked about this Sunday, how anointed you appear— if you got strife, you can't receive the blessing of God nor the anointing. Okay, go to Proverbs 17. Let's go. I remember in my church in Mississippi, there was a couple, and I was speaking to this couple about some things that were going on in their house— constantly arguing, constantly raising their voice in front of the kids, constantly, uh, verbally abusing each other. And they were sitting in my office and they were saying to me, why we just can't ever get ahead, why we can't get blessed, why can't we do this and do that. And I said, it's simple, y'all need to bring some peace in your house. All that strife in your house is robbing you of the blessing of God. They obeyed what I told them. They went back and started practicing peace. Start practicing good communication and not fighting and yelling, and God started blessing them. Matter of fact, somebody gave them a brand new car, just gave them a car with no— brand new, they didn't have to pay nothing, just drive. Matter of fact, somebody started giving them washers and dryers and different things they needed for their house because they start moving in peace. Husband got a better job. Strife— really, when you release strife, blessings will be released. Are y'all hearing me? Look at Proverbs 17:1. It says, a house full of sacrifices with strife is not pleasing to the Lord. So again, you could be in that house with all kind of sacrifices, giving, tithing, But if it's full of strife, God's not pleased with that. He wants us to move in peace. Amen. So basically what I'm trying to show you tonight is that strife really destroys. I told y'all last week, I, I said and watched the whole church be destroyed by strife. I've seen it. I know what it can do. It will hinder family life. It will hinder a business. It will tear things up. Let me show you how we're supposed to react to it and how we're supposed to deal with it. Go to Hebrews 12. Let's go. Let's look at the Bible tonight, y'all. Ain't gonna be long. I just sound like it. Hebrews 12. I might as well teach while I'm here. Glory Hebrews 12. Hebrews 12:14. Here's what the Bible says. It says, follow peace. Wait, what'd you say, Michael? What it said— if you're gonna follow something, you know, if you're a follower, that means whatever you're following is what? A leader. So basically he's saying here, let peace be your leader. Now watch this, that means in every situation, instead of acting ratchet and retaliating— are y'all hearing me? You need to act with peace. Now sometimes, now I'm just going to tell you that Some people need ratchet because they ain't gonna respond to peace correctly. Y'all hear me? But at the end of the day, your first option should be to pursue peace. Are you hearing me? The word— watch this— the word follow here is dioko in Greek, which means— watch this— to run swiftly after. So God says, I want you to run swiftly after peace, because let me tell you something, as a believer, there are some things that's going to happen that's going to make you want to retaliate with violence, retaliate with cussing, retaliate with strife, with loud talking. Listen, ain't none of us forgot how to fight. Amen. Ain't none of us forgot how to cuss. Glory to God. You say what you even got. Amen. Unless you're like Lady Felicia, just grew up in the church, ain't never even heard a cuss word. Glory to God. Listen, at the end of the day, for the most of us, we've heard cussing, we've been around it, we ain't forgot. Amen. We don't— we done had to get in a fight before. And you ain't forgot, but God says your first course of action when you are offended is to run hastily, quickly toward peace. Watch this. Peace. This word peace, oh my God, it's such a powerful word. It's a feminine word. It's Irene or Cyrene is what we get the name actually Irene It's amazing that that is a feminine word because at the end of the day, females I have found to be the most unpeaceful people that they— yeah, Lord have mercy. Glory to God. When it comes down to pushing, most of them, you push them the wrong way. Glory to God. Okay, anyway, yeah, I mean, I'm in a room full of women. Glory to God. But at the end of the day, obviously God saw something I didn't, because this word implicates prosperity. It implicates— watch this— serenity. It implicates detail, which means a, a woman is more attention to details and things than a man ears in most cases. Are y'all hearing me? A woman is more meticulous. And watch this, most of the time this word— I don't know how they— I said, I'm trying to figure out how the Greeks came up with this because it also means quietness. Lord have mercy. I remember going to, um, the doctor, and this is a true story, I got my ears checked. And the doctor said, man, your ears— my doctor said, your ears are phenomenal. You can hear, you can hear, you can hear high decibels, but it's only— it's one sound that you get off balance, your equilibrium, that you hear when you hear it in the test. He said that's the same decibel of a woman's voice. I said, what are you saying? Man, he said, he said, women get you out of balance when they coming at you the wrong way. I'm like, yeah, you're about right about that. But that, that's what this word means. It means quietness. It means— so he's saying go after the quiet place, go after the peaceful resolve, quickly go after it. If I'm at peace with who? All men. Not just some of them, everybody. So that means, watch it, they're talking about if Trump gets this race, it's going to be civil unrest. And it may be, you know, they're talking about having a civil war. The devil is alive. Matter of fact, I'm buying that now in the name of Jesus. Bible said, whatsoever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. I bind civil war. Then there are others in Trump camp saying if Biden gets the office, they're gonna go and raid the White House and bodily remove him. That's ridiculous. I'd like to see somebody try that. That— they won't make it past the gate. Glory to God, there'll be so many M16s fired at them. Glory to God, before you know, you see dead people all over the White House lawn. This is what's going to happen because they're not going to let anybody come in here and do that to anybody that takes that office. So we bind up all that foolishness in the name of Jesus. And if somebody— and we should not allow politics to separate us as a nation. We're all here together, right? So we should live in peace. He said, follow peace with all men— black men, white men, Chinese men, Asian men, Hindu men, Indian men, Muslim men, Catholic men, follow peace with everybody. Now that's a tall order because, you know, I love my sons. And let me use Michael Jr. for example. Let's say Michael Jr. is in this church praying to God, calling on the name of Jesus, giving him his whole heart, and then somebody comes through the door and shoots him dead. Now for me, following peace at that point, that's a problem. Yeah, for me to reconcile this text with how I feel. Yeah, but what we have to learn to do is understand that God's nevertheless is always greater than our want to do. So we want to take somebody out for doing something to us. If we put it in the hands of God, God's vengeance is going to be greater than ours on any day. Now it's going to take me— it's going to take the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost, 12 white men, and everybody else to get me to follow peace, because that's a hard thing. Because I'm gonna want to seek revenge. Are y'all hearing me? I will hope somebody love me enough to want to feel the same way. He said, follow peace with all men. Watch this, and I gotta stop right here. I can't even jump over this. And holiness— hadi osmos in Greek— holiness. This is something we don't talk about anymore. Holiness without— no man shall see the Lord. Oh my God. So that tells me right there, you can't just live an impure life and think you're going to see the Lord. Now let me put that in context and in time. The word see— oh my God, this is a power word. The word see there is optonomai, where we get optics, optical, the eye. Optonomai, it deals with seeing him for real with your eyes. So let me put that in time. God said no man will be able to see the hand of God, to see the power of God work in their life if they're moving in a life of impurity. So while God saves the sinner when he repents, purity produces power. Purity is a necessity for strong relationship. The religious can repent and do what they want to do. Are y'all hearing me? Yeah. Oh, y'all not saying much. And, and feel no remorse behind it. But the reality here is, Poland is without— it's, it's the text, no man shall see the Lord. Definitely when the last trumpet sound, no man will not see the Lord. If he has sin in his life. Okay, verse 15: Looking diligently, hear me, lest any man fail of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. Amen. So watch this, we should be moving in peace, not strife. We should not have a root of bitterness that cause us to live in strife. And God says behind this, many will be defiled. Have mercy. If the church is not an example of how to get along how to be happy for each other, how to love each other. Where else will people be able to get that model? And God said that we defiled and moving in strife in here, the world is in trouble. Oh my God. So we need to say peace, peace, not strife. That's just— that's really easy. Peace, not strife. So we need to be moving in peace and love. We also need to be moving in faith and love. Go to Galatians 5. Galatians 5. Hallelujah! Glory to God! Thank you, Jesus! Galatians 5:13. Most people go to Galatians 5, they They go right to verse 22 and start reading the fruit of the Spirit. But the fruit of the Spirit don't even matter if you don't understand these verses. Watch this. He said, for brethren, verse 13, you have been called into liberty. Touch yourself, say, I'm called to liberty. Which means you're not here on this planet to be bound by strife in trouble and frustration and worry and anxiety. You're called to be free. You're called to be living a free life in the Lord Jesus Christ. Matter of fact, the scripture even told us, he who the Son sets free is free indeed. Hallelujah! So we're called to be free. And if you're saying you're saved and you're bound, guess what? You're not really saved, my friends. Because you can't be saved and bound. If you're saved, you're, you're called to liberty. Say that with me. Say, I am free. Watch this. He said, only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh. In other words, the Bible is saying here, you're free really to do what you want to do because you, you got liberty. But don't use it for the occasion of the flesh. He said, just because you can, don't. Amen. Don't buy into the flesh and walk in strife. Buy into the flesh and do the things that pertain to the flesh. He said, but by love— I love this— serve one another. Wait, that word love there is agape in Greek. In his unconditional love. He said we need to love each other without condition. We need to learn to forgive one another and love each other based on how God loves us. Sometimes that's hard because people make it hard, but that's the challenge of God over strife. We have to be able to follow love and say, hey, as the Church of God, we're gonna move in love. And if you did it, we're going to forgive you. If you offended us, we're going to forgive you, because that's what God would do. Oh boy, I know that's hard sometimes, y'all, because there are people that make you want to slap the stew out of them. Are you hearing me? You, you find scripture for wanting to beat them down. What's up? I find my hands to do do it with all my might and choke them. Glory to God. But the devil is a liar. That's not what we're going to do. We're called to love. Hallelujah. Watch this, verse 14: For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Verse 5: But if you bite and devour one another— you talking about strife, Oh my God, bite! What was they doing in Galatia? Where they do that at, biting each other? I can't even imagine having to preach in Galatia and telling folks, look, y'all need to stop biting each other. They literally was— this ain't a euphemism, this is not allegoric, this is actually literal. They were biting each other. They were fighting and biting like Mike Tyson biting Holyfield's ear off. Y'all not talking. Glory to God. Mike Tyson went in the ring with a lot of strife. You know you got some strife, you go to bite somebody. Oh my God, that's terrible. And you know, well Okay, and devouring one another. Come on, man, devouring means destroying, killing. Got a lot of that in the world, right? God says no, this is not what we should be. He said, take heed that you be not consumed one or another. In other words, you're committing genocide, you're killing each other. Let's take that out of the physical and let's look at it in the realm of the spirit. We cannot even— we don't need to be found guilty of biting each other and dividing one another, even in a spiritual sense, with words. You know, you can destroy somebody with your words. One of my dear friends, and I love her with my whole heart, I saw on the internet yesterday where her husband her ex-husband, I guess, is going to be now, was sitting down just destroying this woman on a gossip talk show on YouTube, lying, saying all these things. And she's a full-time minister, great prophet, great preacher. He's a bishop, and he's taking his strife to the gossip media because he knows He's gonna lose her because the things that he had done in his flesh. But you talk about devouring, you talking about biting. That's a dangerous thing. Are you hearing me? Glory to God. Consuming, killing each other. Yes, the church is notorious for destroying his own. That's not what we're called to do. Are you hearing me now? We're not called to bring destruction to each other. Glory to God. Hallelujah. I'll say it again. We're not called to bring destruction to each other. Glory to God. We're called to love each other. The Bible said, if even if you see your brother overtaken in a fault, you that are spiritual— I guess that's the problem. These people are not spiritual. They could not be spiritual. The word spiritual, pneumatikos in Greek there, which means mature spiritual behavior, as if Jesus would behave. So they're not mature. They're not spiritual people, because a mature Christian will see another Christian fall and pick them up. Yeah, not trying to kill them. Paul gives us the remedy, verse 16. He said, this I say then, walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. The moment we get out of the spirit, the lust of the flesh becomes easy to fulfill. It becomes so— listen, as long as you stay— watch it— the word walk there means to be deported into, in Greek. Not just walking, not just walking. It means to literally be deported into and take on the Spirit's desires. He said if you do that, because now you're surrounded by everything that the Holy Spirit desires, you ain't gonna fulfill what your flesh want. God knows the flesh has a mind of its own. There are things it wants. But if you stay in the Spirit and keep yourself guarded by the Spirit You won't feel the lust of the flesh because it's lusting. It wants what it wants. Hallelujah. Verse 17 said, for the flesh lusteth against the spirit. See, you can't have good success in spiritual living if you are— hallelujah— subject to the desires of the flesh, because there's a war in you. Because watch this, you're a trichotomy, you're a tripartite being. You're made of body, which is bios life, your biological life. You're made of soul, which is psuche life, your psychological life. And you're made of spirit, which is your life source, zoe life. And so there's a war between your soul and your spirit. Because when you got saved, your spirit got saved. Amen. I'm gonna say it again, your spirit got saved, not your flesh. That's why your flesh still want what it want. Are y'all hearing me? Because your flesh is not saved, your spirit is. That's why the Bible said be strengthened in the inner man. The inner man is your soul. Get strong in your soul so you can fight the desires, fight the lust, so that the innermost man, which is spirit, would have control. See, sex don't start in your body, it starts in your mind. Y'all not saying nothing here. Matter of fact, by the time you get into bed, sex is almost over. Y'all ain't got to say it quicker for more other people than some, but at the end of the day, it's pretty much over by the time you get to the bed because you've played out the whole scenario in your head. It starts in the mind. Are y'all hearing me? He said the flesh lusts against the spirit and the spirit against the flesh. That's why you got to keep feeding that spirit with the word, feeding that spirit in prayer, feeding that spirit in worship, so that that spirit is strong. So when it can't— so that your soul and your body don't stand a chance of having fulfillment because you've strengthened that spiritual man. You got to watch your gaze, watch your ear gate. Hallelujah. What you listen to, it, it, it, it— what you listen to will be greatly influential in what you perform. You gotta be careful what kind of music you— if you ain't strong enough to listen, I ain't against no kind of music, but you need to be strong enough to listen to it. If you can't listen to, uh, certain music, certain songs that are that gets you in the mood, you don't even listen to them if they still get you in the mood. If you listen to Luther and they make you want to make a call, you don't need to turn it off. Y'all hear me? You listen to Teddy Pentecostal— I'm dating myself, glory to Jesus. I'm old. I'm Teddy Pentecostal, Luther. Listen, you listening to them people Boys to men. No, they ain't boys, they just men now. You listening to that and it gets you in the mood, you start thinking about your boo, you need to turn it off. Y'all hear me? Because you're letting something in the gate that's not saved, because that part of you ain't saved. And they start ministering to those needs. I'm almost done. Hallelujah. I already been teaching too long. I ain't nowhere near through, but I'm gonna stop. Watch it. He says, and these are contrary one to the other, so that ye cannot do the things that you would. See, the enemy's desire is to get you to yield to the desires of So you cannot do the things you ought to be doing to advance the kingdom of God. What does that look like, y'all? There's strife in your being. When there's a battle, you got strife going on in your trichotomy, and you can't advance for the things in the kingdom of God. Oh my God, watch this, verse 18. But if you be led of the Spirit, you are not under the law. So again, if you allow the Spirit to be your leader and you allow the Holy Ghost to be in control, you don't have to worry about being subject to law because the Holy Spirit is going to lead you into everything that's right. He'll never lead you wrong. Hallelujah! Thank God for that. Look at verse 19. I'm getting ready to close. I'm not gonna— I got plenty more scripture tonight I want to give you, but I'm gonna stop now. The works of the flesh are manifest, which means they're very much alive, and this is how they come forth out of your life. Which of these? Adultery, What's this? Adultery is not just sexual unfaithfulness to a married person. It's not just that. Adultery means to be satisfied by something that doesn't belong to you. God called Israel an adulterous nation because they were satisfied by God's protocols and orders that God didn't ordain. Whenever your life is in a place where you're being satisfied by a job, by classes, by people that God didn't call you to be satisfied by, that's adultery, my friends. He said, watch this, fornication. Can I tell you something? Fornication is not just penetration. Yeah, I'll say that again. Fornication is not just penetration. Fornication is consideration. Jesus said if any man lusts on a woman, he's already— and looks on her with lust, he's already slept with her in his heart. It's consideration. Do you not know that the Greek word for fornication is porne? That's the root of the word pornograph. Pornography involves no penetration, but it's consideration. It's considering the activities that you're pornographically viewing. Are y'all hearing me? Oh my God. And you're going down the road in the work of the flesh. Oh my God. Uncleanness, that's the work of the flesh. Just won't clean up your house. Stuff everywhere. It's not godly to be nasty. Oh no, they— are y'all hearing me? Godly folk ought to bathe. Oh, y'all hear that? Listen, I, I know some Africans that say, oh, it is ungodly to put on deodorant and to use soap with scent. No, man, I need you to understand you're walking— you're causing strife to my nose right now. And I need you, sir, to go and find you some Sure. Tussy. I don't— yeah, I don't care what you get. Y'all don't see— I'm dating myself again. Y'all don't know nothing about Tussy. Tussy. See, when you grew up like me, Tussy was that deodorant in a jar and you dip your finger in it and you put it— wasn't no roll-on. Glory to God. Listen, Tussy. If you couldn't afford nothing else, you can afford Tussy. I think right now, 50 cents a jar. Listen, Mr. African, it's not godly to be unclean. Babe, sir, listen, I said, my oldest culture, you just should smell good of the earth. No, sir, you stink. Are y'all hearing me? Oh, y'all, y'all listen. Watch this. Lasciviousness. Yeah, this is terrible. These are works of the flesh. That's unbridled lust. It is excess lust. Is— watch this— it's lust without boundaries. Let me give you an example. It's Fornicating in a car. The joker ain't even got enough class to take you to a hotel. You pulling stuff to the side, getting it. Y'all not talking. That's the spirit of lasciviousness. I know that was graphic, but I needed to show you what it looks like. That's nasty. If you gonna do it, at least make him take you to a hotel. You're worth that. Somebody watching me, nobody in here got them problems. Somebody watching me, glory to God. Let him take you to the hotel. You still don't need to be in there, but don't be lascivious. Oh my God. All right, let me— let's keep it moving. Idolatry, because I got to just get through all these. I could teach on every one of these. Idolatry means that you set up an idol and you worship it in priority over God. It don't necessarily have to be a God, it can be a situation. If you focusing more on the problem you're in than God, you're moving in idolatry. If you focus on your bills and your problems and the fact that you lost your job more than you're focusing on what God can do for you, you're moving in idolatry. Because there's nothing bigger than God. Hallelujah! How about— okay, work of the flesh: witchcraft. Uh-oh. Now, now, I want to tell y'all something. Witchcraft is not just candle burning and sprinkling dust. It's not just that. It's a work of the flesh. Matter of fact, the Greek word is pharmakeia. This is where we get words like pharmacy, drugs, anything that controls the mind, alters the state. You can— a person can be working witchcraft on you because they— you're so in love with them that you have no mind. You can— you control by what they do. Whatever they say. What was the movie? Uh, Coming to America. Whatever you like, whatever you like. What kind of food do you have? Whatever you like. That's crazy. That— nobody's called to live that way. That's pharmakeia. That's witchcraft. How about I'm gonna control my husband. I want this mink coat, so I'm gonna give him something real good. And then after I give it to him and put it on him, I'm gonna ask for this coat. You, you're using sex to get what you want because women have the power of sex. When the woman uses her body to get what she want out of man, she's operating in witchcraft. A lot of single women do it, uh, in the world. They'll use a man, their body. They prostitutes, but they'll use their body to get their bills paid. That ain't God. Are y'all hearing me? That ain't God. I'm gonna let him come on, tighten me up, and when he tighten me up, I'm gonna I'm gonna get this light bill money. Switchcraft. Because if you could get the light bill money, you should be able to ask for it if the relationship is there without sex. Ah Lord. Pharmakeia, pharmacy. Watch this. Pharmakeia deals with— watch this— control that poisons, that poisons you to death because it leads you to sin. And sin is death because you're separated from God. That's witchcraft, y'all. Watch this. It's, it's taking pills to go to sleep because you can't get to sleep. That, that pill has a spirit on it that's controlling. You should be able to put your head on a pillow, go to sleep. Take a pill to wake up? I gotta take this to get alive. There are people take pills, go to bed, pills, get up out the bed. Something wrong with that. Switchcraft. And they really don't need it. Your mind is so powerful. You put your mind to work, you can do everything you need to do. Okay, let's keep moving. Hatred, it's a work of the flesh. You see what white people do to Black people in the society, that's the work of the flesh. Vice versa, when you see Black people hating white people, it's a work of the flesh. God never called us to return hatred for hatred, an eye for an eye. He didn't tell us to do that. Yeah, Gloria. Seditions. Oh my God, dihastasia. That word is a powerful word because it's division. Just because you're mad don't mean you need to spill your poison on everybody else and make them mad and divide everybody else. That's what usually happens when somebody leaves the church. They mad, got a reason to believe, so they try to get— cause dissension. Why are you still there? I'm gone. Well, that's your problem. That's between you and God. But just because you mad, don't bring this sin. You're, you're operating in the flesh. Oh boy, anytime you cause division, it's the flesh. God have mercy. I remember God— this is a true story— Mississippi, this guy, Lord have mercy, rest his soul, he died, but he was a prophet, so-called. And let me show you how people can use prophecy to work witchcraft. They'll say God said what God had not said to control the actions of people. Let me tell you what this devil did. Lord rest his soul, he did. I hope you went to heaven. I hope you have enough sense to repent before he died, because at the end of the day, he said to a couple— he was staying in their house. First of all, Prophet, I'm gonna need you to get your own house. That's what I'm gonna need you to do first. Boy, you don't prophesy to me, you ain't got nowhere to live. Let's prophesy you a house. Let's do that first. Prophet, I mean, he's supposed to be a national prophet living with people for 20 years and 10— man, something's wrong with that. No stability. Watch this. He prophesies to this couple, says to the husband I was in prayer and the Lord said for you to stop sleeping with your wife. You need to start sleeping in another room. She is contaminating your spirit. Guess what this dumb husband did? Stopped sleeping with his wife because this idiot said the Lord said. And guess what happened? The prophet started sleeping with the husband. That's crazy. That ain't funny, Mom. That's crazy. That's nuts. Let me tell you something sad, because this man used the Lord to bring deception. Sedition. Watch this. Uh, emulations, wrath, strife. I ain't got time to go through all these. I have to teach all these another time. Heresies, envying, which is the root of strife, jealousy. It's a work of the flesh. Murder, work of the flesh. Drunkenness. But those that think You can get drunk and be saved. You— it's a work of the flesh. It's a work of the flesh. Reveling is always arguing, always want to fight, and such like. Of which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, they that do these things shall not inherit the basilia, the kingdom, the authority, the rule. Watch this, the resources of God. Listen, if it means I gotta give up something my flesh want to make sure I can have an inheritance— and this ain't talking about dying, going to heaven, just talking about the kingdom superimposing itself on me on the here and now. I want the wealth of heaven. I want the health of heaven. I want to inherit the power of heaven. He said them that do these things won't have that. Y'all stand up. Hallelujah! If you're still watching us God don't want you to have strife with him. Granted, all of us have made mistakes. I hold up both of my feet and hands. I've made tons of mistakes. There are things I still work on every day in my life now, but here's the reality: I'm cognizant of them so I can try to fix them because I never want to miss God. Listen, saints, do not take God for granted. Don't think all this grace teaching and you could just do what you want to do. Mishandling grace will cause you to miss the kingdom on earth. God wants to give you the kingdom. He wants his power to be real in your Liar. Let's pray. Father, in Jesus' name, I thank you for this word tonight, even for every person in this room and every person outside the room watching us now. I decree and declare, Lord, that we bring the works of the flesh under subjection. Father, we're honest and we take an introspective tonight, and anything in us that's not like you, that's causing strife between us and you, that's causing strife between us and others. We're asking you tonight, Lord, to move it, take it away in the mighty name of Jesus. And we give you glory for it now. We thank you that what's to come will be better than what has been. We decree and declare, God, that in the past where we've blown it, we won't blow it in those areas anymore. I decree now that the Spirit of the Living God is making us strong, and we will be led of the Spirit and not our flesh. We will lean not to our own understanding. Yes, God. But in all our ways, we will acknowledge you, and you, God, will direct our path. Yes, God. And we praise you for that tonight. Yes, God. In Jesus' name. In Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. And thank God. Thank God. I dare you, praise God for victory right now. Those that are watching us in this room, praise God for victory. Over strife. Glory to God. Listen, we're going to prepare our hearts to give. Those that are watching us, we need you to give tonight. Glory to the name of God. We need you to make a sacrifice and give in this offering. Praise the name of the Lord. There are two ways you can give to Radah Church. One, you can give via Cash App. The Cash App for our church is Radah Church. It's the money sign, Radah Church, R-A-D-A-H Church.
