Responsible Kingdom Citizenship | Apostle Mike Woods, Sr. | Radah Church (Atlanta) | 16 July 23

The video opens with a vibrant worship segment where multiple speakers lead the congregation in repetitive praise, blessing, and worship of God. After the worship, Apostle Michael Lyris Woods delivers a sermon titled “Responsible Kingdom Citizenship.” He explains that believers hold a dual citizenship: their primary citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20) and they are also citizens of God’s earthly kingdom. This citizenship carries responsibilities, chiefly financial stewardship. Woods emphasizes that responsible kingdom citizens must pay their civil taxes and give tithes and offerings (first fruits) to God, citing Malachi 3:8‑10 and 1 Corinthians 15:45. He warns that neglecting these duties brings curses, poverty, and loss of divine blessings, while faithful giving unlocks “floodgates of heaven” and prosperity. Woods outlines practical steps: prioritize the kingdom, tithe on gross income, give before the government takes its share, and view giving as a display of the king’s power. He calls the audience to commit to these practices, linking obedience to spiritual authority, kingdom building, and personal prosperity. The sermon intermixes biblical references, personal anecdotes, and urgent exhortations, concluding with a call to action for the congregation to become truly responsible kingdom citizens.

Ah, you're so, so, so, so worthy. You're worthy of the glory. You're worthy of the honor. Yes, you are, God. Worthy of the power. Worthy to be praised. Worthy to be praised. Worthy I need you a few moments just to think about what something he's done that you know he did that nobody else could do. Worship him for his worth. What is he— what is he worth to you?
Open your mouth and worship.
But I don't know about nobody else. You've been better to me than I've been to myself, and I'm used You worthy of my worship, the glory, so worthy to be praised, to be praised.
Come on, give him the fruit of your lips.
Come on, open up your mouth. We come to worship and give him glory today. I know it started a little late, but I tell you, just open your mouth and bless his name. I don't know about you, but I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord. Some people struggle coming to the church, struggle to give God praise, but if it had not been for the Lord that was on my side I don't know where I would be. I'd be crazy. I'd have lost my mind. I'd be sick and broke and busted.
But thanks be to God, I give him the glory.
I love him. Bless him. You can't live without him. I love you. I love you. We love you.
Oh God, lifted. Was love, but nothing else could help.
Yes, Lord.
Love lifted me high. Love lifted me.
Love.
Lifting me higher than— sorry, when nothing else— it was—
yes, Lord, thank you, Lord.
Old mother would say, John 3:16. Hiya, John 3:16. Yeah, when nothing else could help.
Worship him in song. Folk would say that's religious. It's folk in the world, cuz they have—
just wrote those songs out of random with him in the dark mind. I know nothing else could Help. Thank you.
It's not a euphemistic religious activity. Product of your laws and the power of Christ is dual citizenship. We talked about supernatural restoration. We talked about the— please go back and watch the citizenship Citizenship is something responsible. Scriptures as a main text for this. I'm not going to even get to the end of teaching, but I already know about it, right? Kingdom Citizenship Part 8. And then under that, I want you to write becoming a responsible. Some of you may look at me and say, Apostle, I'm an adult, I'm grown. I— because it's done just applying to Kingdom citizens, members of churches. They're gifted people on you and you fall.
There are people who can fly. Y'all not talking for real.
They can levitate, all kind of stuff, talking tongues all day, but extremely irresponsible kingdom citizens.
Because again, this message has been about showing up in the world, not about you showing up at church, church at a service. Good kingdom citizens when it comes to showing is being to leadership.
So you're responsible to make yourself to—
I got Con Daddy to do the trash goes out. He shouldn't have the responsibility to take the trash out, taking out the trash on Thursday. But y'all, we got abuse, but it is discipline. That's gonna be almost If our net responsibility— other expect, because he don't run in any house, they are called into response. So whenever he's with me, he got responsible part of him. Responsibility means, again, you being says it, it's right, even when it seems like— and ability— bond to the up him as a responsible say. That's right. To definitions to say we are, we respond to, especially when you running around. Listen, every pastor, apostle needs an apostle. Oh God. So you renegade at home, you're irresponsible because you refuse. Come on, Prophet that's at home watching this, if I'm your apostle from afar, you need to at least be me, because I can't be your pastor from afar if you're not connected through right covenant. Okay, so you need to find somewhere where you can give. Uh, many people want privilege.
Many Christians want to be called the kingdom citizen, a Christian. Engage or activate the king's desire on your behalf. That's right. Most men, they want to get— man, I'm glad. Yeah.
And not the responsibility to keep his— because there's got to be a testimony that he has the privilege. Say, I got it.
Give you 3 vital elements of substratum of kingdom citizens.
The first, to have clarity. I'm not going to teach— watch the message, it's time to come out the closet.
You were created to solve.
Stop barking people about money problems.
Solve your Y'all, money, money problems.
Guess what?
You have no solutions. You haven't talked to each other. So it's the problem for them. Say alignment.
That means becoming congruent, or it's true.
It's something because people right now, people in this room right now, going to you because they owe them to I got apostles.
If it's no self apostle, God's prophet.
Now I'm being about to—
because the day is coming, an apostle, a father, that, that DNA test, 99.9%, 99.9% in the realm of the spirit, your spiritual DNA says you come in your room are a sign that you're a baby and you have no faith.
You need—
well, oh, oh, oh, oh, I said I'm gonna stand up today. I'm not gonna sit down because I want us to know right now the Bible said an adulterous generation looks for a sign.
Unfaithful, adulterous, unfaithful, lazy generation.
Immature, looking for signs. But when you're mature, you don't need signs.
Those are for unbelievers. All signs lead somewhere.
You go out here, that is a stop sign right up the street. It's leading you to stop.
I need someone— you, sir, that ain't supposed to be pastor.
People to your disorder, and all you're doing is breeding more misalignment.
I know this ain't popular, and I don't care if you like it or not, because my responsibility is to tell you the truth.
You— some folk bubble, gonna get— thou art not an apostle. If you're watching this now, please receive it because it makes everything easier going forward.
'Cause my responsibility is nothing but truth. Or in my face, please. I need to look at my eyes.
Receive this now. You have no— I have to say it this way because you're gonna keep on until you deceive yourself.
Okay, somebody said, what side of the bed Apostle woke up on today? Glory to God.
Like, man, third, cuz just because you said that don't mean—
I'mma show you the secrets to living effectively. Say effectively.
Effectively. Say God wants me in church. To live effectively. So the secret to that is prioritizing. Priority is simply the principal thing. And for every citizen, boom, is— say, I'm a citizen of the kingdom— is the top priority.
Glory to God. Junior, you did— I had to make sure that was just for that moment. Kingdom. Others that show that, cuz in case y'all think I'm making this—
we both have— he's saying through Jesus have access. So there's the title of apostle, that they're the only people that really have access to the Father. Matter of fact, most of them with the title have the access and have accessed him.
We won't even go there today.
Lord have mercy.
God have mercy.
They didn't have good learned behavior, so they duplicated and mimicked what other apostles do. Oh boy. And do you realize you could sit up in church so long up and study how the Holy Spirit moves, and you can learn how to jump into that move.
Holy Spirit people and never— no access through Jesus.
I got access. Says, therefore you are no— and foreigners, but watch this— citizens, members of God's— talking about the saints that are in glory with God now. Those that are in heaven with God have access to the same God and same citizenship as those who have already went to heaven, which means you ain't got to go to heaven to be a citizen.
You ain't got to go to heaven to have access to the Father.
All right, all right, you already got it.
Say, I already have access to the Father.
Father. Say, I am a fellow citizen.
I am a fellow citizen.
Verse 20 says, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus Christ himself as the cornerstone, the chief cornerstone.
So the found of our citizenship— watch this— in the earth is built on the foundation of real apostles and real prophets.
Watch this. Who will teach you this and display this in example? Watch this. Not just again how to show up at church. And I told y'all before, my aim as an apostle is to deploy you into the earth and be an example of how to show up in the world. I love you enough to tell you the truth. To tell you when you're being irresponsible. Okay, and you're going up at the maximum level you could. You got access to the Father.
Okay, let me keep moving. Glory to God. Philippians 3:20.
Maybe that one wasn't enough. Touch yourself, say, I'm a citizen. 3:20 says, but our citizenship is in heaven. Where's your citizenship?
Not in Georgia, not in the United States.
You shouldn't.
But your original home country is heaven.
That's where you come from. So you're governed by the Constitution of Heaven, Constitution of the United States. So you should set heaven's Constitution as a priority in your your life. My citizenship is in heaven. Watch this. From there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
This lowly body that we have—
he's coming not to establish a kingdom.
Watch this. According to scripture, to sit on the throne of a kingdom already established.
This is why we got to show up in the world and start building the kingdom. It said nothing about he's coming to sit on the throne in the church. The whole purpose of church is to teach us to build it for him. Oh God, the reason you're and your assignment aligns. He said, I am called inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. Something is missing, something is dispelled or broken.
The onus is on us, be a part of his kingdom. So let's look at some of the actions. I'm glad we got here. There are about 5 of these these, but I ain't gonna get to none but this one. I already knew because I wanted to get all that introduction. That's the other thing, when I study, I'm hearing God, and most of the time I'm hearing God for people who are connected to me here, people that are connected to me out there, and then onlookers that want to make sure you get what you need. So everything I say, I'm giving it to you as the Holy Spirit gives to me. So the first act, first behavior of a responsible kingdom citizen— y'all ready? Y'all sure?
The first action a responsible kingdom citizen pays their taxes. Come on, man, you're irresponsible in America.
If you don't pay your taxes. Watch this. And if we're not even gonna trust this, huh? Well, you agreed to the contract. You gonna pay them whether you want to or not.
Watch this. It's from 1 Corinthians 15:45.
Let me show you, because we got— everybody want to put the spiritual first, but watch this. Have the spirit. The only reason Jesus came was because of—
was a natural— I'm supposed to be an extension to take care of Compulsory.
It's a law, and it changed for Ruthless.
First natural, then spiritual. It's called tithe and offering. You have— right, watch this—
when you don't get it, you're blind. Whether you respect God— because I lived there, just to my church's return, so I stayed about my cause.
So I'm not making this because you need to get in the life, and I want you— because why are you gonna be broken?
I ain't gonna never be broke.
I can stand here and say I'll never be broke another day in my life. I've been confessing that for the last 15 years, and guess what?
I ain't never been broke a day in my life.
I am a participant in the life. I'm not on a million dollar— the reason I'm on a billion dollar—
you better get it. Okay, yeah, whatever. Okay, Malachi 3:8, let this talk to you.
Since I'm just talking, let me let this talk to you. Malachi 3:8, 9, 10. It says, will a man rob God? You have robbed me. But you have in times—
like, I just got off the banana—
you don't know what I'm saying. But if you have an income of any kind, all right, all right, and many of you me. Let me—
this is okay. Problem with that, whatever. So we better talk about it.
Glory to God.
He said, listen, you got a Uzi on me, a.45 in my temple.
Every time you don't give give. Time you don't tithe, you're a robber.
Is a sick thief. He's that.
So, because they don't want to help you be a kingdom citizen that has productivity and prosperity. Oh my God, today, stop robbing God if you, if you're going to be responsible fool, start paying kingdom tax.
Y'all got fool. I'm listening. That's why you gotta be careful. Let me keep—
let me just read this now, talk about it. He says you're robbing tithes and offerings. Verse 8, you are under a curse. Your whole nation calls you a robbing fool. It says you're cursed. 'Cause a kingdom citizen was not called to live under curses. The blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow. That wasn't me for you just to— it meant for you to live under blessing.
Well, the reason we're not, because we have opened the door to the curse, and the only way to break it is to become a Listen, you better be careful who lays hands on you. Curses are transferable.
You got the wrong person laying hands on you, and then you end up not tied because they don't tie. So y'all gonna be careful what you get impressed— that don't even tie. Okay, okay, okay, okay. Yeah, you, you think that they're caring so much and they don't even tithe? They're cursed. I tell the pastors that's under me, you got folk in your church counting the money that don't tithe. How's your CFO and your accounting department? Everybody in the back cursed. Count blessed money, posting blessed money to ledgers. Hey, Pastor, get those cursed deacons out the back! How you got them standing up taking up offering and they cursed?
Okay, all right, all right, come on.
All right, let me keep reading because I'm—
this is the Bible, it ain't I mean, he said curse. You know, I know the African people, especially from you watching me, it don't matter what I say, you ain't gonna give. But that's gonna be your fault because you're responsible.
And I didn't make this up, this is the Bible. And again, I'm not trying to collect tithes because I need you to do anything. The budget of this church is met every month. Listen, I'm telling my wife the other day, it's funny in church. This is funny business because in no church I've ever pastored a play. Don't nobody call back to the church on Monday and say, Apostle, we just checking to see if you met all the bills and if we met the budget for this week. That don't happen. I bet you in history of church, not just me, I promise you I can line up 20 pastors, they're gonna be 0 for 20. Because people don't understand the significance of what doing what they need to do for God does. This is the greatest investment you could ever make. Notice what the Bible says. It says bring the whole tithe. Wait a minute, that's— see, the government don't trust you to give you theirs, so they taking theirs off the top. All right, all right. You shouldn't be tithing off the net.
Okay, all right, back, back here. Okay, you should tithe off the gross. Why should Uncle Sam get his money before God it's his. The Bible said the first fruits of all your increase.
So you owe him a 10th.
If you get a check— those of you on welfare, if you want to move from welfare to God-fair, you better give God 10%.
It's just the— the 10th represents the whole.
Oh boy, this is tough.
I—
that's how I knew I'm going to get out this point. That's like— that's 5 more This ain't the only thing about being responsible, but if you don't get this, you won't get— watch this—
some of you praying for $100,000 a year, but you won't tithe $30,000 a year. How you think I'm gonna trust you with six figures? He can't trust you with $30,000. You won't bring $3,000 a year off the $30,000.
Oh, people say, God, give me $10,000 a week. Glory to God.
But you won't bring a thousand off the ten thousand. Listen, how you gonna bring a thousand off ten thousand, you won't bring a hundred off a thousand, or $10 off $100?
You can't be trusted. The Bible said be faithful. You're irresponsible. Oh Lord, over a few things. I'll make you ruler over many. Notice what he said. He said bring the whole tithe into the storehouse. Is the church— it's the place where the tithe is stored. Watch this, so that— watch this— the Levite, even though I don't need y'all to feed me, promise you I'm gonna eat whether you—
but here It was about making sure the Levite was taken care of, that he had garments, that he had clothes, that he had food, that the house of God was taken care of.
That's right.
I know preachers have made this bad for some people because people give and preachers take all the money. If you sign up for this for money money, it's a clear sign you're stupid. Ain't no money in this. Come on now, I'm telling you.
Okay, all right.
Paul said, if they be ignorant, or in Greek, stupid, let them be stupid. At the end of the day, you're crazy if you sign up for this because you think you're about to get paid. I'm talking about true men and women of God get in this knowing ain't no money in this. We do this so God can get the glory out of our lives. We do this out of obedience. If just so happen somebody give us something, we're happy.
We, we expect less so our heart don't get broken.
We trust God to take care of us. That's right. Are y'all hear me? He said, I want food in my house, I want my house blessed. Watch it, we should be a blessing.
Cheryl, go tell both of them come back in church, please. See, if my children— I promise you, I don't care if I make $30 billion, them Negroes won't get nothing if they don't get this. They gotta get this. I promise you, I will leave my money to a charity.
Glory to God. They better get this. I'm not letting no crazy person take over this.
I promise you, I will leave my money. Well, period. If you can't respect my God and sit in church, go follow them. They need to use bathroom fast. Glory to God, because they need to get this.
I mean, ain't that much using the bathroom in the world. If you, if you can't get there, I'm telling you, if I make $30 billion, let me say it while Junior in here, he'll be the first because he's Junior.
They better get this.
They better get in this Constitution, get in this book, because no unsaved person will participate in my inheritance. I'm telling you right now, God has given me is holy.
Okay, all right, whatever.
Try me and see. Glory God. The Bible said bring the whole—
I've been talking to my attorney already about putting together a living will for me. When I go, I got to have things in order.
That's right. But I'm telling you, my children better get in order, cuz in the day they will not get a thing.
Zilch. Oh God, someone said, Apostle, that's just mean. No, it's just truth. It's called responsibility.
It's called not giving that which is holy unto dogs.
I'm not doing it. So I suggest you get together. All right, station break over. Let's finish.
He said, bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, and there may be food in my house. He said, prove me with this. So the Lord said, when you tithe, it's an opportunity for him to prove himself to me, throw open the floodgates of heaven.
I love the NIV.
God said, when you're tired, I'm gonna throw open the floodgates and pour you out so much that there will not be room enough to store it. That's not an empty promise. That's true. Babe, you have no right You can't even confess, Lord, throw the gates open so I have no room to receive what you give. You can't even say that because you don't tithe. But when you tithe, you can stand in faith bold and say, Lord, I'm a tither, and in the name of Jesus, as a kingdom citizen, I decree and declare that the floodgates of heaven are being thrown open on my behalf. Receiving blessing, have room enough to receive. Yeah, tithe is praising God right there because we understand, glory to God, that when we can stand in our confession— I know this is hard, man, but I'm trying.
I love you enough to help you. And you know, I'm just— I mean, I only got 3 degrees. I'm just smart enough to know that, okay, when God says you need to talk about this, you need to talk about it. So don't scroll, people, stay with me. He says, test me in this, prove me in this, said the Lord. See if I'm gonna throw the floodgates and pour y'all so much blessing you won't have room enough to store it. Think about that. Think about you got so much blessing coming in You ain't got nowhere to put it. It's too much. I know what that feels like.
I got so much stuff, I ain't got room to put half, and I got a nice size house. Half of the stuff, I ain't got nowhere to put some of the stuff.
We throw stuff away, give it away. That's what overflow does.
Yeah, glory to God. We're blessed to be a blessing, and that's what God's doing.
Get— just talk to him. This is what this supposed to do, is supposed to convict you. If it's in you. He said, I will prevent pests— watch this— from devouring your crops, and the vines in your field will not drop fruit before it is ripe, says the Lord Almighty. God said you won't bring forth fruit before it's time.
You wonder why you touch stuff, you start stuff, and it doesn't work.
It's because the devourer is rebuked when you tithe. Some things we can't bring full fruit in because we fell off as a tither. All I'm saying to you today, get back on track. Pay your taxes. Oh, I'm gonna get out of here. So let me show you right Please, down. The power of giving to a king. Power of giving to a king. See, again, I'm just going to assume you don't know how great that is. Again, I'm just speaking directly to people in here.
There's a whole world out there behind that camera.
The power of giving to a king. Number 1, write it down: the power of the king is displayed— watch this—
in—
so the wealthier the king, hear this, the greater his power, or at least the perception of his power in the eyes of other people.
So when we give to God, it ought to put on display the wealth of our kingdom. People should see the prosperity on our life.
Really, tongues, the king's kid. And you expand your territory, the person secure his reputation. His reputation is his Again, how are you showing up in the world? What— oh my God— does the world see when they see you? Are y'all hearing me? I just want to help just this afternoon. You gotta pay your taxes, you gotta give to the king, because when you do that, you're bringing glory to him. Because guess what? You're becoming a part of the exchange system between heaven Heaven and Earth. Listen, even in natural— I told you, first natural, then spiritual, right? Every king wants to be known as a benevolent king, a good king, a righteous king, a prosperous king. Why don't you think the King of Kings wants to be known as that? And guess what? You're his representative. You're how people will know that he's your What? Yeah, we got to give him the glory, man. Oh, I love this. Number 3, write it down: the glory of a king is his power to outgive another king. Here we go. Okay, so another reason why wealth is important to a king is this. Again, the glory of a king is his power to outgive another king.
No way the world system should be supplying more to their kingdoms and their king than we apply to our king, and that he's supplying to us. Kings are concerned about their reputation. He said, delight yourself in him, and I'll give you the desire. You got to get happy, get a status for this. Again, get aligned with him, and whatever you do— of $100 million, you know what people—
come on, move over that.
How about this?
The Ku Klux Klan, to support, is a hate organization. People give to what they believe in. They give to their kingdoms. That's— 22 to support Ready? $5.03 billion in income taxes paid. Watch this, most of which were not voluntary. Again, they were taken. But guess what?
Even if you change your deductions where they don't take as much out You still gotta pay them.
Oh, they got a place for you, it's called prison. You talking about a curse? You're gonna be in prison for tax evasion, right?
Your kingdom tax. If, if the— a message— every person in the U.S., not 10%, they collect. You gotta quit. Okay, we— if they can raise $5 and have a kingdom school system where we control the curriculum. We can build housing communities where we finance houses for kingdom citizens, not based on—
listen to me—
what they have on the credit report, but based on their tithing record.
Yeah, so we got to pay our taxes. Grassroots. I want Rodder Family Church to be 100% tithing church. I, I, I— okay, it's quiet. Glory. Number 4: on the king use for anything and say, look at me.
I say, until we be— and it shall be given unto you good measure.
This law witness.
So King Sheba saw all the palace he had built at the temple of the Lord. Because God said one, that they'll want to be involved.
One of my favorite shows, the dudes be clean, straight clean, but it shows me how money happens. Jews, some tables, bitches, t-shirt. But when she said the report, give to the extent, the protocol, glory, the tithing.
Somebody's watching. You will go to me to tell your is helping to return to the top. Who wants to restore you? What the Lord makes real, they made it because you put your mind in to obey God. Your time. This is your today.
He said, oh Lord, a tither.
I paid you to do this for you.
What do you need for 5 giving today? I text the word give. G-I-V-E. IV. Write this in the comment: 2877. Say it again.
Text the cash app.
Trust in God that you will respond. I only share what the Holy Spirit have.
Sometimes I say to the vagabonds out there watching me, you're struggling because you don't—
a vagabond is a person that want give to anything. Let's pray over these gifts. Father, I give you praise as many are giving online. And now we thank you for sacrificial honor. We thank you for a gift that's fitting for a king. We broke the back of lack. We broke the back of poverty.
And Lord, I know some people are going to always be stuck and they just are not gonna change. But I don't believe that's the case in our group.
