Supernatural Evangelism, Part One | Day 20 of 21 Days of Action | Dr. Mike Woods

In this 21‑day series livestream, Dr. Mike Woods (Michael Lyris Woods) delivers a fervent sermon on “Supernatural Evangelism.” He opens with urgent pleas for viewers to stay, share, and support the ministry, emphasizing obedience to God’s command to evangelize. Woods defines supernatural evangelism as a walking encounter that transcends natural ability, urging believers to see themselves as problem‑solvers and conduits of God’s power. He outlines the biblical mandate (Mark 16:15) and the core message of evangelism, contrasts true soul‑winning with popularity‑driven preaching, and critiques contemporary megachurch leaders who prioritize fame over salvation. The talk interweaves scriptural exegesis (Mark 16:17‑18, Acts 1, Romans 8), personal testimonies, and vivid metaphors (baptism in the Holy Spirit as a full‑body dunk). Woods stresses love as an active, unconditional verb essential for evangelism, warns against superficial or tolerant love, and calls for believers to embody Christ‑like love that corrects and transforms. He concludes with a prayer, a fundraising appeal for a new worship facility and an “Apostolic School of Evangelism,” and a final exhortation to be problem‑solvers, share the message, and trust God for supernatural breakthroughs.

Well, good afternoon everyone, praise God, and welcome, hallelujah, to day 20, 21 Days of Action. Listen, if you're here, don't scroll, please stay right where you are. Listen, this is exactly where you need to be. Uh, for those of you that may be seeing this, you're scrolling past it, stay here. I promise you that I— listen, I promise you there is a word from the Lord. You need this. So do me a favor, guys, if you're just coming in, I need you to go ahead and share this. Glory to God. We got 2 days left, and you know, I at least need to see my Roddaugh family here. Glory to God. Looking kind of skimpy right now, so I need you guys to share. Um, maybe I need to pull out my phone and send a text into that group text. I don't know why I got to do that for grown folk. Uh, we've been doing this for 21 days. Y'all to be here, glory to God. So go ahead and share this, please. Glory to God. Y'all know I'm not to be played with, for real. Y'all already know that. So I'm gonna always call you out on your junk. So you need to be in place, glory to God, especially y'all connected to me. I mean, what the rest of the world do, that's on them. We got an assignment, you know. We're just letting them in on what we're sharing. Those that choose to join, great. But if they don't, I at least want to see those people that I am assigned to when I show up on it. That's at least— if I can prepare for you, if I can pray and ask God to give me something to say to you, the very least you could do, even if you don't take notes, even if you don't engage, the least you could do— hear me— is be here. Glory to God. And I understand people have things to do, uh, but for God's sake, some people don't even go back and watch the replay. This is just how little they are concerned about, you know, what's happening. All of this stuff is strategic. Do I have other things I could be doing? Yes, yes, I'm a very busy person, but I choose to be obedient to God. And I think because I do that the least the people connected to me could do— not obey me, obey him— because the Bible said he set the members in the church. He creates partnerships, he creates covenants around destiny. And the least you can do, guys, is be where you need to be. Glory to God. I think a mass text went out as well to our text list where we got hundreds, multiple hundreds of people on. But at the end of the day I'm gonna drop this text in this, uh, group chat for our leaders. Glory to God. So you can, you can be where you need to be, right? All right, because, um, yeah, glory to God. Good afternoon, everybody. So that's that, uh, no more banter. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Uh, good afternoon, Pastor Jasper. Good to see you, sir. Good afternoon. Good afternoon. Thank you so much for being here. Thank you for tagging, uh, Bernice and Karen and Julius, uh, in the comments, and we welcome them when they show up. Good afternoon, Kiara. Good afternoon. Much love to you too. Good afternoon, Dr. Tam. Much love to you. Glory to God, man. We had such an awesome service yesterday. Make sure You tune in, uh, later this evening. We're going to play the replay of the message yesterday. If you missed that word yesterday, we talked the last message on confidence, and we talked about building self-image and building that image through Christ in us so that when people encounter us, they encounter him. Man, what a word. So, uh, make sure you tune in. Good afternoon, LQ. Good afternoon. Good afternoon. Welcome. Glory to God, glory to God. Listen guys, God is good. This is day 20. Tomorrow fast ends at 3 o'clock and we're super excited. Glory to the name of God. So the way this works, again, day 21 kicks in at midnight. So we're going from midnight to 3, so we're counting those days like that. So that's why it would appear that this might be day 21. I know you wanted to be— it's not, it's not, it's tomorrow at 3 because we're going from midnight to 3 each day. Glory to God. Welcome, Cousin Tanya. God bless you. Welcome. Good afternoon. Good afternoon, you guys. You know, comment below. Glory to God. Thank you for being so nice and sharing. Uh, it's just nice to be nice. I've said this a thousand times, so do me a kind favor and share. We're gonna pray, glory to God, today, and we're gonna trust God that he's gonna meet us here. Glory to God. And that his glory It's going to be revealed, my God, today. His power is going to saturate us. Glory to the name of God. Yes, yes sir, Pastor Jeffrey, you might want to do that. That teaching was great. Uh, we gotta change how we view ourselves and our perspective and our worldview of ourselves. How we fit in the world should be congruent and should align with exactly how God sees us. Now that sounds real easy until you start trying to do it. Glory to God. Because we live our life through these false definitive values, and we— an image of who we are has been created many a times by others, and not necessarily through the revelation that we have of God into who he is. So listen, I'm telling you, to be who we are, not who he is, to who we are. Glory to God. Listen, yeah, you want to stop that, Pastor for real. Yeah, dog, it was fire. Uh, I, I, I'm— listen, I appreciate you, the videos you sent me, but I just want to tell you, I was sitting there like a little, uh, chickadee bird, uh, waiting for more. Glory to God. Because I said, I know I got— we got some more clips than this, but I appreciate what you said. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Um, it was good, it was good, because I got— I'm gonna put together a nice montage of just different clips from that message. Good message, good message. All right guys, let's pray and we're gonna jump into this. Hallelujah! We're gonna have some fun with this teaching today. I really want to, uh, I want this to get in the core of your spirit. Glory to the name of God. I want you to understand the responsibility that goes behind what we're about to share. We started a little bit this morning at 5, but, uh, this is so very serious. You know, this is serious business. This is what our life in God really is all about. It's a lost cause, it's a lost word, uh, in the church. But you know, we need to reintroduce this word to the church, and we need to get busy doing this. It's the year of action, and again, one of our actions is sharing God better. Let's pray. Oh my God, Father, in Jesus' name, uh, we thank you, we give you glory, we give you honor, We thank you for this opportunity to teach your word again. We thank you, God, that the grass withers. Yes, God, the flower fades, but your word stands forever. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's eternal, God. Hallelujah. And we thank you that while it's not bigger than you, your word is not bigger than you, it's not bigger than the Holy Spirit that lives in us, which is you. Glory to God. But we thank you, God, that you've given us this guidepost, this a way of having instructions for life. And so God, we give you praise for that now. And Father, we ask this as we teach today, that we would experience the light, the illumination, and the intelligence of the Holy Ghost. And we praise you for that now, in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. Glory to God. Again, welcome everybody. Hallelujah. Yeah, I know, I know. We're gonna have to find a barricade or something for little mama. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Glory to God. We're gonna work it out. That's why we need facility, facility, facility. We need— glory to the name of God— building. Glory to God. And we're trusting God for that so we can put our small babies in a place of their own and they can own it. Glory to God. We love Jesus. Amen. He's a good God. Thank you, Father. All right, guys, let's jump into this, man. This is gonna be, uh, absolutely phenomenal today. Uh, again, we're talking about, praise God, supernatural evangelism. Supernatural evangelism. Glory to God. And I believe, like I said before, you're going to be blessed by this teaching today. I believe it's going to be absolutely life-changing. Again, this is a lost word in the body of Christ, and, um, nobody wants to talk about it. Uh, everybody wants to be pretty much a, uh, social, social media evangelist. Glory to God. Um, and while I don't really believe that that is a thing, uh, that's not really a possible thing. Glory to God. Um, the reality is You know, God, you know, he has a way that he has designed for us to do things. Glory to God. And, uh, we can use social media to evangelize, but it's not— it shouldn't be our chief thing we use, because if you don't do that right, it's going to be very ineffective when you use social media only to evangelize. So I want to talk about supernatural evangelism. If you're writing notes, right at the top of your paper paper, Supernatural Evangelism. And we're basically going to talk about really how to become a walking encounter, how to win souls by allowing your life to be a walking encounter. See, you're going to be remembered for one of two things. Listen to this: the problems you create, or the problems you solve. I'm gonna say that again. You're gonna be remembered for one of two things: the problems you create or the problems you solve. Now you gotta make up your mind that you want to be a problem solver. Are you hearing this? I want you to hear me. You need to make up your mind that you want to be a problem solver. Matter of fact, down in the comments, I just need you to type that really quick. Make that confession. Say it out of your mouth, make the devil real mad. Just type, I'm a problem solver. I am a problem solver. Glory to God. I want you to understand that you are a problem solver. You were sent to this planet to be a solution— watch this— to somebody else's problem. Every assignment— hear me, guys— has about 6 things. One, it has problems, because your assignment— watch this— is the problem you were created to solve. So yeah, as you type that, I want you to realize that there is a problem you— yeah, you— were created to solve. You are a problem solver. Glory to God. Glory to God. Hashimanto koshia. You are the solution. Matter of fact, you are a life jacket to somebody that's drowning. Find them. So every assignment, and every believer has one— first of all, assignment is the problem you're created to solve. Inside of the problem you created to solve, you're going to discover the most effective piece of your assignment, which is bringing people to Christ. Because at the end of the day, every kingdom assignment is about introducing people to the King. Not everyone you encounter will come to him. I need you to be clear on that, because that's just how it is, right? It's just how it is. Everybody's not going to be saved. I don't care what these inclusionists are saying. And please share my teachings with all of them. At the end of the day, I don't care what they say, everybody is not going to be saved. I believe the word of God. So at the end of the day, everybody's not going to come to Jesus, everybody's not going to love God like you. But what you got to remember inside of your assignment is to be a light, to be an authority, to be a power. Glory to God. Hallelujah to somebody so they can come to God. I'm telling you right now, this video is not going to be very popular. It won't be watched much because people don't want to hear this, because people want the privilege of being a kingdom citizen and the privilege— watch this— of having heavenly assignment, but they don't want— hear me— the responsibility. But can I introduce you to a thought that you already know, but you probably hadn't heard it said like this? The other side of responsibility is privilege, and the other side of privilege is responsibility. You really can't have privileges without having responsibilities that connect to them. Oh boy, I, I can go a lot, a lot of different ways with that. I'm— but I'm not because I got a lot to teach. But at the end of the day, you can't expect to have all these privileges of being a kingdom citizen and you don't make your responsibility a priority. And you don't take what you're called to do in God seriously. So every assignment has problems, people, places, particulars, and provision. So the reality is you got to find the people inside of your assignment that you're supposed to connect, that you got to bring to him. You got to become an encounter for them. You're the con— you're the conduit. Hear me, you're the conduit that draws people into the kingdom of God. Ultimately, the goal is to get people to him, not to you. See, because we live for clicks and likes and follows and shares. The reality is it's not about us. Even if you get a lot of those, it should be about him, right? It should be about getting people to him. He said it: if I be lifted up from the earth, I'll draw all men to me. So at the end of the day, it's about getting people to God in a huge way, in a big way. So let's go to Mark 16:17-18, which is the substratum of these teachings. Glory to God. The Bible says this, it says, and these signs shall follow them that believe in my name: they shall cast out devils, They shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them. They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Hear this. Hear me, hear me, hear me. Glory to God. Hear me today. So here's the proposition. Here's a proposition, two propositions I want to propose as we teach this. One, I introduced it this morning in 5 o'clock prayer. Every believer that's filled with the Holy Spirit has been empowered to bring someone to God, to win souls. That's so. If you have the Holy Ghost in you. Oh my God, did they— you have been empowered to win souls. Okay, you don't believe me? You don't believe me? You don't believe me? Okay, um, all right, let's go. We're gonna go— let's go to Acts 1. I'm gonna have to read this because some of y'all don't believe. Acts 1, I read it this morning. I'm gonna read it again. Glory to God. Hey, Janiah! Glory to God. God bless you. I'm so glad you are here. Glory to God. Thank you so much. You are a problem solver, lady. I love it. I love it. That's, that's my 10-year-old goddaughter. God bless you. I love that. That does your— that does my heart good. I am so happy. And proud. Glory to God, glory to God. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Man, I'm trying to hold the tears back. That's beautiful. Glory to God. Acts 1, verses 4 through 10. Glory to Jesus. Yeah, man. While he was still with them— listen to this, this is post-resurrection. Jesus comes back from the dead. He said, don't leave Jerusalem yet, wait here for the Father. To give you the Holy Spirit, just as I told you he has promised to do. Verse 5: John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. So here's the key, guys: not just being baptized in water, because a lot of times we can pray— place a great emphasis on being baptized in water, but after being baptized in water, the most important element here is being baptized in the Holy Spirit. The word baptism is from a Greek word baptizo, is a commercial word actually. And what entrepreneurs or manufacturers would do, they would— let's, let's, let's take a sheep shearer. They would shear the wool from a sheep. That's where this word comes from, cut the wool off And if they wanted that pure white wool— hear this— to become a red garment, they would take that wool, pure white, and baptize it, submerge it into a red dye pan. And they would keep dunking it in that dye pan. I'm literally just dunking it. Until there was no more traces of white, till it was red to the core. That's what baptism in Holy Spirit does. It's to dunk you in him consistently, continually, until all others encounter and see on your life it's him. So That says to me this is a continual process. Oh my God, of being baptized in the Holy Spirit, because we're constantly learning about him, we're constantly growing in him. So a dab won't do you. Oh boy, that's, that's good. You need a whole dunk. It's not enough for you to get a little bit and you start fanning flies and shaking your hands and speaking in tongues. And rolling in the floor and kicking and having a fit. It's not enough, right? Oh glory, that you don't need just a dab, you'll need just to be able to prophesy or to discern or have the gifts of the Spirit. You need a whole dunk that literally makes you and I like him. Oh my God. Oh my God, oh my God. Verse number 6: While the apostles were still with Jesus, they asked him, Lord, are you now going to give Israel its own king again? Jesus says, listen, I just told you about becoming like me, being baptized in the Holy Spirit so you operate just as I did, and you asking something that has nothing to do with right now. So we have a problem prioritizing our priority over God's. But watch this, he said you don't need to know those events, but that only the Father controls. Verse 8, but the Holy Spirit will come upon you and give you power, authority, exousia in Greek. Hallelujah. It also tends to rada, which is dominion, which is the Septuagint transliteration of the Hebrew word or the Greek word exousia. It means to have full control. So the Holy Spirit really is how dominion is walked out. Oh God, we gotta go, we gotta go. I'll have time. But then you will tell everyone— oh my God, good God— about me in Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria, and everywhere in the world. After Jesus had said this, and while they were watching, he was taken up into a cloud. They could not see him, but as he went up, they kept looking into the sky. Oh my God, today— oh, I love you. Oh my God, that sounds a lot like the Great Commission we just read. In Mark 16:17-18. The reality is, at the palp— oh my God— the heartbeat, at the palpitation— glory to God— of God is that we, you and I, be 100% engaged— hear this— in the act of winning souls. The amansi atebako This text suggests to me— hear me— it's not enough, listen, to merely exist as a kingdom citizen. So let's get a working definition of supernatural evangelism. What is it? What is it? What is it? What is it? So it's two words: it's supernatural and it's evangelism. So let's, let's break those down and then let's bring them together. So supernatural is an act or occurrence that is beyond, above— oh my God— superior to our natural ability. It is superior to our natural intelligence. It is a— oh my God— it is superior to our aptitude or aptitude to perform a task. So when something is supernatural, it is— it means that it is not naturally impossible. For you to do this particular act without him effectively. Y'all got that? Okay. All right, what is evangelism? Good God, here we go. Evangelism is the verbal and visible presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the Greek word evangelio which means to disseminate or impart good news concerning Jesus Christ. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Oh boy, it, it— watch this— and it means that when I do this, when I present Jesus, the result of one gelzio is another— hear this— encountering Jesus as the one who's speaking about it has. So your goal is, in evangelism, comes out of heart, to make sure that others experience Christ as you have. And you really should be happy about that. It's good news. I mean, you get some good news, you, you know, you get a new man, you get a new woman, man, or You know, yeah, notice I said woman, you get a new man. Man get a new woman, not woman, you get a new woman and man, you get a new man. No, you get it, you get, you get a new man, woman, you get a new woman, man. Glory to God. Oh my God, this world is crazy, man. Listen, and they want you to accept and justify this stuff. This is my thing is that if that's what you want to do, let's not put God in it. Let's not try to rewrite the scripture because you want to be a homosexual. Let's, let's not try to blow up and create a whole new doctrine and gospel because you want to be a lesbian and you like girls and you a girl, or you like boys and you a boy. No, if that's what you want to do, let's keep God out of it because it's ungodly. Or if you want to have 10 wives and not just one, then do your thing. And take your chance on going to hell. What I'm telling you right now, keep God out of it and stop trying to change the Bible, talking this craziness about we need a new canon, we need a new book. I mean, it's crazy, man. It's crazy. We don't. Please send this directly to Yvette Fonder, and I challenge her on any day to sit down with me and let's talk about the realness of God. Not, not just what you read on the physical page, but let's talk about what God really can do. And let's talk about the testimonies he's really performed. And let's talk about the moral perspective. And this still is evangelism because guess what? We got to win these people because they've lost it. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my gosh. I gotta go, I gotta go, I gotta go. So Supernatural Events, literally pull it together. Let me, let me just stay on task. I feel this prophetic push. God have mercy. Listen, I feel this apostolic/prophetic collaborative riding up in me, uh, to shift some governments and to prophesy futures concerning this way of thinking, this inclusionist way of thinking Oh my God, down to the point that, you know, they're consecrating bishops and apostles to spearhead this movement because they lost their general. Listen, while we don't hate anybody, we got to defend the truth, guys. Okay, put it together. Supernatural evangelism is the act of presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that is beyond or superior to our personal intellect, our personal ability, our personal— watch this— dialogue. Because some of you would use the excuse, glory to God, that the reason I don't talk to people about Jesus, because I'm just afraid. I mean, we— okay, we just taught a whole series on confidence, so you should be over that right now. All right, but secondly, you got to know that if you tap into the supernatural way of doing things, that you just literally become a vessel. And it doesn't matter what your ability is, it's about his ability. You yield you to him, and what he does is you become an enhanced creature when you— because he wants his message to get to those in wisdom, in love, that don't know it. So we have to— glory to God, thank you, Jesus— we have to make a conscientious decision to obey God. This thing is about obedience, to ensure that those that don't know what we know about God, and that they're supposed to be saved— and I said it this morning, I said it again, There are people that's connected to your spiritual DNA. Hear me. And they won't be born again— hear this— until you open your mouth, until you start operating in the authority and the power of the living God. Oh my God, today we love him. Yeah God, we give you glory. So you say, Apostle, how do I become A supernatural evangelist? I'm glad you asked. Yeah, have you noticed something about Christ too? And I'm gonna get into this. I just want to talk to you, man. Have you noticed something? For my pastors and leaders and apostles and prophets that follow me, maybe you don't hear a lot by replay, and for people that's just interested in stuff that's happening in church, but have you noticed that there are far less evangelists in representation in the earth than there are apostles, prophets, pastors, and teachers, man. Probably for every 20 preachers you meet, one is an evangelist. I sat next to a young man the other night, uh, my wife and I are sitting next to this couple, uh, at Apostle Harris's birthday party. And I was like, wow. I said to myself, for the first time in about 6 months, I actually met someone that's actually an evangelist, a male that actually has an evangelistic mandate on his life. And I began to prophesy to him while I was sitting there with him about it, and he couldn't even hardly hold back tears. He was like, man, I can't believe that God's just orchestrating this like this, because a lot of evangelists don't realize that they really have a very significant place even to do what I'm doing right now, to train the body to win souls and to be at the forefront of getting people to God so pastors and teachers and apostles and prophets can disciple them. We need the evangelists. I'm talking— everybody wants to be a prophet, everybody wants to be Oh my God, an apostle! Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ, are we here? It's too many. And so thus we got a world— again, right here in Atlanta, the Jehovah's Witnesses are outgrowing us 19 to 1 because we have no evangelists who is training the body to evangelize. The Muslims are outgrowing us 13 to 1 because there are no evangelists evangelizing. Say what you want about them Jehovah's Witnesses with all of their lies, with their false book. Come on. Oh my God, oh my God, glory to God, glory to God. Listen, can I tell you something? Listen, so let me just do this right here because I just love exposing demons. So let's do it right here. So this, this, I'm just, I'm gonna, you just finished seeing Um, so while we're teaching about evangelism, we see this person who hasn't even spelled Pastor Wright, uh, from Pakistan. I know who exactly who this is. He— there's a team of these pastors in Pakistan who all they do— I have some legitimate sons in Pakistan who actually trying to get me to come to Pakistan. We're going to go and do a real crusade there and help. I have legitimate sons that we have helped. But stuff like what we see in the comments now, this is not of God. And don't nobody on here send this man nothing. Glory to God. Because at the end of the day, if he has a phone and he has the internet and he can get on here and ask for $265, glory to God, he can eat. Trust me, the cost of living is not that high in that these countries, there's a, there's a whole ring of this happening. So be very careful. He don't even remember that I know who he is. Glory to God. He, he, he introduces himself every time he comes on. Listen, be very careful because we can get deceived to fall into the hands of the wrong kind of evangelist. Glory to God. Okay, let me just move. Let me just move. So at the end of the day Because I had to address that because it's second time this dude showed up while I was teaching, and I just want to make clear that what he's doing right now is not welcome because I know the root and the motive behind that. Somebody said, uh, possibly they need food. No, no, they don't. That— this is a whole lie in the comments. All right, glory to God. So let's talk about this. So supernatural evangelism basically again calls for us to become a walking encounter. Oshian tababaya, rukutabasyan tababaya. We give you glory. It calls for us to become a walking encounter. Lord, I love you. And in order for us to do that, we got to understand 3 basic parts, or really 4 basic parts of what evangelism is and what it looks like. So one, we got to understand the mandate of evangelism. We gotta understand the message of evangelism. Thirdly, we got to understand— watch this— the methods of evangelism. And then we get, as a result— hear me, glory to God— the miracle of evangelism. I need you to hear me. So today I'm not gonna have time to cover all of them, but that's what we're going to talk about these next two days. I'm gonna try to touch mandate and message today. Glory to God, I'm already running out of time. Glory to God, we give you praise, we give you praise, God, we give you glory, we give you honor. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father. Glory to God. We bless you. We bless you, God. So the mandate of evangelism— watch this. Glory to God. Because my mission here today is to teach. Yeah, Lord, I love you. I thank you. My mission here is to not be distracted because this, this message right here, I'm telling you, the enemy doesn't want this message to get out. And the devil is alive. We gonna become evangelists. We're gonna change our world. We're gonna supernaturally empower people who are not born again to follow Christ. Well, watch this. There, yeah, I deal with people who are not saved all the time in business. I have a lot of golf people, I'm friends I play with. Jesus was a friend with sinners, so we play golf together. But I'm always a light out there. The whole goal always is to culminate my conversation with them to something concerning Christ. And reality is people need God, and we got to know how to get this done. So what's the mandate? We read it, we read it. Mark 16:15: Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. This is not optional. That is a command. It means to command a mission. Glory to God, glory to God. It means to obey an order that comes down from a high-ranking officer. Glory to God, glory to Jesus. Lord, we love you. Lord, we thank you. That's right, that's what we do. That's what we do, because that's exactly what that is, trying to play on our emotions. We give you glory, God, and we give you honor. So a high-ranking official— watch this— the highest-ranking official in the kingdom, which is Jesus Christ, came back from the dead. He didn't say this while he was alive. He came back from the dead and commanded us to evangelize. And he said, go into all the world. So Mark 16:15 is not a proposal. Hear me, Rev. I'm shocked. Oh my God, it's not a suggestion. I need you to understand, this text is a command. It's a mandate. It's an official order from the highest ranking officer in the kingdom, Jesus himself. To go into the world and share the light of the glorious gospel with others. Good God, good God. We give you— We bless you, God. So here's what God is saying today, and I'm gonna move. Because I got literally about 18 minutes. I'mma move. Here's what God is saying to us. He's saying, I need you to be obedient, and I need you to understand that I've given you a command. And immaturity— I need you to show up in the world and represent me, and that your life will become a witness. To what I can do if humans would serve me. That's it. That's the mandate. Obedience. Obey what he said. Kitashimon tora. We give you glory. So that's the mandate. Go. We got to put the go back in gospel. You know what? Everybody wants one of these. Everybody wants this. Everybody want this right here. That's what everybody want. They want a mic. Y'all see that? Everybody wants a mic. That's what they want, mic. They want to preach, they want to prophesy, they won't get up in the church in front of folk that's already saved. Glory to God. And they could care less about people getting born again. Everybody wants a mic. Oh, Shia. And God is saying, I need you to discover your assignment, and inside of that assignment, allow the mandate to be priority, and use your assignment as you show up in the world to get people to him. Oh my God. Yes sir, Pastor Jasper, we gotta, we gotta do it, we gotta do it, we gotta put the go back in gospel. Yeah, we again, all we want to do— most people won't even, don't even want to go to church today. They want to sit at home in their pajamas and watch the live stream of the service. Glory to God. You know they ain't going in the world to share the gospel with nobody. And then those who come to church, we become more interested in entertaining each other that's showing up in the world going, oh my God, and making an impact. So let's, let's, let me digress from that. So that's the mandate, y'all got it? This time in the comments, I must obey. Just say it out loud, I must obey God. Listen, God made a deal with somebody that's been watching your life that Hey, and he made the deal long before they got here. They don't even know the deal in place, but he knew because before he formed you, he knew you. He knew them. He started setting things up. He knew you would encounter them, and the deal in their spirit is that they come to him when they come in contact with the light that's in you. Again, you're a life jacket to someone drowning. Find them. Don't worry about the people that won't listen. Watch this, don't even worry about necessarily inviting them to your church. Lead with Jesus. Too many people lead with their church and their pastor. He said preach the gospel. So go and tell somebody about Michael Lyris Woods ain't the gospel. Go on telling somebody about T.D. Jakes is not the gospel. I'm not saying you should not talk about your ministry and the good things that happen to you and your ministry, but you lead with Jesus. Oh, okay, okay, okay, okay. Ah, people need what's in you. Hear me, they need what's in you. I gotta get out of here, man, I got 15 minutes. So let's look at the message. Let's jump into this. So the message of evangelism— so that was the mandate. So the message of evangelism— remember again, as we teach through this, that evangelism is the verbal and visible presentation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that leads to the manifestation of salvation. So the whole purpose of the verbal and visible presentation of Jesus is so that people will get saved. That's what evangelists do. Now I'm about to say something that many of you may not want me to say, but I don't have nothing against Bishop Jakes, okay? I don't have nothing against the man. I love his ministry. I've been blessed by his ministry, okay? So I want you to understand this, but I have to respectfully— and I'm not hating on the fact that he was in Time magazine— but I have to respectfully disagree with Time when they declare him the next Billy Graham. Or the caption said, is this the next Billy Graham? And we read the article, they're saying he's the next Billy Graham. They ask the question themselves based on things they've seen. I want to appeal to you that T.D. Jakes' message to the body— and I have to use him because he's one of our— the forefront influencers in the body of Christ, right? So again, nothing against him, but I have to use him as an example. And he probably would agree because everything I'm about to say is true. You go to T.D. Jakes' meetings, it's filled with church folk. Let's just, let's just, let's just hear me out, all right? Hear me out. A lot of these people that got on Bishop Jakes' coattail now are, you know, riding the messages, getting the inspiration from him. I've been following Bishop Jakes since he was in West Virginia. He's always been a great preacher. He's always edified my life through his messages. I was saved, right? Again, nothing against him, but his assignment is not evangelist in the sense of causing salvation to be a result. He has a gift to preach that assembles believers around the message, but sinners showed up in stadiums to hear Billy Graham preach. This is the difference, okay? Don't kill the apostle this morning. I'm just trying to show you something. I know y'all like him. I love Mr. Dukes too. I like him. Great, great man of God. I'm just trying to show you the world painted a picture of him that was incorrect, and I don't want you to think that's evangelism. I have to say this as an apostle in the church Because people look at people who are popular like him and think that's evangelism, which it's not. That's good preaching that draws people who are hungry for good preaching. People who are sinners don't flock to that. Evangelism carries a message that has a strategy that's going to produce salvation. Now, how do you know? I've been to so many meetings. That's— I'm telling you, I love this, Jake. I've been to conferences, you know, I don't go anymore, glory to God, but I used to go back then, glory to God. I used to go to conferences, get the word, meet new preachers, meet new pastors. I loved it. But I can count on 3 or 4 fingers the time I was in large meetings of leaders of this type where there was an altar call for salvation. And I'm not, again, I'm not saying nothing wrong with the meeting. I'm there. People got blessed. It was for church folk. It wasn't specifically designed to get people saved. So we can't— I just don't want you to think having a conference, having a meeting at the church is typically how we're supposed to release this message and evangelize. Everything Billy Graham did— hear this— oh, it was deliberately designed, hear me, to get people to the altar. I've been in some Billy Graham meetings and I have had to pleasure of being on the inside of how they strategically planned those meetings. So when I was in Jackson, he would send a team to the city. He would start assembling the pastors a year in advance. He will meet with those pastors, um, his team will meet those pastors once a month, and they will pour out strategy on how to teach your church how to get souls out to the crusade. And those instructions were followed, and the stadium now is filled with people who don't know the message. And when Billy Graham gets up there in a soft tone, a monotone voice, and preaches the word, he then sings "Just As I Am Without One Plea." Now the altars are flooded with people who are saved because they heard the message. So we just got to know the difference. What is happening is our leaders today are modeling popular preachers, and what we're doing, we're creating this huge cycle specifically in America. Hear me, specifically in America where we have membership transfer. Oh, oh, where we are transferring members from one church to another because we're not positioning people in front of the message. God adds to the church daily— oh my God— such as should be saved. So real church growth, hear me, is when people get saved, not when someone leaves another church and joins the church. That happens, right? But the end of the day Real healthy church growth is born out of new converts. Oh boy, oh boy, Lord have mercy. Are y'all with me? Are y'all with me today? So we got to decide what we want. Do we want souls or do we want to be popular? We give you glory. Do we want souls or do we want to be popular? Glory to God. Hallelujah. Do you want souls or do you want to be popular? Glory to God. Do you want souls or do you want to be popular? And that's what we got to decide. Oh yes, Lord, that's what I want. That's what I want. I want souls. Glory to the name of God. I want people to be born again. I want people to get breakthroughs. I want sinners to be converted. I want prostitutes to come to the church. Lord, drunks and crack addicts and lawyers and doctors and politicians and entrepreneurs that need Jesus in their life, I want to see them saved. But we got to get the message right. Oh my God, we gotta get the message right. It's not about us. Oh my God, we followed popularity too long, and wherever it's gotten us, man. Again, the Jehovah's Witness outgrowing us 17 to 1. Where has it got us? I'm just having a conversation with y'all today with a few scriptures. Where's it got us for real? A, a totally false doctrine that the Jehovah's Witness carry. They're adding more converts in America, 17 to 1, every day. There's something wrong with that when we got churches filled with 30,000 people, 20,000, 10,000, 8,000, 5,000, and we're not mobilizing people to really win souls. Oh God, God, give us our focus back. Listen, everybody else coming out the closet. Well, church, come out the closet. Get out that building. The salt needs to get out the salt shaker. We are the salt of the earth stuck in a salt shaker. We are the flavor. We should be setting the tone. We got to get out the closet. We give you glory. We give you honor. Yeah, Pastor Jasper, we got to do better, all of us. We got to do better. I'm telling you, I said this morning, the husband, man, is first partaker. We can get so caught up in— and, you know, this is at my core. I mean, the first ordination that came on my life, because I was a prophet, because I was an apostle, before I was ordained as a pastor, my daddy prophesied over my life and said I was an evangelist. And that's why— that's where my heart— and I received it because I had a dream prior to my ordination where I saw this rocket that was flying around the globe, and on the side of it, it had my name. It had Evangelist Michael Woods. And everywhere that rocket would land, it would cause an explosion of the gospel, and many people would be born again. And when my daddy ordained me Freddie Woods, Prophet Freddie Woods, my daddy. That's my, that's my OG spiritual father. He'll always be my spiritual daddy. And when he ordained me, glory to God, he spoke evangelism over my life and he said, make full proof of my ministry, do the work of an evangelist. He said to me like Paul said to Timothy. And ever since then, that's what I have done. When I travel in my church, I'm always trying to think of wise strategies to win souls. We got to do better, people. We got to get back to the core of what we've been designed to do. Glory to God. Yeah, Apostle Betty. Yeah, Mother. The world is dying and we're bucking, we shouting, we speaking in tongues, we prophesying each other. The world is on its way to hell and enjoying the trip, and we having church. We gotta take that good church to the world. And we got to spread this gospel so that men can be saved. Glory to God. So what is the message? The message of evangelism— and almost done— is rooted in the core values of our faith, what we believe. Our core values is the inner structure around which we build our lives. So watch this. Our core values, we have built our lives around Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! We have built our lives around scripture, right? So God bless you, Apostle Lay. Glory to the name of God. We have built our lives around what the world wants to see in us. Have mercy. Glory to God. But are we really acting it out for real? Because, because these are not just principles. Our core values influence how we act. Many of us have changed our behavior. We've stopped doing things, we stopped going places, we, we changed our whole way of doing because we want to follow Jesus, right? So If this thing is so good, that's all I'm saying today. I'm almost done, I got like 3 minutes. Oh my God. Yeah, daughter Zion. Yeah, daughter. Yeah, we gotta go on the highways and byways, compel them. The word compel means to make them come in through our influence. Recess is over. Yeah, I see that. Recess is over. Listen, This message should motivate our decision-making concerning others. And if this message is good to us, as we say, why not share it, man? Some of y'all get a new car, a new coat, a new pair of shoes, you, you all on Facebook posting it. Oh boy, don't get no new boo, don't get a new boo. Oh my God, you booed up in them pictures, selfies, everything. I know it, God. I mean, I post pictures of me and my wife all the time because that's good news to me. Whether nobody else wants it to be good news for them, it's good news for me, so I post it. You post those kind of things. So why not share with the world how madly in love with Jesus you are and how good he's been outside of social media? Because truth be told most of the people that follow you, or that the algorithm allows to see your post, are people that you interact with consistently. And for the most part, those people are already saved. It ain't even designed— social media, they hate the church. That's when you start talking real stuff in the Bible, they cut you. I don't— been blocked by Facebook, TikTok, Everybody— my account has been suspended because stuff I've said, because this ain't really designed to share this message. They hate it. Matter of fact, you can't even reference Jesus when you run a Facebook ad. When you're setting up an ad campaign, you can't even use the word Jesus. You can't use prophecy, apostles. You can't use none of the lingo that will attract people who need to hear the message. That's good for me because it forces me to put my ads in front of sinners. It's because I start typing in stuff I know they watch or they're looking at. So I start typing something like Tyler Perry, Oprah. That I build my ads around stuff I know people are looking at. He that wins the soul is wise. So it's always more than one way to skin a cat, but just your daily post is not necessarily evangelism. So there are a few elements in the message. Give me 5 more minutes. The first one is love. We're talking about the message. You really cannot effectively evangelize unless you love people. And I think this is part of the problem, folks. You got preachers, you got evangelists, apostles— oh my God, you know— prophets, teachers who really don't love people. They love themselves, so they make what they do in ministry about them. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. They make what— oh my God— they ensue in the kingdom about them. Love is never superficial. It's never passive. It's always active. Love is a verb. Love is unconditional. This kind of love I'm talking about, it's not need love. I said it Sunday, you know, people got eros love, which a better word is I need you. As long as I'm doing what you want me to do, you love me. But real love said, I love you without condition. And we gotta love humanity without condition. So when I talk about the sins that are in our world and the things that are prevailing, it's not— I don't love those people. I'm just like God. I just hate sin like he does. I hate it in my own life. But the love is what drew me to here. The old mother love lifted me. Love lifted me. When nothing else could help, love lifted me. I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore, very deeply stained within, seeking to rise no more. But then the Master of the Sea, he heard my despairing cry. From the waters he lifted me. Now safe am I. Love lifted me. And if we're gonna lift a generation If we're gonna change the world, we got to operate in love. Not— watch this— love is not tolerance. It doesn't say I don't love you because I don't tolerate the things that you do that displease God. No, love is not tolerance. And that is just the opposite. True love will call you out. True love chastise. True love will rebuke. True love bring correction. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. We gotta walk. We gotta have a real love walk. I don't want to hear you speak in tongues if after you get through speaking in tongues you mean as a rattlesnake and I don't want to be around you. Stop talking in tongues. You're misrepresenting the God of that tongue. Oh, we give you glory, God. Hallelujah, hallelujah. Listen, when we got love working in us, we won't evangelize because we have to. We'll evangelize because we want to. Oh. God today. We'll evangelize because we want to. I don't have time, my time gone, man. I got 4 more of these elements in this message I need to give you. Glory to God. I, I, I, I vowed to stay an hour with you and I'm over. Listen, oh my God, you got to understand this. If you really love God like you say, like your, like your jump, your shout, your tap dancing says, like your church attendance says, you will share God because you want to, because that love, you'll love humanity so you'll want them to know what you know. Oh God, let's pray. Father, we give you praise. I thank you for this word today. I thank you for speaking to us, God. I pray that you strengthen, eshikuntabaya, brensetekontseteti, beansetaba. Oh God, I give you glory. Help us to love like you love. And Father, give us a heart to draw people to you, not to be mean-spirited, not to beat people down, but to love them until they experience your love. And because your love is a transformative love And so I thank you, God, for how your love changed me. And I pray, God, in the name of Jesus, that every person under the sound of my voice would experience that love. God, we were wretches. We were, we were not worthy to be loved. John 3:16 told us that you so loved the world. And if you love the world, we love the world. We love them like you loved them. We love them enough to sacrifice ourselves to present you to them. So Father, I'm praying live or by replay that you raise up a group of evangelists that will move supernaturally and share the supernatural love of the Father with the world. I pray that you will raise up voices in the kingdom that will not seek to mirror and copycat popularity. I am those who take the answer. Yeah. Oh, it's killing our generation. It's killing the church. Oh, everybody wants to be the next popular preacher, the next YouTube sensation, but God, give us love, give us power, so we can change the world, God, so that we can look up a year from now and we can testify that the church is outgrowing the Jehovah's Witness 100 to 1. And not them outgrowing us 17 to 1. And we're outgrowing the Muslims 1,000 to 1 because people are being saved. We rebuke the spirit of membership transfer that makes people comfortable just floating around. Omashiantabaya. Obakanshe. And leaders that are comfortable with this model. Father, help us. To reach our world, to reach our region, first in Jerusalem, in Judea, in Samaria, and in the uttermost parts of the earth. We give you praise for it now. Yeah, in Jesus' name, amen and amen. God have mercy. God have mercy. Oh God, I love you. I praise you. We bless you. We honor your high name, God. Oh God, hallelujah! God is so good, he's so kind. The world hungers for us. The Bible says in Romans 8, and I'm gonna let you go, that the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. The world is waiting for us to come out the closet and show them love and bring them to Jesus. Hallelujah, hallelujah! I love you guys. This is day 20, glory to God, of 21 days of fasting and prayer, 21 days of action. We're fasting for fire so we can seek God better, serve God better, and share God better. That's what we want to do. We want to take action in these areas and change our world. Listen, I want to invite every person on the sound of my voice, live or by replay, get seed in the ground on this Monday. This is a Miracle Monday. Glory to God. Support this ministry. We need a worship facility of our own. Listen, God has blessed me. I don't need your money, but what I do want to do is build the kingdom of God, and I need your assistance to do that. So I'm asking you humbly today, get seed in the ground, whatever it is. The ways to give are scrolling at the bottom of the screen. I'm sure Pastor Jasper has posted by now the ways to give as well. Uh, there's our Cash App in the comment with Pastor Jasper. Glory to God. And then there's our website, rhodachurch.com. /donate. If you want to Zelle us, uh, info@rodderchurch.com. But get seed in the ground. We are actively looking for a worship facility. We're trusting God, really, I'm telling you, uh, no later than the end of the second quarter. I'm trusting God. I initially said the first quarter, but this fast has had me locked in. So no later than the second quarter that we will have acquired a new place to worship. I need your help in doing that, your help, glory to God, and getting that done. People need to be saved. I'm telling you, my whole goal, my desire is to start an Apostolic School of Evangelism in addition to our fellowship that we're starting, an alliance of apostles and prophets where we just bring together the apostles and the prophets to help us understand our assignment. But I also want to start a school really to teach people this, what we're learning today, how to be authoritative in this area, how we can change our world. It's so necessary. I'll see you guys tomorrow at 5 AM. Make sure you get your seed in the ground. I love you guys. I love you. Thank you. Thank you so much, everybody. Thank you, Apostle Harris. I love you, Mother. Glory to God. Thank you, God. Thank you, Pastor Jasper. Thank you, Tanya. Thank you, everybody. Dr. Tam, Kierra, Apostle Lay, everybody joined us today and commented. Hallelujah, Zion.
